I recently visited Dierks Bentleys Whiskey Row bar and had a great experience overall. Though its a chain, the food was absolutely amazing—each dish was flavorful and well-prepared. However, the bar service was a bit slow, which was a slight downside. Despite this, the quality of the food made up for it, and I would definitely recommend giving it a try!
My husband and I went here for the first time a couple weeks ago on a Saturday. It was definitely not what we expected, it reminded me of vinyl more than anything. It was just rap music. We waited for 20 minutes on a bartender to take our drink order. And people were just throwing their cups and glass bottles on the floor. We left after 40 minutes of being there. Maybe another time..
First time here, came for lunch before a Rockies game. Made online reservations for 5 expecting to be busy before the game. Arrived to empty restaurant? On ground floor and was told to go upstairs. Walked upstairs to bar area? And stood. Waited almost 5 min while 5 employees stood at bar looking at me and did nothing but talk and look at me. Finally sometime walked over and asked it I needed help. I said Im here to check in and she said sit where you want, didnt seem to care about online check in. After we ordered, food was fairly quick and pretty good both chicken and Waffles and summer time breakfast burrito. Inside was definitely set up for evening party group. Seating was a bit different, outside seating benches were torn up. Do not use the bathroom. Again do not use. Both bathrooms have strong smell of urine and dozens of flies.
Great place if you are a Michigan fan! Great TVs for sports, but some seating faces the tiny TVs. It really depends which side of the table you sit on. The food is expensive and barely mediocre. Drinks are pricey as well. Service is fantastic and staff is very attentive.Price 2One of the most expensive sports bars in Denver. Basic food, high prices.Atmosphere 7If you are there specifically for a sporting event, the atmosphere is amazing. But, in general the crowd is pretentious alcoholics.Quality 6Drinks and food are not the specialty. The options are basic, and nothing remarkable to remember.Quantity 5Food and drinks are small. Appetizers barely get to the whole table and entrees leave you hungry. Drinks are in small glasses and are weak.Service 9Service is amazing. Staff is on point keeping area clean and orders coming in! Very attentive!
Affordable food and drink. Great atmosphere. Fun DJ. No issues with dress code for me or my party. Very professional and kind staff despite the large crowd. Can’t wait to come back!
It was definitely busy, and the service was very efficient and friendly. I ordered chicken and waffles, and the flavors were on point. However, it wasnt even luke warm. If it were hot, it would have been much better. I understand they were busy, and I would have preferred to have the food served at better temperature.
Nice venue, was quite empty on Sunday for brunch, but service and food were great. 4 stars because the place was pretty dirty, you can tell Saturday nights probably get busy, but cmon, clean the place correctly lol. Huge TVs and cornhole upstairs, definitely a nice overhaul from the previous venue. Looking forward to returning.
First and last time at this bar. Came in after a rockies game with 15 people. We had to sit at 3 different tables, with 1 of them being on the other side of us so it was like we were not even together. The waitress told us since we were a party over 6 it would be on one check. I assumed it was one check per table. NOPE! 1 check for all 15 of us and she told us we had to figure out who owed what. On top of charging auto gratuity, we now had to do her job??? I ended up paying way more than I should have because people were too drunk to remember what they ordered. If youre going to be lazy, at least have the table top ordering systems and just run the food and drinks.Their food was mediocre as well. In addition, the music was so wasnt even country. Which is what you expect to hear at a bar named after a country singer.... expect fail.
Super awkward experience, bottom floor was empty which it wasn’t a busy time so understandable. Went upstairs and stood around waiting for someone to either seat us or acknowledge us..nothing. we were glanced at by an employee like we were idiots so had to head out at that point. Vibe was completely off putting so went across the street and acknowledged immediately. Left food rating blank since we didn’t have the chance to try anything.
The food and drinks before 8pm are amazing, but good luck having fun after 8pm any day of the week. All tables are reserved, but they do not tell you that when entering the bar, so then anywhere you try to be you get moved from. I have also not received any service at the bar when trying to get a drink (table or not) And the girl bartenders are required to wear lingerie and yet do not have a seperate staff bathroom to use, so they use the normal womens bathroom. This bar is disrespectful and horrible. Do not go. Absolutely do NOT recommend.
Had been wanting to get into Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row for a while now. And I’ll tell you it didn’t disappoint! What a cool downtown Denver spot! Stopped in just after opening on a Saturday, sat upstairs at the bar, and enjoyed the weekend DJ. The bartenders were great, so refreshing to actually have staff that understands service! My wife and I both loved our brunch dishes too. That bacon maple drizzle on the potatoes was so good!Walking distance to Coors Filed if your catching a Rockies Game makes it super convenientHonestly already planning a visit back this coming weekend!
We came here for a bachelorette party and we had a blast! The DJ was amazing that night! We danced our butts off!The drinks were maybe a tad on the spendy side. BUT! We were getting ready to leave and were waiting for our friend to come downstairs, and the employees offered to give us bottle service for an amazing price! $.02! Dont ask how because I dont know haha!It was a great experience!
This place and its employees are disgusting. They told my brother, who is blind at night, that he wasnt allowed to go in with his cane unless he broke it down. I also wasnt allowed in myself because I had shorts on, but they were letting in other people with shorts.A respectful employee talked to our group, apologized, and offered for us to go in which we declined.Ive been in other times and its not good. Not nearly good enough to support as a business. Go elsewhere.
Fun crowd! Upstairs is more Hip Hop & RnB, and downstairs was more Top 40 / Pop. The downstairs bar closed 1st when I was there. 2nd floor stayed open till about 1:50am. Might seem like bartenders skip you, but be patient they are working left to right. (If that makes any sense)
I think this place is a bit underrated based on the 3.7 average. It’s a cool bar. Take it for what it is. Cool roof top with yard games. Paid 14.50 before tip for a well whiskey sprite and a high noon. Fun vibe, nice atmosphere.
Went to meet my friends son and watch the nuggets a game (his girl friend works there) we got two buckets of beer wings/fries! The bill was $176 with the automatic tip of 22% and a small venue charging!?!? WTH she brought us the wrong flavored wings and charged me an extra $29 for what I don’t know? One waitress was nice and it wasn’t the girlfriend!
Went after a Rockies game. Short on service. Was able to get server to take an order but watched several large parties leave as she was the only server and basicallyIgnored them. Was told we could only have one tab per table so that meant we needed to go to the bar. Bar was also short staffed. May go back as happy hour was good but will take some discussion.
I have never met a bartender as insufferable as the one that was there this Memorial day weekend (she has black hair light eyes). She completely ignored my friend and I standing there for 30 MINUTES! Everyone else right and left whom she could flirt with was getting drinks and she pretended like we werent there even when we were literally in front of her. No the bar wasnt packed people were all upstairs and barely coming in. She needs to find a job at a drive through where her attitude can match the establishment. We went upstairs where the bar was packed and we had our drink within 5 minutes from the male bartender. The music wasnt great and we left within 20 minutes to el patio.
Came in here to have food and drinks. Not busy in the slightest, bar was at 60% Sat at the bar, 3 bar tenders behind the bar. Zero acknowledgment, ignored me, sat for about 10 minutes. The bar tender checked on the girls at the bar a few times. It’s not hard to say hi, i’ll be right with or drop off a water. As a “Southern Style” bar - hospitality should be MUCH better than what i saw. The $300 i took out of the ATM will be spent across the street
DISCLAIMER: i did not order food here and we were here for an Avalanche Stanley Cup game. Needless to say…. It was SO COOL. Sweet venue with TONS of huge screens AND they play the volume of the game with music during the commercials. There’s other activities to do there and decent service considering how packed it was.Totally will return.
Extremely dissapointing service, I had won a free table through Instagram and it claimed it was a table of $500! Upon arriving they didn’t even ask me what kind of bottle I wanted and the girl didn’t even came nice and just gave us a freaking champagne bottle in my problem here is if that’s what you guys were gonna give me as free you guys should’ve never given me a “free” table… bottle service girl they didn’t even smile until we were basically forced to buy a bottle. So we bought a bottle that was $450 and it was a Casamigos when she came back with the receipt the total was 606 which I understood because of gratuity. We gave her $300 in cash and the rest in the card, but bottle service girl pocketed an extra hundred and she only put 200 towards the bill And charge my card 406! Honestly my problem here is she had already been tipped about $150 plus an additional 40 I had tipped her for the “free” table. It was definitely know what I would’ve expected. I was really trying to go here because I had never been in my experience was completely ruined I will from now on just stick to Riot House. Definitely an awful experience. And for future reference don’t be over here offering free tables if you’re not gonna offer a bottle of a choice because that’s fake advertising.
I’ve been into whiskey row a few times now and have really good experiences. The first time I went in was during St. Patty’s day with a bunch of my friends. Breanna S was our bartender and she was a blast and was even trying to make foam art in our beer. Yesterday we went for brunch. We had a great time and the food was amazing especially the biscuits and gravy. Hopefully you have Breanna when you go! She’s our favorite.
Great spot, perfect for a huge group! Would recommend grabbing a VIP table to accommodate larger groups. We had 16 guys for a Bachelor party and it worked out well.
What a fun venue for a private event. The upstairs can be reserved for private events that include its own staff and food options. There is indoor and outdoor seating as well as fire pits and corn hole.
This bar is really nice, if you like going to a Lodos type atmosphere but we came because it was supposed to be the best country bar in denver its not even close to a country bar! Its really just a sports bar that sells overpriced food! So, if your looking for a real COUNTRY bar, this DEFINITELY aint it my friend.
Actually, its a good time. 5 stars had they played country music on a Saturday night. But overall, it was a good time. The service was great. Did not eat there.
It definitely has its good side. The food is wonderful. We had a few of the drinks the porch pounder was good but the Apple of my eye was fantastic. My server was good but the bar making the drinks was very slow the second round of drinks was over 30 minutes wait. With a view just outside of Coors Field it is definitely right by the action. The band was great but the sound system is very lacking incredibly loud and not very clear. But two different performers played both of them were very talented.. They need to train the staff on how to properly wipe down the table. Cleaner should never be sprayed at a table where it causes it to be airborne while other people are eating nearby. The smell was almost enough to make me puke. The cleaner should be sprayed into the towel or cloth and then wipe down not so it sprays everywhere..
Great atmosphere, lazy staff, waited over 30 min and no server on a day with only approx 20 people, no care for the customer what so ever unless you are friends with the bar staff it seems, would be embarrassed to have my name attached to this restaurant/bar
Had the worse experience here because of some lady named Lane (GM). I’ve never been treated so poorly for asking a simple question. Never will I be back here, simply because of Lane. We were riding with a group of almost 30 people, everyone feels the same. Don’t recommend, go accross the street.
I was very disappointed in the cheap plastic cups and the size of the drinks. The bar Tender wasnt very friendly or welcoming. She seemed overwhelmed even with the lack of people there. I was also very bummed the downstairs was closed off.
Homophobic bar. Has an atmosphere that is not safe for LGBTQIA+ people. Really upsetting to be asked to leave just because of who I love.
Nice to have live music throughout the week but it was extremely loud. Very clean and spacious bar. Great place to watch a game. Drinks are extremely overpriced… $10 for a Whiteclaw and $15 for a cocktail. Came on a Wednesday and waited 20 minutes for our drinks. Great place for large parties of people with huge booths. I recommend going elsewhere. You’re just paying for the name of Dirks Bentley to be on the building…
Okay these other people have unreal standards. Food is great, the service is stellar (they really want to solve any issues to satisfaction which is almost uncommon anymore). I usually don’t give 5 stars but come with the expectation that this isn’t Guard and Grace. Fun place to entertain for sure! Selena is a great server, would totally recommend asking for her section.
The place is ok. Crowded, overpriced. A normal Denver downtown tourist and locals trap.Music is loud, but I guess thats the point.
Dude. Dierk, I am a teacher, and I could run this place better. Have you been to Nashville??!!! Competing rooftops? Boooring. We walked across the street and 🕺 baby.
Great lil bar! I’m not sure about the food as we just ordered drinks. We sat at the bar, service was typical bar service. Drinks were good and typical price, $17 for 4 drinks. Would come back! Atmosphere is good.
Came in last nite (Wed. Feb 23, 2022) for the band. Glad we got an hour of their happy hour prices $5 wells & $3 beers... because regular drink prices are way overpriced…$10 for a Whiteclaw & $15 for cocktails. Food was ok. We only came clear across town for the band, and thought we’d check out a new place... but probably won’t be back at those prices, it’s not worth the 45min commute but the band was worth it!

Just went in for the first time and my experience was one of a kind. Denver doesn’t have anything like this and it’s a nice change of pace from the normal downtown Denver scene. My server was Kaylin and she didn’t miss a beat. Great service and even better food. I got the beer can chicken and let me tell you i will definitely be back to watch the game this weekend on that huge led you guys have. I look forward to Coming back.
I saw a bunch of negative reviews on this place but everywhere I was going I was getting recommended to come here. This past Saturday I went with a group of six (all Mexican Americans and can see it on our skin), security was very nice, bartenders were good, and the DJ was playing hit after hit with the crowd. It was a very good experience especially for being out of towners and I would definitely go back. Btw the drinks are priced good as well especially for it being Denver
ONE OF THE WORST BARS IN DENVER! We took my friend here for her Birthday & got a table & bottle service. The place was filthy! Floors were sticky! Even the glasses they gave us were sticky! The champagne they gave us was warm & tasted disgusting. We didn’t even drink it! Didn’t dare to even order food with how bad everything else was. Very disappointed!
I stepped outside because my ears were ringing from their poor audio setup and when I went to go back inside because my friends were still in there they told me the doors were closed. It was 11am. They close at 2. Then they let someone in 5 seconds later. Come on.
Visited for a private work event and really enjoyed the place! Drinks were all excellent — really loved the variety of cocktails on the menu. The pretzel bites and mac & cheese were pretty tasty too. All the bartenders and servers were quite friendly and quickly to help. The outdoor patio definitely is a nice bonus — the views there are great!
Very friendly and accommodating staff! Food was good and the DJ was great!
It was very unpleasant the music sucked and the security staff were wannabe something. I would walk 5 miles and pay 20 dollars for a glass of water before I go to that place again.
Went here for Michigan watch party, had never been here before. Atmosphere was very cool, the DJ played the fight song on scores and Mr Brightside like in the stadium.Courtney was a great server! Hash and breakfast sandwich was very good.
Why!!!! Why would you take the grilled cheese off the menu?!?! That alone is what knocks the review down from 5. Employees are great, place is clean, music is the best and the food...... Well the food WAS some of my favorite. Yall killed it. PUT IT BACK!!!
Super disappointed that the dress code seems to only apply to certain individuals... We were told no short, sweats, Timberlands , Jordans etc.. But while sitting there this was allowed.. Sweats, shorts and Timberlands.... Sad that we have to deal with Profiling!! First and Last time at this location!! Had high hopes for this place 👎
Great mimosa and cowboy coffee. Didn’t try any food. Service was good on a Sunday morning
Bartender charged another groups drinks on my card and another person’s card in my group. When we brought it up she had a very bad attitude then had security kick us out. The bouncers escalated the situation more than it needed to be and a bouncer came off the stairs to try and fight a drunk member of my party escalating the situation further.
Don’t go here, the bartenders are just terribleProlly sell themselves in the backThe pizza truck across street is gas tho
Came here for the Hot Country Nights concert on Labor Day. The ads said doors open at 4 and show at 6. Show actually started after 8 which sucked standing on concert expecting them to start for two hours. There was only a DJ until 8, so it’s not like there was an “opener.” I was very hungry, tired, dehydrated as there were no water stations in or out of the bar. Waiting at the bar took 30+ minutes each time without a wait. Well drinks were $10. Waitresses seem required to wear bikini type bottoms on normal days which we are in a day and age where that is so antiquated. Do better Dierks. Lost a lot of respect for you. Ended up going to the bar across the street to actually have accessible food, water, and affordable drinks. What an absolute waste of money. No need to pay when you can just go to a different bar on the block and get a better experience.
A group of us treated ourselves to bottle service in celebration of a bachelor party in September. Unfortunately a patron who was denied entry shot 5 people outside, fortunately nobody was killed. The staff shut down the music and turned on the lights leaving a large and confused group with no information. Eventually talk of what happened started spreading through the room causing pockets of panic. Once the police got there we were escorted out while being badgered by the staff with an iPad to pay for services that we didnt even get to enjoy. Whiskey Row refused to work with us on the tab even though we had left a good majority of our order behind.
Decent spot but I couldn’t believe how dead it was. Nothing wrong with it, definitely deserves higher than the 3.7 it has now
We were there for the Michigan national championship. Staff were awesome and 3 friendly bartenders hustled all night to keep up with about 200 people. Food was good for a packed bar.
Large corporate bar with the wildly inaccurate claim of having the latest happy hour on the block. (Brothers, literally next door, runs theirs until 8pm ) Happy hour includes the usual inexpensive options, like artichoke dip and pretzel bites for half off. The draft list is focused on American domestics, but does include a handful of Odell, DBC, and other large Colorado brews.Atmosphere is more concert hall than bar, with live music most nights. They sign on the entry warns of a dress code, presumably for the late night crowd, as the bartenders all had exposed midriffs. Decor includes an inexplicable Harley sportster in the middle of the bar between the taps, and the far wall features mismatched speakers and gigantic pictures of models wearing Dierks Bently branded clothing.Pros: live music, cheap domestic beers during happy hourCons: mediocre mixed drinks, boring menu, and that scummy feeling you get from visiting a place with sexualized employees
They let women get groped here and kick out the ones who defend them while the groper is allowed to stay
Trashiest bar I’ve ever stepped foot in. Literally trash all over the floor, disgusting bathrooms with dirty tampons and pee all over the place. Don’t go in expecting a country bar or to receive decent service.
We were so disappointed with Whiskey Row Denver. Our appetizer creamy spinach dip with grilled pita bread was brought out so burnt you could clearly smell it as our server brought it to the table. We were there for happy hour and two of us ordered sliders specifically well done. They were brought out so rare that they definitely could not be eaten. We never did get new ones because it took so.... long that we told the server to forget it. Drinks were good! Server did not apologize and was very cold and unfriendly. We were so excited to go here! Will try another Whiskey Row in a different city.
Bought a bottle for $600 and got kicked out for being on the table we paid $600 for if you want to have fun do not come
Went here for bday party. It was WAY to loud. Luckily I carry my loop earplugs. I feel bad for anyone there that didnt have hearing protection.
Came here for brunch with a friend on a Saturday morning. Everybody working here was super nice and funny. The drinks were top notch and full strength mimosas! Probably the best avocado toast I’ve ever had.
We came here with a big group for a bachelorette/bachelor party. The music was okay and the bottle service was average. The huge issue I have with this establishment is that they tried taking advantage of us and doubling the bill that was expected. We spoke with the bottle girl before anything was chosen telling them we were willing to spend $1300 for a bottle. That was agreed upon so when the bill was $3600 we were shocked. It was very predatory behavior and we will not be returning. I’m not sure if they thought we would be to drunk to notice or because the bill was split between two people it would get lost in translation. I don’t know. But it’s completely unacceptable to try and take advantage of people. The security also refused to let people use the bathrooms at the end of the night. Who does that?Don’t waste your money here.
I love this place. Been here twice. Good drink at fair prices. Good place to dance and hang out. Wife was a little disappointed she thought thered be a little more country but hip hop is apparently king here. I didnt mind. We both had a good time regardless
Great Upstairs/downstairs combo. My friends and me always have a blast here. The drinks are a bit on the pricier side but nothing too high seeing as to where the bar is. Good service and not at all trashy. Love Sunday nights here and is the GO TO spot once the rockies game is over. Def worth checking out
Game day or friends day out entertainment perfection. Screens galore to watch 5-6 games at the same time. Great food selection, from; Stake, Nachos, bar drinks & beer on tap... Will go back again.
Went for a paided in advance event through vet tickets and after waiting for service I went to the bar and ordered our drinks. The bar tender told me they only had 2 servers for over 300 people. I finally found our server and asked her to stop by our table for a food order. She told me the kitchen was so backed up that they were no longer taking food orders. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. Everyone was complaining about the service. We felt bad for the servers and bar crew and they kept apologizing for such a bad experience. We wont be going back.
Be wary of this place. 0/10 would recommend. Came here for VIP and honestly the service has really soured my taste in this establishment. Not only will they try and upsell you at every turn, they will charge for alcohol that you never agreed upon. The servers are preying on the inebriated to try and pull a fast one. Especially Ashley/Red, who was super nice to our party but then went and charged us twice the amount of what we had agreed on for a larger tip and gratuity. Listen to the other reviews, dont waste your time here.
Went here for an early happy hour with 2 of my best friends after work, Gabbi at the bar took care of us and she was great. As soon as we sat down she greeted and was happy to help us and explain the drink/food specials as it was out first time. She checked in on us often and really took care of us. It was a pleasure and well definitely be back to see Gabbi!
Single-handedly the worst place I’ve ever been to. The organization of how an event is handled was trash! We arrived at 12:30 to enjoy mimosas and food and were told that we couldn’t order food until 1:30. So when we were expecting brunch all we were able to have was only mimosas. They were understaffed with only two waitresses taking orders and we were ignored the whole time. We then started ordering from the bar after not being helped until about 1:00. At 1:30 we asked the bartender if we could order food and she stated that they still had 60 tickets and extended wait times for food until 2:00. If you are to have an organized event like this in the future, make sure you schedule the staff and plan ahead. I will make sure I tell everyone I know to never come to this place.
I enjoy this place. A lot of room to dance when you get enough drinks.
Clubs normally have bouncers on a power trip but I’ve never had such a bad experience. We purchased a table for $1k for a friends engagement and it was overrun by people not in our group. To make matters worse, once we stopped buying more booze, bouncers started removing members of our group for unfounded reasons and no prior warnings. I would avoid and spend money elsewhere.
They took our bar chairs away from us at 5:00 p.m. stating that if they leave them out there are too many bar fights. Very rude. We put in an order for food and it was never entered so we had to wait a long time to re-enter the food order. We did finally get it and it wasnt bad but the way they treat people there and the atmosphere is horrible.
Literally the worst experience of my life. This place is a rip-off and one cant feel more discriminated against after how they threw out my wife. The sweetest person youll ever meet. I paid for bottle service at $400 for a bottle of Ciroc. They had a 22% automatic gratuity for a girl that should not be serving at waffle house let alone a VIP and another stupid fee that I cant remember. Totaling $539. We tried to enjoy ourselves but when you have to serve your own drinks and get pressured to leave the table because they want to sell it to someone else is horrible. We finished our bottle and not even 5 mins after it was done the bouncers showed up and kicked my wife out for falling asleep when she was dancing on some white girl. She did not deserve that and I feel like this place gave us the absolute worst experience Ive ever had. Never again will I go there to get my overpriced drinks or go to enjoy Standing in line forever to get one and you shouldnt either.
A freaking great place to have a good time on a Friday night! Ally by far was the most welcoming and fun waitress and made sure we were all taken care of! Seriously, felt like she was one of us! Would highly recommend for your next night out!!
Unfortunately, I ended up having an anxiety attack while I was there. That was my issues which is fine. But the way they handled it was not okay. They kicked me and my friend out, flashed lights at us (which made it worse for me), and took my water away from me. I hope that the security gets trained on how to handle those sort of situations better in the future because it makes me never want to go here or recommend it ever again!
I wanted to update my review after a conversation with Kevin. The staff and Kevin are top notch people that are working with what they have to provide outstanding entertainment. Understandably it needs to be successful. I believe they will communicate what you can expect and avoid the surprises in the future. If your looking for a country bar This is not for you.I doubt Dierks Bently or any other country artist has been to Whiskey Row lately.Severely disappointed but the staff that set up our bottle service table was very helpful and polite!!!
After Rockies game, we intended to grab a bite and some good drinks. A whiskey bar is what we were looking for. We waited and never got service. My husband went to the bar and asked for a Whiskey Neat. Bar tender asked if he wanted that in a shot glass. 🙄 For a Whiskey Bar, it was very disappointing that the bar tenders didnt know their Whiskeys, nor how to seve it. We had a drink and relaxed and when it was obvious that we werent going to get served (50 minutes without a waitress) we decided to leave. On our way out, we went to use the restroom and were welcomed by vomit on the floor. Needless to say, we just left.
Long story short, we came here for my Bachelorette and they promised us one price for the table and ended up charging us more than double that with a 22% autograt. The reason why we didn’t realize it initially was because they split the payment with two people, and each person thought they were paying the whole bill and would figure out venmo’s later. After tons of back and forth in the following weeks the manager did (thankfully) refund the difference in the price promised vs what was delivered but it took a ton of time, effort, communication on the end of my two friends who were stressed out and exhausted by the whole experience. But, they wouldn’t let us update the gratuity (which was billed based on the $3800 price) and definitely not deserved by the server. The server was definitely trying to take advantage of a situation where people were drunk and she thought they wouldn’t notice. She got her tip so it worked, I guess.
This place takes and holds on to your ID without notifying you first. When you order a drink, they ask for your ID then walk off with it. Considering all the places in town that will open a tab for you without even holding on to your credit card, this came off as uninviting and lacked the spirit of hospitality. (A sort of you better be able to pay your tab or we are going to keep your ID vibe.) I felt like I received bad service for asking about it as well, and I did so politely just to clarify why they walked off with my ID. I dont think this is going to be a spot I find myself at very often. I live downtown and have had much better experiences at lots of other locations nearby. The food was ok.
Really solid bar- super nice interior and love the atmosphere. It can get pretty packed if youre not there ahead of time / dont have a reservation. Super helpful/friendly staff too. Tommy took care of me and my friends and helped us to our table and made sure we were served. Guy was an absolute pleasure to work with. Ill definitely be back with service like that.
Kicked me out as I was dancing with my girlfriend. Place is hell
This was our third visit to Whiskey Row. This visit was much better than all of the others! The entrance was clearly marked, and there were some easy to read promotional signs near the front. The music was at a perfect level, not so loud that we couldnt hear each other talk, but loud enough to create a very fun environment. Fun patio upstairs. Our server was Ashley and she was fantastic in every way. Friendly, accommodating, personable. We Were a group of ten and she was unfazed by our large party. She made meaningful small talk, knew the menu very well, and asked before she had to say no. The food was hot and excellent, and each item we ordered had a Southern spin that made the menu unique. The chicken and waffles were large and cooked well, and came with a side of jalapenos. The country hash was served with two over-easy eggs and also can a side of jalapenos. The pancakes were large and delicious. Surprisingly, the side of toast was a huge hit. One piece of very fresh bread, toasted and buttered perfectly, and served with butter, jelly and honey. The brunch prices are so reasonable that I feel all of the dishes we ordered could be increased in price by a few dollars and could include a piece of toast. That would be an incredible offering!!Austin checked on us and was so friendly, and the food runner was so professional and attentive. All the people we watched were working hard, worked quickly, and looked like they all had a specific job and a specific goal. That made for very smooth service. The ONLY thing I could really say about Whiskey Row is that there are not many non-alcoholic options. No juice, no coffee, no tea, no fun non-alcoholic drinks. Only soda. No big deal but would be nice.Great new restaurant near Coors Field that will be a blast when the Rockies play.
The bartenders ignored us, didn’t even acknowledged us or look at us, nor served us after we asked three times politely for help and waited patiently for about 5-10 minutes while they served others who’s skin was not darker complected. There was an event, so we gave them the benefit of the doubt. It was busy. However, it was obvious the BARTENDERS DID NOT WANT TO SERVE US, black American females. Several white customers walked up to the bar and the bartenders served them immediately. Even a white customer pointed out that the bartenders were ignoring us. Another black couple mentioned they had the same experience, where the bartenders completely ignored them and proceeded to help those that were white individuals. Our mimosas tasted nasty. We left after drinking a little bit of our drinks, went to another bar and had a better experience.
I expected a country bar with country music. Not so much. Could not get someone to wait on the table I was at. Had to go to the bar and stand in line for over 20 minutes. Will not be back
The security guy treated women like trash!!Last night, February 24, around 11pm, me and my group of my 4 girlfriends were dancing when we got approached by a female employee. She asked if we wanted to go to the vip area because that were a man alone and wanted people with him. We were hesitant at first but we agreed since we were celebrating my sisters birthday and we thought that it would fun. He offered us drinks and we were all dancing having a good time. When we told the man that we were married he became aggressive and extremely disrespectful, shouting and cussing us. We obviously left and went dancing in front of the DJ area which was relatively close to where the man were. That wasn’t enough for him. He paid a male security guard to make us leave for accepting his drinks and being married. We tried to pay for bottle service too but were refused. A male security guard, white and blonde, in his late 20s our early 30s kicked us out of the bar yelling at us for no reason because we were being compliant and not disrupting anything or anybody, we were simply dancing among ourselves. Instead of being protected by him we were afraid of him. Me and my friends have never been disrespected like this. We have left reviews and will post what happened on social media. Other women need to know what happens inside this bar. We feel like if a man can pay for your security man to kick us out because we told him we were married, that means your security is complicit with other forms of male abuse. It’s unbelievable and unacceptable that in 2023 women are still treated this way for say no. It should have been obvious to us that women are not respected in that establishment when female workers need to show their bodies to attract clientele. We would not make that mistake again and will make sure that that other women don’t make it too.Ive never been disrespected by staff in a placewhere I was paying to be at. Im still in completeshock and repulsed. Its unbelievable that in 2023man still use their gender to mistreat and disrespectwomen. This has never happened to me before. Iwill not return and always tell what happened to meto the women that I care.
This pass weekend was my birthday celebration and was looking forward to having a great time with 15 of my closes friends. Heard a lot hype about this place so decided to celebrate here, worst decision of 2022 by far. Service was mediocre, seem like the staff didn’t really know their ID policies. Got there early with the plan of getting a table for the night, didn’t know they were reserved only after 9pm. So they made us all leave the tables we had sat at for over an hour. Probably should have signs on the tables saying they’re reserved only?? Drinks were overpriced. My whole group spent a lot of money that night on drinks that were poorly made. After a couple hours of a responsible, drama-free night I had a pair of security approach me telling me, “you’re done”. Confused I asked what the problem was, their respond was I got pointed out by someone on staff that I was stumbling and purposely spilling my drinks on people. I’m 100% sure they had me mistaken with somebody else so politely asked to speak with the supervisor or the person that pointed me out to clear things up. I was told to step outside and they would bring the supervisor so I kindly stepped out to talk. On the way out we crossed a couple of people that were way more intoxicated than me and actually spilling drinks and I asked what about them, they said they weren’t the problem I was. Once I stepped out they never got the supervisor for me and kept assuming I was “done”. Even one of the on duty officers said that I didn’t seem super intoxicated and didn’t really see a reason to get kicked out. All in all, they embarrassed me, definitely ruined my celebration. Maybe if your security focused more on their surroundings and not busy talking to the waitresses they would be better on noticing intoxicated patrons.
2 stars only because of the bartenders, this review is more a reflection of the policies of a name brand corporation that obviously doesnt care about the local sports fan. Happy hour from 6 to 10pm includes food from the kitchen, yet after an Avs or Rockies game or DURING a Nuggets playoff game, the kitchen is closed before 10pm?Dont hand out coupons for 1c beers if youre going to he closed after a Rockies game. Great place with tvs and like I said, bartenders are awesome, but whoever is making these business decisions is not in the best interest of the local sports fan!
We had a group of 4 of us and spent several hours in this bar watching March Madness and listening to live country music. We ordered dinner and were drinking so we spent over $500 hundred dollars and when they changed from a country bar/restaurant to a club type atmosphere we were basically thrown out. We weren’t even given the opportunity to buy our table or even finish our drinks. I wonder if Dierks Bentley knows that this is how people are treated with his name on it. Was so excited to go there and left feeling completely disappointed. Won’t be back!
We came here as a bachelorette/ bachelor group and got a VIP table. We originally asked for an $800 bottle of casa Migos. They came back and informed us they didn’t have it but would give us a bottle of 1942 don julio at a discounted rate of $1100 and a smaller bottle of casa Migos at a discounted rate of $200. We clarified it would be $1300 with the server and she said yes. They even threw in a free bottle of champagne. Sounded like it all worked out. We tried to split the tab between two people. They charged each of us $1800. We thought $1800 was the total which would’ve made sense with taxes etc. When we went to the establishment to rectify the situation we realized they charged us $2500 for the bottle of don julio. To jump from an $800 to $2500 makes no sense to me. It became a he said she said as the server claims she told us. We had multiple witnesses that attest otherwise. The manager did try to rectify the situation after many calls emails and texts. She agreed to reimburse us $1400 ( the difference between the $2500 and quoted $1100). This felt like a step in the right direction. However they would not rectify the taxes or the 22% gratuity (that is based on the total price) to reflect the new price. We still lost out on hundreds of dollars. And personally would have never wanted to tip that much after everything they put us through. This definitely felt like we were taken advantage of. It’s dark, late, and people have been drinking so it’s easy to do. Would not recommend this experience for anyone.
I love whiskey row and have had great experiences here until i had my first terrible interaction and it was with dani, the bartender she is racist, disrespectful, and straight up rude. she has bare minimum customer service skills. would not recommend as a bartender.
Courtney was an absolute rock star. She was constantly running around making sure, not only my immediate section, but everybody at the bar had a full glass and was ready to have fun. It’s rare to find such a sweet soul that genuinely cares about others. The bar itself was fine, definitely a good time. But it’s Courtney, and the overall service in general that’ll keep me coming back!
Went on a Friday night and it was surprisingly more fun than expect the atmosphere was lit, the drinks were priced good, the music was on point. I stayed upstairs and totally forgot about downstairs. The outside has a packed environment so your in the right area to get down and real good time. Check it out yourself you wont be disappointed
I had such a great time going to whiskey row, my server, Morgan was lovely and was very accommodating to my table. I was grateful for her help and guidance through the menu. She was great! Would come back just to have her serve my friends and me again.
Very cool place! TVs and Massive screens in every direction so no matter what you can see whatever game you came for. Heather was our bartender and she was very nice, super attentive, and was always checking on us! 10/10 will be back.
Love it here! Smash was awesome!! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and sat down at the bar to have immediate service. As a former bartender, I was very impressed by the interactions and the knowledge Smash has. Definitely recommend!
Was so excited to try this place out...got there at 5pm and had dinner and drinks until 9pm or so and then the place transforms into a night club and we were told we needed to leave our table even though we just wanted to finish our drinks. We had so many security guards wanting us to leave our table. Most expensive bottle service I have ever seen. Was disappointed in how the evening ended and went to Viewhouse and had a great time. Will not be returning.
Great bar with two separate levels of fun. Upstairs is more nightlife focused early on, with a turf outdoor area that has corn hole and fire pits. Food and drinks were great, both floors have good music throughout the night, most of which is not country but upbeat dance music.
We sat at the bar for brunch and ordered bottomless mimosas with our food. Courtney was so great! She made sure our drinks were constantly full and was so fun to talk too. Will be back!
Great Atmosphere!! Very Nice and Attractive Girls behind the bar... Especially Sherry,Jewls, and Abby!! And Attentive too!! If I was a local, Id definitely make this place my go to place to go. It was nice to see some people working for a change And with a smile 😃
The absolute worst bar in all of Denver very dirty from the floors to the bathrooms to every the staff. Probally the worst management staff to ever exist. The security all have a huge ego problem and are racist but I would too if that was my career job the drinks are horrible the food is mediocre at best. The cups for the drinks are nasty lipstick on my glass. The funniest part is they don’t even play any country music why would u call it such a name. But I mean in Scottsdale it’s usually the last bar anyone ever goes to which says a lot. If you’re in Denver save your money and time and go to way better bars.
I was having a good time and my friend was a bit drunk so I was taking him to the bathroom so they kicked us out,
Stopped in to this popular club with some friends from Chicago. We ended up getting seats at the bar upstairs...so glad we could not get a table! So much fun! The bartender, Eric, helped us pick some signature drinks..I had the Backstage Marg....soo good! Really fun and knowledgeable people working there! They made it really fun for us and we will definitely go again! Like tonight!!
Selena: she served us today and it was an amazing experience. Great customer service and made us feel at home. We are visiting from out of state and are very impressed with the level of service and professionalism Selena provided to us. Would definitely recommend and come back!
We visited Whiskey Row for brunch on Sunday and we’re so looking forward to it. We had a party of 8.First off, the place looks spectacular! But it didn’t take too long to go downhill from there. The floor on the main bar was sticky and hadn’t seemed to have been mopped from the Saturday night festivities. No big deal let’s go upstairs. We had a huge booth reserved for us but it is oddly payed out. There are two tables with a bench on 2 sides in an L shape. The table held 6 adults which meant 2 of us would have had to sit at the table across which is 6’ away. We asked to get chairs and did so on our own from a corner and downstairs , as the staff doesn’t help with thatThey don’t split bills for parties over 4 people (?) and had no latitude on the bottomless mimosas. Could get cranberry versus orange juice. We asked if they could leave a pitcher of mimosas for the 4 of us having bottomless but that is against the corporate rules. Heard that 4-5 times while we were here. Each time we asked for a refill, our waitress stopped and stared with a “you want a second, then third mimosa”We ordered 2 Cowboy Coffees and asked for the to be served hot, they came cold. One party asked for toast with their eggs and was told it would take 8-10 minutes after his meal was served. When the bill came there was a built in 2% venue charge and a 22% gratuity built in.Our whole group was so disappointed in the service, the attitude and lack of customer care. This place is on the more expensive side of things and definitely didn’t live up to the standards that we expected from Dierks Bently.
Wouldn’t let our group in because we had a couple of guys with Birkenstocks on. Yet, they let the ladies in front of us with them. Makes sense, right? Good news is they said if we bought a bottle they would let us in. What a frigginnn joke. Take your money elsewhere people.
Went at night great place to visit if you like to dance
I was in town last night and stoped by whiskey row to get food and some drinks Gina was our waitress. Our dining experience was amazing she knew the whole menu and our drinks kept on coming without even asking. Will definitely come by when we are in town.
Got my card charged twice, have called over and over again. Have talked to a night manger who said she would have another manager give me a call, still haven’t received one. If you plan on getting your money back from this GOOD LUCK.
My goodness! I dont know where to start! The food is absolutely amazing, just a beautiful aroma and taste of flavor!!!!And I have to say, my server and bartender for me and my lady, were incredibly awesome!!!!! Jesse and Mike, thank you for the hospitality and great service, we have never recieved such great kindness and heart warming service before ; more like friendship. Thank you El Jefe for giving us the people such a great experience!
Worst bar in Denver...spend tons of money on bar drinks and then get kicked out when you are having a little fun. Bouncer was on a power trip and was very rude upon entering and singled a group of my friends out later in the night. Horrible management. We were from out of state and they did not give some of our groups ID and CC back after kicking them out.
Downstairs staff was very friendly. We had two parents groups there to celebrate two birthdays. Staff besides security was not helpful or friendly. Also prices seem to be different from upstairs and Downstairs. Also ridiculous to upcharge 3 bucks more to get your drink chilled. We had fun but would be a once a year thing pri ea very high. But fun place.
I purchased tickets for the Mimosa Fest that was held at Dierks. I was so excited. I am a Colorado native and have not been to the location since it was Lodos. I had high hopes for this place. We had a party of three. With our tickets for the mimosa fest, we received three vouchers for three mimosas each. It was packed, there was no place to sit. When purchasing the tickets it does disclose that seating is first come first serve. I completely can comprehend that. My party and I decided to head to the middle of the space, where the bar is located. I was INCREDIBLY disappointed with the lack of acknowledgment from the bartenders. We waited over 30 minutes for a drink. We had multiple bartenders who did not check in, acknowledge, give us a thumbs up, or anything. They all made direct eye contact with me and looked away. While working in customer service industry for over ten years, I get it. I understand lack of staffing, being busy, it is easy to over look customers. I felt completely ignored. There was a point where the bartenders were going out of their way to ignore my party. So disrespectful and disappointing. Once getting our first drinks we walked around, the location was clean. I enjoyed the beer pong, corn hole space and outdoor seating area. We where able to get three seats at the bar. We used the remainder of the tickets for mimosas, ordered additional drinks, and breakfast. The food we had was okay. It was a good wait time (understandable due to how busy it was for the event.) My food was cold. I asked for sunny side up eggs and sausage. I got scrambled eggs and bacon. By this point it was just comical and I just ate my food. For me the lack of communication from the bartenders was my biggest concern. Some acknowledgment such as “I’ll be right with you.” “Hey there are 6 people ahead of you” SOMETHING. I just got looked at and dismissed. Then, when others were getting helped when my party and I were waiting much longer? Overall, I will be starting a campaign to bring Lodos back.
I had an amazing experience, from the drinks to the area to the service. Gina was in my mind most of the time amazing quality control and amazing personality. Random person yet she seemed like a lifelong friend, highly recommended this place. And if you go ask for GINA!!
I just recently visited this place for brunch with some coworkers last week. The house specialty cocktails were really delicious. The food that I ordered was so so. It was the brunch plate with two sunny side up eggs mashed potatoes some jalapenos, it wasnt bad just not great. My coworker had pancakes that were the size of a house slightly burnt but with the sauce and fruit compote it would have been delicious had it not been burnt. My partner had a caesar salad with a very nice blackened piece of salmon and it was really delicious. Our waitress only being there one week was totally on top of our large group constantly bringing drinks amazing customer service! We will definitely go back
Family went for lunch before Rockies game today...First the positives- Great design of restaurant and bar. Ashley our server was very attentive and friendly. We placed our food order and after an hour of waiting had Ashley Check with Kitchen on when our food would be ready. Kitchen said they were backed up and would be at least another 20 minutes. Restaurant was not that busy with many tables open and about half the bar seats open. Game time was10 minutes away so we cancelled our food order and left... Thank you Ashley and sorry Kitchen did not match your service..
Went to whiskey for the first time today. Super cool environment… you can tell they love to have fun! John and Korey were my bartenders today, they were very kind and made great conversation. I met Courtney who was an absolute sweetheart… she made me a super yummy lemon shot for me. I also got to meet Kate who had killer recommendations for the spinach dip and buffalo sliders!! Delicious! Thank you for having me today! Can’t wait to be back!
This is the bar Denver has been needing! Such an amazing atmosphere with tons of lighting, tvs and places to socialize. The servers were quick and knew what they were doing. Also their chicken tenders are legit some of the BEST I’ve ever had! Which is surprising for such a basic dish, but sooo good!So excited to have a go-to place with live music and all the screens for sports watching. 10/10 would recommend. Can’t wait to go back!
We used to frequent this location before it switched over to WR. Its ruined.Food - so greasy. Its like Dierks took Nashvilles bar food and tried to bring into CO. How do you make a club sandwich greasy?Ambience - roof top patio has been revamped. Either full sun or on the back of the bar. Its CO. Its too hot in full sun. Music was stinking loud for Sunday at noon. It was like it was Saturday night.Cleanliness - My feet stuck to the floor everywhere. The bathroom - disgusting.Service - a bit slow but adequate. Never even asked how food was. Establishment was about 25% full. Other rooftop bars : overflowing.Lesson learned.
Disappointed in our visit here. First, the bouncer out front does not have a consistent policy when it comes to backpacks. In my group 2 of us has black fashion backpacks and my friend got in but I was rejected from getting in even though it is a small personal backpack as a purse. If you’re going to have a policy, at least be consistent.Once I got inside (backpack in car), the drinks were SO EXPENSIVE. 2 high noons were $23!!! Absolutely unreal prices and I will 100% never come back for that reason alone. Finally the music was so loud and the patio was closed, so it was either get our ear drums blown out or leave, so we left. Extremely disappointing, especially because I love Whiskey Row in Nashville. This location is a sell out.
Very poor service. My friends and I attended the mimosa festival. There was not enough seating for everyone there, the music was blaring, and the servers and bartenders were very disorganized and scattered. It took about 45 minutes of repedadtly being ignored by both servers and bartenders to get a single mimosa. After that ordele, we decided to go downstairs for brunch, thinking that the service would be better and the music wouldnt be blaring. The waitress was extremely unconcerned with our table, ignored us while smiling and regularly touching her 3 other tables, did not write our orders down, had to come back and ask what we ordered, and lied to us about being out of champagne. We watched the bartender continue to make mimosas for tables in her section and others as well.
I have never had this bad of service! Jasmyn needs to be re-trained. She came to us to get our drink order then food and never saw her again! Not once did she ask how everything was! I wanted the aioli sauce on the side but it came on the sandwich! I took 2 bite and didnt eat anymore! My friend got the mac and cheese and it was so dry she couldnt eat it! The boys got the brisket sandwich and it wasnt very good but the jasmyn didnt even ask what was wrong and we couldnt even tell her since she didnt come to our table once while we were eating! I will never be back again!!
I had the brisket sandwich and it was really good. Although I do think the prices were more inflated than they should have been. The service was sub par. A lot of 20 somethings that did ok I guess. It took a while for some to acknowledge that we had been sat. I ordered wings initially but the server came bake and said they didnt have any and had to ask what drink I ordered. I thought that was strange because I had ordered a coors light which is the most common beer in Colorado.
Absolutely love this bar. day or night. great service, good music, and the place to be when you’re looking for some fun. Tommy Landis is one of the security bouncers and he’s an absolute angel. Always helping out and having a good time. Sometimes my friends and I just go to visit him, always end up having a blast of a night. Highly recommend. 👌🏽
A group of friends and myself went in for lunch the other day. Not only was the food amazing but our service was even better. Kaylin was our server and she did not miss a beat, she was busy with other tables but still was able to give us constant attention. I highly recommend the beer can chicken and will definitely be coming back again soon.
Big party of 15. We started out upstairs, and Gina was great. We were coming and going, and just being happy with life and she just helped us to keep the party flowing. Even when my cousin who is only 20 came to join for some food and we got booted downstairs. Gina handed us off to Erin, thankfully it was seamless and the good times rolled on. Great place ❤
The atmosphere is great at the place. The food and drinks needs some help. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was pretty dry. The brussel sprouts are amazing though. Dont get a mixed drink, it is all ice. I ordered an old fashioned and it maybe had a 1 oz pour. Not with the money in my opinion.
Service was terrible. Drinks sucked. But the security team was the biggest complaint... Should lose the ego. Try to listen to your customers.. Provide a solid experience instead of being DBs.Such a lame experience and a waste of money coming to this bar. Beware.
I honestly have loved this place before and been multiple times, but tonight, my views changed. I got kicked out because I was too feminine to be in the bar according to the bouncer. I was appalled because I wasnt the same as them. It was just me and how I acted. I went to the restroom and THREE bouncers were waiting for me because of this and did not allow me to tell my friends before they took me out. This type of discrimination is absolutely hateful and should not be tolerated.
I went on a Sunday night, and it was packed full. I think I waited in line for about 30 minutes to get in, but it was well worth it. The bartenders were serving up drinks quickly to a full bar, and the DJ was putting out jams of all kinds so there were pleasers for every type. I stayed until closing time and had a blast dancing and singing along with the rest of the crowd :)
The venue - so cool, massive and entertaining. The vibe - high-energy and rowdy (in a good way). But the best part? Eric, the bartender! He’s so funny and kept the drinks flowing. He made our entire friend group feel welcome while we had the best night!
Worst experience ever. Bri the bartender on the roof was so raciest and disrespectful. We came in to have drinks for my birthday. My husband proceeded to try to order And she was beyond disrespectful and said she is to busy to help us. We than proceeded to downstairs where the bartender over looked him and would only help others around us. She finally waited on us with the worst attitude. We discussed our feelings with the manager but it was a waste of time. Don’t recommend coming here there are better bars around and are not rude disrespectful and racist
Don’t expect to get served here. We went on a Sunday and no one was there and the girl servers were just flirting with the security guards the entire time and we ended up getting up and leaving after 15 min of no service. Was the same situation last time I was there but wanted to give it a second chance. Def disappointing considering there was no one there.
We tried the cauliflower wings and they were real tasty. My burger was great avs the fries were cooked in fresh/clean oil which I could tell since I used to run fry station at a restaurant I worked at in college. I will eat here again. It was lunchtime and had a nice atmosphere. Everyone I was with enjoyed their meal and drinks also.
Great venue, stellar atmosphere, excellent food! Our service was a bit slow and seems like we were forgotten about a few times with drinks. It wasnt too busy and others were getting drinks so maybe our server was just having an off day. Prices are as expected for a downtown restaurant with the name of a celebrity on it.
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Denver ,the food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Gina was great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone.
Sherry, Abby, and Ash were some of the friendliest bartenders I’ve had in a very long time. So personable, professional, and sweet! They made my friends birthday so special and made us feel so welcome! We will definitely be back!
It’s another typical downtown bar/club. Nothing special. It’s like they are trying to be a classy fun music blasting bar but succumbed to pressure and now more club denver hipster rap vibes. They need to bring back the dress code. No hats. No sweats. No thugs. The hype was not real. Dierks would be disappointed if he walked in their for sure
I’ve been there twice and the men I was with have gotten turned away for truly the most unreasonable reasons. One being, wearing sandals… Colorado is known for being the most outdoorsy state. I understand a dress code for safety reasons. I do not know a single moment when someone in sandals caused a scene. Maybe we read the room (or city and state) and understand who they are?
I had gone to the Whiskey Row in Arizona and was so excited to visit the Denver location. We came here for a girls weekend, 5 of us, and l loveddd it here. The vibes were right all night, the aesthetic was awesome. Our bartender Alex was our SAVIOR She has a full sleeve of tattoos, cant miss her! We didnt wait too long for any drink and she was so sweet!
Bottomless mimosas and best options for brunch! Chicken and waffles are bombdotcom. We also had the best bartender. Smash! Super sweet, attentive and made sure our mimosas never went empty! Love this location better than the Nashville location!!
Worst customer service than any other place in Denver. Got a table and gratuity was already included. The hostess/server threatened to have security kick us out if we didn’t give her more tips.
Had some friends from out of town and brought them here to watch the avs game. The atmosphere was super fun and high energy. We got a table and Erin was our bottle server and she was amazing. She was very helpful and really sweet.
Loud and trendy sports bar with cheap well drinks, however if you order anything other than well they charge you 3 times as much. The marketing for this place is confusing because it definitely does not give country whiskey vibes. They have a stage but only have DJ’s because they said they don’t make enough money to justify having a live band. Two of the bartenders wore matching thong leotards (no pants) which if that was their choice is fine but I don’t personally like if they make them wear that outfit. We went on a Thursday night when there was football on, they had tons of tvs and the sound system was very loud (great for watching sports but not so much if you want to talk).
Since opening night I’ve been here about 7 times. I’ve always had great time. This past Saturday 3/12 was terrible. I had a reservation I made over a month ago, when I got to the door they told me they didn’t have one for me. I went to pull it up on open table and to my surprise my reservation was just gone. After I tried explaining that they were super rude and told us we had to get in line. Come to find out all reservation had just been canceled for that day because they “over booked” 🤔. We let it go and get in line and proceed to head inside (we had friends we were meeting inside). We finally get in and order drinks from the downstairs bar and I literally got yelled out when I asked the bartender for my card back. It’s normally good vibes with good music. I will give it one more chance and hopefully I’m not treated so badly 😥
I was excited about this spot and being able to go listen to live music. The speakers are so load during the day that you can’t talk to each other and your ears hurt. Odd because when the DJ came on it wasn’t as loud. Food wasn’t horrible but the cheesesteak was. I recommend getting a table upstairs if you want to save your ears and be able to socialize with your party.
First time in Whiskey Row and YOU have to go! Ask for Gina, she will give you the greatest service in a fun packed environment. Her high level of service is the reason we kept coming back during our weekend trip.
One of the stickest grosses bars Ive ever been in. We did a table on a Friday spending $1800+ and the bottles bought were all sticky to the touch, the cups at the table didnt seem to be washed. The champagne glasses had lip marks on them, and the table seemed to have not been wiped down. Our reservation was at 9pm and after being told by the front door to get in line, we waited an hour before finally getting to the front of the line and getting inside for our reservation. The service was incredible as far as our table attendant is conserned. But the rest of the service was lackluster. We were excited to have this bar come to Denver since wed experienced the Nashville table service before. This was definitely not worth the money. When you pay for VIP youd expect a level of cleanliness and VIP experience.
I went here for my birthday and had the best experience! all the bartenders were so fun and nice! They checked on us often and made great conversation! christian was super sweet too:)
This is the place to go out in Denver! The bartenders are amazing and they will make you the best cocktails all night long while you do nothing but party and relax. This is where to be if youre feelin that adrenaline rush where you gotta be in a lively atmosphere with attentive service and great drinks.
We had a great experience at Dirks. The food was good, came out hot and timely. Our waitress was named Gina. Very pleasant and attentive to our needs. Fantastic!! Will recommend her and your establishment to our friends!!!
If I could give zero stars I would. Was excited to check this place out! For starters it’s called Whiskey Row, and only had three of the cheapest whiskeys known to man at the bar. A crown and sprite was 23.00 and was basically sprite. 45min in line for a drink, shoving and complete mayhem to get a drink. The bar across the street is much better with a great beer rail for people watching below. Not a “country” bar by any stretch. This place completely misses the mark, stick to the Rose for a good experience. Zero positive to say about this place!
Hate leaving reviews, but this place is ran like a hotdog stand. We thought that we could resolve our issues by emailing them and we actually had them email us back with the promise that someone would give us a call to resolve the issues that occurred. Here we are two weeks later and not a phone call. What a joke take your money elsewhere. I hope the $500 your waitress pocketed was worth losing a good customer who has spent nearly $6000 there on three visits since you’ve opened. This place clearly doesn’t care about its patrons and by the looks of all the bad reviews it’s not going to last long. Pretty unfortunate because I was really excited about this location opening in Denver . We’ve been to all the other locations and really enjoyed the one in Tennessee. Good luck whiskey row you’ll need it!
Honestly pleasantly surprised here. Happy hour was well worth it. Came in before the Rockies game and had a great time with family. Sliders, spicy marg and jimbo drink all delicious for the price. Red was also an amazing server which is half the experience for sure.
Don’t fall for their bottle service scam. They have it all over social media, where you enter your information. The deai win a comp bottle and 50% of another bottle.First I felt like I was on cloud 9, I just got a promotion, the job I have been working so hard for, & that same day I get a “text” saying I won.I go, all jolly, invite 10 friends. We’re celebrating popped the com champagne I bought a casamigos bottle (assuming it was 50% off)Because of my state, I signed the reciept, and even gave the waitress a cash tip. (Mind you tip was included already)… that I remember, I just handed her cash as if she did such a great job STEALING.Next day, i sober up, & I find out I was charged $746.75.For a bottle that was supposed to be 50%I was super scammed and taken advantaged off.Unethical way to run a business.Never going again.Take your business to Broadway.
Nice bar great visual experience with big screens. Bit quiet this weekend but worth the visit.
Place looks nice and service was great. But way too loud. If you want to club to country music any day of the week this is your place. And by that I mean it is loud! I have now changed my review from 2 to 5 because management did hear us and changed the volume level and made it comfortable to be here. Thank you.
Had a great time here with my friends. The staff is super nice and friendly, especially one of the bouncers Tommy. He made the experience feel very safe, especially for a group of girls. He is the best!
First of all the the customer service is phenomenal the whole crew is awesome at whiskey row. a young man named jace took care of me and was kind and his attention to detail was amazing. the food was great and I’ll definitely be coming back with the buddies! ask for jace if you can!
If I could give a zero, I definitely would! This place was awful! They have the line extremely long for no reason, waited over an hour in line and there is barely anyone inside. It’s like they want it to look busier than what it actually is. I went to the bar to order drinks and the bartender acknowledged me then proceeded to ignore me and help the GUY next to me. There were several fights during the 45 minutes of me being there and a few of the security pushed me and made me spill my drink. Would not recommend, complete waste of money and time! I definitely will not be returning
Had a good time until I was asked to leave by security. I calmly asked why I had to leave and was told I looked too drunk because I was leaning on a wall.Again calmly explaining I was waiting for a friend who was waiting in line to get in. I apologized for leaning and explained I was trying to stay out of the way since I was right by the entrance and was no more intoxicated than anyone else drinking in the bar. Needless to say the security guard hardly took anytime to hear me out and said, if I gave him a problem he was going to give me one. Very unprofessional and unpleasant.*Note: there were two uniformed officers there that night who showed no issue with my conduct.
Tommy is the best bouncer at Whiskey! He always makes me and my friends feels very safe and handles any issues we have with other guests in a very professional manner. Most nights before we go into whiskey row, we’ll ask the door security if Tommy is working because we always feel better knowing he’s there!
The bouncer made me take a bunch of stuff off my keys which doesnt happen at any other nearby spots, and then told me to get lost when I asked for them back after leaving. I asked someone else who said they never got them from that guy and he probably still has them. Inside vibe is cool but the music was odd and the crowd wasnt very friendly
I’m not the type to write reviews, but I really wouldn’t recommend this place to women. The men that frequent here are extremely disrespectful and grabby. Normally I wouldn’t blame that on the establishment, but my friend who had been groped brought it up to security and essentially told her not his problem. Plus there was no country music on Fridays, which was a let down.
Ashley was our server and she did a great job serving us! In regards to the bar itself, the servers dress very scandalous and is more of a club with a live dj. We went on Sunday to watch the NFC Divisional playoff and we could barely find a spot to watch the game. Music was so loud you could barely hear the person talking next to you. The table we sat at was broken and so was the urinal I used. Thought it would be a better experience seeing that it is brand new.
This place was recommended to me by someone who had been to the one in Nashville and really liked it. We came in and sat down at the only open table. We planned on eating food, however we were informed we would have to leave the table in 30 minutes so they can use it for bottle service. So we drank one beer and left. This is not the kind of place I would go to for a bottle service and I highly doubt they made more money by loosing our business for a potential bottle service. It seems like this location is trying to be something it is not. After seeing all these bad reviews and they havent even been open very long, I believe this place wont last long unless they make some serious changes.
Selena was the best server I’ve ever had here! She was so friendly, personable, & on top of our orders! Definitely recommend & request her if you can!
The way this place is so money hungry & couldn’t care less about its patrons…The line was shorter than usual. Took about 15 to get to the front. Once at the front, we stood for an hour & a half. All the while there was an upward of 50-100 people let in right before us - purely off of under-the-table tips.Furthermore, the bottle service line was finally empty, but they clearly were hurting for money! So, they went to the back of the line & asked if anyone behind us wanted bottle service. Alas, another 50-100 people that got in right before us.An hour & a half in the blazing sun at 1pm on a Thursday. So ridiculous. Let the people who were waiting into the bar - before someone passes out of heat stroke. Who cares if they don’t have $100 to spare? They will buy drinks anyway. You will make money off them anyway.Be a good person & let the people who were patiently waiting in the sun into the bar!Wouldn’t have come if I had known. Idk what these elitist capitalist money hungry vibes are. So uncool & disappointing.
Cute Selena was such a great waitress for our huge group. Everyone got what they needed and she did it all with a smile. This bar has a great vibe and the chicken and waffles was delicious.
Our Bartender Courtney was the best! She is so personable and attentive, not to mention her smile brightens a room! We will definitely be back to see Courtney!
