Great tasting food, atmosphere is welcoming and chill, also family friendly. We had the Hibachi Tilapia, Crazy Leprechaun without bacon, and Classic Burger. Quality ingredients at a good price. Servers are very attentive and friendly. You can sit outside and watch the happenings of Downtown Palm Springs or inside and view sports on several screens.
This bar was one of my favorite and funnest spots in Palm Springs, I’d love to try their food next time but my buddies and I just tried their drinks.Great mix of people and dress code is pretty lax but the vibe was awesome with lots of rooms/spots to walk around to within the location. You got an upstairs bar that I thought was cool and the bartender picture was the awesomest! The lines can get really long but flows fast, expect a cover charge buts it’s worth it. I would recommend getting there before 9pm to avoid the hoopla of a line during holidays. I’m coming back for sure!
Maybe it was the date I went. We went on a Saturday night because we saw the pictures and read that there was a DJ on Saturdays. So we arrived on Saturday at 9:45 p.m it was extremely hot, and there was no dj on site, so unfortunately, we walked out.
As first time visitors to Palm Springs, Robert made our going out experience great! He always welcomed us with open arms and a smile. Not only that, but the atmosphere of The Village was awesome! As a mixed age group of girls, we found that the audience was very diverse, making us all feel comfortable and like our best selves. Thank you Robert! We will be seeing you and The Village again :)
What a fun Saturday night! Several different DJs in different areas of the bar. All of them played great music. Our server for our table was awesome. One of the bartenders at the main bar was extremely rude though.
Visiting from WA State and popped in here for a snack and a beer, and sat at the outdoor bar. Javier took great care of us and even let us sample some of his home made margarita mix. Im not a huge fan of tequila but after trying it with that mix, Im sold! Also, the Nachos were fantastic and everyone was super sweet! Thank you for a great experience!!!
We ordered the mussels with white wine sauce. It was really, really good. The cheesy garlic bread got dipped into the white wine sauce to make it extra delicious. The calamari appetizer was good. The Buffalo chicken sandwich(crazy leprechaun burger) was ok, it seemed to be bland. Onion rings and sweet potato fries was amazing. The Jack Daniels was really good. Mac n cheese was okay. There was a live country music singer. Dancers on the dance floor. Overall nice place. Wendy the service was a 5 star. Killer smile and excellent service. Food 3 stars overall and 5 star service total of 4 stars.
Went there for a beer after a trade show and sat at the bar. The bar tender Zach was terrific. Such a nice young man. He recommended the fried pot stickers with mango/habanero dip. Wow he was right! So good. Told me a story how his parents met there 20+ years ago. I love local joints. Thanks Zach! You made my trip.
Dont go on a Sunday night.$15 margaritas in a small, plastic cupNachos I added meat to for an extra charge and it was worse portions than ChipotleI was in the ER for a kidney stone the night before and that was a better time. Not kidding.
There is a lot going on here- there’s a sports area, live music, DJ. We were not impressed by our bloody Mary’s and bloody Cesar’s. The Mac & cheese was delicious, the cheese quesadilla was okay. My friend wasn’t happy with their fish tacos. There were a few bachelorette groups there when we met that were having a wild time. I would recommend making a reservation for certain nights it can be difficult to get a table.
Excellent place for Brunch. They have a nice patio as well as inside dining. I had the breakfast burger, which had a burger patty, bacon, ham, and fried egg on top. One bite into it, and the yolk dripped out, making it super moist. It came with a side of super tasty potatoes fried with red onion, green, red, and yellow peppers. The regular Bloody Mary was made to perfection with a nice level of spice. They have a Jumbo Bloody Mary stacked with a variety of food from shrimp, a cheese burger, and onion rings for 30 bucks. I cant wait to try that with someone to share it with. The service was just OK. It wasnt busy, and our server, who may be new, struggled with getting us refills for water and condiments when our food came up. We had to ask other people to bring it before our food cooled off
Fun place that needs some work. My wife and I are in town for a quick spring trip now that we are vaccinated. We were looking for a fun brunch place in Palm Springs so we could explore the city. We settled on the Village.First off, we had a great time. The food was good but not great. The patio was really nice and they had the misters going to cool us down on a 95 degree day. I had their breakfast burrito which was good and I really enjoyed the salsa verde. My wife’s Huevos rancheros were interesting if not a little pasta sauce tasting. The place could use some work. The bathrooms were disgusting and in disrepair. They had a broken light just dangling from the ceiling and broken locks on the stall. It could have used a good cleaning too.Worth a stop but I would love to see the owners fix it up!
We were there on Christmas Day trying to find a place to have dinner. The food was actually quite good -- I ordered pulled pork sliders and this is exactly the barbecue taste I want. However, it took more than 1 hour to prepare the food, which left everyone so hungry and tired. Even water took a great amount of time to come. I guess it was not because the kitchen is too busy, probably the management needs some improvement. Some people ordered first were served last. With some improvement on the speed I am sure this restaurant will deserve more credit for its taste!
It was a beautiful 82°day in Palm Springs We ate outside and listened to live music while eating. I didnt walk around and shop because it was difficult to breath with the mask requirements outside in the heat, I have allergies and asthma and did noticed many happy people glad to be out and about enjoying their day.
Miriam is awesome!!!!She is a worker be. GREAT customer service..I came to this place because of her. She should be promotedThanks again!!
Vibe & atmosphere are great but bartenders SUCK.2 Micheladas & a shot of Casamigos $45 but the micheladas are SWEET?!! Only thing more irritating than overpriced drinks are shxtty overpriced drinks. Pregame in the parking lot, you’ll be better off.
Jeremy the security was awesome. He really kept an eye on us after to many drinks. Made us feel safe
Came here to watch UFC 300.... service went from bad to worse as the night went on, our waitress rarely came to check on us and when we ordered our drinks, they didnt even have half the beer or champagne (champagne was part of their specials!) ...food was mediocre the only thing going for them was the multiple TVs they had to watch the fights....so bad that Im writing this review before we even left the place!
Great place to watch the ufc fights. This place has a very unique set up including an outside sitting area with a tiki bar, inside bar and an upstairs.
Food was bland and overpriced. Service was good and the staff was friendly. Atmosphere was a bit loud, but lively.
Просто супер👍👍👍(Translated by Google)Great place, we were passing by. Near this bar we made a transfer to another bus. You can eat quickly and inexpensively. And the view of the mountains is amazing. If youre in Palm springs, be sure to visit this bar, enjoy the view and just relax. Amazing place. Thank you for existing.P.s. and there’s also great music, while we were sitting I heard half of my playlist. Just super 👍👍👍
Great service by Zach! I loved his bartending skills he made a great special drink
Night life is always a good time. Bobbys the best bartender always knows what I order
Juan the security guard was so helpful and attentive and the drinks that Bobby recommended were delicious!
I was told there was going to be the UFC fight on with volume on. Got there no sign of it but figured probably cause football game was on. Was there 10 minutes at least before a server came over to get us drinks then at least another 10 minutes to get them ordered one appetizer and it was dropped off after that server did not come back over. We left and I left no tip for first time in my life. If you say the fight is on put the fight on and actually serve your customers.
Good food and boozeHad to add another star and get a little more in depth. Why, you may ask? Because the owner responded to my tiny comment above. This reflects how attentive the staff are as well (trickle down can be a good thing).Love their pub munchies! Great scene for dancing and groups at night. Very good beer selection and well mixed, potent drinks.
Unfortunately, this was not a good experience. The game was way too loud, they had no draft beer, and the chairs were wobbly, falling apart, every one of them. Apparently we were there at the worst possible time, between the lunch and dinner menus, and the very end of the brunch menu. The game was so loud the waiter had trouble hearing us and we had trouble hearing him. The waiter said if we wanted to order from the brunch menu, the only one they gave to us, we would have to hurry. So, my husband rushed and ordered the steak and eggs. He was told they were not sure if they had any, came back and said it was the last one. He gave me a different menu. After having time to look at the menu, my husband changed his mind and decided on the half rack of ribs and cancelled the steak and eggs. Then he was told that he couldnt order the ribs for another hour, because they were between shifts.🤔 He ended up with the Parmesan garlic wings, which were very good. Since I couldnt have a draft Lagunitas IPA, I asked what they had in a bottle, no IPA, only in a can. As almost everyone had a drink in a plastic cup, I didnt think they would have a chilled glass, so I just ordered lemon water. I also ordered the Baja shrimp tacos that were only so-so, with minimal flavor, but cooked well. They came with a half of a tray of tortilla chips, with a thimble of bland salsa and a thimble of bland beans. Since we stayed to watch the games, we asked them to turn the volume down a tad, which thankfully they did. We took a chance and ordered Cadillac Margaritas with extra lime. They came in a glass and were delicious! I wish we had started with that. I wasnt impressed, so no photos.
Big yikes. No attendant at the front to seat us after waiting for 5 minutes in 100 degree weather. A male waiter came to the podium and did not even acknowledge us or say someone will seat you shortly. We sat ourselves and checked in with the hostess when she got back and told her our table needed to be cleaned and she cleaned only half the table. We should have left then. Took us a while to get drinks and the waitress with braces appeared to be talking to other staff while we were waiting for our first drinks. Also the sound was very loud and we could barely hear her she was very soft spoken.Just did not seem like there was any urgency or care in the world.
The nightlife of this place was great! Very good music 3 different dance floors. It was too crowded on the second dance floor, very hard to dance, etc. We paid $25 per person to not wait in a long line to go inside this nightclub. If you dont mind waiting in a way longer line, they charge $10 per person. The drinks are great at a good price compared to how the economy is and prices going up. If youre looking for a good place to enjoy some drinks and good music when visiting Palm Springs, this is the place. I cant comment on the food since unfortunately, I didnt taste any, we were too busy dancing ;)
Also stopped in on Thursday street fair evening. The duo playing classic soft rock were excellent, made for a very chill visit.
I loved the location. This place on the east coast would slam every night.
If I could give this zero stars I would waited for almost an hour for food and drinks waiter didnt even acknowledge me or my party walked by multiple times ignoring us horrible place didnt even have the ufc fight like promised (btw I called prior to going person on the phone said they would have the ufc fight with volume on) congratulations never coming back ever again👍🏿
I never tried their food, but everything seemed so high priced, especially on the weekends. The atmosphere was awesome, multiple bars inside this place with different types of up beat music, but trying to get in on a Friday or Saturday is remarkably difficult, and because of that, i was only able to go like one time. Its a great place, dont get me wrong, but it all just felt a bit too expensive for me.
I ended up coming here with friends for the Mcgregor vs Khabib. We must of entered through the wrong way and a not so friendly security guard told us we had to go around and pay cash. I didn’t have cash at the time and saw there was an ATM inside the place. I politely asked if I could use the ATM inside, the security guard rolled his eyes and said no. I was a little taken back. I asked him if I could use the ATM and I would leave my id with him and have my friend wait outside as well. He again rolled his eyes but said yes that time. He followed me to the ATM and was watching me the whole time. Look, I don’t doubt that people try to sneak in but also I don’t feel like I should of been treated that way. We were in the stand only area upstairs and later the rest of my friends met up. It was a small space and hard to move but the fights were good and made up for it. The bartenders were nice and got our drinks quickly.
So we decided to eat here and it was awful. They were only selling hamburgers and fries. So I asked for extra pickels. The waiter (very sweet) came back to let us know that the burgers only comes with ketchup and mustard . The price was $12, we were shocked. She said they are remodeling the kitchen and didnt have the necessary food to complete a meal. So why sell food then? We got up and left.
From smelling of dooky all over to seeing people strapped with handguns(not workers/security) with drunks and people itching to fight to everyone including the security and djs snorting coke, this place is bottom shelf. As safe as chilling on skid row 2/10
Good food good service. Pricey for the size of the portions. Music was techno , base too loud, and the crowd was older watching the hockey game. Music inappropriate for the crowd. We went for happy hour spent over $100. Tasty but small portions and pricey.
Not my favorite place. Line was way too long to get through; not as in too many people, just tool too long for the front to get people in. We kept having to wait for VIP people to enter and that ended up cutting our group apart. VIP should have their own line. They take your picture and cover is $10, this feels really unnecessary for the venue. Drinks are fine but the place was pretty dirty. Overall, Id only go back if a group was already going and invited me.
I contacted this place months in advance in preparation for a bachelorette party and wanting to do a table reservation for drinks. I got in contact with the manager who was fantastic on the phone, gave me all the necessary details and said we would have a reservation from 8:30pm on for however long we wanted. Upon arrival I was told that they don’t even start table service until 10pm and had no record of my reservation. The host went in the back to talk to the manager who then refused to come out to speak to me directly and proceeded to be the messenger boy between us. After 15 minutes of this I was told we could still have the table at 10pm, over an hour later and I had 12 girls with me. We were given a 4 top table to wait and no one ever came back. I had to them track down one of the table service girls after 10pm to get our bottle service table. It was a fun spot after the fact but I wouldn’t trust a reservation for a large party regardless of what you are told by the manager.
Service was slow and the restaurant was obviously short staffed. Server came to take our orders quickly, but from there everything was a wait. Our food was also incredibly mediocre and bland. We had to wait approximately 10 minutes from the time our food arrived until we had utensils. My daughters order didnt arrive with the rest of the food and the server admitted it had been forgotten and that we would not be charged when it did arrive. When we asked for the bill he forgot to remove her dinner so we had to ask for a correction. If youre just going for drinks, Im sure it would be great, but I definitely cant recommend their food or service.
This place is a good time, and a great place to get food late at night. I didn’t go in expecting amazing food, since at night it’s a night club and caters to a decently big crowd. But it was actually delicious and the service was great despite the place being packed. With both cheese curds and juicy Lucy’s on the menu, my Minnesota-raised self was very happy, and the wings were flavorful and crispy as well. We did have to pay a $10 cover to get in but in this case I think it’s worth it, there’s several dance floors and lots of entertainment
Ok place. Just stopped to get a drink. Friendly people. A little warm inside but it was a good atmosphere. Bar outside was good and the music was awesome. Would definitely come back.
A horrific experience… We went in on a late Sunday afternoon (5/22 5:00 PM) and were seated. The restaurant and bar were practically empty. A server acknowledged our presence and said she’d be back. We waited for 15 minutes, servers walked past our table and nobody stopped. No one said anything to us. We could see the two female servers outside joking with the host and playing with his hair. Our menus were clearly on the table and closed; we contemplated leaving but were starving. I finally went to the bar and asked the bartender if we could order food from him. He was the only positive part of our service experience - thanks Javier for taking our table. I don’t know where they found these employees but I would be simply embarrassed if they were my staff. We used to go to VP frequently but will not be returning. Good luck Village Pub, might want to hit up the next local career fair and it’s definitely time for some performance reviews.
I don’t want to speak on behalf of everyone working there, but the waitress that served me and my friends was absolutely horrible. she acted completely spaced out and walked away to give another table their food in the middle of us ordering without saying anything. So 2 of us were not asked what we wanted to eat. And she didn’t come back. She never took the orders down and messed the ones that she did up. Including the critical detail that one of us has an allergy. Acted like she didn’t even know what day it was. Waited over an hour since arriving before we were able to take the other orders down when I had to approach her and remind her that she’s serving our table. She was hanging out at the bar texting while we waited for some drinks. We had to ask for a side FOUR TIMES to 2 different people. The service alone was more than enough to never come back.
Food was good. Atmosphere was good. Our server was really bad. I banged on my table with an empty cup for 20 min for a soda refill. Even after the other staff members were pretty much waiting our table, she did not bother to respond any faster. She was more focused on getting people their 4th or 5th drink. She sucked.
Its one of my friends favorite places, the bartenders make good drinks. But it always smells so bad. Ive been coming out here for over 15 years , its always had a nasty smell. They have live bands and upstairs downstairs DJ. No charge at the door, I feel like they catered to the younger crowd on Friday and Saturdays . They play music for the older crowd the other days, well a variety.
Absolute WORST restaurant experience I have had in my entire life. We had a reservation for dinner, but we had to pay cover as myself and one other from our group showed up at 9:00 pm (although the rest of our group had showed up shortly before hand and did not have to pay cover). We came here for dinner. They charge cover after 9:00. We were delayed due to our cab. We waited over 20 minutes to have our order taken as the rest of our group ate and drank. Someone came over and spoke to us and we mentioned the cover issue, and that we had not been served, and he said it was “not his department”. It was not busy. Our table had a fire pit and they had no propane for it. Our waiter had been to our table three times in a 75 minute time span. Extremely disappointed and will not be back. Terrible.
My wife and I were downtown for dinner on our last day in town and the place that we had intended to go was closed. As we wandered by The Village it looked like it had good food and wasnt too busy so we stopped in. While our assessment of the food was spot on, unfortunately there was a reason they werent busy. All in all we were there for an hour and 45 minutes, during which time we saw our waiter three times. Once 20 minutes in to take our order, once an hour in when the manager told him we needed water (after the manager got fed up with waiting for it to be delivered and did it himself), and once when we had to go to the hostess stand so we could get a check delivered. When he dropped off the check, I had card in hand, and yet he still dropped the check and disappeared again. I actually had to go to the bar to pay someone. He said he was busy helping others, but considering it was one waiter per sat table I dont know who he could have been helping. The manager, bartender and hostess that we talked to were super friendly and helpful but our waiter totally ruined the experience.
Went in for dinner on Saturday night. We stood at the hostess stand for 15 min. No one in sight. So we thought it was self seating went inside and none of the servers ANYONE acknowledged us. I had to wave down a server to finally help us. The service was just GROSS. The food was disgusting and tasted microwaved very bland very boring. The place is extremely dirty. It has not changed and it needs to just be demolished. The server also told us no draft beer, probably for the club goers later that night. Ridiculous. Never again
Reading through some of the other reviews made me think maybe a Sunday night wasnt a true Village experience, because it was pretty quiet. But thats okay ... we werent looking for a party. We were looking for a good dinner and we found it here. We wanted pasta and the bougie place across the street had a long wait so we ended up here and so glad we did. The Fettuccine Jorge with shrimp and cherry tomatoes was really good but the chicken tequila jalapeno pasta was unbelievable. We had to order garlic bread to sop up the sauce! The host was very fun and personable. Hes really the reason we decided to eat here. Our server, Kat, was efficient and friendly. She was the right amount of attentive without hovering. I would definitely recommend this place!
We did not get the food we ordered, then when we asked for what we had been asked for we were charged extra. This must have been servers first day as the drinks were also warm and although agreed to get ice twice she forgot both times, turned into an expensive and not an enjoyable experience unfortunately.
I have been coming here for years. Great atmosphere! It’s been my go to on a Saturday recently amongst the Covid crisis I like the relaxed vibe, happy hour & delicious food! This past Saturday was the first time we actually had to wait which isn’t a bad thing busy is good! However once being seated it had been sometime & no one had came to serve us until we were approached by Bobby who helped us immediately n gave us the fastest service we’ve ever experienced was impressive. Our drinks were at our table in a blink of an eye n our food was delivered hot, fresh n delicious what service! We didn’t have to bug him for anything he seemed to come at the right times n was so efficient we came back again 2 days later and asked for him! I love love great service! To go along with a great venue & great food. You honestly cannot beat their happy hour and the new menus are amazing we’ve had so many different dishes since the reopen n they’ve really out done themselves every dish exceptional with large portions. Definitely recommended from someone who has been coming here for years and can give a true account of this establishment 💯
DO NOT COME HERE!!! unless you want your credit card details stolen and charged to online stores. They charged over 2 thousand dollars to adidas and additional hundreds of dollars at the bar. after I purchased a single drink at the bar. It also happened to another person part of my group. Victor E is on the ticket as the server and I will be filing a police report on this establishment and them before they victimize more people.
This is by no means a bad 3 star review. Any bar with more than 2 stars is worth visiting. The place is lots of fun. But like any other extremely busy bar, getting a drink is a mission. The crowd is very mixed, including some wanna be thugs mixed into the crowd. Overall worth stopping by
Came here on football Sunday to grab a drink, hostess looked lost, sat at a table and never got a server so went to the bar to grab our drinks. The bartenders were not happy to be there either. Very lazy complacent staff that’s not concerned much for your service. Lots of tvs but doubt you’ll get a channel changed, decent beer selection but every place on the strip has the same stuff for a lower price. Go somewhere else is my recommendation.
Great spot for late night eats! Juan the door guy was so personable & friendly! The DJ was killing it too, on a Sunday night no less!
The service was great. I unfortunately did not get our servers name. The quesadilla my friend got had a lot of meat. Didnt see much cheese. But some people like it like that. The chicken taquitos were pretty good. Very saucy & I loved the pickled onions. The star of the show? The brussel sprouts. Excellent.
I parked in the lot just behind this place. I was walking through and saw they had live music so I stopped at the bar to get an idea of the vibe. Only one couple sitting at the bar in the entire place. Not sure if the bartender noticed me but he turned and walked to the other end of the bar just as I arrived. I patiently waited until he noticed me. When he finally looked up from what he was doing, he seemed to give me a dirty look without saying a word. It looked like he was just cleaning glasses so I just left. Not a place I want to spend my money at. If one couple that already had drinks was too much to handle, Im pretty sure I would not enjoy sitting even with the live music. Which was a bummer because it looked like a cool gig and being someone involved in the music industry, Im always looking for something new.
Great club with diverse music. Went Friday night and had a great mix of people and vibes. Dinks are fairly priced and the $10 cover is well worth it.
We had lunch there on June 9,2021. The food was excellent and the service was Awesome. My Mom was so impressed that she called today to let them know how pleased we were with the excellent service. We had actually drove to P.S. to dine at La Consuelas. It was a Wednesday, and they are closed. We were bombed out, and decided to try The Village Pub. We are so happy that we did. It’s very rare to find good customer service. Thank you so much for making our experience there so Awesome!
This was a fun place with decent food and a mostly friendly staff. However was told that the cover was waved if you get dinner that equals or exceeds the cover. Then still had to pay half of the cover to get in, but was told it would be taken off the food bill if I got enough food. It was not. Very frustrating.
Good place. The food was good; nothing to write home about. The service was good but they seemed a bit overwhelmed and one of our orders took quite some time. The owner was a little obnoxious and yelled on a mic during a football game although it was pretty hilarious to see him as he realized his team was going to lose.
Visiting this place was pretty disappointing. Id like to point out the food runner/server/busser Jordan did an awesome job. The bartender Javier appeared to be having a bad day, new, or just very inexperience. He knew very little about the menu when we asked details about the food and the Strawberry margarita I ordered was the worse margarita I ever had. After sending it back he remade it but it still wasnt very good. I dont complain much and I have so much respect for people who work in the restaurant industry but this place needs a lot of work. Javier acknowledged he was giving us poor service and gave us a small discount, but receiving a discount was not the fix. Its sad when you have negative experiences like this because its a waste of time and money.
Horrible experience! Don’t go here. We paid for bottle service, gave the server our card to spend $600, and were waiting outside for a long time. When we asked for the eta, staff got mad as us, the paying client!!! Terrible service from everyone, the staff doesn’t respect or appreciate the client. Don’t Waste your money here. Service is terrible and not worth your hard earned money. They don’t care, and don’t deserve your business. Close this place now, terrible!
Great place to watch the NFL games on Sunday, decent menu choices and cheerful service (even if its many iced tea refills, not a growing bar tab).
Showed up to order a drink at the bar. The bartender was way too busy talking to his friends. A customer and his wife came in after us and the bartender was all over them like flies on s*** getting their order. Very, very rude staff!! And the place smells to high heaven!! What the heck happened to this place?? Ill never come back to this dump!!!
Worst service ever. Server never came back to check on us, we waited 45 min to get another round of drinks, ordered nachos w:o jalapeños and they sent them out WITH jalapeños ON them and a side of them. Seriously?!? My husband just started getting up and going to the bar to get our drinks because it was faster and our server never came back to check on us. Food was mehhhh🤷🏻♀️
The service was exceptional but we went on karaoke night (Tuesday) and just like everywhere you either like karaoke or you dont. You could smoke cigs on their patio which was very unusual. Drinks were good, and the facility was pretty cool. If youre in town its worth the stop.
I usually follow the familiar food rules: If you see a food line, get in it. Or: If an eatery is empty, dont go there. We were a large party of nine people and it wasnt my night to choose, so I graciously kept my thoughts to myself. But I was right. When we walked in around 6:00pm, other restaurants in the town were hopping but The Village was empty. We werent expecting the nightly party to have started that early, but we thought it might be a little livelier than it was. The food had some mixed reviews amongst our group, from fine pizza to inedible hummus that may have been made weeks ago; it had a sharp tang and sparkled on your tongue; a sure sign of fermentation. The pear gorgonzola salad had potential, but it had so much dressing that the delicate spring greens were a soggy mess after just a few bites. Famous jerk wings were absolutely flavorless, except for one of them that had all of the seasoning, and they were dry and meatless. The hot dog, drenched in runny cheese, was also over dressed and soggy. The fries were great and the nachos and mac n cheese were as expected. With all of that said, our server was lovely and attentive. But, if youre a person who likes the creative and quality food of an excellent gastro pub, dont bother eating at The Village Palm Springs.
This was the worst experience I’ve had in a long time … my friends came here on a bachelorette celebration and I have never been treated so disrespectfully. We had a reservation , and ordered our food in a timely fashion. Unfortunately two members of our party got held up with a rental car, and arrived 20 minutes later than the rest of the five of us. They were charged $10.00 cover each; although they had a reservation (and a group with food on the table) . They were told they still have to pay the cover regardless of the situation. The two late-comers have now been sitting at the table for 40 minutes without any service. The staff here are rude and disrespectful
20 years going here when im homeLots of changes but with time some change is needed
Ok. I have too admit I had a Great time! Good food! Great service! The Kings Burger hit the spot, really good recommended by a fantastic waitress! Full of energy and smiles helped me order, great attitude! Thank you so much veronica!! I will be back Friday and I will ask for you.
Cool, friendly crowd make up the customers. Husband and I had quick bite for lunch. Bar food to dinner on the menu.
This restaurant/club was fantastic. On a whim, we spent a night in Palm Springs on our way back to Phoenix. After spending the day checking out the downtown and other things in Palm Springs, we went back out after 9m to find some late night fun, and The Village didnt disappoint. When we got to The Village, the friendly staff out front checked our IDs and told us to have fun.Youll find an eclectic and themed, large outdoor area with seating and a bar (almost like a Central American village decor). A lower indoor area with a bar (this is wear the band set up) with room to dance. An upper bar area, and even an upper dance club area. This place is huge and has to be seen to he a appreciated. The night we visited, a regional band (Banda music) was playing live, and they were fun and engaging with a ton of energy.Drinks were easy to get at all the bars, and they didnt skimp on what was served.Heres the best part. So many, and I mean most clubs/bars stop serving food after 10pm. Not The Village. They provided a full night menu and it was really good. We ordered wings and a specialty pizza. For a night club vibe, this food was on point. If youre stopping by palm springs and want to find good music, good food, and a fun atmosphere, The Village should be on your list.
We were here for a Bachelorette party and we were so excited to have some where fun to eat and drink. The food was great but we were really disappointed in the service. There was no celebration and not even any attention to us. We were there for about 2 hours because our waiter didn’t even check on us. I worked at a restaurant before and usually when celebrations like that happen we make sure they get extra taken care of because it’s a special occasion, but we felt neglected. Customer service is everything...
The Village Pub has been my goto for 20 plus years! This family owned iconic spot in downtown Palm Springs is a jewel of the desert. Lots of reasons to come and enjoy youre favorite music and grab youre favorite drink!
WORST SERVICE IN PALM SPRINGS. our server was Trisha and she was terrible. did not ring in our appetizer, and did not check on us for 30 minutes after bringing our drinks. The chef brought our food and the food was AMAZING! we were never checked on to see how our food was until asked 45 minutes later if we were ready for the check. all the while she checked on the table next to us numerous times. the food was wonderful but the service was some of the worst we have ever experienced. here on a vacation for our first night (with previous experience as LOVING this bar) this server put a huge damper on the excitement of being in Palm Springs. I will not be returning due to her negative attitude and negligence. hopefully Village Pubs reevaluates who they hire as servers.
I love this place! Excellent food and service and it’s dog friendly. I go here at least once every time I’m in Palm Springs. I always leave convinced that they are glad I came.
Our server Veronica was great and she quickly sat us and served us our drinks and placed our orders quickly. The kitchen took forever to get our food to us and they served the appetizers with our meal. Not a good thing so that is why they dont get 5 stars even though the food was tasty and presentation was appealing to the eyes.
I cannot say enough bad things about the Village Pub. We were there at 4PM on a Saturday, the waitress took about 10 minutes to finally shop up, even though there were only 3 other tables with people. She seemed very bothered we asked what beers they had. The beer was flat, zero carbonation, my coke was flat. The waitress never came back so I had to walk up to the bar, there was a bartender and a girl behind the bar, both pretended I was not there. When I finally got their attention both acted like I was inconveniencing them. Both restrooms had broken locks, piss on the floor, unflushed toilets, no soap or paper towels.
I forgot the bartenders name. I think it was Cecil. Very professional. Knew his drinks! Knew how to serve! I gave 5 stars 2 days ago. Its worth editing my review to say that I travel all across the US and Canada for work. This was a great experience!!! Ill definitely come back as well as recommend this place!
My wife and I strolled in on a Thursday and ended up having a couple of drinks and decided to eat. For sure the best sandwich of my life, we had the crazy leprechaun! Who knew avocado in a sandwich was a thing? We also had the Coachella pizza which we likely didn’t need but inhaled 1/2 of that too! Can’t wait to come back, more a younger vibe with the music choices, which I am holding onto….
It was much more beautiful at night at he daytime l wouldnt have taken the time. We went back in afternoon to see where we were. Catching it while doing the downtown night street is the time to go on Thursday
I had decent expectations going to The Village to celebrate my Bachelorette. However, I was deeply disappointed with the staff. We dealt with an incredibly rude bartender who seemed unable to make simple drinks like a gin & tonic and instead would send a gin & soda... this is only one example of the several drinks that were mixed up. When we asked to make the correction, it seemed to be a huge burden on him... when I tried to talk to the Management... it took forever for him to even bother talking to me... and even then he didnt really seem to care about the situation. The food was very meh, but the atmosphere once the club began was cool. I wouldnt recommend going there for food, but the dancing was fun.
I don’t know who they think they are. 10$ cover charge on a Wednesday night? Forget it. Went upstairs to go dancing for free.
The food was AWESOME and really really cheap. Its a sports bar, so the ambiente is not that overwhelming
Good atmosphere, like the crowd, great cover band and music, awesome (Long Island) drink...a great place for dancing when you want to show off your dance move, simply enjoying yourself. I like the idea of having security guards around keeping rowdy people in check...I see food looks great but will soon try dining at the Village Pub one if these days. Im already liking VP the first night I was there and will soon return sometime this week and the week after that, and so on...😉
Had an amazing night at this place. The initial two patrons I encountered (dudes) were friendly and welcoming, one local, one tourist; the bartender acknowledged me quickly although he was busy, throughout the night was attentive and friendly; and the overall crowd was pretty chill, friendly, and fun.It was a Monday night and there was karaoke with some kind of paid contest, which was also pretty cool. I’d say this is a definite stop for any trip to Palm Springs.
Horrible weak drinks with worse service.
A great place for dancing in Palm Springs. If youre looking for a fun night out this is the place on a weekend. Great for birthdays, bachelorettes, etc. Decent drinks, a big dance floor, and a good dj. You can text your pictures to get them up in the big screen. They have a cover so be prepared.
Moises was great in helping us get a table to watch the game. He took the time to find the game that we requested and table where all of us could watch and see it comfortably. Our server, David was excellent and very attentive. Food was great.
The environment was very modern and inviting. The day I went, a live band was playing outside, which was a nice touch. The menu was fully featured and included many items. I chose the BBQ Flatbread, which turned out to be delicious. The service was mediocre, however. Overall, I enjoyed Village Pub.
This place was so much fun! We had gone for a bachelorette night out. The live band played some good covers from various genres. The DJ was on point. The bar has a lot of beers on tap and a variety of hard liquor and mixed drinks. We didnt even have to bar-hop because this place was perfect for the whole night. We loved it!
Cool atmosphere but no service if you go after 10pm. We were given menus but nobody came to take our food order so we left.
Not sure what my waiters name was? But he was very attentive. It was nice, just got there as a game on TV was ending. Lights went down and music came on. I did however have to order a food item to get a drink. Fries 🙂 I miss socializing. Which was not happening.I almost forgot Oscar! So cordial. And was on top of it.
Had a great time here. Their classic burger is nothing less than delicious. Went there two nights in a row just to have the burger. Kudos to the cook Isaac and our server Ruth!!
Was there this past Friday night, it started super lame. It got a lot better although, I liked that it had an outside patio for fresh air. Inside its small and the DJ was playing good music. The bartenders were great! Not talkative at all although.
Fun place with a friendly staff. Came for happy hour at the upstairs bar. Fairly crowded and it took a bit longer to get helped than I expected. After that it was good. Bartender was outstanding and helpful with drink and food questions. I had the prime rib beef dip and it was very good
Omg... I cant even begin to explain how awesome this place is... First off, they have 8 mineral pools, all at different temps. Some hot, some cold. You would think that as warm as it is there, that it would be impossible to sit in warm water...nope! We kept going back and forth from warm to cold to hot back to cold. Everybody (staff and patrons alike) were so friendly. Were from Pittsburgh so... Lol It was very refreshing. The food is excellent! Its basically bat food; affordable and so, so good! And Jamie (clerk, cashier, etc) was the best! So friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back.
Music was great. Wasnt thrilled with my service. I gave my card for my two beers and when I went to sign noticed I had been charged for two shots of patron silver. I told the bartender it must have been a mistake and he said no and threw away the top receipt with the items so I just had the copy to sign. $19.50 for a bud lite and Miller lite still seems like a lot. Seems shady to me
Food is good. But we had a pretty bad experience at the place. We went to watch the game so they sat us in the room with TVs. We were not warned that after the game, the room becomes a club. We were kicked out of room in the middle of the meal by security. Almost walked out of the place because it took us so long to get the check.I think the Village Club is a more apt name. If thats what youre looking for, then you shouldnt have trouble like us. Otherwise, the atmosphere is anything but chill, as one person mentioned. Very loud.
They have an amazing happy hour menu everyday from 3-9pm. Their wings with the house hot sauce were cooked perfectly and the mozzarella sticks were good as well. They could use some more work on their drinks. Bloody Mary isn’t supposed to be sweet. The well margaritas were almost sickly sweet. It might’ve just been the bartender(s). Overall good atmosphere. Can smoke in the outside bar area.
What an awesome experience. We showed up at 9 on a Friday night and just had the best time. Great crowd. Great music. Affordable drinks.
We stopped by at this place on our way back to our hotel. Thankfully there wasnt much wait and they had live music. The food was goodish, (most of the items were lacking salt). We ended up ordering the blackened checken sandwich (meh), Mac and cheese (better) , calamari (needs a better sauce) Jack Daniel Burger (the best), sweet potato fries (needs better seasoning). On the contrary, the service was excellent, and our waitress was fantastic. I would give 3 stars for food, but the service was a great bonus!
Honestly, it was just a last minute decision to grab a quick meal here since it was Prom Night, and all the young graduates were out in their ceremonial evening formal wear, & it was going to be a 3 hour wait to eat anywhere. As we walked by the waitress said shed seat us now, Windy was super cool & hospitable.I have to tell you, everyone in our party of 5 was pleasantly surprised, our meals were great. We had, BBQ Rack of Ribs, Chicken Wings, Onions Rings, Fries, & Hamburgers representatives at our table by the outdoor promenade. It was tasty and a good time was had by all.
Great food and atmosphere and prices very reasonable. Jack Daniels 1/2 lbr and fish tacos were delicious. Definitely would come back.
Terrible service waited over 2 hours for dinner and each time they brought food it was wrong, drinks were wrong, manager had major attitude, no customer service whats so ever. . Totally dissapointed for a main venue in Palm Springs. Just a fail all around.
So it was hard to rate based off the fact that it is great for a bar but not for the food. There is an outside and inside bar with many beer choices. They play live music (the band this evening was REALLY GOOD) and on the weekends have a club like area on a second floor. There are many TVs so I would say it would be good for sports. The food service even considering that it was late so it is in more bar mood than restaurant, I was not impressed. The time to order, get drinks and get food and then the check was way too long. The food itself was nothing more than bar food not bad but not memorable. So if you are going out for drinks or the game or some great live music come here but I would suggest to eat somewhere else.
Came here in 2016 on a recommendation and had a good experience. Came by in 2017 but the place was temporarily closed. Was looking forward to being back yesterday but, was disappointed. Specifically told the hosted we wanted to watch the football game. She sat us outside and we could see/listen to the game but that was short lived as she sat us right in front of the live band. Game sound went off, band started to play (this was about 6PM). We hunted down our waitress, paid the bill and left to find a pub to watch, and listen too, the game at. Food was ‘ok’, drinks were good, wish I caught our waitress’ name as she was trying to hustle and deserves credit. Our disappointing experience wasn’t her fault.
One of the better places downtown to enjoy the nightlife and a good mix of people young and old. Ample patio space, reasonably priced drinks, and a casual low-pressure atmosphere keeps me coming back. Whether its the weekend or a Tuesday night, you can expect a decent sized crowd here as well as dancing.
Please don’t eat here if you are a person of color or lgbtqa. My partner and I went there , we are new to town. We waited at the hosted stand for 12 minutes as we watched 4 employees engage in conversation and not engage us. Out of frustration we eventually sat down , only for waitress to approach us and tell us they were expecting a big party and we needed to move. We complied. When switched table the same waitress threw one menu on the table on the table and bluntly stated “we can share”. At this point we were so offended we left. If you work for your money and respect yourself this is not the place to eat.
Staff never came around and no one even knew who was our server. We sat for ever and no one acknowledged us. Terrible!!!
Made a reservation here for 7 of my girlfriends at 8:30pm. We order some drinks and food. 2 of our friends were running late due to flight delayed. They show up just after 9pm and have to now pay cover charge, even though we have a reservation and their food is sitting on the table waiting for them. We called the bouncer over and he responds very aggressively stating that this is a night club and that they in fact do need to pay cover charge… meanwhile the place is DEAD. We had not ordered any drinks, only food and not one server came back to us. When the bouncer came to talk to us we told him we couldn’t find a server and he responded with “this is not my department” awful service all along .. bouncers are very aggressive and talk down to women . Avoid this women. From someone who’s worked in hospitality for years and years I would please ask that anyone avoid this place at night.
This place has the worst service. I witnessed people coming in after me, getting served first. The waiter did not give me any silverware or napkins. I had to ask the customers sitting next to me if I could have one they did not use. I had tea with my nachos and the waiter gave me the smallest glass possible. I just came in to watch the playoffs and am having a bad experience!!!
Love the remodel and the friendly new staff. Looks like they have rekindled a good location! Having a friendly and Lazer focused staff , has really changed the vibe. They also are helping make the pandemic more bearable, with a safe and sanitary environment 👍👍👍👍👍👍
The food here was pretty good for bar food. The service was good. What sucked were their Happy Hour drink menu. I had a $6 Cosmopolitan that was more sugar water than anything in a tiny martini glass. When other bars in the town have similar prices but better tasting and larger drinks. So I switched to wine for $5.75 but I sent it back as it was not served in a wine glass but probably an aperitif glass. So finally I got a draft beer for $5 which came in its proper glass but was more expensive than drafts at other bars during the Happy Hour time. If you are going to be a bar please know how to make drinks, serve them in their proper glasses at comparable prices to other bars.
The place and environment was pretty good. The one thing that I didnt like was one particular waitress. We sat there and watched her walk pass us and wait on everyone that sat down after us. We even tried to get her attention but she gave us that ☝gesture. My fiancee had to get up and go find someone to help us.
Not a great place for food. Truffle Mac and cheese was horrible, looked like a soup, taste was horrible. Taquitos were inedible. That being said, service was great. Greeted and seated promptly, place had a great atmosphere. Great place for drinks, we stayed just for wine. I’d skip out on the food.
WARNING!! CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS!I had a rude waitress who inflated the bill of one guy at our table by giving him lots of extras without telling him there would be a charge for them. Then she split the check evenly among all of us at the table without even asking! When we told her that we wanted separate bills, she rudely told us well you should have said that before I rang it up.I kept my receipt. When I got my credit card statement, I saw that she added extra tip for herself. THIS IS STEALING!!! Think of how many times that youve been out to restaurants and trust that the merchant is charging you correctly?I only got runaround when I called the manager to report this. I will never. EVER. eat here again!! Keep your wallets in your pockets when walking by this place!
Such a fun, happening place with good food, a fun ambience, and music. Whats better? Theres no cover if you make a reservation earlier; and even if you must pay a cover, its pretty reasonable - 10 bucks a head. Theres 2 levels - 1 with live music and a dance/DJ music on the second level. Definite win-win. Where the food is concerned, as vegetarians, our group doesnt usually have too many options. This place has a few, likewise, but I love it when theyre all yummy. MUST-HAVE: jalapeno poppers. Its a great place to hit, for a happening evening.
Very cool spot the atmosphere is top notch
This is the only bar in a night of bar hopping that made us pay a cover ($10) and it was definitely not worth it. The vibe here sucked. I was with a group of friends and we were hit on by a series of creepier than average guys. There are two levels of dance floors, but both were very sparsely populated (there were literally only three people dancing upstairs), especially for a Friday night. The only thing I liked about this place was that there was an outdoor bar and corresponding large seating area. Even then, the drinks were only average at best.TLDR; I would not recommend this overpriced, boring bar.
Waitress disappeared for 30 minutes. When she came back she tried to pull the thank you for your patience line. When I said we had been waiting for our bill for over 20 minutes, she said do you see any other servers here?. How tf is that MY problem? Poor customer service . Ghetto establishment
After staying in a very high-end hotel and having to request two wine glasses, its refreshing to come to an establishment that exceeds ones expectations. The breakfast burrito and south of the border omelette were outstanding and the bill was more than reasonable ($27 for two drinks and two breakfast entrees). Its not a posh place, but you wont be disappointed with the food. The service was excellent; and I suspect that the pub had way more customers than it normally expected.
Dropped in for an appetizer and check out the band. I have never heard such a great 3 piece band! Great entertainers, fantastic musicians and a great selection of tunes. Had the place hoppin. Next time I come to town, I will go just to check out this band again.
Wow. So what a weird place. In the middle of the strip sits this pub. Menu looked alright and we (2 adults + 2 kids around 10) wanted casual so choice made. We sat outside and waited a few min for a server ... nothing extraordinarily long given it was Thursday night about 7. But as we waited we watched 2 groups of 4 get up and leave, obviously unhappy. When our server showed, with a tray full of drinks, she no longer had anyone to give them to.As she took our drinks order - and offered us complimentary ones from her tray! - we realized the issue: if you’re an obnoxious local drunk you hang out here. A group of about 8 people ranging from 20’s to 50’s were loudly dropping f bomb after f bomb at the bar while the manager seemed oblivious.Bottom line: unless this place decides it doesn’t want to cater to these idiot locals it makes no sense to offer high end beers or decent food (we really liked our burger, monte cristo and pulled pork and it all came fast) as everyone else should/will stay away.
This is a pretty cool place to come to! I had a good time and it was alot of people last night! I really enjoyed the band aswell! The place is two levels...3 areas that play different music...so there is plenty of room here! You can chill inside or outside on the patios too! I would come here again!
Tasty burgers and fries, friendly service and lots of beers on tap. Reasonably priced and very laid-back compared to other spots in Palm Springs. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Note that indoor area turns into a dance bar around 10ish on weekends and vibe definitely gets a bit rowdier after that.
Solid bar with a good crowd, the music was loud and jamming but there was distortion in the quality from feed back. The drink prices were fair. Could use some more space for lounging outside away from the music. Lastly, there was a smaller bar upstairs with another smaller room for dancing, witch is nice if you not digging the rest of the scene.
I am a Local in Palm Springs and Village Pub has always been my Favorite Place to Relax, Eat, Drink. The Staff there are Awesome and the Food is Outstanding. If you are a Smoker you are allowed to Smoke in the Sport Bar area only. I just love the New Remodel and the Colors are just Perfect for that Atmosphere. Thanks Village Pub.
The BEST place in Palm Springs to party! They have a live band playing (rock) and one dance floor on the second floor. A nice lounge are towards the back. Great place! Highly recommend!
My booth was in front of it for Pride week event.great food drinks and music, cool place.
Nice small place, terrible hostess and servers service. People leaving after waiting outside in the sun, hostess lost somewhere else. Playing 2 different songs outload at the same time. Super dirty restrooms (cleaner at any gas station), server guys walking by ignoring guests, not friendly at all. Host makes silverware roll ups right there at the host stand (before dissapearing) without washing hands. I wonder whos the manager or where does he/she is at. I do not recommend this place.
Always a go to for us when we visit Palm Springs. This is the first stop after getting off the plane and definitely frequented throughout our stay. Drinks are great, music, food and of course we have our favorite bar staff. VP should be a must on everyones list. We are sad that the opening hours are later. Only downside.
Good beer selection on draft. Service is good before 8.pm. The cover charge for after 9.pm is a little step. With all the other restaurants and bars on Palm Cyn why pay that cover charge. Beer is beer when all they have is the same old stuff. Sometimes the bands are pretty good.
They refused to wait on us in fact, waitress was heard saying she was on break. They just stared so we left. You lost our bisness permanently!
When my sister and I approached the front desk for a table, the guy was watching football on tv and took a while to acknowledge us! He told us to seat ourselves. When entering the restaurant, we were asked if we were ordering dinner, which was not clear why. We said yes and sat down. It was 15 minutes before I had to ask for help to order and watched as a few waiters decided who was going to wait on us. We asked for ribs, which was a special Thursday to Sunday. It was Sunday and was told they weren’t serving ribs. The waiter went to the kitchen to ask and came back and said they were. I asked for champagne and again I was waiting for my drink. I watched the waiter go to the manager and talked for a while and the manager came back and said, they were out of champagne and ribs! A whole 1/2 an hour went by before we were notified. I told the manager how we had to ask for help to be served and was told they had ribs and felt that they didn’t want to serve us at all. The worse service I’ve ever had. We had to leave and go somewhere else for dinner!
After MANY years, we went to check it out again. What a disappointment!Sat a couple of tables in on the patio right hand side.Glass walls dirty smeared from hand prints all along. Floors also dirty.Toilet 1 Urinal and one stall for all these people filthy disgusting and that in the season??We were bothered by sewage smell off and on, it took away every possible positive point we wanted to add. I as a local would neither go back nor refer to it.Bow, pricing is good for Beers Imports $9.75 Food is on the expansive side. Pizza is on par with Circle K, Iceberg Salad was good due to the Blue Cheese dressing which I actually like. Service was ok, they were slammed, wished our waitress would have been able to smile.
The only reason I have it 1 star was because I couldnt put a negative star. A friend & I went recently and it wasnt a good visit. The place was dead, no ppl. Bartender was rude, we were sitting at the bar and he took our stools away. Didnt apologize but just told us he needed them. So we sat at a table & the waitress was rude as well. Music sucked, old slow music. Never coming back here.
Delicious wings. Have lots of beers on tap. TVs for sports, indoor and outdoor seating available. LIVE music is great.
I went to Village Pub for a friends birthday and it was a lot of fun. I really liked the multiple bars and areas. The first floor has an indoor area on the first floor with bar and live band, and upstairs area with hip hop and pop deejay. There is also a patio on the second floor, and a terrace with bar and music. The place had good vibes and decent drinks.
Fries are very good. Drinks not really tho cheap liquor in mixed drinks and expensive. Good vibes though in good location. Win some lose some I guess
Had the most afwul dining experience of our lives here. 3 of 6 people at our table had parts of our meals missing, wait staff never came around, and we sat around for nearly an hour after finishing our meals waiting for a slice of cheesecake and our bill. In the mean time, several other tables who arrived after us had come and gone. Food was also very bland and average. The only redeeming factor was the security guard who had to pick up everybody elses slack and begin to collect dishes, and deliver bills. Nice location, but disappointing experience.
Music awesome! But watch ou for your drinks. They picked 2 of my drinks up when I was dancing. One was half full, no napkin on top. The second, I put a napkin on top and was 3/4 full! Drinks are too expensive to have them tossed! I used to cocktail waitress and wouldnt take drinks unless they were empty or I checked with customers.
Sat for 15 minutes unserved. Ordered two food items and only one was delivered. Dont really know what to say. I dont like being critical but then I saw the sign when you enter and youre supposed to order on their APP? This is crazy. People come from all over to be treated in Palm Springs and their willing to Spend $$$.
Ah, the Pub. Definitely not the locals first choice but we all seem to end up there, and often. Open late, decent food, friendly staff (surprising for the amount of people they serve), and always a jumping dance floor. This is a must if you want the full Palm Springs experience.
I have been here many times. The food is good for bar food. The prices are pretty good too. I am not to found of how loud it is inside but the atmosphere outside is awesome! I really enjoy he service when I go because they are REAL people and still good service time.
I dont know why everyone is so nitty picky this place is so good and their crazy leprechaun burger with avocado is so delicious! Its a cool place to hang out and have a drink or to be with family and enjoy a good time. I recommend this to everyone also tried these delicious pizza fries and tenders! So good
This place is great for literally any kind of occasion! Sports! The food! The drinks! Birthdays! Even bachelorette parties! They have live bands playing and DJs in the mix every night! Management is great and owners are awesome! Definitely a place to visit if you are in the Palm Springs area.
1 star for the cool outdoor/indoor atmosphere. 1 star for the band that plays there on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. I dont go there very often anymore. The bathrooms are filthy. The security are the rudest bunch of misfits at any establishment Ive ever been too. Whats worse is they charge more for a beer on tap than the Ritz Carlton in Rancho Mirage. I almost think they charge according to how dumb you might seem to them. I could have sworn the lady serving the beers outside was charging $7.50 for a beer and when I ordered a beer from the bartender inside I was charged $9.50 for the same beer. Are the bartenders really charging an extra $2.00 and then backing it out as tip? Who knows. What everyone would probably agree on is $9.50 is a HUGE rip off for a tap 805 that quite honestly tastes like a year old keg anyway. Its bitter! The manager talked to me but wasnt any help. The problem with this place is theyre taking their customers for granted. Not cool! Theyll be in trouble soon for their stupid security! They tried bullying my boyfriend who put them in their place with words rather then pushing people around. Its sad because it used to be a lot better of a place.
Door staff need training on responding to customers when I ask why photographing ID , didn’t answer me or thank you , no smile nothing - that’s just rude !! Bar staff weren’t much better when I asked what was in a cocktail pretended to not understand!! Staff looked miserable, plus side music was good . 😑 this was not our first visit so was disappointed with the service .
This place has got everything. Great food (The leprechaun sandwich is amazing!), dance club, outdoor patio, sports bar, a DJ and live music outside. Theres even an upper floor for busy nights and private parties. Definitely one of the top spots in Palm Springs.
Only 3 stars since what I went in for which were the ribs and they were out. My order was not as I requested it but was given a fraction of a discount for the inconveniences. Many TVs for your entertainment and the ladies serving where great.
To bad. Had. Big sign. Outfront that said kids menu.$5 So I assumed. It was kid friendly.Sat down. And first thing I see is the menu gets flipped over and the $5 kids was happy hour only. At its $9 now. Should of got up. But I sat already with my family. So I gave it the benefit of me not seeing the fine print. Anyway. I should of known it was a bar/ nightclub. Not a family friendly restaurant. So we ordered. My 6 year old ate a slice of the kids pizza. And then said he didn’t like it. So o assumed picky. Eater. So I took a bite. Ya. It’s still raw the dough. But at that point. I didn’t really care to stay any longer. I said check please and this pizza is not cooked my kid couldn’t eat it.But it seems. The waitress. Didn’t care. Still charged me $9 for it. Irritating. So I told her , the sign convinced me into $5 kids meals. While I had a $19 salad. And go figure it’s $9 for a undercooked pizza. Then you make me pay for a pizza my 6 year old couldn’t eat. Never the less. Get a tummy ache if he did.The place is dirty. But it’s a club / bar. I should of known. By the outside. It wasn’t a family. Place. My fault. Next time we probably go to Johnny rockets. Where the staff is trained and the chefs can cook.Ps. I didn’t even try to use the bathroom there. The thought of all the club goers last night using it. Made me cringe 😂
Its ok food. Service could be betterHad dinner on a week night. Not particularly busy, but the staff couldnt be bothered to clear the plates from the table. Ambiance is pretty chill. Nice patio.
Went in for lunch. It wasnt that busy but if it was there were plenty of employees around. It took about 20 minutes to get our drinks, then another 25 minutes to find our server to order lunch. Because we were starving, we decided to order chips and salsa to hold us over until we got our lunch. The chips and salsa took about 15 minutes, and there were pieces of sausage mixed in our chips! (No, not a bonus, burnt pieces of sausage) The server didnt know anything about the menu and the food runner was a punk. I ordered the Piggy Blue hamburger which comes with gorgonzola, but there was none. Everything was pretty bland. There was a guy dressed like a chef, that came by when we just received our food, who was fantastic. The entertainment was awesome, 2 guys on the patio. I would go back to see them, but wouldnt order food. Oh, my brother got tired of waiting to order a second drink, so went to the bar. He was charged double the price for his cocktail. Hum?
We went here because it was the only place open later than 11 on a Sunday. The food choices were very typical but limited pub food. The only local beers available were IPAs, so the selection was limited. The Christmas decorations and warm fore were the main saving graces.
This place was INCREDIBLE. I went two nights in a row and loved it. The drinks were amazing, the food was mind-blowing, and the staff were friendly and so kind!!! Will definitely be a holiday tradition!!!
Wish I could give zero stars, if you are military don’t bother coming to this venue, they will not take your ID, and will kick you out, embarrassing experience , I would expect a little more respect for our nations finest.
Went on a Friday night with live music and it was great! Drinks were good, and the vibe was very nice. Outside had heat lamps so you didnt get too cold.
Came in for karaoke and rocked out with some friends! Decently priced drinks and fairly quick service!
Parking is rough so get there early. It is worth the trouble. Great vendors from food to clothing. I will definitely come back.
Service from waitress was good. Food was really good. 3 stars cause shots came from bar in DIRTY lipstick stained glasses. Management corrected on my bill. Yes i would return
The food was fantastic. My 3 star review is because of lack of cleanliness in the bathrooms and COVID precautions.Palm Springs is one of the few places I will go during COVID because mask wearing is enforced and most people use common sense and follow guidelines. Unfortunately my server at this restaurant was not one of these people. He wore a loose bandana that did not cover his face. A group he knew walked by and he gave everyone a hug and a handshake, just before refilling my water, and he unnecessarily picked up my glass while filling it.Three bathrooms were out of toilet paper. I gave up and just went home.
By far my favorite place to chill out after work, get together with friends, celebrate, or hang with the PIC... all the bartenders Melissa, Justin, Bobby, Victor, Cecil, Patrick, Mike, Barry are GREAT! Being a local its nice to walk in somewhere where everyone makes a point of stopping to say hi even if youre not in their bar or section and thats one thing Ive always loved! Cynthia, one of the servers, is always there and even on the worst or busiest days is always sporting a smile and working her butt off with her happy, sassy demeanor that really makes you feel at home! Its so refreshing to see how hard they all work as a team, from management all the way down to the bar backs who bust their butts to help the bartenders keep up when things are busy. You can tell the recently promoted general manager, Lance (previously a bartender), genuinely cares about whats best for the business and it shows in the improvements at the Pub, as well as the attitudes of the employees and regulars! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Theres always a bad apple in every bunch but overall the Pub is a great place to chill or party in Palm Springs ♡♡♡
The food was terrible and the service was horrible. Stay away from this place if you are in the area. Many great places in palm springs to visit. This is not one of them.
The staff earned the 5 star r a ting. Very friendly, fun to talk with, and provided great service. Pub food was good and a nice band playing. Already plan to return.
Sat down for lunch during slow afternoon. Horrible service. Server did not listen to a single word we said. Food did not come out together; order was incorrect. At least the burger was a “C-“ at best. Definitely heading back never.
I love this place! It’s so fun and full of good energy always have a great time when I come to visit and the food is delicious. The waitress is such a sweetheart I believe her name is Marlene. Definitely recommend!
So crowded... Floors slippery. bathroom were dirty. There was spiled drinks every where you walked.. Your shoes were sticking to the floor.. Just not clean
We were seated fast but then waited. Server made eye contact but still didnt come take order. Once served it was fine. Only in for drink.
