My favorite place to go out. They have free 2 step and line dance classes on Wednesdays with a spacious “donut style” dance floor. Their dance instructors, Lisa and Hugo, are excellent and patient teachers who love what they do. A mix of 2 stepping and line dancing throughout the nights. They have a private party room as well as special tables for events. They also have a spacious outdoor area that allows smoking and food served in the evening. Look for them on IG or FB for events and on Wednesdays to see what line dance Lisa will be teaching that evening.

Great calm atmosphere. The prices are fair, music is good and not one of those clubs with young people getting to rowdy. Its the spot to enjoy a night out with your significant other. If you enjoy country its definitely the spot to go to.

Nice large dance floor. Offer free lessons on Wednesday nights. Bartenders are friendly. Great drink specials. The lady who checks your ID at the front could make an effort to smile, say hello etc. Having a high energy happy person greeting customers can make all the difference in a business like this. The DJ plays a few good danceable songs but mostly old country that no one can dance to. We are happy we found this spot and have only been twice but look forward to returning and giving a 5 star review some day.7/12/23 We have been back several times since this initial review and we continue to enjoy our time here. Last night, we played billiards and participated in the line dance lesson. So much fun! The music was excellent last night. Everyone there seemed super happy and friendly and the vibe was just right. Also, they have menus on the table to order from a local Mexican restaurant, the owner of which is there to take your order. We ordered the chili relleno burrito that I am now completely obsessed with. The drink special on Wednesdays is $2 well and beer all night. Win win win!!

If you were into country music in the 90s, this is a great place to dust off your boots and dance moves. Our bartender Nicole was quick, friendly and very knowledgeable about mixed drinks and shots. The DJ, Mike, was very receptive to our music requests. This was a definite return to place for a country flashback, along with todays current hits.

Great country bar. Fast drink service. Bar tender was amazing. Outside seating was very clean and comfortable. Huge dance floor. Fun to watch the line dancing.Will definitely be going back. And Friday’s are free admission for military 👍👍

Very large space, clean and new. My wife came back and said very large and clean restrooms for women. Drink specials. Covered outdoor patio as well as uncovered large patio. Great job!

Wednesday nights they offer dance classes and the instructors are great! It’s not too packed, there’s a good amount of attendance, the classes are currently at no additional cost, there are great opportunities to practice your moves, and they usually have some drink specials.

Advertised 8 bars for the Mimosa event on July 17th. They had only 3 bars, one bartender at each with at least 400 in attendance. Waited over 30 minutes to get our drinks. Less than 3 hours into the event they were out of 3 flavors for the mimosas. Poorly planned. Sucks. Dont waste your money.

18+Was a $15 cover for under 21.Restroom had many stalls and clean.The date floor is kind circular so... that was an experience.Seems to be more of a country type and beer drinking crowd.Very beautiful dance floor set up and helpful staff.Would recommend if youre into country music and dancing

There was three of us and they charged the man of our group to pay to get in and not me and friend (women). They gave no explanation. We all had valid ID’s. And they didn’t make the people behind us pay anything to get in.

Great environment. Country music is great mix of old and new. Plenty of room to dance, several bars so there is little wait time to get a drink. Great bar and staff is also great. Bathrooms are surprisingly clean. Recommend to anyone looking for a friendly environment with a great bar staff.

This was my first time here. The staff were very friendly and courteous and the mixed drinks were not watered down at all! The dance floor is unique and in a true racetrack pattern which fills up pretty quickly on popular country songs as well as popular line dances! Other patrons were kind and respectful making this a great place to bring a true lady out for a night of dancing if you are lucky enough to have one!

Good dance floor but definitely geared towards an older crowd. Theyll make you feel out of place if youre young in there. Definitely rude to anyone under 21 and will stare them down the entire time just to make sure theyre not touching any drinks. May as well just make themselves a 21+ bar. For the same cover go to Little Bit who actually respects the 18-20 year olds in your group

This used to be a great club for a good time, this is no longer true. I believe that the music selection and the extreme volume could be the reasons. The DJ needs to evaluate whether the music being played is what the customers like. Also, Loud music does not equate to good music.

This place is very nice and clean, but the DJ is not the best. Too many slow songs for a Friday night. Reasonable drink prices. VERY DEAD ON A FRIDAY. Max people today 8/17/19 18 people. Ricky Ds please get a new DJ! I love this place only because of the drinks. Wake up and raise the energy. Unless this place is for the geriatrics....

My new favorite bar. Great layout, tons of space, smoking area protected from the elements, womens bathroom has fourteen stalls. Great music, of course, but also a fantastic amount of room to dance. The tribute to the military on one wall nearly had me in tears.They also carry pickle juice for chasers, which puts them above the usual in my opinion.

Great place for dancing country music. The dance floor is plenty big with room to accommodate lots of people at one time. Old style country dance floor reminiscent of the old Dallas night club. Staff is very good with 3 bars to handle your drinking needs. Drink specials throughout the night and you dont feel cheated. Now why just 4 stars? Location, location, location! Its a bit out of the way to get to, (distance from freeway and mainstay hotels) so that might be an issue for people out of town. A good mixture of older country music with the newer stuff and plenty of line dancing keeps the crowd dancing, but the sound system could be better. Overall a great place to enjoy a night of fun dancing.

Been waiting on a refund or rescheduled event for over 2 YEARS!!! I message them about every 3-6 months to ask but they always say it’s still going to be rescheduled. 2 YEARS!!!! Won’t ever go back to this trash establishment. Doesn’t help that the place is a mess and the bathrooms were always disgusting.

We had a diaper shower for my wife last night. It was great. Service was awesome! Eddie the bartender took care of our party, he was excellent. Music was awesome! Just a good time all around. We recommend Rick Ds to anyone that asks.

Love the place. Went my first time and just love it. Cant way to go again. It is huge. Hardwood floors, coat check, slick floors, private bottle service room with hand remote leather chairs. It is the bomb....loved it...now where are the Cowboys to dance with. 5 stars for sure...

This place is the worst! I purchased tickets to a show they were hosting. This show was cancelled due to Covid, which is totally understandable and beyond their control. However, 8 months later this show has not been rescheduled while they host other shows. Numerous request for a refund have been ignored or deleted from their social media platforms. They are quick to take your money for concerts but will not refund if cancelled. They are thieves and have terrible customer service.

I’m very impressed with how nice the bar is. The floor is kept in amazing condition, it’s rare outside DFW I go to bars where they care about it and put effort in keeping drinks off it. Great job!Second, the staff allllll are hands down friendly and look out for your best interest. For example, tonight the managers noticed I was getting shot down dance request after request, I’m new here I get it...they went out of their way to line me up dances and I got exhausted finally! Nowhere else you find that service.Finally, the dj plays great songs and not too much of the hip hop at one time, he spaces it out appropriately. Being I visit 30+ bars a year to dance, I know you need hip hop segments, but 15-20min every hour or two is plenty to keep people engaged, other bars in area will play 1-2hr segments and that’s enough to run off the dancers.Overall great experience and I will be a regular while doing hail repair in town! Thank you!

False advertisement!!!!! Came here for a Mimosa Festival and paid $30 for 3 mimosas and a shirt. The mimosa’s barely had any champagne with my janky plastic cups of orange juice. (Clearly no where close to the advertisement’s photo.) Also the advertisement said 8 mimosa bars and they only had two. A third one opened after an hour of being here. Takes an average of 35 minutes to get orange juices with the tinge of champagne. Gave this place 2 stars only because the bands were good.

I used to enjoy this place, but why in the world is it so hot in there?! There is no air conditioning and this is second time in two months we try this place again. Please fix your air, seriously.

Too much reserve seating, there was no place to sit. The music played was mostly old school country. Not an optimal place for people wanting to dance to new country. On a positive note, lots of space and plenty of bars to choose from. $5 cover for guys which is kinda sexist.

Can’t find a negative for this place, it’s like whiskeys but bigger and a better crowd. Rickey’s is for the crowd that doesn’t want to be surrounded by rowdy kids. Great HUGE space on the dance floor and pretty much everywhere else, plenty of bars, very fast and friendly staff, the patio space and the food trucks they bring in are great.

Mimosa brunch was an interesting experience. The food was in a different building. You had to go get it, then bring it back to Ricky D’s. It was more of a club with pre-paid drinks. Nothing wrong with that… just advertise it that way so people know what to expect.

Great place for country music.. 3 bars so no need to wait for a drink.. has plenty of restroom for the ladies so no need to wait in line. 😂👍👍...nice crowd and great square/center dance floor. $5 cover fee for the guys.

Used to like it, had potential, service has gone out the window. You can tell the staff is unhappy. Its lost its luster somewhere. I was drinking with my wife and I overheard a couple of employees talking about how pathetic its become and how they dont expect it to stay open much longer and that the owners dont know what thier doing. Its a shame. Place needs an overhaul, maybe the owners need to hand it over to someone else. Guess its back to Whiskeys.

Great to have a new place to dance but they’ve got to upgrade the cooling system. You spend and evening dancing and end up overheated. Great atmosphere, excellent music and fun dance classes.

Drinks specials on this Sunday were $2 bloody Marys. Cody makes a mean spicy bloody Mary. Tecates were $1.50, $2 domestics. Country music good variation between old and new. And regularly have dance lessons scheduled on Wednesdays and Sundays 8-9. Except for holidays. Its a nice clean environment, the patios inviting very relaxed atmosphere. Pool tables in the back. 5 bars and a spacious dance floor. This is bound to become a great hangout. But tonight it was an el paso hidden secret.

Looking for some documents I found some tickets I bought back in December 2020. For a concert that was canceled due to COVID. Never got a refund in response I got tickets for other events that I’m not sure they took place because COVID. Where my money went who knows. Where is my money 💰

Nice bar. THSA held a private party at Rocky Ds. They had a line dance dance floor. There was instructors there teaching the Texas two step. Fun atmosphere!

Place is nice if you love country, ample room to dance, the music is great. Cant really complain about this place ..older crowd too, which is good or bad depending on your needs.

Ricky Ds had awesome service in every area. The mange Coty reserve a spot for us even thou it was last minute, bartenders were very nice and helpful, DjRick Olivas came over and asked for song request. It was a great evening and we will be going back very soon.

Very nice place clean and up to date. Reminds me of the old Dallas night club on Lee Trevino but no fights. Perfect place for a night club, next to the police station so expect a good crowd not a bunch of thugs.

Have been going since they first opened and all I have to say is...I LOVE IT!!!!! The djs have kept us on the dance floor every time we go. It is great to see and spend time with our friends that have become family. If I could I would give it ten ⭐

Personally I have been enjoying Ricky Ds now that DJ Ivan is part of the group. Like the song goes...I was country, when country wasnt cool. He plays music from back in the day. He is now there on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and Fridays DJ is keeping up with what DJ Ivan brought to the table a couple of months ago. With time, word will get out. Build it, and they will come.

Pretty good size venue. They play a mixture of genres to cater to anyone. My buddy tells that this place gets packed on Saturday and concert nights.

Large, plenty of bars decent prices pool tables and darts, smokers patio is nice.

We had a good time. They also have a good happy hour. Get there early because most of the tables and chairs will be reserved for parties and you’ll be stuck standing.

Great music, great drink specials. Servers are very polite and are always on the look to make sure you are taken care of.

The dance lessons with Lisa are beyond awesome! she is a beautiful and Genuine person who can dance blindfolded thats how good she is. Ricky Ds should have dance lessons on Fridays.

I caught them selling me none alcoholic drinks. Never going back again. My tab was over $100 and they still decided to try to stiff me on a few $2 special drinks. Not a business I want to spend my money on.
