Such a disappointing experience - The front counter staff is atrocious.I called the morning of my appointment to see what the cancellation fee would be IF I had to cancel my appointment. They informed me it was be 50%. I replied with “Oh okay, thank you.” And ended the call. Never gave my name, and never requested to cancel my appointment. I then received a call back from their location stating that they were processing my payment for the 50% cancellation fee! When I was then passed over to the “manager”, she kept speaking over me while I was explaining my situation, she raised her voice to me, and then accused ME of “having an attitude” and then stated that since I had an attitude, I was no longer able to book at that location! (Which - no worries, I never would again!) But to be told that I am not to come to the location due to a phone conversation in which I - the PAYING CUSTOMER WITH A MEMBERSHIP - was Wrongly cancelled/charged for an appointment that I did not cancel - unacceptable! And horrible business, to have a child “manager” banning people from the business! Horrible customer service. I’d advise the location to look for new leadership for your location.
Dont get the membership. Plain and simple. They sell it to you as nothing to loose, but where they get you is they say that you can cancel at any time. They make it seem really apprealing and cool, but at the end of the day when youre spending over $80 a month for one free massage, which is really you just paying for it with the membership and then you have to pay for any other massage or anything you want. But heres the catch, the workers will tell you how appealing it is and how you can cancel at any time, nope. In fact, you can only pause your membership for 6 months and cannot cancel it for over a year. If I had known that you cant just cancel it I wouldnt have even went to my first appointment. Not to mention when I was signing up for said membership they never really let me read the fine print on the little tablet, they just say sign here, here, and here and go from there. Save your money and your time. The massage itself was okay, he did a pretty good job as getting the muscles that were hurting, but I would not pay how much I paid for it again. I would rather go to one of those dollar a minute ones in the mall.
Very relaxing facial by Alma. She knowledgeable about their product line and services. I chose to have a 90 minute session and plan to continue going back 2x a month for facials and massages because this location is convenient and easily accessible. Scott is my favorite massage therapist. He has strong hands and knows exactly how to remove stubborn knots.They’re booked in advance for massages but have many cancellations so we just snag those as they’re available.
I normally have pretty good experiences at Massage Envy in multiple locations throughout the US. I used to have a membership and used them regularly when I lived in Texas. I’m in Colorado Springs on business and decided a massage after getting off the plane would be a good idea. I had Jonathan as my massage therapist and he was only ok. He didn’t really seem like he was focused on the massage and was just going through the motions. I feel like he probably gives the same massage to everyone and he uses a lot of force and he’s a big guy which I think might be too much force for a lot of people. What I also found a little off putting was that he had earphones in while doing the massage and I could hear his own music over the ambient music in the room. Is that even allowed? It seems unprofessional. I had a second massage originally scheduled with him for later in the week which I cancelled after the first massage. I’m disappointed because usually I have good experiences with ME therapists but this was my first less than positive experience at a ME location.
Just tried to cancel my month to month subscription… but the girl informed me there is no month to month as I was told 7 months ago when I had gone a couple times. The woman told me “ if you join it’s cheaper, and you can cancel any time” both of which were lies. Scamming people on monthly fees is what these places have come to. Never going to nor recommending this franchise again. Spend your money on local massage businesses. Massage Envy pays their therapists very poorly as well as shady business practices
Do not sign up for the membership. They oversell you but do not disclose any long term details. They make it difficult to cancel and even after cancelling, you cannot give the credits you have already paid for to friends. The staff is not knowledgeable. Bait and switch.
This massage was by far the worse massage I have ever gotten. I have bruises on my body and I am more sore then when I went in for my massage. Jonathon was late for our appt first off, was in a hurry, didnt ask me what kind of pressure I wanted, if there was any certain areas to avoid or give more attention to. I will never go back to this location and I suggest you dont either unless you want to be bruised and needing a new massage asap!
Great experience. They do sell their membership to you but if you enjoy monthly massages or facials it is not a bad deal. Calming, relaxing and made me feel very relaxed.
Got a deep tissue from Maddie ! She was awesome , polite and very professional! (Definitely will return for another )And the front desk girl Ashley was great too, made the check in process easy and was very well mannered.
Loved that as za travel nurse in New Town and new facility I coul come here and get excellent, consìstant service after 12 hrs on shift. Really professional and welcoming!
For the first three visits of my contract the massage therapist was amazing. Then the appointments got further apart, then they started cancelling my appointments. Then I had to go to a different location just to get worked on. DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THESE PEOPLE THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. Hard to get out of contract they will keep your credits and you have to pay extra to give to a friend or spouse.
I have had a membership for several years and the massages are always awesome and staff is friendly! The last two appointments I had at this location were cancelled at the last minute, one was 20 minutes before the massage due to “car trouble” with the masseuse, the other was cancelled at the time of my massage as a staff member never showed up to open, I was waiting outside with the masseuses and another customer, I left after about 10 minutes of waiting. This happened recently and was only two weeks apart. The most frustrating part is that if I would have cancelled at the last minute I would have been charged for the full session. I was not offered any compensation for the inconveniences, each time I had to ask if they would be willing to do anything, I received 30 mins added to my account for each instance. I understand that things happen but to have two appointments canceled in a row, just two weeks apart was very frustrating. I have had better luck at other locations and more than likely I will frequent them more often going forward.
Katryna gave an amazing stretch session! She really knows and cares about what she’s doing for clients. She listened to all the issues I had and got to work on them right away. Definitely would go back for Katryna!!
If I could give zero stars, I would. I scheduled appointments for my mother and I months ago. She is a long time member of massage envy(over 5 years). She got a message 2 hours before our appointments that hers was canceled because her therapist called out. To add insult to injury, the manager couldnt be bothered to do anything to fix it. All local massage envys were booked out and the only appt they could offer ONE of us was on a Monday, a day we could not go and was only for 60 minutes when I scheduled 90 minutes, one with hot stones, also not available any other day. My mother visits me every 3 months and we had planned this for that long. Only to be canceled the day of, Im going to guess because guy partied too hard on a Friday. Also, how does a MANAGER justify not working on their busiest day of the week?! The desk worker told me the manager wouldnt be in until the next day and would NOT be calling me the day of the canceled appointment.
EDIT: Unfortunately I had to change my 4 star rating to a one star. This location was promising at first until it became very apparent that the front desk is absolutely clueless, and the multiple therapists my husband and I tried were no good. We have been loyal clients of massage envy for 3 years and due to the awful locations in Colorado we are cancelling our membership. Too bad.My husband and I started out going to the First and Main location and we were very disappointed, we even talked about canceling our memberships but decided to try the Rockrimmon location first. We both had great massages by Laura and Ethan and will definitely not be cancelling our memberships. My husband got everything he needed from Ethan including deeper pressure and he was very attentive to him. Laura was very knowledgeable of her trade and walked me through what she was doing, why, and made sure to check in on me throughout the massage. The only reason it’s a 4 and not a 5 star review is just due to lack of knowledge by some of the front desk. When I booked our appointments I told the receptionist I spoke with multiple times that both my husband and I were members but she still booked me as a new client and they had to fix it when I got there for my session. A little annoying but not a big deal.
DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!!! Management does not care about you, they just want your money.I went to massage envy earlier this year after having my hip reconstruction done a year prior. I thought that this would help make my hip feel a little bit looser and more comfortable. IT DID THE EXACT OPPOSITE. After a session that I had in April/May my entire leg had gone completely numb for about 2 weeks. I had called the office as soon as it happened and asked to cancel my subscription because this was the last thing that I wanted. I spoke to the manager (Heidi) who sent me a form to fill out to what I was told to cancel my account. She said that my account would be cancelled and if I decided to come back I had until November to renew. A month later I get a call saying that my card had been declined (wasnt declined I had gotten a new credit card) and they needed a new one on file. I told them that I had already cancelled my account a month ago and they said that they had no forms signed saved on my account. Which led me to believe that the manager did not even submit these forms for me... Come to find out that she had not submitted the forms and that they found them in her emails. Now it is December and I am getting a phone call from massage envy saying that I have 3 hours on my account. I immediately call back saying that I have cancelled my account. The manager continues to tell me that I DID NOT cancel my account I just froze it. She also continues to tell me that the gal who took care of me last time is no longer with the company so she cannot ask her about the situation. She then tells me that she can cancel my account but I HAVE 3 HOURS that I can still use before I cancel. After having my leg go numb and on multiple instances having them try to charge my card obviously I do not want to ever return. The manager also leaded to tell me that she cannot refund my money that I can only use the hours. So thank you Rockrimmon Massage Envy for ruining my experience there I will NEVER be returning and I will be contacting corporate to return my money that you have taken from me.
Have visited numerous times for a stretch session with Katryna and have experienced a noticable improvement in flexibility. Her demeanor is professional yet personable. I would highly recommend this service with Katryna.

Great place, I was given a gift certificate for this place so I got a 90 minute message. I wanted a deep tissue message and they recommended David, I have a lot better range of motion now then prior to the message.The inside of the business was beautiful, and I really appreciated the lack of fragrance, most other places I have been have an overwhelming fragrance as soon as you walk in the door. The place was clean and well take care of. The exterior needs some work, but dont let that fool you.Looking at their prices, average. You do get a break with a membership though.
I try to stick with a few good massage therapts, they are difficult to find. I like specific techniques and pressure.Ive been a ME member for years, my first membership was at another location. I seldom had an issue making an appointment at that particular location. Since I moved to this facility, Ive had nothing but problems. In fact, I have a problem getting my monthly massages in.My primary concern is when I call to make an appointment, no one answers the phone. Ive been told not to call at the top of the hour or I can leave a voicemail. I was also told the business didnt have enough phone lines.The reason for not answering their business line is clients are checking in. As a customer/client, I find this unacceptable. As a customer, I call when is convenient for me, I also work, and I dont carry my personal cell phone with me, and sometimes carrying my cell with me isnt an option.A few suggestions are to hire more staff, add more telephone lines, or better yet, give your customers the option of booking online.
I had enjoyed going here until recently. The staff has changed a little over the last year. Their massage therapist Steph is skilled but lacks soft skills needed in her job in my opinion. I will not go to this location again sadly.
I had Esther as my massage therapist for a prenatal massage and she was wonderful. She has a very calming personality and I felt very relaxed and at ease during the massage and with her massage therapist. I thought she did a great massage and really got what I was looking for in a massage and booked with her again.
My wife and I got a couples massage done here a week or so back. I had Grant and she had Mike. They managed to get us scheduled in on the same day we called, which was awesome, given the fact our schedules are usually pretty difficult and after a long week, we really only had this week to spend together. Shawna greeted us when we walked in and went over our treatment plans. She was very polite and we felt very comfortable talking to her about sometimes sensitive information. Anyways, the massage therapists were both spot on and awesome. Grant had just the right amount of deep tissue pressure to release the stress build up in my upper back while Mike was thurough in his full body massage with her. Afterwards, Shawna went over the available treatment packages and though they were very reasonable, with our schedules. We are lucky to ever get enough time to come in. Overall our experience was exceptional and when we finally have the time to get another massage, we will be coming back. Im usually not a big fan of corporate and big business places, as I like to support the mom and pop shops, but for this I could make an exception.
Im changing my review cuz well in the last handfull months they have messed up cancelled and rescheduled more oppointments than kept. Theres always a person leaving so you can never have the same masseuse more than a few times. Today I was suppose to a massage done after 3rd attempt and again messsed up. Apparently the front desk dont communicate cuz my slot was booked before it was given to me. Their cuatomer service abd reliability is really going down hill. Shame I can to this one cuz i live closer than the main one which went down hill and called me a liar and forger over proof of their mess up. Time to cancel ans find somewhere better and more reliable. Whats the point of paying for a memeber ship thats always messed up or you can hardly use?

Dont sign up for a yearly membership. Its a scam. Once it ends, they give you only sox weeks to use up all your credit. Even my husband was not allowed to share the credit on my account, even though he pays the bill.Front desk staff have repeatedly given me wrong information to me and are more focused on sales than customer satisfaction.The massage therapists and aestheticians are, however, fantastic. Facials and massages were always very good and relaxing..
If I could give NO stars I would !!!!!!Absolutely worst experience I’ve ever had we have been members for a year and no one there knows how to communicate and give the right information concerning policies! We have been trying to cancel or membership for over 5 months now and they STILL charging us and will not remove us and our card info!!!!! Please save your time and money and find some other business that’s actually worth it !!! STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!!

The front desk lacks an incredible amount of common sense. They were too focused on selling a membership to me and after the education Ive recieved from a business and marketing class that is the complete opposite of how one entices services to a customer. The massage therapist that worked on me was very good, but seemed extremely worn out and rushed after the session therefore I can only assume that the company over works their therapists. I can see how thats effective for the company, but again theres zero common sense in overworking those that basically run the business in order to make the company as much money as possible. I will be contacting corporate and making a complaint because thats borderline slavery. Treat your employees the way you want to be treated.
Came to Massage Envy because someone recommended Cynthia to me. I ended signing up for a 6 month massage package because she was that good at finding the trouble spots. 3 months down the road one scheduled massage is cancelled because they claimed she was injuried. 2 weeks later I call to see if Cynthia is doing better. They inform me she recently quit. No phone call to inform me that she quit, had to call to find out myself. No option to cancel the 6 month massage package, just put off on an other massause that wasnt up to the caliber of Cynthia. I have seen 2 other massause since Cynthia, and not even close. You pay for a 60 minute massage when actual its a 50 minute massage, 5 minute charge for changing clothes and another 5 minute charge for evaulating your discomfort. The tip scale provided is based on 60 minutes not the actual 50 minutes. They try to slight you at every chane it seems. Bad business concept, corporate peons that catch the wraith. I feel sorry for those who work here.
I was hopeful with the positive reviews of this location, but unfortunately, my review of this location is based on the fact that I can never get ahold of them. In the last month, I have attempted to call this location 8 times, and always get voicemail. Ive left two messages, only to get calls back hours later or even the next day (despite calling during business hours). Recently, I tried to schedule an appointment using their online tool, which allows you to select the massage you want and two dates/times that would work. Several hours later, I received a voicemail asking if I was still interested in scheduling a massage. Given that my schedule is hectic, I missed their call. This location really needs to manage their phones better - constantly just getting voicemail is offputting, and not customer focused.
This location is great to get in when you want a last minute massage. I had a membership and had massages from many different people. I also really enjoyed my facial! The staff are really nice and professional.
Its a decent deal for the price. The therapists are a little hit or miss so if you find a good one,make sure to get their name. If youre signing up for a membership get everything in writing, especially if you cancel.

I actually havent been to this location so it might seem odd to give it a 1, but the reason I havent been here is they do not answer the phone or respond to online inquiries. When a person finally responded to my request, she said they were booked. I then asked why nobody had responded to my online request from 4 days prior and she said, I dont know, I wasnt here...I have learned my lesson - I will take my business elsewhere.

Use caution. I’ve been to several massage envy locations and usually have a great experience however this was the worst therapist I’ve ever had. Not worth the money. Was counting the seconds until she was done.
A relaxing experience. All the masseuses are very good. My favourite are Jacob who uses a medium to heavy pressure when massaging, and Hans who uses a light to medium pressure. If the pressure is too light or too heavy just tell your masseuse and they will adjust the pressure to your liking.
Had an appointment scheduled and was told there was no appointment for me. I showed them proof of the appointment and they said there was nothing they could do to accommodate other than rescheduling. I drove all the way across town to be disappointed and to be offered nothing for the inconvenience. Genuinely sad with the experience.

The place wasn’t super nice like a 5* hotel spa but very clean. People were friendly and service was great. The price is much better if you do monthly pass.
