The only thing I wanted for my birthday this year was a professional massage, I’m not from Boston so I looked up the best places to go and everything pointed to etant, and I am so grateful for that! I booked a Swedish massage with John and it was such an amazing experience! I’ve had so much pain and tension in my neck and back the past few weeks and it would cause the worst tension headaches. John was incredibly knowledgeable and considerate and found every knot and problem area with ease and was able relieve all the built up tension I had! The next day I woke up without a tension headache for the first time in weeks! I will be going back every time I’m in Boston! Seriously you will not regret booking an appointment here!

I mean, I’ve had hundreds of massages and I’ve obviously never had a massage before Greg. Hands down the best massage of my life: deep, careful, knowledgeable, and just what the doctor ordered. Beautiful in so many ways.

I booked my great aunt and I CBD massages and French detox mud treatments—both of us had an amazing experience! My massage and mud treatment was with Gregg. His hands are heavenly! My aunt’s massage was with Slava, but she forgot the name of the person who did her mud treatment. Both were extremely nice and professional. My aunt came out saying she felt like she was floating and I agreed!The products used during our treatments were very high quality. We both commented on how the lotions didn’t feel oily afterwards.I highly recommend getting both treatments if possible.Big pros were ease of booking online, great availability, super knowledgeable and friendly front desk staff, and professionals who are so truly talented at what they do. I also found the pricing very reasonable!Special mention on the delicious flavored water available at the front desk.The facility itself is beautiful, quiet, and tranquil. Peaceful music plays at just the right volume, everything smells fresh and spa-like, and the lights are dimmed to perfection.

I just had my eyebrows waxed by Kalika for the first time and she did an absolutely beautiful job! I was very nervous after a having a bad experience somewhere else, but they really have never looked better. She was also kind enough to explain my hair growth and how to brush/fill them in correctly. I will be back!

I’ve been on the hunt for a new go to since my previous spot closed after COVID. A friend recommended Etant and I was very excited to visit. I started with a 90 minute massage which was excellent. I was already thinking that I had found me new place for regular relaxation! Unfortunately it took a turn when I went for my facial. From the moment the treatment started, I felt like she was product pushing. Throughout the whole facial she kept telling me what she was using and the benefits and why it would be a good idea to add it to my routine. I brushed it off and even bought two products because she seemed to know what she was doing. Unfortunately I work up the next morning with my facial skin cracking she had dried my skin out so much. My skin looked ashy (not a word I think I’ve ever used to describe my quite pale skin). It took almost a week of constantly moisturizing before my face did not physically hurt. I even took my makeup off a few days at work so I could remoisturize. What’s most disappointing is that I wrote them an emailing hoping to talk about it with them before writing a negative public review and received no response.

Gregg was absolutely splendid! Had my first treatment with him, a lavender and rosemary salt scrub and moisture treatment. Will be back for a massage shortly and request Gregg again!

I had a wonderful experience at étant! I went for my first massage and it was an amazing experience. From the time I arrived, everyone was so attentive and nice. During my message, Maria consistently checked in with me and my comfort level. I absolutely recommend étant and I will be coming back!

Best massages of my life. I live in Indiana, but if I’m ever traveling to Boston, booking with Brian is more important than booking my flights. His deep tissue massage is like no other. He expertly releases every muscle, layer by layer. I am grateful for his skill, and the fact that I found him!

Had a great experience at etant yesterday! Purchased a spa package and Jackie did a Swedish massage, intensive hydrating wrap and a hand and foot paraffin wrap. Felt amazing and fell asleep halfway through massage (I never fall asleep during massages!) then got a customized facial from Dazirae and my skin looks amazing! Definitely gonna go back for more massages and frequent facials!

Had a very pleasant facials experience today. Kalika is great at what she does, she was able to recommend the right products for my skin type. I left the room feeling so fresh and proud of my skin.

First time customer and happy with the service all around. Even though the street is busy, walking through the door provides a calming, meditative atmosphere. I chose a Swedish massage with Keelon and it was 10/10. He was respectful and asked took the time before the massage to ask about my tough spots/goals. The massage was well paced, the treatment room was PERFECT (noise, music, sensory, table comfort, privacy, temperature), and Keelon respectfully checked in 2-3x (my preference). Would recommend etant for massage services over other massage spots in South End, South Boston, and Dorchester.

I have been going to Etant for about a decade for massage and can’t believe this is the first time I am finally leaving a review. I have fluctuated from going once a year to going every couple of months. They offer a 12-pack series that makes massage affordable; highly recommend it as a good investment in self-care. The team here is very professional and accommodating. I love supporting this well-run local business that has been around for 20+ years.

At time of booking to walking in I was not sure what to expect. When I asked questions about my services over the phone the front desk doesnt seem to know much about the service and what it entails. Also if you drive, good luck coming to this place and looking for parking. It took me over 30 mins to find a parking spot.Walking in and view from the outside the spa looks very nice.Walking in to the front desk, the person who greeted me was nice. Offered water.Greeted by my esthetician after a small form was filled out. Booked for brow tinting + waxing for bikini area. I was also booked for a bikini plus It was either a bikini, bikini plus or brazilian. Maybe Im used to other waxing spas that specialize in that area but when discussing the wax area she explains thats not what Im booked for or will be getting. I was just overall confused because I had no idea what shell be waxing then or what they even wax in each tier. Its not my first time getting a waxing service from spas, so I am very familiar with these services. I also think her skills were just mediocre for waxing. Doesnt do any pre wax and post wax care!!! Just puts the wax right on it the second she comes back in. She asked me if I wanted lotion after she was done. Usually theres a proper care after already included from other places. Just by the look of the room it seemed like it was her own setup or rental. Ive never seen a esthetician room set up like that. It looked like it was her brow tinting products although she said it was the companys. Her brow setup was in a makeup bag and the stain wasnt great at all. The first time she barely left it on, and then the second time I suggested we can take it off after the waxing service. It looked better but still was not great for JUST a stain that cost $40. (does not include hair removal, thats a separate service)My esthetician was VERY nice. She went to tell the front desk to change my wax service because she felt like she didnt do that much waxing after some discussion with her.At check out, no one asked me how my services were. I would have expressed about the brow tinting service and maybe feedback about the waxing. Right away they told me how much it costed and asked how I will be paying. Luckily I had a gift card that covered everything even the tip! I wouldnt want to pay for any of that.

Had a great package treatment that included a hand/foot parafin dip, deep tissue massage and salt scrub. John was the technician and did a wonderful job. He paid attention to my pain points, checked in with me the whole way through and explained each part of the treatment. Can’t wait to come back for more services with John!

I swear by Kiley for my lashes & brows! I regularly do lash lift with tint & brow tint with brow lamination. I ask for black tint so its on the bolder side, and brow lamination to fill in sparse areas. This combo just gives a flawless brow!!! Highly recommend the lash & brow services at étant.

Etant is a calming spa with caring masseuses who do a great job of helping restore ones body. Definitely recommend.

Very professional. Offered complementary water before entering the room for my deep tissue massage. Was my first massage ever. Jackie was an amazing masseuse. She made sure I felt extremely comfortable and focused on my troubles areas. Felt like a million bucks leaving there. Would definitely recommend everyone to go there. 10/10 experience. I enjoyed a Swedish massage today with Slava-he was the consummate professional. He initially familiarized himself with my spine and surrounding muscles as that was my target area. He then took the time to warm up my muscles before worked into the mainmassage. I don’t thin I’ve ever gone to a masseuse with such a thorough approach! Great experience at a lovely spa.

While my esthetician was very nice and experimented, the facial I received came with a very hurtful arm massage that was not needed, during which I was never asked if the intensity was okay. My arms have been sore for two days now and I have a bruise on the left arm, for which I had to get cream. When I contacted the manager about this (before posting an online review), I was told to take painkillers and it did not feel like she believed I was in so much pain. She did say she will address it with the esthetician, which I am glad about, but the lack of commercial gesture for a customer who just spent $200 at the salon was honestly shocking. I regret even coming to the salon. Now I have to explain to colleagues and friends how getting a facial gave me a bruise on my arm. I will not recommend this place to anyone and I would have preferred to have never heard about it.

Had the best prenatal massage from Maria. It was one of the best massages prenatal or not that I’ve had. I walked out feeling so much better and so relaxed, and the entire staff was so sweet. Thank you so much!

Booked the appt same day with no issue, got the time and service i wanted. Check-in was a breeze and Galina provided one of the best facials Ive ever gotten. I did the Moisture Drench Facial and it was exquisite. Good products, not pushy on the attempt to sell products, just all all around great facial with an unexpectedly good head, neck and shoulder massage. Highly recommend!

I have been seeing Galina for years for facials. She is the best spa therapist I’ve ever encountered. The entire experience is so calming and luxurious. Visited etant while on a weekend in Boston to see family. They were able to accommodate my last minute appointment request. Gregg was flexible with my message requests, extremely professional and very kind. His message was fabulous. Dazirae did a custom facial for me focusing on my sun exposure and deep cleaning needs. My skin looked fabulous when it was done. Cant recommend enough.

I had a fantastic deep cleaning facial with Galina and it was a truly luxurious experience. Galina made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. She explained all the products she was using and what they did (exfoliate, detox, etc.). My skin looks and feels amazing after seeing her and I will definitely be back!

I went for a facial with my mom as a mothers day present. Everyone was super kind. It was very relaxing and the treatments were amazing. My skin is still glowing! Definitely recommend and will return.

I came twice for a prenatal massage with Lori and both time she was really careful and taking good care of me during an hour. The massage was wonderful, she puts the pressure I like (medium I d say) and focus on some area I asked. The place is small but cute and very clean. I had the best massage of my life this past weekend at Etant. Fatima gave me a prenatal massage to help ease the paid of a sciatic nerve flare up I was experiencing (typical third trimester struggles). She gave me relief I truly didt think was possible. She was so professional, sweet, and made sure baby and I were comfortable the entire time. Not to mention, the room and entire facility are always incredibly clean, and the front desk staff are pleasant and kind! I would highly recommend to anyone who lives in the South End, Boston and beyond.

There is a parking garage steps away, which makes driving in very easy. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by exceptionally friendly front office staff and led to my room (after being offered the bathroom to freshen up after explaining how utterly hot and sweaty I was).I received a paraffin wax treatment, Swedish massage, and hydration wrap treatment. I had the same masseuse the whole time. By being attentive to my needs, listening to what I asked for, and adjusting accordingly, he was - without a doubt - the best masseuse I’ve ever had.I’ve gotten many massages at home, in parlors, and at spas but this one was the best. What the individual rooms lack in fancy decor and design, they make for in high quality customer service. Will definitely be back!

Just went for a prenatal massage and asked Deena to focus on my glutes/hips. Not only did she do that, but she identified the source of the muscle tension and showed me some stretches to do at home to work on it. I feel so much better!

Ease of getting an appointment 2 weeks out was nice. They are open until 9pm most days. We got checked in quickly and with friendly service. I only booked a 60 minute but man! it was fantastic. I needed some relaxation and some muscle issues addressed and Jackie did it. One of the best massages ever. Even though they are located on a busy street, Tremont, the lower level room location was very quiet with nice soothing music. Next time Im in Boston, they are on speed dial. Thank you etant!!

Years ago I somehow found étant, and it has been my #1 go-to whenever I need a true, professional, relaxing spa massage. I have never had a bad massage here, and I would in fact say Ive never had a better one anywhere else! Dont worry about who to choose... Every person on staff is professional, friendly, and so so good at what they do! (That said, my most recent massage was with John, who was expertly able to find every last knot in my back... Amazing!) From the moment you walk in to the moment you (probably float) out of there, you will feel welcomed, relaxed and taken care of. My absolute favorite spa ever 💜

Brian takes giving massages to a whiole new level. He uses techniques on your muscles that I have not felt before. It doesnt feel like your standard massage, its so much better.

I had the best experience at Etant. Stacy the owner is a wonderful welcoming person. She cares about the wellbeing of her customers. The receptionist and staff greeted me so warmly. My friend and I planned a spa day together and it was the best day ever! We got our eyelashes lifted + tinted. Kaitlyn did my eyelashes. She was super sweet and very easy to talk to. She did a fabulous job. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my lashes. I will be going to her again. After, my friend and I got a couples massage. It was the best massage I’ve ever gotten. I felt extremely relaxed and loose. The therapists were very well versed in their specialty. It was a 10/10 experience. I will be going back to Etant and you should too.

Gave the Bliss package to my mom for her bday and she absolutely loved it! Shes pretty sensitive and is particular with massages but thankfully she raved about the hospitality of the staff, the technique and all around comfort. Definitely worth the value, quality experience. Thank you.

In had an incredible experience at étant! They were able to fit me in for a last minute massage, and the front desk staff was among the friendliest Ive ever encountered. I was greeted with kindness and offered fruit water while I filled out forms. My massage with Keelon was incredible. He was extremely attentive and responsive and he understood how to get at the root of my chronic pain, which is a rarity. I will definitely be back!

My husband and I came here for a couples massage while visiting Boston. The staff were welcoming, our massage therapists (Benson and greg) were great, it was easy to find. We had a really nice massage and would definitely go back next time we are in boston.

Not a big fan of spending a lot of money for an hour massage but I will say that my visit to etant was very much needed. Brenda did a great job and was very thoughtful with the full body integrated massage. I left feeling very relaxed and at ease.Only negative thing I have to say is that the walls are very thin - I could hear the therapist welcoming their patient into the adjacent room about half way through my massage. It took me out of the Zen environment and it was hard to get back into that through the end of my massage.Having said that, I would recommend this place and will likely return again.

Ive been in search of a new spa for facials. Etant is wonderful! I saw Kiley for dermaplaning and a facial. She is WONDERFUL. My skin was absolutely radiant. I booked a return visit with her before leaving todays appointment. The reception staff is lovely and helpful. I will most certainly be returning for regular facials.

I picked this place because I saw someone write Keelon gave the best massage theyd ever had, and that is accurate. I was searching for an open spot with availability on a Saturday morning, and I lucked out enormously. Excellent place.

Very attentive! From the first step theyre very welcoming. Their massage therapists are responsive and give you exactly what you want (or need). They ask you which zones to focus on, and the hot towel treatment/lotion makes you feel so pampered. Definitely recommend, youll feel like a newborn baby.

My husband and I enjoyed a couples massage from Gregg and Slava. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. First, we made the appointment last minute. I couldnt believe they had availability on a Monday, and Stacy was so attentive to getting us scheduled. Second, both Gregg and Slava were extremely cautious and considerate of everything we said. I purchased a couple’s massage for my boyfriend and I, both massagers were wonderfully accommodating. My knotty shoulder was worked carefully but enough so I felt relief. Over a week after our massages, we still feel the relief from this hour. I highly recommend this spa. I plan on returning for a facial treatment in the future!

Had scheduled a massage and unfortunately at the last minute got very, very sick. I called them to see if I could move my appointment and she was very adamant about not letting me do that and said that it was policy she had to Charge me anyway because of the masseuses were already there. Even spoke with the manager and she would not make an exception. If there was a zero I would give no stars. And I would never recommend this place and I would never go back

Had a 90 minute deep tissue massage by Brian. I can say it was definitely one of, if not the best deep tissue massages I’ve ever had. He was able to apply the appropriate amount of pressure and work out numerous knots that I had. Overall it was a great experience and I will be returning again soon. I was also happy to see that Covid precautions are in place with temperature checks, hand sanitizer usage and contact tracing. I would highly recommend etant.

Went here with my fiance as an anniversary gift. We did the paraffin hand and foot treatment, massage, and facial and everything was exceptional. Staff were extremely kind and catered to all our needs. Even things we didnt think of, they thought of for us. For anyone worried about COVID, they also wore masks the entire time and had plenty of hand sanitizer available. Would completely recommend and also go myself again.

This is absolutely the best prenatal massage in Boston! They are the only place I could find that offers a 90-minute prenatal massage. Plus, it was one of, if not the best massage I’ve ever had. I’m 38 weeks pregnant and my back has been killing me. John worked out so many knots and my whole body feels so much better. Can’t recommend this place enough! Taylor was great and made my first facial the best. Pumpkin masque was so luxurious! She was informative, gentle and by some magic, left my skin with no red marks at all after removing blackheads. 10/10 will come back to see her! Plus I now have more knowledge on how to take care of my skin at home.

Wow. Amazing service!!! I went during covid . So was not sure what to expect. I waited out for a few seconds before going in. You have to wear your masks.The facility was clean . The host at the desk was friendly and welcoming. I received a massage from Fatima and it was by far one of the best massage I’ve had . Definitely will be back!!

I went to etant November for a really sore back - my wonderful therapist knew exactly what to do and I almost wept with relief. The spa itself is beautiful and tranquil. They are very specific about what your need are and how they can help you to have the best experience. If they were open now, I would immediately schedule another appointment, they are that good.

Keelon and Bernadette were phenomenal! I was visiting Boston with my husband and while he was working I decided to treat myself to some TLC- from walking in and being greeted by Jeanne to the exceptional care and attention to detail during my facial and massage. I loved it! I hope to get back to them as soon as humanly possible.

Danielle is a very skilled massage therapist. She is great at communicating, asking about preferences and checking in, getting consent throughout, and is very skilled at massage therapy!! I highly recommend etant and Danielle!

Second visit and both have been excellent. Greg for 60 minutes, Slava for 90 minutes. Deep tissue sports massage with Slava was amazing! Very chill, professional and fun atmosphere.

Absolutely loved it! My masseuse did this thing where he used his elbow and slowly went up my back. He knew exactly which parts of my back needed less pressure and which needed more pressure as he went down. When he was finished, I swear, I felt lighter - all the tension was gone from my shoulders. These guys know what they are doing.

Such a gem to have in our neighborhood. I’m always so glad when I treat myself to some time here. All of the facials I’ve had have been wonderful and I’ve yet to encounter a member of the staff that hasn’t been absolutely lovely to interact with. Keep up the great work Etant!

Very peaceful spa in the heart of the South End. Had a 90 minute massage and a 60 minute facial, both of which were very relaxing and professionally done. I left feeling refreshed and relaxed and would highly recommend coming here!

I just had a facial and microdermabrasion with Taylor and it was fantastic. She used the micro machine first went over my face twice then used the steam to open my pores went over me with a fine tooth comb. She knows what she’s doing. Much attention to detail. I will definitely return😃

I was on a vacation getaway up in Boston, with every intention of having an amazing Spa experience and that I did! Everything was right on point from the friendly receptionist, to the service operators! The Staff at étant not only were able to accomadate my friend and I with our spa day packages (Massage, Facial, paraffin dips, and full body hydration wraps) which they were able to customize individually for our in specific needs. They were able to get us in the next day with no problem! The Spa was extremely clean and professional. As someone who is in the industry, I thought they succeeded in not only pleasing a quite particular client, but really making me feel at home and as if I have been going to the spa for years! The massage therapist, Keith, not only does he have an amazing energy about him, he gave me one of the best massages I have EVER received. Keith set my standard extremely high for a massage therapist in my home location of New Jersey. I enjoyed the massage so much that the next day, I booked ANOTHER massage with Keith for the following day (which they were able to accommodate again without problem). It was everything and some! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SPA!

I was in desperate need of a deep massage after sleeping on my neck wrong two nights ago. When I walked in I had to turn with my entire body. By the time I walked out my body and mind were at complete ease. My neck pain was pretty much gone after my massage w John. He was so kind and calming, and was able to apply so much pressure to needed spots. I will absolutely be back, and highly recommend Etant. And def ask for John (though Im sure everyone there is just as qualified).

This is the second time I’ve had Bryan as a massage therapist. He’s absolutely amazing, applies the right amount of pressure and I leave feeling wonderful. The spa is well maintained and the staff friendly.

Relaxing Swedish massage and facial. The facial room was quite small and the construction next door was noisy. The esty did apologize, but it was still noisy. I would recommend a white noise machine or something.

A South End gem! I stop in once or twice a year for facials and massage and it’s always an exceptional experience. The staff is kind and knowledgeable and the space is cute and relaxing.

Did a CBD oil massage w/John - was relaxing as hell. CBD oil picked out was great! Also the hot washcloth at the end was super relaxing, would love to have that put on earlier in the session! Would highly recommend this place as I felt great afterwards, there was noticeably less pain in the joints.

Joking but in all seriousness I got a massage from Fatima and it was just the best. Took about 2 minutes to roll over in the middle of it because I was so relaxed. I have been coming here for years, and they never fail to deliver, whether a more relaxing Swedish massage or a rigorous, destroy-your-muscles sports massage. The interior is a nice oasis from the hubbub of South End right outside, with professional but personable staff, and great little amenities like fruity water right upon check-in. Keelon is great and gave me some foam roller tips for taking care of my muscles in between visits.

This review is overdue but think its important to post.My faced was burned here after the microdermabrasion machine broke and a peel was used after. I had grill mark scars on my face that took forever to clear. Owner refused to address the situation accordingly. It was a depresssing, sad, and frustrating time in my life having to look at those scars every day when this occurred. Would not recommend.

Etant is a great place. It is perfectly clean and Josef is a magician as a masseuse. I got my massage yesterday at 330 and have never felt better this morning.
