Something tells me that this place started out strong and has lost most of its key, masseuses, or they’ve just gotten complacent in their work ethic. Despite several solid reviews, the place clearly doesn’t really specialize in anything other than their one kind of massage.After about 20 minutes of me, continually asking them to not keep working on the same area, she paused for a second, and asked me what I wanted, I thought we finally moved past working on the same area… But no such luck,She simply wiped off my shoulder areas, reapplied more oil, and went right back to the same area. I very politely asked to speak to the manager, so she walked out. Nobody came in, so I finally got dressed and walked out.The bottom line is they only want to do MASSAGE one particular way, and it’s the tie stretching technique, which doesn’t really get in deep to the tissues, or provide pain relief for any particular spot.When I politely asked if there were any other therapists, who may be more willing to do more than just the shoulder areas and the stretching technique, as told that they all do the same thing, and that they don’t specialize in deep tissue, even though they clearly advertise that they do.The place is prettier than most time, massage spots, and everybody there seemed polite. But as far as an effective Deep Tissue or sports massage, You’re probably gonna want to find a place where they’re willing to actually work, not just smooth oil and towels on and move your limbs around..Thank you.

This is my second time visiting this place, first time I got deep tissue massage with Jennifer. Felt great, a bit sore, it took the pain from my body. Today I got medium-tension session with Nancy, it was good, but I choose to go with deep tissue for the next time. The place is clean, quiet, they offering you tea after the session. My only two things is:Music, I think a sound of nature like a bird in a forest would be better than a repeat piano note.Blankets, I understand that it is easier for Massachusetts to work on your body while you are under the sheet, but I think a blanket below mid-stomach would be good. But I would definitely be going back to this place. Deserve all 5 stars ☺️

I came in for a prenatal massage and Lily exceeded my expectations. She was gentle with me all while breaking up my soar muscles my belly causes! I was completely relaxed and it felt like I was in there all day! Definitely recommend

I’m not sure how they were able to get these 5-star rated reviews. Lily, my massage therapist, almost break my wrist by stepping one foot on my hand and one on my arm. They just used feet most of the time and it’s our first encounter with a thai massage therapist using their elbow which we don’t like ‘cos they’re too stubborn to use their hand. They don’t even massaged our fingers on hand and feet. This was far the most terrible experience we’ve had. Not coming back.

Had such a lovely experience getting a massage at Lavender Organic Spa! I honestly didn’t have high expectations from this place, as it seems to be a bit of a hole-in-the-wall from the outside. Had to come here to say I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, friendly staff, and overall great vibes here.

I do admit my massage was really good but they over charged me and then asked me to pay more tip.

Always clean and they really know how to work out my knots. No matter how many times they might have to go over it. My go to spot.

The ladies here are so nice. I try to go very often.

I have to say that having a masseuse with nails is not the best experience. She was professional but I could feel her nails when she was massaging my body. Also when she moved My head, the towels or anything else. It was very aggressive and did not gentle. I felt like a puppet. It wasnt very relaxing experience that it should be.The tea was great. That is for sure.

So relaxing and pretty inside. First time here and had Jenny. Ive been a massage therapist for 14 years and i have to say, jenny is probably the best Ive ever had!!! Shes so nice, and knows what shes doing. Found my new therapist 🙌

This place is a gem! As many others have said, you would never guess from the outside — but inside is very cute and clean. Staff are fantastic! I had one of the best massages I’ve ever had from Edie. She is super knowledgeable. Will now be a repeat customer and tell all my friends.

I have been to this spa more than 3 times. Its close by my home. They are accomodating on last minute appt. The parking is not great. Price is affordable. Its clean in the building. Its relaxing and the place is tucked in a corner like a hidden gem.

I couldn’t recommend this location & the massage therapist’s enough! I never leave disappointed, no matter who I see here! Wow! What amazing massages. This is my 5th (plus) time here. Every time I am so thankful I found this place. I usually see Joy. There’s been a great experience with all the the therapists. I have major knots in my shoulders and every time lavender organic massage has listened to what I’ve asked for my needs and I haven’t ever left here feeling like I am not getting what I pay for. This was my first time visiting this spa & I was not disappointed! Booking was a breeze & Dada, my masseuse was amazing!!! Parking was a bit tight, as I went in at 7pm, and they’re in a strip mall with other businesses, serving dinner at the time. The spa was very clean & well kept! It smells like lavender and citrus as you walk in & the waiting area was quite pleasing and relaxing. I was instructed to wash my hand & my room was ready early, so I went right in. The kind woman working the front desk asked me for more specifics for my treatment & Dada came in promptly to start. It was very relaxing and comforting. Hot towels were used to prep my body for the massage, light massage oils & aromatic essential oils we’re used & my senses were very happy. She applied gentle pressure, my back cracked in a few places with ease & deeper relaxation following. She moved onto the hot stones, which I loved! Some light stretching was done for my body as well & another hot towel to follow, wiping away any excess oil from my skin. She also did some tapping techniques on my face and scalp, which was very soothing. Pricing was great & I left a nice tip as well, she really deserved it! 100% will be a repeat client! I can’t recommend this lovely establishment enough!!!💜

Wow. I’ve been hopping from place to place trying to find a worthwhile deep tissue massage and this is the spot! Reasonable price, clean, and excellent massage. The practitioner clearly knew EXACTLY what they were doing to help systematically release some trouble spots.I returned for a follow up visit a week later to make the changes stick. I felt like a million bucks afterwards.

My wife and I were in town visiting relatives and were looking for massages on short notice. Rafole was able to get us both in at the same time. We got the 60-minute Thai Swedish combo massage. It was amazing! Kathy was my masseuse. She was so supportive and professional. I have sciatica which is very painful. She was careful to take extra care with my hip throughout the entire experience. I highly recommend this place.

Usually don’t write reviews but had to provide this spa the recognition it deserves. Got the 1hr Swedish massage and feel extremely relaxed and limber! The staff is very professional, knowledgeable and caring — my masseuse slightly modified the Swedish to help release some muscle tension and politely checked in to make sure I was doing okay which I really appreciated. Many spa’s I’ve been in the past leave you feeling like you were scammed, but this place definitely treats you well and gives you your money’s worth. If you’re looking for a wellness day to treat yo self, this is the place!! 💆🏽

I am speechless, I brought my mom in without her knowing she was coming in for a massage, she’s been very tense and very stressed, her circulation is very poor… but I’m so glad I came to this location, as soon as I walked in I felt a presence of nothing but tranquility and peace, it smelled so good! I felt so relaxed just sitting down in the lobby. The front desk attendants were so nice and very sweet! I left my mom in their hands and I couldn’t be any happier! we did a 60 minute massage! After the time was over I came back to pick up my mom and I was given such a delicious tea! I drank about half and I dropped it lol I guess I need a massage too! But they were so nice to clean it up and they weren’t bothered at all! Well my mom came out of the massage and she looked completely different! She was so happy and just seeing her smile made my day! Amazing place to get a massage done at! They recently changed their name to Lavender Organic Spa from Rofaole.This is my second time getting a massage ever, and they were able to work out all tensed up locations I had.They were also able to get my boyfriend, his friend, and I all in at last minute. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with great hospitality. Seeing as I was in a really bad car accident back in 2019, all the muscles on my left side were messed up from that. Despite this, they were able to help work out those tender locations from my accident and more! I overall had a great experience. Not to mention too, the ambiance is phenomenal. I will continue to come here and recommend any and all to this location!

I really enjoy coming here. I usually go with Apple and she is great about giving me really firm pressure the way I like it. At one point she was going on a month vacation and she gave my advice and tips to tell the next masseuse so I would have the best time. Also, they give you the most delicious beverage after your massage. If Im honest, 5-10% of me wants to go every time just for the chocolate and drink at the end!

Decent price for a great massage. Its nice that they ask you what you want and dont want. Their cash price is less than paying with card so know that before you go. Not sure why it cost more to pay with Venmo because thats not typically a charge to use. Paying with cash is a bit more of an annoyance. Everyone is super nice and they take COVID protocol seriously. Its clean. I like that!

My friend visited from San Diego and when her session finished she ran out saying “ This is the BEST massage I ever had in my life “The place is clean and beautiful the staff is friendly and they even offered us hot tea and chocolate at the end of the session.I’m so happy that we found this spa !!!

If youre looking for a legit awesome massage location look no further. all the staff are legitimately license and know what theyre doing. let them know what body part hurts and they will take care of it. They are awesome. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are a lot better. They have a rewards program 4 repeat customers which is awesome.

Its been a while with heavy shoulder and back pain, I google spas near me and I got The Lavender Organic Spa, what a great place to get a great massage by Edie, she was recommended by the front desk gal (thank you). This is my favorite massage place. All of the therapists are very skilled. The combo massage has it all! Back walking, hot stone, Swedish and stretching. I love coming here once a week and get the 90 minute. I always tip the highest because they deserve every penny. Thank you for putting your heart into your hands.

I called them on Sunday afternoon and they very kindly gave me an appointment for that same day, the 90min massage was very relaxing.

I have always loved Thai massage and this is the place to go. All the massage therapists are good, but I usually request for Pat since she knows what I need. You get greeted with the lovely scent of essential oils. Then, you get to choose one to give to your massage therapist for your aromatherapy. The rooms are all clean and the restroom too. Too bad, I do not live in the area , and can only go there when Im in Canoga or in bad need of Pats healing massage.

They have redone the spa. The location is okay (in a strip mall) with parking underground. The spa itself is nice on the inside- clean. The service is okay. I am just bummed because I asked for deep tissue with a lot of pressure and the lady I had did not give me what I asked for. I will still be going back and continue to recommend this place to others.

I dont usually review places of business but right now I am on cloud nine and just wanted to share with you a great experience that I just had with Rafole Massage.I discovered the business by doing a google search, much like you probably are now. It is close to my home so my wife and I decided to give it a try.While the place doesnt look like much from the outside (located in a strip mall that could use a refresh), the inside was peaceful, immaculate, well-decorated, and had a relaxing vibe to it. We were greeted upon entry by Vicky. Vicky had a welcoming smile, was pleasant, and asked what wed like. I had a knot in my shoulder that needed worked out and my wife had a stiff neck area so we opted for the deep-tissue 60 minutes massage.Vicky asked if we wanted a couples room, but having done that before, weve found that we do enjoy going into separate rooms more.My wife had Vicky do her massage and I had Kathy.Both were superb. Both will massage as easy or as hard as you like. My wife and I both like it on the bring it on hard side and we were delighted with our requests being honored. We both were walked on as they use poles mounted above the table for balance and it was the first experience that my wife had being walked on and she loved it. Walk is a euphemism of course for what they actually do which is dig one heal on to your pressure points while they balance with their other foot and hold onto the poles. This creates maximum pressure and loosens even the toughest knots.Both Vicky and Kathy asked us if we had any areas that wed like extra attention paid to and we told them and they paid EXTRA attention to those areas. They also both asked if we would like to include some stretching into the massage. We both accepted and enjoyed the loosening up experience.The massages did last the full hour and we both left feeling like we were floating as all of our knots and tightness were gone.My wife and I will be going back regularly!Nicholas

The type of spa where they literally walk on your back barefoot, if youre into that. I had no idea until it was already happening. They didnt ask my permission first, which is why I gave 4 stars. Otherwise it was fine.
