I had the most amazing hairdresser. Michelle is a miracle worker. She fixed my terrible bleach job that I thought would never be salvaged. The price is worth it.

Went to Cat several months ago for the first time ... I needed a haircut within a week and she was available. She listened to my description of what I thought I wanted, made a suggestion that I liked, and it turned out to be one of the best haircuts Ive ever had. Went back this week for a second time and again, had a great experience. So glad to have found her!

I called last minute for a cut and the worked me in the same day! I was seated with Nicole. She was super friendly and gave great suggestions. Also had great people skills and kept the conversation going.Went back a few days later to Nicole and had highlights done, which turned out great! Hair still feels amazing!10/10 recommend Veda salon and spa. (Give Nicole a try if you go!)

I came in today to help Fiona reach her goals as a hairstylist and to say I’m beyond amazed is an understatement! My hair hasn’t looked this good in a while, my hair was horrible and after 3 hours worth of work being a color,shampoo,cut and style my hair looks amazing! Peep the before and after! I just moved to the area. I have African American textured hair that I was looking to get colored. I had an awesome experience with Courtney Beardsley. One of the top 5 color jobs I’ve had. I will definitely go back to her again!

I went to get a hair cut after almost 18 months. I have really thick and coarse hair. Brenda cut my hair. I don’t think I’ve ever successfully gotten a haircut that suits and weighs less before. My hair is very tricky with lots of volume. At first I wasn’t sure when Brenda said she had to do the cut within 45 minutes of allotted time. I was skeptical but she cut it nicely and my hair is very manageable now. Staff is friendly and professional. If you get overstimulated by crowds, then go during the week instead of a weekend.

After talking to my hair dresser, about reviews I realized I’m the worst and haven’t left one. It took some trial and error to find someone who actually cares about hair even when it isn’t theirs! BAHA. Alika you’re the best. Best conversations, best hair dresser, you just make every visit worth coming too. Thank you for all that you do!

This salon is so nice, so friendly and so relaxing!! My hair stylist was super attentive and consulted with her superiors before taking care of me. I loved the area where you sit and let the treatment work because it was so cozy and had a great view. They offer drinks, aromatherapy and a scalp/neck massage with the wash. It didn’t take too long from start to finish and it was not expensive at all for such pampering and luxury. This is my new hair place!!

I just love Karen! My hair is a mix of wavy and straight and I have gone from stylist to stylist because no one could cut my hair like I wanted. Karen just has an intuition about how my hair lays and how to cut it. Before I would always end up going back to the salon for touch ups a couple days after my cut because Im an OCD perfectionist. This never happens with Karen; she gives me a cut I love the first time. Its a bonus that Karen is super kind and personable!

Michelle C cut my hair last minute because I had several haircuts that were just ok but no one did what I asked for. Michelle cut my hair perfectly and did exactly what I wanted. She’s amazingly talented and she is patient and a great listener. The whole salon experience was fantastic. My only regret is that I didn’t find her sooner. Run..don’t walk to see Michelle C!

Ashtin was incredible! She is super friendly and welcoming. She did a great job on my hair and was a great listener for what I wanted and gave great recommendations! I 10/10 recommend and will be back to see her again!

The girl who cut my hair was very nice, but I really dont like my cut. I asked for just a trim and the front is all choppy, she cut it in under ten minutes. My coworkers have literally gasped because it just looks bad. I guess I just expect more from a master stylist that charges $65.

I did appreciate how empathetic Shannon was in listening to my concerns and addressing the issues with the stylist that did my hair.Original Review: I was so excited about my appointment with Raquel who I was told is a level 4 on April 28th.I booked with Veda because I was tired of the atmosphere and constant delays at Beauty Bar in downtown. I booked for a highlight, in retrospect I should have book l for hair painting.Nonetheless, I asked for highlights on the crown of my head and wanted a cool/neutral color as my baylayage was growing out and I previously had thicker larger face framing done and wanted something similar but all over.Raquel was friendly and went above and beyond for me but ultimately fell short with what she did to my hair. I cried immediately when I got in the car and am still crying weeks later. She did a partial highlight that only went halfway to the middle of my head and a low light that darker my beautifully and expense previously baylayage. My hair looks streaky and blotchy with baby lights going to half the length of my hair. I paid $300+ for this lady to ruin almost a year of lighting. I wish i could post before and after photos of my hair on this review to really show you how awful my hair looks.

I had a great haircut experience with Emily! I have wavy/curly/thick hair and she styled it perfectly with very little direction. She didnt try to sell me on bougie curl cutting techniques and didnt seem stressed by the amount of hair I have like other stylists Ive tried in the past. I know dry cutting curls is the thing now but I just dont seem to have the type of curls that works for and Im always disappointed in the result when other stylists have cut it that way. I was so relieved that she cut my hair wet and it looks fantastic dry. I didnt show her pictures or go into great detail about what I wanted. She just KNEW! I look forward to more haircuts with Emily!

I didnt want to post a review because I am worried I will never get an appointment with Courtney again but I really want to call out that there are certain angels in this world. She is one of them. Courtney and her assistant were amazing. My daughter is mixed and have had challenges in finding the right person to do my daughters hair has been a journey. Courtney and her assistant listened. They asked questions and made my daughter feel beautiful. They took the time and were so patient. It wasnt about charging us for expensive treatments or rushing us out the door. I have never had anyone be so caring and understanding. She educated my daughter and myself on better ways to take care of her hair. This team of amazing ladies will have us going back and driving a little further to get that experience.

Love the atmosphere of this place and obviously the products they use. Alexis is an amazing hairdresser and I am always so happy with how great my cuts/bang trims look! The front staff are super friendly and accommodating!

What great staff and my hair dressing did an amazing job. I went in there for a simple cut but when I mentioned I was not liking the increase in visibility in my grey hair, she recommended a dye job that would just fade over time instead of needing touch ups which I was grateful for as I dont go to the salon very often. The staff offered coffee and water while I waited. While shampooing my hair, I was given a head massage which felt great. I was worried about finding a new salon since moving to Colorado springs a few months ago but so glad I found this place.

My mom, and I definitely left this salon 100% satisfied with our new looks. We had came in for our 3:30p.m appointment, and although the salon was backed up, they still made us comfortable, and had great communication. Our appointment was with Courtney, and we had voiced to her that we were very nervous, and had anxiety because we dont go to the salon due to past experiences with other salons. However, this salon specifically did an amazing job with making us comfortable. Courtney did an excellent job with me and my moms style, and because we are Native American, and had let them know that we keep our hair, they were very respectful, and collected our hair for us. I cant voice enough how satisfied we were after the visit, but that if anyone wants to be treated respectfully, and comfortably, then I suggest you go to Veda Salon, and Spa!

This salon is LOVELY! Classy, responsive, all you want in an Aveda spot plus super accommodating. I called with a crazy ask: I want some weird stuff done with my hair, I need a consult and it must be with someone who has availability in the next 6 days. They figured it out in a snap. My hair is amazing, the experience was lovely, and I’ll go back forever. Awesome spot. I recommend Leah!

Had a phenomenal haircut with Karen! She was probably the most efficient hairstylist I have ever had, came out with a perfect cut (and this was chopping about 5 inches off) without her having to check 14 times or cut anything more than I wanted. The rinse stations are super comfy and she gave a super relaxing shampoo. The location is beautiful, salon was super clean, everyone there was helpful and friendly! Will definitely be back and will recommend to friends!

Brenda did the best high and low light and style on my hair that I have ever had done. Excellent job on my very out grown highlights. My hair looks natural and healthy. Wonderful!!

Courtney and her assistant, Ashton are an amazing team! Courtney did my half a head of baby lights and a blonde money piece, along with a trim and style. She listened to what I wanted, asked the right questions and delivered! I am semi new to the area and have been trying hard to find a stylist I can become loyal to. I will 1000% be coming back. Her assistant also gave me one of the best hand and scalp massages! Finished off with a warm towel. As a working mom of 2, this was a luxury for me. Thank u so much for taking your time with me and getting my hair summer ready!

Nicole did a great job on my hair cut! She listened, gave feedback and the cut was exactly what I asked for and very well done. She also took the time to massage my head while shampooing my hair, which is the best part and so appreciated!!! I had a great experience here and will be returning.

I will never let anyone else touch my hair. Not your run of the mill haircut, and well worth the price. Ask for Karen if you need a top notch stylist, a cut and color, she is the absolute best.

My creative stylist Leah and her team do such a great job! The scalp massages and hair washing is so relaxing! Leah is a master at highlighting and coloring, whatever I want shell make 100% effort to make it work!

I had a 9 a.m. appointment with Kala today. I was told that there would be a 15 minute delay. 40 minutes later, still no stylist called for me. I walked out. Only received an apology from greeter. I will never go back to this Salon.

Very disappointed!$70 for a pathetic pedicure! Had a gift card and booked a pedicure. She didnt even turn on the whirlpool in the foot tub or let my feet soak before she began pushing back the cuticles! The water was warm but cooled quickly, and the whirlpool was NEVER turned on during the whole experience. The massage chair kept pushing me out of the seat too.My heels are still in terrible shape. Might have been better to let them soak before the filing and sanding of calluses and cracks before massage and moisturizer. The foot and leg massage was nice but this experience wasnt worth the $70 spent!My toenail color is nice and looks good for now but it hasnt been a full week yet. She only spent 30 minutes on my feet and didnt have a plan for drying the polish so I sat in the lobby for 10 minutes to allow for dry time. The place I went before this had a foot polish dryer/ blower!Id really like a refund and use my money to get 2 quality pedicures elsewhere!!

Tried to schedule an apt and they said I needed to come me in for a consultation before they could do my hair. My daughter does not have boxed hair dye on her hair at this time, but has in the past. This is what I told the receptionist and she said because of this we needed a consultation before she could have her hair done. This does not require all of that but apparently you all are too afraid of doing hair. Glad I didnt come in.

Had a very good experience getting a color correction. I have colored my hair at home for years and had several layers of various colors. Kat did an amazing job and getting my hair to a more natural color and it still felt healthy after.

I came in with a botched haircut. My hair is pretty long and the longest layer was really short. I thought for sure I was going to lose most of my length. Emily was able to save most of my length and gave me a beautiful cut with layers and a face frame. She made sure I had a great blowout to make sure I liked the final cut. She is my new go to hair stylist. She is amazing!!

Kellie did amazing work! She sat down with me and we really went in depth when discussing what I wanted vs what I could do with the lightness I already had. Although I couldnt go purple like I wanted without frying my hair (no thanks), I love the chocolate color we decided on. It is perfect in dimension, color definition, and the blending looks great and not chunky at all. She also did great work on my cut. I decided to go back to having a heavy, side swept bang amd do not regret it. I love how my hair turned out and will be coming back with my 3 little girls to have her cut their hair as well.Furthermore, she was super friendly, easy to talk to, and made me super comfortable on her chair. Definitely a favorite for my time here in Colorado Springs.

Stay Away! I set up an appointment for a Master Level Service. Upon my arrival, the tall female receptionist was rude and unwelcoming, almost dismissive, stating to grab a drink and sit down in a condescending tone. I not only sat waiting for my appointment for 20 minutes past my scheduled time, once I was greeted by my Master Level hair stylist, she sat me down and disappeared for 10 minutes! Her station was unorganized and not ready for service. I noticed her printed scheduled on her station with my name that stated New Client. For a Master Level stylist that new I was a new customer per her own schedule, the only thing that was mastered was the non existent service I walked out on after waiting 30 minutes. As I walked out, I spoke to the same rude receptionist informing her of what had happened and now she was concerned of my presence as a customer stating to wait and not leave as she has someone available. My business should have been considered a value upon and prior to arrival, not when the moment arrived that a customer was walking out. Maybe I was stereotyped being a male in a female based salon, but not once was my business valued.

Veda is amazing. Front desk staff are always make you feel welcomed. Environment is great. Kellie is my stylist. I have always struggled to find someone that could just cut my hair without making it look choppy due to my natural color. This girl knows what she is doing. Now she is doing my highlights and I love it. She is very personable and always makes me look and feel beautiful.

Kelsey is absolutely amazing! I love what she has been doing with my hair. She has got me hooked on hair painting and she has really found the perfect color tones and style for me. My hair has never looked healthier and I am constantly getting compliments on it. I feel like she goes that extra mile every single visit. Additionally, she is super sweet and really fun to talk-- she makes me feel right at home and the hours just fly by!

Kayla was such a pleasure to work with. This was my first experience at this salon and I feel so lucky to have found her. She was fun ,lively and talented. Everyone I encountered was pleasant and they took care of everyone with such care especially concerning safety guidelines with Covid. The facility was gorgeous and clean. Staff worked together as a team. This was honestly some of the best customer service I have received in Colorado Springs. I’m going to come back and have already recommended Veda to a friend of mine. I would definitely suggest Kayla or if you can’t get in with her to go anyway because the staff is absolutely wonderful!!!

My stylist, Kelsey has been outstanding! I am promptly greeted at my appointment time and she listens to what I want AND I walk out of there with a style that I can work with! I see Karen at Veda on Broadmoor for all my styling needs. She is a true gem and always takes the time to make each appointment feel special. It is the tiny details and effort that she puts forth at every appointment that make her stand out. Im truly grateful to have found her as a stylist and Veda as a Salon. The salon is always very clean, organized, and well run by all its staff. All staff at Veda have always been kind and curtious.

This was my first time at this salon, where I got a haircut and highlight after needing something new and different. I didnt have a good time. I had an *amazing* time! It wasnt a hair service, but a genuine spa experience. While my color was setting I received a complimentary hand massage, then my hands and head were wrapped in warm towels after my wash. The cut itself was shorter than I expected but the stylist seemed to really know what would work on my hair from color to cut to product. The salon seems to genuinely care about their patrons and want us to have an enjoyable experience. The price isnt much more than most other high end salons and it was definitely worth it. Highly recommend.Update: the color lasted all the way until April (5 months), and could probably go another month. Best highlight EVER!

First time guest and I had a WONDERFUL experience!! Sarah (the receptionist) was SO polite and lovely on the phone- she gave an OUTSTANDING first impression! Stacy (the other receptionist) was so kind and helpful as well! Marissa was my hair stylist and SHE. WAS. AMAZING. Marissa asked thorough, useful questions about what I wanted, she talked me through each step prior to taking it (which was comforting!) and her talent left me feeling like BRAND NEW. I was new to town and needed to find a salon. Im happy with my choice of Veda Salon. Most of the staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable when youre there. There are all types of customers, so everyone should feel welcome. I had my hair highlighted and trimmed on this visit. The stylist listened to my description of the color I wanted, and Im very happy...perfect! They do hand/arm massages while waiting for the color to be finished, and it feels fantastic! The prices are a little bit on the high end of what I find reasonable for a talented, qualified stylist...but Im happy with the results and will continue to be a client...its worth it!!

I hadnt been to a hair salon in a hot minute as a result of a butcher job. I normally only trust my hair to my sister anymore. However, I had to move and needed to find a hair dresser - enter Leah from Veda (see what I did there?). She was wonderful! Very patient and understanding. She was so nice and easy to talk to! My cut came out perfect :D

My wife has always used Aveda Salons for her hair. New to the area so made an appointment before Christmas for my wife at this location. Absolutely the worst haircut my wife has ever received. She thought it was okay at first but the next day she was mortified at how it was cut. Went to Floyds99 the next day and the stylist there immediately knew what the Aveda stylist did wrong when she walked in. Do yourself a favor and save the $287 and go somewhere else.

I had an appointment today at Veda with Marisa and I ended up leaving in tears. I was getting my roots touched up for platinum blonde hair; I was left in the dark and didn’t get much say with what was going on during the service, such as not keeping me in loop with what toner she was using (I overheard another worker tell Marisa ‘thanks for trying that one out for me’) and doing what she wanted instead. When I turned around to take a peek at the progress, there was a huge clump of my hair in the sink that she didn’t tell me about. When I asked her about it, she admitted she bit off more than she could chew and that she wasn’t skilled enough to do the service but took it on anyway. I now have extreme breakage, orange midsections, and black stripes in my hair. I had to go to a different salon to try to maintain the integrity of my hair since Veda Salon didn’t offer to fix it. They did comp my service, but I still feel slighted for wasting 7 hours of my day for them to botch my hair completely. It’ll eventually grow back, but this is a huge slam to my self esteem. I was treated like a human guinea pig and it’s upsetting that this service was going to be $250+ at original price. When I go get something done by a professional, I expect them to guide me in the right direction to the best result, not cross their fingers and hope for the best.

My 5 stars are specifically for KLa! She is WONDERFUL. The last time I visited, the girls at the front were giggling and talking about people as they approached the doors and then fake smiled and were fake nice when talking to them once they entered. They need to be trained to do better as humans.

I love everything about Veda. The front desk staff is wonderful, so kind and accommodating, friendly and helpful. My aesthetician Amanda Keller is fantastic! She is so good at what she does and I truly walk away after each visit feeling like my skin is brand new again. She is to thank for the glow I feel on my skin and the confidence I have in my skin. She also has given me the best eye brows of my life! If you are looking to have a facial done or perfect your eye brows, look no further!

The new location is nice and less than 5 minutes from the old one!The desk staff could be a little more friendly and welcoming or I would give 5 stars.All of the stylists I have seen here over the past few years from level 1 to the highest level have been extremely friendly and done a great job.

Can we just talk about how amazing Kellie is?! I needed a new hair stylist that was not only good but could also cut curly hair. I got to my appointment and was greeted by the friendly gals up front and offered a beverage. Kellie was not only personal but she had AMAZING tips and natural remedies for relieving an itchy scalp. She offered me an amazing rosemary mint scalp shampoo massage as well which I took her up on (worth every penny). If I would have died in that moment I would have died the happiest my scalp has felt in a long long time! And I honestly found Kellie through her amazing google reviews. So heres another cus that gal does not disappoint! Shes a gem! And I got a call today from them to check and see how my appointment was as a new client. Its nice to feel special. :)

Yesterday was my first time being a customer at Veda. My first impression upon walking in was how absolutely clean and professional everybody was. Melinda was so knowledgeable and friendly. She listened to my wants to give me exactly what I was looking for. She really took her time to make sure my hair looked flawless. Melinda has gained a new client. My hair looks amazing I couldnt be any happier with it.

Not an actual client of the salon but recently purchased skin care that I wasn’t completely satisfied with. I brought it in to exchange for another product and was told they typically don’t do exchanges or returns unless there is an allergic reaction. They did end up letting me do the exchange but I do find this curious because I can purchase these same exact products directly from Aveda with 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Needless to say I won’t be purchasing any retail from here again for this very reason and I hope this salon is able to revise their return policy in the near future. Why not back the products that you sell?

Kla was my hairdresser and I cant speak well enough about her. There were some misunderstanding with my apt. in the beginning but she made the situation right and went above and beyond to make things right. Love, Love the place. Will definitely go back to her.

I worked with Emily Hernandez, and she was absolutely amazing. I walked in with a few ideas but no real vision in mind and she walked me through all of my options for a change and we decided to go with teasy-lights. She was kind, informative, and super funny during our appointment. On top of that her work was amazing and I keep getting compliments at work and the dog park!

Luxurious and relaxing! Always a clean environment. I had my hair color corrected, the way they check on you frequently and have a teamwork ethic was reassuring that I was receiving the best care for my hair. They always check to see if you need drinks or anything to make you feel comfortable. Courtney did my hair and I loved the results! She is my go to stylist that I trust and recommend.

While I have been to Veda for some wonderful facials and other services, i had been seeing other stylists around town, none that really thrilled me. I took a gamble and asked for any stylist that could give me a new look....she was amazing! We spent a few minutes reviewing some pictures, as she had a stack of magazines to look for that she thought the shape of my face would look great with. In only 30 minutes she transformed my lifeless locks into magic. She was professional, friendly and caring. I left feeling fabulous. id recommend her to anyone! Kelsey is the BEST!!! She gets my hair exactly how I want every time. She is like a wizard with her shears. All of the staff are so kind and sweet when youre at the salon, too, which makes going even more enjoyable.

My wife has her hair done there. They always do a wonderful job! Shes notorious for hating her hair after getting it cut, but never hates it when she goes to Veda. I bought her an all day spa package last Christmas, and they pampered her hair, face, gave her a massage, and I dont know what all they did with her, but even fed her lunch! She was so happy to be pampered and fussed over all day. I recommend Veda. Theyre a bit pricey, but I believe you will find it worth it!

I had an excellent experience with both Amanda and Alika today. It was my first time coming here. I got my eyelashes lifted and tinted as well as a haircut. The entire experience was relaxing and everyone is very welcoming! I definitely plan on coming back!

I have been going to my stylist Madison for over 2 years. I have never been disappointed. She will tell me what she thinks will look good on me and I trust her judgment. When I want to try something new she does it, but puts a little Madison into it. I LOVE her. I always look forward to my appointments and enjoy every minute of my time in the chair! I started going to Kayla since 2019 and she has always done amazing work . She has been an amazing positive person and she exceeds on her work each and every single time. This place is awesome they are priced very reasonable but more importantly is the quality of work that they produce. I have very difficult hair with many colics and I have been to 5 or 6 other hairstylist in the Springs and none of them have been able to do a decent job on a consistent basis. Then my wife suggested I try Veda salon and I met Jon who took the time to listen to what I wanted, he did a very thorough job took its time and now he has a very satisfied customer who will be returning again and again and again!

Went here for the first time today after another salon made my hair orange. Russell was amazing. He knew exactly how to fix it and the customer service was great! I walked away with amazing color for a decent price. I will definitely be back!

I love Veda! Their prices are more than some salons, but the service and pampering you receive are worth the prices! I have been going to Stacy for several months. She does a great job with my hair. She is patient with me and listens to what I want. I used to think the salon was too expensive, but Im so glad I decided to go. I recommend the salon and Stacy to all my family and friends.

I had an with Madison on 8 Aug, she was recommended by a good friend of mine for short hair cuts. I was very impressed with the hair cut I received. She did an outstanding job, I highly recommend Madison if your looking for a short sassy style. My overall experience at Veda was great, I will be making my hair apts with this salon from here on out.

My first experience was great loved my cut, facility was great. 2nd time I opted for a cut and color. I was going to be late so I called to see if I needed to reschedule. They said no problem. I was 10 minutes late. Me and the stylist discussed colors I said i like reds, burnt oranges etc. He clarified about copper tones. Did a full highlight, while the bleach was sitting he was helping another customer and said someone else would wash me. The bleach was in for what seemed like an extended amount of time.. Someone else washed me, She went over to him and asked if he wanted to double tone because my roots were very blond and my ends were still pretty dark and they were afraid it would be too ashy. He said no. Then he had someone else tone my hair without even looking at it because he was busy. Finally got around to cutting my hair at the end which I told him I needed a lot of layers due to my curl pattern and he gave me a trim at best and did not give me the desired layers. The cut took him all of 15 minutes. He asked if he could do a natural style due to it being late and I agreed.This consisted of him putting curl cream in my hair and a spritz of hair spray. I voiced concern about the color before I left the salon. My hair was frizzy and fried. You want to leave the salon looking like a goddess and I left looking like I stuck my finger in a light socket. My scalp was red in places and painful. The color was uneven, and awful. My family and friends even went as far as to say it looked grey. Which is not a good color when that is not what you werent opting for. I called the salon and they could only get me in 10 days from the original appt which is a long time for service recovery. I was in tears. I did accept the appt and later canceled as I could not leave my hair the way it was for 10 days. I gave it a few washes to see if it would even out or change the color but it didnt look any better. It took a week of deep conditioning treatments for my hair to not feel crunchy. I paid for a high level stylist and did not receive what I paid for. The facility is nice, the staff are personable and professional. Good customer service however could not fix my hair.

I have gone here a few times already and I absolutely love it the staff is always very friendly and welcoming! I have been seeing Leah every chance I get and she always goes above and beyond to make my hair look amazing and healthy. I will definitely recommend them to anyone!

WOW! What a great experience! MARLA is the greatest! For once in my hair cutting experience I had someone who listened and asked all the right questions! I took off 8 inches to donate and normally one would be nervous for such a change but I felt completely safe. Felt very relaxed (yes she gave me a head massage with the shampoo which is one of the best parts) even was greeted with a warm tea. I will for sure go back to Marla Gates she is the bomb!

It’s always scary to go to a new stylist to do your hair, even if it’s just for a blowout. Of course the risk is much lower, but I’m very picky about how my hair is done. It’s naturally wavy/curly and I have a LOT of it. If it’s not done just right, it turns into a frizz ball, which is not the look I’m going for.All of that being said, I’M SO GLAD I CAME HERE! I’m in town for an extended period of time and was looking for a stylist I could regularly come back to. I found her! Marla was my stylist and our personalities clicked right away. We went to her station where she put a cape on me (some stylists don’t do this for a blowout and I always end up with a wet shirt/back - also not a look I’m going for). We talked about my hair and what kind of style I was looking for. Then off to the shampoo bowl, where I could happily live. The reclined massage chair, PLUS the shampoo and scalp massage was amazing. Not everyone shampoos the same way, sometimes I feel like spots are missed, or their touch is too light, but Marla’s was perfect. I felt confident that she knew what she was doing, and she did. My hair looks great, I’m very happy! I’m seeing her next week for another blowout. I may have met her for the first time today, but I left the salon feeling like we’d known each other for years. If you need the BEST color specialist, ask for Kellie. In addition to her wealth of experience, she can intuit exactly what is right for her client. I never know how to articulate what I want. Thankfully, Kellie does. She should be called The Color Psychic.(I get so many compliments on my hair, that I carry lots of her cards with me.)In addition, clients are treated with the TLC usually reserved for special friends. When you leave Kellies chair, you feel very Special.

My haircut was done by Jon and he did a fabulous job!I told him what I wanted and even the frustrations Ive had with my hair. He made suggestions that really made a difference when he styled it for me, and if I didnt understand something he took the time to explain.I also made him aware of a scar behind my ear thats still tender from surgery about 4-5 weeks ago. He was really gentle around that area which I really appreciated!

I have been going to Veda for over 20 years. My stylist Erin Sandvik is outstanding whether it is a cut or color. Over the years I have enjoyed my opportunities to visit with her. I also see Jennifer Hedemark for my manicures and pedicures and Stephanie for my facials and waxing. It is great to be able to go to one place for all services. The girls at the front desk all call me by name when I enter the salon and are anxious to assist with any of my needs. I would highly recommend the salon and everyone employed there as the quality of services is beyond compare.

I visited Veda back in March and was randomly seen by Marla, for a haircut. She did a great job and heard exactly what I wanted. I decided to go back to her this month (May) for color. I havent colored my hair in over 10 years and was pretty anxious because I wanted to make a big change. I showed several pictures and we decided to just do a base color that and come back 2 weeks later to add in highlights (per my request so I could break up the payment). After leaving the salon I found myself I ncredibly disappointed. The color in my hair wasnt what I had imagined or expected, at all. I even looked at it in different lights- in the salon, a Target dressing room, outside natural light, and at home. Typically Im not one to complain but I had paid good money and had been so excited for this mommy make over that I knew I needed to call the salon. I called to cancel the highlight appointment because I didnt feel comfortable spending more money, and adding more color to my hair when I wasnt satisfied with the first go around. The receptionist was incredibly kind and understanding and said I could come in for a Re-do, free of charge. This was such a relief to me! A little bit later Marla called me herself. We talked through what I was thinking and what I had expected and she said she could totally make it right. She moved things around and squeezed me into her schedule for that same week, so that she could make things right before I went out of town. I went in today for my Re-do and Marla made me feel so understood and not guilty at all for coming back in. She wanted the opportunity to make things right and she truly did! We looked at pictures online and color samples, to ensure it was what I envisioned. I walked out of there feeling great and 100% satisfied! I truly appreciate the way Marla handled the situation and made sure I was a satisfied client. I will most definitely be back in, with Marla, for the upkeep of my new color :)

Ive been going to the Veda Salon, Broadmoor location for about a year now, and find that Salon to be an extremely relaxing environment!!! Everyone is very nice and professional. In addition, I live an hour and half away(which speaks volumes) so when I visit the salon, I leave with the VERY BEST COLOR AND CUT and feel wonderful, my stylist is Marla, shes EXCELLENT at what she does, I will follow her where ever she goes.

I picked this place purely off how high their rating was, and they lived up to it! I made an appt to get a balayage and I had Leah do my hair, she was understanding and patient. I told her what I wanted and she started right away and I was nervous, but I was amazed at how it turned out. I do highly recommend Leah to do your balayage. This place is so much more than “just a hair salon” it’s comfortable and relaxing. The entire place is friendly. I will definitely come back here from now on.

My husband treated me to a spa day at Veda for my birthday. I had never done anything like that before and it was such a wonderful, relaxing experience! I scheduled an appointment for an updo for my elopement a month prior (I’m from out of state) and once the stylist found out I was a “bride” as I’m sitting in her chair, she said “oh bridal hair is usually longer than 1 hour and includes a previous consultation and $150.” Considering I got in CO the day before I didn’t have time for a consultation. I simply needed some curls and a low bun for a head piece to stay in for our outdoor ceremony. Sure enough Veda charged me $150 for 1 hour of service, no consultation and the appointment was not longer per a typical “bridal” appointment. In fact we started late! What a rip off considering an updo is $62. I doubt she would’ve done anything different if I said I was just attending a formal event.

I was getting my hair cut here for several years, I dont usually request a receipt, but this time I did. I didnt review it until I got home an realized I was charged $35 for services I did not ask for. ($10 for a special conditioner + another $25 for some special conditioning treatment). Really made me think twice just how many times they had done this in the past.Also, they would always schedule someone in between my service, so I had to wait an extra hour for them to cut someone elses hair before they came back to finish mine.And if you have long hair - forget about getting anything but a boring blow dry you can do yourself because they simply dont have time to do anything different....especially if the person they scheduled in between yours takes longer for them to do than expected.

They provide product recommendations and tips so I take good care of my skin and hair between visits. Id be lost without them as theyre my go to crew to looking and feeling fabulous!!!

They had me in the computer as three different customers and didnt have my Veda Privilege account saved that I had just bought my prior visit. There was a new employee (male) that joined all three of my accounts together and added my privilege account to it as well ( I had my receipt showing that I had purchased it there my prior visit). I made my next appointment at Veda on North Academy and had a fabulous experience!! I think the Broadmoor must be going through changes with new management or something of the sort...

My mom came into town for a short while and we were so excited to get massages and what not well we called several days in advance and scheduled our appointments. When I called I read back what all we wanted and the times and she said all was right. We get up here today and said I had my appointment at 1:45 and they were like oh sorry that was for 1 and the masseuse leaves at 2. So now my mom has to be in there by her self and we cant spend the day together because they clearly dont know how to hear or list appointments.

Veda Salon (Broadmoor) has a very relaxing, calming atmosphere and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. I have never had a bad experience here...always great! Tena gave a great massage, actually I think the best massage I’ve had, and definitely the best on the neck area. It was very relaxing and beneficial. Definitely makes a difference in how I feel. I won’t go anywhere besides AVEDA Broadmoor for a massage.

Ask for Marla, she is wonderful at covering my grey roots without it fading. All you ladies that want a truly wonderful time come to Veda Broadmoor.

I got there at 1:30 for an apt at 2. I got right back in, the ladies were friendly things were going great. I want a cut and ombre look. I got back to wash and condition at a good decent time frame. Well the lady ended up taking on another client and left me with the conditioner in for a hour and 20 minutes. I started to get pissed. I didnt even get a cut or let alone my hair brushed out I didnt haven any more time. I paid and left at about 630. It is rediculous for it to take that long in my opinion. And I still had to pay a large amount. I dont recommend that place or maybe that person.

Amazing hair color and hair cut with Marla at Veda Broadmoor in Colorado Springs!! She is so sweet and beautiful and an ARTIST when it comes to hair, especially for blondes!I had frizzy, damaged, brassy grown out roots blonde hair and I came in and Marla gave my hair a total makeover with a balayage with ash blonde and matched my roots to my natural hair color. Even came with a relaxing hand massage! :) I cant wait to come back and she is my stylist forever!!Hope

Just had my nails done this weekend by Brenda. I was concerned about the damage done to my nails in the past. She listened to my concerns and talked over the solutions. I was extremely happy with the the care she took. She will definitely be my new nail person.

Called to make an appointment for the first time. As they have 4 different levels of stylists, I went off the website and tried to schedule an appt with a Professional level stylist. The girl on the phone had no idea what level that was--apparently their computer doesnt list it the same way the website does. Trying to clarify, I said the $30 level, as listed on their website.My stylist didnt seem particularly experienced, but worse, she completely ignored what I asked for. Very first thing I said, please do NOT do X, she seemed to understand and totally agreed. At the end of the haircut, X is EXACTLY what she did. Very not pleased with how it looks.In addition, the cost was $35, and looking at the stylists business card, she is listed as a Pure Talent level stylist (which is exactly how it is listed on the website, so I have no idea why the person answering the phone acted like she had never heard of those terms before in her life). So I got a skill level 1 BELOW what I was asking for, but paid $5 MORE than what the website said I should have for the level I wanted!! The website lists the Pure Talent cut as only $20. If it differs from salon to salon, they need to either clarify that when people call in, or fix their damn website.Essentially, the receptionists dont seem to know what theyre talking about, the stylists are over priced and under skilled, and do not listen to what you are asking for. If you want to be ignored and given a sub-par haircut, you might as well go to a cheap place and not waste as much of your money.

Went there for a haircut from long length to short Maddison was amazing, she listened to what I wanted and helped wrapped up all my ideas to give me a perfect cut. My brows were shaped by Amanda and they are #browgoals. Overall the place is really relaxing and nice and these two ladies gave me LIFE. Definetly recommend this place.

I have been to the Broadmoor Veda salon three or four times. My experience is a mix. The stylist gets it spot on most of the time and the esthetician is very good.What bothers me are the constant efforts to upsell me, or sell me something I dont need. It makes me feel as though the salon is more concerned with squeezing every dime from my wallet than providing an excellent (and expensive) service.

I showed up 10 mins prior to my appt. I set up this appt online and included a detailed note of my anxiety about such public places and getting my hair cut. 10 mins after my appt time the stylist came out n said shed be right w me. 30 mins later, I got up n walked out in sheer panic. I never saw her again. Then the next day the manager calls me n says well give you 20% off to come back and .... I waited 40 mins after my scheduled time!!! Thats a free haircut if you ask me! She left me just sitting there without another heads up as to what was going on!! 20 %???? Pshhh. Ive been a stylist for THIRTY YEARS and find such practices horrible.

Loved. I had to have a corrected color and they did an amazing job. Fyi do not go to Ellies edge. The owner severly screwed my healthy hair by throwing bleach on it and calling it a balayage. Also did not refund me the money when I got home and brushed out my hair to see the actual damage done. Veda spa was amazing and I will be going back to continue the correction that Ellies edge did to my hair. So happy to have found a place that is worth the price.

I came to see Marla after moving to the area - as someone with long blonde hair I am very particular about who touches my hair! She does an amazing job with color and cuts. She always listens to what I am looking for and goes above and beyond. I am a regular now and recommend her to everyone.

Wonderful experience from start to finish! Very relaxing environment and friendly. I saw Leah and her assistant Tess. Both did a wonderful job! The salon was beautiful and clean as well.

Went to Kori today and she did amazing! Definitely worth the money. Went in for a color correction from red to blonde (im a natural blonde) and cant even tell i was red just hours ago!! Showed her a picture of my natural hair color and she got it nearly perfect!! Absolutely amazing. Could NOT be happier!

On October 2nd 2012, my husband purchased a Veda Salon gift card for our anniversary for a couples massage. We went to receive this service at the Broadmoor location and were left waiting without explanation. Finally, we were told that they do not offer couples massage at this location. On a later date I called to schedule a pedicure for my daughter, her best friend, and myself. We were told to come in and once again rudely left waiting without explanation.While watching other customers come and go, I decided I would just purchase one of Vedas products instead,which is the damage remedy shampoo. It was suppose to work better than Nioxin. After using this shampoo for two months the results were very disappointing. I then tried to contact the manager to express my displeasure of her stores service and products and was told that she was out. I left a number and received no response. Later in the week I called and was told she couldnt take the call because she was in a meeting,and felt as if I was being blown off. Although I know that the founder of this establishment is a great person, I feel that the personel is not representing that personality correctly.Every customer should be made to feel important and treated with respect.They do not do that. Their attitudes are very snobby to the point I felt like there were some predjudices against me by the staff.

I just left this salon after my consultation with Courtney. I am shocked the the awful service I just received and that’s after just a consultation. Whitney wouldn’t even provide me the owners information so I could speak to them. All she said was she wasn’t allowed to provide it. Which is false. Having anyone leave your salon in practically tears should be PRIORITY if that’s NOT how you conduct your business.

Great place!! I needed a new spa when mine closed and gave them a try.. got a mani-pedi and full foil color with cut.. they did an amazing job.. I LOVE my hair.. Leah is awesome! Will definitely be making another appointment!!

Love Courtney she has been there for years. When I want my hair cut short and sassy shes the one to c.Some how there was a mistake on my star rating it only showed up as a 1 star thats a mistake. Veda is for sure 5 🌟

Kelsey Foiles is amazing!! She not only knows her trade well, but shes very charismatic and open to suggestions. She really tries to get a sense of what you want before she touches the scissors. Highly recommend.

I’m new to Colorado Springs and trust the Aveda name so I knew I couldn’t go wrong at Veda. Alika gave me an awesome cut and the new Creekwalk location is immaculate! Highly recommend Veda and Alika both.

I’ve had to reschedule my hair appointment 3 times because Kirsten had to always leave after we arrived at the salon. Yet alone, they had a difficult time finding the deposit that I made to hold my spot for the appointment. They’re not professional, organized, and don’t value their customers.

Im hoping with my return visit that I will be more satisfied. I asked to be as blonde as possible and I returned home as a brunette after brown was applied to my already highlighted hair. I was told it was the lighting in the salon which was not the case. Im upset that I have to return but appreciate that the next visit will be complimentary since I did not get what I even asked for last time

Marla cut my hair the other day and did a fantastic job! She did *exactly* what I wanted. Her scalp massages are to die for! If you want someone who knows how to cut hair and can cut it the way you want, definitely make an appointment with Marla :)

Love this place. My hair stylist Brenda is awesome! Drive all the way from Castle Rock. She cut and colored my hair beautifully. I wish I could make it L as good as she does when I style it.

My experience last month at VEDA, with Monique, was over the top. I am transitioning into a new hair style and color, and I felt that Monique really listened to my desires and at the end of the appointment I loved both. I would highly recommend Monique and VEDA.

Great hair cut and Alysia is amazing with listening to her customer and giving great feedback. Alysia educated me on chemicals in shampoos & dyes that are potentially cancerous. I highly recommend Alysia.

I just got a haircut from Courtney and I couldnt be happier! I have super curly hair and do better with the devacut method. Courtney is devacut certified (Veda isnt listed on the devacut website because they dont stock devacurl products). She did an amazing job!!

Orgasmic! From the introduction, to the slow combing of fingers through my hair and water trickling through my hair. A true artist that exudes confidence and rocks the cut! I couldnt help but think how ecstatic I was for the end result! After it was all over I was relaxed and felt amazing! Love the pompadour with hard part and making me look fresh! I know that AVEDA is in line with my personal ethics, so wanted to go this direction when I had to change brands. I couldn’t really tell what the right color matches would be on-line and wanted to check out the products in person before making a purchase, so I looked up this store. I actually had a hard time telling if they sold products on-site, so I had to call and ask (the SouthGate location) and over the phone they were very helpful and said that I could come by any time and there would be someone to consult with me. So I did. The receptionist at the Southgate location was very helpful and took time right away (even though they were busy) to walk me through the options to test and find the right shades. She listened to what I wanted rather than trying to make me want a look that she might wear. She did not try to oversell, which made it a comfortable experience and I really appreciate – something I can find annoying and consider a risk of shopping face-to-face. She was genuine, empathetic and really seemed to know the products well – made sure I know what NOT to do as well as what to do and in what order. I will definitely go back. I’ve also been enjoying the products for two weeks now and really like them.

Thanks to Monique for rescuing my hair after a misguided attempt to cut it myself while staying safe at home. She performs miracles! I highly recommend this talented and sweet stylist.

I scheduled an appointment with Kayla for a massage, she is the best. I had shoulder pain for about seven months prior to going now I have been pain free for a couple of months now. I will definitely be returning soon.

I was hurting extremely bad after helping my brother move. Went in to see Raeanne for a massage and it was absolutely amazing!!! Saved the day. Also gave me some good tips on care moving forward and a couple of effective stretch exercises. I will be booking again and highly recommend Raeanne!!!!

While it is expensive, it is well worth it because my stylist is extremely knowledgeable and the product is amazing and better than any I’ve tried

Stylists are amazing. Front desk staff are quick to greet you and make you feel welcomed. Always get a choice of tea or water when you visit, even if you are there with a friend and not the client.

Terrible, awful experience. I told the stylist I was going to Chicago next weekend for a girls weekend away. She cut my hair too short which looks terrible enough. Then the color was uneven and I have hot roots and its awful. The assistant manager said she would refund my money which she did and that a senior stylist would fix the color. So I arranged child care and called back and she offered me another level 1 stylist.... It was ridiculous so now I have this terrible hair cut and Color... Thanks for nothing

I was disappointed with my haircut here. I got a level 2 stylist out of levels 1-5. When I got a call from the salon a couple days later asking how my first time was I told them I was very disappointed and they told me I should have chosen a higher level stylist in order to avoid the kind of mistakes my stylist made. Thats an awful business if they cant take responsibility for all of their stylists work- regardless of what level they are. Moral of the story, dont go here for a cut unless you are willing to pay an arm and leg for a top tier stylist and even then, there are no guarantees.

This place is awful! Dont ever buy someone a gift card from this place!! They waste your time and refuse to just give you a refund with unsatisfactory service. Also, in order to book an appointment you have to put a 50% deposit on a debit card which they will not move over to the gift card. I spent way more than my haircut was worth, but I can accept that. I just cant accept the way this business rip off customers that dont care to do business with them ever again!!!!

Jeanine is awesome. She has been doing my brows for years. Visiting with her is like seeing a good friend every 5 weeks. Very talented, beautiful, caring person!

I have been here several times and every time I come out with something I do not want or I didnt ask for. Their prices are high for level 6 stylists when level 1 stylists are sometimes just as good. Their level system feels like a scam just to make more money.

Great experience! They accommodated me by letting my almost 3 year old daughter come. She sat in the stroller with her snacks and tablet while mommy got her hair fixed. My hair stylist was very friendly and very quick at her job, but knew what she was doing! Loved everything about my hair in the end!! Again, all around phenomenal experience!!!

Used to be a regular, but eventually realized that every time I left the salon, I was dissatisfied with something...most of the time with the haircut (three times in a row), attitude, price (slow learner). Finally gave them up when I bought some quite expensive (I thought) eye shadow. When I got it home I realized it was just a little square of color. No brush. No holder. When I went back to the store to return it, I was told that make-up wasnt returnable. News to me. When I explained that the salesperson who sold it to me didnt tell me it was just a little square of eye shadow, I was basically told (by a woman with waaaaay too much heavy make-up), Too bad. Thats our policy. A minor event, but kind of the straw that broke the camels back for me. Wont go back. Discovered a great little salon: Styles Salon on S. Academy where Ive been very happy since.

Highly recommend Kelsey! She makes you feel super comfortable! I struggle with hair loss and she gives me a style that makes me feel confident about my hair!

Emily was awesome with my cut! Shes actually cut it before and Im super picky with my hair so I make sure to request her every time!

I take my mom to this salon and we love it. Friendly staff as soon as you walk in there you get offer tea, water or coffee. Such a great environment and the view of the mountains is just amazing.
