Glen Eden Sun Club

Our first date trip here was on busy weekend. Very pleasant, clean amenities, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Check in process was very thorough, and the guided tour for first timers was quite nice. Tiffany was a great tour guide.Second time was just as nice. If your someone who isnt a fan of cold pools, need not worry all the pools where very comfortable and warm. Had a little issue with billing at the end but Stephanie helped rectify the situation.

My wife and I just returned from a wonderful long weekend at Glen Eden, and could not be more delighted. Staff was universally congenial and helpful. We were astonished by how EVERY single resident or member we met was friendly and welcoming. The property and facilities are extremely well kept up - not just by staff but also by residents - who seem to universally have great pride and love for this little enclave. There are zillions of activities and programs available throughout the week.We just booked a return visit for later this month…. Staying in our travel trailer in one of their deluxe RV sites. I’m overwhelmed by how well this place is managed and maintained.A real gem of a place !

Were back at GE for a week this time! Participating in group actives such as art classes, Bunco (I even won some cash!), water aerobics, disc golf and hanging out at the dog park with the other dog parents have been a great way to meet new people and enjoy our stays even more! Ive learned a lot since first coming here years ago like how to use the laundry facilities and how much easier showering is at one of the shower facilities rather than the rental unit and never to miss fried chicken or pizza night. Ive recently been thoroughly inspired to teach an art class here and will be doing that during our next visit in September! Theres a real magic happening here that I can only explain as being like Camp for Adults. With so many activities happening, its almost like being a kid again and Im starting to see how the friendships I have outside of here arent the same as the friendships Ive made inside of here...theyre better!

Been a nudist since birth... just forgot I was. Then I was saved by Jesus. So, had tremendous family trauma prior to becoming a member here. The shame and guilt were very ingrained.This place helped me heal and accept myself 100. The rays of the sun against my skin kept me alive during the Corona era and during my healing. I ground in the labyrinth while bathing in the sun... Gods glorious sun.And I soak under a full moon. It is priceless.Some wrote complaints about how can this place exist, etc... but remember, we were born innocent, naked and take nothing when we die. European, African, Asian, SouthAmerican continents all have nude beaches attended by intact families and they are just fine. Only in this Christian nation is the human body.... de-humanized. The irony.It is a family environment and the members uphold those values. The occasional perv slips through the crack but the phones are everywhere and management is on top of escorting any disrespectful annoying heathens out.This place is a hidden treasure...Eden, like in the Bible. It is a safe place.I gave a 4 star because the pool water could be cleaner. Lately its been stinky.Take care and stop by for some sun!God Bless YOU!

The guests were really friendly and informational about the resort upon my second visit. The vicinities were pretty good too! Love the pools.

Children should not be allowed here. That is absolutely horrible and something they have no control over saying they don’t want to see other naked adults? This makes me sick to my stomach. I don’t care about anyone over 18 choosing to attend, but children of ANY age? This is so awful and I am going to try and figure out a way to get this place reported and have changes made.

Please consider that most negative reviews are coming from people with prejudice against the nudist community and have never been to a family-friendly location like Glen Eden.With that said...The staff was awesome here, and the place has A LOT of activities to choose from! The place is community-run by the members (unlike most other resorts which are ran like businesses) and their genuine dedication to their community shows when you visit this place.And yes, children are safe here. Theyre much safer here than they are at your local church or the grocery store. The community has a ZERO tolerance policy for creeps.

Children should not be allowed here. Horrible! Even if parents are responsible for their children. Family or not children should not be exposed naked in front of other adults. Who the hell lets that happen? Its insane how this place is allowed to let that happen!

Went there for the first time the weather was good tell the varry end. I had a good time, very relaxing. Nice people varry clean. Plan to go back in the summer.

I have to leave just two stars, as I experienced some problems that were critical for me. When I came to the reception, I asked for a day pass and dry camping; they said no problem. Then, in the evening, I needed to drive out for my business, and when I returned, the man at the gate told me that I could stay only until midnight and had to leave. I explained that there was a confusion and that I had reserved dry camping as well. He said that my paper only mentioned a day pass, so I hadnt paid for dry camping, and therefore, I could not stay. I offered to pay, and he said that he was security, not a cashier, so he could not accept payment, even though I proposed leaving cash for the cashier to accept in the morning. As a result, I had to leave and find a place to stay at night, after a whole day of driving.

I came here for the nude 5k a bit ago. Everything here was amazing. The people were social and welcoming, and I never felt out of place. I cant wait to come back and visit again. Would absolutely recommend for peoples first nudist experience

This is a great vacation destination! We really love the time we are able to spend here. All the people, guests and staff, are so friendly making you feel right at home. I recommend if you have never been here, putting aside any reservations you may have about visiting and give it a try. Trying out Glen Eden Sun Club is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I really enjoy the wide selections of activities there is to do here.

Attended to take part of the 5k running event and stayed the day. Great experience, learned a lot and met some wonderful people. Look forward to my next visit.Update: 6/18/23Added an additional star.I came back with intentions to see a better day and it was delightful.Update: 6/19/22Came with the intentioned to experience the Resort on an off day and it is TOTALLY different. Locals dont seem to welcoming to young singles that want to sunbathe... negative comments were casting from residents sitting near the cafe loudly as if they wanted me to hear the rudeness. Cant say if felt this disrespected/embarrassed since being in a foreign country. Comments about me posting a picture of the turtle pond on google was loudly broadcasted as well... No actual contact was made other than with the friendly front staff but residents and their cliques will scare off potential visitors. Which may be intentional, for ones that look like me, not sure at this point.

As usual this place has pleased us and made our stay comfortable with staff being friendly and helpful, manager Art is on it. Entertainment is exceptional, park is clean and organized. Love it so much and even trying to gain residence here in ownership of a home. Thanks for the awesome memorial day weekend. Sorry no pictures lol

Wow, what a blast! Great staff, everyone is so welcoming and the facilities are top notch. I was able to enjoy the hot tub, the pool, gym and I even snuck in some Zumba in the short time I was there. And all without the confines of clothing!The only word of caution I have is that you must bring a towel, I forgot mine and had to rent one for $10 which is steep but it helps to remind me to bring a towel next time I visit which will be soon because I just loved Glen Eden, keep up the great work!Again I cant wait to go back!

The nicest resort! The people are incredible here. I never once felt uncomfortable and in fact felt safer here than anywhere else. It’s a small slice of paradise.

Amazing place to (finally) lose your inhibitions and personal limitations in your social and physical life. You only have one. Live it to the fullest and experience the things you fear.

This place is great! It is a full on nudist camp! Clothing is not an option! So, I got there and filled out the paper work. I was then instructed to drive through the security gate and park in the visitors parking. At this time you must get naked. Bathrooms are provided to do so but I just whipped my dress off over my head and threw it in the back seat of my car! I had not bothered with a bra and undies so I was good to go. The tour was nice. You get to sit in a golf cart and are driven around and showed where everything is. The pool was clean, the restaurant/cafe fine, bathrooms spotless. I dont have one bad thing to say about this place. I am planning a return trip soon. 5 Stars!

Very family oriented. My brothers and sisters and I have gone here since we were born. Both my parents and us all enjoyed the family activities indoors and out. Since we typically went in summertime, there were so many activities, it was hard to choose, @ least for us five kids. We were always the whitest kids in the games. But by the end of summer, we were as tanned as the others!Teen years were a bit “stressful” as puberty went. But having seen so many other kids go through it, answered most of our questions, and made relationships with our parents closer than most all of our friends. It brought us all, much closer to each other and our parents than I ever thought was possible. Naturally, it’s not for everyone, but it was helpful to me, and obviously my younger brother, as we both had desires to become doctors because of Glen Eden. Me, an anesthesiologist, and my 11 month younger brother, a great Forensic Psychologist. I retired this year due to health concerns, but all of my successful sisters & brothers continue on in their respective careers with their own fond memories of our days spent so well, always safe, always respected by the adults whose wisdom and patience, helped guide us with our parents to become integral and closer community advocates.My many thanks to the Glen Eden Managed Community, & the wonderful Doctors, Nurses, & other Members of the Glen Eden membership. Glen Eden is a Nudist Resort. With activities for any age, everyone will have a great time here. Definitely give the office a call if you have any questions or take a look at their website, it’s pretty extensive with accommodation rates, amenities, and cafe hours. My favorite things to do are laying out while working in a book, and definitely the dances on Friday and Saturday nights. I love that they have the calendar with all the special events posted for the entire year! I’m really looking for ward to Nudestock, the Tequila party, and the Tiki party!!!

My husband and it had our first experience at Glen Eden this past week. Staff were beyond friendly and all of the people we came into contact with were so friendly. We pulled our 5th wheel in and out with no trouble. Very clean place and the breakfast burrito we had was amazing!! Managemant (Art) went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our 2 night stay. Will definitely make the long trek to go again!!

It was my first time ever at a Nudist community, It was by far the best time I had in my life. It was so relaxing, nothing like how Id had pictured in my mind. My tour guides were friendly and made me feel at ease. After the tour everyone around me was extremely friendly and they encouraged me to do my three visits before joining, Best ways to get away from everyday life and just go out and relax and get an even tan. Thank You staff and community members for making it an enjoyable atmosphere.

This place has their ANAR. And is a live in community. It is wonderful to visit. If you are open minded you will fit right in. Otherwise not the vacation or living atmosphere for you. There are many fascinating different buildings. this is not a small property you could tool around in the golf cart. It is a close knit community with a board and operates as a non profit.

7/2016I gave 10 stars for Glen Eden Sun Resort. Karaoke on Wednesday Night at 6:00 is a hoot! The new artistic and event director, Kimberly, is excellent and full of new ideas for the weeks to come. The staff, in the office, have always be helpful and welcoming. The crowd on ‘campus’ are attractive, interesting and friendly. I go down from Pasadena every week to get a ‘joyful’ transfusion. THANK YOU!!! You are the best therapy! RB7/2021The place has changed and I turned in my club membership due to unsafe behaviors from the locals and management. I would not recommend this club to couples or families. Great for singles and male gawkers

My wife and I visited Glen Eden Resort and stayed over night there. It was our first time ever to a nudist resort. We had been to a clothing optional beach in British Columbia two weeks before, and we both took our cloths off there. My wife was a little apprehensive the first time there, but felt more comfortable about it the second time we went three days later.The staff at Glen Eden were very nice. We stopped at the office and they got a copy of our driver licences and then had a read and sign the rules paper. After that they called one of the tour guides and she came to the office. She was topless, but wore a wrap around her waist. She had us follow her in her golf cart to a parking area inside the resort. When we parked she had me and my wife strip naked and she removed the cover that was on her waist. We then proceeded to take a tour of the resort, and where we would be spending the night. Being from Utah, it was a totally new experience, but it didnt take long for us to adjust, seeing that everyone else there was nude also except for the staff. When were got into the outside pool, the first person we talked to was also from Utah. We found the people there generally friendly. Once couple invited us to play pool with them, but my wife declined. I tried to talk her into doing it, but she didnt feel comfortable to that. All In all it was a fun experience, and we are both looking forward to doing it again when the opportunity presents itself.

I had barely arrived before I was pleasantly exposed to the best side of the Glen Eden Sun Club. Of course, if you are a member of the club you cant help being exposed, but I was referring more to the general ambience as opposed to the actual au natural option of the resort. The Ambiance is excellent, those who are employed here think nothing about allowing you to fully witness all aspects of their profession without subterfuge. This cheerful and welcoming attitude, completely void of unnecessary restraint, is affected I believe in order to make you feel free to feel likewise. At the Glen Eden one neednt worry about fashion sense and the time consuming use of closets and clothes hangers. Useless in this atmosphere, such things may be cheerfully ignored. Habiliments are barely missed.I highly recommend to Glen Eden Sun Club to anyone Fed Up with the rising costs of tailors, sewing machines and laundromats. And the food? Just like your pants, its as good as gone! Its a beautiful spot plenty of innovating activities will keep you too busy to really be modest as you prepare for your first night in a fully optional atmosphere. Just dont bother to look for the Moon. Itll find you!

Love the place. It is a family oriented place where one can be free with themselves yet have kindness and compassion to a different figures. There is a tennis court there is also a pool and jacuzzi and sunbathing areas and I do believe that there is also a hiking trail. Everybody is friendly especially the employees. One can be at peace and one with themselves.

You wouldn’t think what looks like a nice place can be very bad. But this is one of them. Absolutely the worst resort I’ve ever been to. I was a member for eight years. Not once in that time did I experience friendly people. They all are in their “clicks” and do not offer or let new people in. Of all my visits, they were to ourselves.On one particular visit, I had an argument with my wife about money. Just from her talking to another woman resident, it started this whole fiasco against me, the male. As if the “female” is a victim and the “male” is the perpetrator, and guilty without reason. Husbands and wives can have their personal arguments and don’t’ need outside interference. Boy did GE staff interfere. Dave Utter, the general manager, a big fat guy with a big fat attitude hit my car and damaged the window trim, when all I was doing was going to the office to get a refund for unused days paid. He ran up like a little kid screaming and yelling and refused to give me the standard refund for unused days. He even physically prevented me from leaving through the gate. Eventually I did get out of this ”prison”, and parked in the office lot. Only to be assaulted by cud Utter. Finally had to call the Sheriff on him.So I would have to say, after all this time as a member, this place doesn’t value you at all. And is a place to avoid. There are several more friendly resorts in the area anyway.

This is my 8th year. I love it and the people. The freedom. Is worth the experience. The safety to let your hair down.(#mostImportantlysafety) Drink eat be merry. Know your safe male or females.

This is the tale of two resorts. the first one where the members make every effort to make u feel welcomed, where i had an excellent wheel pottery lesson (something i waited 51 yrs.for...) where there r great, clean facilities and great music on holidays etc etc. the other one concerns Cari, at the front desk who undermined all of the communitys efforts to make me feel welcomed with her abrasive manner, which -by her own admission- is getting them lousy experiences on the part of first-time visitors (like us) by caring more for the bottom line than for the way she treats people, why i couldnt say...but everyone at the front office fears her!Update #1Cari is still there so if ure new to the resort be warned! however, on a lighter note, upper management has been very proactive about the situation and i sense sincerity in their effort to make amends and resolve things moving forward...as if they really care about u and what u experience there, which is, potentially, a lot!

Did the 5k run and spent the day there. Its very nice resort, people were friendly and so were some staff. I say some because saw two ladies making a big out of nothing with members and guests. Can say they take their jobs way seriously.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I havent been to this place before and called them for scheduling a tour today. The woman who picked up and answered the phone was impatient and rude. She started yelling as she cant hear clearly. Will never recommend anyone I know to visit this place

One of the worst resorts Ive even been to! Even below non landed lol.Management is rude and hostile. They spy on you and try to make up reasons to say your not welcome. Very tight clicks that are pretty much impossible to break in to. Only met one friendly person. The rest were soooo rude. Never again.

I spent 3 years there and loved every single second of it. The only drawback for me was karaoke nights. I got tired of hearing great songs completely destroyed. But thats just me and yes I am a karaoke hater. Everything else though was fantastic. I am dying to move back and get back into the life where I had the lowest stress level of all time.

My inlaws lived here when I met them and I fell in luv immediately! My mother in law helped build the chapel on the hill and both of them were integral part of GE. They were close friends of Mildred and Ray, the beloved founders

Sounds like a great place to visit. I havent been yet but me and my husband go to nude beach when we get a chance. But I am surprising him for our 2 year anniversary if he dont spoil it cuz I can never seem to surprise him he is to impatient and always figures it out. Lol hopefully this time I can. Wish me luck.

Friendly members welcomed my family to the club, and we got to run the 5K Nude like the Greeks in the ancient tradition. The pool was perfect to relax and chat afterwards. Next time, we want to check out the nudist research library as well.

Nudist are great everywhere, but unfortunately within the confines of this resort you will find that the management is so overbearingly rude to all including the visitors, members and long time residents who are too afraid to speak up in fear that they will be singled out...just sad!!! Being here is mostly unfriendly and uncomfortable resulting in nothing more than a headache!!!...just a recommendation to the owners...get new management!!!

Going downhill fast. Glen Eden used to be really awesome, but this past year, its sad to watch them go down the tubes. Paid members (who dont live there, which is the majority) no longer get access to the newsletter, which ceased to be back in May (residents, living there still get it), and when I logged-in to the member site today, its gone, too?Given that they no longer offer much in the way of benefits to (non-resident) members, youd think theyd discount the membership substantially, but no... Thats not happening, either?It just feels like its become a way for the on-site residents to scam others into paying their costs.What a shame... A year or two ago, this really was the best nudist destination on the west coast.

Been a member there for a number of years, theres always something going on holiday weekends from dancing with bands to tennis, coed water volleyball, or you can just relax around the pool and enjoy a great meal from the restaurant

I am a former single male member that was driven away by management.I have been a nudist for 35 yrs my parents intruduced my sister and I at a young age.I have been a memeber at 4 clubs and Glen Eden has been the most judgemental one of them all.I was asked to talk to the manger or was pulled a side by mangement and told that they were watching me and i better not make a pass or any sexuly overt comments to any women or i would be asked to leave.They even asked my girlfriend and my mother if i was bothering them.There was never a complaint filed about me ever so they were singling me out because i was single and male.Funny that one of there own staff was fired and him and his wife removed from the club for asking a women she want to have sex with them.Maybe they should of been looking inward for the perverts.

I am a 22 year old single good looking male that likes to be naked never been to anywhere nude before are even walked around naked in front of random woman and man but always wanted to try it and see how I like it “what should I expect going here?” And is it possible just to go for a tour??

The best place to just get away from it all and recharge the batteries. Theres always something to do here! Very friendly environment with the best people by far!

But try it, you may be surprised at how fast you realize that you feel weird with clothes on. Cuz no one really cares. You talk to the face.Any size works.Any age works.Not a swinger place.Family friendly.First time is free.It is more fun if you come with someone. So bring a friend. Take the tour and enjoy the day.

A total juxtaposition from The Hectic everyday City Life. Veg, relax, swim, or play tennis or volleyball, or just relax and enjoy chatting with friends in the huge swimming pool, then enjoy a simple home-cooked meal in the cafe followed by a dance or karaoke or just vegging on the patio! :-)

We LOVE Glen Eden! We have been there several times. Our favorite thing to do is attend when they have bands on holidays and go camping!

It is nice place for swimming and hiking.I did took a few miles walking and really release myself and enjoy the sunshine at this clube.

If you have the inclination go. I think its always free the first visit. All ages and body types Plenty of sports, activities and social opportunity. It could change your life.

Always a fun place to go ,,you can relax by the pool or there are always plenty of Club activities to participate in.

When I called to visit next month I was told, they were not accepting first time visitors, because all visitors must have a tour and because of Covid 19 they were not doing tours.
