The 9 Bar & Nightclub

Went in here one time. Decent bar, too many people under the age of 21. Basically a bar for freshmen and sophomores. Way too crowded, took me about half an hour to get a drink. How has this place not lost their liquor license? There are just so many better choices in Brookings.

Went out with my friend and my boyfriend and we had been standing in the line to get up on stage and only my boyfriend was allowed up on the stage. We Had an issue with one of the bouncers on being able to get up on stage. He told that us we kept cutting in line and refused to let us In, not once, not twice, but THREE times even after going back in line. I understand that it is a bar and that he was doing his job but how he was acting with other people and how he was acting with me was the most unprofessional thing I’ve ever seen and dealt with my entire life

I’ll give the 9 …, four stars because it does have some sleazy men, gross fake girls and boys for that matter. But at least the 9 has a way better atmosphere then the other young bar (MSP). This place is so much better the staff doesnt look 6 years old you can meet better people here the staff are all really cool for the most part. The back of the club is drenched with drinks and piss…lol but like I said it’s an actual place to do something not just an underage let’s talk about farming and Busch light.,., la de da. They have a dance floor here to but fair warning if this place gets packed it gets hot. I MEAN LIKE REALLY HAWT. I’d still rather pass out from heat stroke or serotonin syndrome here then go back to the Main Street Pub …

Anti constitutional management. I.E freedom of speech. Individuals with differences ideals to the manager will be banned.

Love this place! Everyone is so friendly plus good cheap drinks

Men wont stop touching you there and WILL try to jump you outside the bar. Dont go if you are with a group of young women.

This is THE college bar in Brookings and it is tons of fun to connect with friends and meet new people here.

Always a good time. Over crowded unless its a break/holidays at the college or summer.

RICHI AND DOM WERE THE BEST BARTENDERS IVE EVER HAD!!! 10/10 recommend these guys and their FANTASTIC service
