Stonewall Columbus

This place is a joke. I dropped my car off for a quote. it took 3 days after we called several times and when my car was there it was damaged and they will not call me back to correct it. DONT GO HERE.

Stopped in for a community event. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. I will definitely be back and would suggest this place to my friends.

The Stonewall Columbus Community Center has finally re-opened [November 2018] following a lengthy period of construction during which Stonewall staff members had worked in cramped temporary headquarters in a former house several blocks to the west at 172 W. Fifth Ave.The renovated Stonewall Columbus Community Center is vastly larger than the previous center and merges the former building [that had previously been a State Savings Bank for several decades] [that faces N. High St.] and a nearby building that had previously been a warehouse [but had been owned by Stonewall for several years before the renovations had begun] [that faces E. Fourth Ave. and is across the street from the 43201 Post Office].The renovated Stonewall Columbus Community Center has three floors, plenty of room [some of which is unused at present], and an elevator that connects all three floors. What had previously been the lobby of the former building [where the public would enter and interact with Stonewall staff members] is now a large art gallery; the entrance to that room is usually locked; a newly-constructed door immediately to the south of that door has become the main entrance.The familiar rectangular-shaped Center On High sign [with a square-shaped clock immediately below] [that has served as Stonewalls logo for many years] [and had been adapted from the sign from when that building had been a State Savings Bank] has either been moved further east or has been recreated in its new location to resemble the historical sign.

Totally awesome very friendly very helpful people its like family theres a greatest people in the world they help you find where you want to go they do whatever they can they go out of their way to make your day and I want to thank them myself God bless you all.

Not a place for me personally. The environment is well light and very clean but The employees seemed misinformed, ill trained, and manipulative... I wont be back...

Stonewall Columbus is a great place for the lgbtq community. they offer a lot of services, including counseling that specializes in lgbtq issues. I highly recommend looking into this for anybody whos a part of the community. You can stop by, and find out all the things they offer

Needs to improve on inclusivity for all - not just white with college degrees. But, nicest building in the Short North to suit its cliental.

The premier LGBTQ Organization in the United States. Beautiful repurposed and augmented building as well.

This organization brings shame to the Stonewall name and has no right to honor such an important legacy.Stonewall Columbus failed to protect the most marginalized in the LGBT community and testified against POC of color arrested.For an institution named after the Stonewall riots, a protest against police brutality led by queer/trans POC, they need to learn their history and fight for the most marginalized within the community.Deeply disappointing and shameful.

Very clean place to hold any kind of meeting or fundraising & function. They all are very supportive to all!!

Stonewall Columbus did nothing to support or protect 4 Black queer and trans protesters arrested and brutalized at their 2017 Pride parade. They have been virtually silent about the incident since and dodged meeting with the organizers about their demands. They claim to be a resource and source of support for LGBTQ folks in the city but havent even offered help with legal fees and representation for the #blackpride4. To make matters worse, theyve only further solidified their ties with Columbus Police despite their brutality against and danger to queer and trans people of color. Stonewall is a hypocritical bureaucratic facade of an organization supposedly for the protection and support of the LGBTQ community.

Great spot for classes or connecting with the community. My boyfriend and I take ballroom dancing classes here and absolutely love it!

Stonewall is a staple in Columbus that always supports the LGBT community. Very amazing staff that wants the best for all of us.
