Joshua is 10 stars! His beautiful, soft, balanced, loving energy elevated my experience to the highest level! He definitely has a technique of his own that was a perfect fit for me. I love his choice of the massage oils and he had the most comfortable massage table I have experienced! After a very poor experience with another employee for a massage the month before, Elora was amazing. One of the best massages I have had. She will be my “go to” at Massage Envy from now on.

I have seen Mike several times now. He always understands what areas I need focus on and which need to be touched more sensitively. I felt wonderful during and post-massage amd highly recommend Mike.

Nicole is amazing!!!! She does a fantastic job every tine I see her. 90 minutes is not enough. Not because she doesn’t do a great job but because she does such a fabulous job I just don’t want it to end and have to go back to all that life has waiting for me. She does such an amazing job at helping me relax which is so hard for me to do. She gives the best face and scalp massages I’ve ever had!! I hate telling about how great she is because she’s already really hard to get booked with but she’s amazing and deserves the credit.

I’ve been to Kennedy several times for my facials and always come out feeling amazing! She’s wonderful.

My massage was great. My facial would have been, but the bed kept slipping down. The attendant literally had to fight with it, while doing a great job taking care of me

I was in a lot of pain. Whiplash injury to my neck. Dave had the perfect touch - firm but gentle. It greatly improved my pain and discomfort. My Chiropractor approves of continued visits, so I purchased the 6-month membership. Very excited to return.

They offer reminder calls about appointments, which is a great feature of the Massage Envy experience. Checking in and checking out from appointments is a quick and easy process. Parking at the facility is easy with the large parking lot.FIRST REVIEW: Massage was great. Some staff lacked professionalism. The woman at the front desk addressed me as girl. Again and again. Take your time, Girl. No problem, Girl. Maybe its an age gap thing, but I found it offputting. The massage therapist was chatty, which I DID NOT LIKE. Staff is helpful. The space is clean and accessible.

Kennedy never misses with her facials and great customer service. She knows my skin and always makes me feel comfortable during the facial process.

Ethan does a precise, medium pressure massage that targets areas of concern (for me neck and shoulders). I struggle with chronic illness and associated chronic pain. I appreciate finding a way to address pain that does not involve medication. Ethan does does a great job.

Details are paid for 1 yr for massages at the hyde park location. Wife was treated badly for 3 months, the management was bad and they keep canceling. So had my wifes membership transferred to kenwood location. Everything seemed ok till she started getting bad service there. I called plenty of times to fix the problem. So there wasnt no solution. So I cancelled the membership. Then they kept running my card over and over again. When I told them not to. My wife had 8 sessions to go! Now down to 4 sessions.all of sudden they cant get her in. Or when she drives 25min to get there they cancel right in front of her face! So now on 12/10 she had appointment, drove all the way to the place for them to cancel again..question where is the phone call at saying dont come because we are canceling the appointment..I have a real issue with this .you pay alot of money for a service and you get treated wrongly! Then I call to find out whats going on and the girl upfront named Sarah hangs up the phone not one ,not twice but 3 times on me! And here is the kicker what does it mean when they say they dont deal with your kind! So nowI will be calling my attorney in the morning. And I suggest you read the other poor reviews and make a decision if you really want to spe d your money with a place with a 4.0 review or a place with a 5.0 review like Grace and Grit Spa they are a little more expensive but they do what they have to do. And yes we are minorities/Afro-American and we spend our money for good service not bad service like massage envy

Ive been going to Josh in Kenwood for over a year. He is amazing and the main the reason I continue to come back. Thank you Josh for always having me feel amazing. I always feel like Im on cloud 9 leaving out.

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my massage. I was gifted a massage and when I was able to schedule it it was easy to get in. I was told the person who I was scheduled with was a medium pressure, but it felt like she just moisturized my skin with lotion. Definitely not a massage in my opinion. I could have gotten past that, but the building itself was going through renovations so you can hear all the work going on outside of the office. Not to mention every time someone who walk past your room, you could hear the hallway conversations. All this to say, it was not the best. I did not leave relaxed. I also did not leave feeling like my muscles were relaxed. I let the front desk know when I was checking out my displeasure of the actual massage, but instead of hearing my concern, they instead suggested I just get a deeper pressure masseuse next time. I am just stunned it was even a conversation I needed to have. I have had plenty of massages before and never have a felt like I wasnt actually given a massage when I left.

Josh is a fabulous massage therapist. He knows how to get your muscles back in place and working properly. He is my go to therapist at ME.

My massage was pretty good, I was definitely relaxed. My biggest complaint is that I was supposed to have an hour massage and it for whatever reason ended about 20 minutes early. I was a little disoriented because I started to doze off and when I asked the front desk if it was a full hour, she politely replied yes. But I was walking out of the doors 55 minutes after my appointment time, and I didn’t get taken back until about 10 minutes after appointment time as well. Was a little annoyed a full hour was paid for and I know I didn’t get the full time.

I’ve been to many Massage Envy locations around the country and Avery was exceptional! Very pleasant people and atmosphere and they order late appointments to fit work schedules!

I have the annual membership for Massage Envy. Once you find a masseuse from the loads of people working there it’s a good thing. The only thing that I do not like is that they inundate you with text messages. It’s so overwhelming and that it drowns Actual notifications for your scheduled visits. I have missed appointments because I get a boatload of useless text messages. I’ve even called to request that they not send those messages and they’ve told me that they cannot turn it off. If they turn it off then I won’t get the appointment reminders.It would also be nice if you have a 90 minute massage that when you’re late they would call and say get here so that you don’t lose all of your money for the 90 minute massage. But how about just not sending the useless text messages so that you save messaging as appointment reminders.But it’s clean and they offer a wide variety of services.

This has easily been my favorite Massage Envy in the Greater Cincinnati area. The staff has excellent customer service and they go above and beyond with making me feel valued there. Not to mention they give top notch massages each time.. I would recommend them to anybody!!

I’m so glad I found Ethan at massage envy in kenwood! I initially signed up at the Colerain location and had more than one unpleasant encounter so I started going to Hyde park and Kenwood. Both locations are phenomenal! Ethan is at the kenwood location now and I only book with him. He is the primary reason I didn’t cancel my membership. The staff there are so welcoming, friendly and professional. Highly recommend kenwood location and Ethan!

Evelyn gave one of the best facials I’ve ever had…knowledgeable and informative about the products and in evaluating my skins needs!!

BEWARE!!! They retain your card info from previous bookings. While making a new reservation they do not tell you about the cancellation policy which is.... They charge 50% for same day cancellations!!! way too excessive!! For this reason I will never use Massage Envy and I would recommend people to avoid the location at Kenwood in specific. My husband made the booking under my name and did not provide any credit card details. When we were about to cancel, they were going to put the charge on my personal card which I might have given to them way back in the day. The point being, some random person can call in, make a reservation under your name and you will get charged for it if you dont show up. I dont trust the security of this process and how it works.The receptionist we spoke to was rude and instead of calmly explaining why we were being charged, she chose to argue with us. So, very bad customer service to top it off! Company should enforce their employees to clearly communicate the cancellation policy and not retain sensitive customer information. Otherwise it just seems like a scam to your customers.

Run far away. My first massage was great. So great that I signed up for their monthly program. That’s when I was rope-a-doped. They cancelled my first appointment with two hours notice then a month later my second citing family emergencies. I take vacation days for this and have two toddlers myself - I’m never going to be able to use a membership if I burn my vacation time only to be told last minute each time they can no longer fit me in to something I’ve scheduled weeks in advance.

At first the place looks decent..front desk if not very professional, massage therapist was okay but literally smoked weed right before walking in for my massage. I wouldve gotten up but I felt bad that I was already in the room. I will not be going back here unfortunately.

Terrible customer service. I was mandated to work and therefore my wife was unable to make her appointment. Called in the morning to reschedule and didn’t get a call back until a half hour before the appointment, now have to pay full price for service not rendered.

The customer service at the front desk was exceptional! Jason is a great massage therapist, he is very communicative and ensures everything is done to your liking. I would highly recommend both Jason and this location to anyone interested in relieving some tension or stress!

It’s not the massage therapist it’s scheduling they kept canceling my appointments which I was a member will steal am I still have a couple of more sessions left, but try to take the sessions I already paid for when they can’t rescheduling me don’t care for the owner thank god i found a black owned company that I haven’t had any problems with

Great experience and would recommend if you’re needing a massage for relaxation or therapy.

There is a lot of inconsistency at Massage Envy, but the trick is to find the right person. I went through three therapists before finding Tessie and I will now not go to anyone else. She understands my needs, is pleasant and professional, isnt chatty (a big no-no with massage for me), starts on time and devotes her entire attention to valuing me as a client. The front desk staff is definitely on the younger side, but I am usually recognized when I arrive and treated very professionally. This is a no frills type of massage place - no fancy robes or the like - but for the money - and if you find the right therapist - it is definitely worth the time.

I dont often write bad reviews, however this deserves one. I have been mistreated by the front desk staff an managers on numerous occasions and Im tired of it. Very short tempered, and they act like scheduling an appointment is a chore and a favor!! Absolutely will not renew my membership using up what I have and Im out ! Previous manager was horrific. The therapists always do their best and do a great job--and I feel bad because its the front office that makes you not want to come back , and thats bad for business.

I have been going to this location for about two years with no issues. The massage therapist I’ve been seeing for the last six months is amazing. Her name is Crystal and I hope she’s there forever! No one has ever gotten the knot out of my right shoulder except for her and it has been an issue for about 20 years. She listens and is very specific and deliberate in her treatment. I would highly recommend this location and this therapist.

If their goal was to keep me in their store for 2.5 hours feeling absolutely uncomfortable, they did a fantastic job.I booked this appointment because Ive been under a lot of stress and this was supposed to help, but instead I found myself sitting in a waiting room getting berated for longer than the actual massage I received. This was my first time getting a massage at a Massage Envy and I can confidently say I will never return.My appointment was at 6:45pm and I arrived at 6:20pm because I was told I would need to fill out paperwork. The girl at the front desk checked me in and provided no other information or instruction. I asked her if there was anything I needed to do and all she did was take me back to the waiting room, again with no information. I sat there until 6:55pm (10 mins after my appointment time and 30 seconds from walking to the front desk to ask what was going on) when another front desk guy came back, apologized for the mix up and gave me the paperwork I was supposed to fill out. He went back to the front desk and the next thing I hear is another staff member very loudly arguing with him about my attire not being suitable for the stretch therapy and refusing to provide the service. She then game back to the waiting room and rudely informed me that we had a serious issue and that I would need to change into scrubs. I was planning on changing before the appointment but got out of work late and was unable. I would have been more than happy to change into scrubs (or even go down the street and buy a change of clothes considering I sat in the waiting room for 30+ mins) or adjust my services had any of this information been communicated to me upon my arrival. After agreeing to change into scrubs, I walked to the front desk to give them my paperwork. At this time, the stretch therapist informed me that she was already behind on clients for the day and did not want to do my stretch therapy and suggested I reschedule it for the next day. I decided not to do it at all because at this time I was tired of dealing with all of this and honestly did not want to be in the same room as this woman. They convinced me to do a 90 min massage instead since it was the same price as what I was originally planning to pay. I honestly shouldnt have agreed because I literally wasted a lot money and and my entire night on this place for a mediocre at best experience. As I mentioned, my appointment was at 6:45pm. My massage started at 7:30pm. The message therapist was extremely skilled and did a fantastic job at tailoring the massage to some of my problem areas. Unfortunately, the other staff members I had dealt with had ruined the experience for me and I had a lot of trouble relaxing and really enjoying the massage itself. The guy at the front desk did give me a free 30 min upgrade on my next massage to try and help smooth things over, which I will not be using because Ive already wasted enough time and money on this place that a free upgrade on an already overpriced service for the quality of experience is not at all something I am interested in.This is the first review Ive ever written, thats how strongly I feel about this experience. They are in the service of helping people and instead I left feeling more stressed and upset than I was when I arrived.

Great massages! At one point, I worked here so I knew this place really well. Some of the massage therapists that work here have the biggest heart. Since people dont often speak to their massage therapists during a session, they may or may not know that the person giving them a massage as a heart of gold. :)

I have been going to this location for over 6 months and every visit has been professional and exceptional. From the front desk team members to the most awesome massage therapist in the entire universe Geoff Hoebbel, I highly recommend this location despite the few bad reviews. The facility is clean, the staff is professional, and Geoff is medically trained, so again, I have had nothing but an excellent experience. Thank you Geoff and Massage Envy Kenwood!

I spoke with Amber a few moments ago, I cancelled my membership and went to the JCC which offers massage therapist, gym and other spa services for less than a membership at this place. I had received a new credit card due to some fraudulent charges and it was a shock to me today when Amber called asking for my new credit card because we spoke 2 weeks ago and she said she cancelled my membership. 15 minutes after my conversation with her she calls my other half and asked her for her credit card info. This place is a scam and a half. Amber is the ring leader in this dumpster fire circus and I hope she reads this. Do not reply with a generic message and ask me to call you so we can sort this out. I’ve tried calling and this is how you treat people. Don’t join this place, you’ll immediately regret it.

I just wanted to write and say thank you to Katherine, Carolyn, and the rest of this amazing staff. Ive had a tough couple of weeks, and Im not one to treat myself often, but I needed it today. I feel so much better and much more calm. They know the details. :) Thank you for relaxing me, giving me healing, calming me down, educating me, and just making me feel better. From the therapists, to the facialist, to the front staff, to the manager, thank you. Oh! And thanks to the Obage rep too! Darian! So amazing! I cant wait to come back. These people are nothing but crooks and don’t care about the well being of their clients. I had major hip surgery that is a 6 month recovery and could not get massages and they said they are going to continue charging me until I get a doctors excuse. So I got a doctors excuse. Then they claim it isn’t a good enough excuse to cancel my membership. So now I am being charging $70 a month for something I can’t do right now because of my health and they do not care. They are just out for your money do not give these people business.

I would avoid this location. They were not completely truthful about pricing. I wanted to buy a gift card for a massage, but didnt because of the price they quoted. The girl working the front counter didnt seem to know what she was doing. If you want to go to massage envy I would recommend the Colerain location. They were more knowledgeable, friendly and honest. I sent my mom to Colerain over Kenwood.

RUN AWAY FROM HERE. I have been here and they had no music and it was the worst experience ever. They have cancelled an appointment on me, and recently my FSA card changed and I missed a payment. Mind you, I have 10 PAID massage that I have not used and I was told that I cant use them until I pay for the month that I was in. The massages are good to great depending on who you get, but thE management and owners are nothing more than a bunch of money hungry snobs at this location.

My first time ever getting a massage an my massage therapist was excellent, I will be back to see her🙂 One of the women at the front desk who I dont remember what her name is, was extremely fake an rude. When I gave my tip to my therapist she smirked out loud which I thought was extremely unprofessional an rude. Other than that my over all was good.

I have received facials and massages at this location over the course of 6+ months. I leave happy every time. I receive the full amount of time and attention for every session and the staff treats me like a valued guest. I highly recommend this location to all of my friends and family.

This place is a joke. My husband and I paid for a couples massage and started a membership at the conclusion of the massage... I go back 2 weeks later to get my first massage of the membership and they charged me $48. They tried to state that my membership wont be active until June 8, which is not what I was told when signing up for the membership, I was told the membership began immediately. Cant wait to get my doctors note to cancel my membership.

Cant decide if it is an incompetent owner or lack of respect. They overcharge my account and wait to give me money back once they do they write a bad check and refused to pay the fee that my bank charges for their bad check. Absolutely love my therapist I cannot stand dealing with a staff that doesnt fulfill their obligations when they are in the wrong. Time to take this matter to a higher level. Never again will I go to this location.

I went in for a 1 hr massage due to start at 7pm. I arrived 15 minutes early to fill out the paperwork and such, and was taken to the waiting room. Where I waited, and waited until 7:20 when my therapist finally got me. According to the clock in the room, it was 7:21 when she left me to get ready. After the massage, which was just okay (Ive had way better), she told me she was done and left the room. I immediately looked at the clock which said 8:01. With 20/60 minutes cut out of my massage I told the girl at the front (who had to be a high schooler) that I didnt receive my full hour massage. After all, if they are going to cut 1/3 of my time, they should cut 1/3 of the price. However, the high schooler just say oh, thats too bad, would you like to become a member with us? I would have asked to speak to a manager, but the other two girls behind the counter were also high school girls. I would definitely would not recommend Massage Envy in Kenwood.

She called the police on me!!I called in two weeks ahead and got an appointment, also I let the lady on the phone no that I was given a promotional card for a free 60 minute massage*she told me no worries after my service I can pay however I like..ANGIE did my MASSAGE and it was WONDERFUL THANK YOU AGAIN. long sorry short after my massage I went to the counter with my card and spoke to a VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL LADY NAME BREANNA THANK SIS ✊🏽After sometime another lady came name AMBERLEY she told me my card was not valid and it’s no money on it.. I kindly told her the card say it don’t expire and it’s clearly not a gift card so I’m confused. She then mentioned that the card was used or might be fraudulent or homemade. That really made me feel hurt and a little upset about the situation However I came with little to no money unprepared that I would have to come out of pocket for this service. After explaining to her that I I didn’t have the money on me. She then tried to change my card on file. That didn’t work for her. I told her again that I didn’t have the money on me so she said well I’m calling the police! So I kindly walked over to the chair and sat down and waited.. when the police arrived she then tried to work something out smh. I was going all the way Thur court for sure with this embarrassment for sure. I just can’t believe she called the police on me, I would NEVER come back to the LOCATION..

With a wide variety of massage therapists, the Massage Envy in Kenwood is one of my favorite places to relax. Renate, Stacy and Ayesha are just 3 of the amazing therapists there. I get relief from aching joints and muscles for a very reasonable price. Try a 90 minute massage...you wont regret it!

Disappointing to have session time scheduled for 90 mins and to only receive 70 mins of massage. I was shorted 20 mins. I arrived on time for the appointment. The therapist started late and finished early. This occurrence of NOT receiving the full amount of massage time happened twice at this location. I had a massage in January and February of this year. From what I was told by management, they are working on this problem for I was not the first to bring to their attention. Expectation of service was not to my liking.

Staff: The staff is very welcoming. They make you feel very comfortable. You might n’en asked about the yearly plan when it’s time for you to pay. If you know you will make use of it, get it.Massage: very relaxing. Potentially addictive.Setting/ Place: the decoration is beautiful. The seats are confortable and relaxing. Ladies, remember to comeback with a bare face for your massage.

They claimed that after you voice your concerns through their online portal that they will contact you within 48 hours and no one contacted me. This place is a joke and they obviously just care about their perception on google reviews because they have almost the same reply from the owner about negative reviews.

I dont know if they hire a bunch of party people but when ur open Sundays better make sure your employees arent going out Saturday night drinking to call off for a couples massage. then they barely comp ted us. i wk at a really good salon and if that happened wed be giving full free service and then some. dont go buncha drinkers and call offers.

Apparently it is too difficult for them to tell you on the phone while you are booking your appointment that you must cease to use topical prescription creams a week in advance of your facial. I arrived, was asked about any topical creams I use, which I said I use every other night, and they told me I would have to re-book my appointment. Very frustrating. Also quite rude.

I absolutely loved my massage therapist. My back was out so I went to the massage and then to the chiropractor and I could walk straight after that. I love taking the holistic approach!

Terrible. Dont buy their subscription. They are have been sued. The make it very difficult to ever cancel. They will charge you and charge you. DONT GO.

Front staff is friendlier than other locations. Appointment availability is usually flexible. Facility is clean. Massage staff is highly skilled.

They canceled my appointment 45 minutes before my scheduled time. Wanted my credit card number to guarantee I would show...I should have asked for theirs!
