I booked VIP table 7 for the date BEAUZ performed, and it was a night to remember.I had a nice view of the stage and the vibes were immaculate. Kudos to bottle service ; I didn’t realize that their bartending team had to revisit our table continuously through the night to refill our mixers and cups. Props to them navigating through the crowd while carrying all the supplies!The booking process was simple; I texted with Monica and Michael, and they responded quickly. I asked many questions, and they graciously answered them. For example, my friend accidentally shipped a gift for me to Pure. I asked Michael and Monica if they would hold onto it for me, and they assured me a waitress would give it to me on my event day.Additional features I enjoyed: Pure has a photographer, taking photos of guests in front of their backdrop. The women’s restroom has an attendant to ensure people aren’t taking too long in the stalls.

I recently had an unfortunate experience at this nightclub, which I feel compelled to share. The dress code enforcement was not only peculiar but inconsistently applied, leading to confusion and frustration among patrons.Moreover, the behavior of the security staff was highly unprofessional and discourteous. Their lack of basic manners and hostile demeanor significantly marred the overall atmosphere.Additionally, it was alarming to see a noticeable presence of underage individuals within the premises. This raises serious concerns about the clubs adherence to legal and safety regulations.Overall, my experience at this nightclub was far from satisfactory. Improvements in staff training, enforcement of a clear and reasonable dress code, and strict age verification procedures are urgently needed to enhance the safety and enjoyment of all guests.

This place bombs, dont come here because they are trying to juice every dollar out of you. The ownership is more interested in making a buck rather than having their patrons enjoy a better time. No going in and out and the rude service from the bouncers is unacceptable. will not be coming back here.

The ticket prices are reasonable for the DJs they pull in. Sometimes they have guestlist with a cutoff time like 10:30 but they deliberately let people trickle in slowly so sometimes people end up paying the door price which is significantly more than online ticket prices.This is a relatively tame crowd compared to downtown SJ and SF. Its always funny hearing the DJs call out, whats up, Sunnyvale! like its actually a city that people have heard of outside the bay. If you like a hyped up crowd with some dance circles and raunchy ratchness, this aint it. But it is chill, and there is so much parking. My go-to is the lot in the back.Lots of places to drink, dance, and eat beforehand right on Murphy Street, Irish pubs, dive bars, wine bars.The bouncers are bound to be rude but there are some not overly power tripping ones. The bathrooms are clean and the drinks are reasonably priced. Small smoking area outside on the right exit facing the stage.

Head of security (short angry looking guy) in full police armor is a creep, very obviously oogling the women in rave lingerie only to kick me out for wearing a tank. Ive literally never had an issue with security with all the shows I go to - comical that a tank top was enough for them to kick me out.0/10 would not recommend this place. Go to the Midway or Halycon/Audio/DNA instead.

The best nightclub in bay area. Awesome ambiance and crowd. Just go when there is some event it mostly gets sold out.

Had a birthday party with bottle service. We had a lot of fun, great service at the door.

Actually a very cool venue for Sunnyvale (where I’ve lived al my life). Came here to see a pretty big name DJ and it’s nice cause not a lot of people know about the club so it doesn’t get too crowded.Shows start pretty late but there’s no trouble at all getting out of the venue or getting transportation home.Drinks are about $10 each and they’re made well - pretty easy to drink without being too watered down.A lot of private tables available for reservation and it’s a pretty sleek and cool vibe inside so I’d definitely come back for future shows.

This place is just like heaven! Especially the security guy - Tony! He is living god!🙏 he helped me alot at late night till I get into uber safely, because I got teased by a man! so, he immediately responded and Not just him, but the whole security who stands before the club, was very protective towards people! I read some reviews talking about prices! But they are worth that price!!! Nice safe place especially for women! I am deeply impressed! Sometimes we should also consider going to place not just for fun but also with added security and this is the place!!!!!!!!!!!!🩷

A great place to get up close and personal with your favorite singers.Saw Haliene and AMIDY here. Lots of smaller EDM artists swing by here occasionally as well.Getting in was super easy and quick, no long lines, at least when I went. They pat you down and check inside your bags. There is a strict dress code for guys so pay attention.Can get a little heated and overcrowded especially near the front. You can pay money to get a booth. The DJs will give you a shoutout if there is a special occasion at the boothBouncers were super niceStay alert to your surroundings.Water is free! Stay hydrated!Drinks are pricey as usual, to be expected. A vodka coke was 12ish, AMF was 16ishThere is one bathroom for women and another for men, about 3-4 stalls each. Sometimes lines can get long.Overall I had a great time. Got to touch the singers hands and it was great!!

Bouncers were pretty dam rude after ordering me to turn around. I simply asked for a please and thank you yet got disrespected again. After as much as we paid for on a birthday night and bottle service. This is the type of treatment yoy will get because they are bouncers and are entitled to talk to you as they please. Kinda waste of the extra money and experience. Respect.

Security was a nightmare. They misbehaved with me when I enquired about why they werent letting a friend of mine in. We were a group of 15 and they refused 1 person from being let in.

I went to the see wuki last night and it was awesome ! Coming in the bouncers were really nice. My friend and I went to get a drink at around 10:50 before it started getting busy. I was ordering 3 drinks in total the guy bartender ask for my order so i asked for my boyfriend drink but when it came to ask for my friends drink I took just a second to think of the name and the bartender walked away from me and started helping someone else ! I thought that was extremely rude ! Later on in the night a girl up in the Tables by the dj was dancing but her dress coming up , I told the security guard to let her know and then he grabbed me , GENTLY SLAPPED MY CHEEK 3 TIMES and told me to leave him alone then proceeded to tell my boyfriend something about me, HOW DARE HE PUT HANDS ON ME ! Then Before the dj stopped playing we were about to leave but needed to use the restroom . At that point there was a security guard guarding it . I asked if I could use it and he told my friend and I THAT HOW MUCH WERE WE WILLING TO PAY HIM TO LET US GO IN!! HE TRIED TO CHARGE US TO USE THE RESTROOM! never have I ever had such a horrible experience at a club . They should really watch how they treat their customers and for the secury guard that slapped me he should really get fired for the way he treats people

3 of my close friends hosted their combined birthday party here this past Saturday. We got Bottle Service to a table and had a decent time overall. 1/5 due to two main reasons:1. Overpriced drinks2. Sticky and unhygienic floors and smell3. Very rowdy characters trying to pick fights for no reason that the Security was incapable of throwing out4. Unnecessary Ushers in the Urinals that were pretty rude and wouldnt even open up Restroom stallsFor the Premium paid for Bottle Service, Id suggest you go spend your money elsewhere (plenty of good night clubs in SF).Come on Pure Nightclub, Step up your game!

Meh, weak drinks and atmosphere feels like high school dances... Bunch of nerds trying to be cool lol no dress code enforcement I saw people wearing sneakers and t shirts whatt a disappointed not coming back. BORING

Celebrate my 30th birthday this past weekend. Me and my friends had a blast in the VIP AREA. My 30th birthday celebration was a success thanks to Monica the coordinator. She is absolutely helpful and always with a great attitude to make you night especial. Thanks Monica for all the help.

Really fun place for EDM lovers. Chill, PLUR people who just love to dance. Had a blast seeing Dubvision here!

My Wife and I have been to Pure over 50 times with consistently great service. From my point of view, it unbelievable what the security folks have to deal with on a nightly basis. The key formula is patience and treat everyone with respect which included tipping the coat and restroom personnel. Two points for me: 1) Play more House music on Fridays and have Titos vodka ready for my Red bull. P.S. Kat says Hi.

The event was fun. but it real crowded and i got a little bruised. They definitely oversold and overpacked the place.i wouldnt buy a drink here for various reasons. also security was not really chill and you could see people getting kicked/dragged out for unknown reasons.not a fan of the dress code either. doesnt seem fairly enforced among different people

Worst club Ive been to. Sound system too loud, just woofing bass, cant hear midrange or vocals clearly at all. They either have no audio engineer, bought a cheap sound system, or both. Club had too many people in it, so there was no room to dance anyways. I saw a big act DJ who normally brilliant, but the sound system and being too crowded ruined it for me. I flew from Seattle just to see this DJ, so ended up being over $1000 of wasted money because the club was so horrible. Bar staff were rude acting like you were inconveniencing them asking for a drink. Cloak room didnt accept cards, only cash, but the ATM was out of service, (not a surprise, the vibe is that the owner is cheap), and they didnt accept pass-outs, and the clock roam chick didnt care that I was in a bind because of their broken ATM and wouldnt take my Jacket for free as a result.If you are reading this review, and are seeing a big DJ / act, do not go! Save your money and see them elsewhere, or watch them on YouTube in your living room with some mates over, youll have a better experience than this club.

I had a great time when Sick Individuals performed. It was worth the drive from Sacramento to Sunnyvale.

Pure scam!!!!! Even when i had ticket and was there before 11pm they charged me $30. Before i get into the club first guy who checks ID he said i have to pay $20 because my ticket is no longer active after 11pm but i was standing in line 30 min like everybody else. I passed first level, told him ok thats fine i will pay. Second step is to pass security level. security guy checked my clothes, he said i have to pay $25 on door after i passed security check. I went at door where they sell ticket they have small box office and woman there said ticked price is $30. This is how they charge people there. Pure liars!!!!!!!!!!

We had a blast a celebration of the bride and groom Even Tho the artist that they had did not show up the club was packed and full of good looking ppl no drama the venue is nice we got a bottle service section we got 2 bottles of Hennessy and a champagne as well as u can see by the two pics it’s possible to have a great time here Pull up 4 stars cause Fetty Wap did not show up

One of the best night clubs in Bay Area with very decent upscale crowd.

First time out in a while. Surprised such a place existed in Sunnyvale. Ok time but we were annoyed the main act didnt come till 12:30... Display broke halfway through the night and kept showing solid red bars...

People who buy tix, gets mixed in with the free b4 11pm line and screws everything up. There is a dis advantage for buying a tix early to be waiting in the same line held up for 30m with folks that dont have tix or trying to get in for free. Sound system is dangerously loud to the ear and damaging. VIP line or a separate entrance for folk with pre tickets would help when there are so many VIP tables. When a DJ comes into town, you are packed like sardines so absolutely no room to dance.

Visited this club for Gareth Emery performance. The venue is good, but a bit overcrowded. Unfortunately the sound was a bit awful, subs sounds like pooping into water and too loud.

A fun nightclub but the security was absolutely ridiculous. Everyone in my group was let in except for one. We all had valid ids but they seemed to have a vendetta. Petty security ruined the experience for us. I hope the reconsider how they treat their paying customers in the future. It will be hard to come back. Redheads not allowed in.

Overall great experience at this nightclub! Its local for me so I go here quite often. The drinks are good as well. They get some really great artists playing here on a pretty consistent basis. I recommend checking this place out!

Security sucks here. I enjoy the music they play, but the security acts like they are cops. Not even clubs in DTSJ act like this. Club isn’t always packed either. Security confiscated my wax pen and started to lecture the laws to me as if I don’t know. I’ve been there multiple times with my wax pen and they never told me anything. I only ditched the wax pen b/c I was trying to have a good time and a wax cart ain’t nothing to me. I thought that was odd. Now I know why it’s always dead, security sucks. Not-Cops

Honestly i’m very impressed by the DJs the owners are able to bring to the club. I love the venue for that BUT! the security that got hired is wildly absurd. If this was DTSF I would completely understand having a security force this intense but this nightclub is in opulent Sunnyvale. Security at this club has grown a reputation for starting with violence & asking questions later.

Let me start by saying I love the DJs the owners bring to the club but the security is absurd. I can understand having crazy security in DTSF but this club is in opulent Sunnyvale. The guards have a reputation to over reach, act violently, & behave unprofessionally. The club has continuously become more and more empty, & it’s clear why……the security guards are out of control.

Although the atmosphere is awesome, one security guy mentioned that white party September 25th was free before 11pm so long as people made line, I still have to pay $20 up front. It seems unfair that I still have to pay for me to have enter since the security guy make it sound that I didn’t have to pay the $20 entrance. I’ll never go back to this place since management is unprofessional about their policies. Make sure you record security guys what they say since they can tell you different stuff.

Staff was incredibly rude. Our group had a table & bottle service and the staff refused to let the rest of our group in. We were told that if we bought more bottles, they would let them in. We bought 4 and then they changed their story - claiming that they never said that they would. Our table had 5 inside and we waiting on the last two people (7 all together). Security even complained that the owner is strict and that people have been quitting because they are awful.

The best experience of my life, this is my favorite place to go to dance, if you like the electronic music or favorite DJ, this is the place, in here I meet for the first time to one of the greatest DJ recognized worldwide, Jefrey Sutorious, and Pure night club made it possible, after wait around 4 years, way to go PURE night club.Also if you wanted to celebrate your birthday party this is the place, a bit expensive but the experience unforgettable, I celebrated my birthday in march and was amazing, best birthday party ever!!!!

Hi Everyone,I went to this club on March-4 and was extremely disappointed with the way things are run over there.Firstly, the club staff is very rude so do not expect any friendly vibe at the place.Secondly, the artists in the club do not place good music at all since the club tries to bring in the cheapest possible artists.Thirdly, the bouncers at the club are very bossy and difficult to deal with. There was a Chinese guy who was visiting the states on business and had come to the club but was not allowed in because he had no US government ID. He tried to show his passport scan, his original driving license, his flight tickets, other Chinese government issued document, etc. but the security did not even listen to him properly.Lastly, the crowd inside is very cheap (like the whole place) and do not have a self control. I know that these places do not boast of very high human standards but molesting someone is out of limits. The club management also turns a blind eye to these things.My dearest request to everyone that please try to avoid this place as much as possible. It is not worth your money and time!

I went there for the RIOT Halloween Party. It was a lot of fun. A lot of people were in costumes and the crowd was pretty good. Although I was not a big fan of the DJ and the bar service was not great either, but overall experience was good and I would definitely go back there!

Wanted to charge $5 for water (literally everywhere else I have ever been provided water for free). Went on a Friday night and was still pretty dead when we left ~12. Came in through guest list, which went smoothly (happy I didnt pay anything), but when leaving it didnt seem like there was any re-entry without paying the cover. Drinks seemed expensive as well, and werent good

Crowd can be dead even on a Saturday. Past weekend with Yultron was one of the dryest nights I’ve had. Will stick to SF from now. Not worth the wait or anticipation.

I go to Pure almost weekly because of their dj line up. Bartenders are great, security staff is quick to act if needed, and the owners are friendly. As with any club crowd, there are a few bad eggs but for the most part the crowds here are very good.

The club was a lot of fun. And the resident dj kept us going all night. But I’m here to thank Monica. I feel like she went above and beyond her needs. She kept checking up on us. And making sure we were good. I’m 33 years old. And have had my fare share of bottle service. But nothing like this. Monica thank you for everything. And can’t wait to go back. First timer btw. For sure won’t be our last.

They took away my expensive vape and never gave it back it to me. The dj was so lame on a saturday night and the club was pretty much dead. I would not recommend anybody to spend their night here

I came to Pure for the first time last night for Dash Berlin. Let me tell you....worst experience Ive had in a long time. How can such a tiny place have so many safety hazzards? The hallways arent lit, there are random stairs everywhere with no caution tape. I saw so many people fall or trip that Im amazed they havent been sued. Now lets get to the music, thats what everyone goes for right? My friends and and are big Dash fans, and were extatic to see him....he didnt go on until 12:30am on a Tuesday night when he was promoted for 10-2. Maybe Im being naive but if you pay to see a performer, you should at least get 2 hours considering most clubs cut off at 1:15-1:30. Prior to that, there was no dj...just random and truly awful music with an attempt to edm that was an epic failure. I wish I could post a video of how awful the music was. I even tried to talk to the manager to try and get a refund and she was no where to be found. To all who read my review, please dont waste your money at a place like this. Just stay in rather than go to pure.

Extremely rude staff. Bouncers exercise more power they actually have. A lot of them on power trip. They don’t actually protect customers’ safety and well-being. They pay more attention to coming off as more authoritarian and “in control” than their minimum wage paychecks actually allow them. Sunnyvale, San Jose, and nearby neighborhoods have great clubs. Don’t pay for Pure nightclub unless you purposely search for aggressive, demeaning, insecure bouncers.

Cool layout and setup. Good live DJs. Once the DJs start there’s zero line for drinks because everyone’s dancing. Only 2 or 3 stalls in the bathroom, unfortunate for a bar, and you know drunk people and bathrooms... just have to yell at the ladies to get out and they usually listen! Good times at Pure.

I had such a wonderful experience with every one of the staff I came into contact with! Ramone especially, he was incredibly nice and promptly helpful with every request as the night went on. The service never stopped! Clean facilities, and impeccable customer service! My friends and I will be back.

CASH ONLY! Would have been great if that was advertised anywhere. Its 2016 man be truthful on your taxes and dont be cash only. The bouncers asked me to get out of line because I was drinking water and said no beverages in line. There were three people in line behind me and told me I was holding up the line while My friend stepped out of line to have some water.

As a club, this place is very cool, but thats just it... its a club! NOT a concert venue! They have definitely upgraded the look and feel of the place, since the days when it was The Forum (I know, I used to work there). Theyve installed a killer all new sound system, amazing lighting rig, excellent unique visuals on a big one of a kind 3-dimentional video screen up behind the DJ booth, which is now front and center on the main stage. Not to mention, they book some EPIC EDM artists to perform there, regularly! Though, I gotta say, its a TERRIBLE place see a show! The whole main room is filled with an island of bottle service booths (where there used to be a nice size open dance floor area). All these booths leave hardly any room to move around or simply watch the DJ perform, let alone dance! On top of that, the vibe from the crowd sucks! This place attracts club-goers... its a nightclub. So if youre thinking of going there to see a DJ, just know, its not a music venue. Expect to be constantly shoved around by overly drunk asian kids, who all look like theyre too young to even be allowed in there, as they fall all over the place just to get to their table because theyre celebrating a friends 21st birthday, and love to keep yelling and screaming over the music because none of them even know whos playing, let alone care. Then, if youre lucky, youll probably end up being caught right in the middle of one of the multiple fights that break out twords the end of the night by some of the immature wasted punks that have been stepping on your feet all night, or you may even get puked on by the 21 year old or one of her friends! Seriously... wouldnt that be fun! I had a very similar experience, and all I was trying to do was enjoy watching Gareth Emery play a DJ set. ...Meh.

Very bad experience, never go back there again. Securty guys were real jerks, i did not bring my passport with myself so they didnt let me in (i had my european goverment id), so i had to go back to the hotel(in Palo Alto) to grab it, when i got back to the club i was told sorry no you are not on the Free Guest List anymore, you have to pay if you want to come in.Ok, i paid the 20buck(i wish i didnt), and finally got in the club, which is very small only one room with the terrible music, nothing special.

I can’t believe that your workers would falsely accuse people of damaging their cars to security. I barely taped this white girls car and I apologized for and she still snitched to security to have is thrown out. I love this club and I do come here alot but the fact that she did that even after I apologized for barely taping her truck was rude and childish. To this white blonde woman I hope you are happy for this because even when you did get out of your truck you never said anything to me so I hope you are happy. Never coming or bringing my rave fave to this club. This injustice was messed up and as a black woman you should have at least said something to me while I was still standing by your truck even tho I apologized. My friends and I got kicked out because of you. I hope you are happy And I have pictures of your truck and license plate and I know that you work of this club as well.

Worst night club ever. Rude staff, bar tenders, security guards and manager. You will not expect such bad service after paying 30$ cover charges. Their bartender forgot to add liquor and gave me pure soda ...when I complained they asked us to leave and gave us hard time in giving our jacket back which we left inside while having the conversation with the manager... I tried to ask the name of manager which he refused to give..... I am not going back there again...

Went here on a Saturday night only to have my out of state ID broken by the bouncer! If you are out of state and brown skinned, do not go here! The staff are very rude. They are very selective with the people they want to let in. I tried getting in touch with the manager and never got a respond back from anyone. Worst experience ever, never will i ever go back.

STAY AWAY, This place is pretty awful, and they have a pretty insane dress, they dont play EDM that often, and they charged $20 to get in.When I first arrived at 9:30pm the security guard told me they would be playing EDM and stuff, and said nothing about what I was wearing and said to wait in line, club opens at 10pm I get in line, then they say sorry you cant wear nikes, By the way they were playing straight EDM at that moment at 10:00 pm, I go back to my hotel throw on some different shoes, all cool, nope, I get inside the club, I was in there for about 5 minutes and there playing straight awful rap music, I turn around and ask for a refund, the manager refused to give a refund, said no refunds, and said you should of known, how would someone form out of town know? What a big EGO this club has, what kind of customer service is this, this place is just plain awful. Stay away before you waste your money and get scammed. Filed a complaint with the attorney general office. It looks like Im not the only person who was let down by this place.If this guy just refunded me, I would of left a good review for customer service.

I had an awful experience. The clubs security guard was so disrespectful when he was checking my clothes and they asked me to pay $20 cover even though I was on the guest list and got there just before 11pm. I wont go there again and I strongly recommend that you avoid this club.

Fancy South Bay people visit this place, where the music can be surprisingly good once in a while, when they invite famous artists / DJs. Arrive very early for the guest list, the line is artificially slowed down the make half of the people miss the time limit.

What a shame.This club hosts some of my favorite DJs of all time.But it also hosts some of the rudest staff in the area, kids barely old enough to drink that cant hold their liquor, and douchebags trying to cup a feel on my wife.

Very poorly designed.They oversold the venue and nobody had a decent place to stick around.Bartenders have to shove everyone to walk around the booths, which are all over the place.

Should make it very obvious about the dress code, and include it on tickets. Just a bad experience when you get turned away, even when you paid for tickets already.

NO RECEPTION IN NIGHTCLUB. Do not leave your friends because you will not find them again unless you have a table. Once you leave, you cant get back in. There is a smoking section way in the back. Tons of guys and not too many girls. Very busy Friday night.

Staff gets violent with guests

Ok, Im kinda old so I dont go clubbing anymore, but I got dragged into coming here with a group. Holy crap the music was so good. I had a great time. I seriously cannot believe this quality of a club is in downtown Sunnyvale.

Security was trying to kick me out first they said i was drunk walking in to people then they said i was smoking when i dont even smoke anyways im on dissability so discrimation people but we paid so much money for me to sit down 1300 for 1 night of vip thats wrong of them to try to kick me out i paid!

I seen some crusty Addidas in this lame place, but they trip off wearing Concords. Still let me in, but the vibe and people are *thumbs down*.. I recommend driving a few minutes to a better city with a fun club!

An alright place to go on the weekends. The crowds are a hit and miss. The music is pretty good. Like any club, the drinks are watered down and over priced.

Best club in south bay, although theres not much competition. They bring in some good artists from time to time, so it can be worth an outing.

Gets very very crowded. Sometimes wasted people bump into you if you’re around VIP area or in the front. On the other side the security and staff try to keep the club clean
