Had a horrible experience! Getting an appointment and keeping it has been a disaster! They canceled on my first appointment and it took the 2 weeks before they could get me back in. So, I show up to my appointment 20 minutes early and they had my appointment set up at the wrong location. I rush to the other location and they tell me they are shorting my time! So, when they asked me if I wanted to reschedule instead and I said yes. They then became very rude! And tell me if I cancel there will be a 50% charge! I’m so angry! I don’t want an appointment at all anymore! I don’t ever want to go! They don’t care about there customers! I just want to cry I’m so frustrated!!!!!!
I had a prenatal massage booked for today (2:30pm). I had to remind the receptionist to get me forms to fill out as this was my first visit to this location (although I do have a membership with Massage Envy). It took her a few minutes to get those to me. After I filled them out, I had to go back out to let her know that she did not give me the pregnancy release forms. She stated that it wasnt noted that I was here for a prenatal massage, and that is why she did not have the forms and it was lucky that my therapist can do it. Odd, since I booked the massage specifically as prenatal and the the confirmation call stated a prenatal massage. It took her a while to get me those forms, stating their computers are slow. I pointed out to her that we are 10min into my appointment time and she said that it is fine and that my massage therapist will make up the time. That was not the case, my massage therapist finished on time (3:25). I let my therapist know and she apologized and said no one at the front desk told her. I also let the front desk know and I believe it was the manager that apologized and left it at that. I told her that a 1/5 of my massage time was not provided and she stated that they are now under new management and that their policy is that whether it is the client or the therapist that is late they will stop on time. I told her that in this case it was the receptionist and that she said the time would me made up. Again she apologized, but that was it. Nothing else. To say the least, this is extremely disappointing and I will not be back to this location.
Showed up early for my appt. My massage guy was 15 minutes late. Made an excuse for not doing my massage. Receptionist confirmed he was wrong but I didnt feel comfortable doing the massage. He seemed to not want to do it like he was tired or hung over. Very bad experience.
This was my first experience at this spa. After an awful day I decided to treat myself to high end pedi, yay! I called Massage Envy - El Cajon for an appointment they had an opening, yay again! everything in LB was closed already to my dismay. The directions the call center gave me were awful which caused me to be late and almost miss my treatment! PLEASE get this right guys, there is nothing worse in a spa situation than arriving late and not being able to enjoy the amenities, one star removed for that! Sylvia stayed late and took her time with my service, my toes looked great, the heated pillow around my neck was just what I needed and she dimmed the lights for a while, I really was able to relax despite the getting lost drama. I have paid the same amount of money in high end nail salons that are store front and there really is no privacy or relaxation and I always feel rushed, this place was quiet, peaceful, clean and although I was late (due to no fault of my own!) I got my entire service, shout out to Sylvia! Bonus that they did not discuss clients in front of other clients, happens all to often at other salons! I will be back, this will be a new ritual for me.
I can honestly say this is the best place ever to get a massage. I understand life happens, and we have to change therapist every once and a while. Totally understandable. I just wish the membership would cover more massages. Lol I hate people that complain for every single thing like the posts before. If you dont like it just go somewhere else!
Been going here for years, have always had wonderful service. Theyve recently had their ups and downs due to new ownership... But I have to say I just had the BEST relaxing massage ever!! Youve gotta get Tristan, hes aMaZiNg... Unfortunately now, I have to go to work when Id rather go take a nap LOL 😄
I love Jennifer at the Lemon Grove location!!! Shes incredible!!! I was in a bad car accident and she has saved me... Best massage Ive ever had.
Never gotten a great deep massage. They dont know how or dont want to work hard. Would rather pay more to get what i want and need.
Gotta love this place! It’s THE only place I truly get stress relief. That’s when I can get there. Front staff amazing and my therapist is super.
Went for a facile and all they did was apply stuff and wipe it off. Came out with clogged pores and still had black heads. Would never go back or recommend it.
Trying to get someone to answer the phone is a nightmare. If they do answer you may be placed on hold for 13 minutes and get disconnected. Sometimes there is no one at the desk. Gone to Facilty Just for it to be locked with no one there on multiple occasions.
Not sure how to schedule a service here since no one picks up the phone and there is no answering machine. I have tried calling the past half hour on 8/10/16 and got nothing but the busy tone after several minutes of waiting and calling multiple times.
Called another store and found out the owner closed without any notice. Sucks as next closest location is Santee.
