This place change so much. I been going for a year. The price now is crazy. The part we always sat is VIP now and charge 400 that is crazy. No where to seat no where to put your drinks at for you can dance. Great that they open the back room. But the music sucks and no tables. I understand changes that is great but they change everything. The prices are crazy now. I cancel my membership not planning to go back sad because I really liked this plan and it breaks my heart but I guess I will look for a different places.

A miserable place. Not a club but a warehouse space with little rooms inside. They don’t manage ratio of men so it’s just a bunch of guys walking around in towels trying to keep it while they try locked doors. If a door opens, they all rush like rats to a peace of dead meat. Don’t waste you’re time or money. Good marketing though, I imagine that place they describe would be great

Really loved the club! The new improvements are so apparent, not just with the facelift and decor, but the people and the vibe. It’s such a fun place to explore and choose your own adventure whether you are new to the lifestyle or been in it for a while. Especially loved seeing so many cleaning staff who cleaned each room after people left. Also the performers were amazing! We will be back!

Went to Miami Velvet for the first (and second) time with my husband Friday & Saturday nights, to experience the different mix of guests. All of the staff we encountered were friendly, super helpful, and readily available. The attention to cleanliness and hygiene was impressive (speaks volumes from this nurse person;-). Dance music was perfect vibe... Loved the lighting Saturday night. Plenty of places to play... Poles for dancing, rooms with varying degrees of privacy (or not;) to meet anyones needs. Others there were respectful, making play options easy. Next time will definitely have to check out the kink room and showers. Cant wait to be back in town;)

Went to Miami Velvet twice in one weekend and both nights were great fun. The club has a really fun vibe irrespective of which night you go, with plenty of open space to dance and mingle. The play areas are really clean and well kept. If youve ever been curious, you owe it to yourself to check this place out.

We used to go to MV almost every Saturday for the past 4 years, but the recent huge increase in entry fee has forced us to stop going so frequently. Also theres no more discount for pre paying the entry fee.Theyve said they remodeled the place but it looks basically the same as it has always been. We really loved going to MV but when you add the increase in price plus parking (which is extra) its just too expensive now to go every weekend like we used to. Now we only go around once every 3 months. We understand everything is more expensive due to inflation but they went overboard with such a huge increase in price. Hopefully theyll lower the price a bit or offer a nice discount for pre paying..

Not a good club. Girlfriend was intoxicated; I repeatedly stated to the security that she needs to go home; next thing I know, the male security gaurd is in the womens bathroom with my girl. Half the staff is rude. The people who attend the club are people who will take advantage of any intoxicated woman. We will not be going back. Seriously regret ever considering this club.

Great layout, sound and lighting on point. Fun mixed crowd, walked into real latin music, not just bad bunny. Some house, bachata, hip hop and reggaeton. Went in with 3 ladies and came out with mad numbers.

Attended for the first time the Friday and it was a blast! Various kinds of music, genuine and helpful staff, and the best part…..attractive, nice, and respectful guest. Definitely will be returning.XoxoAlaska

Very new to the lifestyle!First time I went was two years ago… and it was cool for the first time but… it was just ehhh.. no class…. a lot of my friends said they would never go there again too….This year I was invited back and have been twice now, and the energy is different… younger crowds with more distinguished areas! More fun with the new upgrades too! New k!nk room is extremely fun! OMG! They are spicing things up with education, fun contests and events!!! I am excited where this place is going and how it is evolving! New energy! New people! It’s on the rise!Much needed if you ask me 😂 Honestly to be educated on this stuff is so important too! Really happy they are taking the full scope experience for the new crowds coming in for those that are curious!

I am fairly critical in reviewing Miami night clubs, but I must say that my experience at Miami Velvet was superb. I had been to MV as a couple a few years ago to try it out. Last Friday, I decided to go as a single gent. The improvements to the club have been incredible. The front part of the club has been upgraded to double both as a Miami club with all the bells and whistles as well as lounges if you just want to chill. The DJ was on point. The music was on fire with a wide variety from rageaton to hip hop to EDM, so there was something for everyone’s taste. The back half of the club has also seen some major improvements and is way more inviting for those who have never experienced this type of club. It was the perfect setup for “newbie night.”As for the staff, I’ve read some of the reviews here, and it honestly boggles my mind to say that anyone was rude. It is true that in Miami clubs staff tends to be rude. However, my experience at MV was the complete opposite. From security in the front to the bartenders to the bathroom attendant, everyone was very friendly and cordial. A shoutout to Justin as he was the epitome of a host, making it easy for “newbies” to mingle and get to know each other.Overall, I had an amazing time and recommend it to those interested in experiencing an amazing night full of surprises.

House Music on Saturdays are a game changer, hope it attracts the newer generation, thank you to the new management!, please dont stop playing house music all night long! 👽

Been going all year.. some things we have learned..1. Foam parties are the best night to go2. NYE everyone throws inhibitions to the wind3. Pachnaga parties are super fun4. A regular non holiday night is very hit or miss.Club needs..1. More frequent foam events2. Temperature controls3. More bartenders on the busiest nights4. Should keep the back room open for another DJ and those freak beds to be accessibleStill a 8/10 experience all year.

I really wanted two go two this place but after reading all these bad reviews …/ I am good security sucks place needs to be updated. You could tell that the owner only cares about is employees. Doesn’t care about customer service and they tell you one price and really go with another. Only have a whole crowd no young people. We decided to check out a lifestyle club while in Miami. The website makes it look high class but its a shady dump from the early 90s. Staff were rude as well. Dont go and save yourself time and money.

In January 2024, the wife and I are flying from Dallas, Texas to Miami to board a cruise headed to Jamaica and Bahamas. We arrive in Miami a couple of days before the cruise departs. We were looking to check out some LS clubs but after reading the Owner’s/Manager’s responses to complaints, we will not be going to this club. Take care.

Used to go there friday nights to play with couples and singles, but since they separeted couples from singles playing area is not fun anymore, hope they fixe this in the future

10/10 experience! we never did something like this before. Warm and inviting. Boyfriend and I have high standards and were surprised at how attractive the people there are.Lots of people watching and always people hooking up. Dont expect people to come to you, rather, say hi to people and ask them if theyve been there before and make light conversation.The towels only area is a nice contrast from the loud club room.Very clean and well run.

It’s old. The single guys are so pathetic and gross. They creep on you and are always in the back with no couple or women. They prey on ppl, opening their doors without their permission

Service 10/10, Space 10/10, Music 10/10. We visit from Texas, For me and my wife , we are a young and attractive couple it was difficult to find a connection in the older crowd. Like any other club, the people are hit and Miss. But the service and security were incredible.

So much fun. Great music, vibes and a blast. Can’t recommend highly enough

Started coming to Velvet in 2016. I love how big and spacious it is. Everyone is super friendly and outgoing. RANDY IS THE BEST BARTENDER!! Borinquennnn! Velvet is never the same when he’s not working.

Just wanted to give an updated review for Miami Velvet as after a couple tries we started having good experiences. It came down to learning how to efficiently use the club and how to interact objectively. We met many great couples that were respectful and nicely aggressive (a combination of what we like). To clarify, we only go on Saturday night when single men are not allowed. As for the overall operation of the club, to us its acceptable. Well keep going every time we travel to Miami for sure.

My wife and I went here this past Saturday for the first time. It was pretty packed with lots of people standing around, some dancing, and others sitting on the couches near the dance floor.The clientele seemed to be predominantly Hispanic and in general very attractive. Plenty of eye-candy. Most seemed to be in their 20s and 30s with some older couples mixed in. We didnt notice too many scandalous outfits being worn by the ladies on the dance floor though which we have come to expect from other clubs like this. Most were in regular miniskirts, tight shorts, or jeans.We were told that play is allowed anywhere in the club at anytime but that it rarely happens outside of the towel room area. On this particular Saturday night in the summer, we didnt notice anything happening on the dance floor that you wouldnt see in a normal dance club. My wife and I tried to get something going, but even she was hesitant about it considering we hadnt even seen anything as simple as heavy petting in this area.The dance area was nice, and very spacious. The music was incredibly loud and made it very difficult to carry on any conversation, but that seems to be the norm for most places like this. We liked how the couches were large enough to fit more than one couple at a time. This makes starting a conversation much easier, but again the music was so loud it made it very difficult.We were told that all of the action happens in the Towel Room but that they didnt begin enforcing the towels only rule until 12-1. We walked over there around 12:30 and no one was there. Around 1:15 we checked in again and there were a few people in towels but no enforcement of the rule. Finally around 2 am they began really enforcing the towels only rule. We saw several couples get booted out for coming in fully dressed. We were one of the first handful of couples to enter there. Eventually, more and more couples began to enter.Some observations of the towel room. Things start very late here (after 2 am). Everyone keeps there towels on. It was like being in a poorly lit day spa. We only saw one other person (a female) not wearing a towel outside one of the private rooms. My wife and I were the only couple brave enough to walk around without the towel covering us up. Also, we noticed many of the girls would keep all of their underwear on under their towels.We would estimate that about 85% of the couples who entered this area would just walk through, poke their head in the orgy room, then leave, or they were there waiting for one of the private rooms in which they would enter and then promptly shut the door. Only about 15% actually used the orgy room and surprisingly even a few of them kept their towels on while doing their thing.It just seems that the clientele here and the culture in general is very conservative when it comes to nudity and body image. This is just very different from other places we have been.Overall the club is very clean, and the staff are friendly. The club seemed well kept and was very spacious, and well laid out. The adult movies were of good quality so no complaints there.We did have a pretty good time and may come back another time to give it another try.

Completely fell off..it was empty.. and the door guy Raul (I think thats how u spell it) was highly disrespectfull/ offensive to us!.. They gave us one price outside and another price inside.. when I inquired about the difference he became irate about it.. yelling whats the difference... I dont think u should have dishonest people working at ur club who talks to ur guest like they are beneath them..To be fair I think the guy sufferers from Dyscalculia and thats y they gave him employment sitting on a little stool outside instead of retrieving currency..I can understand the fustration when ur disability hinders u from being able to count.. having a handicap of that magnitude can be very fustrating.. but his lack of customer service should not be tolerated!Update... After seeing the owners response I now understand y they didnt mind talking to us like that.. we flew from MD just to go here! ..instead of the owner addressing the way his staff talked to us and made us feel..he chose to ignored what his staff did and address my anger that any person would feel after being disrespected in such a manner instead.Very telling. It all starts from the top..

Awsome vibe, me and my lady had a great time

We were planning to go on Sat., but We just stopped by the place to check it out as we were close by. We offered to pay for membership just for my girlfriend to have a quick look inside to make sure it is the right place for us. We were unpleasantly rejected until we pay for the cover for the whole night, and this was pretty much at the end of their time . Any way, while we were waiting for the taxi to come back, all we saw was older people getting out, nothing like the classy crowd as is advertised ... not to mention the rude staff who know nothing about customer service, the African-American man in charge at the front (calling himself Maurice) was surely the one hurting the business by being a most unpleasant we have seen in a club!

Paid for a membership and bought event tickets but couldnt go to an event because of the covid lockdown. The management said the virtual parties were used instead. I dont want to pay for a virtual party Id much rather have my money back or be credited for another event. I even offered to continue being a patron if my membership was recredited to when it will be open again but my more than reasonable request was denied. Poor customer service and business model for promoting longevity with their customer base. Its a shame because I brought a more youthful crowd to the mix.

I have been in the lifestyle for about a year. In this club was a disgrace to the swinger lifestyle I was very disappointed in the atmosphere of a single drunk guys and no privacy. Me and my husband went into a private room shut the door and locked it and had several people knock on the door at least five or six times during our Private moment in one of the private rooms several people tried to open the door was banging on the door and it left a really bad taste in my mouth. If I wanted to go to a strip club that is what I would’ve done there needs to be some serious regulation done at this establishment. Boundaries were not respected... At any other club no means no and a locked door is a locked door... I get this club a thumbs down and will not be returning...

I would not recommend this place! My party Ubered 30 minutes to this establishment just to find out they don’t accept men wearing shorts upon arrival however the dress code on their website contradicts what the doorman is actually allowing into the club. They make up their own rules, unprofessional and extremely disappointing.

With our review we want to call the attention of the management of the Miami Velvet as there is a lot of room for improvement of the club to make it the best of south Florida.Miami Velvet is back with SDC and SLS but they do not offer discounts to members like other clubs do. Prices remain the same as usual.BYOB is an excellent feature. Bottles conveniently marked is a good thing they do. Manny the bartender is an amazing professional.NO food and NO breakfast is served on premises. This should be included ASAP, or at least finger food should be served. This is one of the many reasons people are leaving to Trapeze.NO wristband is given to distinguish between singles and couples. This needs to be incorporated.People attending are 21 to early 50s. The average is mid 30s.The club is atmosphere is of a sexy dancing club and not of a swingers club.Management needs to look into keeping the club as a swingers club.Some money needs to be invested to make it more attractive and it could become the only true swingers club in Miami Dade area.Think that Miami is an iconic city visited by people from all over the world.Your nearest competitors are in Hollywood, Ft. Lauderdale and Pompano Beach.As for credit cards, In order to protect privacy of the attendees the credit card transactions should be with an anonymous name and the $4 fee eliminated.The 2016 anniversary party was a fiasco. For $209 they could have offered that night a buffet, a cake or pastry maybe a good show. Simply nothing happened.We encourage others to post a review as the existing ones are too old.We are refreshing this review on 7/30/2017Theme party clothing should be encouraged at minimum. As an example on neon parties almost nobody wears neon. :(WEDNESDAYS:Worst day to go. Horrible Dont even worry about it.On this day only one third of the club is open due to the minimum attendance.FRIDAYS:From 9:00 pm to 10:00 on you pay $25 to enter if you RSVP. Past 10:00 pm normal rate is charged.Fridays DJ Topo is a great DJ but he needs to keep the party alive, it is understandable the he has to play music for all tastes but if he sees the people going back to their seats, change to something better. People leaves the club upset.XXX videos displayed on the main room are bad quality. Cheap pornography.On this day two thirds of the club is open and the space is good enough for the attendees.Amazing dance floor, 3 poles, lots of space to seat comfortably.An area with a pool table is conveniently located no smoking allowed. The entire club is a non-smoking area.Bed sheets is this area are not replaced soon enough when a couple leaves the room.Fridays single men roaming around could be a real annoyance as some of them do not comprehend that NO means NO.Better control should be established as many single men sneak into the main play room even that a sign on the door clearly says couples only some other force door locks to open the private rooms in use.DIRTY bathrooms. No money invested in cleaning the facilitiesSATURDAYSThe entire club is open meaning all areas.Two DJs gives you choices.The area open on Saturdays has some beds in the dance area but they are too tall and too impractical to be used.Saturdays are for couples only and single women. This is much better than having men roaming around.Theme parties on Saturdays are amazing and the club even brings sexy dancers.In general I recommend attending the Miami Velvet but could be a hit and miss depending on what you are looking for.Most of the people attending are friendly and some others not at all.Again I want to encourage attendees to write an honest review.I know for sure the management will pay attention to all recommendations to make the Miami Velvet the best place in south east Florida

I thought it was going to be worst! The BYOB is a great thing, cool how they mark it for you and you go get your mixed drink when you want to. Mostly hispanics in there. Lots of older ppl,not entirely a young crowd.

We have been going to this place for over 5 years. Unfortunately, it has gone south. Not the same ambience, people there seem to be on their own thing and not really into swinging. Its a shame because it used to be a really nice place.

If you want to know the underworld, go back to the club and also the workers are rude avoid this place

Very very bad experience, security guy want to fight with every one , try to get on in 1st time said 200$ 100$ for membership and another 100 for get in, which is fine , then after only 15 minutes after I parked and wait on the line he said 250 $ cause to many single guy inside , be at place like that should be more professional team to handle the customer.

Pleasant music, normal atmosphere, for the cost of entry they should have the club with better care and cleaning. It smells musty, it is dirty, the seats to sit smell horrible, it is disgusting to sit in, the bathrooms are dirty, there was no toilet paper, otherwise the People respect spaces and everyone is living their moment. The place is very run down, I would not return and I do not recommend it.

We went on Saturday, September 9, the slowness in the line to enter was impressive and in fact we had to leave.They have to establish a VIP service that, although it costs more money, the customer does not have to wait in a queue of more than 20 meters. 5 couples for the same concept. Nobody wants to expose themselves in a line in a place like that, you understand. Thank you

I think that due to the lifestyle of those who frequent the place, the rates are excessive, because obviously you pay more, but the place is very run down, the bar chairs all get caught on clothes,And the furniture in general isOld,The workers veryKind people try to make you feel good at all times.The smoking area that was previously the pool room is no longer suitable for this and all the people who go out to smoke crowd in front of the club, and it looks terrible.

My partner and I have been there several times, we really liked it, we had fun, the dark-haired boss there was very friendly, the place was clean and smelly, but it is time for a remodel, there is also a lady who is an employee there, named Nancy, very rude and despotic. and flirting with clients.

Careful!We purchased the ticket through their website, we did not receive any confirmation from the location, but we received confirmation of purchase through the card and thus contacted the establishment where an employee confirmed that they had received payment and also our email, however, going to the place we were greeted rudely and told that they did not accept international cards even with bank confirmation.Terrible service...

I frequent this place, in my humble opinion it is time for a remodel, as it is quite deteriorated, thank you, it seems that they have a good cleaning company that remains hygienic and smells good.

The music on Wednesdays since October has been very bad, the DJ wont let you finish the songs, thank goodness its the same at the bar and at the security thing. We paid Membership for a year and now its not required, the prices are going up. entrance and deteriorating service

Even on a one-time visit, they despise your membership when you advertise that you dont need it the first time!! In addition, it is brutally cold inside, you can freeze to pieces! It says on the website that we love tourists, but they forgot to write there to charge money!! Even 1 star is a lot! I do not recommend it to anyone!!!

Very boring.... OMG! People are there as if it were a normal nightclub, there is no relaxation; Super rude employees and poor hygiene in the place.
