Park Street Tavern

I recently visited the Park Street Tavern in Columbus, OH, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots in the city. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, perfect for a night out with friends or just to enjoy some great music.One of the highlights of my visit was the live music, which truly elevated the entire experience. The performers were talented, and the music set the perfect tone for a fun and lively evening. The energy in the room was infectious, and it was clear that everyone was having a fantastic time.

I was done for the night - walking back to the hotel. I was walking past this place and had to stop because of the music coming from inside. I only caught the very end of a jazz-type jam session, but really enjoyed the live music!

I really like it! Id never been. I dont live in C-bus anymore, so it was a pleasant surprise. Very nice staff and pretty bartenders.. 👌

Great selection of alcohol. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Music from Boom Box Riot was awesome. Great place to grab a drink and listen to music.

I went to 7 local places in 4 days in the convention center, short north, and arena zones. This one had a great vibe where I could have stayed and had fun for hours. The draft IPA was only $4.50!! The server dished up some popcorn and I was happy.

Lovely old time style tavern. Friendly top notch service. Aaraina and Quinn are awesome! Staff and patrons treat you like a regular. Jazz on Tuesday nights and live music on weekends. Sweet spot.

Cool bar in an older beautiful building . Staff is all super nice and out going . We went here both nights when we were visiting .We meet one of the bartenders Charlie both nights. Super cool guy and park st is lucky to have an employee like himThere were bands both nights we stopped in . Definitely check this place out

Decent place, but staff is not as friendly as I would have expected. Beer was cold, and Im happy with that.

Great little bar, fun atmosphere, good drinks. They have live music and DJs regularly which is really fun.

The manager Alyssa is unbelievably accommodating as well as her staff! They run a tight ship here and it has not gone unnoticed. I used the party space for an event and it was absolutely perfect!! Anything I needed or forgot was immediately taken care of. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

We had a fun time at PST doing karaoke on a Monday night. Drinks were reasonably priced.

We rented the party space for a 30th birthday celebration. All of the staff were great and really accommodating. There was clear communication ahead of the event. Anything that we forgot/needed was taken care of immediately. Would definitely recommend hosting a party here!

Favorite bar in Columbus. They always have great live music - if you’re into rock and roll, jam bands, funk and folk there is always something for you to see. Drinks are super affordable

This place is now part of every visit to Columbus. Live music is on point and the pool table and pinball adds to the fun. Plenty of local beers available as well

First time here. Friends brought me here on a road trip through Ohio. It is definitely worth a visit. Make sure to say hi to Brent the bar keep.

I love coming here! Moved to the area about a year ago and made this my frequent spot and the staff is absolutely amazing! Always caring and attentive. Alyssa is especially an amazing person and bartender!

The guy Matt who hosts Karaoke on Monday looks like the little boy from “The Sixth Sense” and that’s why I keep coming back. Also, they have free popcorn. No ducks tho, so I still would probably go to Tractor Supply first— but they don’t do Karaoke (YET!) so I guess I’ll keep coming here.Tip— acquire baby ducks.

This is the only bar worth going to in the Park Street area. They have a pool table, snacks, and sometimes Karaoke. It’s bit of a dive, but charmingly so. Its head and shoulders above the rest of the places on the street.

Supposed to be live music, was raunchy stand up comedy instead. No table service, no food.

LOVE this place! We have an annual party where we rent out the upstairs! This year was our 5th year & they did an amazing job! Alyssa is the absolute best & Eric was the perfect bartender! Highly recommend!

They charge you $1 credit card fee on a $4.50 beer. They dont tell you. Nickel and dime b.s: little chic behind bar got an attitude when I said you should have told me and I would have just given you cash. Essentially yelled at me and told me not to come back. No problem! Pathetic life. Look at the difference between reviews today I did at Condado Tacos. Ill go there before here hands down.

The developers here at Chase had our first holiday party here at park street tavern and Sam and Alyssa were AMAZING. The service was prompt, they were friendly and accommodating. We used an outside catering service and Park Street Tavern were able to accommodate what they forgot to include in the order. We look forward to having future parties here!

We had our sons college graduation party here and everything went great. The catered food was a big hit, and everyone we know are all food snobs. Our bartender was super attentive and kept up with us. The upstairs private room was perfect for our group.

The 3 piece band that played on Friday the 24th of September was spectacular! They did a rendition of Hendrix that, while you knew it came from him, they made it their own. Wonderful job fellas!I liked this place. The layout, clean restroom, nice bar, and the band!Ill definitely visit again.

This is a good spot to go if you want to have a cocktail in that havent been real crowded. This is my second time visiting the bar the bartender is very friendly and I bet it somewhere very nice people there. There was still karaoke and thats why I went its a bartender told me that thats usually on Thursday nights so it looks like Ill be back on Thursday. When the other surrounding bars are super busy this is the perfect spot for me.

The karaoke nights are fun, the food is a little bit strange that the only have snacks, but theyre perfectly fine. The drinks are called along with the beverages that they have for younger people that are not allowed to have alcohol, so I give this a 5 star rating

Very relaxed atmosphere . Group of guys started to get roudy…. Staff managed it well. Trouble makers left.

The ultimate neighborly bar in the heart of the downtown area. With rotating options for live local vocal talent, an array of libations and neighborly patrons, this locale is a must! The service is perfection, with attention to detail. If you get hungry, there might not be an on-premise kitchen to serve bar eats, however you can catch the rotating food truck on certain evenings. If that isnt available and you can entertain your appetite with bar snacks, just ask the bar staff and theyll kindly oblige. Dont forget the pool tables to entertain your competitive side.

If you pay enough money for a private party, you can hear all the mediocre, aggressive white men drop the N word care free in karaoke without repercussion from staff. A+ Christian, I hope you had the day you deserve.

Had a really good time here while our friend was performing with her band. Drink prices are good and service was top notch.

Got two beers. Music was loud, loud atmosphere, but somehow some way, the bartender thought I said, buy 3 Patron shots, that were $12 a piece for the 3 girls standing by me, when I came with different girls. Maybe theyll hire better staff, but theres nothing special at this bar versus any other bar

Decent place, looks kinda run down. I got there early with very few people there, wasnt sure what their selection would be like. Pumpkintini was very good (even though the bartender didnt know how to make it and it was on their menu!). Band was fine, but its a small place - so it got very loud very quickly, couldnt carry a conversation. Worst part is the bathrooms are up stairs - not a smart idea at an establishment for alcohol.

One of my favorite local stops. Working in the Arena District this was a normal stop for me. The staff are ALL amazing. Worth a stop if youve got time, great liquor selection and a good rotation of craft drafts/cans.

This place was awesome! They had karaoke the night I went and the girl running the show was really nice. This was the perfect spot for me as I am from the country. It was not jam packed and the people there were very friendly and likeable. I will definitely visit here again when I come back to Columbus.

Thisll be pretty lengthy lol. This place seems dope but Ive never been here before. Im from OH as well though (Circleville, OH- 40 some min drive probably, but Id still like to check it out sometime.) But anyway, yesterday I had a good small talk with PST on the Instagram DMs and we said Go Bucks to each other and I loved it. Then I told whoever it was I was talking to that I saw that they got an individual who works there and I said some pretty nice things (Id say what they were but I dont wanna get judged, its crazy though that thats a possibility) I also said that Im autistic, which is true I really am, and when I said that I was left on read then after a while I got blocked. My point of writing all this is that I feel as though businesses and individuals alike need to try their best to understand individuals like me and that I didnt mean any harm. I was just trying to improve my social skills, and hopefully all this can get resolved asap and Id still be down to go to this bar if its cool.

Great small venue for local bands. Has a small dance floor. Pool table and a few other games in back as well as a walled in patio. They dont have food available. But you are allowed to bring food in from other sources.

I highly recommend visiting on a Tuesday night, they have live jazz starting at 8. Drinks are pretty cheap and the vibe is always pretty chill. My only gripe about this place is it smells a wee bit like a urinal cake from time to time, but dont let stop you from visiting!

A no frills bar that only serves alcohol, BYOF. Live bands, different music i.e jazz, rock, etc and karaoke. Sam is an excellent bar tender and the staff is very friendly and professional. They serve local beers and other spirits. I highly recommend a visit!

Good dive. Pool tables and pin ball. Enough TVs to watch the game. Just enough beers on tap to keep a beer guy like myself satisfied. Didnt try the food. Definitely would stop by again if in the area!

Great staff. The bartenders are just fantastic. Youre very fortunate if you get either Heather, Krissy, Andrew, Eric, Alison, or really anyone. And the live entertainment is always on point.

Nice atmosphere and great bartenders! Didnt have the ingredients to make my drink, but they did for my second favorite

I had 3 beers. I ordered a beer for my friend while she stood next to me and they didnt ask which tab it should go on, so it wound up on mine. Fine. When I get my tab, they charge me for 6 beers. We try to dispute this and the very rude and condescending bartender tells us she knows she served me 4 beers. Ok. My tab says 6. I would probably be on the floor of I had 6. Also charged me for shots I didnt order. Wound up splitting it with my friend just to get out of there.

This place is awesome. Ive been there twice now, and both times were amazing. Live music & the service was great. Its a really cool place to hang out.

Love this place. Brings back alot of memories. Havent been there in ages. Not many bars have pinball machines and video golf anymore. Nice change of atmosphere.

What a great pub! This is a very old feeling bar, and very comfortable. Seems to attract late 20s and 30 year olds. Live music on weekends. I highly recommend stopping in the next time youre close by.

Fun Place! Live music almost every night. Typically there is a fun young crowd really getting into the music. My experience is that the service has always been good.

I wouldnt even give this place one star. Came in from out of town for a business seminar and wanted to hang out at a calm place with live music. When the bartender asked for our ID, she kept saying they were fake, when they really werent and gave us a hard time. We asked for our IDs back in order to fly home the next day but wouldnt hand them over. I would never suggest this place to anyone if they came to visit or even the people I know who live close by. She ruined our night and we were hesitant to even go anywhere else that we just went back to the hotel. Ive never dealt with someone so rude at a bar.

Good little pub more relaxed than the crazy young people bars nearby. Friendly staff and $4 Stella drafts a happy relief from NY/NJ prices.

I normally cant stand Park Street in general due to no longer being in college, but this place stands out. We had a surprise birthday party for a friend here, and everything went incredibly well. Great atmosphere/drink selection, great staff, and an overall great time.

Awesome live music, friendly staff, cool customers. We came in for an overnight trip and will be visiting every time were in town!

It gets a little packed in here, but thats what makes it fun. Often difficult to maneuver to the bar for your next drink, but this is not a trendy place like so many others around. Leave your attitude at the door and youll have a great time.

Best Bar in the Arena District by a fairly wide margin. Good music at night and a chill, friendly smaller crowd in the afternoon. Keno and a legit craft tap selection.

Really down to earth setting! Met the owner, awesome guy, bartenders were very friendly and atmosphere was neighborhood bar with cleanliness and plenty of options! Great spot!

The atmosphere is great here. Sometimes there is a karoke night. The main entrance is on the side. I would definitely come here with a group of friends. Be mindful of when you can because parking is never great.

Tried heavens door bourbon there and it was smooth

This is one of the coolest bars in all of Columbus. Tonight the band played lots of cover songs from Creedance to Tom Petty to Smashmouth. Small crowds, good draft beer selection, and a pool table.

Cheap drinks and great live music! There is a pool table and plenty of televisions, and keno. There is a smoking patio out back if you are into that kind of thing.

Went here for my 21st birthday, had my first legal drink for free, plus live music! If you like the Grateful Dead come to this bar!

Went to see Terrapin Moon after ComFest - great show! The place was packed, but even so bar staff was quick and attentive.

Drinks were super expensive but the bartenders were friendly and karaoke was fun. Complementary bar snacks like cheesits and popcorn are available.

I have a few really good memories here. Even met a couple of people who are now good friends.

Manager is probably the worst foosball player ever, but bar is a great place to grab a drink and listen to good music.

This is where i found my one true love.... Down East Cider. At the time it was the only bar in the country selling it on tap.
