I was here Monday night for dinner with friends. Everything was amazing. Our server Zoe was on point, even though it was busy. Good was great. Had amazig Proper Twelve cocktails.

If you’re bar hopping around downtown Boston, stop by Wild Rover! We had a group of 12 and stopped in here on a whim. We’re so glad we did because the staff treated us like we were family. The Friday evening started out with some nice live acoustic music by Randy and then turned into a lively karaoke night. We had such a blast and ended up spending around 6 hours here!Special shout-out to Randy the guitarist and Ellie the server for being extra kind and always smiling. They were the absolute best.

Loved it! The perfect date place, especially if you have a good voice! (I unfortunately don’t)

If your more into the hip hop and hype type of club scene then this is the place for you. Always a super fun time coming here. Staff/security is friendly and on top of things. Only negative comments I would have is the bar is usually always jam packed upstairs and sometimes it takes a while to get your drink. I don’t blame the bartenders though this place gets insanely hot and packed. Anyways enjoy a goofy video of my friend doing whatever he’s doing lol.

We booked the basement for a private birthday party and had an amazing experience. The space was great and all the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great night. Would absolutely recommend.

They let a bunch of people do cocaine in tha bathroom, I told the bouncer and he said they didn’t care. This was after the bouncer tried to charge me 10 dollars for a cover… after I learned there was no cover and the bouncer was just trying to take ten dollars from me

Place is always hopping! Great music, great atmosphere, the BEST chicken fingers I’ve ever had-hands down! My go to bar in Boston always! Reasonably priced food and drink so close to Faneuil hall servers and bartenders are always on point! Friday karaoke is awesome! Love love love my wild rover!

Would not recommend coming under any circumstance. The bouncer let the rest of our party in because they were women yet lied to the rest of us and said we could not come in because of a “private event”. This was after they took our cover charge too.

The food was very good, considering how busy they were, it wasn’t that long of a wait for the food. Ordered a Bloody Mary but they didn’t have the mix for it. They were able to get it later but the drink wasn’t very good unfortunately. I do recommend the meat loaf and my brother enjoyed the fish and chips with onion rings.

Wild rover lets their bouncers steal your jacket and then does nothing to help the situation. my jacket got stolen with my car keys in it and all that was done was threatening to get kicked out from the bouncers. hopefully a police report has them get serious about a serious situation. DO NOT GO TO WILD ROVER.Update:car keys recovered at the bar. only points to it more likely being a bouncer and the bouncer was most likely adrian rogers. he was eyeing my jacket as soon as i hung it up and was literally next to it the entire time. i filed a police report so hopefully they can get a look at the security cameras and this will be an easy solution. he was also the bouncer that said to me, “if you keep looking for your jacket we will kick you out.” pretty ridiculous behavior from anyone working at a bar. never going to be getting my money again.

We arrived on Monday night for karaoke. We were there at 8 but things didnt get rolling until 9:30 or so. Thankfully, we can for a meal as well. The loaded fries were amazing, followed by a Caesar with steak tips. Both were great. The drinks were good but not particularly strong. Service was ok but a little slow. We had a blast with our friends nonetheless.

Fun place to go for some karaoke, upstairs was extremely loud. Our waitress was great and friendly

Had such a fun time with my friends! None of us had done karaoke before and the guy that was controlling the karaoke section was super rude and called my friends and I “gremlins” when we were singing and referred to us as that the rest of the night. Will not be going back for karaoke or drinks due to the rude reception we had received from the staff. Sissy k‘s is much better for karaoke and a good respectful time.

I went there in a Monday after around 6 pm. I spent a good time. Good music and you can watch TV there.Their food is amazing 👏 😋 😍

Great waitress ! All I remember was that she is 18 years old, a very sweet girl, and she is the reason for the service rating of 5 stars. The atmosphere of the place was very cool until all the people arrived for karaoke and dancing the Saturday my friend and I came. Many of the customers who showed up were extremely rude. Yes, I do rate establishments by the people who gravitate to the place. You are the company you keep. My friend is 100% African American ... ONLY the waitress made my friend feel comfortable and welcomed. There were drunk rude men who disrespected people of color. Just wed walk by the young white drunk men, and they would say something rude each time . Definitely not returning!

Highly recommended. I brought the crew here last night. Hands down one of the best in Boston. All nice staff and great bartenders

I went to this bar a few times and every time the 5ft 7in (being generous) bouncer wasn’t nice at all and brought the rating down 5 stars the only thing that brings this bar up is the waitress who is the love of my life. P.s the bouncer had black hair and a shocking arm tattoo.

Dont know how to run a bar. Toilets are the grossest Ive ever seen. DJ cant mix music for his life. And the karaoke manager will bump you from the list without notice, after hours of waiting. First time, and last time. Avoid this place!

Scott Damgaard fills this place every Sunday with great originals and requests barked out from the crowd. Beer prices are beyond reasonable and Jess behind the bar serves them with a smile that could light up Fenway Park!

I was here out of town for a gaming conference, and it was INCREDIBLY welcoming. The bouncer was extremely professional. The biggest plus being in Boston is my brother and I are from NEW YORK so we expected a weird if not unwelcoming experience based on stereo types. The bartenders were as nice as they come, one of them whose name is Ajsa and Lily were even nice enough hang near us to make us feel welcome. Definitely coming back. And damn, there was this one bud light…

Pretty cool place. I was there for a private party, the food was ok, the drinks were good, but the vibe brought me back to Penn State. You tell me if thats a good thing or not.

I’m from cape cod and this was my first weekend out in Boston and I picked the right spot! Great drinks but the best part was the service! Our bartender Ajsa was awesome, so nice and helpful. She was above and beyond

This is the best Karaoke spot in Boston hands down!The drinks are average and somewhat watered down but the atmosphere more than makes up for it. The upstairs dance floor is basically a sauna absolutely packed with mostly college kids but the DJ is very nice and has a great playlistOnly downside was that the staff was rude when I asked if there was anyone with a phone charger. Luckily for us the bouncer at the door was friendly and helped us with directions back to North Station.

This “Bar” is durt! Firstly, service is utterly horrifying…..one bouncer in particular verbally abused my parents and I for drinking water with our food instead of alcohol?!(The man in question was approximately 5”7 in height with dark hair and an irregular diagnosis of small-man-syndrome). Secondly, the karaoke is extremely underwhelming as they have no microphone connecting to the speaker system…strictly acoustic vocals. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy wasting hard earned dollars !$!

Visited for the first time this past Saturday with old friends. Was initially greeted by a very friendly door man and then sat at a table on the main floor. Drink prices were about the same as most bars in the city but the food was a surprising hit! They have karaoke every night which is a bonus

A fun night out with plenty of music, charaoke, and drinks. The only downside is that the drinks are very overpriced - $8 for a 6oz plastic cup filled to the top with ice. If youre willing the spend that money on alcohol, then youll have a good time for sure.Edit in response to the owners comment: I would not say I was disappointed with the experience, I enjoyed myself. Thats the most important part. The beers were priced fairly and, as mentioned, were in the 10-12oz range. However, the mixed drinks (i.e. vodka cranberry) were certainly not 10oz cups last night. That is simply false - Im not sure if it was a fluke. Regardless, Id still recommend this place for a fun night out.

This is a fun ok place. Nothing different than any regular bar. Has a nice fully stocked bar down stairs when you come in and a second floor dance floor with two bars. I would say it is just a normal quick place to get a drink but nothing much makes it memorable enough to say I want to come back. I rate it average

Had a great time singing karaoke on Wednesday night. Eve was very attentive and made sure my glad was never empty. Ill definitely be coming back!

Terrible place, specially for women. I don’t recommend at all.

Music way too loud to watch the game. Only two tables occupied and both asked for the TV volume to be raised for the Champions League Final (the only reason anyone was in the bar). Manager refused and didnt even come to talk to us. The bartender was great but manager clearly didnt care about her customers. We went to Warehouse Bar nearby and they were much more accommodating.

Chicken tenders were amazing, portion was huge, pours were great. In the middle of a Saturday, it was a pretty chill place to grab a snack and a beer.

The DJ is amazing and hysterical. I swear to god he made me laugh so much the night I was there. The bartenders are super nice, friendly, and open to drink ideas. Definitely a place I recommend for dancing.

The food was decent (I ordered the 12oz rib-eye). The trivia was entertaining and karaoke okay (the lyrics programming had a syncing issue but the host was real nice). The service however left a little to be desired. We kept trying to get our waitress attention and after 15 minutes had to get up and find her to order our food. We also at the end had to track her down to pay our bill. All in all it was a cute local little place, but not the best place Ive been. The regulars seemed to really enjoy the spot though.

Friends and I came all the way from Washington State on a sports trip. We stumbled across this place on a Thursday night for postgame drinks and adventure. One of the Bartenders (Natasha) was so amazing we went back the next night to party harder! What a great time! This girl NEEDS A RAISE!:)

I honestly can’t say enough good things about the service here. The servers and bartenders never make you feel like you’re just another customer. No matter who I’ve been served by, every experience here feels welcoming and comfortable; they treat you like friends while always remaining professional. Whether it’s a Wednesday afternoon or a Saturday night, I highly recommend stopping in for some food and drinks!

Extremely weird bouncers that didnt even allow me and my friends to enter the place because they decided we had a lot to drink which wasnt even the case. Most rude encounter with the people at the entry. Was my go to, but would never recommend it ever.

This place is awesome! Wish it was more busy like it used to be about 6 months ago. The karaoke is the main reason why I go and the staff is very nice. Drinks are good. 3 floors of entertainment on the weekends. Good place. Drive every week almost to come here!!

Waitresses and bartenders were very sweet and kept making sure my friends and I were all set and having a good time. Also the sour patch kid drink from Ajsa is way too good.

One of the best Boston bars around! I worked there for a bit and am so happy I can now enjoy as a regular customer. Amazing staff and cheap drinks. Great spot for some karaoke! They have contests with cash prizes sometimes as well so you should ask about it to see what’s going on that month! Three floors with bumping dance floors in the basement and on the third floor. The DJs know what they’re doing. 2 for 1 appetizers til 7pm (perfect for after work drinks). $2 drafts. Just can’t beat it. Gets rowdy for sure and is not always for the faint of heart, but it’s a wicked fun time and I can’t recommend this place enough

What a nice evening at Wild Rover last night!Dan Whitelock playing tunes on guitar and singing. Nice range from country to Taylor Swift to Rock. My cheeseburger was delish, Taylor, our waitperson was great, other staff great, too. The restaurant was clean, enough room to dance, nice vibe! Fun place to go after work on Friday nights!

Karaoke nights are good. It is the kind of place where you can definitely have fun if you bring your own crowed. Not the kind of place I would go to meet people though. There are a couple of amazing singers that gather on Thursdays. The place decir is not amazing and the staff is average.

This place is a good size & had several tvs if you wanted to watch a game. The karaoke was fun & handled through an app which kept things fair. The upstairs had a dance floor with its own music, but I couldnt really tell you the vibe up there since we kept it downstairs. The crowd is pretty mixed but can definitely attract a lot of college kids.

The customer service is average but I thought it was odd that the staff carried food from sissy Ks over to wild rover. Imagine ordering a meal and watching it walk past a line of people, then in through the front door.I guess Id recommend the just the drinks.

Cool that they have karaoke, the host on Wednesday night hates his job though so its kind of awkward. Try not to have to interact with him I guess. He has all the speakers far away so he cant hear the singers, which means you cant hear yourself singing either.

Bar staff was great, drinks great. Only one TV behind the bar works, went to watch FSU Notre Dame game, and was disappointed every other play. Asked the manager why it was this way and his response, “your at a night club why does it matter.” Was there at 8pm before the night club opened. He was also very rude with the interaction and the bar downstairs is karaoke, by no means a night club. Fellow patrons advised me that the TVs haven’t worked since 2019. Got the suggestion to go there from sissy k’s which can only play one channel at a time which would have been fine but the USA men’s soccer were playing Canada at the same time as the football game…

Horrible experience for NYE. we are 2 girls and bought $80 tickets for Bar Crawl.In New york one can come any time in the night with the ticket and here at this greedy filthy place , we were obviously supposed to register by 9pm. We never heard of anything like this and were only 15 min late and they didnt let us in.Had to pay again. The place is nasty , crowded and everyone was throwing up outside and inside 🤮🤮🤮So gross. Shame on you guys, managing

Food is surprisingly good for a local pub. The staff is friendly yet professional. Management is stellar and extremely hard working which in my opinion is a recipe for success. A must see if visiting Boston or for the locals a must be regular place to frequent.

Make sure you check your credit card statement. I was charged twice for my meal. The man working the door was nice but the bartender was not friendly. The burger cost $5 and a pitcher of beer is $9. The prices are not bad.

The guy running karaoke on July 17th had the amplifiers so loud that it was clipping the speakers. Even with hearing protection, my ears have had constant tinnitus all week. Also, the music wasnt playing for some of the karaoke songs, which confused many of the singers.The upstairs dance floor was a sealed hot and sweaty room with very little airflow. Downstairs was nice.

Came here with a group of friends after having a disappointing experience at another bar. We loved it so much at Wild Rover that we spent the rest of the night here. The $5 slushies were great and Karaoke was a total blast. Ill definitely be back here soon!

Fun karaoke bar and dance floor vibes.

Karaoke downstairs, night club upstairs. Very noisy and mostly college crowd if youre into that type of thing. Mediocre drinks, the layout downstairs is not the most conducive for karaoke as you cant always see whose singing depending on where you sit. Music upstairs is pretty good. All in all same as going to sissy ks or Hong kong.

Went for 1st time this past weekend and must say that its definitely a popular place. All 3 floors were full. This place just needs to either get more space or limit capacity lower because was just so cramped & upper floors were way too hot, so we mainly stayed on bottom floor even though top floor had best music. We enjoyed ourselves, just think some things could be changed

$1 coors is no more--$1.50 bud light instead! Maybe its different on different days. We went on a Friday. They ran out around 930 or 10pm. After that all drafts are the same price and all the bottles are the same price. I dont get it...Fun music upstairs, funny karaoke downstairs. The staff were nice and seemed like they were having fun, especially laughing at the people who were dancing really funny at like 830 (too drunk too early).Standard college bar/club inside--by that I mean 100 different color lights and limited seating. Go early to grab it!

Great staff, friendly KJ, experienced bartenders. My only complaint, which I have for a lot of bars is the noise level. Also the chairs and tables were so disorganized that I tripped a few times with my cane.

More like 3-1/2 stars.Plus: very nice waitress, decent lighting, prices very reasonable for downtown Boston with a nice menu.Minus: service was very slow, even when quiet, entirely too much ice in my tonic, making it go flat, although I suspect that the CO2 cartridge was running low, too. Far too loud for space. Restaurants and bars, as a rule, need to learn how to scale their sound systems to their space better.

Favorite spot on the block - I can’t seem to walk through the Faneuil hall neighborhood without a trip to the rover! Unmatched customer service - talk about above and beyond. They have good drinks, good company, and LIT nachos. Guaranteed I’ll be back - bet on it

Im from Miami, we visited Boston for work and checked out Wild Rover, staff was friendly, patrons were high energy and a lot of fun, and I can definitely say these arent Miami prices for sure, very affordable and prompt service. Loved it. Pretty sure my bartender was Michelle, she was awesome.

DJ awful on Halloween & music damagingly loud to your hearing. A damn shame because this is a really nice venue ruined by this alone which is totally fixable.

Was told to Shut the f up by a bartender after asking for a water and ignored, but she managed to put the check for my entire group in front of me and was much friendlier when she realized i was paying (wonder why!). Entire floor was sticky. Drinks were OK. Would go elsewhere in the future.

Everyone who worked there was amazing. We are in town for a New Kids On The Block and BBD concert and decided to have a little fun of our own. Karaoke was a smash and wed def go back.

Ive eaten food here once and it was pretty good. Mainly go out with friends on Saturday night and hang upstairs. One of the few places that I feel like DJ always plays good music. And drinks are fairly priced also.

Happy hour from 4-7 with free food and $1.5 bud light draft, cant beat the great deal. Good place to grab a cheap drink after work. Good bar to watch the game, watch old music videos, and sing karaoke!

Friday night $10 dollar cover charge was fine until we realized draft beers were $1.50. Their alcoholic slushees are also have great bang for their buck. Will be returning!

College bar! $5 cover on Thursdays, I forget what it is on Fridays and Saturdays. Karaoke on the main floor, and club on the top and basement levels. Always a good mix of women and men. Cheap drinks, beer is like $3.50 for light beers. Good place to rely on in Faneuil Hall.

This is definitely a dive bar.there is some street parking around the area and all, but we took cabs.they have some pre made frozen drinks and they were ok, not very strong but also not too weak.they have darts and karaoke there, I am not sure what is the karaoke schedule but we laugh it when we came by and that was kind of cool.the staff is ok, not the friendliest but they do serve fast cause the place is so empty.for a quiet night with a group of friends the is a ok place to go.I did not dare to eat here but I did have one of the frozen drinks.TOOTY FRUITY- it was ok. not something I would get drunk on for sure.not impressive at all but ok for a quiet night.

Karaoke is so much fun here! The nachos were yummy and the bartenders were nice. The crowd here was very 😎 cool. Good prices too.

Used to frequent this place, never again. The staff was vaping behind the bar (a health code violation) and as that was going on wet glasses were placed in an overhead rack dripping on the garnish station (ready to eat food, another health code violation). I asked to speak to a manager, surprise! He’s drinking! (Another violation). Needless to say, this establishment has been reported to the Boston public health commission. Don’t eat or drink here.

Place is solid if youre looking for some fun, karaoke, dancing, or cheap margaritas

Wild Rover is a small quaint pub adjacent to Faneuil Hall. Without the COVID restrictions, this place would be packed I bet. Our server Sinead was super nice as well. Prices very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Great place to have some down time with friends. One of my favorites in the city. A number of us go here after work on Fridays for a great-laid back atmosphere to unwind, karaoke, trivia and well priced beers.

Went on a Friday evening - Gave the 1st bartender $2 tip, charged me $3... asked the second bartender for another Guinness, charged me for 2... Let both go, because the extra charges dont mean much, but theyre clearly out to get customers under as if no one can see through such simple/scum tricks. For obvious reasons I wont be visiting here again - but if for some odd reason you do decide to make a stop here, triple check that charge and always ask for a receipt.

So they do this karaoke thing on the main floor and heres where it gets interesting. So everyone is singing and drinking having a good time. when they call up the next act I notice a shift in the air. This guy comes on stage, the guy was a black man, and starts singing a song. Part of the song has rap lyrics, but nothing vulgar. I noticed a drunk man turn to the DJ make eye contact and motion to cut the song. 30 seconds later the song was cut and the DJ claimed it was a problem with the computer. First and last time at this place

Horrible experiences here. They have a biased rule that everyone should be aware of, no entrance with a state issued ID. One must have a passport or drivers license only to enter. I know this is not always the case. My family and friends wont be returning after the continued disrespect.

This people are going to get in trouble one day with the justice. They treat people really bad. They called the police on my brother and lied about the whole situation thankfully we had videos and everything so he didn’t get in any trouble. Please don’t support this type of business. They are also very racist

Karaoke 7 nights a week, nightclub downstairs, dance hall upstairs. 4 bars on 3 floors, karaoke contests with cash prizes every Tuesday and Thursday, and a tie in with local AMP103.3FM radio every Thursday-Saturday. Theres almost always something awesome at Rover.

My husband an i have been regulars here since college now ,Friday night thee fifethteenth, of September, wanted have a fundate evening things were great ate dinner, caught tailend of trivia, hung for karoke loved the guy running it ealso sang some songs too.after went upstairs to dance letting go of two weeks nonstop cause work etc. Chatted with a couple of guys who were new to the club.right after got drinks to do a cheer on for our bevloved cousins Temple u. Football team won their game. About 11:00p.m. on dance floor nextTwo other couples so packed, I was standing in front of my husband minding own business out of nowhere this girl startsyelling at all thee couples dancing a certain way its a club, my response back waving my ring finger was Im married then she went off in a hurry.everyone inside whole place heard its so rude I think after thats had tons of looks.never in my life in this club experienced such Ill mannered patron.if thats how behavior of that sort can cause major probs. was taken aback by it told my other half lets leave early andWe did . When we do come were respectable to staff an other patrons, since when is ok for someone too be this way.my family an friends go out also where they live do the same as us.

I was standing at the bar downstairs talking to my friend and got shoved out of nowhere in the back with two hands. Looked back expecting to see some drunk guy and it turned out to be an employee of the bar. About a half hour later a huge fight broke out with that worker at the center. I have to believe he was looking for a fight the whole night and somehow the entire establishment sided with him. Horrible experience.

The waitress, who I won’t publicly name, added $10 onto the tip. Going through my statement and they charged me extra. Unbelievable. On top of it being a pretty rough bar. Go to one of the multiple other spots in the area instead of here.

Do your research before you go, they do not accept your MA state lD only passport or drivers license which l do not understand, l use my state ID to travel inside the US, but not to go inside a night club? That seems ridiculous! 😂

Old bar with a dive feel. They offer Karaoke many nights. The upstairs is a little more varied music. Recommend for a cheap start to the night.

Large cover fee, was told they were still doing food then wasnt doing food so I took back my tip and the bartender gave me attitude when I went to tip her again because my food came. Miscommunication but I bartend and wouldnt give an attitude like that. I paid money to get in here.. ridiculous.

Even through rough times like COVID 19 this place still is a go to! Staff is great and all the proper precautions that are in place to make everyone feel safe while at the same time having a great time! Will continue to come back here!!

I went there on Tuesday for the karaoke and the female blonde skinny bartender treat so bad, very rude and lack of respect, I ended up leaving. So unprofessional!

Usually has sketchy people here. I dont really recommend it. The music is okay but if you are in that area there are a lot better place to check out. Usually the starting places for most bar crawls.

The place gives you a decent vibe, you can enjoy the sound but still the place is congested and not that great to chill out.

Meh! No coffee pot for Irish Coffees. Oh well. Bartender was very sweet though.

I got scammed by this nightclub, the lady in the door gave me this fake $20 bill mixed with other bills, it was the change of $100, it never happened me before in the whole USA, I would like to ask the people who works there to give me back my money and make sure it doesn’t happen to anyone (they just accept cash payments if you want to get in) it was in the Halloween party they had the last weekend.

Pretty close to Haymarket if you that public transportation about 7 minute walk from the train to Wild Rover. They have good Karkoke almost every night.

Cool spot. There was kareoke when I went and the crowd was a mix of ages, all having a good time.

Karaoke was fun but make sure you are in good with DJ and tip well and enough times or else you wont sing at all....

A great place to have some drinks and food. Pretty similar to Sissy Ks. They are basically the same thing (same owner) although I prefer the Wild Rover.

Just a medeorce generic bar. Has karaoke in the basement if thats your thing. I ended up with a fly in my drink, which is just a pretty poor sign at any bar.
