Ibiza Nightclub

Love this bar! Good place to drink and feel safe and accepted. Most of the gay people hang out on the second floor lounge for all the people saying there’s too many straight people which I don’t see as a problem anyways. If anyone acts homophobic staff are quick to see them right out the door!

The actual club is nice—I loved the outdoor areas, drinks were reasonably priced, service was decent, and the majority of the vibes of the other patrons were good. I’m just putting a warning out there for all the other queer girls who look a little too “straight” that there were dudes lurking in the corners waiting to hit on/pickup girls. Not the bar’s fault by any means, but it did prevent me from being able to relax and I ended up leaving earlier than planned because it kept happening, and a couple were a little pushy. Just giving a heads up that it wasn’t quite the environment I was expecting, but maybe that was just this one night who knows

This is Wilmingtons only gay club. High energy dance and drag shows. The crowd is young. Lots of college students. Stay for a show and let Tara Nicole Brooks and Malaysia and others provide top-notch female impersonation.

I’m typing this as i’m leaving the clurbbbb. Ibiza was giving 2000’s realness. YES it’s 18+ ($20 if you’re under 21) The drag shows were amazing!! i loved the latina mamiiii!!! It was pretty crowded but nonetheless my girls and i made it work, yes it was hot af but i feel like that’s to be expected. The people at the door were very welcoming and polite, i’d definitely revisit on my next vacation 😝

Nothing gay about this club, People forget why gays use to have their fun spot to enjoy and make new friends when so many people died from AIDS om early 90ies, right now people go to gay clubs thinkkng we are a joke and have no clue why gays have thier spot, such a shame ! leave straight people take control of this place I was literally hearing people talking shot about gay people on the bathroom……. being honest …. Such a shame !

It is a gay bar in name only now, went on a Friday night and there were probably 5 straight people for every gay person. Sad to lose our spaces

Great space. Fun dancing, though DJs could read the room a little more. Cant believe there isnt free tap water... Thats just common bar courtesy and caring about people enough that you dont wish alcohol poisoning upon them.

My experiences have always been above and beyond. Bartenders are very knowledgeable and helpful when you just cant make up your mind on a drink. DJs are always willing to adapt the music to the vibe of the people and keep them dancing. Great location, massive venue to explore definitely makes this my favorite club to hit up when outing with friends on the weekends. To top it all off they stay open till 230 to allow you to finish your drinks!

I LOVE everything about Ibiza and while the employees are all great, last night a staff member went above and beyond. I was on the dance floor having so much fun until the heel on my shoe broke off. I thought my night was over Well, when the security guard saw me walking all uneven, he had me sit on the couch in the lobby and asked if he could take a look at my shoe. He disappeared (with my shoe and heel in hand) for about 10 minutes and returned with the heel attached and my shoe as good as new. Thanks to him....we continued to dance the night away and had an incredible time. I did not get a chance to thank him....so thank you thank you!! What you did may seem small...but it was huge to me!

Awesome night club in Wilmington. Two different bars to order from, elevated surfaces to dance on, and a disco ball? What else can you ask for? The vibes were immaculate and drinks were delicious. $5 cover charge to get in. Plenty of seating available when you need a rest. Definitely recommend if in town!

First time coming and it was great. Honestly better than I expected. There were two bars downstairs (inside and outside) and one up stairs. The music was ok but eventually grew on me. Definitely will be returning in the future!

With exception of the marines they come in and start going crazy ! Just wanna go in feel great enjoy a few drinks but then they show up and act nuts so we just leave early or just go elsewhere .

10/10 recommend. This is not only a safe space for all but a great time! Love the drag karaoke on Wednesdays! There are multiple levels so everyone can have fun without committing to a certain vibe. Dance floor/courtyard/upstairs lounge/pools tables and more

The only gay club in town with alot of mixed characters.Saturday someone always falls down the stairs. But beware of a local man who will touch your crotch even if you yell to stop and will fall on your friends. When i told his gf that he had to much to drink he tried to puch me while i was sitting down in-front of a bunch of witnesses. I begged security to make him leave they followed him then said hes a local so they cant really kick him out. Saftey is not a priority here. Druggings and date rape will happen be close to your friends security will not protect you. Had to invite a girl to our table who was getting dragged out by a crackhead. I used to love coming here but the way they protect regulars even if they are clearly in the wrong is disturbing.

***Side note, I recently lost my wallet here and was able to recover it using their chat feature on Google! Its saved so much time not having to replace all my credit cards, Costco card and driver license!!!! I cant thank Ibiza enough!!!!***Ibiza was fantastic with the cleanliness and friendly staff. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who visits Wilmingtons nightlife. Drinks were reasonably priced and bartenders were great! Atmosphere was so much better than most.

Front door is cash only whereas back door can accept card. $5 cover fee if over 21, but $20 if under 21. only a single bathroom upstairs, and 3rd floor was closed. there was a pool table and small balconies

Amazing Club. and owner Daniel. Fun and diverse people and music. Everyone in party had a great time. Drinks are affordable as hell!. Massive place to get up close and personal. Great staff, dance floor, stage, balcony, patio, multiple bars and sexy people. Guaranteed fun. Wilmingtons finest!

This club has gradually gone from being a safe space for the LGBT community in Wilmington to being completely taken over by people who are not LGBT over the last 6 months or so. Several people have made less than favorable comments about the drag queens and I don’t feel comfortable dancing with my partner there anymore. I also wished they played a wider variety of music and not the same songs from tik tok all night, every night. It’s extremely repetitive and the excitement to come here knowing the same music will be played has dwindled. It’s also way overcrowded and gets insanely hot on a regular basis. This may be a lot to place on one club but as the only designated night club for the LGBT community from what I can tell, I expect a lot more than what I’m getting. On a positive note, the bartenders are awesome, the drag shows are a highlight and the staff/security as a whole are incredible with making sure people are safe. I’ll come to Ibiza every once in a while but not as often as I used to.

Being a new resident to the Wilmington area I was excited to try Ibiza for the first time, (last night) Well, only cash accepted at the front door, $5 entry fee, but at the back door cards are accepted, $10 entry fee. Was told at the back entrance $5 if you’re over 21, I’m 45, and $10 if you’re under 21. The front door personnel’s attitude was bothersome and rude, the “female” (I can see you are transitioning so I don’t know your correct pronoun) was condescending. Terrible format for applying for a membership. The back door staff barely spoke or even acknowledged I was there other than taking a payment. Drink prices are good, club was clean. Bathroom doors do not lock (single use bathroom upstairs) Music was dated. A promoted 10:30 drag show never happened. Sloppy drunk people by 11pm? Maybe I expect too much but I wouldn’t go back.

Ibiza is just amazing!!!!!! My daughter turned 18 yesterday and she had the time of her life! Daniel at the door helped us get in and basically helped her have her most magical night thus far. She is already wanting to go back. I highly recommend you go if your looking for the best time in Wilmington. Dancing, lounging inside or outside, pool table, something for everyone!

Drinks were good and they were busy but the music choices was terrible. Not really playing relevant music at all. & if I’m gonna go to a club I’m gonna wanna dance.It’s just remix of songs repeatedly..

First time at Ibiza, karaoke night. Spencer was the literal BEST bartender I’ve ever experienced. So attentive. So sweet. I’ve literally never met a kinder soul. And I’ve never left a review for anything ever in my life but because of Spencer’s service, I feel the need to reiterate how incredible of a person/bartender he is. Your experience at Ibiza will be the best night of your life if Spencer is your bartender.

Amazing place! Staff and management are very much on top of keeping everyone safe during this pandemic. Staff is always sanitizing areas, tables, chairs, handrails etc!!! Also it being a Private owned Club they are requiring your Covid vaccine card for entry which I am ALL for!!!! Keep up the great work!!!!!!!! I’ll definitely continue to come support!!!!!

Stay away if you are 21+ and up. Insanely hot and crowded, as is expected when you allow teenagers in. Old men are weird and should go somewhere else. One word to describe it would be trashy in my opinion. Wont be back, but to each their own. Edit: Stop charging for water when people are designated drivers, completely ridiculous

Went there past Friday and they asking you for your COVID-19 vaccination card which they are not supposed to ask you and against the law and it’s a HIPAA violation and privacy...! Might as well ask for people status and see if they’re HIV and AIDS negative on top of that..! 😒🙄 Too top it off they charging too freaking high $25 dollars to get in wow.. They must be hurting to charge this much for a small place. At this rate they never going to get they regular customers back and the place was already empty before midnight. Not going to have business asking for people Vaccinations Card and charging to much for entrance and being rude at the front door! We are supposed to help our LGBTQ not overly charging them. What if someone couldn’t get the vaccination because of what was in it and are allergic? SMH

DJ was good, drinks reasonable.Very small venue and absolutely no organization between staff. Had my full beer tossed in the rash because it wasnt in my hand but on the tabble I was at. When they get busy its like watching a chicken with their heads cut off.Hold staff meetings, get on same page.Have staff ask people near drinks before tossing.This place has potential, but as it stands it needs work.

I thought this was a good placed to go until we checked our bank statements and saw how much they overcharged us (and blatantly lied about how much they were charging.) We were told cover was $5 with $1 membership fee. We were charged $27 for too people and my friends were charged $36 for three. This is completely different from the receipt they gave us. They literally stole money. Dont go there if you dont want your money stolen!!

I hate this place so much! It is such a toxic environment :( They overcharge you for drinks and little did they know i wasn’t even the slightest bittipsy! I had 3 drinks and a shot over the period of the whole night and somehow that added up to 60$ im not quite sure if they drinks are made of liquid gold but im pretty sure its mainly mixer anyways :( Super upset! I feel robbed! On top of all this my male friend got roofied by the bartender since we never saw his drinks being made!! Ridiculously priced drinks of horrible quality! If you ever make the decision to go here, definitely drink before you go otherwise this place will break you, emotionally and financially!

At first I thought this place was great. That was until we started realizing that mens drinks were made behind the bar so they couldnt actually see it being made. Where as womans drinks were made on top of the bar. 2 of my friends got roofied and to top it all off, my friend used his debit card for 1 drink and checked his bank statement and 510$ was taken from his account from the club. Definitely will not be returning there.

First time going to club and had an amazing experience. There was a creepy guy that kept bothering me and the bartenders and employees there made sure he didnt bother me the rest of the time. Thanks for the support!

After attending the PC PRIDE Block Party, I enjoyed being with my good friends Steven. All the best music to dance to in the Port City. Packed dance floor and wonderful drinks, reasonably priced. A great place for a great time.

It is a fun place to come. Different drinks from other places nearby.A few issues though.1) it seems the the same exact music always being played. A change, could result in more people/variety.2) its open 2 nights out of the week. If this place had better hours and DEFINITELY more days open, this place could seriously BOOM in business.3) the beverages have way too much alcohol vs mixers (although some like this) but its bad for the business, and can cause people who dont drink often to have a bad experience with it. Basic bartending skills are not monitored and managed.4) the drag shows are fun, many people really love it and get Into it. But its just bad business to only be open 2 days, and have to shut down the dance floor twice each night for the shows.If you had one night for drag and one night for the people, more people would go.5) it is an alternative lifestyle type club, but again... Bad business. To gain business and sustain that, you need to appeal to everyone. Designate different days for different demographics and lifestyles.I have been a LOT. I will continue to go.Just wanted to throw out a few tips to the owners, staff, customers, and future customers.-this from someone that toured with John Taffer, and toured as a mixologist to help failing bars and night clubs.

The decor is pretty good, they do a great job of keeping a place updated and modern. The staff is friendly enough, and Id give the overall sanitation of the place a 5 considered what it is.And gripes I would have would be more in reference to its patrons.

Nice club nice theme but the music was not it, you can’t ask for songs and all the ones they played had the same beat, don’t get me wrong the club is great but it’s not really multicultural no Hispanic music :v

Amazing staff and security, this place is an awesome, I couldnt feel more safe, great drinks, music/ entertainment. The management couldnt be more accommodating. Thos place really makes you feel like your in Ibiza, Spain !!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌈

There is a transgender girl that works the front door there who claims to be an owner and dictates who can and cannot come in beware she is just the person who works the door and in now way shape or form is management. she is rude, condescending, obnoxious and clearly has a chip on her shoulder.

Wilmingtons nightlife doesnt match up to what it should. That being said this club takes the cake as the best dance floor in town. They serve up a consistent product: a full dance floor, solid electro house, and more freaks than youll know what to do with.Dont allow the label of gay bar to deter you, Ibiza always manages to fill with a diverse crowd of beautiful faces - straight, gay, and everything in between.

The best nights are Wednesday and Friday because everyone shows who they truly are and it’s so much fun to be around!!

Love this place! Around 12ish is when the crowd starts flowing in and the dancing really starts. If you and you’re friends are looking for a club to dance all night at, Ibiza is the club.

Music got lame after while with all the same beats, not very many people dancing. Nice layout but I would not recommend if you want to go for dancing and fun

The door guy started dry humping me from behind without my consent. I went there again cuz he stopped working there. Then one of the guys there grabbed my arm and another guy groped my chest. Poor security.

Many people here. Good music and very good dj. We dance all night with no trouble. I like this place very much.

Question regarding your plans for social when the club is reopened? Alcohol and this virus is not a good match. Are you requiring everyone to wear a mask? This is why I dont support you to be able to reopen until there is a vaccination

Do not even waste your time going to this place. Staff is awful and they rude. Lost a phone in there and they say they get returned but when ask to look they said they didn’t want strangers wondering the building. Also lost it on a Saturday and couldn’t get in contact with them until Wednesday. Couldn’t even get in contact with them the whole time and no one would answer the phone.

I love Ibiza, as a female I always feel safe and the employees are very observant. Very much appreciated
