Massage Envy EDH Charges More. Ever feel a service provider or contractor upped their fee because you live in EDH? Exactly my experience at the Massage Envy in EDH. I checked their website, which lists introductory pricing for 30-minute ($46) and 60-minute ($80) massages and called to book my first-time appointment. I was told that the EDH location does not offer the cheaper 30-minute massages, so I booked the 60-minute massage.Massage was fine, but upon check-out, I was told that the price was $130 because the EDH location chooses not to honor the introductory price. I was not informed of this higher fee when I called to book although the manager claims that this is their store protocol.I did go back to the Massage Envy website, and it does say (in fine print): “Introductory pricing not offered at all locations.” As you might suspect, other locations (including the Folsom location right down the road) do offer both the introductory pricing and half-hour massages.Obviously, franchise owners can do and charge what they wish. However, we EDH residents can choose to patronize other locations which offer the full service options and less-expensive pricing promoted on their website.

This Massage Envy is delightful! The front staff are always welcoming, friendly, and offer to get me a cup of water. I’ve been seeing Lisa for prenatal massages which have been wonderful and help me so much. She is friendly, compassionate, professional, and I always leave there feeling better. Other staff that I have run in to have also been extremely kind and check up on me while I’m in the waiting area. The atmosphere is very peaceful and the facility is very clean making it such a welcoming place!

I got there yesterday and the receptionist looked like she had a cold. I was new so she used a tablet to fill in some information and then gave me the tablet. She saw no problem with this.I was introduced to Patrick for the massage. He was personable enough but I came in with no neck pain and a day later I still have it. My mildly sore back is now much worse. This is a day later. He knows nothing about massage. He went across muscles most of the time instead of with them. He focused on signal spots till the tightened into a knot. The only massage that could be worse would be an admitted sadist. Nothing he did made me feel good or better. NOTHING for an hour. Ive never had a massage that didnt make me feel better.At one point he asked for feedback. I gave it. He went right back to doing what he had been.Update: I got a survey from them asking how it went. I replied with the information above. 12 days later they got back to me with basically: too bad, want another massage. Soooo, the incompetence extends into the management.

I love this massage envy! And my favorite therapist is Amanda. She’s phenomenal. I deduct one star just cus it’s a chain company who significantly overcharges… but I keep coming back for my specific therapist cus she’s the only person who actually makes me feel better!!!

I slipped on my butt & tail bone. Literally, I could hardly get up from a sitting position. I was I. So much pain. The next day, I looked up massage envy in El Dorado Hills. They have 30 minute massage to relieve the tension. I had it done at 9:00am and by 1:00pm I could walk and bend over with very little discomfort. I highly recommend trying it, my therapist was Patrick.

Easy booking and wide range of services to choose. Prices work for me and I feel great. Thank u!

Great! Facials great! Massages by anyone! Competent front desk that knows what they’re doing and actually answers the phone and checks you out quickly. I’m grateful this place stayed open during much of the pandemic and is finally becoming easier to get into once people go back to their home locations that went stupid during covid and shut down.

This location is the best I have utilized over the years of using other locations. My only wish is that I would like to hear less loud chatter and laughter in the hallways during my session.

I would have loved to have an experience, unfortunately I called 3 different times and left messages. They never responded. I went in and they gave me a lame excuse. I ended up going to Folsom

My bad experience had to do with privacy policy, and I know a lot of people dont about that, so please note that my family also told me of the creepy sales tactics and pushiness this location used to pressure them into subscription.My experience was pretty terrible out of the gate, and if you want to recreate it ask them about the privacy policy! Reception was not prepared in the slightest for such a basic question, and whoever their admin was let me know how annoyed she was by trying to wait me out in their office, printing the privacy policy for their website from double-sided along the short end, thrusting the printed document at me wordlessly, and lo and behold its not even the right privacy policy (the one for the website is not the one for their sign-up).This is all after they tried to get me to fork over all information just to see the sign-up privacy policy, COMPLETELY backwards!This as opposed to, right down the road, another tech-bro-esque massage parlor that was at least ready and willing to have me read their privacy policy before I filled anything out; or, even better, the several NORMAL massage parlors in the area that arent trying to force you into a subscription or shoving an iPad in your face. Just go in, pay, get a massage; now doesnt that sound nice?

Dont expect a 60 minute massage. Youll only get 45 or 50.no more.

I had to give it one star I didnt want to or I wouldnt get to comment...now i know why Massage Envy got sued about their membership. becuase my husband and I are going through the same issue with our membership..we been trying it cancel our membership for the last a year and half. in order for us to cancel and be able to use our points we have to our acct open. dont make since at all and how can we use our points. when everytime we cal to book an appointment. nothing is available at all times

The staff in the EDH location are amazing. They always take great care of my husband and I. The new online appointment application makes it very easy to book our favorite massage therapists.

So hard to get an appt, poor communication, frequent cancellations with no explanation, they won’t schedule more than a month out.. no online appointments. Won’t set up recurring appts.

Best massage ever by Lindsay!!! She really knows how to find all my tight spots. Feel like a million when Im done. Highly recommend a massage at ME.

I am from Southern California and was glad to see an ME close to me, the front desk staff grated me with a smile, and I was very well taken care of. I renewed my membership for a year!

Favorite one of the natuibal stores. Best services and servicirs, with akways pleasant front deak staff. Clean, sweet music, rarely has anyone to start kater than appointmebt time.

I had my elbow dislocated by a massage therapist here and when I finally spoke to the owners, after three promises that they would contact me and didn’t, she said “Well what do you want me to do about it?” I cancelled my membership that day.

Ive never had a place call me 15 or 20 minutes before my appointment time and cancel, and for some outrageous reasons.

Always a great place to get help relaxing! Male and female miracle workers are very professional, and make me feel confident and at ease.

My favorite of the several Massage Envy locations Ive visited. Exceptional location and staff from the moment I walk in until the door swings closed behind me.
