Roxy & Dukes Roadhouse

This place is pretty cool, another throw to the 80s. All kinds of signage, fliers, records and other stuff ( it will keep you looking) . They have a bar and serve food as well. I ordered a cheese burger & fries ( it was okay). There were 3 bands that played Saturday night, the sound could have been better but all and all it was a fun night. It is worth a look.

Fantastic local dive bar with a lot of character. They oft have fun events going on. The bartenders are super nice & friendly to talk to - this is how service should be everywhere you go. It also seems to attract a matching set of patrons - friendly people just looking to have a good time. Prices are also very reasonable. Only suggestion Id make is to get some more good beers.

A grand evening. Decent bar food and quality entertainment at a fair price. We even met Santa!

This venue isnt your corner bar kinda place where the TVs are gong while the bands are trying to play. This is a real live music venue. FINALLY something in this area that appreciates live performances....Great service, decent food and a really nice stage. A great place to see a show. Ive performed here many times. Couldnt ask for a nicer bunch of people to work with. (Try Wednesdays Open Jam Night) .. Kick ass.

This is a really interesting venue. The staff was friendly, the food was tasty and interesting (Gourmet Grilled Cheese is an interesting concept), and the entertainment was spectacular (Dark Circus). Need to go back for one of their belly dance nights.

It is more than your typical bar or restaurant. They have a nice stage that fits a full band. Servers are nice even when its crowded. They have all sorts of music, vaudeville, circus acts. I like how their website is current so you can plan ahead.

Awesome venue for music but if youre the type whod prefer to sit than stand for the whole thing, you better come early. Though, I should note, with them having no type of video equipment for those with an obscured view, you are kind of damned if you do and damned if you dont.Also, prep to have a fan on hand because they do not have AC much less giant fans to keep the place cool.

Nice little hidden gem in central Jersey. Many different kinds of shows, all have been excellent. Come check this place out! Burlesque shows, many different musical genres. I can pretty much guarantee youll find something you like, or find something new and awesome you never knew of before.

This place is well worth a trip for any roadside americana, rockabilly, or live music fans. Jim, the owner, has put so much work into making this venue somewhere he would want to hang out, and actually, I want to hang out there all the time too! The walls are covered in show posters from the beginning of the venu, cool sideshow props, and various rockabilly, pinup,and tiki memorabilia. The stage is one of the most amazing I have ever seen! A lot of thought went into this place, from the prensinium to the beautiful red curtains lining the stage. Its a great venue for variety shows and bands alike. The bathrooms are clean. Theres a smoking patio out front. The prices are decent.I had the spuds covered in meat, sour cream, and other yummy things. The chef has got his stuff down! Amazing!The bartenders are incredibly funny and very knowledgeable. I felt very at home in this venue. I cant wait to go back!

A true one of a kind gem! This place is the real deal! Live music on a fantastic stage with a great sound crew to boot!. Stop in, have a beer and a burger and listen to some true rock and roll! One word...Awesome!

Its a bar/lounge with good atmosphere, loud music, and an aesthetic that could be described as retro carnival-core. If the Joker and Harley Quinn teamed up to open up a restaurant in the 1980s, it would probably look like Roxy and Dukes.

Great music, great ambience, great staff! Many local live acts of varying genres and talents. Roxy and Dukes is the real deal.

Great place for a drink and music, the acoustics make any seat in the house the best seat. Good food too.

I found out they had karaoke from the Karens NJ Facebook page, it advertised 8 pm, the got there around 815, the staff was not very friendly or attentive, when the karaoke dj arrived I asked him about the 8 oclock start and he was nasty to me, I ordered food which was Google, but good luck getting a fork or napkin, very poor experience, would not return

A great little venue. The drinks arent too pricey and the owner is very nice

I felt out of place here. The lady at the bar was not friendly, took forever to get the drink. I did not feel safe here.

If you want a unique experience of burlesque and music, this is the place. Great decor as well.
