My grandkids were eaten alive by bed bugs and they carry diseases. Ive read reviews and more people are complaining about bed bugs. Everybody is not lying and if you know that your motel has bed bugs and you continue to rent those rooms out youre looking at a very large lawsuit. My business law class, taught me that in college so I dont think you want to continue taking chances. Class action lawsuit! Me going back to college has nothing to do with your motel establishment continuing to rent out rooms knowing you have bed bugs. Ive looked at reviews from months ago even 2 years ago complaining about you having bed bugs. Are you doing is spot spraying. You need to go to college and get some education on how to run a business before you end up losing it from a lawsuit Im just trying to give you some helpful advice. Take it how you want to! Is clear that you can care less because if you did you wouldnt have these type of comments!!

I woke up covered in bed bug bites when I told the lady she said thanks for telling me offered no type of compensation and didnt seem to care at all. I will be reporting to the health department due to her lack of concern.

I frequently visit my family member who stays there frequently due to plumbing and heating problems but since they only have a few weeks to wait to move in their house I’m going to urge the family to check out asap due to the shooting that took place. The rooms are decent and they up keep the place from what I have seen but I treasure my family and worry for their safety now. Sometimes I will stay in the room with my uncle if my aunt has to stay out late so he is not alone and due to his health problems to make sure his heart monitor is functioning properly but last night someone lost their life and my uncle could have had a heart attack/failure from the stress caused by the commotion going on in the parking lot the noise is one thing and I know due bc of the location you have your people from all walks of life which is understandable but fearing for your life and the possibility from being hospitalized or even dying alone from just hearing a shooting and the loss of life just outside of your door is extremely upsetting and quite disturbing.. Prayers to the family of the victim and for the safety of the motel staff and other guest who witnessed this tragedy or were there at the time. I will say aside from the guest or ppl in the area at night with the noise and the need for more security the rooms are nice and the showers are pretty as well and my family has been fairly happy staying there. I am still going to ask they check out but it is their choice but I am very concerned should they choose to stay until they are ready to move in their house

Terrible u can’t no rest ppl arguing in the parking lot all night running up and down the stairs ppl was arguing for 3 hrs straight they b loud blasting music this establishment is supposed to be where u can get rest then they say 2 to a rm but it b groups of ppl in 1 rm constantly fighting and being very loud and whoever in the office act like they can hear or see anything but they want $70 bucks for what for u to stay up all night without getting rest then they have bedbugs and guess u supposed to still stay in the same rm terrible place

This motel has clean great size rooms and great cable and they do respond quickly to any issues you my have. I wanted to apologize to the owner and staff about a issue I had today especially the tone I had used to address it. They respond very quickly though and I really appreciate Maria the maintenance lady for always giving me exceptional professional service whenever asked thank you so much.

Im only giving it three stars because its clean. Ive been staying here almost a week. Not once did anybody knock on my door or call from the front desk to see if I needed soap clean towels or to change my bed or the garbage good thing I bought my own stuff. Its very noisy the young people have no respect as usual. They running in and out all night arguing in the parking lot. But when we checked we was told no more than two people in the room but I watched 7 young people party all night. Those stairs nosey and you can here doors slamming all night. Hopefully my house ready or Ill be going somewhere else. I wouldnt recommend to stay here if you work and got to rest. But other than that its clean they did upgrade.

Today I am so disappointed. I stayed here the very first day they opened. Staff was friendly. So i thought i would stay again. Well i called 9 am this morning to have the sheets changed. Was told ok, so about 12pm i called again was told that they were at lunch and that she was sending them to our room next. Well we left about 1:30pm and came back around 10pm and the sheets still werent changed. They cleaning the room next door. I asked were they coming to our room next, the response was no, go to front desk. My husband went to the front desk. Had to speak with the manager. Now at 10:33pm our room is being cleaned. Not mention i was charged 50 cents for a bucket of ice.

The woman who took my money for the room overstepped her bounds with her big mouth!!!While paying for my room a young lady entered the lobby and spoke to me, the clerk asked was the young lady my daughter (extremely unprofessional) and it was none of her damn business!!!The room wasnt exactly clean, and the clerk also told me certain rooms were available until I cautioned her about her unprofessionalism and then the only rooms available were the most expensive rooms ONLY.I will NEVER go to this motel again, and I would suggest EVERYONE use any other motel in existence for your stay.

Looking for a hotel to beat the heat and came across this one because it is close to my bfs house. After reading the feedback, I was looking forward to getting a room. Then... I seen how the owner replies to someone expressing how they had a negative experience and instead of being a caring business owner, you are rude, arrogant, and not trying to be helpful whatsoever. Lost my interest completely because if I have any issue while Im there, I shouldnt feel like I cannot express that. Your business should be ran to make the customer happy- not put them in check because you dont like what review they put. You just lost a customer. ✌ Do better.

Very impressed! Unexpected perfection! Newly renovated and extra clean. Employees were helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay again. Close to major freeways and 20 minutes from downtown Detroit. Thank You, for a comfortable stay away from home.

Cmon folks this place is in Detroit, its a place to flop for a night and move on. If you stayed there you couldnt afford any place better. These, types of places are cheap for a reason. Wish I could find one in a City I would actually like to visit.

I loved it! Very comfortable beds great tv no BUGS no nothing worth the MONEY gated parking lot as well felt very safe especially it being on the East side only thing is missing is a mini fridge and microwave other then that me and my best friend enjoyed our selfs and will be back again

Me and my mom was going through a struggle with our house so we couldnt go there so we went to family members and they denied we went to friends they denied us so we went to Cabanas and worst days of my life and them we went to JZ omg it was so gorgeous the bed sheets was clean no bedbugs or roaches and my room had a freezer and microwave with a 50+in TV on the wall with cable and a Warm/Cold Air on the wall and the bathroom was stunning with CLEAN bathrooms and all white with a walk in shower and they give you a card with your number which you have to give them a DAY to get in your room and theres and snack/chip/juice/pop machine in the main lobby and they have free WiFi all you have to do is ask them and they will right it down for you on a post-it-note. Now I told you all the good stuff one thing I dont like about JZ is that they housing keeping is horrible all they do is vacuum one spot then leave and give you a tissue and THEY HAVE MOUSE HOLE where I was a little mouse running around are room now and then but anyways I LOVE JZ me, my mom, and my sister was in JZ for litterly a month and now my house fixed I wont change anything at ALL. No microwave in the room carpets filthy soap is so tiny towels are tiny other than that it was alright did not pay that 50 cent for ice ridiculous never stayed here before may stay here again if I have to

These folks deserve a round of applause-They have turned this place into a nice, respectable and clean establishment, from what it USED to be.The Staff is Caring, Respectful and Polite.Excellant Job turning this place around.I commend your work and effort.

By far the cleanest in the city not only 8 mile!All these negative reviews are just other motel owners in Harper woods getting jealous cause now our money is going somewhere where it’s clean and safe not getting our cars broken into!

Every time I try to call this business and check for rates no one answers my calls. I know its pass midnight right now but Theyre supposed to answer calls 24hrs a day or night. I hope whoevers working the front desk at this hour gets fired for sleeping on the job smh😒👎🏽

Good evening I have a question to the managers of JZ suites on East 8 mile. I went to this motel to get a room because our power went out and I’m on oxygen and a cpap machine I called before I came and was told the queen size was 60 and the king size was 70 dollars, I come to the place it was me and my son and grand babies 6,11,13 and I was told I had to pay 10 dollars per child plus a 25 key deposit I’m not understanding what kind of mess this is; and then I asked for the managers name to speak to in the morning he told me no and continued to argue after I said ok I’ll take this up with a manager in the Morning: quote unquote I’m not obligated to tell you that I said well I’ll be back in the morning and he still was talking negative so I asked him what’s his name while it was other customers going to the front desk he still getting smart this was a brother with short curly hair Carmel complexion with tats on each forearm since I couldn’t get a name maybe the manager will know exactly who I’m speaking on. Poor service and very poor judgement of how to handle business I don’t discredit this motel but what he was trying to pull you can go to the hawthorn suites on 12 1/2 for that price with a Frigidaire, stove, dishwasher it has a bedroom it’s beautiful like an apt then it’s stays inn or the Baymont. All beautiful treat people with respect your not paying no 10 per child it has a swimming pool outside a kitchen that feeds you hot breakfast from 6 to 9 and also does dinner on Wednesday this is what you go through trying to support Detroit motels back to 12 I’m going. And I’m waiting for whoever it is that answers these reviews. Sincerely Aimee I could understand if it was all grown folks I needed somewhere to be able to use my equipment and rest this is crazy.

Clean ...But for $70.00 there wasnt no shampo or nothing to hang your clothes up.Staff was also running vacum at 12am. Just posting this for some improvements not to say that I wont be back..

I Came Here When It First Open Back In November Now I Came Back It Appear That Some Of The Rooms May Have Bed Bugs But They Dont Believe They Do But I Have Pictures To Show They Switch My Rooms And Obviously They Have A Problem Cause I Know I Didnt Bring Them No Matter How Clean A Room Might Be I Have Bite Marks And Pictures To Show...I Love This Low-key Motel But Please Make Sure Yll Change The Beds No Matter What!

Want to come visit this motel but heard of alot of violence happening around there and I worry about being carjacked or robbed!

They will look you in the face and lie to you they bed sheets and blankets still have burn holes in them they are very funny acting you will see I wont be back again

I love the elder guy at rhe desk! Hes always nice and the rooms are always clean never an issue since rhey opened

I stay here all the time but tonight whomever this guy here is...hes charging people a extra $5 key deposit...making it a $10 key deposit which Ive never paid before & hes charging people $25 extra if you have a child /children with you which is unheard of because Ive never had to pay that before & I stay here for work at least 3 times per week...I want to know whos the Owner/Manager so I can complain or tale my business eleswhere & tell everyone i know what this guy does

SO WATCH YOUR STEP. THE SHEETS WERE STAINED WITH COLORS. THE SMALLEST BARS OF SOAP IVE EVER SEEN. THE TOILET WAS VERY LOUD AND LEAKED WATER.I DIDNT SEE A BUG BUT ITCHED ALL NIGHT. I HAD TO PAY FOR AN ICE BUCKET. THE CARPETING WAS MOIST AND MUCKY. THE NEXT MORNING ON FATHERS DAY, THE DOOR WAS OPENING AND I YELLED HEY,HEY. THE HOUSEKEEPER PROCEEDED TO TO ENTER THE ROOM AS I YELLED HEY AND I WAS SITTING THERE NAKED. I CALLED FRONT DESK AND THEY SAID SOMEONE HAD JUST RETURNED THE KEY FOR THAT ROOM BUT WE ONLY HAD 1 KEY. I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER WHO YELLED AND SAID ALL I CAN SAY IS SORRY AND HUNG UP IN MY FACE! ILL NEVER RETURN THERE. MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WILL NEVER GO THERE AND WHOEVER READS THIS SHOULD NEVER EVER GO THERE.THEY ARE RUDE, FILTHY AND HAVE NO HOSPITALITY! IM GOING TO WRITE MY STATEMENT ,COPY IT AND POST IT AT ALDI , DUNKIN DONUTS, LITTLE CAESARS, MILAN DOLLAR STORE,BURGER KING, DOLLAR GENERAL, AND ALL THROUGH MY COMMUNITY SO THAT PEOPLE WILL BE AWARE OF WHAT SERVICE THEYLL RECEIVE IF THEY GO TO THIS PLACE. IT WAS NOT WORTH $80 OR THE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I SUFFERED. THE NERVES OF THESE PEOPLE.
