Went to dolce for the first time to see a grea8gawd show. Definitely a whole vibe up in there. Love the setup.Didn’t eat the food, but I saw a lot of people eating food that looked good. They all appeared to be satisfied.I had to wait a while at the bar while the bartenders walked past multiple times and didn’t say anything. Some were working, others were on the phones not paying attention smoking vapes. Kinda annoying but whatever.Got a Long Island, it tasted good but was kinda weak. It was only 12, but I would have payed more to get a stronger drink.Overall, seems like a great place and would love to come back soon to see what their menu has to offer.

I just wanna say this is a real laid-back place to have fun eat drink and PARTY. Also I would like to shout out to the staff for all that you guys do to make it happen everytime. THANK YOU

Yaz at the front bar was amazing. She has great customer service!!. She made sure I was lit for my birthday. I will definitely be back just for her !Pam is also sweet

Ive been coming to dolce for years. love the vibes and the drinks. Yas & Mel are the sweetest and kindest bartenders and they always get me right. their prices are affordable and youll always have a good time

The space in the back is beautiful. However, you can tell almost instantly that it caters mainly to a younger crowd. From being served drinks in plastics cups to plastic forks and knives. When I asked for real silverware, the server came back with another plastic fork 👀.The music was obnoxiously loud as if it was more so a nightclub then a lounge/restaurant. I couldnt process my own thoughts thats how loud it was.They didnt gave a drink menu and every drink I asked for they didnt have the items to make,such as a Mai Tai. 🤦🏽‍♀️The upside is that the food tasted really good. The appetizer of caprese, the tomatoes were sliced way too thick and the basil wasnt finely chopped so the presentation was bad.The stuffed shrimp pasta was delicious but the pasta looked like a plate of vomit. Excess sauce and no attention placed on plating.The NY strip was supposed to be medium, it came out well done. It was seasoned well but tough to chew.Overall cost wasnt bad. If management focuses on the kitchen, picking better music and real silverware, the place could be a gem.

After waiting 5 minutes for the bartender to finish talking to her friends, I get handed a menu with no greeting. Then back to the conversation with her friends. After another 5 minutes I just gave up and left. So I dont know what the food tastes like.

I wasn’t going to leave a review at all because of how much I love dolces and along with the amount of time I’ve been coming here over the years but after this past weekend I had to. My experience this past weekend with service was bad. My food came out cold, drinks were weak and my server came back to check on me 1 time smh. When asked for extra napkins and condiments the server brought them back with an attitude. I never complain about auto gratuity but that night I should have. Maybe we came at a bad night idk. Good thing the hookah and the music was good

Lee & Yas are the best bartenders there. Great drinks and service. Definitely will come back.

Went for happy hour just had a few finger food items…Yaz was excellent great customer service…drinks were good (thanks to Yaz :) The Philly cheesesteak empanadas was really good which she also recommended is a must try. Overall Dolce is still a hit.

Got the crab stuffed shrimp and pasta dish and it was fabulous! Pricing varied from menu to computer ring up with extra cash add on. So the menu said $24.95, it rang up $25.95 with their own placed gratuity and computer tax it cost $32.51. Also ordered the Dolce burger which the burger was not the same size as the bun, it was smaller with about 15 fries on the plate. Definitely loved the atmosphere.

I have been to this place many times in the past but this is my first review. I would love to give this spot more stars because I know one of the managers but I cant. So I walked in and told the girl that I had reservations and she told another female server to walk me back. There was a little confusion as to who was taking me back at first. The lady proceeded to walk me back to my seat and was training someone or something so she stopped to dump ice and walked to the side behind the bar which was confusing to me. I had to ask her while I was waiting was she taking me back or not. She said yes then finally walked me back. The seats outdoors was in an alleyway looking area and the rest was on the side of the building. They did their best for what they could. The service with the one female was fairly slow and she told me at the end she was covering for someone which still was no excuse. The lady that was supposed to be our waitress came towards the end and was super nice but she came as we were about to leave. I ordered a pinot nior and bolognese pasta to go. My friend had garlic shrimp and a drink as well. The food and drinks here are really good I must say. Just the service was mediocre.

The brunch food was average but the customer service we received from Yaz was amazing. Pam also was very nice and made sure we received great service.

You have to come out on Thursdays and have Yazmine the best bar maid ever serve you. She welcomes you with this bubbly personality. She makes sure your time spent here is enjoyable.

Atmosphere is always a vibe .Always my first spot when I stop in town . Ms Pam and Nick always welcoming . Bartender always go above and beyond with service . Definitely a place you wanna stop by and hang out .Montana the hookah guy well definitely make sure your hookah is bussing .

1st time visit, got there early so it wasnt crowded. Food was tasty and the portions were on point! Great music and overall vibe. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Held a party there got a VIP and they had the nerve to charge my party $40 a person. Unorganized. My bottle girl never came back to refill our juice or ice. Never brought out the cake until the crowd left. If it wasn’t for my family and friends $650 would’ve been down the drain.

When I arrived, the price was $30 to enter the establishment for a birthday party. The workers at the door couldn’t decide if the admission should be 20 or 30… so they hiked the price up at the door… the way the workers were acting when receiving the money, and the side eye contact conversations, made it feel like they adjusted the price at that moment… I would’ve turned away, but I was there for a friends birthday party…sometimes supporting black owned businesses can be upsetting because they over charge for everything and the service sucks…The shots were 15 dollars and 30 drinks? The waitress that was suppose to be working our table, had a party of her own going on, so we had to run her down when we needed juice or ice or something for our table….That’s insane in Elizabeth nj to me!!!!….…..I’m not supporting any business that takes more than they offer!! I won’t be back!! $30 for a hood bar, $15 shots? And the presence of danger because it’s in the hood…Nahhh I’ll turn on some music at home and enjoy my own company!!! Parking is a mess also….maybe I’m just done partying but this was not worth coming out for, except to enjoy my friends evening with her…it wasn’t about me, and she had a good time, they’ll be leaving a review as well

Yaz was absolutely wonderful! 10/10! Highly recommend! I came in from Alabama and she treated me just like home !

My daughter had her 40th Birthday celebration here.Nick and all the staff were personable professional and gave attention to detail from start to finish. Words are inadequate to express. I would definitely consider having another event here.

Food is good, quick service. My daughter enjoyed the ribs and mac and my husband enjoyed the smoked wings and collard greens. My salad was good. We would definitely return next time we are in D.c

We attended and event honoring a friend of ours that passed away it was a celebration 🍾 of life the venue is great staff is friendly, food and drinks are on point, music was good it was my first time there but the wife frequents them during the week for afterwork after parties good place to hang with friends and unwind

Party was wonderful!Food was terrible! Catfish cooked on outside, not cooked well inside. Fish was mushy & they put some type of NASTY SPICY SAUCE (that i did not ask for) on my fish. I ask for tartar sauce! Then the tartar sauce they brought me was the worst Ive ever had!! At that point i had them take it ALL back (Fish & Cold sweet potato fries). I just ordered something else. Very disappointed!!

Went to Dolce this past weekend for an event and the dj was great, staff was nice and the drinks were on point. My bartender Donya’ was AMAZING!!! She was very welcoming and took her time waiting on my friends and I. I made sure to tip very well because you don’t always get service like that when you go to certain places. Her positive energy was greatly appreciated and I’d definitely go back.

Mondays here are the worse you have to come before 5pm or u will be waiting for your food for 3 hours which is crazy everytime I come here it’s the same experience and the girls are all over the place

Venue facilities and atmosphere is very warm, comfortable, and clean. Unfortunately, it took a long time for the bartenders to attend to us; so they should consider to hire at least two more for bigger capacity events. The music was on point as well as their food was delicious 😋

I decided to give them a try again w/ my boyfriend tonight & something has to be said at this point. I hate when I go out to spend my money and gratuity is automatically applied ! The waiter was terrible nobody check up on the table . Literally had to call to others so they can call the person that was helping my table. When I walked in it was empty . The body guard was standing there after finish checking our ID. He didn’t know if we were to be seated or can walk straight to the back to sit anywhere. The CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO TRAIN THEIR STAFF . THE GIRLS ARE JUST STANDING AROUND ON THEY PHONES BEHIND THE BAR, ON THE FLOOR . My server came to the table ONE TIME & that was when I had to ask someone to call whomever was serving us. They forgot about the desert which is part of the brunch. After I reminded the girl about the desert. She come back to me to say they didn’t have anymore chocolate cake . This place is a BIG JOKE. Work on your staff delivering QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE BEFORE YOU GO ADDING ON GRATUITY TO EVERY BILL!!!! Save your time people. WONT BE COMING BACK HERE EVER AGAIN .

Excellent spot for any occasion! We decided to go here for girls night. The vibe and food were amazing! All of our food choices were each flavorful and delicious. Reasonable prices and good music.This place is a must!! You wont be disappointed.

Took my sister her for her birthday and we had reservations and was a few mins late but they was very accommodating and the staff were soo nice. the food was soo good. The drinks omg amazing. The bartender was moving but she ain’t miss a beat with us. I would highly recommend if you looking to do like a private party or something the cost wasn’t expensive at all and they played all the jams. I had a great experience. Will definitely come back again. Shout out the DJ too. They was getting it I could hardly sit down he was playing everything !!

This spot on has a semi-hood/semi-family vibe. Its super cool. The bartenders are nice. Never had the food, but I enjoyed the music. I dont smoke, but hooka on deck. Overall a really nice chill vibe. Hood but no shade vibes. Security real strict and check everybody at the door. Exit, no re-entry.

Came for bottomless brunch from 3-5:30 we were only served twice. Service was terrible and the brunch was buffet style which they should advertise. Giving two stars because the cook had some decent dishes.

My husband and I just tried to have dinner here, and I was very inappropriately felt up by security. Full cup of my breats without warning. Just went right in and grabbed me. This is not normal behavior. Ive been through plenty of security in my life and this was insane. After I complained they told me its normal so we left. Ladies! Avoid at all cost. To normalize this behavior is beyond words. She used a wand on my husband so I dont understand why that couldnt be used on me.

Okay so I’ve never been here for the night life but I’ve been here for the food. My favorite appetizer is the voodoo calamari, which is sweet with a little kick of pepper. Coconut shrimp is also great and the jerk wings. I can never complain about their drinks. They’re always nice and strong lol.

Wish I could give this establishment 0 stars went here for brunch after waiting 2 and a half hours for my food they bring out the main course first and then the appetizer I’m allergic to mushrooms and told them I don’t want them and they still put them in my platter said I had the wrong order brought me another and had mushrooms still I asked to speak to the manager and was directed to a bartender who said she was the manager followed by another who said she was followed by another one with that being said this establishment is a joke and highly suggest everyone stays at Away from it at least for brunch

I love grabbing lunch or an early dinner here (before the crowd comes) Best dirty martini in town!! The bartenders are always friendly and personable. During the early afternoon there is a happy hour. House drinks are about $4-$5 tap beers are about $3 & there are food specials. During the day the music is relaxing and you get an overall chill vibe. There is street parking in the front and parking in the back but beware its super tight in the back so be careful.

I came with a party of 5 on 03/19/22.This place was not a good experience for my friends and I. We asked for a refill of water and that took over 1 hr. Food took over an hour to get to the table. I ordered jerk quesadilla and southern empanada and they ran out of the empanadas so I had to order my second idea The Fried Calamari. It was average. Nothing special about this place other then the music. I wish they were more accommodating and that fist fights between the staff would not occur.

Good thing I came during happy hour. I had the southern fried chicken. Its usually $17 for 3 wings, some Mac and cheese, and collard greens. The chicken was horrible, and the mac and cheese was horrible. Definitely not southern style. The collard greens were great. However, the platter was worth every bit of the $8.50 plus tax I paid for it. At the regular price, I would have been mad. The service was good too.

EXCELLENT STAFF & ATMOSPHERE!!I dont do clubs, I went for a birthday celebration. The security staff were professional, the bartenders/ servers were friendly, classy and BEAUTIFUL!! The vibe was all that! Oh and the place is clean. Id go back.

I like the food at Dolce. I would give 5 stars if they did not judge me when I come to the restaurant/lounge. Four times, I have gone to Dolce to get something to eat. I had no problem on my first visit. On the second visit, I had to go to the bar to get service. On the third and fourth visit, I was asked why I was there. The waitress gave good service though. On the fourth visit, the waiter/waitress gave me the impression that they thought I would not pay my bill or tip. I paid and tipped. However, they have to work to not prejudge.

So MYSELF and seven other ladies travel to this restaurant on Saturday from Albany New York, Poughkeepsie New York, Washington DC, and Virginia and the service was absolutely terrible. Although we had a reservation we did not realize that 11 minutes before 8:00 when I told the waitress we were going to order I was informed it was to late. We were told that we had to leave because they needed to turn the table over for another group and I said we are not done eating and they said that was not their issue they had to accommodate other guests and I said but were already here and they said that they did not care and I promised to place them on Yelp I will never ever grace that establishment again it is awful it smelled the workers were doing hookah and taking shots during work hours very unprofessional. Also when we arrived we notified them that we had 2 more people in our party they were very rude and given a kiddy table. When we asked could we get a matching table they returned with a dirty table and I had to then ask them to wash it. I also spent $90 for 3 hookahs that I was made to turn in less than 30 minutes later as we were put out. DISGUSTING!!!!!! Terrible service and leadership I wish I could give you a negative 0 as a rating. Do better people. Never have I EVER been treated with such disregard.

Definitely was a fun experience I will say. Reserving is a must! The hookah lasted awhile, food was speedy and delicious, and the dj had a good vibe and watched the room for what people were dancing to. Coming back is a must.

I liked it when it was the Red Parrot 🦜. The food was better, but for a lounge theres better places in town. Its an ok place to grab a drink with friends or to just kick back and drink. Although, if your looking for a place to go grab drinks, dance or just chill at the bar, theres definitely better lounge/clubs scenes in Elizabeth.

Its good as a night club. Food is blah. Went on the 50% off Monday deals. Ordered, well, tried to order the seafood bowl, but they ran out or had no shellfish at all! Waited all while for another order and yet it came out warm, almost cold. Bartender/ waitress was rude When I asked whats taking the food so long, she replied I dont cook. I bartend. Wow, yet you are taking orders.6.17- havent eaten at this place since that last review. Had to go cuz of my girls birthday. The bartenders were fun and attentive to us as a group. Like I mentioned previously the place is cool as a club night go to and bar drinking. Food is not its fortay. Had shrimp and grits. All cheese on bland grits. Menu said side of mango salsa which they forgot to add and when it came, it was all beans. I sent it back and ordered the shrimp tacos. The Spicy Mayo was the only flavorful part.6.18- I dky my girlfriend insists on coming here. Now thry got bartenders misleading customers on their prices. They got the menu with one price and the bartenders charging something else🤦🏽‍♀️

I only gave 4 stars because of Yass she was really the best waitress/ bartender she made the whole experience worth it but I’m sorry the shrimp and broccoli Alfredo really had me nauseous after.

I have come here several times and while the food and drinks are always amazing the service is pretty much always atrocious. The most recent time it took an entire hour for us to get our first round of drinks. When we ordered seconds they just never came so we got our check and left. I hope the service is somewhat improved the next time I visit.

I enjoyed the front sitting at the bar talking to the grown sexy women. The back is for the club goers that wants to dance and show off. As long as theres respect amongst each other, trust to have a great night at Dolce.

Great place bartenders were very friendly. Would have gave it 5 stars but they had this young dj who couldnt dj on Wednesday kept leaving the dj booth and just didnt know how to blend music together.

Parking is the only issue. Its only street parking. But its worth it.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I’ve never experienced such a lack of restaurant etiquette before. Came here with a few friends, most of us paid with card (mind you there’s a $30 minimum which I’ve never heard of for a restaurant) and one of us paid cash. Before my friend could receive her food and take a bite the waitress rudely walked over and asked her to pay her bill (with hurrying hand gestures included). Much to our disbelief we were all in shock as 1. We’ve never been to an establishment that asked for payment before actually eating and 2. She stood there and waited for her to give the cash which made all of us very uncomfortable. We asked to speak to the manager and he condoned her behavior instead of rectifying the situation with a simple apology and explanation of their procedures. Safe to say I won’t be coming back to this place ever again. The fact that I’m leaving this review in the first place says a lot considering I never leave bad reviews.

Im a regular at Dolce so of course Im gonna give it 5 stars . Food aint bad especially on Half Price Monday, the bartenders are cool (Shout Out to Mel and Priscilla as well as the rest of the bar tending staff ) and the vibe is always good .

Their food is terrible, please dont eat here if you dont want to get sick. I want to give them 0 stars, I ordered a burger and the meat tasted off. I told the waitress and they brought me another one just the same. Really? And they made me pay for it even tho I didnt eat it. On top of that it was my birthday !!!! Worst night ever.

I really enjoyed myself here. Social distancing was in effect. Masks were being worn by workers and patrons when they walked from one plave to another. Food is great and drinks are good.

The food is good. The music and drinks are good. But we waited over 4 hour for our food. Kitchen staff short handed. Been a here a few times and Im very surprised about the service.

Terrible, bad service took hours to serve us. Hookah lady acted like she didn’t understand English. Mouths left dry with no water. Made us feel unwanted, too much attitude.

If I could give 0 stars I would! They are horrible! not enough people working and everything is excuse! Food quality is bad as well. I wish I would have listened to the bad reviews. I go out a lot and customer service yes they took the items off the receipt but it still was a waste of my time.

If I could give it less than one star I would, this establishment is that bad ! The service was beyond subpar to say the least. I’ve never been to a place that before you even take a bite of your food the waiter is standing over you begging for you to pay for your food, on top of that everyone that I was with (total of 6 people ) ordered at the same time and everyone’s dish comes out 10-15 min apart from each other, including one of them being incorrect (they brought a vegetarian Mac and cheese with meat in it after assuring her there would be no meat). Needless to say none of us will be returning to this place especially after speaking to the manager who not only dismissed our concerns but continued to make excuses for his rude staff member. Save yourself the hassle and go ANYWHERE else.

My boyfriend took me here as a surprise and it pleasantly was! We both love to try new places and have been searching for a mature spot to relax and enjoy it over a good meal.The place has dimmed lighting, cozy seating, great music and beautiful décor to create an ambient setting. You couldnt deny the positive atmosphere because we were surrounded by returning patrons of all ages who equally loved the atmosphere.The food is FANTASTIC ! What stood out to me is the Italian choices, I had the shrimp penne vodka it came in a large portion which is great ! Also tried the passion fruit sangria really enjoyed it !Will plan to return here quite often :)

Places like this I would love the option of giving negative star ratings! This place was horrible and they will never get my money. The female bouncer at the door was very rude and disrespectful to people who were waiting to get inside and then got so upset at a person on line that she decided to start charging those online $50 to enter! LOL....watching from the inside I was appalled at the way she spoke to and treated the people who were patiently waiting to get in.

Didnt even bother staying. I was being charged $20 for admission because someone was having a birthday party. Mind you I wasnt a part of the birthday party and the place was fairly empty.Probably wont go back. Went to The Lobby instead.

The spanish bartender that wears the Giants hat on Monday nights is horrible. Bad attitude no hospitality. The drink was watered down and when I asked her to make it stronger because it looked and tasted like cranberry she tried to charge me double. That was the first time I ever went to that place and because of her I will never return.

The server was excellent but we waited for food that arrived cold after 2 hours. They provided bread as per my request while we continued to wait for food. I declined food after it finally arrived cold.

Long lines outside, over crowded in the back area, not enough bartenders for the amount of people waiting for drinks. Noticed spills that were never cleaned as well as dirty tables left sitting for several hours. Staff lighting bottles next to your face. Not worth the $25.

A few times here already, this place stay packed with good people, good music and food, the atmosphere is very nice.

I was actually really surprised at how good the quality of the food was, I came with several friends at about 5pm and it was pretty slow but our server was attentive and made a really great sangria!

Its ok... Drinks werent that good more juice than Vodka. More of a 21-25 yrs spot and Im in my early 40s so. So on that not we will not be returning.

If you want a vibe, dolce is the place to be. With the new touch of outside dining it has definitely added a wonderful perk to the establishment....great bartenders and music always on point.

The place is ok, nothing spectacular and the food is delicious BUT THE DRINKS ARE OVER PRICED!! for 3 shots of Hennessey they charged me $45 .. sheeeessshhhhhh!!!!!! I was robbed without a gun..lol

Absolutely loved the atmosphere and dinner was delicious. I highly recommend the seared salmon with guava glaze and oxtail dinner. Staff was helpful and courteous!

There was no servers working but one guy which was nice. There was a drink menu which was small and didnt have prices for the drinks.I asked for the prices of a bottle and was given several different prices. The owner needs to get it together you cant run a club by yourself. I dont recommend this place .

The long island teas are slamming!!!We went for the brunch and loved the food as the staff was very nice. The braised oxtails were perfect.

Thursday nights at Dolce is always a great time! DJ Vit & DJ Money Mike always sets the vibe right. Definitely worth the experience!!

All the womans bathrooms were out of order. The food was cold and unacceptable. The hookah was the best and the DJ was on point

They had a show there Sat with lady Alma they was charging 20.00 to get in now once I got to Dolce the show was over they still charged me 20.00 to get in which I had to pay for another 40.00 for what when the show was over the drinks very expensive bad deal😡🤬

This is a restaurant pretending to be a club. Space is small food takes too long music isnt good and there is not much parking available. Staff doesnt even answer the phone when they have little guests.

They have a great happy hour with great drinks and $5 apps. They have taco Tuesday, wine Wednesday and all is delicious! Definitely a must!

WE BARELY GOT THROUGH OUR DRINKS AND REMOTELY CLOSE TO ENJOYING A FRESH HOOKAH BEFORE WE HAD TO PACK UP AND GO. AFTER EXPRESSING THE SITUATION NOONE ATTEMPTED TO ACCOMODATE OR REFUND. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.
