Been told a lot things of this place and I couldn’t believe it till we were celebrating one of our friends 21st. The bouncer was kicking out one of the girls in front of us for having open shoes and couldn’t be showing toes. Then they kicked out one of the guys for having a small flashlight in his key chain. When we got closer to the door the bouncer was in a pissed off mood and kicked us out cause we were too “drunk”. Not to mention half of our group was inside and the bouncer accused the only white girl in our group. Don’t waste y’all’s time and money in there

Came here around 12am and there was about a 3 min wait in line. the wait to get a drink took a little longer and this place was crowded and HOTT. definitely bring a fan when coming here and youll be good. the crowd had the best vibes! overall had a fun time but had to cut it short due to the heat

So fun!! Come and dance all the good Latino music, salsa, pop, bachata, reguetón, rancheras, etc!! A bit of everything.

It’s a nice Latin club in Oak Lawn. Bring friends. Bring whomever. You’re going to have a good time. The music is always good and the drinks are always strong. You don’t want to miss out on Havana.

Havana is by far the best gay latin bar in Dallas. The place plays a bit of everything and is a welcoming place for all genders and backgrounds. The staff and environment are AMAZING! If you’re visiting or live in Dallas and want to try out the gayborhood; Havana is a must visit. 🙃

Everything about this place looks like fun from the outside but this place needs better bouncers. Drunk people complain about bouncers but these Only discriminate. I wasn’t allowed inside due to having a hearing aid. I wasn’t allowed to go in due to not being able to hear him with all the outside noise. After trying to talk to the manger I thought things would turn around and maybe they would apologize but they were prideful and decided I wasn’t worthy of going in. DONT TRY COMING IN HERE.

We drove four hours to see RPDR Mirage and while she was wonderful to meet, the experience was awful and we didn’t even stay to watch her perform because the entire experience was awful the moment we walked in.It was incredibly packed, we tried to make ourselves a little spot in the crowd but everyone was pressed against each other to the point my partner and I made friends with the people around us since our bodies were just on top of each other anyway. The patrons were rude, probably due to being squished, and at one point a security guard came shoving through the crowd and my partner had to tell him to say excuse me rather than shove people.The meet & greet was a MESS and it wasn’t even totally Mirage’s fault. First off, yes she was late and I totally understand that. But we saw 3 other queens in Houston the weekend before, they were also late, and it didn’t interfere with the rest of the show. If you want a smooth m&g, at least sell the tickets for 5-10 dollars at most. There was NO line, people would just step in the little makeshift line that other patrons were making and security never did anything, there was no rope to guide anyone to where they needed to be. That’s just the line issue, but once the M&G started, the hosting queen said “We have 45 minutes so keep it moving” and they did VIP first (which would have been fine!) but did nothing to stop fans from talking with Mirage for long periods of time, taking shots, taking forever to get up and walk to where the pictures were. Like they were totally unorganized other than “We have to do things at these times” with no plan on how to do them it seems.It feels as if you’re going to host someone that popular (We all know she’s gone viral, she’s become a hit despite being second out) you should actually sell tickets with a limit so you don’t have your patrons stuffed in the tiny tin foil box of a bar.

How is it possible that I came with an INE (legit voting ID from Mexico) and they wouldn’t let me in to the only “Latino bar” on the strip with it???? Every other club on the strip took my INE with no problems… this is very disappointing.

Feb 16, specifically came in to see RPDR S16 star, Mirage. Was overly packed, security was ZERO help in controlling the crowd when it was time for the Meet & Greet. Had to result in pushing through a barely moving crowd. Literally packed in like sardines, even security was having trouble getting through. A few people were YELLING at others to get by just to leave. I understand that trying to maintain an eager crowd is difficult but we, as patrons, are entrusting the establishment to handle our safety while ensuring a good time. Tonight they failed, feeling my chest being compressed against another human being in that manner...I wouldnt wish that upon anyone. Never coming back if they decide to host another beloved queen.Update: so my brother, who also attended the event with me, when he finally go outside after pushing his way through the barely moving crowd. He overheard the security outside the door telling another patron, who also had an extremely difficult time trying to leave through the crowd and was telling them about it, his response was, oh that isnt my job. How is it not securitys job to ensure OUR safety and regulate capacity for this type of event. If you care for your own safety, dont come here since they CLEAERLY dont care about you.

The doorman was very unfriendly and racist. How is it possible that with a Mexican ID my friend couldnt get in? I took my friend there because it is the Latino place since he is on vacation in Dallas. The truth is that this place is useless, they lost 6 clients that were going to have drinks there.

Service is not the best and security as well. Was here for my birthday and a friend of mine had one drink and slipped on someone else’s spilt drink. The blunders ambushed him and said he was too drunk to be at the bar? One drink? We just walked in. We are not going to fight with the bouncers though because we are not wanting problems. But reading these reviews more than us have had this problem.

It’s a little packed on Saturdays but that’s my favorite day to go see the Havana girls especially Anastasia love herrrrr their shows and drinks are Amazing and if like to dance this is the place 😘 this photo was barbie weekend success ❤️

Favorite drag show on the strip! Bartenders are all awesome! Shout out to Joey and Armando! Managers are super cool. The place is clean and smells nice. Great happy hour, menu, ambience, and did I mention the bartenders are amazing?

Nice bar with huge dance floor. Great drinks at low prices. Great during week and especially on weekends. Limited parking so hard to find. Located in Gayberhood with friendly people. Great for being adventurous and friends, girls night out, etc. Plenty of seating. Small restrooms. Wings and quesadillas served late night sometimes. ENJOY!! YASS!!!

Great drag shows, current popular Spanish music, good food options, and nice staff. My partner and I enjoy going to their Drag Race viewings. Will miss this place once we move!

I hate Latin music so I despise coming here when my friends want to come but it’s perfect for any Latin music fan. Haven’t had any issues w staff or bar.

If you are a person that is interested in Reggaeton, Bachata, Cumbia, and merengue that’s the place for you to be, and they have great drag shows there and the drag queens are very funny. Every time I go there I enjoyed myself.I also must compliment the bartenders on a very good job, making my drinks right, and on top of that they’re very friendly and a la abuela en la parte de atrás del club los tacos son muy muy deliciosos ( to grandma in the back of the club the taco are very very delicious )

Horrible experience at the front door. Said I couldn’t get in because I was white but my Latina friend could come in. What a joke of an establishment.

We were kicked out because they Said my friend was being too loud. Seriously? Its a club smh. He had moments of being crunk and shouting out at times, but it was nothing too extreme. There was another incident were my friend was told she cant come in because of the sandles she had on.. I understand rules for that but there were other non-minoririty people there with sandels... this reads very shady for me.. my friend is trying to get used to the gay environment and feel comfortable and they kick him out.. We will not be going there anymore. I know it makes little difference to them but it makes a impact on how they treat certain people.. it is what it is..

The bar allows more patrons in than what is allowed by the fire marshal. The bartenders will serve their friends first over other customers who were already in line. The drag queens all look the same. It felt like the same person performed over and over again.

Denied entry because we were white. Im not white but we were denied entry for not being true latinos. The bouncers couldnt give a reason but stuck to their racist stereotypes. Pathetic. Do better.

They said my friend was too drunk after he only had three drinks at their bar. He was also one of the only white people at the bar. Never going back here again. I’ve never given a one star review and I did not do so lightly. Do not give them your patronage.

They wouldn’t allow me in with my small purse. They pointed to the rules and said it wasn’t allowed but they said only said no BIG BAGS, my bag was not big.They were absolutely dead compared to the rest of the strip, they clearly don’t want business.

The bouncers out front are disrespectful. I was let in, but witnessed them turn away a group of people saying they were “closed” right after. (@1:15AM)I found a glass chip in my drink from the bartenders using the glass cups as an ice scoop. There was a roach in the bathroom. First and last time here.

Friend was turned away because the bald headed gaurd in front said no black people tonight. Will not be coming back. Didnt know this club was anti-black people. Black people dont come here. They have racist intentions.

On vacation, and I had ate something bad (pork instead of beef ribs) prior to coming here. All male staff accused my party of 4 that we were drunk and tried to attempt to kick us out because I threw up! And kept telling them I ate something bad. But they wouldn’t serve my party a drink at the bar. And watched us in the Women’s bathroom. They invaded our privacy! Mind you no one in my party was drunk... etc. could of easily sued them for this. Smh. But we’re not like that.

Worst bar in the area. Attempting to say a friend of mine is on something and wouldn’t let him in when he’s sober and has never drank a drop of alcohol in his life. To the chubby four eyes that’s at the front you look stupid. DO NOT COMETO THIS BAR WHAT A SHAME

My husband was refused entry to the club after the doorman said no, your eyes look funny, you are drunk He explained that he has one prosthetic eye and is legally blind, even offered to show the doorman his artificial eye, and was still denied entry.This club and its Management and Staff WILL be named in an ADA lawsuit if amends are not made!

The venue itself is a bit worn and getting close to shabby. The air conditioner works terrific and the bartender was handsome, great polite service, very friendly- made me feel welcome and I appreciate that as an older dude. 3.4 out of 5 stars. If you want to dance, give this place a shot.

Security/bouncer with dreadlocks repeatedly came over to me to touch me and stroke my hair- he even followed me into the women’s restroom. I was with 3 of my friends and he asked us all to leave as I was “too intoxicated” (i’d had 2 drinks over a period of more than 2 hours). Multiple witnesses and cops expressed that I was not intoxicated and that there was no viable reason to have removed me from the club. My girlfriend even ended up with bruises for to the excessive force used by another bouncer. Apparently, if you don’t allow the staff to grope you, you get thrown out. The same guy seems to racially profile any guests who are not Hispanic or African American. Don’t patronize this establishment.

I’m 33 years old and went with coworkers and was turned down because I dropped my id. Absolutely ridiculous I don’t highly recommend this location for a good and relaxing times very judgmental and non social. Don’t recommend

The need to change their whole management!!! The whole staff is extremely rude it seems Im not the only one who gets kicked out for being too drunk only after two drinks god forbid they see you having too much fun or dancing because you are drunk this place has gone downhill!!! I have only been here a couple times, but I absolutely love the phenomenal latin music! Its ridiculous how the employees act like cops and force you to sit down to dance in your seat! However, they are just following the archaic COVID rules...Anyway, relished the polite staff and the friendly patrons there

WASTE OF OUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!! Came all the way from Austin Texas just to get denied for wearing wedges (NOT HEELS). The bouncer was very rude when we tried speaking up for ourselves and told us “that’s not me problem”. We will never be returning here, we were very disappointed with their customer service.

I went to Havana for my first time last night, and I can easily say I will never go back. When I was in line to get in, the guy checked my ID, and looked at my purse in a weird way. I told him he could check it if he wanted to, because I saw that he was using a wand to search people before the entered. He replies with, “it’s okay, just tell them you didn’t know if they ask you” which I thought was a little odd, but I just brushed it off. I was in this club for 30-45 minutes before a man (short, tan, glasses, with another man) approaches me out on the smoking patio and tells me I need to leave because my purse is “too big”. (PS bringing another slightly taller guy with you doesn’t intimidate me, sorry) I asked why, and his reply was “well, with what happened in Orlando...” and wouldn’t give me a legitimate reason as to why I had to leave, which I think is completely uncalled for. I told him that the guy who is at the front willingly let me in and I told him to check it. They would not leave my side and watched me (more like stared me down) finish my drink before they followed me outside of the gate. Very unprofessional and inconsistent. Anyone who goes there, be aware that if you’re a female and your purse is bigger than an envelope, you’ll be asked to leave!

My girlfriend n I went tonight and the sad thing is I was wearing nice sandals in that place but they didnt let us in. But u can go in tennis shoes this dont make any sense at all I wont be going back

NOT NOT NOT!!!!! a good place that I would recommend at all.. beginning with the horrible and very POOR service also the couple times I went there,,, there were always fights around.. it must be the cheap alcohol they sale for a $1. that drives all this kids around their 20s crazy!!!**..also my girlfried was seen sitting on the TOILET :/ by every person who would walk into the ladies restrooms since the owner dont care about putting locks on the door or find a way for doors to luck so be ready to ask a stranger to hold it if you need to use them :((( .... THEREFORE! !!! ** I dont think its a safe and decent place to go....we all deserve better...

I was with my husband and friend tonight just talking near the back around 1am. A worker came up to us and escorted us to the front door with no explanation. I already was not enjoying my time, but I will not be coming back.

I was at this place from my first time las nite my straight friends take me there as a surprise because i came from Miami fl to work at the área which is my hometown.1. The guy who check at the front door ask if I was drunk and he wont let me go in after I explain that I have been in the meetings all day and minutes before I was sleeping in the way from my friends house to there he let me e go in.2. Around 1:30am I walk to the bar and it was there this guy with a kiss tattoo in hes neck I ask for a drink and he respond me u should drink water I said no I wanna a drink I was waiting until he service my drink with my credit card in my hand who he never prepared and he told u cant pay with a credit car then I get some cash from my wallet and he call the security and the security very educated ask me if I walk out to hem, when my friends sow me getting out they came to me at outside I ask what happened and they said the bartender guy said I was intoxicate.I sow person under age very drunk that night almost falling in the floor and why dont do nothing about them ..I think they have to be a professional Im a funny guy who enjoy dance and be nice with people and have been in a lot States around the country and never in any club havent keep out for a stupid think like this reason like this, I was drink Oly 1 beer and sex on the beach,.I will try to talk with the owner and let this know !!!But definitely dont recommend this placeThanks

Don’t come here. Horrible customer service. The lady from the bar said that I was drunk without drink anything because she saw me dancing. The lady from the bar served drinks without ask for ID, and there are always menor people under 21 years old. Horrible place, horrible customer service. For sure I never come back.

Take that DJ nosense, he is the most outdated DJ ever, not just that but he is genuinely not a good DJ. Havana when anyone else plays is such a good time but when hes there its just not worth it.

I went outside with a friend to smoke... we went to walk back in.. the doorman. Let her in and said i needed to wait back in line.. i told him we just came.out to smoke. He only let her in...and kept telling me.to go wait in line... take your money and go someplace else.. i wasnt trying to cut.. i had a drink inside on a table waiting..

The drunk dancer that dances on the bar cause she only 4, attacked some poor guy walking near the bar. The bar security escorted the guy out like he has done something wrong. I found out that the dancer likes only girls and hates guys. What a shame.

Whew! I absolutely loves the diversity of this place. I generally go to straight bars but NEVER AGAIN! Great people - great drinks-great music. I can’t wait until next weekend to go again.

Would leave zero stars, and here is why. I walked in the FRONT DOOR after being inspected by the door man for appropriate attire and spent 20 mins just working my way to a bartender that wasnt swamped with orders and just before he could take my (and three of my friends) orders I was accosted by security and asked to leave because they had video evidence of me jumping the guard rail for entry??? I was beyond confused because I had waited in line LIKE EVERYONE ELSE and dealt with the front door inspection (another 20 mins of my time) only to be told absolute LIES and that I had to leave immediately?? Im not a confrontational person and didnt want to cause more of a scene than the employees had already made because I hadnt done anything wrong, so I left and vowed to never return. I still dont understand what happened or why I was accused of wrong doing when THEY INSPECTED AND LET ME IN THE DOOR, only to accuse me of jumping fences and forcing me to leave after a total of 40 minutes waiting in lines for entrance and service. Absolute waste of time and Im thoroughly insulted by the claims made by security that are CLEARLY FALSE.Im hoping that someone will contact me regarding this situation because I would love to know where the claims even came from and SEE this video evidence that they swear they have. (Impossible, since I waited I line like EVERYONE ELSE.)

Love the place and everyone go to it very friendly very nice but only one complain is the drinks they taste bad and very expensive compared to the other bars around it 14 dollars for one drink that is 6.50 at tmc round up and jrs fix the problem or at least make it good to equal expectations

I have a blast every time I come to Havana. Good music and close quarters which makes dancing fun. Sometimes they have food which is also a plus.

Good luck trying to get a bartenders attention if you’re white. They will flat out IGNORE you.

A bar called Havana that doesn’t serve a simple Mojito! When I asked for one the bartender looked embarrassed to say the bar doesn’t serve them. We left and went to another bar.

Recently had a bad experience.Staff was very rude. Although I am married to a Latino and speak Spanish, I was not treated well. Es Una Pena!
