Evo Cocktail Lounge & Restaurant

We stopped by for a nightcap on my birthday evening, and even though they were about to close, the bartender, Sabrina, kindly served us. I enjoyed two rounds of Jack and Ginger, while hubby had two rounds of Bacardi and Coke, and we both found our drinks to be satisfying - just the way we like them, not weak at all!Regarding the atmosphere, there was a group of three next to us (already seated at the bar when we arrived) who became a bit rowdy and disrespectful towards Sabrina by the end of the night, which I found disappointing to witness.I dont recall seeing any security present (it was a Tuesday night), but there should be someone in place to support the staff in handling such situations. While we didnt feel personally unsafe at any point, its crucial for people to understand that once its closing time, its time to respect the staff and not cause any disturbances.Overall, EVO is a neighborhood gem within walking distance from us, so we look forward to returning soon.

Bar tender and service were awesome! The drinks were strong and tasty, and the wings were all the way live! The music was great and not to loud for happy hour. My group didnt have to yell to hear one another! So my cousin and I decided to throw our 50th birthday celebrations here!! Looking forward to a good time!!

Came for an early brunch and had a good time. The staff was amazing as usual. We had April (I believe our waitress name was) and she did phenomenal. Constantly checking on us but not in that annoying way. They kept of glasses full which was a major plus. Food was on point. I had the mozzarella sticks and the Steak and Eggs along with the Peach Sangria. A1 service and food. (Forgot to take pic of steak and eggs)

I LOVE GOING THERE ON TUESDAYS THE BARTENDER IS AMAZING I THINK HER NAME IS SABRINA I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DRINK MY FIRST TIME THERE SO SABRINA RECOMMENDED I HAVE A MARGARITA I PERSONALLY DO NOT LIKE MARGARITAS HOWEVER THE TWO STRAWBERRY MARGARITAS THAT SABRINA MADE WERE AMAZING… THAT NIGHT I SEEN HER DOING 8 DRINKS ALL AT THE SAME TIME .. Food is good and breakfast/brunch is best time to go if you ask me. My problem with this place/business is the crowd that attends here. The younger group just dont know how to act most of the time. This is like a major problem waiting to happen. First the young ladies dress with too much to show and then dont want attention. I see it as, when you dress the part, people will treat you that way. If you want respect, respect yourself first ladies. Men also need to be more respectful as well. At times these young ladies can be their daughters. Anyway, I wont be back again unless its early for brunch time. If you check the reviews on here, you get more likes for the lower ratings and no like for the higher ones. That says a lot that people know this place is not all that great.

Waitress needs to be more attentive cause the wait time could have been avoided. She was more focused on twerking and dancing. Parking wasnt too hard. The DJ needs to be fired. Vibe was ok. No entry fee. Drinks was strong 💪

This place is horrible lets start with its extremely small in there its so ghetto in there from the bartenders wearing sleezy lingerie cheap looking outfits with nothing but attitudes disgusting to the people that go there dont know how to act the dj sucks every 2 seconds switching songs the bouncers are a joke especially the female Spanish bouncer whos I would say a tomboy or butch whatever doing the most acting like shes the police making people very uncomfortable the drinks are disgusting very small and overpriced please save your money go elsewhere its not worth it at all

My friends surprised me for my bday weekend and took me here. I had a good time the food was good the service was good. We took pictures in the back it was setup soooo nice. Good music and Ill go back soon to party again.

Its was ok. The place itself is a nice place to hold private events. I wanted to just go have drinks and something to eat and it seemed like a crashed a party and I had to pay $20 to get in the door. However, the food was absolutely delicious. I had the beef mofongo and couldnt believe the taste it was just INCREDIBLE. Good place to get quality food. 👌 If i didnt have to pay to enter, I wouldve gave it a 4 star.

This lounge is litt !!! Good 😊 food good drinks 🍹 and the manager is very nice ☺️ !!! Come here on a Friday night or during the weekend and you will be amazed !!! Also a great bar for bartenders and waiters !!!

Came on a Sunday had a great time. Ceaser was our waiter he was amazing and he made our drinks and they were amazing and hitting. Definitely coming back.

Nice atmosphere . Ok decor. Food was good, you get a tapas, an entree and dessert. I had the buffalo wings, Steak and eggs and cheesecake. Buffalo wings was ok chicken a little over cook. Steak was on point. Eggs was ok. Didnt try the cheesecake yet. But other than that enjoy myself as well as my friends. The DJ was good. And loved the peach sangria.

I came here 3/24 last minute for brunch with my cousins for one of my cousins birthday.We were seated by the door but because my mom is disabled she couldnt sit on the high chair so the manager quickly accommodated us to a table in the back which was more comfortable.The music was really loud but the dj played some great old school jams..we loved the dj. We enjoyed ourself except for a few issues with the food..my mom ordered the bbq chicken,when she got it it was cold,they took it back and brung back hot,but she did not like the flavoring,she did like the hot wings appetizer. A few of my cousins ordered the salmon but they didnt eat it because it wasnt seasoned well.Me and a few of my other cousins ordered the steak and eggs and we had no complaints,it was very good.We loved the brunch drinks and even though it was very busy the waiter did his best to accommodate us even though we probably drove him crazy..lol...all in all its a good brunch spot to turn up at.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. There is a cool club vibe without the huge crowds and cover charge. The music was great (hip hop), food was delicious, service was good and they have hookah! A great spot for a girls night out!

My server was Destiny all three times I’ve been here and all three times she was a pleasure ! She was very attentive to our table and checked in frequently on our party of 6 to make sure we were fine the whole night. They play a variety of hip hop both 90s and today as well as a mix of Spanish music so it’s a great place for all groups of people. Drinks and food are also great.

Love love LOVE Evo lounge. Went on two Thursdays during Happy Hour around like 4-5pm. Its usually slow in the lounge around this time so if youre looking for a space for you and/or friend(s) to have drinks and apps without a huge crowd of people this is the perfect time and place for you.The apps and regular drinks (like Martinis, Margaritas etc) are only $5 dollars and Im in LOVE. Our bartender last week Thursday (4/4) named Corey made this tasty strawberry-mango margarita for me and this Black Label whiskey sour for my fiance and it was everything! He was very attentive and always checked on us to make sure we were alright despite the fact that they had other responsibilities to take care of. My favorite happy hour apps are the chicken nachos and the sweet chili wings.There are two bartenders that will (more than likely) be there during this time; Corey and Delissa! Shes so sweet, efficient, her makeup is always on point (lol), she smiles alot and always makes sure were taken care of. Both of these two has made my experience at Evo exceptional.Love the decor and spacious bar and dining area. Would 10/10 reccomend this place.

Need More waiters to serve you. Only 1 was there and was hard to get his attention because he was attending to others. Food and drinks were good though.

A place that me and my co-workers go basically every Friday. Drinks are good, they have decent hookah, wings are slamming and the staff is very pleasant. Sometimes the music get SO loud but I guess it does turn into a club/bar at night so I cant complain.

Service was slow, didn’t get all the orders out at once but it had good music. The tuna avocado dish was great.

Went on a Saturday, for a birthday celebration for Evy. We didnt eat any food but the drinks were good and inexpensive. The DJ and music 🎶 was definitely a vibe.

Really nice atmosphere good music 🎶 and the lady that greated us was the bomb forgot to get her name 😊 but know this shes a Boss ❤️. The Mac and cheese was everything. Only problem is the server she was not attentive at all she stood around looking, around and thats why she wasnt tipped. I wasnt a man so she didnt feel the need to go all out. Not a problem 👌

Terrible experience. We (my two friends and I ) went last Saturday around like 10pm it was empty about less than 10 customers, some left within the 30mins we were there. Once we walked in the bottle girl let us know the booths(which is the only seating they have for more than two people) were only for bottle service, so we can choose to sit at the bar or the small table. So went to the bar the bartender then let us know we cant sit there so we debated if we want to stay because there was bad communication, which we did we all order drinks and food we asked the bartender if we could sit at the table in the corner back she said yes mind you there is three of us and it empty in the place. So my friend pulled up a chair at the table so that she could sit but then a manger came and took the chair from my friend telling her she cant sit. I could have understood if it was busy but it wasnt and we were in the back of the establishment and the manger could have be more respectful in saying you cant sit there,we cancel the order of food and just finished our drinks and left. We tipped the bartender well just because she was very nice she checked on us after the manger was rude and the drinks were good. I was excited to try but now I do not recommend.

Our bar tender Jessica L was amazing. The drinks were strong and delicious. We ordered wings and th3 nachos tower. A+. Super engaging staff and gracious. We will definitely be coming back!.

This place was a good vibe i went to their ATM to take out cash the 1st time to pay for their hooka and everythingwas fine, but when I tried to pay my bill with my card I got a fraud alert message on my phone from my bank asking if it was me I replied yes and I thought the problem was solved nop when I tried to pay again my card wasnt going through, I proceeded to use their ATM that didnt work either, my friend ended up paying for my bill...the next day I had an ATM withdrawal in my bank statement a withdrawal that I never got from this establishments ATM that was back in 11/05/23, today I received a claim reversal from my bank I called and they proceeded to tell me that the merchant had proof that I did withdraw that money smhhhh I told the banker that they could of used proof from the first time I was able to pull out cash smhhh now my bank account is overdrawn for a withdrawal I never got from this place smhhhh if u go Here make sure you take cash.

Waitress with the wide head and long black hair tried to pocket money even though we ordered stuff. Lounge was boring and music was not much to dance to. They force a $3 fee per person to take your coat and then say you must buy a bottle of champagne to sit at a table ($200+). This place was boring and whack. If you are black, I do not recommend this place. They ignore black people and are clearly trying to steal our money.

This place was horrible. To be told they ran out of silverware and was given plastic was an insult. I am never patronizing this establishment ever. Our server took forever to bring our appetizers and main entre. I have no idea why they thought it was cool making us wait so long. Anyway, I could get into more details but I elect not to. Ive said enough. $45.00 brunch in Parkchester, Bronx with an 18% automatic gratuity was also insane. Thats highway robbery in my book. Ive paid way less for a Sunday brunch and had better service, proper silverware and no ridiculous 18% gratuity. Hope you guys take heed and do better next time for your other future customers.

My family and I came in a group of about 11 for a brunch birthday party. First off the staff was so patient and friendly the amount of times drinks were spilled and many questions asked they still kept it professional. Unfortunately I did not get our waitress name but she was just so nice and attentive. Our brunch package came with unlimited drinks for 2 hours and our pitchers hardly ever stayed empty. The music was so good kept us dancing in our seats & food was very flavorful. We left feeling real nice, full and satisfied definitely plan on coming back!!

The DJ was ok and the drinks was good HOWEVER they were doing some shady stuff. They were charging who they wanted to charge to get in but claim people were giving them tickets but I was sitting right next to the door and not everyone was handing tickets or paying and no I’m not talking about the people that were going in and out the place. I saw from my own eyes. The security and host claim other wise but my thing is, if they recognized the people that were going back & forth then why ask for their ID again. If anything they just need to be researched. Security guard basically said oh it’s the people that was already in there. I asked for the manager and the manager basically said he doesn’t have anything to do with what they were doing and walked off. Not professional at all. The hookah sucked. The girl had to give us another one and our waitress brought us the bill before even asking us if we needed anything else so basically she had to redo the bill since we wasn’t finish ordering drinks. Will never go back again!

This place is racist asl. I went there new years eve and was sitting at the bar for 10 minutes and the Spanish bar tender never looked our way. Another Spanish dude sat next to us after we got there and he got served before us. My friend is Dominican and she literally was the speaking Spanish to the girl and she totally ignored us! We even screamed! All the lack people were in the wack high chairs while all the Spanish peoplegot to sit in the booths and bar because they had “reservations”. I really loved this place but that really turned me off. I will never come here again. That little ugly girl that was working the bar needs to fired. RACIST

I liked the food and the drinks were decent. The food tasted good and was delightfully served. To me the food was as flavorful as Applebees. While the waiters were attentive, they were also very demanding. It makes you feel uncomfortable when waiters and hosts, constantly tell you what you can and cant do as if you are going to take the cash register and leave. I walked inside with my friend, in a jokingly manner, because my friend always fights me to pay the bill, and of course we get shouted at by the host, that we are not allowed to do this. One waiter was nice but started fuming when the guy didnt tip her too much. Maybe he didnt have it 🤔, but you shouldve taken your rude comments to the back of the lounge. The atmosphere was tense and emotional that I was stressed about what I was going to get my food or if they were going to chase me out.

Food was really good , We book for brunch mother’s day . I giving 3 stars only because the server Nathan was not only in a rush but slighty rude . Just because of that I wont come back .

Its unbelievable a Henypinacolada is serve in a 10 onz plastic cup and charge $29.00 dollars not even in a glass. Food its ok.

This little BX 💎 is a must go to! Everything was great, food and drinks were amazing, the only thing I didnt care for was they can smoke hookah here, but it was far enough from my party that it didnt bother us. Go anytime its a great place to chill!

Tasty food & wonderful service. Made a reservation for 10+, enjoyed a nice setting out back. Manager checked on us & heard it was my bday so complimentary drink & cake, with DJ shout out!. Had the sweet chili wings and cleaned the plate. Highly recommended!

The decor was decent but myself and a party of 6 had the worst experience. We attended their $35 per person Sunday brunch. we were the first party there but It took them 15 minutes to tend to us. They offered all you can drink sangria for 2 hours, they gave us the sangria but took 40 minutes to bring us glasses. The server kept forgetting our orders as others came, were served 3 courses and left before we got appetizers. Then she mixed up the orders for all three courses. Our food was trickled in so we didnt get to eat together The owner only offered to remove the cost of 2 meals and he put $15.00 cash in the check book for gratuity (He didnt even come over to apologize). We took our desserts to go. We asked for 1 slice chocolate cake and 1 slice of cheese cake. We open it the next day to find 2 slices of chocolate cake. Needless to say I will never go there again nor recommend to anyone. The one good thing was a Dj named 7 One 8. He was the only reason the place was tolerable.

We got there when they were closing ( hours are different on the web) but the lady at the door was so nice to let us in to order food. We ended up sitting at the bar and having drinks and eating. Great atmosphere, good music ( good mix of music) and clean. Helpful and friendly staff. We will definitely go back!

Ive been to this lounge several times by force. Not my first choice. The staff is rude and nasty for no reason. The drinks are not prepared correctly, they are either bitter or too strong- and over-priced! ts not conducive to an after work crowd. They expect you to stand up at a table that you literally have to pay for - no good. Not the place to go to after a long day/ work week. The bathrooms are poorly kept and not monitored for slip hazards-. The bar is sticky and dirty so are the floors. It would make sense to schedule the staff to come in early to mop the entire floor with CLEAN MOP WATER- and disinfect all tables and the bar - the food smelled and looked delicious but my group was reluctant to order for fear that the kitchen is poorly kept as well.This place is for a young, thuggish crowd- 👎👎

I came to this place today actually i am still here with my beloveds and our server is Abby she is the best. Abby just made my day, she is perfect, she makes sure that you and everyone is great and enjoying brunch. She has been actually one of the best servers that has made my stay in Evo a great experience. I definitely recommend this place and please look for Abby to take care of your stay, you will definitely have a great time. 🥂🍾Their food and drinks are awesome...

Terrible place dont go unless u want wait 3 hrs for a drink. Not to mention they didnt have the drink I wanted and I opted to get the next best thing only to continue to be waiting another 2 hrs than the manager said she give me shots on the house she gave me 1 but than charged me for it because I canceled the drink that I was waiting 3 hrs for. Got there around 5pm ate and still didnt get my drink it was 715 when I gave up for the drink. Go to made in Mexico in Dykeman u will have a better time and drinks. This place only good for hookah the food is okay. The service is super slow and all the staff looks really unprofessional as well. Unsure if all them was high but it sure looked like it . By the way Im a black female so that can also play a part in service when dealing with these Puerto Rican establishments . I was kind and courtesy at all times but just gave up after I was begging for a drink for 3 hrs .

I went for brunch food was good and so were the drinks. The table service was fast and polite.

I am at the restaurant now, I couldnt wait to get home to post my review because the food is that GREAT. I had the Arroz con Pollo, crab cake and for dessert a slice of cheesecake. Everything was well seasoned and the cheesecake was excellent. My server April was very friendly and courteous (Love Her!). I highly recommend this wonderful place. Good music and atmosphere.

Placed an order with them on ubereats not only were things missing out of my order but I put for my steak to be cooked WELL DONE as I am pregnant. The steak came very undercooked.Update: I called the restaurant and spoke to Irene who was very understanding she spoke with Manny and set for me to have my order made and re delivered as soon as they open the following day due to the time.Update: I received a call from Johnny in regards to my replacement order (they were very on top of the matter, which I was highly pleased with) he stated that he would personally be delivering the order. I ordered the grilled chicken with avocado salsa (which was delicious) and they ensured to put everything in my order. Despite the first issue they have great hospitality and did everything to fix the situation. The food is tasty and they will get my business again.

Went early on Friday night and it was great.. clean, professional atmosphere. cozy, affordable and the music was a nice mix of classic and current r&b and hip hop with a splash of hit reggae. Would definitely recommend and will be going again. There was no cover charge, coat check $3- dress code, but not too strict...drinks were two for the price of one before midnight (same drink) and theres even a patio out back for fresh air.

My friends and I went after work for happy hour. It was a nice experience but the prices were not as disclosed on the menus I got a happy hour cocktail that was $5 the waitress didnt come back around for atleas an hour and a 1/2 the happy hour was 5 to 7 and they waited a real long time to give us a Hooka refill. they had drinks on the menu For $11 when we received a bill we ended up paying 52$ for each drink because the waitress did not tell us there was a big or small size neither waa it depicted on the menu. Some menu items like the parrillada didnt bring the items as seen on the menu and was not worth the price we spent 300$+ on 5 drinks a picadera 1 churrasco 1 appetizer👎

Well, ordered a Picadera and the fried pork meat was rotten 🤢, the fried cheese, salami and wings were okay, but the pastelito didn’t tasted good at all 🤷🏻‍♀️ I got a $5 discount 🙄 The drinks where great in taste but charging $46 dollars for a 32 oz Margaritas plus $2 if frozen is off the limits 🤦🏻‍♀️ But regardless of the price they where good, truth be said 🤷🏻‍♀️ Besides all of the pros and cons the music was good 💯🤷🏻‍♀️♥️ Advise as a first time client, get a bucket of beers it seems it cheaper than buying actual drinks 🤷🏻‍♀️

Apparently the ladies can’t wear crop top hoodies as part as their outfit on Saturday’s. The bouncer had us in the freezing cold making it seem like he was going to let us in & then after nearly freezing to death told us that we had to know the owners to get in with crop top hoodies. Said management would give us hard time yet 50% of the people had on hoodies inside, his excuse was that was the friends of mgmt. smh.

We chose this restaurant as a place for repass after my dad’s memorial service at funeral home across the street. The service and food was phenomenal. Manny the owner made the reservation for me personally and staff was waiting for me and my party of 20 and gave condolences immediately. Food and drink were phenomenal. We’ll absolutely be back under happier circumstances.

I go this bar often and I must say that the service is dope. She make sure customers are happy. The food is amazing the drinks forget it about amazing.

Love this place! I’ve become a regular to the point where every time my friends and I go we get the same waiter and she always says “ I know ya’ll” Music, staff and food is great!! You won’t be disappointed!!

The drinks and Dj were good. The security polite and the bartenders very nice. The hookah girl was nice too but the hose for the hookah should have a rubber/ grommet on the end to insert into the bowl and it didn’t have one. This helps to seal in the smoke. I saw other other people with hookahs having rubber/grommet on theirs. I even asked her to bring a rubber or at least help seal it with tissue if no more rubbers were available. Sometimes they get lost I get it. She said ok. She never came back to me but kept walking by doing other things. I asked her again like 20 minutes later and she showed me another hose with a rubber and stated she was going to switch them. She never came back.Didn’t bother getting a refill and left early.

Food was delicious, service was great. Only 4 stars cause the bartender was cute but she was having a hard time making drinks. She didnt look old enough to be serving anything. Maybe she was a substitute. She gets an E for effort. 5 stars it is, keep up the great work

Everything was great. Ive been there for brunch twice and Ill keep coming back. We had the peach sangria and the pulled pork Mac and cheese and chili wings are my favorite.

I ordered loaded nachos which the chips were stale AF , meat didn’t have no flavor and cold . Next I ordered Rib eye steak which didn’t have no flavor what soever and most of it was fat hardly no edible meat. They charged me $34 and the menu said $24 for it. Then I ordered Buffalo wings which tasted like they fried it in old grease . Those were hard AF. Lastly the curly fries were super soft and soggy which also tasted like old grease. Food is HORRIBLE! If there were no stars to rate this place that’s what they’d get. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

So I went to this place on Sunday for my friends Gender Reveal so we had a group seating in the outdoor back area which was nice. As for the service I was not satisfied my food was nothing like what they post on IG my egg was cold I asked for medium well steak they made it WELL DONE. The portion of the food was cheap. The staff gave a hard time with letting us in there was this confusion about time and s***. This is one place I would never go back to. Had to keep asking the waitress for ice like why not leave us a pitcher of ice so we dont have to keep asking for the HOT sangria? How they didnt have no french toast what brunch spot dont have french toast but its on the menu??? Then wait 30 mins to say we dont have it we had to get something else and wait AGAIN for appetizers to come out Smfh. Poor service.

The food was good, the drinks were good, the service was good (especially given the newly adopted culture of sections), the DJ was good and the restrooms were clean. An overall good experience.

Went there for a birthday brunch. The food was not cooked properly and the staff gets an attitude when you point out their flaws. Just for the record, I am really not a complainer when it comes to things not being exactly as they should. I have a wide variance of patience, but I really feel that the staff should be more accomodating. I wrote a review on another forum about this place..their answer was Good, dont come back. Very unprofessional.

Its a very nice chill spot decided to take my wife here for a late brunch. Happy hour drinks are great prices we had the Henny coladas. Was excellent although we thought it was mixed in the colada with Henny we talked to the manager and she gave us both an extra shot. Good food and good service. Staff is very friendly and helpful and making sure we was comfortable and having a good time. will definitely come back.

Evo is Lounge with a good atmosphere and the people that work there is very nice. My food tasted really good, I had mac&Cheese w/fried Shrimp my server was really nice.

I ordered delivery and the food was less than basic. After spending over $60 on delivery I wouldn’t recommend wasting money here. I ordered the calamari the first time they delivered it the calamari was way over cooked, chewy and completely not seasoned at all. They resent it and it was still inedible so I didn’t both to even complain again. The wings were dry and small, the fried chicken chunks didn’t have seasoning as well. The best thing they send was the salad. But serious don’t waste your money here they over priced for absolutely no reason. Zero stars!!!

Food was burnt, we were there for 2 hours and only got two drinks. They kept getting our orders wrong. Or by the time it omgot to us the food was cold. I did reservations for 10 people & did a deposit got there and it said for 5 people. I would never go here again, this place was the worst. They make promises to break them. It was too much. The only thing that was good was the music.

Staff was very friendly helpful and funny. My family rented out this place for couple hours and they made us feel like family. Definitely will be going back there. I will be throwing some more parties. The food was excellent! Just want to give a special thanks to owners and staff thank you for everything. ☺

I went here on New Years with my friends at first it was cool then they just started bugging us asking us to get up from our table for their friends to sit then fool us in buying a bottle to stay at the table but still told us we have to get up and stand the security was watching us all night like we did something kept telling the ladies who worked their to kick us from our table which I did make a reservation and still was trying make us move dont get me wrong they hookah good and drinks are amazing but I didnt like how they treated us and that was my first ever time at a lounge I thought I would of enjoyed it more but instead I was bugged all night by the staff all because they want their friends to sit! Not able to dine in I was sad. Online hours state closing at 1am, I arrived a little before 11pm and was told there is no more seating after 10:30pm. What I really didnt like was the DJ sucked... he played mixed music but a lot of stuff Ive never heard and a little bit of new school some old school some really old school and a lot of Spanish... he did a lot of talking and was mostly talking to a friend that he had there over the mic so I didnt appreciate that. the bottle service girls were okay there was two other girls that didnt need to be wearing what they wore they should have more prettier looking bottle service girls with better Bodies.

First of all coat check is HORRIBLE, and has the audacity to be mandatory. It’s more than one person working on coat check and they don’t know what they’re doing. A couple of people had to go downstairs and get their coats even though we had tickets. Makes no damn sense. There was a fight that broke out and instead of the security guards actually controlling the situation they look like they was just ready to fight. There was one very large security guard who was very rude and was using his authority to be outrageous to people. The drinks are watered down and wayyyy to expensive. Not only that overall it’s a Spanish lounge that entertains and gives great service to Spanish people only. The food sucks as well and takes very long to come out.

Went for brunch... provided with pitchers of drinks (NO GLASSES), ordered appetizers (NO NAPKINS OR SILVERWARE), went to order entrees (THEY RAN OUT OF 4 OF THE 7 OPTIONS)... ordered chicken and rice thinking thats safe... received a plate of rice with 1 chicken wing stuck in the rice. Had reservations for 1:30pm. Couldnt be seated until entire party had arrived: so we were not seated until our guest found parking. Evo has no parking. Upon being seated we were told that there was a 3:45 party after us so we had to be done by that time. So now its about 2pm its takes a additional 10 to 15 minutes after being seated to order our appetizers. Then an additional 15 to 20 minutes for the appetizers to arrive. The place is now packed so getting our entree is slow. We dont get our entree until 3ish at this point we cant finish eating so we are handed to go plates. The brunch came with dessert which we paid for but never received. Evo requires that you put down a deposit down which isnt refundable so as not to lose it we decided to stay. Overall a poor experience if I could give them a zero rating I would. The place doesnt look as nice as on their website. We were rushed and spent over $400 at this place because brunch is $35 per person including gratuity we had a party of 12. Lots of time you want to support local business so you go these places but they offer poor service. Dont believe we would had been treated this poorly in the city. Our server was nice. Update 1/26 to the owner. You are not accommodating me when Ive paid for a service. IT WAS YOUR JOB TO PROVIDE FOR A PAID SERVICE. An accommodation would have been returning the deposit or maybe comping part of the meal. SIR/MADAM OWNER YOU should have have thankful for us staying because your next reservation was at 3:45pm. Also you didnt except our reservation you accepted. Please look up the difference between the two words. LESSON LEARNED. #BASURA #GARBAGE

Took my wife out to celebrate our anniversary, and the food at evos was fresh and delicious. The server was on point. And the service was really good. Definitely deserves 5 stars. And my wife and I will definitely return.

I’m currently here beyond upset about to close my tab. The club is a little slow which is acceptable so early in the night. The service however is horrible and I can’t look pass it . The lady who took our order explained to me in the rudest way we are in the Bronx and there’s no beer then told my friend she couldn’t do a Manhattan......she then takes a card for a tab which is fine we planned on staying and having fun . Ten seconds later a redhead in shorts comes in and asks if we were charged and if are drinks were fully paid .we inform her yes they were and we had a tab she looked at us in disbelief . The same girl came back ten min later and asked us if we were sure and what girl took our card and what was the name on the “tab” . At that point I looked for the girl and pointed her out. She then stood by us for a while and then left . Once I got eyes on the original lady I made sure the red head spoke to her and expressed the rudeness of the red head. I’m now closing my tab and moving to a Better place .

Great outdoor dining good music and drinks but when it came to cut the check they over charged me from $22 to $60 each bottle. I spoke to the General Manager who was professional and told him that his prices are misleading. You need to update your prices accordingly. The general manager was nice enough to offer a free bottle on my next visit. Overall this place has good vibe. Ordered take out through Doordash. I was disappointed the pernil tasted old, the white rice was hard the black beans had no gravy. I am truly surprised whenever I eat at Evos restaurant the food is always delicious. But I guess take out is another story.

I havent been to the restaurant part of Mi Gente but the night club scene is great. Always a great mixture of music from Spanish, Dance, Hip Hop and more. The overall crowd is a bit more mature than mid 20s but they are a great crowd to be with. Drinks are not expensive and bar tenders were great. If youre a hookah type of person they have great flavors and the service is amazing. Refills wont cost you an arm and a leg.I usually come to Mi Gente about twice a month on weekends and I recommend it to anyone looking to have a fun time with friends.

The DJ came through was a bit nervous at first but his music selection was everything you should expect at a summer bbq. Unfortunately I wasnt so thrilled by the food or drinks on the menu. The drinks at the bar are wayyy better. Great vibe all and all I had a great time.

Came in early to see what the spot was like and at 830ish its chill as hell. The bartender whose name I unfortunately didnt get was an absolute gentleman (Latin cat with black bull style nose ring). However, returned later that same night at around 1am expecting to turn up with a crowd, and the experience was a complete 180. Bouncers werent at the door so we had to welcome ourselves passed their (completely unnecessary) velvet ropes and welcome ourselves into the spot. We met a disgruntled male bouncer who looked like he couldnt bag a chick if his moms life was on the line and a couple of studs who looked like they eat tuna fish out the can at Thanksgiving. They immediately made us step outside for an ID check (cool) and pat down (cool also). Noticeably upset that we walked in, the bouncer says I couldnt enter because I had my vaporizer on me. Simply telling me I couldnt use the thing would have been fine (as I had planned to purchase a hookah anyway) but denying me entry was completely hate felt and lame as all hell. I refused and spent my money at a better establishment. Much respect to the bartender I met earlier in the night, piss on the bouncers and owner(s) of this glorified sweat box.

I heard this spot was nice so I wanted to give it a try but was very disappointed. Service is very slow, when I say slow I mean slow. Food was not what I expected at all. Wasn’t a fan of the drinks either, I mean we watched it sit at the bar for 20 mins before it was brought to our table. When it comes to Bronx spots this is the place I wanted to visit for a long time. Ive tasted the food before by ordering online. The lounge vibe starts as soon as you walk in. The Covid restrictions are well followed, masks and distancing is as well as it can be. Decor wise it needs a little help. About the Food, since I already had a pre- conception, it didnt disappoint me. Server was very attentive and always make sure my experience was flawless. This is a lounge more than a restaurant. I will admit however, that this is NOT a place to bring your kids since its a lounge and hookah smoking is very well present while you eat. Will definitely come back, without my kids, because the quality of the food is impressive. The steak is Steak House quality. The sauces and chimichurri are excellent. Great bar with a liquor inventory second to none. With more work in certain areas, EVO will be on its way to become a serious hot spot in The Bronx. Keep up the good work.

Do not even waste your time. The bartenders are rude and stuck up you could be standing there for 20 min before they even acknowledge you. The hookah is now changed to some electronic vape and it’s a waste of $35 it does not pull any smoke AT ALL. Also they give you Dixie sized cup drinks. I don’t understand why you can’t get a NORMAL sized drink in a normal sized GLASS anymore. You’re paying $15 for a hotel Dixie cup that you drink in one sip then it’s gone

Let me start by saying my experience at this place was completely horrid! I Was there this past Saturday for my best friends birthday celebration and let me tell you! we got there a little before 11 and received our paid for bottles at 1 am!!!!!! Completely dry mouth for two hours!!!! Place was overly packed beyond capacity to the point where it was a hazard! Literally no space to get to the bar, bathroom or even dance!!! By 1:30 we took our things and left. If something were to go down in this place many people would be hurt. They definitely violate the capacity limit! The super terrible service the waitress did not pay attention and lasted a long time to bring things, in the end when we asked for the check she was only playing at other tables and she was slow to bring the check on top of that she charged us things that we did not eat or drink because she I was not even aware of what we had ordered. But the food excellentand I did not like that they include the tip already in the bill more than 15% tip with poor service

I brought a package which comes with a table and bottles , i got there and the “manager” a spanish lady who dealt with the tables was handling something with a couple of spanish girls she finished in about 5 mins . I was next she told me to wait and had me standing there waiting for about 20mins while she poured drinks went back and forth and handled other peoples business. Im black mind you and i felt mad discriminated against watching her take other peoples orders . If i hadnt told a waiter what i was there for I probably wouldnt had gotten taken care of & when the manager found out i had a table and she had me standing there waiting she apologized because she knew she was wrong and that was bad for business. The rest of the night was fine but that experience stuck with me.

Celebrated my 23rd birthday there and it was soo much fun. Everyone was so nice. The music is very diverse. Fridays is hiphop and Saturday is latin(i was told) but even so its still diverse. I will definitely go back. A little small but that doesnt stop the fun at all when you have people to get lit with and bottle packages prices are reasonable. Must try!!!

The drunks are good. The good is way to expensive for what they cook. Its a cute meetup with your friends or take bae out to spend time real quick. On the weekend it be a hour to wait for a table. On the weekday its easier .

First to comment, the menu that is advertised on the website is not the menu is given in store. On 9/29/18 I came to Evo with a party of 5. We were sitting at the bar and was told we have to stand after 11pm. After we spent our money on food, drinks and hooka we were asked to stand. I decided to sit at one of the tables and was told they were reserved. After getting into a verbal altercation with security; about the seatingbarrangemebt, I was asked to leave. I have been to several, clubs, lounges and after our spots and I have never had my seat taken away and asked to stand before today. Only in the Bronx you can be in an establishment and be asked to surrender your seat. Will never come back and I don’t encourage anyone to support this business.

I love Evos ive had 2 bday parties and they were awesome. The staff was great to me and my guest the music was on point and the bottle service was the best prices in the bronx . Oh and the food was great. I cant wait until october to have my 3rd bday party at Evos

Went on a Saturday night and this place was packed but I dont know why....its a small place. It looks like a studio apartment and its smoky as all hell. Its got no design to it at all. The website for the place has more style and class then the place. You get a full jail house pat down and yeah...I walked in and walked right back out in 3 minutes not worth it. Thank god I dident pay a cover charge lmao. It would definitely impress any hood rat trash but not someone who actually worked at bars and works in the city.....wow wasted a 8$ uber ride for no reason.

Lol, went we go there around 410... there waitress was confused about EVo flyer on line.....and the chef was not coming until 5 huh? We left definitely not an happy hour spot. Just open at 7pm cause EVo was not ready at 4. Not going back to try. BOOOOOOO Evos is whack.

I went in the afternoon it was very nice the people are super nice and pay attention to you. I had a hookah and shared some food. I got a drink that I didn’t drink and they let me get a different drink without extra charge.

The food wasnt great,my pernil was dry and sitting in a pool of its own drippings to give the illusion of moisture. The waitress was basically non existent,it wasnt busy and yet she barely attended our table.

I was an invited guest in a party of nine..On a positive note I had the salmon and it was good...moist and tasty....I orderered a salad that came with my meal as opposed to before my meal or with the appetizer...the salad was gritty...no time to wash the lettuce?....the appetizers were ok...the service was slow...things did not run smoothly....because of some snafu in the arrangements the waitress offered the host a bottle of liquor in exchange for a tip....we were supposed to have vodka and orange juice...the juice looked and tasted like watered down tang....will not be returning there...

This is a nice lounge especially no fighting and everyone just dancing having fun enjoying each others company.Great variety of music as well.Great place to meet people.

I won’t say much because overall I had fun celebrating my friends birthday but the one thing I will say is If you are looking for good quality customer service this isn’t the place for you.

Food was delicious, drinks was better. Dj waa really good. Music was kinda too loud. Great Brunch.

Sat at the bar....finely🤗🤗🤗 and had such a great time with the bartender Bonesy. Tried something new and went with the Keto burger...DELICIOUS!!!!!

The food is decent at best the drinks are watered down and off brand the service is TERRIBLE, wouldnt recommend

Went for dinner after a funeral across the street... service was terrible..had to ask for EVERYTHING..plates, silverware, water, billBUT I think the drinks were $2...so 🤷🏽‍♀️
