Salon De Elegance

After moving to the area, I needed to find a hair stylist. I looked at all the salons in Greenfield and then saw Chelsey Jean on Facebook and decided to give her a shot at whichever salon she was working at. Shes now been doing my hair ever since! Its been a year and 2 months at this point. I had bleached my hair over the pandemic and she brought me back to a professional color and then move it darker and fun, helped me heal my hair, and has always done a great job in gently caring for my messy curls. I am grateful I found her!Massage is not an option of services to mark on review, but since I was comfortable with Chelsey, I started seeing Danielle Kemp for massage therapy. I get a 90 minute swedish massage with hot stones and aromatherapy. I suffer with arthritis and degenerative disks with radiating pain. Adding massage to my medical care brought so much relief. She does an amazing job and its something I look forward to so much. The table is warm. The space is comfortable and quiet with relaxing music. Danielle is talented at finding the nerves that aggravate my pain and breaking down the knots.

After a mishap trying to fix my hair at home on my own. Dawn came to my rescue and fixed me up she is amazing and so talented! She will forever be my girl for my hair!!!

I haven’t had my hair cut in ten years. Chelsey Jean brushed my annoyingly curly hair out and showed me exactly how much she was going to cut before she even picked up scissors. She didn’t take off more than was necessary, and showed me how one side had grown longer than the other. She evened everything out, the trim was quick and easy, and then she used water so I wasn’t a frizzy disaster when I left. She was very friendly and kind, and answered all of the questions I had in a knowledgeable, helpful way. Gave me some tips, some knowledge and a great looking trim after years of paranoia about haircuts (childhood memories of sportsclips…) and overall an excellent experience. Will be back for trims and will be recommending to anyone I know.

These ladies here are rockstars at hair and makeup! Just got married and I have never felt so beauitful in my life. Cheyenne went above and beyond for my hair and gave me everything i wanted and more. She is truly an artist when it comes to hair. Kaycie did my makeup and it was stunning. She did a great communicating with me on what I was wanting and it held up very well in the heat during my outdoor wedding.Highly recommend them for all your special occasions and even your everyday hair.

Danielle did an amazing job on my treatment today! Not only is she very professional she made me feel comfortable. It was a very relaxing & educational experience. The vibe in the room is very relaxing! 10/10 I will definitely be booking again soon!

I had the best massage from Danielle! I did the sunflower and honey one and it was amazing! My skin was glowing from head to toe and everywhere I went people were complimenting the way I smelled! All that on top of the relaxing full body massage. I will definitely be back for another!Cheyenne has done my husband and sons hair for years. Received a massage today from Libby. Environment was great. I felt totally relaxed. She did such a great job I ended up falling asleep right there on the table for a moment or two. 10/10 would recommend her services to others. Thanks Libby for a great experience!

Tara is my girl!!!!! After only using large chains my whole life, they gave a terrible haircut for the last time. My mom referred me here and I have never looked back. Tara really worked with me to get my hair back in shape and I just feel beautiful again. The salon is stunning and all the staff are so welcoming!

AMAZING!!Cheyenne KILLED IT on my hair! The staff is super nice the environment is calming and feels safe! My first time going was a couple weeks ago and I can say I will INDEFINITELY be a full time client now.

Danielle’s massage treatments are awesome! She has always made me feel comfortable. She asks questions, truly listens to wants and how one is feeling, and knows where treatment is most needed. Her massage therapy is always spot on and fabulous! Highly, highly, highly recommend her massage therapy and facial treatments!

Ive stored stress and everything my whole life. Today was my first massage and Libby took care of me. The total serenity, peace and ultimate relaxation is what I needed. Highly recommend taking care of yourself. I will definitely book again.

I wanted to do something nice for my birthday, so I booked a 90 minute massage at Salon de Elegance. Danielle was fantastic, it felt like she released years of tension in my neck and shoulders. Her training and knowledge are complemented by her love for the work and the healing she provides. I enjoyed it so much that I scheduled another appointment and a facial, since shes also an esthetician. Ill post that review soon!

I saw Chelsea for the first time yesterday and she did not disappoint! ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY HAIR! I wasnt 100% sure how to describe what I normally do. I gave her vague descriptions. I could see her brain processing an idea and she far exceeded my expectations! DEFINITELY going to continue coming back!

I’m always so stinkin’ impressed by Danielle’s services! It doesn’t feel like she rushes through things or half-does other things. She spends time on you and gets to know what you‘re needing (and gets to know you)! I always feel incredibly relaxed and refreshed afterwards. I’m hoping to work her massages/facials into my schedule at least once a month! I just love going!

I have lived in Greenfield my whole life. I have been to every salon in town for some time of style cut or color. Salon De Elegance is hands down the best salon in town! Chelsea does my hair majority of the time and she nails it every time. When you walk into the salon its so beautiful and so are the ladies that work there. Danielle did an excellent job today for my derma plane facial. She explained each step and what she was using. It was very relaxing. I’ve had facials for over 45 years. I feel this is a good value for the cost.

Last Friday I got a facial and a mini massage from Danielle. It was Amazing! She is a very sweet and talented young lady. My daughter is getting married in less than 2 weeks so I am checking things off my list. April has a beautiful shop and Danielle and her services are a beautiful addition to it. Next week Im going back to see Danielle for a massage before the wedding Shenanigans start!

My husband and I booked a 90 minute couples massage. We got there and the sign on the door said closed, which was confusing but we called and they said it should be unlocked. We got there right at 6:00. My husbands masseuse was Libbie, he said she did a great job, though he likes having his face and head rubbed and she didnt do either. My gal (so sorry I cant remember the name) did really good on my upper back/shoulders, but totally missed my lower back and didnt do as great on my hands and feet (all three spots *i believe* i had written on my patient card that i would like those rubbed because they cause me problems). The last 20 minutes, she just played with my hair instead of massaging. I could hear her whispering about how long they had left. At the end, I looked at my phone and it was only 7:05. (I know time for dressing/paying counts toward the massage length, and thats fine, but in what world does that take 25 minutes? Overall, we both left feeling better than we did before we went in, but I was definitely bummed.*updating* you are right, I checked my messages and saw that it was at 6, I text Danielle that night about the closed sign on the door when we were outside the salon at 5:53, so we were still on time for our appointment, but i did get the time wrong in the origional post. I know we were there for 65 minutes, meaning we left at 7:05, not 7:35.Also, the owner did reach out to me directly and apologized for our experience and was so kind. I definitely appreciate their customer service. I also want to mention that the salon is beautiful and I look forward to trying other services here in the future. I will update again in the future.

I dont know how this place stays open, let alone has such good reviews. I had the WORST cut and color experience of my life! I left thinking that the poor girl that did my hair must have been color-blind. It was so bad that I wasnt going to risk anyone there trying to fix my hair. And the prices of their services are comparable to top-notch salons... absolutely ridiculous!!!

I can honestly say that this is the only salon I have been to the last 4 years. April is amazing and her staff are top notch. I have always felt so comfortable in the chair no matter what staff member is doing my hair. Today I had the pleasure working with Casey and she went above and beyond my expectations. Ive also seen Faith in the past and she cut my hair beautifully. Highly recommend this salon to anyone! 5/5 stars, always.

April and her staff are so attentive and caring! I always have the best experience when I visit the salon, whether getting my hair done, or getting a relaxing massage (Libby is amazing 😍!) My 45 minute drive is always well worth the service I receive!

Libby is excellent! I have had horrible neck & shoulder tension for years. I always leave feeling relaxed. Shes great at addressing stubborn tension. I highly recommend Libby for a good massage.

I booked a first time massage with Danielle and OMG it was ahhhhhhhhh-mazing. Salon itself was really nice. The massage rooms are upstairs which I thought was super smart. I had a 9am appointment and it was so quiet that I could have sworn they opened up just for me. Danielle was very welcoming, met me at the door and walked me out. She really cared about me having a nice relaxing experience. She took care in looking at all of her oils to make sure there wasnt anything I was allergic to and she really focused on my areas where I carry all my stress which is... everywhere. I am definitely going back as soon as I can.

Hailey is FANTASTIC! She always does a great job and is a true professional. She even cut my 4 year old daughters hair and my daughter loved it! The salon is very comfortable and welcoming to everyone. Great management, nice seating area, and everyone is always friendly.

Had a new person cut my hair today and Chelsey Jean was amazing!! Super laid back and easy to talk to. Very friendly. She took the time to really listen to what issues i was having with my hair and went as far as washing it to try to see if it would make a difference on how it needed cut, without charging extra! But really it was her personality that sold me!! I will definitely be back as i already made an appt for a trim down the road. Thank you Chelsey!!

First time to this salon, definitely grateful that I was able to get in quickly for an appt but I specifically said I didnt want to go darker.... Which I am definitely darker now. I know covering or fixing a red to an ashier tone might be hard to do, but darker was the only option really given or discuss. Also after getting home and looking at the cut closer (which was only a trim) it is uneven, one side is longer than the other. Without having a full heads of foils, I have never paid $200 plus tip for a color before. Price was not discuss ahead of time either.

My boys LOVE going to see Hailey to get their hair cut! She is so good with them all and their picky decisions each time! She lets them talk her head off and handles crazy requests for line designs, temporary colors, and whatever else they ask for! Thankful weve found our go to person!

Such an amazing, relaxing time with Danielle as she pampered my face. She pays attention to my skin needs and personalized the facial to give me the most feeling skin. My skin needs are changing, and she was gracious enough to offer me a few samples to try until our next appointment.

We had a couples massage with Danielle and Tabby and it was amazing. It was very relaxing and they made both of us feel so at ease. They paid close attention to our problems areas. This was our first night out in nearly three years and made for the perfect date night. We will become regular customers for sure! April has been my stylist for over 10 yrs. April is an amazing stylist and colorist! She has set up and runs a beautiful and relaxing salon for everyone to come in and enjoy, while they are being pampered and beautified.Amy Hughes is the massage therapist. She gives the most relaxing massages! She can target your problem areas without causing pain. You walk out feeling like you are walking on air.I would recommend Salon De Elegance, they are definetley a 5⭐Salon!!

April has been doing my hair for about 2 years now... she always does an amazing job and I love it every time! She also does my 2 little girls too.. she’s so sweet and patient with them and their hair turns out beautifully!! They love going to the “pretty hair place” and always ask to go back! I’m new in town and ended up here by luck. Actually someone on Facebook said Tara was great at color. She amazed me! My hair had grown out terribly since moving here. I showed her a picture of what it looked like when it’s freshly cut and she nailed it! Highly recommend!

My wife just had her highlights done (paying more than we ever have before) by Chelsey Jean. It came out awful, came out gray and white with brassy streaks instead of blonde highlights. When we told her about this she responded that she noticed this was happening but never mentioned to my wife this was happening. That she basically has to have her highlights redone now but has to pay to have it done again. So we are stuck with this until we can afford to have it done again. Prior to this has been nothing but good experiences at salon de elegance. We are just very disappointed right now.

I have been to the salon twice now, once for a couples massage and once for a hair service.Hair: I had been messaging April for a bit about different services (hair and massage) over about a 2+ month span of time. I finally decided to make the plunge and booked a hair appt for a color (goal was root touch up). My first fault was not asking April her prices!!!!! While I have long hair it is one color minus a blonde stripe. I get my hair colored on a semi regular basis and have my entire adult life. NEVER have I paid so much for my hair to be colored (no cut, no style or dry (by my choice), just color) in my life. I have had my hair done in multiple states and in big cities where services are higher in general and NEVER paid $180 for my hair to be colored only. I was flabbergasted when she told me the price and again my fault for not asking prior but for that reason alone I would never return not to mention the services were poor. I asked for a dark color not black and my roots to be touched up. My blonde streak is green at the end and while the blonde is decent blonde at the top the dark is absolutely black! April also asked if I wanted the ends to match up which usually people comb the dye through, she places a different product on the ends and it clearly is a different color than the roots and extension of them. My hair looks like a tiger tripped mess! There was little to no conversation in the salon chair which was pretty awkward to say the least. While I get it no need to dive into life story, but to have almost no discussion was a weird 2 hours (yet another problem usually in and out in an hour tops if that). Im all around very disappointed with my hair experience and especially by the owner who says she has been doing it 15 years.Massage Experience: We booked a couples massage with Danielle and another gal (Im sorry I cant remember the name). Both massages and service were wonderful. We had a 75 min massage plus a scrub and it was $240 for us both. The services were fantastic, the massage area, shower, and robes were wonderful. I recommend Danielle for a massage any day! I would definitely give her 5 stars and thats the only reason why I rated the business higher. Although I do believe Danielle books at another facility and will reach out to her to book elsewhere.Overall very disappointed with my hair service and very satisfied with our massage service. I do not recommend Salon De Elegance.

It’s amazing. I’ve been seeing the same barber there for a while now and I can confidently say that this is the best experience you can get when it comes to hair. Every single barber is always flexible with whatever change you have in mind, they’re all incredibly polite, and you end up leaving with the best haircut in town by far.

April is nothing less than the best when it comes to professionalism and making every client feel at home. I’ve never received more compliments on my hair since she’s been been doing it! Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best salon in greenfield!

This was my first time at this salon. It’s a very nice relaxing salon. I had my appointment with Dawn, she did such an AMAZING job with my hair. She cut it exactly how I wanted it, the color turned out phenomenal. She also took the time to show my how to style my hair!!! I’ve had bad experience other places. LOVE this salon!! As a senior, I still like perms for those soft curls that the younger generation doesnt use these days. Chelsey gave me a haircut and an excellent perm and I enjoyed every minute!!! Now, I cant wait to schedule a Balayage with Hailey, who is also wonderful and have eyelashes and brows down, too!! Full menu of options are available at Salon DeElegance and all staff members are professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. Excellent service, results and price! Like I said, LOVE this salon! I scheduled a hot stone massage with Danielle and she did a wonderful job! I used to manage a day spa and have to say I noticed her room was clean and organized and she was attentive to my problem areas. I bought a gc for my husband and daughter before I left. Very nice full service salon!

Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. I thought I’d try a new place closer to home big mistake. I told her I wanted to keep the length and she just kept cutting and cutting and shearing my already thin hair. The worst experience of my life. I am so upset. I can’t even ask someone to fix it because it’s so short and choppy. Do not recommend.The owner has reached out to me and was very nice. We have come to an understanding and issue has been addressed!

This is only my experience, It does not mean that this will be anyone elses experience. They were having trouble communicating with me, it would take 3 -7 days to return my call. They did not know the other co-workers schedules. When I asked for my make up to be done, I was clear on what i wanted and who will be there, the person I met wanted to do her thing and not listen to their client. I was getting a trial hair done, and they only allowed a very minimum amount of time to do my hair. I made it very clear how long my hair way and what I wanted, but they didnt even come close to what I wanted for my hair.I do wish others have a better experience, and i wish them the best in their business.

My daughter and I had planned on our very 1st hair appointment with Tara Shayne today. We have never been to her before and we had some trouble finding the location of the salon and where to park. Since we were 15 minutes late (which was communicated) she unpleasantly told us she could no longer do our haircuts as we were standing inside the salon. We were only doing 1 child wash, trim & dry and also 1 adult. My daughter was upset and disappointed because she was excited. I would not recommend this particular person. It was an awful experience.

I received the pomegranate holiday facial and left feeling years younger. The spa was very farmhouse sheek and Danielle was just adorable. Very informative and explained the process as she went along. I would very much recommend giving this facial a try, well worth the money!! Ive also have received a massage from Danielle as well and she has to be the best out there at getting ur problem areas to feeling better. This place rocks all the way around!! The masage was amazing. I have back and neck problems so I use massage therapist alot. The ones in Virginia are out of this world great but let me tell you. This massage therapist was above and beyond even them. I also had my hair done and I am very satisfied. 10/10 stars across the board.

I have been a client of April’s for several years. She has always been so helpful when deciding on a cut and color suitable for my fine, thin hair. I really enjoy visiting the salon & always look forward to chatting with the ladies during my appointments.

April had been doing my hair for years before there was a salon de elegance. I started seeing her before Tiffany Fired her and threw her out of her salon. I followed her to her Salon. I must say that she has really changed since I first started going to her. Her customer service standard are atrocious. She took money for a so called. VI P club Special benefits an discounts. Then she text me tell me not to come to her anymore and does not return the money. But what bothers me me is the I have no idea why because she didn’t face me. She hid behind a text I tried to call her abs she didn’t have the decency to pick up the phone and explain their reasoning, the more I think about it. I feel like she actually stoled money from me. I was a good customer. I paid her any where from a $120- $140 every 5-6 weeks and that’s not even including any services I received from anyone else in the salon. I don’t know if she just don’t want to make money anymore. Or if she thinks she can get by taking money and never rendering services. You’ve been warned. Don’t join any clubs or buy any gift certificates. She will ban you and keep the money.

Ive been here twice to get my hair done and always very happy with results. The girls there are awesome and always make feel comfortable while there. Shawda has done my hair both times and very satisfied with her work

Today was my first visit to the salon and I can’t express how wonderful my experience was. Casey is AMAZING!!!! I love my color and cut! Casey spent so much time to make sure I loved my hair and I can’t thank her enough!! I would highly recommend her and the salon!

I’ve been watching this hair salon for awhile and did get my hair cut once before year or so ago and liked it. I decided to do something different with my hair this time and got a balayage done, boy was that a mistake. I showed pictures of the blonde Balayage, side swept bangs, v- shaped cut that I wanted, along with the stick strait hair style. “I was told yes I can do that for you.” I was left with wax still around my brow, darker roots than what I can in with “okay blonde” after the second wash, first time came out orange looking with super white streaks. Semi v- cut, no side swept bangs due to me already being worried how it was going so I decided not to get any. Oh she decided to curl my hair after all the talk about how I wanted stick strait hair lol. She did mention at the end, “oh I feel bad that I’m curling your hair since you wanted it strait, I can straighten it afterwards.” After 5 hours later I’m ready to go so I said no thank you.Not being a hair guru myself she told me after all was done balayage is more for people who curl their hair and I should’ve went with highlights and low lights with root shadowing whatever that is, since I like straight hair. I feel very disappointed and ripped off of the $$ I spent. I though I was going to leave the salon feeling great about myself only to unfortunately leave there tonight got in my car and cried due to not liking what was done to my hair.What I thought was going to be a Salon De’Elegance haircut came out to be a Great Clips.

Very chic and classy. I came here for an hour massage with Amy and she was awesome! She provided a calming environment, used stress relieving aroma therapy lotion, and used warm sheets and towels (my favorite part!). Definitely recommend this location 😊
