I love it here! Great experience from start to finish. Front desk staff were very sweet & knowledgeable. They look the time to go over multiple days with me over the phone until we found the perfect day/time. The facility itself is a beautiful old home with so much charm. Very clean, cozy & amazing ambiance. My Esthetician was incredible & performed such a relaxing facial! I usually come to the spa for massage but chose to try a facial and I am hooked. They’re almost more relaxing than a massage! I was curious about products for my skin & she explained them to me throughout the facial as she used them, then set those same products up front for me so I could read them/ purchase if I wanted. Overall, 10/10 experience. The quiet room is lovely, the staff is so warm & welcoming & the services are top notch!

This is the best spot in Golden for spa services! Such a relaxing atmosphere, located on a quiet, tree-lined streetin a historic brick home. I recommend booking with Payia, Anny and Kaela for nails, Andrea for facials and waxing and Savannah for massage. Their fun personalities make the experience so enjoyable!

I had my first experience at the spa and I’m not sure it was worth the cost. The spas hours are listed as opening at 10 and that’s when my appointment was scheduled. Since I didn’t arrive early I wasn’t offered a robe or time in the quiet room. Which I didn’t think you were supposed to arrive early if they aren’t listed as open yet. I did have an amazing facial and the provider did an excellent job explaining everything and all the steps. It was very relaxing. My booking consisted of a facial and sand treatment so after my facial I was asked to check back in and the front desk and then waited for the next treatment. I wasn’t really shown around or offered anything yet people around me looked all relaxed and in robes with drinks. I was then taken to the room where I would get the same treatment and was told that the rinse off wasn’t included but recommended. I’ve never had this done before and it was a gift so I just went with the listed treatment. It was not relaxing at all. It felt rushed and very awkward. The sand was literally beat off with a towel. I had a small towel with holes in it for covering and had to sit up awkwardly for half of the treatment. I didn’t really notice any benefit afterward and it would have been nice to put a robe on after instead of my clothes but that wasn’t offered. Also if you have your clothes and personal items there’s no where to put anything except one small hook. I wasn’t shown where to put my things or given much of an introduction for my first time being there. I’m not sure if the sand experience was normal since I have nothing to compare it to but I would not recommend it. I saw potential and would go back for a facial again but I’m not sure about anything else.

Taylor is the best massage therapist I’ve experienced. She is so intuitive and honestly I couldn’t imagine going to anyone else! Wood house customer experience is top notch from the moment you walk in and leave!

Lovely house spa. Been many times in the past 2 years- and they are always on time! Pedicures are luxurious (I do have to remind them how to cut my toes but Im a runner so a little picky). Couples massage is in a very quiet room and very relaxing. Tip: Go at least 20 minutes early to relax in the great room with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine!

I am a big fan of WoodHouse! Definitely go there for any relaxation needs. I had the best facial with Madison. Yamel is a true expert in her craft, and for massage, Taylor is the most experienced and you’ll never get a massage as good as hers!

Had a mom/daughter spa day last week. 2 days before Valentine’s Day. We arrived 15-20 mins early & the doors were locked, they ask for you to call upon arrival but our phones didn’t get service & the call would not connect. Eventually we got through but then it felt very rushed from there. We were freezing from standing outside & the receptionist showed no compassion. The waiting room area was pretty full too. My massage was average 5 out of 10, my daughter said hers was great but it was also her first. We also had facials which were awesome. We would rate those a 10. It’s a beautiful spa. I would give it another try on a less busy day.

I got to the woodhouse every chance I get! The golden location is extra attentive, welcoming and I often come early to enjoy the comfortable environment of the quiet room before a massage. Staff is always so kind and the services are top notch!

I LOVE this place… it’s my time to relax and do something for myself every month or so! Each time I go, minus once, I have had an exceptional experience. I have had pedicures, massages, and facials, with all being magnificent! I even got Gift Cards, for 3 ladies, to Woodhouse as a gift for a Favorite Things Party! I can not speak highly enough about Piaya and her amazing pedicures.

This is my go to spot for relaxation, comfort and peace. The quiet room is a warm and inviting space with the perfect lighting. The interior architecture is unique and open. The staff has always been kind and attentive. I’ve been coming here for years and highly recommend you treat yourself!

My experience at The Woodhouse Spa was one of the most enjoyable services I have payed for in a long time. The staff was professional and it was a first class environment from start to finish. Maria helped put together a great Christmas gift for my Mom while working with my complex schedule. Savannah gave a great massage that left my body feeling refreshed, but also communicated with me on troubled areas. Overall I appreciate everyone providing a relaxing day and I am looking forward to my next visit!

I had such a relaxing day at Woodhouse. I loved every minute of it. The ambiance, the friendly, professional staff, the treatments - all of it made my day. I received a mani/pedi and black sand rejuvenation prior to my wedding. I will absolutely be back in the future.

This is a really beautiful and very clean spa. Unfortunately I didn’t have a great experience getting a facial here. I left with painful red welts on my nose, forehead and chin. I wish I had spoken up during the appointment when it felt like the extractions were a bit aggressive, but was trying to just trust that it would be fine. I’ve never left a facial and had lingering pain in my face so I was really quite surprised. The bumps that were there after were also tough to conceal with makeup for work days later. My face is starting to heal fortunately but it was a somewhat jarring experience as I was worried about it leaving scars.

Angela, One of the massage therapists at the Wood spa golden is absolutely phenomenal. I used to have a massage therapist I went to for years until she moved to California and I haven’t been able to find anyone since. I am not picky I just like standard Swedish massage but man she was absolutely amazing. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I woke up in agonizing pain. Searched everywhere in Denver for a massage appointment. Finally found one at the Woodhouse in Golden. Drove to Golden, checked in and was told to change into a robe and wait in the quiet room. After a half hour, I went to the front desk to see if there was an issue since I was still waiting and the front desk attendant told me that my appointment was booked at the same time as someone else and she didnt know what happened. She told me that she was sorry and that they would have to reschedule. I changed and came back out and then was told that my appointment was actually for next week. Im not sure why she said it was today when I first went to the desk and Im not sure why it said today when I first booked the appointment. Maybe she changed it? I have no idea. I asked her why I was checked in and told to go change and wait if I didnt have an appointment and she said there were new staff orienting at the front desk and thats probably what happened. Complete hot-mess and a waste of my valuable time. An hour and a half later, Im at home, more stressed and in more pain than I was to start.

I received a manicure and paid extra $15 for the luxury hand retreat. What a waste of money, better with anyone else at $40 for the same service. The technician was very nice, so I have no complaints there; however, I did not get my money’s worth. From the description, it sounded like I would be receiving a top-of-the-line manicure. Their description is very deceiving. Basically, I received an $80 cuticle removal. A polish was NOT included as indicated in description. Technician said that it would just crack. Mediocre exfoliation, not what I was expecting, like it was a pain for the technician to do, barely a massage. The lotion was very good. But not much else to say about that. Three nails have lines on them; I asked about it as they are constantly cracking on me. She said they were strong nails. Two days after treatment, all three cracked, and I had to file them. On top of that, both my thumbs are inflamed, red at the cuticle and painful.Then, when I went to check out, I felt very pressured to leave a tip. I left a 20% tip because I felt guilty. Being pressured to leave a tip is unacceptable, we should be given that choice and say that at payment, not told how much I wanted to leave. Very disappointed, glad this was a gift card I won at a party. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to use the rest of it because it will not cover the amount of any of their other services.

I love coming to this spa for all of their services. Their customer service and atmosphere is wonderful.

I see Andrea for the anti-aging facial. She is amazing, and it is so relaxing. My skin feels so much better after seeing her. She is very sweet, and knowledgeable. Even extractions are pleasant, lol! She is able to do, and leave the smallest red dot; very easily covered with makeup. Highly recommend Andrea!!!

I made an appointment online. This salon is always busy,not many openings. They had 1 at 4:30 on Tuesday. Not the best time for me but I was desperate for a pedicure. When I arrived they told me I was not on their schedule, in fact they dont offer 4:30 appointments . Well, what could I do. Unfortunately I remember this happening a year ago when I booked online. I was not paying attention. I did not receive a confirmation text. But it did allow me to chose a day and time and submit. Im not crazy.I love this Spa, I was very disappointed. But I caution you with online appointments.Im so bummed.

I had such a healing day at Woodhouse. The space is beautiful and so cozy. I had the most amazing body treatment and facial with Andrea. She took such great care of me!

Wonderful experience! I have been to other woodhouse locations and this was the best facial I’ve had at any one! Good selection of services, beverages and snacks. The rooms are always very clean, well stocked and relaxing. Love the atmosphere at Woodhouse spas and I always can’t wait to go again.

Update:The manager got in touch with me and corrected the situation. I would recommend the business based on this and their willingness to do right by the customer. Do your research to compare other services and prices. My skin (face, neck, ears, chest) is still recovering, however I have the mental satisfaction knowing I was taken care of by the manager personally with this issue.Original: My experience started out well enough, but it declined quickly. I was very excited to try this spa and the features they offer. Unfortunately, I experienced varying issues. When I called and spoke with a representative, they told me my hydra facial could be combined with the microdermabrasion. I was interested in both treatments. They also notified me to show up at 1:15pm even though my appointment was at 2pm. The accommodations are nice (robe, bathroom, shower, lotions, tea, snacks) and the atmosphere is relaxing. However, I ended up waiting 45 mins until someone finally grabbed me at 2:09pm. The esthetician informed me we would just be doing the hydra facial and not the microdermabrasion because it is not recommended to do both and she said I would get the same results. She also notified me the front desk gals aren’t aware of all the differences as to why or why not a treatment would be available. The service was wonderful, she was extremely knowledgeable. Sadly, when she recommended a serum for my face (I let her know I had eczema and sensitive skin) what was sold to me caused my face, skin and ears to break out into a rash and eczema flare up! It burned, turned everything red, was itchy, flakey and uncomfortable. I didn’t change my skin care routine at all except for using this product. I felt rushed out of the building when my treatment was done. My nose also had a scab from the facial treatment which was painful and flaked for a day or so. I will be returning the serum to get a full refund and will go back to Hand & Stone. I’ve never had any issues with their treatments or the products they’ve sold and recommended to me. They are also a third of the price. So much for the facial, it was initially great but the product ruined my face.Will update once I am able to speak with someone here about this situation.

Enjoyed a nice facial and also a massage about a month ago. Great atmosphere and therapist was solid. Kinda picky as I’m a massage therapist myself. Make sure to get there early for time in quiet room before too!

I really enjoy the Woodhouse Spa! Its always a treat to come here. Pedicures and facial are my favorite treatments at this location. Staff is friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The whole experience is must have and must do!

Before writing this review I gave Woodhouse Spa two different forms of feedback and requested to be contacted. One on a feedback form and a survey they sent. They have not responded to either.The environment is lovely. Sitting in the quiet room before my massage was the best part.The massage was very mediocre. I communicated with my therapist that I wanted to have my muscles worked out and even sore the next day. It was the lightest message I have ever had. At some points it was like someone was just rubbing me. Unfortunately both the massage and customer service fell short.

What an amazing experience! I was in Colorado on vacation and was pleasantly surprised when I called and they accepted my same day appointment. From the ambiance, decor, customer service, and staff; EVERYTHING was 5 star! Not one detail went untouched from the lounge to the relaxation room to the treatment rooms. This was one of the best spas I have been in and would highly recommend it. I had such an amazing relaxing day, and it couldnt have been a better addition to my vacation!

Great Ambiance. Place is super clean, meticulous in every way. Cool setting in old town Golden. Loved the pre-massage treatment of a nice robe, relaxing fireplace setting with my wife for a glass of wine and quiet conversation. Was a great way to start the nice.The massages. We went here on Valentines day for a couples 55 minute massage. My wife and I are both ex-athletes and have used massage for years for relaxation and therapy. We have extremely high expectations for our massage experience so our review may not be fair.I would imagine for many people, the massage experience would be great. For us it was disappointing. I filled out the forms stating exactly what I wanted, what ares of the body were my trouble spots and what I wanted worked on. What I received (though I said a couple times, please do this) was a mediocre all body massage that didnt feel that great. My wife was a little less disappointed, but the last 10 minutes I was just waiting for it to be over.Again, I have very high standards and understand that a place like this has a hard time hiring and keeping super high quality people since the best ones will often leave and start their own business.The experience/facility itself was wonderful and I would recommend (based on our experience) highly for someone who does not have much massage experience and wants a peaceful, relaxing environment.

I thoroughly enjoyed my massage and lymphatic drain from Autumn. She was very professional yet comforting which is such a nice combo. The entire experience was wonderful and almost dream like. The atmosphere in the spa is lovely. It has an old-world spa style feel to it when you walk through the halls. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and you feel all cozy inside while there. The relaxation room they put you in before and after the session is amazing. That room is absolutely stunning with a fireplace with soothing, luxurious feel about it that makes you smile inside and out. I would highly recommend this spa to my family and friends. Totally worth the experience!

I planned a special weekend for my husband and had booked a couples massage weeks in advance. We arrive today and our massage therapists greet us and tell us the duet room was booked for the day, so we needed to be separate. I was super bummed and confused because I called and made an appointment specifically for a couples massage. I would not have even booked it if we were going to be separate, it was about us being together. Both of our massages were okay, nothing amazing, and both just super bummed. I was near tears because I was so excited for the couples massage and the point was to do something together. Felt like a waste of money and not the experience we were hoping for. We also did not get much explanation as to the mix up or why it was booked for the day as I thought I had it booked. Overall not the best experience and was still pricey for something we hadnt even booked.

I had an 80-min Swedish massage with Dyrell. He was so nice and the massage was amazing. Just the right amount of pressure to work out all the kinks while also keeping me relaxed. As the minutes passed, I was just melting further and further into the table. By the end, I felt like jello in the best way possible. I feel so relaxed and rejuvenated. Will definitely be back and will ask for him again.

From when I originally called to set up an appointment (one day before!!) to checking out, the staff was nothing but accommodating and welcoming. We were facing a winter storm and they were flexible with timing. I stopped in for a quick manicure and pedicure after driving in from hiking the Big Five in Utah just before getting engagement photos in the mountains. I love that the spa is in an old renovated house and the details were perfect and relaxing. The complimentary glass of wine was also a great addition! I never get my nails done so a standard polish manicure/pedicure is what I chose. Tula did an amazing job and was extremely personable and professional. I appreciated how seriously they took COVID precautions and they made an effort to maintain social distancing in addition to masks. I loved this place so much that I scheduled a couples massage for when we come back in May to elope!!

Indeed, the space is tranquil and pleasantly relaxing to the senses. The scents are subtle, & calming. Loved the luxuries robe, and mimosa, fresh water with cucumber and tea.We received lavender, sugar scrub foot scrubs and pedicures that were excellent.Unfortunately, the manicure services fell short for me. We did change up in the process at the recommendation of the technicians and I believe they had the best intentions. My daughter ended up with Shellac to support nail growth, which in turn, had me switch to an express. I ended with my hands still dry, cuticles still a bit shabby and my nail painting-not the best. But, the gal was so sweet, and cut and shaped them perfectly. Maybe-next time, if I stick with what we planned, the result would be perfect?I would definitely try again with this spot, lovely, and lovely staff.

We love having this trusted spot in Golden. My husband and I got a couples massage here post Valentines Day and were both very pleased. My massage with Ron was the best massage Ive ever had (and I get massages almost monthly). I got a microdermabrasion facial a few days after and it was lovely, too. My only feedback would be that the phones were not working when we arrived for our massages and we were not able to relax in the quiet room before them. Additionally, prior to booking my facial I wasnt asked/warned about what products I was using (retinol in particular) which should have been asked at booking. Well be back.

I had a massage with my friend Stephanie about 1 month ago. We both had deep tissue massages. I am a very athletic individual and seek massage/meditative therapy for body/mind restoration. My was massage was mediocre. In efforts to try and make The Woodhouse Day Spa work, as I love the ambiance of the establishment, I booked a duet massage with my boyfriend. I thought that maybe another massage therapist and a new experience for both of us would reset my feelings regarding the services rendered. My 80 minute massage was grueling and painful. I had told my massage therapist medium pressure and even asked for her to go easier. Multiple times I had to hold my breath and allow the painful massage to carry on to not interrupt my boyfriends massage. After the massage, I asked my boyfriend how his was... and he responded with okay. He had told his therapist to work him out and moderate-heavy pressure. He received soft pressure which he described as unsatisfying. My boyfriend and I were unable to connect and enjoy our experience. Again, the amenities were great but I wish I was able to enjoy the little time I have off.

This is my happy place! Ive been maybe a dozen times and always have a great experience. The service is exceptional and the space is pristine. Ive gone with my mom, who can be rather needy, several times and everyone is super friendly and accommodating. The prices are a bit high, but very worth it. I really appreciate that they offer discounts and specials (via email newsletter) that make it possible for me to keep coming back.

I had several services done on a Friday afternoon, and my time at this spa was relaxing, luxurious and tranquil from start to finish. From the personal touches to the friendly staff, everything about my experience was exquisite. I cannot recommend this establishment highly enough if you are looking for a day of pampering and self-care!

The Woodhouse Day Spa in Golden is a true treasure in the West Metro area! Located in a gorgeous old Victorian building, its like walking into a different world. The staff is wonderful and my facial was fantastic. Loved introducing a friend to this lovely place...hanging out in the quiet room...drinking wine. It doesnt get any better than this place!

This may have been the best massage I have ever received. I was having some upper back and neck pain after a long weekend of hiking and MTB. I came to Woodhouse for the first time and received an 80 massage from Rachel. It was wonderful. She listened to what I was requesting and I walked out feeling so much better.Side note due to the times we are in: I felt very COVID safe - they have measures in place where you never see another guest. You call from the parking lot and they come get you. Everything is sanitized and masks are worn the entire time.HIGHLY recommend and I will be back!

I got a facial from Andrea and my aging skin looked great! I also sat in the quiet room after reading a book, enjoying a nice glass of wine and snacks. Very delightful experience and will definitely be back!

Alana gave me one of the best massages of my life, thank you! My only criticism of Woodhouse is the Here is the locker room, grab yourself a robe and slippers from over there.. If I am paying over $150, I feel like that isnt something I should have to get for myself. Might sound silly, but no other spa I have been to has left that to the guest. All other aspect of guest care were impeccable.

Went for a couples massage. Had Meredith and Tom and both were great. Hot robes to put on, quite room before and after message withbeverages of your choice and snacks. Extremely nice and clean. Have been to Urban Spa and now this place... would highly recommend this place first.

Sometimes a 5 for facials, usually an average or bad massage. Stopped one massage 15 minutes in. It was that inadequate. Facial last week was amazing. AFTER complaining about massages I have been banned by the owner. Give better Swedish massages and problem would be solved. That’s perfect. Sensitive much? Give better massages. I will miss the oxygen facial.

I had an exceptional Mellow Mama massage with Meredith. She was personable and professional. Even got to learn a little bit of history about the property. The spa was elegant, calming and so beautiful. I will be back for another one soon!

Ive been here a few times for massages, and Im always quite pleased with the atmosphere and services. The price is reasonable, they often run promos to bring it down a bit more, and pre-covid, they had the full spa experience. Nothing feels better than being wrapped up in a fluffy towel robe and eating salty snacks in the peaceful sitting room. I dont indulge in spa days often, but Ive never regretted booking here. I eagerly await the end of covid to experience the bliss again. Thanks for all of your amazing work!

Very relaxing! They encourage you to show up 30 minutes early for your appointment. Do so! Spend the time relaxing in the quiet room in your robe to have a snack, tea, or wine. My wife and I enjoyed our couples manage, and will be back.

Massage was just okay. Very pricey. 45 minutes for $110 plus tip. The ambiance is what you pay for. Beautiful house they turned into a spa. Staff were very friendly.

Hi! I was in for a facial with Callea and had an outstanding experience. She explained everything so that I understood the importance of each part of the facial for my skin and she made me feel very comfortable. I was beyond relaxed during the facial (and for hours after). My face feels amazing! I will definitely be returning. Thanks, Callea! You were great!

This place provides a relaxing experience and environment where everything you need has been taken care of; lockers with electronic locks (and a personal pin), comfy ropes and sandals (not the rubber flip flops other places use but actual sandals with massaging bottoms), a quiet room with select drinks and healthy snacks available and of course incredible/knowledgeable staff who provide incredible services. I always look forward to coming here and leaving completely rejuvenated!

Weve been going here a while and Ive never had a bad experience. Now with covid theyre taking every precaution to make sure everyone is safe and it doesnt ruin the experience. So if you need a massage or a spa day but are scared due to covid this is your place to go.

Andrea is an amazing esthetician. My face is looking more and more amazing through the facials I periodically receive. The atmosphere is relaxing and rejuvenating as well. I recommend treating yourself at the Woodhouse Day Spa.

Nice ambiance and helpful finding a certificate given to mom she had lost so she can use it. Mom in wheelchair and the handicap parking space was where all the snow was pushed. the sidewalk to the handicap entrance was not shoveled. She had snow on her toes since had to be pushed through snow as she can’t wear shoes anymore. Update. I asked if they could clean sidewalk so when mom came out she could get through easily and they did.

The girls and I gathered here for a pre wedding relaxation day and the ladies here at the spa treated us like ABSOLUTE Queens! The ladies at the spa are SUPER amazing at doing their job. I was treated to multiple services from my family and future family, I had a volcanic stone massage, mud wrap (with viche (sp) shower), pedicure and eye compression treatment. ALL of these services were above and beyond amazing. We also had lunch catered by an amazing local place and with the Woodhouse Day Spa being able to serve alcoholic beverages--we all were in heaven. BIG time thanks to these amazing ladies and we cant wait to come back!!

Cant say enough positive things about Woodhouse, the staff, and the owner. They do so much to make you feel special every time, regardless of what service you are there for. Its so hard to leave, but so sweet to go back.

Woodhouse pedicures are my favorite pedicures. The ambiance at the Denver location might be better but the prices here are like 10% cheaper, so it balances out.

LOVE, LOVE this place, the services and the providers!Only disappointment is that they have revamped their services menu and got rid of one of my favorite service - the Tula (express mani and pedi). Still, one of the nicest spa providers and locations.

The only family thing about any job is the dysfunction, the judgement, and lack of accountability if you go through any trauma during that work session. Dont be manipulated by these people.
