Great food don’t know why I hadn’t been before. Bit of confusion with the reservations as there was a special event and we were told it was closed for private event but in the end it wasn’t. I got Brussels sprouts (extra crispy-yum). Our waiter was exceptional. Husband got center cut top sirloin and MASSIVE baked potato!! Enjoyed every bit of our meal.
We arrived on time but were asked to stand in the lounge for 15-20 minutes until they were ready for us. All but three tables were available. After that, service was top notch. The short rib was meaty but dry and the sunchoke was inedible, but otherwise the food was well prepared and presented. Love the view and the patio. Hard as hell to find the elevator, and Google had bad info too.
Love this place. Great bartender, he’s Asian made best drinks. Prices are reasonable. We came here every time we came to Vegas. The view is incredible, which is a bonus.
We went here to celebrate a birthday with a party of 4. Our server was fantastic and attentive. The warm bread served before our meal was delicious and satisfying and our main meals were some of the best food weve had! The only thing I could say is the roasted chicken was a bit on the dry side but still amazing. Everyone else had steak and said they were in the top 2 steaks theyve EVER had.The vibe in here is so unique and inviting and I would highly recommend visiting here if youre staying in Vegas. I cant believe I didnt know this place existed. Absolute gem.
We had dinner before our concert at The Fountain. We have eaten at many Vegas restaurants through the years and this one is the best yet. Our server David was excellent. Highly recommend and will return.
I had to laugh about someone referring to this as a speakeasy. The entrance is in the middle of the Mandalay lobby, you couldn’t miss it if you tried.Anyway, we had a great time. Nice view from the deck and great music/dancing for the over 30 crowd.
Located on the rooftop of the Mandalay Bay casino, where there is a nice view of the strip from the terrace. The atmosphere is quite nice and elegant, till the music and DJ sets begins - then its quite chaotic and less fancy. The food is ok, the appetizers surely more flavorful and well-done than the main courses. The pork belly, crab cakes and the beef tartare were tasty and well seasoned. The risotto with the jackfruit was a bit overcooked, it tasted on the sweet side with a sour hint. The peppered crust of the halibut had way too much pepper and the tomatoes and spinach side was really insipid. The service was ok, our waiter was kind. The cocktail wasnt good at all, an old fashion that doesnt have nothing to do with a real one. I was a bit perplexed: we were celebrating our anniversary, I saw two other tables served with a small dessert with a candle... And we didnt receive anything - well, it doesnt change my review though.
The Foundation Room lives up to the Vegas hype with gorgeous decor and killer views of the Strip. Its especially quiet and chill on weeknights, but the DJ on the night of Tuesday, June 18th was a total buzzkill. My wifes birthday request for a song went unanswered with just an annoyed grunt, and with barely anyone there, the vibe felt flat. Having a more interactive DJ on weeknights would really make the whole experience top-notch.P.S: He didnt even honor the request at 12:00 am.TLDR: Great place, chill vibes, moody & annoyed DJ
Came to eat with a party of 7. Everything was fantastic and it was definitely the best dining experience we had while in vegas. The view and amazing food was a big part of this, but the excellent service provided by Candice really put this place over the top. Will definitely be back on future trips.
I loved every part of this spot but the DJ played EDM the entire night until it was about to close in 30min. 😒 That’s when he played nothing but hip hop. Never again will I pay for bottle service and the music trash most of the night
One the best views in Vegas can be found here, with a beautiful view of the entire strip from the balcony area. The service was pretty good - we had a reservation but they weren’t ready for us until about 30 minutes after, so we just had a drink at the bar. Still, the food was great and can’t beat the view.
I made a reservation for cocktails and refreshments for after our wedding. I put the reservation under mine and my husbands name. I provided credit card info and our room number for the reservation. I also confirmed the reservation via email and text.So disappointed in this establishment. Not only did they not provide the “dress code rules” (apparently our booker was supposed to provide a list of “rules”) resulting in one of my guests being sent away, but they let me in and then wouldn’t let in my groom or other members in my party. After I was up (sitting alone in a wedding dress do 30 minutes like a weirdo) they told my husband and wedding party they didn’t have the reservation, couldn’t find either of our names and wouldn’t let them in.Also the server for our VIP table apparently didn’t have our card on file, so I had to provide an ID and credit card again to even sit down.I’ve visited the foundation room in Cleveland and always had an amazing experience, and for Las Vegas, and a VIP for a wedding I expected at the least the same if not better. Instead we got absolutely terrible service, the manager offered us nothing other than to leave or try to “start fresh” with them and the person I booked with (Maurice) never responded to my messages asking how this happened.Luckily we got in at the skyfall lounge in the Dellalo. That place was top notch and absolutely gorgeous.
First time dinning at the foundation room!! Our first experience was not pleasant, our server was rude and condescending, he checked on us twice. He never introduced himself by name or let alone let us know he was our server.Food was ok, view was nice. Will never be going there again.
This place was very nice a little dark for us older people, but the food was absolutely delicious. I love that we can go out on the balcony and look at the lights of all of the city, and the music was absolutely fantastic..
The experience I received from the entry personnel at this establishment is the most disrespectful, concerning and highly unnecessary in any manner in any establishment.March 26, 7pm I arrived to a private event of which my company was holding for those within our company who hold achievements which allow you to partake in special perks. Our company reserved the Foundation room as the location for this group as a reflection of our accomplishments.Upon my arrival I walked in alone as it was a private event completely from 6-8pm. The three men asked me to come back outside the ropes and I did as requested. I showed my credentials and invitation to the private event when one of the men replied “that is over” and I responded No sir it’s until 8pm. They confirmed my name on the list and paired my credentials. The man asked me for a photo ID establish I was of age. I expressed I was not told to bring the ID however if it’s a private party and my name is in the manifest, I simply didn’t need to drink the beverages they are covered by the company. He then told me I was not able to go in the venu without an ID. Now - given I’ve provided credentials, I’m am nearly 50 years old this became an absolute embarrassing and unnecessary abandonment of any service of any kind of the customer and guest of the company who bought the space for the private party. Also, someone could have retrieved an executive at any point to confirm yes I am 27 years above the legal age.I asked for names and the men declined. I then took photos to document to Mandalay the service provided by their tenant. At no time would I recommend this establishment in any regard. This is a complete display of three bully’s who showcase how they greet patrons. My entire experience of my company accomplishments were diminished. This should never happen. Here are the men who bullied me and when I tried to take photos attempted to hide by shining their light so I could not photograph who delivered this horrific experience on my evening to celebrate all the achievements of 2023.
Quite a dissapointment. The best thing about our visit was the Apple caramel bread pudding for a dessert. The service wasnt the best and staff treated us with disrespect and were overall rude.Would not go here again, Although the view from the balcony is cool. There are better options for drinks and even views.
We originally booked a reservation at The Foundation Room in Las Vegas for a romantic evening to celebrate our anniversary. Somehow the reservation was canceled without any notice, seemingly due to some sort of electronic/systems glitch. We arrived at the restaurant and was told that a private event was in progress and we were absolutely livid and emotionally disappointed. But behold, The Foundation Room management contacted us to rebook our reservation and comp’d our entire experience and provided a life changing 5 star service level to us to completely vindicate the past and make us whole in way that moved our emotions in a beautiful way! We are now in debt to The Foundation Room moving forward and will book our reservations here moving forward and beyond! We highly recommend!!!!!
Terrible service! most uncomfortable dining experience ever ! From the very minute we arrived to leaving… awful and rude ! Have been to Vegas many times, so many great places and great people, this was not one of them. The worst experience ever in Vegas. One word …. Sleazy.
Decent spot if you manage to get service. Reso for 8pm, relatively empty restaurant didn’t get my table till 8:30pm, sat for 30min before anyone came to my table. You want 30% tips? Do better.
Great views. Cool vibe. Hard to find, even casino staff gave us wrong directions .staff
Phenomenal food, even better service. Joey our server was incredibly attention, kind and made our evening. Thank you to the wonderful staff!
I mean, its been a while since I went out and had a drink with other young professionals (Ive been caged in a hole in my house, watching twisted murder shows on discovery plus and hulu). So when VIP Social Club hosted an event here, I decided to drag myself out of the house, even though it was already dark out, and come and be social.I didnt regret it! The bar is decorated with a bunch of buddha statues and have that old school hookah bar vibe. Unfortunately there are no windows aside from some sweaty ones way high over the bar where you cant see anything out of. But you can get a view of the beautiful strip from their balcony. Theres seating up there too but it looks to be reserved.Bartenders were friendly and the shots looked decent. The drinks I tried were also fine. I didnt order anything fancy so its hard to screw up. I say this is a cute place to get a drink or go on a date. It may be good to check first to make sure theres not an event b/c the day I went there were multiple events and the place was packed.
First time at the Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay. The view is spectacular, the bar is well stocked and the music was good. The only open space for customers not on the reservation list was packed. The only knock would be the lack of space available for us regular patrons who didnt one side of the club. Would I come back? Yes, but only if management keeps an eye on crowd size and available space to enjoy the club.
Easy to get to, near the check in area of the hotel. We needed to adjust our reservation and the host was very accommodating. Enjoyed a wait on the outdoor patio with great views of the weird sphere. Portion sizes are generous which led us to accidentally ordering too much food. Would go back again.
I wanted to love this place but it did fall short.Views were amazing and I love that you get to go outside while you wait for your food.Food and waiter service is where this place fell short.I did the steak with mash potato’s and asparagus. Steak was amazing, perfectly seasoned and cooked correctly. Mash was way under seasoned, I don’t even know if they added any salt. Asparagus was under cooked and chewy at ends.Waiter comes and asks how it is and I tell him I need salt to fix the potato’s because they are under seasoned, after that it was down hill. I got my salt and then I never saw the waiter again. When you are paying $16 a side I expect it to be edible. We had to ask someone else for the bill 🤷🏻♀️All in all won’t be going back.
Food - 5 stars - everything was delicious. Perfectly cooked steak (medium rare was just right - not overcooked like a lot of steakhouses)Atmosphere - 5 stars - Wow! View was amazing! Decor was great as well.Service - 5 stars - amazing server - very helpful and friendlyPrices - 4 stars - its Vegas...
This is a beautiful lounge and restaurant. We started in the lounge for a drink before our reservation. The lounge was fun and the bartender made me a drink not on the menu (because Im picky and indecisive). It was delicious! The views from this place are amazing and you can see the whole strip. The restaurant is an intimate space with lovely decor and also had an outdoor space to enjoy the view. We ordered the wedge salad, crab cakes, and wagyu steak along with the Hasselback potatoes. The food was good, not great. The steak was a large, unexpected cut that wasnt cooked to my preference. That item could be shared by two people. Definitely there for the environment. The wait staff were great! Would go back for the lounge experience!
I was so excited to come here last weekend for the first time, but it wasnt a great experience. The staff (except for the bartenders) were unfriendly and treated us like we were criminals or about to do something wrong, everywhere we went. We did not feel welcome there, but fortunately the majority of Vegas clubs do a great job making their customers feel welcome. Will not be returning to this place.
Foundation Room Ultra Lounge was very small, but had a nice roof top view of the strip. The music selection was ok. The dancers uniforms were really cute with sun burst headbands. The drinks werent fantastic. I think some of the soda/juice taps needed to be changed out and the bartenders didnt notice. It was nice to see the view, but I have no strong desire to go back.
This place is not only beautiful but the staff is amazing as well. From the woman at the front, to security, and the staff leading all the way up to the rooftop. They even gave me a drink ticket for a drink or a glass of champagne. The rooftop was BEAUTIFUL!! Hands down one of the best views in the city. Benny Pitts is an awesome host! He was hospitable, informative, and funny! I will definitely be stopping by the next time I’m in Vegas… and looking for Benny to recreate that ambiance!
The view from this place is worth the pricey drinks. A must do at least once but it’s mostly for the view. All the seats are roped off unless you pay extra for them. DJ was okay and the decor is pretty cool-reminiscent of a vampires lair inside. Wouldn’t go for the drinks or the party but very much recommend for a one time experience and to see the view which is stunning. Also an awesome view of all the planes taking off and landing at the airport.
If you want a place to celebrate, go to the Foundation room. Get the bottle service, it increases the experience even more. I felt like I was a celebrity with how much the whole staff worked together to make you feel like the night was all about you and your group. The music will keep you moving all night. Make sure to step out on the patio and catch a view of the city.
Venue and food were awesome. Ho,wever, service was not. It took a long time to get food served. Once we did, one of our group members did not and it took even longer for her to finally get it. They did make up for it right away by not charging for her meal, which we did not ask for it was their decision, and server brought us complimentary dessert which was great on his part but this should not happen for the price we paid. I would still give them another chance and go back someday again. The views and food are worth it.
It was just okay. I really wish we had chosen not to eat here and just got drinks instead. One of our dishes was not correctly prepared, neither plate was particularly flavorful, and the bread was not fresh. Overall there was nothing special about the menu items, I just would have expected a more creative and competitive restaurant, especially at this resort and for this price point. I meant to take a photo of the menu because the prices are not posted online (which I have found to be incredibly pretentious. Especially because again, it. is. nothing. special.) but for 2 plates (steak and sea bass) and 2 cocktails plus a tip, it was around $220The views are nice, which is why we decided to eat here, but I truly cannot recommend this to anyone wanting a dinner reservation here.
Tonight we enjoyed dinner in the dining room. Everything we ordered from the charcuterie to the filet was perfect prepared and presented with care. Between courses, we took our wine out to the patio to enjoy the view and more intimate environment than the lounge. It was a nice departure from the lounge environment. We will definitely be back and will ask for David. His experience with wine and attention to detail was evident.
My wife and I are not difficult to please, I do not like giving negative reviews however the New Years package that we spent $500 dollars on got us 1 drink each, and a possibly illegally over crowded shoulder to shoulder experience that was extremely unpleasant. Highly recommend to avoid them at New Years
The Foundation Room is such a cool place. The lounge can have several different vibes depending on the time of night you are there. From laid back cool to a pumping nite club. I was introduced to it by a co-worker back in April 2023 while in town for a trade show. This time I was in town for U2. I had to go back. The view of the strip on the outdoor balcony is absolutely amazing. Worth a visit just for the view. Two of the BEST bartenders in Vegas with Suzana and Ashley. They both make a killer Good Karma Margarita. Suzana’s is slightly better…😳😜. Both work their butts off and are great to chat with. Each time I visit Vegas I shall return.
Like so many casino bars there is very little room for people because of all the reserved seating which I think is so stupid but anyways we still liked this place. The view outside was awesome we all really enjoyed drinks and standing out there and talking. The bar is also really cool and I liked all the interesting things to look at. The drinks were good too. Overall Id come back here again.
Gorgeous view ! We were so amazed by this stunning view of the strip ! This rooftop bar is perfectly located to have an awesome view of the whole strip and this just breathtaking ! There is an outside terrace when you can see the view but it’s a bit narrow so not a lot of people can fit there. The inside of bar is really nice as well and the atmosphere feels almost like prohibition type bar. We were so happy to find this gem and we’ll certainly come back !
Epic Night! From the moment we arrived at the check in area we were treated like VIPs. We did in fact pay for VIP service but the team of people that took care of us and looked after us were exceptional. Evan contacted me shortly after my inquiry and made the process of reserving our area seamlessly easy. He answered all of my questions and made me feel comfortable with choosing Foundation Room over some other options we were considering. Jad escorted us up the elevator to our private table service area. A total gentleman and very kind young man. We were introduced to Moe who was the perfect person in the perfect position. We looked after our area maintaining our security and helped us find different areas of the club like the bathroom and provided us with access to DJ EarWax who was playing all of our favorite music. Lastly Jenny. She was amazing! I have never had a server work as hard as she did and never ever once seem annoyed or bothered. She was on point with making drinks for us and accommodated every request made. Best of luck to these 5 individuals who made my wifes 50th birthday celebration a night to remember!
Cocktails are very much meh, no proper bartenders working there compared to some other locations. The rule the nicer the location, the worse the food and drinks and service certainly holds true here. Still, nice to stop by for a drink and enjoy the view.
Came on a Wednesday night before they started charging covers. I wasnt a fan of the antique look which gave me the creeps. The DJ was okay. He played some good throwback & pop music but transitioned too quickly or the flow wasnt right. It looked like there were a bunch of people coming from a conference or business related event since they were carrying backpacks, had lanyards on, or just looked very out of place. The main selling point of Foundation Room was the view from the outdoor patio which is where the majority of the people were.Lemon Drop & AMF ($46): The drinks were pretty good & strong but the quality wasnt there. The bartenders dont seem to be too careful when handling the drinks since they got sugar all over the Lemon Drop. Another lady we met that night also got sticky hands from the sugar on her drink.
Astonishing view as well as a very impressive atmosphere! Even the tunnel to get there was quite awe inspiring even with security guards along the way! So sorry I didnt get pics! The bartender was very accomodating and the oysters were magnificent!
Great venue, Great atmosphere, love decor. the patio view alone is worth it. Had drinks, wanted to eat but restaurant closed on Saturday?? Staff was not engaged and had to call them over each time we needed something. Tried to get world series on TV but one of the staff wanted to watch a football game from his hometown. Beautiful place it is a must see
The views from the Foundation Room, the rooftop bar at the Mandalay Bay were amazing. Right before we got here, we enjoyed a few drinks at the Hazel (on the ground floor of Mandalay Bay) which set the mood for the evening. We got here around 9.3-pm and unfortunately their kitchen was closed. I wish they were open late considering it was a weekend night. Good music, nice ambiance and great crowd.
Great ambiance, good vibes, amazing scenery. 4 stars because there’s no seating unless you’re paying hundreds for a bottle. Bartenders were a little not so friendly, but the guys at the door and walking around were super friendly and cool to chat with. Danny was awesome.
Both the bar and the restaurant are great. The views are absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious and the server, David, was very quick to fix a small error. The prices are within expectation for the location and ambience. We spent approximately 85 a person and each had one drink. Will definitely visit again.
Went there for the pre turn up before Queen B’s concert at the Allegiant, 8/26. The African American male staffer/ concierge at the entrance at the initial floor before you get on the elevator, one in particular was absolute trash. Don’t know his name but he had on a grey suit late 30’s-mid 40’s. First of all I get invited to places to do reviews (see We Be Eaten on TT and IG), but I digress, this was a pre bday occasion. This dry questionable demeanor was off putting. No hello, but a “ Do you have reservations “ like we just said let’s just walk up and just see. He didn’t give his female co worker a moment to ask our names. His attitude gave “ you’re in the wrong place.” He treated us like we were not welcomed. Security was very pleasant and personable, white gentleman with a mohawk. He made mention of my assistants crocs. The food the bone in steak medium well, lamb, asparagus, mac n cheese a solid 4 out of 5. Staff inside from the waitress to the server 4.5 out of 5. Seating was great 5 out of 5. Probably won’t go back, one apple spoiled the bag and first impressions matter, and his, grey suit guy awful. You would’ve thought he owned the place.
Terrible service. Our party of 11 made a reservation a month prior to eating here on the recommendation of the hotel. Our reservation was not ready for 2 hours and here are the numerous excuses we were given #1. We are just putting the finishing touches on your table it will be ready shortly #2. Funny story we overbook every Friday and Saturday night, usually it works out, but sometimes we get into a pickle like this! #3. Why would you show up on time most people arrive an hour late (What?!?) #4. A member is using the private room and we cannot ask them to leave. I believe #4 was the truth, but the fact we were not told this from the get go, and offered a solution was shockingly bad customer service. In a city that has so many wonderful choices with amazing customer service do not waste your time and money here. The view, although great, is truly not worth the hassle.
We went on Thursday evening. We had great service and the food was good! The scallops were cooked perfectly! The view and balcony make this place 5 stars. Gorgeous place to grab a cocktail with a view. Night club wasnt really going yet so cant speak on that piece but restaurant was a good experience!
Went up to the Foundation room on a whim while staying at Mandalay Bay. People were packed in like sardines. Really no room for dancing. Took almost 30 minutes to get to the bar. The view outside on the patio was good but even out there people were packed in tight. Found an almost empty part of the patio through a door to the side, but then they closed that area 10 minutes later. Once and done sort of place.
Booked this place to celebrate our friends 60th bday. As we were seated at our table the whole restaurant smelt like very sour fish. The server didn’t even introduce his name to us. We ordered 1 cocktail and decided to eat else where. When we told the server we were just having one drink he literally huffed and proceeded to check his cellphone at our table. Then he walked off without a word.I have been in the service industry for 8+ years and was absolutely appalled at how horrible our service was.Do not recommend and will never be back.Check out Kumi downstairs. The staff were more than lovely and it was our favorite meal and experience of the whole trip in Vegas.
Went on 8/18/21 with my husband after we were approached by a promoter in Mandalay Bay, who said wed get free cover and Id get a couple free drink tickets, as it was a Wednesday night.I havent been to a club or lounge since I was in my early 20s, despite being a local. My husband bought a $15 margarita on the rocks and I had my 2 free vodka or champagne tickets. The music was Top 40 Hip Hop from 2005-2021. Almost everyone there was 30+, although there were many 45+ looking guys there too.Drinks were fine and the balcony was CROWDED. Everyone wants a photo because it has the best views of the Strip.I liked the decor and a bouncer even let me and my husband go check out some private rooms that hadnt been reserved. It was so pretty.Didnt eat at the restaurant, but this was a fun, chill way to spend a few hours. Would recommend if youre in your 30s.
Came on a Saturday night to check out this spot. Line was quick to get in but the place was hard to find. Guys were $10 if you were in the guest list, $20 without guest list, ladies were free.I joined the free guest list thru an app Discotech and got 2 free drinks for ladies before midnight. The DJ was ok, repeated some songs but there was some good hip hop to dance to. The dance floor is extremely small and more of a walk thru as you’re headed to the balcony. This is a table heavy location like most Vegas clubs but the people at the tables looked like they were having less fun than the other patrons. They did have cool bottle girls come out with sparklers and all that jazz. Bar service moved quick. Drinks $20+. Outside is small and most people were on top of each other trying to get a view of the outdoors but that dies down after they first opened and you can easily be inside or out as it gets later in the evening. It’s a cool spot but def not at the top of my list as a local. It’s good for the views but if you turned on the lights you’d see the decor is tacky and it looks outdated inside the club.
Phenomenal!Exceptional service! I brought my teenage daughter and my ten year old to dinner and the staff was very accommodating. The view was great. My dry aged steak was done perfectly. My kids had what they described as one of the best burgers ever.
If youre looking for a great view, this is the place to go and snap pictures, but if you want great food and good service this IS NOT the spot. The place was dead, our server was pushy and rude, never came to check on us after we got our food. The steak was over cooked, potatoes were dry. Youd think with prices like that youd have an entire experience but this place lacked everywhere. Would not recommend.
Only giving it 3 stars cause of the seating limitations. Loved the ambience and service, but wish there was some seating to enjoy the venue.
These bartenders have the audacity to force you to leave a tip! Leaving a tip should be a choice, not an obligation. And to make matters worse, the staff here is incredibly racist and downright rude.
Gorgeous😍, great vibe, good music 🎶 and fun crowd! Staff was nice. Ladies got in free with two free drink tix on Thursday night (not sure the policy on other nights). The music was SUPER loud but the bartender gave us free ear plugs which was perfect. Rooftop view outside is amazing. So fun, would totally go back!
Best view and excellent fun! Just ask anyone who has attended this location, and they will tell you basically the same thing. Because it is a rather common theme around here. This place is just fun! Like FUN! This has to do with several factors, such as the private dining room and the lovely bar that is inside as well. They are serving up specialty cocktails like you wouldnt believe. In fact, I actually gave them an idea for a cocktail called The Worksheet. It has so many fascinating aspects to it, and therefore they were impressed with the style and attitude of this drink. Look for it at your local neighborhood bar. Theres a decent chance they are serving it as their special at least one night per week, as well as during happy hour. The view from this place is truly something that you can behold when you are there on site. I confess that the pictures are really nice, but not as good as the real thing of just being there and beholding it in real time. The door man is named Daniel when he is working. Hes very nice. Youll love his beard.
This is a fairly exclusive bar and lounge to check out at the top of Mandalay Bay. I was fortunate to visit when it wasn’t a very busy night. The atmosphere is incredible. This is a good reflection of what a good night life bar is in Las Vegas. The views from the rooftop across the strip are stunning. If anything, it is worth the visit. They do offer dining and bottle service. It’s worth your time to at least get to the top of the building to see the view.
Great Ambience. One of a kind restaurant in the US. The view is one of the best and the most underrated in the whole city of Las Vegas. It was absolutely breathtaking. The Indian art and sculptures of Hindu Gods were a great touch. The service is absolutely amazing. Will definitely visit again in the summer.
They are using depictions of Hindu gods for decoration in a night club!!! this is disrespectful. In Hinduism, as in many other religions, deities and religious figures hold deep spiritual significance and are revered by followers. Using these figures inappropriately in contexts like clubs, where the focus is often on entertainment, can be seen as a lack of respect for the religion and its adherents.
Probably the best view on the strip. The cocktails were nothing special; they werent bad, but dont go here if you are looking for craft cocktails. They do offer bottle service if that is something you are looking for.The Foundation Room is on the top Floor of Mandalay Bay with a view looking down the Las Vegas Strip. One of the kiosks in Mandalay Bay was offering free drink coupons for the ladies. The views were so spectacular, weve added this to our rotation of late night bars.
The drinks were terrible and super expensive (paid over $30 for an Old Fashioned made with whiskey and soda water from the dispenser and nothing else). If you wish to sit down, you have to pay. The surroundings are the only reason why I am giving it two stars instead of one. I would rather go to the Prohibition Bar at the same hotel or anywhere else, really. Do not recommend!
Foundation room never really disappoints! We love going here to habe drinks at the bar before we eat dinner. Our bartender Meghan was amazing and I will definitely ask for her next time we return. The ambiance of the room is amazing and is always a fun atmosphere to be in. We go here every time we come to Vegas!
Such a wonderful night we had here! I will never forget it. Thank you to our server who treated us amazing! You want a romantic night out with amazing views, try the Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay! When placing reservations online, ensure to request the view if you want that. I highly recommend it.
Went on a Saturday. Got a ticket to go in, so entered for free. Only stayed 1hr around 11pm, maybe later in the night it gets better. I liked the outside atmosphere. Inside was fine, they have some dancers as well. And vip areas outside as well.
Very ok - the view is fantastic but thats about where it ends. Service was mediocre at best, we got steak and salad - both just ok. Steak was not cooked to the right temp (overcooked). For a $250 bill, we saw our server 2 times and it took over 2 hours on a Wednesday night for food I could have gotten pretty much anywhere else for half the cost. Beautiful view but go for cocktails instead of dinner.
Cool vibe. Reservations only. If you go upstairs, they have an outside deck/overlook that has a great view of the city. 📷Korean fried chicken and bao buns from theblounge menu are a must try!
Foundation is a good lounge and nite club. It’s a little pricey, but the same price as a typical Las Vegas nite club. It’s located at the top of the Mandalay Casino hotel. You have to take a specific elevator and go through security to get there. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The balcony area of the club has an amazing view of the Las Vegas strip. I had a great evening and recommend this lounge for a night life activity.
Best food ever at the foundation room service and packable by Taylor. The cauliflower appetizer was incredible the wagyu was incredible the fish of the day catch was incredible everything absolutely incredible including the dessert a great way to celebrate both of our birthdays and have an amazing view not to mention access to the club afterwards to party the rest of the evening.
Great location, amazing views at the top of the tower, good portions for food, nightlife atmosphere. The private rooms are spacious and vintage.
The foundation room has a charm found in every speakeasy style bar in every town, except this one is a mile high with a nice view. It features lovely cocktails and excellent bar service, but the restaurant side left us wanting. An hour wait for very good food (a filet, oysters, and two other appetizers). They had forgotten about us because of a large party (of five - not sure how). We had to ask for drinks three times with three people before getting one. They comped half our check without us saying a word. Nice people, good food, good intentions. Rough experience.
Great place surprisingly not overpriced for what it is. Fun atmosphere and the overlook is worth the price of the food alone. Food was great. Staff really nice too. I went during the early evening. Night views would be unreal I imagine.
One of your amazing employees took this review from 1 star to 5 stars. We have been coming to Foundation Room on trips to Vegas once or twice a year since 2011. This last Saturday night was particularly bad. We were there for a gathering and started by getting drinks and shots. Pricey but to be expected, however the level of service does not match the price. Slow and nonchalant bartenders. If they were focused and hustling they would be making themselves and the bar about 40% more money. I was questioning if they even received their tip money. They were working like they received a straight hourly wage and didn’t care about the customers or your organization. This alone though is never enough for me to want to write a review. Our big problem was a member of your security personnel that bullied my wife while I was in the restroom. She sat down momentarily to fix her shoes and was immediately yelled at and told to get up. If it wasn’t obvious enough that she was fixing her shoe, she verbalized that she would get up as soon as she got it situated and was yelled at again and told “no time for that, you need to move now!” and repeats again about 5 seconds later as she was trying to get up. No feeling, no caring, no empathy to the point that hwr shoes were not fixed and publicly embarrassed her and made her cry and just stared her down. I found her and discussed with her. About 1” minutes later standing by the bar the same guy told us we need to move because we were in the way. We set the rest of our drinks in the bar and went to the hallway to talk before I had to use the restroom and that’s when we met Oliver or O.T. He came over and asked if everything was ok I think sending she was distressed or to make sure I wasn’t bothering her (either way, absolutely doing his job as the comfort and safety of female guests in those spaces should be paramount) We let him know we were good and taking off and he asked why leaving so soon and we shared with him what happened. He patently listed, comforted, apologized on behalf of himself and the organization. We talked about how understanding and empathy is lost on many people. We mentioned maybe we’re getting older and outgrowing this place. He handed us a couple of drink tickets and said that’s not how he wants us to remember somewhere we have so many fond memories. We mentioned how one persons energy and attitude can change a vibe and uplift others. We were in a much better mood thanks to him giving us the time off day all while keeping a watchful eye on things that were going on and directing and checkin in with others. Instead of leaving to our property we had a great time, stayed another hour, went downstairs and caught a few songs from the band and gambled till early morning at Mandalay. None of this would happen without Oliver. Promote that man to director of operations of Foundation Room. He 100% gets it… put this guy in charge and I guarantee the space will become more profitable than it already is
Loved it. Great ambiance. Great service. Best music.
Extremely cool and unique atmospheric spot at the top of Mandalay Bay. Zen interior with heavily carved paneling on the walls and ceilings. Many unique rooms with valuable 19th c furnishings overlayed at night with burlesque dancers and club music Dj. Terrific place for special parties or corporate dinners. If you choose to dine in the restaurant, the bone in ribeye steak is excellent. The service was a two but the food was a five.
“Enjoy your day but make sure you are at my place at 6pm; SURPRISE DATE NIGHT.” was the text I received last Friday.Super excited and not knowing what to expect our first of three stops was Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay. Let me just say how stunning this place is. After 2 years of living here & 7 years for my other half, we both enjoyed the delights of this stunning view & space. There was a wine event going on with live music, & the most spectacular view of the strip. What a hidden gem. Drink prices were good especially for the strip, there is a beautiful restaurant that is on the side of the same floor that also has the same spectacular views. This was the first stop so after 2 drinks off we went to the next stop.
I mainly give this a one star because they put Indian gods in a nightclub, where women are dancing in revealing clothing. It is highly disrespectful and offensive to people who are Hindu. I would like to speak to someone who can remove these statutes.
Probably my favorite bar/club on the strip. Great view of the strip and super fun atmosphere. I love standing outside and when its not too crowded, hanging on the dance floor. Always different kind of music playing, so its super fun. Ive been when its all 80s and Ive been when its all rap... Sometimes a mix of both. Love love love
Good food, larger portions than I was expecting based on other reviews. I made a reservation a month in advance but was waiting over a half hour for my table while sitting outside in Vegas July heat. This while also complying with their dress code which many others didnt. The food is at least twice as expensive as a decent sit down elsewhere but at least as good. The view is definitely nice. The staff arent terrible, but they seem to be very used to serving those who have money enough to not worry about prices and that isnt as nice if you consider this a special night out.
The view from the bar and restaurant is amazing. The service was very poor. Waited nearly 20 minutes to have our drink order taken at dinner and waiter was not very attentive. He was also very sarcastic and never checked back after our food was brought out. Lacked the upscale dinning experience we were expecting. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed and excellent atmosphere.
I celebrate my bday and was the most epic night with the VIP services my bodyguards omg! I feel like I was a celebrities.i high recommend this beautiful rooftop place to dance having a beautiful view of the Vegas.thank U BFF TiTa to take me here.
We had a great time! Got a VIP table with VIP service. Ben Gabriel was there to greet us when we arrived and his staff took great care of us the rest of the evening. We especially appreciated Javier looking out for us. Such a sweetheart! The drinks were great, the view was amazing and the music was a perfect mix. Thank you for a wonderful time!!
Unfortunately, if u dont get bottle service, u stand at the bar if u can deal with people ordering drinks in between or stand outside along wall with a great view but as gals know, standing or dancing all night ur gal needs to sit. We normally dont do bottle service and probably spend $200 on drinks a night, so some seating for non bottle customers would make sense. Especially if night is slow like the night we went. Having someone step up and remove bottle service sections to couples running up a reasonable tab is service which makes u return. We wont be back but one huge bartender, who needs recognition is PATRICK, I believe Philippine. His customer svc, amazing interaction and actually interested in his customers exceeded this place and other employees whom should take notice. Its not all about bottle service.
We were staying at Mandalay and got 2 free admissions with 2 free drinks to go here. We were just gonna go to redeem our drinks and then go to another more popular club but ended up staying all night! It was so much fun, the music was great and bartenders were surprisingly so nice! The venue is also pretty cool - not like a basic club. Go here!
The best view of the Vegas strip by far. The food is great. Dont miss out on the Bread Pudding for dessert. Im not a bread pudding lover, as a rule. But my husband is, so we decided to share an order. My husband hardly got any because I couldnt stop eating it! We just had drinks and dessert but the parties we were with had entrees and raved about them too. Atmosphere was great and so was the service and staff.
We went on a Saturday. It was crowded. I use a mobility scooter so it was hard to get in the room because 9f dancing. The bouncers helped us through a private area to get around so we could enjoy ourselves. Kudos to them for their efforts. The view is amazing. We really enjoyed our visit.
As a queer person I am so proud of my identity and how I dress. I dressed formally as the website requests but because my shoulders were exposed I had to go back and change. Then when we got up there it was so loud we couldnt hear anything. The vibe felt not inclusive, obnoxious and bordered on sleazy. It was advertised as a rooftop bar and the view was so hard to see and the window was dirty it made the view extremely anticlimactic. Would never go back , sad about that as I am staying at the hotel.
The club is pretty, the view is nice, however the blond waitress we had was terrible. We had table service...well we paid for table service. The cocktail waitress was absent most of the evening, we poured our own drinks all evening till the brunette came in to pour our drinks and she actually had personality. Talked to us engaged with us...at least one person has some customer service skills in this place. I’ve even been running timers to track when this supposed to be cocktail waitress comes to do her job, so her largest time span thus far has been over 19 minutes. Craziness! We have had table service with other venues and this is by far the worst. If I want to look at something pretty I’ll come back but for table service I will never return or suggest someone to come here.
This was a nice classy restaurant with unique décor and of course a beautiful view overlooking the strip. The price range is on the higher side but the food was up to par. This is a nice place for a romantic dinner. Our server was very good and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place to others!
Food was fantastic, waitstaff was friendly and accommodating, view was beautiful. Oysters were fresh, the mixed drinks were tasty and the appetizer of scallops with purple and orange cauliflower was cooked perfectly. (My one complaint was the amount of sand in one of the scallops.) My hubby got the sea bass with baby bok choy (cooked perfectly and the largest portion we’ve ever seen), and I got the salmon with pea risotto. Beautifully cooked and all the flavors were amazing. We were quite full, but the waitress brought a small chocolate cake, as my husband had arranged the dinner for my birthday. It was very decadent and even though we were full, we ate all of it. Would absolutely go back.
I ended up here randomly after a promoter handed us passes with two free drinks when we were headed to Light. He told us that there was an awesome view so we decided to check it out.Im so glad we did. Foundation Room, located inside Mandalay, has one of the best rooftop views of the strip that I have seen. Even though it was super cold out, we stayed for awhile taking pictures. The outside area isnt that big so it was crowded with people taking pictures. But, bc it was also cold out, people didnt stay long. The inside was packed and the music was pumping. Its got a really interesting Asian type ambiance on the inside. Although do find it really weird to see one of my Hindu gods displayed in a venue filled with drunk scantily clad people. As gorgeous as the statues are, theyre out of place.Definitely check this place out for the view. Its worth it
Left and went elsewhere. Elevator security was rude, once upstairs the hostess was not present. After several minutes of watching staff pass by without a word we left. This would not have been our first visit but it will be the last.
Quite possibly the best view of the strip. The inside is beautiful as well. Asian Pacific theme with a DJ playing food music and plenty of seating available. The staff was friendly and attentive. A great place to start you evening off with a few drinks and then hit up the town.
Swank little roof top lounge in Mandalay Bay, ballers like to frequent! Solid view of Vegas strip from the 62nd floor balcony. Private rooms, table bottle service. Cool vibe, good food. Caters to the 25-40 but with all ages visiting. Drinks today in Vegas are no longer cheap, a cocktail is 17+ US per. Service is fast and polite, worth a visit for the vibe:)
Spent the early evening up here to have some adult beverages and bask in the view. It cant be beat as one of the best kept not-so-secret spots in Las Vegas! The views of the Strip and the city are absolutely breathtaking. And then theres the top quality food. I highly recommend ordering the cauliflower tempura as an appetizer off the bar menu - cant get enough of that goodness! Great place to have drinks, great food, and spectacular views.
The foundation “club” is great place to hang out. It’s calm, and empty on a Sunday before 9:45 which is great for someone who want to relax and enjoy the rooftop patio that views the entire strip. However, what really outshined was the immaculate service that hostess, and our waitress Alicia was phenomenal. She made us feel welcome, and comfortable about being able to unwind at the location. She is the primary reason I️ will come back during my next visit.
Ultimate chic.Service here was fantastic from the moment you enter the front desk on the ground floor 2 the bartenders, everyone at the foundation room is top notch in their game. Just like the views overlooking the city are second to none so is the service and food. The menu might be simple but the drinks are just right. Food has healthy portions to share and everything tasted fantastic. Liquor lockers are available for members as well as private VIP Suites. The lounge on the deck has one of the most famous and amazing views of the strip. The entertainment rotates nightly so catch any of the local band members in the lounge. This place is intimate cozy and chic. This is a must do for anyone that wants to experience a true Vegas evening. Find a show and book your tickets.
Loved the decor and overall ambiance. Gorgeous place. I got the sea bass and it did not disappoint! Bread pudding was amazing too. Trust me on this, you will like it!
Elegant and exquisite place. We went for our first time with a group of friends. The service was great even for a larger party (especially with the current covid restrictions). Highly recommend this for couples looking for a date night, anniversaries, birthdays, or even business related. It is expensive, but the view and drinks are worth it.
Went to a special event party there. Interesting interior design with a great outside deck on the 60th floor of the resort. Great view of McCarran airport. Food was ok, drinks overpriced. Doubt Id go back.
This place is not very good. I called ahead to request a table with a view for my wife’s 50th birthday. We had to get there when they opened because we had tickets for a show. They sat us at the worst possible table. In the corner by the servers with no view at all! We were the only people in the place. They had several tables in a. Upper area that had views. The food was horrible, my fish was under cooked and looked like sushi. It was expensive for what we got and the experience was in a word horrible. I have worked in the hospitality industry and would advise not to eat here.
Very small nightclub that you can become a member to but you dont have to be a member to go there. The view from the balcony is incredible. One of the best views of the strip. You can see everything! Very nice inside. Sometimes not enough bartenders. The bar is very small. They have a lot of VIP areas with cushy couches.
Not a place to sit and enjoy a drink unless you have bottle service. I ABSOLUTELY DISLIKE THIS RULE. Except for the view of the strip you can totally skip this place. Is super small, looks dirty and the randomly charged my husband cover even when we where on a guest list.IT SEEMS THAT EVERYWHERE YOU GO THEY LOOK AT YOU AND DECIDE IN AN ARBITRARY WAY HOW MUCH AND WHEN TO CHARGE YOU for that dingy ugly place skip it.
Second visit in 2 years..the view from the balcony no matter what time it is viewed is amazing, the Drink was a Sangria that was fabulous its has great taste , the food was impeccable, the chef did and awesome job with my Lamb chops! The service by all was gracious and nonintrusive, you were able to talk and enjoy yourself and the view from your vantage point in the room..Love this restaurant..
We were there to celebrate our Anniversary and this place is not the place if you want an intimate experience...... they had the club next door and the restaurant backed up to the balcony where the DJ was people kept coming inside from both doors blaring the music inside as were trying to enjoy dinner. IF I wanted dinner where I couldnt hear my husband or I wanted to have loud rap music I would have sat on the balcony and ate my 200.00 dinner will never go back not worth the money.....
Grabbed a quick bite to eat here. Didnt have a formal dinner. Nice quite place for dinner and service was great. We had their crab cakes, and ceviche. It was awesome! We also went the the foundation lounge. After 9pm it becomes a lounge/ club with music. An older crowd. We had a lot of fun!! Definitely recommend!
We’re local and wanted to take our guests somewhere cool for dinner. We were greeted by James Lorenzo at the elevators and thought this was going to be really awesome. As soon as we got upstairs we didn’t know where to go and the hostess walked by us totally ignoring us until I asked here if she worked there. She then wouldn’t seat us, as we asked, but said we had to find the rest of our party before being seated. I’ve never heard of that. Her attitude was a bit of a red flag and I almost wanted to go somewhere else but our guests arrived. Dinner service was extremely slow despite the restaurant being half empty. We sat forever with empty drinks and had to keep flagging people down for a glass of wine. The food was fairly good, except the steak which had a strange metallic taste but no other flavour. sadly this place had NO idea how to provide the kind of service that would justify the price of the bill. We opted out of dessert or coffees because we had already felt that we were treated poorly and didn’t want to give them any more money. The view is the single redeeming quality of this place but I would never return.
Beautiful amazing view in the day time, i cant imagine how cool it is at night. A man approached me in the lobby handed me two tickets to go see the view, so glad i did go. Ordered a grill cheese sandwich for 12.00. And enjoyed the shade on the 61 floor. At night they charge an admission but wow, its worth it!
Was there for a special event. Very chill lounge, a bit more crowded then I would like, and drink prices are pretty high, but it has an awesome outdoor deck overlooking McCarran. Not sure Id ever go back though.
First time trying out the small bites on the lounge side. From the bartender who served our first drinks, to our actual server Cassidy that brought us food plus helped out with bottle service later that evening, to the bouncers, the service was exceptional throughout the night. They always made sure we were taken care of, gave great recommendations, plus were super nice. The Korean fried chicken with the boa buns was super delicious! Paired very well with the spicy red sauce. We also tried the Charcuterie board, it was ok but Ive had better. I really enjoyed my time at the private room on the corner with the buddha statue, DJ Sincere was djing this particular night. It was so much fun we ended up getting 2 bottles of champagne throughout the night. The confetti and lights with each bottle ordered definitely adds that special wow factor when they bring the bottle to the table.
The club its nicely decorated featuring a beautiful view over the strip but was crowded and expensive. At 500 us/VIP table its quite expensive and the place its crowed. Even with table its uncomfortable. We stay in another part of the club where was a private venue where was less crowded. The music was fine but not great.Anyway, one time experience since second time it will be not necessarily.
Pros:Great rooftop view if you can find space to stand. The bartenders are quick with drink orders and there are cool female dancers.Cons:Really small space, theres no room to move or dance. A fat white bouncer shines a flashlight in your face randomly when you come inside from the balcony. The local bar is bigger than this place. Theres nothing special about this club just has a small balcony with a nice view.
The Foundation Room is a superb dining experience. A limited menu of mostly fish and steak but what is served is excellent. The wait staff are great. The decor of the rooftop location is a gorgeous view day and night. The bar has good stock but the bartenders are only familiar with pedestrian drinks and dont measure ingredients. Since they free pour the result varies. I will make it a point to come here every time when in Las Vegas.
I was at Mandalay for a work conference. My wife and I spoke to a gentleman on the casino floor and got put on the VIP guest list, which allowed us to bring all of my coworkers and their guests to the club for free, with free drinks for the ladies. It gave us a very exclusive feel and was an amazing experience. Very tight security, and all of our top executives ended up at the club the same night which tells me its the place to be if youre staying near Mandalay. Greatest view in Vegas is their claim, and I would agree.
Ok, so this was one of the top clubs on our tour. I wrote a partial review about it because we visited the Mandalay Bay Hotel and casino resort. This was the club located inside. Very beautiful ladies, great bar service and the music was live. You should definitely check this place out during your next visit.Kinda hare not to have a good time anywhere in Vegas.
Came here for a friends birthday. Got VIP treatment and bottle service. It was so fun!!! These gals came out dancing with sparklers. The staff was very nice and attentive. We will definitely be back!!!!
First time at the Foundation room. Beautiful place great music! Can’t rate the food cause after about an hrs never got ask or aproached by a waitress or waiter to get food or drinks. I try the bar to get some drinks, bartender said waitress will be right with you. After about an hr we made the decision to just leave. We discovered we have the power of invisibility. Beautiful place. Service can’t say nothing good about it 😖
Visited last week and had an outstanding dinner, the salmon might have been the best we have ever had. David our waiter was a blast and very professional. Make a reservation and enjoy the view and this place, totally awesome!!!!
I went bottle service at a few clubs in Vegas and Foundation Room was hands down the best experience. They made me and my guests feel like rockstars.. All the staff including our server, security and a special shout out to Luis.. Book it in!! Plus it has the best view of the strip..I cant thank them enough, I will be back
I had a wonderful experience at Mandalay Bay. The staff were professional and accommodating. My room was clean, especially the bathroom. The view was beautiful. I would have given 5 stars but the walls are thin and I could hear my neighbors conversation
I experienced 1 rude security guard that felt threatened by a dancer smiling at me . He stared at me and never told me what I did wrong . I really believe no dating amongst employees should be allowed in these kinds of establishments. Be careful when visiting this place.
The view is a little overrated and very squishy. The bar is worse... its like sardines trying to dance. Ladies if you do not reserve a booth; be prepared to stand up the whole time u are there. I liked the free drinks with a choice of champagne or vodka.
The best view of the strip! Incredible bar at the top of Mandalay Bay with amazing views of Las Vegas. The vibe of the bar oozes class and the style/ decor is something else. Resident DJs make this bar a hot spot to kick the night off. A must do in Vegas even if it’s just for a quick drink to see the view.
We had a good time. The view was everything as it is on the top of the Mandalay Bay Resort.Prices were insanely expensive in the bar.All the female bar tenders were extremely rude and ignorant. The only great bartender was the only male bar tender in the place. The music was good until around 12:30am. When it turned into an indian bar/club. We felt like we were on vacation in mumbai all of a sudden.Thats when we and most of the place left. Not intelligent on the behalf of the management.
Phenomenal strip views from the terrace, but other than that its not really a big deal. Music inside is so loud you cant talk. Its funny that they try to make like its some exclusive club, when obviously its going to be full of Vegas tourists! I would never pay, but when they give me a comp then we go up and have a drink and enjoy the view.
Amazing time dancing at Foundation Room last night. The staff- Patrick (bartender), Devrik, and James (security) were extremely accommodating and hospitable. I will definitely return! If only every bar could have a bartender as quick and efficient as Patrick!
Once we were up at the restaurant, we were immediately sat near the window with some great views of the strip. The views continue as you are free to walk out onto the terrace to check out the strip, planes landing/taking off at Mc Carren airport. Just an amazing experience. Our wait staff was nothing short of awesome, very attentive and even explained the history and background of the Foundation Room and its greatFood - AMAZING!!!!!!! We have eaten at most some great steakhouses in the Las Vegas, but honestly this place was just awesome. My husband had a filet while I had lobster and honestly, some of the best lobster I have ever had with some very mouth watering flavoring.
Reserved a VIP table for a date night with my beautiful wife, the service was amazing, the atmosphere was great! Definitely coming back!!
Have to say.. I wasnt a huge fan. Not that it was a terrible experience, but because it wasnt my style. It gets very packed and they closed the outside area when we arrived which was disappointing. Its not worth the price of entry (tip, walk past this place early if you want to get in for free later). Also the blocked off areas for seating were annoying, especially since they were empty. You would think theyd fill these areas, but nope. Theres no one there to even ask. We asked for matches and were made to wait just to not get them. I wasnt a fan.
Went here as part of a corporate event. I can’t gauge what their normal beer selection is, but they didn’t have much at the bars (and nothing local). Views are nice (Skyfall at the Delano is nicer) and the dining/seating areas are distinctive.
The best part of this overrated restaurant was the bartender, Patrick. Our portions were small but flavorful however, the service horrible. Our waiter never asked us how our food was and was totally non-existent. Major disappointment!
Elevator ride up to the 43rd floor (the building only has 43 floors so the statement that this restaurant/lounge is on the 64th floor is only bc of Mandalay Bays bizarre floor numbering not reality) - one party per ride. Ride down - all aboard!! How quickly the rules are overlooked. Had to search for hostess. Hi guys. Wow how professional. Table not set upon arrival. Utensils rolled in a napkin, water and bread placed on opposite side of table requiring us to distribute them (are we at Cracker Barrel?!). You can sit outside in the 110 heat if you like - but you only know of this option if youre in the know. Then, if you stand up, you may have a view of the distance Strip down the Blvd or a decent view of the airport. If you sit inside you will have a view of the folks sitting outside sweating - nothing else. Dont stress over the dress code for a sophisticated night out multiple diners were wearing shorts, even one in a pair of cut off jeans. Menu and food were nothing special. Dishes not cleared. Water not refilled. Didnt bother ordering a second glass of wine since dinner was long over by the time the server resurfaced. Tab $150 for 2. Went to Ri Ra Irish Pub for dessert of a wonderful baked to order bread pudding, traditionally prepared Irish coffee and attentive service. Dont waste your money. If you want to see whats up there - go to the lounge.
Very nice decor. There is a members only section. Music was hip hop, rap dance. It was ok. Not busy on a Thurs. night, the week before 4th of July. Music may be better on Fri/Sat. Outside small terrace has a fantastic view of the strip at night. Worth seeing.
Reserved a room for a birthday party, after the appetizer we were asked to leave. Their excuse was that another group rented the entire place. We felt so disrespected. Will never go there again.
Ambiance was chill and the view was amazing but food was nothing special. The first item we were served was the crab cake, I personally didnt like it, second was 2 whole leafs of romaine lettuce with a ceaser dressing. Other then the fact I had to break it into bite size pieces, it was the one that tasted best. i was served the chicken with potatoes and Brussel sprouts. The chicken seemed undercooked and potatoes were burned on the outside and not cooked all the way through the inside. The brussel sprouts were cooked to perfection. Lastly was dessert. A dry chocolate cupcake with a raspberry on top. It was not good.
The female bartender At the Foundation Room was very rude Friday night. As a guest of this hotel I expected way better treatment and customer service. She had the nerve to get upset when I told her my drink tasted like sugar instead of alcohol. She called me to the other side of the bar by yelling at me and saying Come here, come over here and look At Me. This was loud for people around to hear and make sure people knew She was in charge and made me feel unimportant as a customer. Drinks are way over priced to taste like sugar. Mandalay needs to kick them out and bring a better venue in. After complaining to the person I thought was in charge at the check in list in the lobby. He simply said oh ok. At no time did he apologize or did he offer to give me any compensation for my experience. Worse customer service.
A promoter approached my group and gave us passes for free admission for ladies and half off for men. He also mentioned it was Latino night. Men paid $20 and received a free drink voucher. The nightclub is SMALL. The VIP tables take up 2/3 of the space. Don’t expect to see a dance floor. The little space you do have along the bar is constantly invaded by people entering and exiting the club. One way in and out. The music was good but it was mostly reggaeton which we didn’t mind but we were hoping for a bit more variety (salsa, merengue, cumbia, bachata) since it was “Latino” night. Awesome view of the strip and drinks were good. Just wish there was an actual dance floor.
Its ok . Bottle service is meh. Nice lounge though. I asked about any vip and Im guessing by my early morning attire I didnt look that appealing to help they kinda shrugged me off. Took my 20k in my pocket elsewhere.
Its an ok quick visit to have a drink if you want to be around a small nightclub environment for the night if you have a room in the casino but to visit from another or to party the night away its not the ideal place. Small club, small tight dance floor and the only space I saw that you can sit and drink comfortably was the vip tables which are real close to the rest. If you want to take a selfie outside for the great view keep in mind if its a packed night be patient because people hog the areas you want to see or take a pic and as for the bar service wasnt pleasant, the bartenders seem to goof while taking orders it just added to the longer wait to ask for a drink.
Best view in Vegas. Overpriced drinks, decentish quality. Music and DJ were AMAZING, crowd was a bit interesting..... (.....) Yup, I mean, the view is worth it all.
We went because we had free admission and drink tickets. Cool view and good service but cool nothing else—- no space to dance unless you paid for bottle service. Pretty lame crowd.
Excellent cocktails. The food was very good as well. Service was top-notch. We dined here before seeing a show at the House of Blues. Would definitely return.
Took 9 guests here from out of town, all of them CEOs/VPs. They all loved it, especially the views! I especially loved the Mac n cheese side with the bacon. Will keep coming back!
Wonderful view on the balcony the music played could use some TLC. Food was good and decent portions served. Would definitely recommend visiting to anyone.
The Foundation Room is the Ultra Lounge with amazing views to the north and south from high above Las Vegas. It was the ideal place to celebrate a dear friends birthday. If you have a reserved room it seems a whole lot less like a crowded bar.
Love this place. Amazing drinks, food, view. Everytime we are in Vegas, this is our must go place. Its a classy place with a relaxing ambience. We usually start the night here and go on to crazier adventures. Just love it here 😍
Came here with my girls after a J Balvin concert at the Mandalay Bay. DJ played a good mix of Latin music. The view is amazing! Only thing is it got pretty packed and there wasnt much room to dance since people kept passing by but other than that the vibe was great!
Nice place in the 63rd floor Mandalay bay. Happy hour specials are good and it offers a great outdoor view of the strip. Would recommend this if your looking for something a little bit different than the usual upscale Vegas restaurants
Great views. However, for a great experience this should offer some kind of live music (light jazz?) and more reasonably priced drinks. There are many other locations that provide better band for your buck.
Foundation room was okay. Music however I did not like BC they played techno MUSIC all night. I would have preferred a mixture of music . Only positive was the view however was spectacular.
Our favorite place to go in Vegas, when we want to have a fancy drink. The views are the best in town, plus the drinks are really well made and not crazy expensive. They have djs on some nights also
Order the Filet Mignon...ask for Pittsburgh style (charred outside) and blue in the middle. Youll LOVE it! Great views from the outdoor balcony. Our waiter, David, was amazing!
The bartender Autumn has a really really bad attitude. Made a very nasty Long Island ice tea, charged us $17 which is ok, but when we asked to exchange something different she throws a huge tantrum at us and yelled at us, very unprofessional, we’re humiliated and very upset by her action! The other tall bar guy is rude as hell too. There’re plenty of great bars and night clubs on the strip, so please watch out the way you treat your customer!
With in 2 minutes of being there my friend sat on the ledge to take a selfie because of the beautiful view and instead of asking to not do that they decide just to kick him out. When started to ask questions they kicked me out too and 2 of my other friends. They kicked out 4 people instead of just educating us to not take selfies while leaning over the ledge. Not causing issue or anything this is a horrible club and worst the hotel management too. This club will definitely not last.
We were early for our reservations. 40 minutes later no one was concerned about our reservations. We were seeing a show and we still were not seated. Bottom line... we were going to spend over 150 a person for food and wine and they were not concerned.
Excellent what you expect from Vegas 63rd floor balcony view. Awesome atmosphere and good food strong drinks top track music mostly rap and hip hop but it has an all range groups casual dress, well worth the trip
Honestly we eat at alot if high profile restaurants. They were understaffed, it took about an hour to get our food out. I hate to leave a bad review but for the price of this dinner this was terrible. I hope they fix this. I dont say this lightly.
