I went in today for a massage with Joaquina. I am used to light to medium pressure massages. I did not express this when I entered the room. Joaquina asked me if there was anything bothering me and I said my back had been giving me some issues. I was never asked of pressure preference as most massage therapists do prior to treatment. When I say Joaquina had the most intense pressure I have experienced, wow. My shoulders are extremely sore. If this is what you like, then, Joaquina will be great for your needs. Unfortunately, not for me. The massage environment as well was… interesting. It didn’t seem like the typical massage spa I was expecting. Also not in a great part of town. You also have to pre pay and tip for your service in advance! Crazy!

If you know my I severe back problems and today I’ve met my match! Joaquina Young with Revive therapeutic massage spa has taken a serious weight off my shoulders. I constantly get massages, but people must think since I’m tiny that they will hurt me….not her! She went into my focus areas after asking me what I was in need of. She focused mainly on my back, neck, and scapula area.Not only is she professional, but the quality and ambiance is TOP NOTCH!I will be back monthly. If you have mental or physical health issues I HIGHLY recommend you getting into a service with her.I haven’t felt this relaxed in ages.

My husband and i were so excited to visit and get a couple massage and facial during a weekend away. My husband had an accident that caused us to go to the ER and be in hospital for five days when we were on our way to the massage. I was shaken and when I called to tell them and cancel I was told no refund would be given as it’s not their fault and their staff have to be paid.I do am back in town I will not use this place or refer them to anyone. Accidents happen and this was an awful time for my family. My husband has a 6 month recovery ahead of him and we received no warm reply . I was already in near tears in the ER when I had to make the call and by end of call I was in floods of tears.Alexa

I am used to deep muscle massage about once a week. I came to the Fort Myers area for a week of vacation. I chose Revive based on the reviews. I had 2 massages with Joaquina, the owner. The first massage went well and was kind of a get to know my body. The second massage was awesome! She knew the exact areas to address and relaxed all the muscles head to toe. If I lived here, I would go every week! Thank you Joaquina!

The massage was ok. However, the therapist was not pleasant, smelled like Marijuana and brought me to a massage room that had garbage on the floor and the sheets were stained. Will not be back.

Joaquina - is phenomenal !! Moved to Fort Myers area in 2019 – have had approximately 55 massages or more in the area, from Bonita Springs/Estero/Cape Coral/Punta Gorda/Fort Myers, in the last 4 years. Most people dont know the benefits of assisted stretching, but I do! Joaquina did a great job and my knees and hips feel so much better! Next time, however, I will schedule a stretch and then a massage that would be the ultimate relaxation afternoon. Highly recommend!

I went in for a back facial or a backacial. I was treated by the owner. Multiple products were used including a scrub. Then I was hot towelled twice and an extraction was done for any black heads that might’ve been left. It was quite the treat after a long flight. The building was unassuming at first glance maybe some more signage on the outside to let clients know they came to the right door/ stairway etc.

Joaquina knew exactly what to do to alleviate my neck pain. She worked on this before any other part of the massage, fixing my major issues so that I could enjoy the rest of the massage. She really is magic, and she provided me one of the top massages out of the hundreds I’ve had. I am from Washington, DC, and I would fly back just to see her; that’s how good she is. The absolute best massage in Fort Myers, hands down. As a construction worker, I end just about every day beaten and battered. And, on top of that, I was involved in two vehicular accidents, two months apart. After undergoing almost one full year of physical therapy (which did not help the aches and pains I experienced daily), I decided it may be best that I go to a massage therapist. I found the right one in Joquina. She was able to resolve issues that physical therapy could not, in my case. Sore muscles, aching knees, back spasms, and an annoying shifting tendon in my leg disappeared. I’m back to climbing ladders and stairs, and wearing my tool belt, with ease Thank you so much! I purchased a Groupon for a facial for my daughter. I received four text messages confirming this appt. in the 24hrs before my daughters facial. An hour and a half before the appointment I got another text saying my appointment was cancelled. There is no way to call and speak to anyone so I texted the number back and it sent my a message if I wanted to confirm, cancel or reschedule and it had my appt time and date so I selected confirm and it said my appointment for the time and date was confirmed. Complete confused with this system my daughter and I went to the salon at our appointment time to find out what was going on. What we found out was that she had given our spot to another customer. She lied and said the woman didn’t have an appointment and was just picking up a gift card but the customer actually spoke up and said she had been worked into the schedule. It was just really upsetting as even though I was using a Groupon to book the appointment I had to save the appointment and if I cancelled without 24 hrs notice my card would have been charged $70 but she cancelledour appointment with very little notice and not even for an emergency but for a full price customer. I really hope the extra $30 was worth this negative review.
