Amazing atmosphere! From the music videos to the 2 dj’s and the dance floor, I am definitely always finding myself coming back here. Great great place to dance, feel the music, and bring friends along! I’ve come with my parents, my friends, every time is a good time. Girls get in free while guys pay a small cover. There is a dress code so do look at that before coming. And prep for an awesome time!!

Our womens Meetup group of 9 had an amazing time here on a Friday night! Chris was the manager and was able to set us up with two tables so that we were able to sit. Robin was our waitress and she accommodated us all night, even tracking us between both the 80s and 90s side of the club. The music in both rooms was spot on and we all had so much fun. Its very rare you can take a group of women who dont know each other, are different ages and ethnicities and have as much fun as we did. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Had an incredible time celebrating my wifes birthday at studio 80. Our waitress was perfect and made us feel like we were family. I highly recommend a booth ( its more than worth the price!) the music was perfect, people were friendly, and the staff was amazing and never poured a bad drink. I highly recommend this place if you want to have fun and i cant wait to go back

I’ve been here twice. Both times my credit card had additional drinks and purchases. Do not leave an open tab!!! I looked at other reviews and this has happened to several people. Either the business or the bartenders are skimming off the top of open tabs. I talked to the bartender Kristi about this and she said the drinks would be deducted they did not. I guess they have friends that come and they put their drinks on other peoples tabs. The place was too crowded. I have read the response below from studio 80. This does not solve the problem of fraud to the public with the bartenders special touch of the credit card. Like I said this has happened twice with bogus charges on my credit card. She said she would delete it. She did something weird with her cash register. She printed out a fake receipt that I did not sign. I still have the copy with somebody else’s bogus signature on it. I was still stuck with the charges.

I was told i could not enter because I had a white shirt on. The owner (who sucked) came out and was more confrontational than his bouncers. He politely explained that his bar doesn’t tolerate reasonable people and we kindly left. Would not recommend.

If you like to scoot toot and boogie studio 80 is the place to be . I love the music and I’m a king on their dance floor. One of the best servers there is London She checks up on us and makes sure we are having a great time if you ever go I would recommend her but overall all the staff is great

We always wanted to check this place out so we stopped in in a Saturday night. It was fairly busy but not packed. They do have a strict dress code here so check that before going. I was wearing a baseball hat and they let me check it in with the front cashier. Service was hit or miss at the bars. Overall it was an okay experience.

We went for a birthday party and it was a blast! Loved everything about it. Tara was the perfect bartender and her shots are AWESOME! Was not sure what I really wanted and she made me something I would have originally would have sad nah to but she just made it and I loved it! Everyone in our party had a blast! Will definitely be going back!

I was here this past weekend with my boyfriend and Rachel was our waitress. She was so helpful and kind. She made sure we were taken care of all night long! Not only did we have great service, but she made us feel like we belonged there. We made a friend that night and we will definitely be back!

My experience at studio 80 was blown out of the water by our bartender Tara. She was so delightful. Extremely polite and very knowledgeable whenever it came to drink selection. She was super busy but was still Extremely attentive. My whole group was impressed by how quickly she made drinks and we never had to repeat our order. Will definitely be back and hoping Tara is working that night!!! I might even call ahead lol

Cant rate food because they really dont serve any.Great atmosphere! So much fun to go between the two clubs dance floors, 80s and hip hop! So much interactive entertainment, between the random characters that appear on the dance floor, the blasts of bubbles or confetti, but I think my favorite part is what I call group karaoke! We all know the words and are given the opportunity to sing along together at opportune moments in the songs 🎵 ✨️

Absolutely the best club in Fort Worth! The staff is always friendly and attentive. The management is always helpful and constantly checking on guests.

Me and my sister and her best friend were looking for somewhere to go . I am so happy we went. The whole vibe was amazing . We have no bars like this in Wichita Falls. The only thing that sucked is that I fell, and it was in the hip hop room. They need a bigger floor or to flatten the dance floor . And not lil couches for people that have issues with their legs. But other than that, it was amazing. I want to bring my grown kids and mom there to enjoy the fun. We went on a Saturday, and I love that people were dressed in 80s attire. The whole environment was amazing. Cant wait to go back.

Tara Taff is the best bartender I have ever had. Once you have ordered a drink she remembers and when u return she already a has it ready. Excellent service and will not find better. Never have to worry about opening up a bar tab because it is always right and never any over charges. I always go see her when I go to Studio Eighty. If you want great service and feel like the most important person at the bar, that’s your bartender to go see.

Best Birthday bash ever!! We reserved the white couch lounge area and, though pricey, was worth every penny! Great fun! We dressed up 80’s and had a blast! Good drinks! Jeff, the floor manager, was fantastic and checked on our party often.I’d actually give 4.5 instead of 5 stars simply that it was crazy busy (made it more fun) and so service was a tad slow and one bouncer had a huge ego issue at the end. But all in all, great!! Will be returning for our next one! Oh, also, our charges were correct!! People need to know what to expect I think.

Holy cow this place is a freaking blast. Went in with my girlfriend and it was an epic night. Shed never been to a night club before so I was a little apprehensive. We danced for hours. And how bout that DJ. Their DJ is Miami and Vegas quality. The music and vibe were exceptional. The bartender was friendly, fast and made great cocktails. We eventually ended up at a table getting bottles where the great service continued with our server. The manager came by a couple of times to make sure we were happy. First class service and experience from beginning to end. Love this club!!

Start by saying I do work with RCI, but was in town for spring break and have always heard great things about this place and finally had the chance to check it out. This place is great, met and exceeded my expectations. Staff was really inviting as soon as we walked through the door and took care of my party. Great music and vibes. Will definitely be back when I’m visiting again!!

Order a drink and the waitress disappeared after 30 mins or so ask the manager and he said he sent her home they couldnt find my card but then later did. Trashy staff and a lot a guest too. But cool idea just not the best.

Outstanding! There is a $10 cover charge, but only for the guys. Best time we’ve had in a long time. Great mix of 80’s, with a few more modern (90’s and such) hip hop tunes. The Host was very professional and courteous, and helped us find a seat right away. Drinks were cold, and reasonably priced, the DJ was great, and did a lot of crowd involvement. The whole place had a fun and friendly atmosphere. The police came through every so often, not at all in a harassing way, but just looking to see if there were any troublemakers. I talked to one of them and he was very friendly. If you’re in to 80’s music and looking to dance or just hang out, this is your place.Yes, the music is loud, and it’s hard to have a conversation. It’s a club, get over it. I wore ear plugs to protect my hearing, and it made a world of difference.

Not happy !!!! with me using my debit card here I had to dispute what were supposed to be “two hour holds “ (VERBATIM ) per the two front bar tenders on my debit card , from the venue for two drinks that were supposed to be (11.36 each )one hold on my card of 50 dollars on one receipt for oneand 18 for another and when you approach the bartenders they are like sorry it should fall off it’s just a hold no they don’t fall off ! Ridiculous! Will never go back here again ! Carry cash if you do not want extra cash coming out of your bank account ! and their dress code is peculiar not baseball heats or beanies you have to check them in with the cashier …

My Long-awaited Studio 80 review... I have been coming to Studio 80 for years, and it just keeps getting better and better. I first came across this majestic place 2021 and boy did I not know that it would just maximize the fun! As of 2024 the crowd just knows where to go to have a fun time, no questions asked. I recently as of 2024 started my Dallas Palace Patheon and Studio 80 after my many Years of clubbing is the ONLY Fort Worth nightclub I will still attend. I want new experiences, but Studio 80 is my Go-to for Fort Worth clubbing. 2024 Studio 80 or Uptown Dallas, their staff, the crowd, the dance floor, the atmosphere, the drinks, that is what keeps me in Fort Worth to this day. Otherwise, I would be exclusively Dallas. Thanks Studio, for letting me mix up my Pantheons!

Fun place even though they lost our reservation for my 50th birthday party that was reserved in advance. The price for one modelo and one ulta was $19. Just insane prices. Part of put group had to leave due to just not being able to afford a drink.

Great place to go with friends. Would have been better had the DJ played more 80s rock. Def Leopard, Bon Jovi, Poison, etc.

Olivia does an “outstanding” job. Not only is she amazing at keeping track on who’s next to serve, but her drinks are tasty and perfect and she greets everyone with a smile! Love this club!

EDIT!: Updating my review since I did have a great time! My only complaint was the credit card charge. Which, just like the owners kindly replied in the comment, was a pre-charge amount and went back to the right amount after 5-6 days.Had a great time so I really wanted to come here and edit my review :)

Great 80s club with a 90s section. Drinks are ok...but watch out for the hold if using a CC. It Should only be one, but I was charged $600 worth. They did drop off CC after a few days. Major issue was glass in my drink. They didnt seem to care about the issue. Other than that great place to dance and let loose.

I went In Sunday for karaoke and me and my friends felt so welcomed and taken care of. The bartender Michael was one of the best bartenders that I have experienced in a long time. He’s made going in on Sunday’s has become a ritual for our friend group

An absolute blast! The atmosphere and energy of a vegas nightclub with 80s stick, music and videos. 90s club adjacent. Sam the waitress is a riot, really nice and fun. Only slight negative is drinks seemed a little watered down, but otherwise fantastic. Great place for fun and celebrations. Make sure to reserve seats.

Heard about all the buzz surrounding Studio 80 and had to check the place out. It’s a fun club for sure! Fun lighting with great tunes the whole night and a friendly courteous staff. The drinks were good and lots of fun people watching. I enjoyed my evening there for sure.Word of advice when you go though. If I were you, I’d pay my tab with cash if possible. They have a pretty archaic card POS that if an error is made, it is almost impossible to undo. My tab closed out at $107, however because my card was accidentally run one extra time I was charged $100 more, leaving my total at $207. Michael, the manager on duty, caught it early on and did his best to ensure the charges did not finalize. However, it seemed to be too late and when they hit my account, there was simply nothing they could do from there. So I had to learn that lesson the hard way. So until they fix that bug, when I go back I will stick to paying with cash. Outside of that, nothing but good things to say about my experience, and so long as you come prepared with cash you won’t have anything to worry about.

Bartender Michael was amazing. He’s the only reason I go to Studio 80. He helps women to feel safe and he’s excessively charming! I don’t think I’d go back if he wasn’t there. I appreciate his chivalry and welcoming personality.

Loved the music and videos. Great job going retro. The dance floor was full, and a great time was had byeveryone in my party. Our bartender Olivia was amazing 👏 Many of the servers were dressed in 80s-style clothing. It was a memorable experience, and I will definitely return.

We didnt have any food so I cant comment on that but the service and atmosphere was awesome! Cant wait to get all our friends out there to party! Again great Club!!!

One of the best nightclubs in the town. Saturday nights are so lit here. 80/90s music and a large vibrant dance floor. Experience is amazing. They have a good bar, separate smoking area and VIP lounge. Worth to check it out.

Was there with my friends on May 10 (Friday). My friends and I agree the DJ in the back room was no good. He kept cutting off the few good Sony we played. I remember before Covid that back room had an awesome music mix( Latin music, Hip Hop etc from the 90) . It used to be packed. Please reply theDJ by one who knows how to read the room ( if people keep leaving that should be a big clue or hardly dancing )

Beware. Take cash. We were charged 4 separate transactions listed as RCI. We had our actual receipt tab and there were beers we didnt even order on our tab along with a pretty steep gratuity even though we gave a nice cash tip. They seem really confused on credit cards and even temporarily lost my son in laws. Music was good and place is a good vibe. Just bring lots of cash its expensive and avoid credit cards if you dont want to get ripped off. Btw everyone in our party was over charged on their credit cards. Definitely dont start a tab. You will regret it later. For 2 buckets of beer and 4 shots was charged 335.00. 6 Miller lights were on tab we didnt even order 🤷‍♀️. Its so dark by bar you cant see tab when closing out.

Michael keeps the party going. I went on a Thursday and he was a one man army. He was speed bartending, and it looked like he was D.J.ing too all while interacting with EVERY single customer there. I will definitely come back to see him.

Took forever to get a drink but understandably it was extremely packed, drinks were very expensive, for a well drink, a beer and 2 Vegas bombs, it was 65 dollars 😱 I like that they have the main room which had a performer in the middle of the dance floor on the ceiling in a hoop doing tricks, and they have a side room call the “hip hop” room and they also have an upstairs room as well that played different music from the other two rooms, guys have to pay and girls get in free, I wouldn’t mind coming back in the future but definitely not a every weekend vibe to me.

I came to studio 80 last night. They have the most friendly and helpful staff! There was one employee in particular that was helpful and worked beyond what I could believe was required of him. His name was Freddy. He periodically would check on myself and people around me to make sure we had a good time; making jokes and keeping us in the best spirits. He truly kept everybody afloat!

Ashley is a beast behind the bar!! She’s so hopeful and friendly. & this club is always a fun place to let loose and dance! Def recommend coming here!!!!

One of the best times Ive had in Ft Worth with my wife. We had a blast, the owner is very nice, my wife asked him to find us a table not knowing that he was the owner. He found us a table and my wife wanted to tip him $20 and he said I dont take tips I own this place, that was very funny 😄. Anyways its a very lively place and I highly recommend it for grown folks and young ones too.

Studio 80 is a nice,well managed club. I was there a couple of weeks ago and they had an acrobat on a hoop. She was great. The only thing I dont like is that the drinks are pricey, although not excessive for that part of town.

Went here on a Saturday night, june 1st 2024, i ran my card every time and closed it out, never had an open tab, each time it was $17.17, ran it 5x, woke up on Sunday and checked the bank, BAM, I WAS CHARGED $24 EACH TIME, I signed every receipt but yet they dont know how or why, this place is scandalous and isnt worth going to, terrible business practices!

I visit this place all the time and every time I go I make sure Ashely is working! If she isn’t working, I won’t stay too long. She is so professional and knowledgeable… I would recommend you visiting but ask for Ashley! She’s the BEST!

Was told I could not wear “beanie” and not allowed inside. Too bad it was not a beanie and was a religious Taqiyah garment. Very sad to come here with 10 of my work friends and have the man at the front say this to us. Also this man/bouncer was wearing a suit and tie—- not really 80’s.

If you are a fan of the 80’s, this place can’t be beat! We didn’t order food, but the drinks and service were great. The music was all 80’s until around 1am when the DJ switched to more current tunes. There’s also a 90’s room, which was fun too. Great experience. Will definitely go back!

Do not use a credit card!!!! I went there for the 1st time and the bartender in the bar in the back lost it. He said he was sorry and actually said that they might have given it to someone else!! I then spoke to the manager and he told me to leave my contact information with the host and they would call me on Sunday to let me know if they found it or not. No one called me!!! They leave your credit card in a box that is alphabetized and not locked up!!! Ridiculous!!!!!

Do Not use your card. I was charges $150. I opened 1 tab and was charged 3 times on my debit card. I waited for the charges to fall off but now the actual amount of my tab is on my account plus 2 $50 charges. So theyre up to $216 on my account.

I attended a get- together at Studio 80 on Saturday night (4 February 24), I was charged TWO DIFFERENT prices, ( $9.50, $7.00), for the SAME Model beer!!! There is a mini-bar in the area of the restrooms; there was a White-male, late twenties and tall, he would NOT give me a receipt, when he OVERCHARGED me, for the beer; also, he was DRY and RUDE and, the condition of the bar area behind him, made me want to report Studio 80, for UNHEALTHY and UNCLEAN practices!! Once I went back to my party, I ordered another Model and the female waitress charged $7.00, which is fair, being that the club is downtown. Overall, I did enjoy myself.

Parking was a breeze Saturday night free parking after 6pm in the attached parking garage. Hassle free—no cover for ladies. This place literally felt like we traveled back in time. We had a great time! 10/10 recommend. Great music, great service, overall great atmosphere!!!

The place was nice. I had a work party here and it was fun. However, the DJ was creepy. He kept pointing me out or spotlighting me and me specifically. That made me uncomfortable enough I was hiding from him on the dance floor. He was also not that great of a DJ. Went for the Halloween party and had a great time! I like how they had 2 rooms, one with the old music and one with the newer music. Atmosphere was cool. People who were there were cool. Bartenders kicked butt and really hustled when the bar was full

The back lounge was jamming, but the dance floor is really small.If youre someone who wants to get down to Safety Dance, I love rock and roll, Karma Chameleon, Jack and Diane, and Livin on a prayer, hit the main floor at Studio 80 and theyll give you all that and more. For people who like to dance, head to the back lounge, or even better, head up 35 to Meacham and go to Cassidys.One criticism about the lounge DJ: hed switch it up after one verse, and hed do this even when the crowd was into it and singing/rapping along to a banger. Some songs you gotta get all the verses in... But still, song selection in the back was worlds better than the main floor.One tip for security at Studio 80: dont let people go on the floor with drinks. They spill them and make it stickier than it already is. The Cassidys security locks that down, but again I think thats because Cassidys is a more pure dance club where the focus is on dancing.Service was great and nothing but rave reviews for the staff, but I had to go three stars because I was so disappointed in the main floor music.

We went her for my BF Birthday party. Our closing tab for the two of us was $228.00 with tip, our card was charged $100.00, $95.00, $55.00, and $5.00, the following day the $228.00 and another $25.00 charge appeared on our online banking along with all of those other charges. $195.00 shows to be a pre-auth, but the other charges do NOT add up. Where does the other $60 come from?? Not to mention I ordered a bottle of wine, which what they brought me was BERINGER (a very cheap bottle when purchased at a store, around $7.00) and was charged $50.00 for the bottle! I could understand if it were a higher quality of wine, but it may as well have been Boones Farm.We had a blast, very much enjoyed the music, but will never visit this establishment again as it is WAY overpriced and its crazy to run the card that many times for Pre-Authorizations then we have to wait a week to see if the charges are legit before being able to file a complaint. We went there for the first time. Manager was awesome and he helped us with our reservation. They played alot of 80s music. Around midnight they started mixing in some modern music but that is when more of the younger generation had shown up. It was nice environment. They had lots of screens in the background with all the music videos and they had a bubble machine on the dance floor. We had a very good time and we came down from Oklahoma.

I’ve been there on three extremely busy Saturday nights and have observed only one or two of the booths rented out. On Sept. 2nd, I wanted to rent a booth for my daughters birthday $350, I thought it was a joke….dang, I can take her on a weekend getaway, a concert or just give her money….for the price $$$$$ of a Studio 80’s booth and drinks cost. Ha, I’m watching a show and they just used the term “Pure and unadulterated greed.” Sounds fitting, seems like you would charge a reasonable $50 to maybe the highest $100, so a disabled mother could rent it out for her daughter who is a teacher… it also seems like you should want to spread the money around so the waitress, bartender, and other staff would enjoy ☺️ some money 💰 in their pockets….. instead of the empty booths = empty pockets for your wait staff… have you ever calculated out $350 + average drinks… minus empty booth’s and waitress’s loosing tips on your empty empty booths VS a reasonable price per booths, + avg drinks pp…. Happy Waitress’s….I use to approve plans for my former employer’s Christmas Party’s and other events. For 50 to 80 people and to rent out a room wasn’t that much.. when Attorneys came to town to treat us, they would rent out the cigar room at Cool River… it was only 1k for the room including some appetizers and drinks…. It was a few years back but I point this out to give you a heads up on how ridiculous the amount you charge is.And hope nobody ever rents a booth again.Owner(s) remember COVID,? how long were you shut down? What if it happens again? Treat people right!!!!!!

This club is a blast! We are there a minimum of twice a month and always have a great time. Every time we bring new friends they also become regulars. The staff will bend over backwards to accommodate, music is great, pricing is fair, energy level is high. The bar staff and wait staff are attentive and we find the bottle service in the booths to be a great value. We love it. (And it is clearly stated on their website as well as the front door that they enforce their dress code, so to all the people saying they couldn’t wear a hat or something and that was “unfair”, you are incorrect. I have been coming here for years and they won’t let me wear a baseball hat, either. It’s their rule!) I highly recommend trying this club out!

I’ve been a loyal customer to this establishment for over six years from the old location to the new one. I’ve rented out the owner, suite, multiple New Year’s,. This particular occasion occasions I showed up here with 14 of my best friends after a Cowboys game with jerseys on they would not let anybody in the club. We took off our jerseys and had undershirts underneath, and then we were not allowed in because the other club rule that you could not being with white shirts on which I understand. We live in Dallas and it’s football season. I don’t understand why a Cowboys fan who spends a lot of money on multiple occasions in this bar is not allowed in. Bad business.

Do not give your credit card for a tab or pay your bill with it!We paid our bar tab and tipped, but the next day we had 2 $75 charges on our card. RCI Dining SVCE. (VEE) Whatever that means. We were told by the hostess that the area was available, she never mentioned we would be charged $75 each to sit on a couch!Im really sad about this, because we loved the club, but my husband will never step foot in there again.Dont be sneaky with your charges!!

A friend wanted to celebrate her bday. Called talk to manager for table all was well I thought. Got there one of th owners was rude and insulting. We had 7 people. They wished her happy birthday as we were leaving and that was after we tab out they saw we dropped over 800+. Never again

This used to be an awesome place to go. It seems they have changed their expectations of who can patron their establishment. We had an experience recently where a male friend of ours was wearing an 80s themed tank top. Apparently they have a dress code for men which requires sleeves. We offered several options for putting on a shirt or another form of sleeves; but they refused to let us in and then became combative with us. Our perspective of this was clear homophobia. I hate to think that somewhere in Fort Worth would be this overt, but I guess that’s the world we’re living in. I will no longer be spending my time or money with Studio 80z

Always had a great time here! I don’t know why a few people on this app say it’s homophobic, because I’ve gone in drag with my trans friend (who goes there all the time) and we always have a blast. I also have met the owner, the owner is completely GLBTQ friendly. On ladies night all ladies including trans get in free. People need to stop resorting to calling everything homophobic as it really hurts all the hard work us older gays and trans worked so hard for everyone’s rights. Just because you’re gay doesn’t give you the right to be a drama queen.

A little upset after my night here. I am not one to point a finger and have tough skin, but I believe my fiancé and I experienced homophobia here. We were having a great time with our girlfriends since were from out of town and after a couple of hours dancing I needed to sit down for a second. My partner came with me and was guiding me out of the dance room by holding my hand. One of the workers came up to me and said I work here. I was a little confused and we told him we were going to sit down, as soon as we went to sit down a security guard/ policeman started yelling at us to get out or he would arrest us. We were absolutely confused but he wouldnt explain anything and was yelling at us. I HATE causing a scene and decided to go outside with my fiancé to call our friends and meet us outside. Once they came outside the security guard continued to yell at us? My friends obviously stuck up for us but at that point we didnt really want to be part of the party in there (nor were allowed to). Again tough skin but of course upset over the situation. I wont lie the music was great, the drinks were good but not sure what the issue was that led my partner and I to get kicked out.No worries we didnt let the night go sour the partying continued at club CURFEW right down the street.

We love Studio 80!! We visit Fort Worth frequently from Lubbock and Studio 80 is always one of the places we go while in town. We were there last night 7/15/23 and I noticed that they have started changing the music somewhat to where every 3rd song is no longer 80’s which was disappointing because we come here for that 80’s vibe. I feel they should leave that music for the other room where they play different music. At least keep it to 90’s or before, not Taylor Swift music in an 80’s club!!!

So I bought 2 margaritas and thought I only paid like $20. Come to find out I was charged 3 separate times for $50. Im incredibly disappointed with their customer service as no ones ever picks up the phone. If my money is returned Ill update my review. So after a few days most of the money was returned I still think I was accidentally charged twice but Im not willing to go as far as driving up there to get it figured out.

My husband, was and I were denied entry because we were wearing flip-flops, I was wearing a dress, My husband was wearing a button-up shirt and non-board shorts or cargo shorts. Just regular shorts. But because we were wearing flip-flops, they didnt want our three to $500 worth of business. Did you know as all future business will be directed differently. But buffalo rose no issues. Thank god.

This is an amazing place!! We celebrated my best friends birthday here. If you have a large crowd please call ahead and make a reservation. Jeff at reception has the most welcoming demeanor. He seats you and makes sure you know the layout. Awesome customer experience!! Our waitress Donna was very attentive and a pleasure to meet. She knows her craft and is on point with service. ALL of the waitstaff was excellent and attentive. They also have an attendant in the restroom for your personal needs. This place is in a class all by itself. My husband and I went there one night and loved the music and atmosphere so much I booked the VIP room upstairs for my 50th birthday party. It was so great! I had about 50 people up there and still plenty of room. Best part is that we had our own dance floor and bar area so we did not have to fight the crowd downstairs. Also, loved the fact that all my friend could co mingle with each other since many did not know each other prior to the party. It was a great night. Arrived at 9pm and it was already hopping. Stayed till 1ish. Super fun for all. Thank you Studio Eighty, we will be back.

Came here on a Saturday night for some old school fun. My dad pre ordered bottle service for two booths for my moms birthday. Music and vibes were on point. Service was EXTREMELY slow. Barely saw the waitress the entire evening. We ordered another bottle on a different tab and waited over an hour and never received it so we cancelled. 45 minutes later there $680 charge to our debit card which was not only 1 but two bottles we never received. My dad woke up this morning to a $450 charge to his card for a tip when he actually tipped $280, that wasn’t even well deserved. We previously saw reviews of how this happens here but took out chances and trusted we would have a good experience . Very unfortunate that we were scammed out of more money than we actually paid.This establishment seems to be doing very well and we have watched it grow from the university area. There shouldn’t be a need for GREED. We will NEVER patronize this establishment ever again.From a business owner perspective, the staff clearly needs to be reprimanded because they are direct reflection of the management.

Went here tonight for the first time, loved the atmosphere and music. Drinks are reasonably priced and even with it being packed took no more than a couple minutes to order and get my drink. Do wish they would have mentioned the pre charged for having a tab open was $75 but thats no big deal. Will 100% be coming here as my main bar.

Came here last night with a bachelor party, we came after doing the bar bike ride so the whole party still had sweatbands on. They allowed most of the party to keep them on, but once they got to me and the last 2 members of the party; they called them bandannas and said we had to take them off. Once inside we meet up with the rest of the party and we put back on the SWEATBANDS and the funniest thing happened, not a single person came back and told me to take it off.Now, my other 2 friends were pulled away and told to take it back off when they werent with the rest of the party but didnt approach me once as I never left the group.Down below is what was worn. Now, to some people, itll be very obvious why they did it, others will make excuses, and some will now consider this their go-to place moving forward.I just wanted to enjoy the night with my friends and although I did achieve that, it wasnt because of this place, it was in spite of it.

My husband and I had a great time when we found out about this club enjoyed the music and environment but the last couple of months we’ve been going we’ve been very disappointed with it. More college students coming and some are very disrespectful, pushing and spilling drinks on the dance floor. I’ve made reservations have them “misplaced or didn’t write it down. It was a lot of fun until I saw my bill. It was not at all what I signed for! I signed one bill and it was 11.25 and I left a tip and i got a notification saying it was $35 before I even left a tip. This was done multiple times. It was the only guy behind the bar on the other side of the 90’s music side. If you go just make sure you pay cash.

Staff was really friendly! Music was FANTASTIC! Drinks were great. The bartender even made us something up when we couldnt decide on what we wanted! Also very clean and safe! There are bathroom attendants and security to make sure everyone is safe. We walked away from our table to dance and left our empty drinks there as sort of a placeholder lol but not long after we walked away they cleared off the table. So at least theyre on top of it haha! All in all very fun and safe atmosphere. 👍🏻

But we recently celebrated a birthday there and we had an awesome time. I would like thank jeff the manager that made sure we were taken care of and our waitress Laura that was attentive even though she had several parties to take of. She made sure we had drinks, but if you couldnt wait and if you needed a drink right of way. Theres several bars you could go to get one. We reserved tables weeks in advance with bottle service. Even though bottle service was an extra cost, but to me it was worth it. When you walked in, you could see many tables reserved, so if you are just a walk in be prepared for possibly standing for some of the night. So i recommend reserving a spot if you can..the place was packed, the music was bumping, and the drinks were flowing and after a fun night our bill was correct. Thank you Jeff and Laura for making our night a good night. We would definitely come back again.

If you are looking for a good time on the dance floor with fantastic music from the 80’s Studio 80 is the place to go!! Not only is the music fantastic the staff will treat you right! Go see Shea and Dusty for same well crafted shots, cold drinks and enjoy the adventure!

Don’t ever use your credit card or open a tab. Always pay as you go with Cash, they shady with the charges and stuff just don’t make sense and there’s nothing you can do about it. I’m pretty sure I got overcharged by at least $50, but they keep trying to give you the round around and don’t answer the specific questions about the bill. Place is nice and good music but will never open a tab again. Can’t trust them.

They were happy to take our $10 cover but failed to mention that EVERY table was reserved and you would have to stand and hold your drink all night. The manager has a cocky attitude and you can tell he is all about the money and not customer service. They have an outside patio but you cannot hear the music at all and you get to enjoy smelling like an ashtray. The place has a cool vibe but you will be treated better anywhere else down the street. Avoid this place!!!!

Fun vibe & festive crowd. Multiple birthday parties and bridal groups and 80’s ladies everywhere.Two different zones with DJ and lounge/seating in both. One space is largely 80’s while the other is primarily 90’s. There’s a reservation only VIP space upstairs that was 100% vacant on a Saturday night, but it was still prepped and guarded if anyone wanted that velvet rope/more exclusive space.Respectful crowd. A group of gal pals went and besides some high fives from folks really digging our outfits... zero folks in your personal space here.

DO NOT OPEN A TAB HERE ! They cleared $50 out of my account because of their protocol to see how much you have , but it cleared my bank account. Luckily my friend was with me because if I had to Uber I wouldve been screwed. I just wish the staff wouldve told me ahead of time because I wouldve paid for my drinks individually. The bartender told me that it wont reappear for a few days, what a buzz kill. But besides that really cool vibe and place and if you love to dance then its perfect.Update : its been almost two weeks and I havent gotten my money back and they recharged the amount of the tab!! $80 GONE

OMG! We haven’t been dancing in so long! We went out Saturday if Halloween weekend and they had a costume contest and the best 80s music! I actually knew the words to every song! my hubby and I had so much fun! We would definitely go back again very crowded on the Dancefloor tonight I totally worth it it was so much fun!

So as far as the club and atmosphere it was amazing. Felt like stepping back into high school.Now the drinks are WAY OVERPRICED, and you can BARELY taste the alcohol. Granted I dont want to drink straight alcohol but you should be able to taste it.I honestly dont understand the hat thing, but if thats the rules, then those are the rules.Now idk how anyone whos not from the area could get the chance to enjoy a new place when EVERY SINGLE TABLE, CHAIR AND COUCH IS RESERVED. I would imagine people have to pay a fee to reserve it but that still isnt fair or thoughtful of those who wish to try the place out.So in closing, this bar was Flippin awesome with the retro vibe, design and feel. But you need to bring your drinks down some. Then please be more considerate of those who wish to experience your club, letting regulars take all the seating isnt away to attract new patrons.

We have been going here for years and absolutely love it! Even though as everyone else has had, they have had employee turn over, but the new ones we have interacted with so far have been great, and our long time favorites are always wonderful! The atmosphere is great, great music and drinks.

Great atmosphere- great service- DJ needs to check the release dates on some of his choices- they were definitely not 80’s toward the end of the night- and the dance floor is sticky as hell- but all in all great gun was had!

The place is one of the coolest night clubs I’ve been to in dfw, I frequent there often with my friends. Last weekend we got bottle service, and after paying for 2 bottles already we got kicked out of the bar by a police officer… He was claiming a friend of ours was too drunk… Its bottle service dude, what do you expect???? We weren’t bothering anybody or doing anything dumb… Also, the cop had been drinking all night, and his breath smelled like fireball, maybe he should’ve been kicked out for drinking on the job. This is not how you treat customers..

I had been looking for a night club like this for years! I live in the Dallas area, and was in Ft Worth for business. I was having dinner across the street and saw the lights. I thought, Im going in there and having a drink! Well I stayed for hours! Here you can totally nerd out and be goofy and just enjoy the 80s. The bouncers were all very nice and communicated with each other that this was my first time as I was taken to my table. Random people would dance with me and then go to their group.The atmosphere was great and restrooms were clean. I did not leave my credit card open. So no issues there.I will definitely be back.

I’ll leave 3 stars because I’ve been here many times since they opened around 2016ish and usually have a blast. A few weeks ago, my 80s music loving husband, decided he had to check it out for a friends birthday. When walking in, the bouncer had him stop to check his hat, then made him wait to see if he could be allowed in with a jersey on. Now this wasn’t a real jersey. It was a v-neck almost fitted shirt that was “decorated” like a Chicago Bulls jersey. Ya know, 80’s… Bulls… I thought it was clever. Anyway, the manager comes over and decides to let him stay but also tells him, in his ear, “this is a nice place, not a bar.” I found this laughable. Not only were there cowboy hats everywhere, but they had dancers standing on stages in nothing but swim trunks. Every time I’ve been, there are many women in thong leotards and pantyhose. I took lots of pictures of people’s outfits but have decided not to share them because I’m not criticizing their clothes and/mor style choices, but definitely not anything anyone would wear to “a nice place”. Also, if you are using a card, even if not opening a tab but paying for 1 drink, be prepared for a hold on at least $50. My sister didn’t get her money back for days. Yes there are signs at the registers, but they do not insinuate the hold on every transaction when not opening a tab. Lastly, most of the bartenders, if they acknowledge you, will act as if you are bothering them when you order. There are no menus, but try to avoid asking questions. Maybe, in that case, you will get a drink and a hint of customer service. With all that said, I’ll be going back tonight for my sisters birthday. I hope to have a better experience than the last few times.

So the front of house was a bit of a turn-off, kinda heavy with the LDS but they might check the guys hard to run off the big egos. I was petty turned off at first BUT although security is a little overzealous; I think its probably for the best. Once I was in it was a great time all around.I had a group of 6 ROUGH boiis & they made sure we werent making the ladies uncomfortable but once they realized we were just having fun they were cool.Hard-core dress code but the servers were awesome and I really had a blast!Felt like Carlitos Way bar & it was so much fun, Id recommend a 100%!

The staff were so freaking nice. Great atmosphere. And going by myself I felt very safe and comfortable. And plenty of available parking garages nearby to choose from

I bought ONE small NOT tall Malibu and coke total was 15.18. I tipped $3, shouldnt have tipped anything had I know they were still going to tip themselves $10 i looked at my accunt to see it was charged 28.18, you guys are ridiculous!!. I WILL NEVER go back, I should had seen the red flag when they double booked the area my friend had reserved for her hubbys birthday!! NOT worth it I agree with comments that Ciddys is way better!

This place is awesome! I have become a regular here there is no other place like this in the area. But, lately, it has become LOUD here! Its a bit too loud! Bring EARPLUGS if you come here! My ears have developed a permanent ring. It sucks because I hear this ring all the time now. Its hard to sleep with this ringing all the time. Bring earplugs and you will be alright. Edit: I have been many times since this review, and the sound volume hasnt been as bad as before. This place is a step back in time to the 80s. I love it!

Was there last night with a few friends. Two of us in the group were wearing hats, as well as others in the bar…Cowboy hats, fedoras, ball caps, etc. I was not told at the door to remove it. Upon dancing with a male, I was singled out immediately and was told to leave due to wearing a hat. The man identified himself as the owner (jimmy I believe). This was a very targeted, homophobic response to me dancing with another male as no other patron in the bar was asked to leave for having a hat on. I will be pursuing this further.

I had a wonderful time and the bartenders Olivia and Samantha took wonderful care of me!

I came here for a birthday party. I was skeptical and weary from the bad reviews. We received nothing but 5 star customer service from entry,bartender,and waitress. My husband ordered Jack and Coke and me a margarita. Neither was watered down. We started out in the 80s room then went to the 90s room. Music was great! We went on a Friday night. The 90s room wasnt packed but we did arrive early 8pm and left around 10:30pm. My husband and I are not club people but we had a nice time. Those of you who had bad experiences I would try again,maybe they are under new management but we had a great time with great service.

Was in town for a TCA conference, so my fellow co workers and I went out to enjoy the 80s/90s atmosphere this past Friday ..11/15. Had fun, but I bought two beers and was over charged by the lady bartender in the 90s room. She was rude to not only me but two other peers of mine. And she had me put my PIN in on my tab before giving me my receipt. I’ve never had to put in my PIN in at a bar before!! DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR DEBIT CARD! Good thing my bank is quick and I was able to dispute the charge. Wish I would have read the reviews prior! For a fun time go to Pete’s Piano Bar, that place was a blast and we had better customer service along with no charge issues!!
