I would have given a zero if possible. Will never visit this place again- the idiot at the door should be removed! My friends and I were denied entry because one was visiting from Canada and only had a Canadian ID.Heading to Legends -

It’s a fine spot, truly my only issue is that the music is pretty dated. I wish at least on college night they’d adjust a bit. Service in my experience has been great and the shows are always worth it

We visited Chemistry during the May Drag Brunch which fell on Mothers day. It was a fun experience for me, my mom and my 85 year old grandmother. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed ourselves tremendously! The marvelous and fierce performers are top notch and really make the show fun and exciting. The drinks were really good and the servers are kind and very accommodating. The food is catered by a bbq restaurant and unfortunately that doesnt allow for anyone who doesnt eat pork or meat to be able to enjoy the brunch. But for those who enjoy bbq its all you can eat...

So having recently moved to the area and not really knowing a lot of people, I decided to roll the dice and check out Chemistry night club. I can honestly say that this has been one of the best experiences and best decisions I’ve ever made. Jim, Alyssa, Jake all went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome, included and appreciated.Anita Cocktail and all of the incredible drag queens always put on an amazing show, the food on the truck is delicious and what you need after a night of partying.I wish I could say more about how attentive the staff is, how friendly patrons are and how much I appreciate everything that the staff does. Fantastic.

One of my favorite places to stop by when Im in town. The staff is friendly, the drinks are strong and reasonably priced, and the overall vibe is fun! Its nice to have a safe, inclusive space like this in Greensboro.Special shoutout to Jake the bartender who is always prompt with drink orders and great to chat with at the bar.

January 2020CHEMISTRY is still looking good and the employees are very nice. Had up 4 large Christmas Trees for the holidays and it looked fabulous! Good music but would like to see some older music with a heavy beat mixed in now and then. Gogo guys on Friday night and drag show on Saturday nights. Nice club!10-19-19 Update.Chemistry Bar setup an extremely well done. Quick check in and excellent service! They have one indoor bar and one out door bar for smokers plus a very large fenced in patio with plenty of seating. Have now been going for about 4 months and I really enjoy the great mix of guys young and older. I can appreciate the hard work the owner and employees put into the bar every night. Friday nights they have gogo guys which is very popular. Saturday night is drag night and the place gets pretty packed. All the employees are extremely nice and work to make every night special. Everyone from employees to customers seem to have a great time! The club has a large well-lit parking area Chemistry is my to-go place now. 4 stars and going on 5!April 2024Looks better every time I go back. They had made some great looking wood chairs and placed them on the outside gathering area. They also made some other outdoor seating which was great. They are doing some remodeling of restroom. Once again, very friendly service at the front door and bars.My only disappointment is it has turned into mostly drag shows. Im not really interested in a drag show on Friday or Saturday Nights. I personally would like to see some sexy MALE go-go-dancers. Even if you did a drag show then had Go-Go-Dancers on the bars in-between drag shows. Its becoming a drag.

Took my daughter here for their family friendly show Friday at 8 for her first drag show and she LOVED it. The queens made her feel so special. They even pulled her up on stage to sing her happy birthday. We all had such a wonderful time and it was an amazing show. Definitely recommend to take the entire family!

I am a regular at Chemistry and I have never had a dull or down time. Everything about this Club whether it be Food, Service especially the Atmosphere its all Outstanding. Jake the bartender serves only the best. He gets 5 stars from me Each and Everytime. Along with all other staff they only provide the best service and gives 100% every single time. Nobody Tops Chemistry Nightclub. Definitely a top recommendation when my friends ask for a great safe space to be in to be only but themselves.

I went to this bar for my 21st birthday. I was still 20 until midnight. I initially walked in and they took my license, which I understand. I was in a small group. The lady told me I wasn’t allowed to leave because I was underaged. The event we bought tickets for was dinner with drag queens. We sit down to find out the food is a nasty food truck outside. Once again, the underage people could not leave. The lady in the front ended up letting us go get food. When arriving to the club, we all agreed we needed to use the restroom but we weren’t going to go to the pizza place next door but to the club and use the restroom. Immediately found that their bathrooms were portable bathrooms outside in below 30 degree weather. Up to this point, I haven’t even made it to the most ridiculous part. I was in a group of five. Three of us were underaged and we all were eating. One of the legal drinkers went to buy a drink and shot and she was rearranging the table and sat the shot in front of the underage people. The bartender immediately gets pissed and gets On his Walker talkie and tells the manager and other bartenders. They Ran back and forth across the bar DURING THE SHOW. Watching security footage. This went on for Atleast thirty minutes. Eventually a lady who worked there came to our table and asked to speak to three people. The underage girl the cup was placed in front of temporarily, her girlfriend, and the one who bought the shot. Take note, they accused them of underage drinking and they had videos of whatever they thought went down. Meanwhile, the shot was still on the table. The lady took the three of them outside to talk. But the one who bought the shot went to close her tab, and the worker babysat her at the counter. The girl then tried to go get her phone and the lady got stern like… i need you outside right now. They essentially told them that we were probably going to get banned if they saw anything. She talked to them like they’re children. They came back inside and the people continued to interrupt the show walking back and forth watching security footage. We watched the last performance and then went to leave. ONCE AGAIN the lady at the front has all the underage people’s licenses. We walk up and visibly see them watching security. Immediately has an attitude like ma’am I need my license. She asks me for the first letter of my Last name I tell her, she gets an attitude with me talking about am I sure? She then asked my first name and I politely said my first name and she had disorganized her drawer under my first initial. Next one of the girls that she accused of drinking gave her the last name initial for hers and she asked oh well who is it for? Like it matters…? She then gave her the full name so there was no confusion. She then gave attitude to the last girl trying to get her license. This event took place 11/25/2023 8-10 drag show. This place claims to be a safe space for lgbtq+, but this place is one of the least safe places I’ve felt personally. Don’t go here, we’re not the first to experience these terrible workers.

The staff and queens at Chemistry are fantastic! The drag show was definitely family friendly and they change the show depending on the audience. Such nice people, great drinks, and virgin options for kids. We’re coming back every time we visit Greensboro!

Went on Karaoke night, had an absolute blast! Such a fun space!

It’s fine. Not much of a LGBTQ+ scene compared to where I’m from (near Providence, RI) so take this review with a train of salt. I also went on a Wednesday so it was mostly locals. Everyone mostly knew each other and kept to their own groups. Drinks were good and bartender was friendly and welcoming.

Have lived in Greensboro for ten years and this was my first time going out to Chemistry. Vibe was cool and the bar is set up really nicely. Music played at a good loud volume through nice well maintained speakers, and I haven’t even mentioned the patio. It’s like a watering hole in the rainforest where everyone’s just chillin back maxin’ relaxin’ SO SO $O cool. I’ll be back, and I’ll bring friends!!!

Honestly one of the best clubs I’ve ever been to. Very welcoming to anyone who comes out, the workers are so nice and welcoming. The drag performers are amazing, I’m in awe every time I go out. Affordable drinks, good selection. The patio is so nice for a club, great for when the weather is nice or even in the winter when you need some fresh air. Seriously check this place out if you’re in the area and not into the big, overly crowded clubs downtown.

I cant explain how much i LOVE this place!! Jake is always incredible, super friendly and makes the BEST drinks! i make it a point to go when he is working. when you go, be sure to ask for him and introduce yourself!

I have been here several times and it is the same.. The dj is trying to be to futuristic and playing to his own likening.I mean your go go boys just do random moves and are off beat. Yes you advertise new lights but why? no one is on dance floor or at bar..

It was my first experience at a club and attending my first drag show. I really had a great experience there because of my friends and the people I met that night were so nice and the costumes they wore for Halloween slayeddd. We only had one iffy experience where this old man was going around grinding on the girls there and had a hard on… not sure what happened to him that night, but nonetheless it was still a great night and I would definitely come back!

So overall i think the club itself isnt a bad place, pretty much like all the others Ive been to. The issue is the regulars. I love to sing and love to hear others sing, so anywhere with karaoke Ill show up. I just moved here from Florida a couple weeks ago and have some issues with anxiety, but decided to step out on my own for the first time. Making this place my first attempt was probably a bad idea, loved the drag queen and enjoyed hearing some people sing but other then that i felt very unwelcome. The very obnoxious and obvious leader of the clique decided to be rude and talk very loud the entire time i was singing. (Note: he didnt do so to anybody else.) The vibe was Blah mainly because of that guy. Outside of his clique i could tell i wasnt the only one slightly annoyed. I was a new face and i was alone so i guess some sort of dominance was needed to be established and Im not about that. Im friendly and inviting, i try to care for everyone but situations like that are the ones that cause me to stray away from my community. Like i said, the place itself isnt the issue so i will try and return on Fridays just to enjoy karaoke but Ill never come to this place alone again. Its clear i wont make any friends or at least nice acquaintances there. Im disappointed that it always seems to be that way in LGBTQ establishments.

I brought my best friend to Chemistry for her Bachelorette party this past weekend. The Drag show was fantastic! The performers are A+! As for the establishment itself, the place was very clean and they took temperatures at the door! These extra precautions in this scary time are appreciated. As well, the Bartender (Jim) was the best! So attentive and on top of serving EVERYONE. It was a night we will never forget and it’s all thanks to the amazing staff at the club!

The place is beautiful. My favorite place is the patio but the bartender there ( a chubby extra always rude girl) is the worse ever. The actitud she always has toward ppl is very and. Maybe no has takes the time to review her but on my 3 nights there visiting, she is a very rude, and says out of pace comments. This is not only my review; for I could gather most guest on the patio had the same opinion that I do.This is my second review on this lance tonight on my probably 4th visit. I’m from out of state.She really, realness to be replaced soon. I was even outside after closing time and even though she had an opinion even when it wasn’t none of her business… she just noisy and rude …ThanksThe patio without her would exceptional and those annoying smoky candles she lights on your face

Chemistry Nightclub is by far the most welcoming and inclusive night club I have ever attended, their dedication to making sure the customers are always happy while at their establishment goes above and beyond everytime, the bartenders are so good at their job all I have to do while ordering a drink is say make me something good and Im always pleased with the cocktail they make me!!!

I try to go every Thursday with my friends. Every visit is fun and unique. The drag queens are very entertaining and the music is great to dance to. As someone who never really danced or socialized, attending chemistry nightclub has really broken me out of my shell. I cant wait to continue to visit. Love my people there!

They play music just for one group of people. What’s the point of paying for cover and buying overpriced drinks if you can’t even enjoy the music? That’s why everyone else is going to Winston Salem. They don’t really care about people other than the targeted ethnicity. Pathetic!

The people are really friendly, the atmosphere is amazing. Theres an awesome huge patio out back that has tons of seating and fresh air and room to have more intimate conversation or hang out in a group. They have special nights for various entertainment and fun! Its the best atmosphere for every type of personality, if you like quiet and relaxed just move further out on the patio and enjoy the night air, if you want music, lights, and the time of your life head inside for a blast! Theres a pool table out back and a second bar so you dont have to leave the fun wherever you find it!

This place was soooo fun!! It’s small but filled with soooo much love! The drag queens snatched my wig and the music was so good! I danced so hard I was sweating all night 😂 10/10 definitely will be back!!

I love this club, the owner Drew, the bartenders, and the Drag Queens. The love and care the establishment pours into the community goes above and beyond. When my son suddenly passed away several years ago he had been a Drag Queen and bouncer at the club. Drew and his outstanding staff put together a banquet in his honor and donated the proceeds to our family. The staff were more like family than employees to Drew. I am eternally grateful for the love and support they gave to my son and my family. If the rest of the world took lessons from this community of wonderful people we would live in a kinder and more loving world. Thank you, Drew and family

I had the absolute best time at Chemistry! The Queens absolutely killed, every single employee and patron treated me with love, laughter, and joy! I will 100% be coming back and I cant wait! The family there is extended to all and a seriously great time! Nothing but love ❤️

Bestie and me hit this place up for a girls night out. When I tell you we had a BLAST! The vibe, the music, and the drag queens were all amazing. I cant wait to come back. Ooo lets not forget the drinks also on point!

Tiny club, but quaint. Music was not up to the times, but at least it wasnt so loud you couldnt hear yourself. My bartender was adorable and helpful. The drag show only had 3 performers, but they were descent. There was a pool party, but I didnt go out back. Had a rum bucket for 10 bucks...flavorful, but not enough alcohol. Also had a double rum n coke for 8 bucks...it was good. All in all a good place, just not great.

I am very disappointed Just went with my 5months pregnant partner to this club. She had to use restroom, I entered to assist her. An off the clock heavy female worker banged on the door then proceeded to opened the door she was rude and very disrespectful while she was speaking to me!! She kept looking with attitude to the table when we returned with our thing has been gone through!! I Informed the bartender of this person and he apologized and stated the heavy female was not working today and had no right but as I have been to this club multiple times to bring more people to the club because I have had good experience before but this will be my last time!! I will not return to a place that has disrespectful employees and when told to people that were work nothing was done!!!

I enjoy karaoke night and dollar taco Tuesday, but the crowd at this bar is Terrible! None of my friends will go to this bar with me. None of my gay friends will go to this bar with me. The crowd is gross. The bartenders arent good. The Only thing going for this place is the tacos and karaoke.

It’s always trashy and ghetto when I come here, I went to see a drag show with some of my friends just so they can see their friend dance and support him but people were starting drama and the bouncers nor the people that run the place put a stop to it. I certainly won’t be coming back by myself or maybe at all for that matter. The way our LGBT Community has become lately it’s a shame I’m a part of it 🤦🏻‍♂️

The bartenders are helpful and friendly especially jake he’s very knowledgeable about the cocktails and attentive to his bar guests giving full attention for the entire interaction

Love this place! I don’t like clubs cause theres way too many people; chemistry is smaller so theres a bit less of a crowd and is very helpful for my anxiety. They have a gender neutral restroom, and the drag shows are always lots of fun!

Had a wedding gig in Winston Salem and stopped in while I was passing through because I heard their DJs were on point. The atmosphere was great, the owner is a DJ too which meant the sound system was on point, the DJs were phenomenal, and the people were friendly and welcoming. I liked that it had different environments so you could find the vibe that you were feeling at the moment. Really good time, highly recommended if you like creatives and vibes.

I wanted somewhere where me and my friend could go and dance with loud music and a lot of people. And I found the place. Great atmosphere great place and it wasnt even that expensive to get in. I will admit that one of the DJs didnt seem that enthusiastic to be there but, he was playing good music. Great place.

One of my bffs is getting married, so we concidered going here Friday night. We had never been to a gay bar before so I called before and spoke with Angelina. One we got there she showed us around, and made us feel at home. She even helped me with my Uber. I can’t wait to come see a drag show with my girls next time! I was there last night for the first time, when I heard Chemistry Nightclub I was thinking about a packed place with everyone dancing on the dance floor. Well I were the only one on the dance floor dancing. The crowd was terrible the Dj was awesome the drinks were great. I enjoyed a few of the GoGo dancers. This place needs a better type of crowd. The owner of this place is delusional and vouches for bartenders who are aggressive with customers. The crowd is gross and the employees are shady and mean....will never go back after being threatened by a bartender as a paying customer and later having the owner take sides with their nasty employee.

It’s a very nice place and very welcoming for any and everybody, I was very impressed with how helpful and accommodating the staff was! I will definitely be going back there every chance I can whenever I’m in town. As part of the lgbtq community there’s not alot of places for us to go and be fully accepted, where we can be ourselves but chemistry makes everybody welcome and feel like we’re all one big family!!❤️ Love that place!

Chemistry is always loving and accepting from the bartenders, dancers, queens and any other fellow staff and regular customers. I go and bring my family and friends for every birthday or special event worth celebrating!

So I took my girlfriend here for her first gay club experience, the DOOR person forced a tip on our roommates credit card. Not even the bartender. It was only 3$. But still, it’s the principle of the matter.

For someone who likes diversity this is not the place for you. I have no complaints about the staff. The dancers are all white twinks from what I have seen. Theres not much else in Greensboro though.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is phenomenal...a few friends and I decided to stop in one night when our usual place was closed for renovation and we had a blast. Highly recommend and would absolutely visit again.
