I went for the drag brunch and it was a blast! The performers were so talented and playfully interacted with the patrons. The food was excellent and the drinks were so delicious. The service was amazing. I can’t wait until their next drag brunch

Awesome spot to get drinks and listen to music. They always have great DJs playing on weekends and week nights - the times I’ve been there have been pretty decent trance/techno/tech house dance music. It is clean! Bathrooms are clean! Drinks taste good, and are not super overpriced. You can also order some food for around $8 - tacos and nachos etc. People here have a friendly upbeat vibe

This place over charges you with drinks, first round $10, seconds $14, after that $15 each drink last drink $16. I was totally confuse.All those prices for the same drink lol

Bartenders give a look and test you out how much they want to charge.first I asked one of them home much is what I ordered. Then... They take their portable device and look at you and then decide how much to charge you. . They look upset with everyone, I wonder why. What do you call this. BAD Customer service.

Pattern bar is a Great bar in downtown la. I have always had a the best time when Im there. I go at least once a week on Sunday. They play the beat electronic music 6 days a week. The people are very top notch and high class. The bar is also super nice always clean and has great staff. Its definitely scores high in my book & all together a great place to go with friends always free with never a cover charge

Chalk it up to “not my scene,” the music is way too loud for such a small space. It’s not even enjoyable to dance to at that volume. If you love small bars that you have to shout at each other to hear or step outside, this place is for you! Food is ok, drinks ok. Music choices, solid meh.

SCAMMERS!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I walked out without closing my tab and they tacked on four extra drinks plus a ridiculously high tip. What should have been an $11 charge became a $44 charge. Thats a 400% increase! They have no morals and will use any opportunity to screw you over. DO NOT TRUST!!!Not to mention the music had terrible audio quality due to bad speakers and glass walls.

Although small, this place is awesome. Amazing bartenders who can handle intense crowds surging in (like from bar hopping events that come and go). Live music on the weekends really sets the vibe and turns the bar into a big communal party!

The service was fast and it was a friendly atmosphere. They have DJs there throughout the week which makes the experience that much better. I highly recommend this spot.

Its a friendly, cozy spot in the middle of DTLA. If you love house and techno and tacos and great drinks, its a place you must not miss! Ive met some great people on the dance floor. Usually no cover. Go see Froy, hes a great bartender and pretty cute as well!

Cool little joint. Been here for a few events, And its overall a good space for it. Its on the smaller side, but not unusual for a downtown location. Pretty cool setting, but as for the bar, its like any other bar. Decent drinks at your standard bar prices. I do like that it is a very open air setting, so it does not get as hot as other places with the patio door open and the front door open.

Pattern Bar is our go to home bar. Best house music hand down in DTLA. Big shout outs to Omar at front he always has your back.

Really great bar. DJs playing utmost best interesting B-side music that will make you groove. They also have an amazing Chopped Salad. Chill relaxed Atmosphere with dancing involved after the sun sets. New ownership bit still a great place all around.

Been here for both happy hour and late night dancing! Fabulous each time - bartenders mix yummy drinks and music was fun. Appetizers were also delicious. Highly recommend for any time of day!

My partner and I stopped in for a drink around 8pm after an early show at Orpheum. It was hard not to notice the shoddy construction/decor/fixtures everywhere. It looked like they need to just take a day to give a handy-person and cleaner a full pot o coffee and just go to town giving the place some much needed attention. Drinks were so-so. The person who waited on us was friendly and did a fine job, but you could tell the rest of the crew were waiting for the place to transition into night and DJ to get there for the crowds to start showing up and giving them something to do. So in the meantime there was loud socializing of staff at and around the bar. Seems like more of a low-scale nightclub vibe where folks just come to get drunk and dance and dont care about all the broken and disheveled things. I know this comes across at a negative review, but we enjoyed our moment there. I think I was just on a different vibe and this place definitely serves its purpose for the party scene.

Unnecessarily music is to dam loud in the middle of the week when knowbody is ever here!! I just wanted to have a drink and tacos in peace. Dam the music is loud. Id get it of it was Friday or Saturday.

Super cool ambiance with big windows throughout. Nice priced drinks Mon-Fri 4-7 p.m. Deviled eggs were off the hook. I dont wanna spill the beans but it has House music and dancefloor at night!

Pattern bar essence cannot replicated. I’ve been an Angelino all my life and it’s great to come to a bar where they pay attention to details on their food, music culture, artisan vibrations.

The food and drink was good and well priced for downtown LA. The service was not fast, but not slow. Perfect date night speed to let conversation happen before ordering. The menu is a good size with clever names. Id go back when in the area again

We were out on a Friday night here (7/22/22) and like any other Friday night, we were enjoying drinks and the music. Whats different this time was somebody somehow bypassed the security at the front door entrance and it was mumbled by other patrons that someone from the outside started shooting there gun into the crowd inside the bar. A stampede ensued, everyone rushed to the end of the bar in the midst of confusion and I wasnt sure what was going on. It was later discovered it was supposedly a BB gun, but in the heat of the moment, a gun is a gun. The security out front didnt even look phased while the patrons inside were clearly dazed and confused. Everyone left still confused and anxious of what had just happened. Until this place starts patting down everyone before entry and beefs up security in this part of DTLA, I will not return.

Dj played really good music. I really enjoyed it but the bartenders were way under my expectations. I asked for a Moscow mule and the bartender poured dinner vodka and then some ginger beer on top. He didnt even make the effort to mix them. Completely ignored the rest of the ingredients 😂

The manager Eduardo Portillo was super rude. Unbelievably awful experience being mistreated by him, he swore at us and was belligerent toward me and my friends. I can’t believe they let someone who will shout slurs at customers work here.

Small, divey, old, punk, and rock. One of the best dive bars in my opinion in Hollywood, where bartenders can be themselves which is always great. Great spot to start the night, end the night, or both, jukebox as well, stiff drinks, and everything you expect at a dive bar.

Great neighborhood bar with a nice selection of food and drinks. They have a $5 drink box that has some good creative choices in it if you are not looking to spend a pretty penny. The bartender Ezekiel is very friendly and stirs up some fantastic cocktails. We will go back again and again.

This place has watered down liquor. I Watched them pour every drink. Looked heavy, tasted like water. Every time. Tried 3 different drinks. Whiskey coke, vodka soda, whiskey soda. Was laughable. You can’t fill a glass halfway with Jack Daniels, then taste no Jack. Jack is terrible, thus your drink should taste terrible. Caramel colored water is what I got. Check it out for yourself. Maybe I’m crazy. This place could be cool. Friday night was packed. Decent crowd. Decent DJ. I just have a problem paying 10 bucks for a terrible drink. Order a beer. Can’t fake the that.

Open, airy and intimate bar located in the heart of fashion district. Bonus point for tying in the theme to the location :) The interior is well designed and Im digging their logo.Chill hipster ambience at night time. Their signature cocktail drinks are named after famous fashion designers, i.e. Dior, Chanel, McQueen!Im rating them for the bar scene, never had their food. The bartender/cocktail servers were attentive and quick with getting our drinks.I love unique, well-branded places with a strong concept! Def a place i would recommend to people. The location is surrounded by other bars, which is great when youre ready for some more adventures after downing some Jacobs and Herreras.

Came here with a few friends after a long day at Anime Expo. The beer selection was good and the staff is awesome. But when you come here, you have to try the Bambino. It is the best pastrami sandwich I have ever eaten and now every other pastrami sandwich is going to taste bland for sometime.

I have come here a few times during my trips to LA and I always get the pastrami sandwich, it is heaven on a plate. The meat is perfect while the blend of meat juice and melted cheese soaked in the bread makes it the best pastrami sandwich ever. After eating it I cant enjoy another pastrami sandwich for two weeks.The pastrami sandwich also goes great with a beer (which they have plenty of).

Service is meh, but I did like that they had a DJ playing some pretty Sunday-friendly sounds. Had a drink here and left. Id return, but not go out of my way to visit. I did notice that the food looked good, but I didnt have any food. Maybe next time Ill try their food.

Met with some friends after work to try and catch happy hour. It looked like there was only 2 bartenders, but it wasnt crazy busy . I stood at the bar for like 10 min waiting to be either greeted, acknowledged, or to have my order taken . None of the above happened .I returned back to where my friends were sitting and said I perfer to get a drink somewhere else .It only took them a sec ( with the same bartender) to close them out and he still acted as though I was invisible . Because of this I feel like his actions were because I am black .will NEVER come back.

One of the best new places in DTLA that combines a beautiful classic ornate wood bar, live music with as yet unknown, but incredibly talented musicians, great craft cocktails and delicious small bites that make this more than a gastropub.

Local neighborhood spot with cool neighbors. Good food, good drinks, with great bartenders. Large patio doors that open giving the feeling of being outside without being exposed to the elements(nothing worse than having your napkins blow away). Walking distance to many hotspots in DTLA.

Theyve usually got a few very tasty/creative cocktails on the menu. Space is nice and open, tho everytime Ive been there theres been a pounding THUMP THUMP THUMP of house music. Tolerable, but leaves me wondering if its any chiller during the week or daytime?

Come for the techno music, stay for the eclectic vibe. The DJ is great and the dancing is too. I went on Cinco de Mayo, and the crowd was dancing with mini piñatas. Really enjoyed my cocktail with fast service as well.

Walked 15 mins to get here. When we walked in, it was dead and the girl asked if we were going to have a drink. We said yes and she said there was no one there to serve them. She didnt know where that employee was. Make up a lie. Restaurant is losing business. Where is the owner or manager to fill in??

Pattern bar has an array of delicious of cocktails. Open windows and ample parking if you keep your eyes open!my favorite of the drink were the Chocolate, mixed with strawberry chunks and a stick of cinnamon.Fancy drinks with fancy names like YVES and so on!

Nice ambience and drink selections. Good for a lounge during popular sporting events. DJ and dance makes the place a good meet up for casual chill out evenings.

Cool place. with some nice decor. I was here a little early, so maybe when the scene is in full effect is cool. However the crafted cocktails were nice and pricey so, for the crowd that is ito that scene I think this is a solid stop.

Always a great stop if you are bar hopping in downtown LA. They have DJs and dancing every night. One of the original and still best house and edm bars in all of LA.

I went there for happy hour. The service was a little slow, the food wasnt that great and the price was high for what it was(3 tacos with no choice of toppings and a meat platter $ 21 dollars. The Chanel was great( a drink ) it was $12 dollars . $33 for one great drink and mediocre food isnt something I would do again. The bar is beautiful.

Great place and specially if you belong to clothing industry. Music was right volumed so people can talk to each other. It was a great experience and would definitely go back.

Awesome vibe! Need more security outside the bar due to outside traffic on 9th St or move to a more secure location. All and all the bar was awesome and banging sound system!

Good spot to drop by for a few drinks. Can get crazy loud, but that is par for the course in any bar. Its only an issue if the DJ lacks in taste, but thats up to you to judge.

When this place is on, its on. Happy hour on weekdays is great. Food is delicious and cocktails are on point. However, staff can get stretched thin on Sundays.

You will know why i gave 5 stars when you go for yourself. If you happen to like HOUSE music then you prolly already been. I love the vibe which is 25 to 55 industry types. I wouldnt say trendy or hipster but maybe hybrid of the two with Burner Blood!

Boring Techno-type DJ that had tracks with one note rhythmic sequences, trying to sync them as if he was ....a Real Band. Martinis were small 2 oz little champagne glasses. Very small room.
