Great venue. Hilarious comics. Went with a buddy had a great time. This is the challenge. Closing the check out at the end of the comic performance. This is a very important part of their routine. Having someone walking around and distracting from the end of the show bad timing.Amazing service, though.
The comedy was great and the staff were friendly. The food and drinks were a little disappointing, though. Particularly the smoked old fashioned and the queso. The old-fashioned clearly used liquid smoke was way too sweet and artifically smokey. I suggest sticking to canned and bottled drinks. The queso was bland and watery.
LOVED the talent, however cannot imagine becoming a regular with the prices. Ticket prices plus two drink minimum per person; a single vodka soda ran $15, for reference. Again, the comics were amazing. I just wish comedy could be more accessible.
2 drink minimum to support the venue, didnt know when I bought the tickets but I totally understand. Very intimate room so you can be close up to your favorite comedians! Highly recommend this spot! Free parking and friendly staff.
We had a great time here. The comedy was great, and the wait staff was awesome! The selection of food was surprisingly tasty. Plenty of parking and the venue was very clean. The bartender had a heavy pour. Well definitely be back soon!
Hard to find since gps had us going in circles around the various parking lots but the comedians were hilarious! And Cookie Williams cookies..I recommend the chocolate chip. Would definitely go again..
Tickets said 915pm. So we got in line at 830pm. Got all checked in with ID, drink bracelet, metal detector. Then waited in a hot non air conditioner hallway from 830pm to 945pm. Such a turn off. Overall the show was fun. Plan to spend over $50 for drinks. Will I do it again, no. Better venue
The comedy show was great. The issue I had was making people wait outside in the freezing cold. We were standing out in the rain and wind for an hour waiting for the doors to open other comedy shows Ive been to have a bar we can go and have drinks before the show thats my only complaint other than that staff was very friendly and the show was good.
For those of you complaining about the two drink minimum - I hope you realize this is the standard for most comedy clubs in America. Most of the money you spent on the ticket goes straight into the comedians pocket, not the clubs.A comedy club is a business, and businesses cost money to run. They have to pay rent, utilities, and employee wages like any other business. How do you expect them to pay for those things with the few dollars they get from their share of the ticket? Its the same reason the drinks and popcorn at movie theaters cost so much. They only get a small portion of the ticket sales. Also, the person who said water is $15 is off their head. Its $6 for a Liquid Death tall boy. Watch Netflix at home if youre too cheap to buy drinks.
We’ve been to two shows at this club in the last month. We probably will not be back for the following reasons… we paid the same price for our tickets as everybody else. But the people that were buying the overpriced booze in the bar before the show were seated first! Don’t like this at all. The doors should open to all ticket holders at the same time. When I asked about this policy I was told they were seated first because they were spending money at the bar! SMHDid I mention that there’s a two drink minimum? Overpriced drinks… fifteen dollars to twenty dollars ? This could easily double the cost of seeing a show.Come here if you want to get ripped off.Otherwise there’s plenty of other comedy venues in the area. We certainly plan to check them out!
Dont like the area, security measures are extreme with the metal detectors etc. I also dont like being seated at the table with strangers who look at me like they dont want me there. I dont feel safe at all in my life, so I cant go somewhere where Im being treated like the one who is likely to be a threat. I literally run to my car because I have NO protection thanks to them. Ill just have to miss certain comics if they perform here.
We came on a Sunday night for a show. We were kinda disappointed that there was only one server taking drink and food orders on the floor. Took a while to get our orders placed, the waitress didnt seem too organized. Show was awesome (John Heffron) which is why we ranked higher than we would have.
I didnt realize there were two places at the Punchline. Today I went to a little smaller club The Callback Bar . Here was a little nicer, more quaint location on the side of the bigger space. The bigger space has a bigger name, this place had four you and coming comedians that a casual attendant wouldnt know. However, I can see why its called the Call back. These were funny comedians, just not completely polished, or in the case of the MC, and the final two comics, just not yet discovered by a mass audience.
Its the best comedy club option in the area. Beer prices are a little steep and food options are pretty meh but what else do you expect for a Live nation spot. The people working here are top notch.
Saw Kristina Kuzmic at a 4:30 pm showing. Had a fantastic time! Staff was friendly and the drinks and snacks we ordered were tasty. Happy that patrons were asked for proof of vaccination upon entry and all the staff wore masks. There were also hand sanitizer stations placed around and extra masks Available. Definitely recommend!
Went on a Thursday night, pretty funny that they had a motorcycle convention in the parking lot outside 🤣 Made for some extra funny jokes. Drinks and staff were great. Thanks for a good time, Punch Line!
Food is decent. Get the loaded chips! Drinks are pricey but not watered down. Call back bar talent is fair. Staff are great. Parking is free and easy to find.
Have been to the punchline Sacramento several times now over the past few years for live comedy. Love the easy parking, good security screening procedures, friendly representatives, food and drink options and of course the talent that finds their way here. Tickets are affordable for most shows and makes for a great double date activity.
Seen multiple shows over the years and Ive always had a good time here. Of course drinks are ridiculously priced. But thats expected with this type of thing. Service has always been good though. Waiting in line to get in is relatively painless. And its always cool to catch some up and comers here. Parking hasnt been a problem, but sometimes you may need to look around some of the connected lots a bit depending on the day. Overall Id come back to see more shows here.
Fun times. Saw 4 or 5 comedians who were real funny, but they didnt really market their social media other than a shout out at the end of their bit so I forgot them. Not a fan of a 2 drink minimum. The prices are kinda ridiculous. Mixed drinks are $15 to $20 each. Water was $8. I just hope that the comedians are being compensated well.
I always have a great time at this venue but last night our server was terrible, it was like she was on something or just not the brightest. We ordered drinks and it took over 45 minutes for her to bring them to us and when I ordered a second drink she never brought it. Then when the show was over she brought us the bill and I asked where my second drink was and she said “oh I forgot it” I tried getting her attention plenty of times and she was so spaced out she kept walking past our table.
This place is iconic for the many great comedians that have performed here like Dave Chappell, Jo Koy, George Lopez, Chris Rock, and many more…Been coming to Punchline for years but stopped during the pandemic. It was a nice surprise to see the new updated look that only adds to the vibrant energy throughout the night. No matter where you are seated, thanks to the remodel, the seating is staggered so you have a clear view of the stage. Headliner, Adam Ray’s energy was invigorating and I laughed the entire time. Both openers were funny too. Can’t wait to watch and laugh again!!
Small quarters, stage is not bigger than a slab of plywood from home Depot but but hear me now for the right comedy its worth it. 2 drink minimum. They take your orders (everyone at once coming in the door rapidly) that they overlook a lot of ppl who end up getting there drinking in the middle of the performance. My experience was delayed. If youre a person with grips on things like that and no patience it will piss you off but if your a cool cucumber you are good 😊💯. The place is clean, they do have a full bar and a lot of security so you will feel safe while enjoying the comedy.
We had a very nice time. The server was attentive, staff was friendly, security was present in case there was an issue, but there wasnt. The venue is nice, cant necessarily recommend the food as we only had drinks, but the drinks werent much more expensive than I remember from years back. We enjoyed all for comics we saw, but obviously your results May vary.
Cozy spot to watch comedy. The main area can get crowded. The options for food are good but would like more non alcoholic and caffeine free options.
Cozy place to experience great comedy. This really not a bad seat in the place. Food was good, not great. There is a two drink minimum person.
Staff have always treated me with a lot of respect and waitresses, especially Jessica and Julia are always friendly and working hard to serve everyone. My favorite place for comedy.
The comedic talent was good and i would have been a regular with my group of friends had it not been for how they treat their guests, and the prices they are charging. First we have reasonable incomes all of us, but we did feel pretty ripped off with their admission coupled with the two drink minimum. Somehow drinks that we did not want to have to drink but were forced upon us, costing us $100. We bought three beers, one cocktail and a Shirley Temple soda. So on top of our tickets we spent $100 on medicocre drinks. The cocktail was definitely not good, and the beers were crazy overpriced. By the time we got the second round of drinks from the waitress that were forced upon us because of this 2 drink minimum, the show was wrapping up. Then they told everyone to leave immediately no matter the fact that we had full drinks in front of us. Super tacky and cheap and unnecessary. Its one thing to not allow additional beverages to be ordered but you should certainly let your guests finish. The lady said you dont have to go home but you cant stay here. That was 5-10 minutes after the show ended- ridiculous. Also to wrap up the show by rushing people out after forcing them to drink is just encouraging drunk driving . Theres nowhere else in this entire Shopping Center or anywhere nearby where one can go to recover from your drinks before you have to hit the road . I would select another comedy club for sure over coming back here.
Im a regular at the punchline love coming here for the late shows . Pretzels are good and drinks are strong. They have a great lineup week after week
Ive been to MANY comedy clubs and this would be top 5. Great size and layout for stand-up, located on 2nd floor in the strip mall. Contrary to other reviews, very easy to find & well marked. One thing I have to say is that like EVERY OTHER comedy club Ive been to, theres a 2 drink minimum, which I have no problem with, but the insane thing is all of the drafts are 22 oz, all of the cans are 24 oz.! Again, zero issue with drink minimum, but with a minimum should come more reasonable portions... Non-alcoholic beverages count for minimum as well, drive safe out there or ride-share folks!
Great comedians, but the two drink minimum is ridiculous. I already paid $30+ dollars per ticket to get into the venue… then I had to shell out another $40 for two drinks plus tip. No thank you.
Overcharged my card, or I should say fraudulently charged my card for drink I did not order. $84 dollars later for 3 drinks..? Make it make sense. Never going back here again.
I always love this place. Its the best place to see comedy in sac. Always prefer this to any other venue due to the fact that its intimate and still pulls in great comedians.
Ive told myself for years that Id check this place out, and when I finally did, I wasnt disappointed. To be fair, though, it wasnt the main room of Punchline, but rather The Call-Back Bar, which kind of like a Voltron lion: a small part of a greater whole. It had a nice, quiet, comforting armosphere, if somewhat cramped. The servers were kind, considerant, and discreet enough to avoid interrupting the stand-up. Speaking of, some jokes were better than others (as is true of all things) but overall, I was thoroughly entertained.Therere only two reasons its getting 4 and not 5 stars: the two-drink minimum, a concept I dont agree with (especially when you already have to pay an entrance fee), and the prices in general. A basket of three pretzel buns and dipping sauce for 11 bucks? Cmon, now. A tab for said pretzel buns, the required two drinks, and an alcoholic beverage for my friend ran for $40. Its...not great.Still, I do recommend Wednesday nights at The Call-Back Bar. Youll get your fair share of laughs. Just make sure you have a spare 20 or two.
We came to see Kelsey Cook specifically. Too bad it wasnt very busy for the late show but she was very good & funny. The food was very good too.
This is a great place for laughs!! Just went tonight and watched mortified It was awesome! You too should check it out!Tonight was People reading their funny, explicit journals from their teenage years!! It was a great show.Ive also seen plenty of stand up comedy their! Always Plenty of laughs!!!The atmosphere is great! The service is great!!The place looks cool!Seating is pretty good, comfortable. The Food is pretty great also!!! The menu has a good selection!Theres always a 2 drink minimum so dont be surprised or shocked if your told that. But in the end, if your day wasnt so great. Go see a comedy show and have some great laughs!!! To make the rest of your night good.
This place is horrible! They sit total starngers together and packed in like sardines; six of us sat at a 4-top. You cant order/go to the bar. The can beer is flat and the service is horrrible!
Very organized and clean. Friendly staff and intimate setting. Solid comedy venue!
Pay cash! They will overcharge your card! Have been here over 20 times and it just seems to get worse. Youll be elbow to elbow on both sides, and 2 drink minimum is such a rip off when the cheapest drink (can water) costs $15 each!
Went here to check it out after an appointment earlier in the day. My date and I really enjoyed the comedians. We have been to the punchline in SF and this venue is nice, very small and intimate so you get to really experience the show and the space. 2 drink minimum as usual, a little pricey but part of the set up. Wait staff was very fast and friendly. We will totally go back again when we are in the area.
Excellent staff, fantastic drinks. The show was amazing!
Nice experience. First of all every person we interacted with that worked there was professional and friendly. Second we had great seats right next to the stage for $23. Tables were $33. I dont see the advantage of the 33 dollar seats. The only reason for only rating 4 stars was food and drink prices and quality of the drinks. We paid $18 dollars for 2 orders of French fries (my wife for some reason had a carb craving). Also wasnt impressed with either the blood orange margarita or the spa treatment drink. Ordered a Sierra Nevada for $8.50 as my second drink just to be safe. Total cost for food and drink was $65. Overall enjoyed the evening. Also just thought about this but got the tickets discounted so basically it cost $100 for a night out with my wife. Pic is sight line from our seat.
We had a blast. Its mandatory to buy 2 drinks each person, bought us by surprise..
Punch line brings in some really funny folks. Myles Weber was hilarious. It’s exactly what I’d expect for ambiance and service as in the photos.A great spot to catch some funny (and occasionally less so) people. Been satisfied every time we’ve gone so far
The host seated us right at the stage, and we knew theres always a chance of getting pulled in to the show, but normally, at good venues, thats ok. Its balanced and ends up being respectful. But at this venue, it quickly became clear that we were white bait. You think youre so clever, but Shame on you, and hope youre suitably embarrassed. You lost sight of the fact that we are your customers. We paid a lot of money that you need to run your business.Time to grow up.
Honestly a nice place. The drinks are too expensive for being required and food subpar for the price. Otherwise good vibes.
Ive been to two shows here with major comics and always have a great time! The service, drinks, staff all top notch.
Saw Erica Rhodes there on Sunday night. What a great show!!! Staff needs to smile a little more, though. Long wait for drinks. Seems like they might have been understaffed, though. Great venue. Theyll get another chance to impress me on the 17th.
The drink service was a little slow, but I had a great time overall.
I like this little gem. Good view of stage no matter where you sit. Food is decent...pleasant staff. Please have your ticket already downloaded on your phone or in Google wallet..it annoys both the staff and the long line behind to wait while you log into ticketmaster. Lastly...be prepared for 2 drink minimum and $15 beers...I didnt say it was cheap...
Its always a fun time, tho a bit slow with the employees also. Also, since they removed their pull pork bbq sandwich, the menu has not many options.
Fun show to watch, nice staff and people. Good atmosphere.Downside is;Prices on drinks and food is just over the top. 2 drink minimum forces me to drink more than id like. 4 people total, 3 beers, 4 mix drinks and some easy bar food was 150 dollars. Also, im from out of state and not used to California prices so it might just be on me and its normal to pay 15 dollars for a beer. Thanks for good evening
Bought the only tickets available that were general admission. The information from the venue that they sent out said “first come first serve”. We were the first people there and waited in the line for the doors to open for over an hour so that we could sit up front. They then let all the people in the bar go in first about 10 minutes before us in the line. Then assigned us seats off to the side saying that the middle was reserved. We asked around and no one had reserved their tables it was a complete lie. All around it felt like they were being shady about everything, would not recommend.
A really decent place. The food was good and the drinks were solid. The two drink minimum doesnt start till youre seated so be warned if youre lurking in the bar before the show. The staff was really rad too. Hope to go to more shows here in the future.
Great place, staff and funny comedians start to finish. The 2 drink minimum is standard but the prices were basically the same or more than SF comedy clubs which was surprising.
Crowded, too many people crammed together at one tiny table. Food wasnt great considering the price so I might not order food there but the show was great! The guys at the door were hilarious as well!
BEWARE OF CREDIT CARD FRAUD!!! Yesterday, I attended an event at the Punch Line with my family. We ordered drinks and dessert and the waitress took my debit card to hold it for our tab at the beginning of the show. She later returned it, I paid my bill. I checked my account after we left the establishment and I discovered that someone had made four changes using my debit card in the time frame the wait staff was in possession of my debit card! Beware, the Punch Line has criminals on staff!
Great atmosphere and service. The comedians were stellar!
I had a horrible experience tonight at the Aries spear show. I could not believe how my party and I was treated and it was my sister birthday. I would not go back... Racial profiling is real. I have never felt like that before. I was amazed especially at the comedian. He will never get me money #Ariesspears Do your research before you go see him. What he did to my party was VERY INAPPROPRIATE AND UNCALLED FOR!!!!!
So fun, great servers, generous drinks, and overall wonderful atmosphere
A great venue to see any stand up comic. Just big enough that you have a little breathing room but still small enough to feel youre among friends. We saw Chad Daniels & it was one of the funniest stand up shows weve attended this winter. We ordered a Gummy Bear Beer, a signature Sacramento drink znd 2 sodas. We also got the loaded fries. Both drinks & food were good but nothing outstanding. Prices were pretty comparable to other clubs in more densely populated areas such as Sacramento. My friend & I both agree we would not hesitate to go see stand up there again.
Intimate venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Staff was super friendly and hospitable. Show was amazing. Saw Jay Mohr and the mans still got it. Openers were great. A hilarious evening. 2 drink minimum. Lots of great NA options too. Enjoyed the Liquid Death Mango Chainsaw. Will be back and highly recommend Punchline for a fun night out.
The show was great and the performers were excellent, but it was my first time at this venue and I wasn’t impressed. Extremely high prices on drinks with a required 2 drink minimum. I paid for the refill option and my refill order definitely was not a double like the menu claims. I could tell the difference in strength when comparing my first drink to my second. My thing is, you already force everyone to buy $30+ of drinks, so why not make the drinks the way you advertise? The show only cost us about $40, but almost $100 on 4 basic drinks is ridiculous. This is a main factor in why I most likely won’t return to this venue
I mean, what can I say the place is a landmark in Sacramento the overall atmosphere is great. The comedians that are booked bring their a game and the service is good. My only issue and it’s not a huge one. Is you have to go to get your ticket and show your ID and then you literally turn around to have your ID scanned with your ticket so they have to check your ID again after they just checked your ID five seconds ago makes no sense. They can do all of that at one quick swoop but other than that great place great ambience I will always go weather for a well-known comic or a newer sort of amateur night you can find diamond in the rough at this location. Look at the great Lance woods has gone on to do huge things on Amazon prime and also for the Sacramento queens I mean kings.
Been here 3 times so far and every time has been nothing short of excellent. The shows are always hilarious and the staff at the club are awesome! Everyone is super friendly and really makes the whole experience extra special. The food and drinks are tasty as well!
The club is small and they pack you in. Some drinks top 22.00 dollars. This is Sacramento not Las Vegas or Los Angeles. They require 2 drinks per person. We were VIP and sat in the corner and looked at the backs of the performers through most of the show. The manager was in unapologetic and appeared to not care about his job. We go to a lot of comedy shows in various locations and prefer better venues. Not impressed with this place at all. If I could give it 0 start I would.
The show was good, but I ordered a flatbread pizza before the show at 7, and it never arrived. The rest of my table got their orders. I checked with the waitress twice and she said she thought it was still coming, but it would be taken off the bill either way. It wasnt. Left hangry.
$700 for 2 tickets seated in wall corner to see the backs of preformers. They pack people in here. Not open seating. After arriving early. 2 drink minimum. Ice has funny taste. Nonalcohol Drinks sucked. The venue sucked. Skip this location.+ met some ppl outside said they got discount ticketsat door and were seated up front. Its a bust.
Steve Hofstetter is awesome and his warm-ups are just about as good.Unfortunately menu/drink prices after price of the ticket make th his an unaffordable venue for disabled Veterans...I was lucky and got this as a Christmas present. For me it is a once on a lifetime event. Not a whenever hes in town or an every other week date night... Not the way it should be.Food was prepared well but for prices.. Something more than drive thru window plastic cups and cardboard containers should be a requirement...
Ali Siddiq was amazing, but the seats at punch line was horrible. I bought 2 tickets a week a head..but couldnt choose were we sat, the chairs were super uncomfortable. Which made me sit weird for Almost two hours. After a great show, I was left with a mild back n leg ache lol..and Im not that old to walk out of there looking like I need a cane.
Some friends and I decided to check out our local comedy club and we were not disappointed in the least. The venue and staff were amazing! There was a smooth and friendly transaction from the time we walked in to the time we walked out. Keep in mind this was the first time a couple of my friends had ever been to a comedy club and let’s just say we’ll be coming back very soon. We were able to watch Mark Normand and overall it was an amazing experience. Downside: They do have a two drink minimum (Yes, I said minimum) which really makes you spend more than you’d like but if you are all for having a good time out I would highly recommend the Punch Line!
Don’t bother paying for GA+ Tickets. I’ve been twice now and the first time I bought GA tickets and was sat CLOSER to the stage than I did the second time when I paid the extra $20 for “better seats”.Show was great, but the venue itself is less than desirable especially after pulling a scam like making people pay $20 extra for “better” seats only to be sat against the far wall at a 4 top table with 6 people….
The comedian and warm up was funny, the food was good (for what it was, bar food), but we were jam-packed in there. Still a bit unexpected/odd to go in places with no vaccination or testing requirements. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful.
Good experience with TJ Miller & the other opening acts were funny too! Female comedian on 3/9/24 was hilarious 😂
Love this place. Just saw the AYG Boyz and they blew my compression socks off. Great service and friendly staff. Punch Line Sacramento is the best.
Really great venue with amazing headliners! Saw Joel Kim and awesome opening acts. The security, staff, waitstaff are very friendly, fast and accommodating. Very fun and relaxed venue to enjoy comedy! And the tickets were a great value! Only feedback is wish the night was longer - maybe even one more opening act - I wasn’t ready to go home from such a great experience.
Had such a fun night. If you havent been before, theres a two drink minimum, and please remember to tip. Punchline consistently delivers shows that are worth more than the ticket price. Its located upstairs and down the long hall. They have a metal detector. I wear a couple of medical devices that cant go through them and they are always accommodating and use the wand so I dont have to risk malfunction of my devices. The staff is always friendly. Ive only had a couple food items but both were decent. No complaints. Definitely recommend.
Man be prepared, whatever you paid for tickets also requires a 2 drink purchase. And they are charging 14-16 for a 16oz beer and around the same for cocktails. Venue is nice but prepared for an extra 30 or 10 for two sodas.
Punchline rules are too strict. I saw a show and they refused to let me back in to use the restroom. The line was too long when the show got out. The restriction on the size of your purse is way too severe. I tried to transfer my $50 tickets to my sisters and they refused. Even though I talked to them the night before about it. Also for $50 tickets I think its extravagant to make people pay for food and 2 drinks that cost another $40 to $50. I do not know any other club that does that. The manager was nice. Lady at entrance helpful. Waitresses good. But you need to lighten up the rules
Fantastic venue! Theyve made great improvements with a new entryway, box office, and added a lounge. Theres a good menu and drink selection. You can definitely hear the comics. If anything the sound was a little too loud.
Great fun! Thought Id get bad seats but I came just a bit early and got a great table. Great servers. Funny funny! We enjoyed the couple we were seated with too. All around good time with lot of laughs. Support your local comedians!
Had a great time at K-9 Cop Comedy Show 😂🤣
Sheng Wang was phenomenal! Great location with intimate vibes and good service. 2 drink minimum.
Great Show.. However staff wasnt that pleasant and the Manager Omar wasnt quite customer service savy. I mentioned the drinks and food were $3-4 higher then other clubs, he responsed were owned by Live Nation and has nothing to do with that and we may leave if we didnt purchase 4 items. At one point he had a security guy come to me and asked us to leave, I responded I will but I want my refund right now. I stayed and the comics were great. Laugh Factory is much better with their management and staff. I will never attend this punchline again 😡
Great comedy club even if it is next to a mattress store. There seems to always be that table that talks too loudly. Staff are great and it’s a blast catching Steve Hostetler whenever he’s in town.
Went here with some friends for a birthday. Ended up buying food and drinks. This location has a two-drink minimum so be prepared and bring some spending money (card or cash). The comics were all pretty funny, a little bit of something for everybody. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, comics call out to audience, employees are quick and respectful.Would not mind coming back here again, I think everyone should go here at least once.
I absolutely loved my time here. I went to see Shayne Smith who was headlining at the time and in hindsight I probably should have worn an adult diaper because the entire show was so hilarious I am confident I was going to pee myself had there been one more story. The staff there are quick, attentive, and kind and the drinks are great as well. I will return!
Got last minute tickets to Carlos Rodriguez show on New Years Eve! We had to take our purses back to the car (10x10 inches [super small] or clear bags only) But the show was fantastic! The host Wendy danced 💃🏿 her way to the stage and kept us entertained between sets! It was our first time there. We got upgraded to premium seats! And it was a good turnout. We laughed our way into the New Year!
This club is small and nice for the most part. The wait was ridiculous to get into the show. They should let you know ahead youll be standing in line before being seated and the show started late for who knows what reason. Rude to not let people know that. Several workers passed all of us but said nothing.
Had a good line up. My Daughter and I had a good time. Drink selection was good. Menu looked good but we ate before the show. No photos as they are not permitted. But good show. Shayna thank you for the tickets.
OK, I Would Like To Give A Shout Out To The Security Team, EspeciallyZachary and Steven..... For Their Quick Response, Professionalism and Going The Mile in making SURE We was OK. Ive Been Thinking About Them All Day and How Awesome They Were.Zach, Steven.... I THANK U and Appreciate You for being So Kind 💓You waited for Our Uber and Made Sure We Was Good... Bless You
Amazing service, great energy, fun atmosphere, super funny comedians! The chicken fingers and garlic fries were amazing! I also loved my Screwed over cocktail. I highly recommend Punchline. Well be going back very soon!
Jeselnik was very effective. The venue was great, two drink minimum was a bit late in the set but still friendly and a good view of the performance.
Kind staff that were accommodating to my friend in a wheelchair and myself. However, my front and center table 2 tickets were not accessible, and we were sat to the side in the back. I understood, but I wish I could’ve gotten some money refunded for cheaper seats or something. (Nothing on the site implied they were not handicap accessible.)But again, the staff and manager were super kind and accommodating! Great show from Eric Andre! Thank you all for everything! Fun atmosphere and I was thankful heckling was NOT tolerated. :)
The show itself was amazing. But it’s way overly priced. And they have this 2 drink requirement. Which there cheapest drink is 5.00. For a soda was 5.00. The veggie platter we got like 4 slices of cucumber 5 carrots and 2 slices of celery and 1 tomato slice. For 11 dollars. And to top it off the menu said add on sides garlic fries for 4.00 but when we got our ticket it was 9. It was so busy in there that our server wasn’t very attentive, which wasn’t her fault. And to top it off, I was texting my daughter who is home by herself and a staff member told me not to use my phone. I said am not recording nor am I taking pictures and I had the phone down below the table cloth. Calm down it’s not that serious of a show to ask parents who have children at home to not use their phones. We ended up spending 50 and it was a total waste of money had it not been for the show. Plus a super Awkward location.
Saw a show this past weekend and the comedian was amazing! I’m only giving 3 stars for a lack in communication, long wait times, poor COVID policies. The doors for the show opened at 9:15pm and the show started at 9:45pm. We didn’t get in until almost 9:45pm because the doors opened so late. When we were seated, we noticed that the whole place was packed. (The people next to us said they had added chairs to the tables.. during a pandemic.) Despite their online COVID policy stating that masks are required unless eating or drinking- no one seemed to be enforcing this policy as there were countless people not wearing masks. I wouldn’t be surprised if this place turns into a COVID hotspot. And listen, on their website, it does say that they are operating at full capacity, but we didn’t expect it to be THAT FULL. And adding extra chairs to tables? This place should be checking vaccine cards at the door if they’re going to put that many people in there. Additionally, there’s a two drink minimum, but we didn’t get our first drinks until almost 45 minutes in. Overall, great comedian but they could be doing more to make people more safe and provide more communication and transparency about wait times, COVID policy, seating arrangements, etc.
The security guy almost ruin my night, minus10 stars for him but thanks to Julia we ended up having a great time. What a sweet and professional server. Great job, you rock Julia!!!!!
If I could give 0 stars I would. The place is dated and the menu is outrageously priced especially for forcing you to buy two items even after purchasing tickets to attend the show. The experience I was subjected to while I was there on a triple date with friends has left an awful taste in all of our mouths.I was pulled from my seat and essentially kicked out for being “asleep and disrespectful to the artist”. Which is absolutely absurd I was certainly not asleep. When my husband retaliated their ridiculous accusations he and I were both escorted from the building after spending so much money at their venue only to be humiliated and disrespected.I am frustrated and confused and will never be returning.
Nice place in a weird location. Being located in a strip mall has to give comics a free joke every time they come to the Sac Punch Line. But, the place is nice intimate comedy club and overall an enjoyable venue. Drinks and menu are decent, they were out of a number of menu items the night we were there, but wouldnt say it was a big deal. Chris Porter show was great and he continues to be one of the more under rated comics in the business.
We saw Gene Pompa tonight and had a great time! Lots of fun and everyone was friendly. They have a nice selection on the menu and even some healthy items like veggies with hummus. Highly recommend this comedy club. Will definitely be back again.
If you can get past the sometimes awkward seating arrangement ..then this place is the bee’s knees.Food is surprisingly good, ordered the Margharita Pizza and chicken strips. I’ve tried the nachos and would actually get those next time instead of the chicken strips (which were pretty run-of-the-mill).The shows we have seen here have been gut busting, the bar tenders are generous with their pours, the servers are friendly and the setting is intimate -which is awesome considering the talent that go through this place. We always say that if we owned a comedy club, we would hope for it to be like The Punchline in Sac.
There are a few pros - Parking is easy, wait staff is nice, it is small and intimate. The cons are the process they have when waiting for the show to start. It is 15 to 20 min before you enter the show and you aww standing in line with heels on. Then if you have a Will Call purchase you have to get out of line after security check point and then hope you can get back in line after getting your ticket. There should be a smoother process and if you have VIP tickets there should be a different line etc.
Loved our experience here!We didnt have any problems finding the location or parking. I had seen the other reviews and was prepared! Construction on the outside of the building is finished (as of June 2018) and the entrance is clear. The club was nice inside. We went thru a metal detector to get inside but it wasnt all that weird. The club seemed clean and lots of seating all around. We got seated right upfront at the stage and enjoyed a private table. Food was decent (albeit overpriced) and the drinks were good. We werent really bothered by the 2 drink minimum, like some others have been. The waitstaff were great and kept our drinks filled. We got picked on by the comedian that night (thanks to my uncooperative husband hahahaha) but it was SO much fun. We were given free tickets to come back since my hubby got dragged up on stage.hahaha! Couldnt ask for a better date night. 😉
Kind of cool. Kind of weird. If youre not a party of 4 youre sharing a table built for 2 with strangers. 2 drink minimum & tickets required is bogus. Wait staff is great, hosting staff needs extensive training.Hosting staff is terrible and poorly trained. We were seated, asked to move because the host didnt realize the table had been filled, no biggie! We move, there were 2 hosts now & once seated at the table they showed us we were asked to move again because the two chairs were reserved, again fine except1. This was a table for two with 4 chairs and now were going to share it with strangers, not a fan but ok I guess.2. You have a 2 drink minimum and I paid for tickets. Should be one or the other not both.3. The 2 drink minimum means theres 4 drinks on the table at all times, since we are now sharing with randoms food is out theres no room left to set anything.4. 2 menus on said table is not enough. Once I gave up custody of the menu to our table mates we never got it back.
Drove down from out of town to Punch Line Sacramento to see a comedian that we have been wanting to see for years and we were NOT disappointed!! We scored tickets via Live Nation/Ticketmaster end of the summer sale for $20 bucks but would have paid full price for him wherever he was performing. Venue was easy to find in the strip mall, upstairs located next to a mattress store was easy breezy and literally across the street from our hotel. Walked right in to be greeted by security, went through a quick security check of the usual (ID check, ticket check, bag check, etc.) that then pointed us to their new bar area while we waited for the first showing to wrap up.The new bar area aka The Callback Bar was a perfect place for us to grab one of their specialty cocktails prior to our comedy extravaganza. We opted for Mules, I had the Drug Mule which had Humboldts hemp infused vodka in it and was exactly what I needed!! The hubby went with an Irish Mule with Jameson Irish Whiskey to start his night off. Our bartender was above and beyond as a matter of fact all of the staff here went above and beyond!! She made sure that we knew that whatever we order would not be counted for our two drink minimum not that we were counting, heck we would be walking back to our hotel across the street plus we had just had an amazing dinner a few moments before our arrival. We asked the bartender if there was anyway we could upgrade our seats to sit closer to the stage for the show so she worked her magic and boom chakalaka with the show not selling out we were able to move closer for next show - wooohoooo!!Upon inside the main show area, we were escorted to our new seats (thank you staff) the venue was intimate for holding 200, we like that no matter where you are inside it gives you a great view of the performers. Servers, staff and bartenders are kind, nice and service was great. Comedians had us holding our sides from start to finish. The MC was hilarious, the opener was cracking us up from the moment he came out and the headliner is insanely funny. We had the opportunity to have a Meet & Greet after to include pictures plus all of them visited for a few with the audience members that wanted to hang in The Callback Bar.Only downside to the evening was the two gender neutral bathroom so the lines can get rather hectic especially if its a full house, not too clean since everyone was in and out in a flurry with paper towels strewn about but I am sure the A-plus staff does their best to keep on top of that. Overall, cool venue for comedy acts and GREAT staff!!
There are no bad seats in the house. I really enjoyed that the layout was built more around the stage to view the performer. Food options are meh but drink options are decent. This place has a 2 drink minimum. I really wish it were a 2 item minimum like some other comedy clubs have that way you dont feel obligated to get extra drinks for no reason and are promoted to get food items.
What a great night! The show was absolutely hilarious! The only reason my review is a 4 not a 5 because the drinks are incredibly expensive!
Vaccine Card or Negative Test required to Enter? I didnt have to show either of these to Purchase both Center Stage Tables?? My Money was good then ??? Thanks for stealing my money and also ripping off your Wait staff their Gratuity they lost out on. Please forward our Ticket $$ to your wait staff. I dont get how showing a Vaccine Card protects anyone? Showing a negative test is much more effective. The Vaccine only protects the person who has the vaccine. Anyone Covid Positive can come in as long they have a vaccine card? LOL. Good Job. Go ahead and Cut and Paste one of your generic responses as you have done for others that have had this same issue. Good thing some of your neighboring businesses didnt have your silly mandates. They gained new customers instead of losing them.
Great show seeing Olan Rogers, but the two drink minimum makes any show you go to see at the bare minimum $10 dollars more expensive per person for two waters. All the other drinks are not great, and absurdly expensive for what you get.
Had a great time last night. So many great great comedians with such witty jokes. Would love to see them all in rare form again any day...
VERY poor customer service, went with a couple friends we were literally just laughing at some jokes the comedian made and the waitress came up to us clapping her hands and bobbing her head telling us to be quiet or else she’ll kick us out. We were talking amongst ourselves after that and got kicked out. You Pay for tickets but still want you to buy 2 drink minimum to stay!
Very crowded and staff kept insisting we move up more we were already practically breathing down the necks of the people in front of us. Also did not like that they have an only 2 drink policy.
Amazing, went to see Scott seiss. Dreams really due come true sat front row and just about died laughing the staff was amazing drinks were priced fairly
Too bad there isnt a NO Star rating for this venue. Turning away VIP ticket-holders due to not showing zee papers or declining a cancer-swab up ones nose. Ridiculous and downright discriminatory! Changing the Safety-Protocol on your website right before the event is pretty shameful as well. Travel a little farther folks and go to the San Jose Improv. Excellent customer service from all their employees and the venue is beautiful.
This was such a fun experience that Im definitely coming back for more! Registration was quick and easy through yelp or eventbrite. It was a spontaneous decision to come by the show and the only requirement is that you buy 2 drinks minimum, which is a must if you want to have a good time anyways! Come here for laughs and good memories with friends, dates, and whoever else!
First time here and it was very clean and the waitstaff was attentive. There is a 2 drink minimum and water is counted (its in a can). We hit up happy hour before we came.
A had a really good time here. Parking is good. They do have two drink min. This night theyvwere ahort staffed so the orders came slow but wasnt too much of an inconvenient. Bathroom only has two stalls so dont wait to go at the end like everyone else. I would not show up hungry...its a comedy joint not a restaurant. I would suggest to show up on time because on full nights certain seats are akward to seat at with a date. They have a lounge now outside the joint that you can order drinks and chill at but that is not part of the 2 drink min. at the show.
Thanks to Jimmy Earle... I was able to not only experience talented comedians but to have experienced an extremely Pleasant and friendly atmosphere at the Sacramento punchline! Hopefully you guys will see me on stage there sometime this year! You have really great atmosphere as well as staff from the box office to the bars and waitresses!☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
Visited for a show, the venue was clean and had quite a few tables that are spaced pretty decently so you dont find yourself too cramped. Seems like this place gets some pretty well known headliners. Also they make the drinks pretty strong!
We bought tickets to a show a few months ago and no where on the website did it state you had to be vaccinated or provide a negative covid test within 48 hours. When we went in the staff was super unhelpful and rude about it. Told one person in our group we had she had to go take a test, she walks to Walgreens and takes the test outside, then walks inside and he tells us it has to be taken in front of them, but thay was never told to us. Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Whats funny is you are sitting so close to everyone that I could move my arm the slightest bit and touch the table next to me. Would not return to this venue
So, I really loved the Punchline and only had one complaint that Ill get to at the end. First, its a cute little spot in kind of an odd location. You have to go the the second floor of a building and walk to the back of what feels kind of like the corridor of an office building where youll find an awning to the comedy club. Once there, it is a really cool and clean spot. The comedians were amazing, totally hilarious. Also, the staff is generally nice, the spot has speakers in the bathrooms so you dont miss anything when nature calls and everything is immaculately clean. My one complaint is kind of a two parter- 1. My opinion is that the food is meh, not great. 2. Food doesnt count towards the drink minimum. I dont drink, so I ordered a soda and a plate of food thinking that the food could cover the second drink... nope. So, I was told Id have to get a second drink which forced me to buy an expensive plastic bottle of water. I was not pumped on that. I guess I should have asked before assuming that another item would goes towards the drink minimum or I should take up drinking? Thanks for the laughs Punchline.
Attended the Sac Town Comedy Jam and it was the most fun Ive had in a long time. The staff was friendly and on top of everything which was great because the show was sold out. All the comedians were great and the headliner, Wendy Lewis was hysterical. The Host, Morty The Mortician was super funny and kept the show moving right along. All the comedians delivered really funny sets and it was a great experience for all of us.
Worst night we have experienced. Not funny comedian and the staff kicked us out for not reason They claimed my wife was asleep which Wasnt true the staff claimedMultiple people approached her which Wasnt true. They threatened to call the cops on meAs soon as I said their claims weren’t true HolyCow what a horrible experience we have ever dealt with especially since we were going to a comedy club. They claimed to have spoke with myself and my wife multiple times through out the night which wasnt true. Only time we were talked to were while they kicked us out. Dont waste your money!!!!!!!!! We spent over 100 on tickets, food and drink. Just to get kicked out for false reasons.
Straight up SHADY business practices. You buy the ticket and sit down in the club. The menu is the first place you notice that there is a 2 drink minimum required to stay for the show you already paid for. Then you notice the prices of the drinks $14 for Coors Light being the cheepest beer. You order the two drinks for your date and yourself when a few minutes later the waitress returns and asks what you want for your 2nd drink. Thats right, its 2 drinks minimum PER PERSON. This is not advertised anywhere outside of the club or on the website. Thats a garbage way to treat people. Will not be returning nor recommending this place.
The Punch Line headliner, Lance Woods, was a treat for my out-of- town quest. We have a wonderful time. The spicy chicken wings was on point and the special liquor request,Brandy separator, was well made. Everything was reasonably priced also.
Very disappointing. First, we came to see a comedian who actually did not do the comedy. She was only the MC. To our surprise the comedy show consisted of amateurs from around town. Two of several were mildly funny. Then, there is a two drink minimum. In an hour and a half you MUST purchase two drinks. If you decline to have a second drink security will come to your table and threaten you. We need you to have two drinks! If you dont want to, I am not forcing you to leave, its your choice. Our policy is you MUST or you must leave. Carlos was the security guard. His breath was foul as he confidently got into my personal space and attempted to intimidate me into paying up.. Carlos probably did his job though. He threatened me to be removed from the club for not purchasing a second drink. Certainly management encourages aggressive behavior to ensure they make at least $10.50 per person, in addition to the ticket price.. It was Mothers Day, with my family, fortunately I had money, so I purchased a second drink, a water for $5.25! The punchline has an interesting business model. Sell you a ticket for a show that is not actually the show you paid for, then, post signs, No Refunds and force customers to buy 2 drinks, or throw them out. Yikes! Outrageous business model. Shocked there has not been a class action lawsuit.
Comedy show was great. Service was terrible, waiter failed take our order for drinks after waiting 15 minutes she finally came. We ordered our drinks and got our drinks 1 hour later with only 10 minutes of the show left. Will probably not go again due to the poor service.
Went to see Bill Bellamy! Not only was he HILARIOUS, this is a great venue to laugh! Food and drinks were good and reasonably priced and parking is ample. It is on the second floor (beside a mattress store lol) but there is an elevator for those who may need it. Can’t wait to go back to see other comedians.
It was rather smaller than I thought it would be. Moving here from Idaho I expected a much larger club than what we had there. HOWEVER, the staff was super friendly, even laughing and joking with us, even though it was really packed in there. The service did take a while, but Id like to see you fumble your way through a dark, packed room with a tray full of drinks. I would like to see some better/bigger comedians come to Punch Line but they do have a pretty good array as it is. I will definitely be back!
Felt kinda ghetto and low budget. I had to walk through a TSA type metal detector which made me feel a little uncomfortable at a place that is designed to laugh and to show you a good time. None of the employees acted like they cared or like they even wanted to be there. I probably would have ordered more drinks and food if I ever saw my server. As far as the acts, they were all mediocre with material that was not very clever or even that funny. One of the jokes used was copied from another comedian. I was very disappointed and will seek other venues next time. Felt more like an open mic and I did not feel like I was at a professional comedy club. On to the next one....
Saturday Jan 10 8pm show with Josh Wolf. First time to visit the Punchline and see Josh Wolf live. Buying the tickets was interesting, since you can save $6 by getting them at the venue. I was not informed that Jiffy was not coming to the show with Josh and there was an extra $10-15 charge for drinks until after I purchased the non-refundable tickets. The venue is very nice and small and it got very hot as the evening progressed. We did get 3 new comics to start the show, 2 of which were very good. Josh Wolf had a lot of energy and had the crowd laughing all the time. He is very good up on stage. The show ran over time to 2 hours. I was glad I went to this show.
Place was okay, but seemed a bit sterile. Call me crazy, but more feral comedy clubs are right up my alley! I want raw jokes, heckling and fun! Youre not allowed to heckle here, just sit and listen and laugh. Overall good experience, just not really my thing.
Well run, fun place, staff is super friendly. Show was a blast! Highly recommend!
Staff is AWESOME . From the security check to the waitress we had a great experience. We saw Kim Whitley and David A. Arnold and they are hilarious.Im gonna make The Punchline a regular thing.
The talent is good. They try hard to keep the show flowing and great energy too.Two stars because they are way understaffed. Our poor waitress had one whole side of the room to serve and then the poor child had to go up on stage and do 5 minutes of heartbrakingly difficult jokes. TrainwreckOur mandatory second drink came 3 minutes before we had to leave.Just a painful night
A great place for some laughs on any weekend! Really great time and they have a lot of interesting and famous comics coming through. Really decent prices, but if a famous comedians in town, buy tickets in advance. A must go if you are in Sacramento!
Excellent venue that moves things along pretty quickly. Great acts roll through here. I would give it 5, but there was a mix up with a bill within earshot. I dont think it is a normal issue here, but it happened.
The only reason I go here is because they have some good headliners sometimes. Plus I hate two drink minimums. I would recommend going to the Comedy Spot in Midtown. It has a much more personal feel and the staff is so much better.
The venue was very nice. The drinks were on point but they will run you about 16$per.Service was good.Corey Holcom was hilarious.
Hostess was very helpful and accommodating to my party as I was in a wheelchair. Waitress was efficient and friendly. Specialty drinks were all very tasty, especially the non-alcoholic ones! Best of all, comedian was hilarious!!
Not funny to have door service rude & Excessive security to have to have a clear purse 4x6inches other 3 local comedy clubs are not excessive like this very unwelcoming the place is half empty. Its just so extra Feels like airport security...this isnt a government building or prison facility why are you treating everyone like criminals is your neighborhood that bad.
Have been many times to see Doug Bensons movie game show podcast (Doug Loves Movies). Great sound, great comedy, fanatic service. Its always a good idea to show up early because the seating is first come first serve. They always host very talented comedians. Their menu is good (nothing terribly unusual for a bar/comedy club but good drinks and beer/wine selection)Do your fellow attendees a favour and put away your phone, know your limit, and dont book your bachelorette party here. If youre going, be there you laugh and listen. We always have a great time.
Parking wasnt convenient nor handicapped friendly upon entering and exiting to building. Yes theres an elevator that youll spend half the evening wiating to get to the second floor.
We were made to feel like we were entering a jail rather than a comedy club. It was almost like they really didnt want us there. Your made to Empty your pockets. Purses and bags searched, magnetometer screening then your tickets are scrutinized. I felt like I was showing the Gestapo my papers. They make sure that you adhere to that two drink minimum as well. Seating is packed in like sardines. Very uncomfortable. I felt like the staff and servers were my handlers. Like a corrections officer/server. The only saving grace was the comedians. They were hilarious.
Good place to catch comedy. Ive been to many shows here. Laughs are almost guaranteed!
Great place, I like it better than any comedy club around in my opinion. I always sit in the front row 70 to 80 percent of the time. Good fun times.
Dont let the humble setting fool you- Punch Line is a fabulous hidden gem. My husband and I went last weekend to see Steve Hofstetter and we had a wonderful night. Great acts and a truly attentive staff will make your evening a delight.
The space is perfect for a comedy show. Ive enjoyed many shows there. The food is mediocre.
Older comedy club, usual two drink minimum and outrageously overpriced cheap bar food. Cocktails had no booze in them, would not order one again, overpriced and no alcohol contained within. Both neighbouring tables on either side of us said the same about their mixed drinks.Great stage, low and seating is close to the stage without anyone being in your personal space. Would go again but wouldnt bother with any of the cocktails.
Woman at the door told me there was no reason to go back to the car for my camera because no photos were allowed. As soon as the show started it was announced that photos were fine. The waitress put someone elses drinks on my card.
A little hard to find due to remodeling and no lit exterior sign. But other then that, great comedy club. Extremely suprising how good the food. Was. Whole space was very clean. Definitely going to be going back there next time I want to see some comedy.
Always a blast, odd location but a great venue. I have not tried the food yet but low expectations are required for any comedy club food. Wait staff was amazing and efficient. Prices as to be expected are high for drinks and food.
First time ever going to a comedy club and I absolutely loved it great way to relief stress. Will definitely be coming back the staff, waiters and comedians were incredible. Strongly recommend to check out this place!!!
Very funny drinks are a little high pretzels were good wasn’t worth the money love the spicy cheese sauce
This place keep pushing ads on my Facebook about a show with some mma guy. So my wife finally just told me to buy the tickets. So we when and watch this Mexican looking dude brandan swab I think. I think we laughed like 5 times, all from his opener. I just cant understand why I was bombarded with ads for this guy of all people. The punchline is the wrong name, Brandon didnt have a single one.
Great host! Great staff! Fun venue. Well definitely be back!
Fun place to laugh, and they have a great selection of snacks and Proper staff.
Best comedy club in Sacramento. Intimate experience with the comics performing. The staff is great, Ive always received good service. Pro tip: Show up 30 minutes before the show to get good seats and drinks first.
Great acts in an intimate venue. The two drinks minimum is a bit annoying for a DD like myself who has to pay 7$ for a soda but overall it is a good time well worth the price!
I love the atmosphere of this place once you get inside. The seating is cramped and we had to sit at a table with people we didnt know but that could be a positive way to meet new people. Our server was friendly and the food is yummy.
Had a good time at the New Years show. Pretty tightly packed. Security line was inefficient, would be pretty easy to tighten that up. Overall a good place to see a comedy show. Will be back.
Ari Shaffir, Joey Diaz shows are great........ My friends and family have always had a great time here. I just recently went to go see the beautiful and elegant Ari Shaffir, and it was one of the best nights out Ive had in a long time.It always takes a long time to get drinks, and the whole menu is very expensive in my opinion ($6 for a 12oz beer, $10 for mixed drinks). However, the drinks are cold and taste good, and the wait staff is professional and friendly.I would recommend this club to anyone who lives in or around Sacramento (Or someone whos visiting).
The drag shows are fabulous. the two drink minimum and $5.70 for a soda, no coins if you pay cash, is obnoxious. not everybody drinks
Went there today for bowling and my friends bday but service was bad, video games were taking our money, not a good selection of beer and pricey not to mention it was hot in there. Will not be returning.
I really like this place. My only chief complaint is the archaic 2 drink minimums at comedy clubs, not just this one. It would be nice (for non-drinkers) to have the option to buy a food item instead of a drink and more affordable drink options as well.
Great place to go for fun time with a date and just laugh it up! you can find some good deals on Groupon so check that out. But be warned there is a two drink minimum however you can probably get away with purchasing just one.
Jeremiah Watkins was my first show after C19. Wendy the Awkward Cougar, Kris Tinkle, and Jeremiah all crushed it. The staff were amazing as always. Post-C19 punchline is just as good as pre-C19 Punchline. Low ceiling, small room makes for some great, intimate comedy.
I had so much fun. I cant remember the last time I laughed that much. Thankyou.
Comedians were awesome... drinks were awful... it would take very little effort to improve on that. servers were nice
Great food and drinks! Weve always had good table service and the comedians are super funny! Love this place!
Seen some amazingly hilarious smaller name acts and one of my favorite places to go have a drink and try not to spit it out. 11/10 would recommend
Great acts. Service was snail slow. From arriving and getting our order taken before the start of the hosts set, till 10 minutes before the end of the 3rd/main act, is how long it took to get 1 cup of water.
Had the best time seeing Earthquake at the Punchline! It was my husband and I first time at the Punchline and just enjoyed the show. Blaque Ron was Awesome too, will definitely be back.
Not very funny, drinks are slow to get to you. Waitress runs by you, not friendly. They do care about getting your credit card very quickly to start a tab though,
I saw Josh wolf here my very first time attending a live show and it was absolutely amazing! They were undermanned and yet the staff was super helpful and the service was outstanding!
Went to see Arnez J. The comedians were great. My drinks were good, but the pepperoni flat bread was not good.
Great comedy show! The food and drinks were also good. Just know there is a trip drink minimum, but they dont need to be alcoholic. 👍
