Best massage I have ever had, highly recommended!!! I scheduled a 60-minute body rub and facial treatment at this place yesterday. The workers were welcoming and accommodating and the places were clean. I had CiCi for my massage and facial, she is professional and definitely knows what she is doing. I felt relaxed and enjoyed the whole process. They even have a minibar offering complimentary iced tea and snacks after the massage. I will definitely come back again.

When I came in I informed the lady I had an appointment at 1pm and I purchased the Groupon. She proceed to catch an attitude as if she was mad I purchased one. I told her I wanted the Swedish massage as that’s what I purchased. Never got it. Instead I got a deep tissue. I was never asked my preference on male or female. I was put into a room and eventually a male masseuse came in. The massage was UNCOMFORTABLE. Overly massaging the buttock area, when the sign says “keep underwear on” he pulled them down, and I pulled them back up. Asked him to focus on my neck and he then tried to run his hand down the middle of my chest and I said NO. This is not massage practice AT ALL. I’ve had enough massages and I have NEVER experienced anything like this. I looked and asked for the manager after. Instead he ignored me and told me have a seat for iced tea and pretzels. He walked me out and never saw the manager. I called to speak with her directly. She begins to YELL and tell me that this is the wrong place and that the male masseuse is professional and that I am calling the wrong place. That everything is recorded. I informed her that I was IN FACT calling the correct place and that I didn’t care about a refund b/c I will NOT return. And that as the manager it her duty to speak with the employee and that they should NOT be recording any massages w/o the customer knowledge. She asked me if I said anything to him and I told her I told him no. She claims she will follow up with him and told me it is a language barrier. But based off her initial response, im sure more people have called to complain about the SAME issue. Will not return here AT ALL. If I could give no stars TRUST that I would.

I purchased a Groupon as a gift from this place and when I called to schedule an appointment for her and gave the name, the person on the phone immediately asked “have you been here before.” I said no. They proceeded to accept the appointment. When my girlfriend called back 15 mins later to change to a later time, they again asked if she’s been there before and said she couldn’t use the Groupon, which we ignored due to us knowing we’ve never been before. Once she arrived, immediately the manager Cici began saying “I told you you can’t use the Groupon, you’ve been here before.” They were extremely rude and once they realized they had the wrong person after going back and forth for about 5 mins, they wanted to continue with the massage, but after the way she was treated she no longer wanted to be serviced by this place. I am embarrassed & upset for her because as a business owner and service provider, I would never treat anyone like that! These people are horrible and rude! I would never go there again and I am requesting a refund! They need to be off of Groupon if they’re going to be upset if people buy it.

It has been a great experience for me to be coming here to Spa 22 Healthland for several times now. The staff is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and they do their job very well. I get the 90 minute massage. I always enjoy and look forward to coming back here. I know that I will never need to go anyplace else.

Came here to do a couples massage with my husband as we are on vacation and wanted a day to relax, but instead left the spa more tense than we were when we entered. We asked for a deep tissue massage and my husband only got a Swedish massage, while our masseuses were constantly having conversation and burping with their mouths closed. When it was time to pay, I had groupon open, but started getting yelled at about the price before I could even say anything. Ended up having to pay for two deep tissue massages when we clearly had two different services. Disappointing customer service and would not recommend.

I came here and had a massage and facial and loved the service.. I highly recommend this place. The masseuses are professional and very attentive! After I was finished they gave me a drink and snacks. Im definitely going back!

Main counter person CiCi became somewhat rude when I tried to buy a basic 60min massage gift for my wife at the online price and didn’t want the higher priced stones or deep tissue. She kept saying with a mean tone that my wife won’t like the Swedish massage they offer and I need to spend more on the other upgrades, even after I told her we recently completed a 10 massage package at another place for Swedish and my wife loved it. Seems odd to have something on your menu and then when a customer asks for it, you deny them and push them out your door with no sale.

I walked into the establishment for the very first time .I said how you doing I have an appointment at four. I was immediately told “you can’t come here,You’ve been here before “ stated CiCi(manager ). I went on to tell her a friend had bought me a Groupon 60 Swedish massage And I have never in my life, walked in these doors before .I spent the next 10 minutes trying to explain that she must Confusing me with someone else even providing my name and my telephone number,however she tried to convince me otherwise.Next, CiCi went on to converse with another coworker, and after a few more minutes, I guess they realized that they had me confused with someone else and told me I can just come in the back. But at that point I felt Extremely uncomfortable and racially profiled. I decided to have my friend cancel the Groupon and not receive any services. This is the worst case of customer service /profiling I have ever dealt with my life . This event left me feeling Uncomfortable and saddened. No person should be treated like I was treated .This establishment needs do better. A simple apology would’ve been suffice, but I didn’t even get that.

I saw an add on groupon for a hydrafacial. I asked for a hydrafacial and when I called them over the phone they said not to buy it on groupon but instead show them the groupon and they will redeem it at the value. I was still skeptical but I confirmed that the price on the website was the same as the groupon price and I felt comfortable. I went in at my appointment time confirmed that I was there for a hydrafacial and instead of recieving a hydrafacial like I had asked the lady gives me something different and it was more painful.

I booked a 60 minute massage today as a treat for my birthday. I’ve never had a massage before outside of a chiropractor’s office so this was definitely a very relaxing experience. Angela was the masseuse who worked on me and she was very friendly, made sure I was comfortable and did an amazing job. I will definitely be going back thank you.

I am really really disappointed in this place. My daughter and son-in-law are visiting NJ. They had some downtime today and wanted to go for a massage. I highly recommended 22 Spa Healthland so they decided to book a couples massage. Well, this was a BIG MISTAKE. Its too long to go through the details. In a nutshell, one of the therapists gave a poor massage, claimed to have given a deep tissue but didnt, kept interrupting the massage to answer her phone, and the therapists kept talking to each other while massaging the couple. Once my daughter and her husband went to the desk to pay for their services, they mentioned Groupon. Before she could even ask a question the person at the register proceeded to yell at my daughter saying that she should have mentioned it before they went for their services. My daughter was unable to say anything about the Groupon beforehand bc when they arrived at the spa there was no one at the desk to greet them so they were rushed into the room and their massage started late. In the end, my daughter paid full price and gave a bad tip. Poor service deserves a poor tip. Everything about this experience was bad from beginning to end. Terrible spa treatment and no customer service to speak of. I was truly embarrassed for recommending this place. I will NEVER RECOMMEND 22 SPA HEALTHLAND AGAIN. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else.*****************************Update (4/6/24)- I just got off the phone with the owner to discuss my daughters experience. As expected, nothing was done and I was told She doesnt know whats the matter with my daughter that she was unsatisfied. They have a lot of other satisfied customers. Maybe she just didnt like the price.I guess the owner didnt think it was a problem for the therapists to talk to each other during the couples massage, answer the phone constantly, and to burp throughout the session. If thats considered acceptable customer service, then count me out. I will never go back there and will never recommend this spa again.

Very nice quaint spa. The massages are affordable and the staff is nice and accommodating. It is only $75 for a 60 minute massage and access to the sauna.This is my 2nd visit here and it is always a good experience. They give you complimentary snacks and hot tea after the massage. Since I got a message and then went into the sauna, they gave me iced tea.They included hot stones in the massage for free as well.In the future, I hope they add heated pads to the bed and use large bed towels.

I don’t mind paying extra money but nothing bothers me more than these places scamming clients. And they always act like it’s because of the language barrier. I walk in and mention I have a Groupon. They give me a massage. I tip well. And then only after, they say that I owe an extra 20 because it was a deep tissue. It’s just such an unethical business practice and it costs business money in the longrun. I would’ve been a regular client if they weren’t liars.

It was my first and last visit. The massage was nothing special—dry. The therapist kept on burping throughout the session, so that was annoying. The sauna was the only good experience there.

Finally decided to use my gift certificate received a couple of months back. Called 1/1, to make an appointment for a massage and facial based off gift certificate. Upon my arrival I told the lady who came to the front desk that I had an appointment, she asked what time and I told her, she said I was early and asked me to sit in another sitting area. Not fully confirming what my appointment was for. Some time after another lady came over to bring me to the room, she spoke no English. Once I settled in the room she used her phone to translate and it seemed like the translation really didn’t work. The massage was very hard and left me sore. Once done I told the masseuse that I also had a facial. The lady from front desk came in and asked if I could reschedule they were busy. I told her when I called I scheduled for both. Like 10 min later another lady came in for my facial, which was great! Unfortunately I didn’t get her name she did mention she only works Sunday. If someone is going to need to use a translator app to communicate with customer, that’s fine but someone else should be available to ensure the communication is clear. Never left a spa in discomfort. The spa itself is clean and well kept.

My husband and I have been going to this spa for about 2 years now. Best massages! Cici is my favorite, although all the masseuges there are awesome!

Ive been to this spot 3 times now. Each time I had a very good experience. Once was for a solo massage w/ facial, once was for a couples massage, and once was the Luxury facial. The Luxury facial was amazing! She took her time and even massaged my head and neck.I felt great after leaving each time. The staff is very friendly! The decorations are nice and the house coffee is very good!The only issue is that the walls are a little thin, so you can hear conversations in the waiting area occasionally. So better to go in the evening.

I scheduled a pampering special- massage and facial. This was the perfect birthday treat. Cindy did my massage and facial and I have no complaints. She took extra good care of me and attended to my face carefully, while also giving me tips for skin care. I left feeling very relaxed and skin feeling better than I came there with. I will be coming back to do another facial with Cindy to take care of my acne.

I got an excellent massage from young lady named Sylvia. She has a wonderful personality & a very nice person to talk with.Sylvia led me to room #3 which is the room I am usually in when I go here.She started with me facedown & used a medium touch massage that was perfect.When she finished she worked on my face, arms, hands, & legs.This was an excellent massage. I highly recommend Sylvia.

I love 22 Spa Health Land. $90 for a 90 min massage is one of the greatest things you can do for your self! Very clean and professional staff. They have bars on the ceiling so they can walk on your back! Me and my husband also once did the hour couples massage for $120! The value here is amazing!

I am so happy that I found this spa. The owner is extremely nice and you cannot beat the price for the value of the services!! I came here for a massage and I got a facial included because the deal was so great. I would be coming back for the sauna (which is new and well maintained). The place is fantastic honestly and has a calm ambiance.

My visit was amazing. They welcomed me and the place was clean and the staff was so nice. The massage was so amazing that she helped me with my back issues. I end up getting a facial that felt so good and relaxing. The dry sauna was even more peaceful cause I was the only person in there. They provided fruit and water which was really good. Overall I will be going back.

For facial, one person was doing it while the other was there for companionship?. At one point I said too hot, the one giving the facial turned it down, the second said something and the gurl turned it back to too hot. Did not like that. For the massage, again I said it was hot, I think it was stones, as you can see in the photo my back was left with red marks and dots from the hot water (towel) and stone. Not coming back to this place.Posting this again, because is not appearing as a review. But this really happened.

My first time here and it will not be my last. I came here for a 90-minute massage. I had a lot of tension in my shoulders, traps, calves, and feet, and Iknew I needed additional pressure to alleviate the pain. They did not disappoint. They also included hot stones during the massage, and small snacks and water after. Staff is friendly and accommodating as well.

Spa Health Land check all the boxes. Great Environment to be in. Great Staff and Great Service with a smile. It was my first experience here and I highly recommend this relaxing Land. Ill be definitely recommending them to my family and friends and others and I will be returning.

TERRIBLE!!on arrival they rushed me in and didnt even ask what I wanted.constantly on the phone and was even left vibrating on my bed during my massage.Im sure she thought I was a piece of timber she was trying to sand down.....very uncomfortable massage and was NOT a deep tissue massage but still charged for it.On leaving they had the cheek to request a large tip,only real tip I could give is get qualified workers and stop scamming people.hope this helps guys

Me and my friends booked a spa day for 3 people, talked on the phone to confirm information and everything was good to go. Once we got there the lady was rude and mean, she told us that we would not be able to be seen if we decided to go all together, she would only be able to see one, which was not what we booked for, they did not call us in advance to let us know about this or to confirm with us. We were expecting something better from all the reviews that we saw. Staff was rude the whole time.

Love this spa. Recently visiting friends back in NJ last week. A friend treated me to a body massage. A wonderful calming atmosphere and spotlessly clean. They even offered me tea and coffee. Pampering at the highest level.The massage was wonderful and relaxing. Taking precautions for Covid was an added benefit. Can’t wait to come back.

Very friendly and congenial staff. Got a couples massage, both were great! Very relaxed afterwards.The only problem was that construction at the new bakery going in next door caused lots of noise and vibrations.

We recently moved to Warren and were eager to find a clean / good spa with reasonable prices. Let me first start by saying, given COVID they have followed every safety protocol. This please is SUPER CLEAN! And the best part - all their massage specialist are amazing. They do a GREAT job. We recently did a group birthday celebration which every single person in the group enjoyed very much! They were so flexible with us changing some of the services we wanted to do last minute. The best part? They provided a cake from Paris Baguette!!!! AMAZING place and AMAZING staff.

Wonderful experience. I went with my sister for an impromptu girls day.1. They take great precautions against the pandemic . Temperature scan and whole body UV light decontamination . Very clean interior2. Very calming and serene atmosphere3. The services were delightful. I got a massage and body scrub package. Chefs kiss4. Everyone was friendly and kindI highly recommend

I felt very uncomfortable. The masseuses didn’t even introduce themselves. People kept coming in while I was laying on the table with my face in a hole. My masseuse kept leaving and coming back without washing his hands and anytime I told him I was uncomfortable he told me to relax. Terrible. I aborted my facial and still got charged the full amount. Don’t go there!!

If you need a day to relax and unwind this is a great spa to go to. I love the Korean body scrubs they give here and my therapist was super friendly and had a great sense of humor. The spa is immaculate and I loved the sauna. I have back problems and my therapist was able to loosen my back and made me feel young again.I highly recommend Health Land. If you haven’t been here you need try it. I know you will love it.

Great massage and atmosphere! I walked in with excruciating lower back pain and got a full body massage. The pain has subsided since. Staff was very friendly and accomodating even though I walked in at a busy time.

Wow! All I can say is WOW!I was greeted by friendly faces, shown to a lovely locker room to lock up my belongings (LOVE that) and then proceeded to have the best massage of my life. I really appreciate a masseuse who checks to make sure the pressure and experience are nothing short of exceptional.I was furthered pampered by an amazing Koehler waterfall shower in a special designed room that stays warm... no getting out of the shower and freezing in a cold room!I ended my lovely afternoon with a mug of organic tea and a great conversation with the owner, who truly cares that his clients have the best.I will be back and I can’t wait to try their body scrub next visit. Treat yourself, come enjoy a royal experience!!!

Received the 90 minute deep tissue massage last week. Overall, the massage was good - the masseuse used hard pressure which is what I preferred. It was about $96 dollars for the massage with a $30 dollar tip. For more inexpensive massage places like this one, its generally more common to tip more than the standard 20%. I generally go to Edgewater where a 90 min massage is about $60 but coming from Basking Ridge, The Health Land Day Spa was a more convenient location/option.The spa is very clean but I believe the amenities like the tea and the sauna are not in use right now due to the COVID protocol. One odd thing was that they do require you to pay upfront before you get your massage. I didnt mind it too much but it may be off-putting for others. Ill definitely try them out again 👍.

I visited this gem for the first time today with my sister and we choose the thanksgiving special. The place looks pretty good from the outside, inside is so nice and they really keep you safe with covid precautions like sanitizers, temp check and in light scan, which is a must now a days to be safe. The special came with a body scrub that was so incredibly relaxing, great room and water temperatures, amazing consistency of massage (I asked for medium and It was perfect!).... followed by a hot stone massage. Every detail from the clean robes and shoes in the locker room to the wonderful hot “sweet tea” at the end was unexpectedly pleasant. My masseuse was named Song and she has the hands of an angel! If you are in the area then you must stop by. Definitely will be back!

I was there with my wife and it was so relaxing. Great place to unwind. It’s under new ownership and highly recommended for self, couples, family or friends. Has a Coffee and Tea bar, sauna, locker rooms, showers, massage rooms. If you like to be pampered this is it. 👍🏻

Exactly what we needed in this area. A real spa with proper shower and sauna, perfect ambience, professional massage therapist and customer service, affordable prices.Loved the idea of the Tea- Bar after. Letting you relax and take in the massage instead of rushing you out like other places. Hopefully they will keep the quality.

Edit: Reposting because my original review, along with other low rated reviews went missing for some very shady reasons...WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Eva (massage therapist) went crazy and screamed at us for over an hour upon finding out we purchased a groupon voucher (why is this the customers problem if the spa does not want to split profits with groupon?). Then the store manager along with Eva, threatened us that we will have trouble when we mentioned that we felt cheated and wanted to call the police to settle the matter. They forced us to pay with cash/credit card instead and return the groupon for a refund. Eva then called me the B word even after getting their way. Unbelievable. If my review gets removed for no reason again, I will keep reposting. Your future customers deserve to know how they will be treated. Go read their yelp reviews for consistent horrible experiences.

This place is supe clean, and i have NEVER had a average, or bad massage! Today i had Rain, he was amazing, got out every knot and was easy to communicate.

Went there and they were closed??? Even tho on Google they say they’re open until late. It’s currently a Wednesday afternoon.

- Last year review: Got the ok to come in twice but end up not getting service because of staff not available. Then dont make me drive all the way there and tell me to wait an hour for next avail. They shouldve call me back and tell me not to come in. This happen twice...first time I let go, 2nd time, I am done. So unprofessional.- November 2020: Went back again, New management. Very very good service 👏. Total redemption. Highly highly recommended. The customer service is A+++

I don’t usually give out reviews but this place does deserve my review. They meet expectations, employees maintain a positive attitude and acute sense of detail. The owner demonstrates adequate communication skills , very considerate with clients. They make you feel very comfortable, they also give you snacks. I will definitely come back to this place . Amazing customer service !!!!

Very relaxing experience. Everyone there is very kind and caring, and overall, it was very nice. The music is calming and the people there are very caring on what is good for you. I have only been there twice, and I already love it very much! I will certainly be back!

I came in today and got a Signature massage, it felt absolutely amazing, I had a stressful day at work and really needed some relief, they also have a sauna room and even beverages and food after you are done. I 100% recommend this place, check it out guys!
