Greensboro Day Spa is located where my old spa used to be, so naturally we decided to give them a try. They were wonderful! My mother and I both went in for birthday pedicures and they did a great job! My pedicure was done by a man named Danny, he was very professional and easy to talk to about what I may want done to my nails in the future. They have a very cool machine that looks initially as if its simply a table, but it actually dries your toenails with air! It was a very exciting visit, everyone was SO nice and friendly! I got into some good conversations with some of the staff, very welcoming. All in all we absolutely loved it and we will be coming back! I do wish to note that the Greensboro Day Spa offers MANY different services, all I can comment on currently are their nail services, but it was such a wonderful experience I will definitely be coming back for more! Did I mention the complimentary glass of wine while getting my pedicure? I love this place! If you want professional nail art that looks amazing make an appointment with Cam, she is very talented and she does quick work.

I had the body wrap experience. The massage therapist was very professional and my service was wonderful. The shower and spa was clean and a great atmosphere on the 2nd floor of the nail/hair salon. I didn’t know they had a parking lot, so I ended up parking in the parking garage and walking to the spa.

The massage I had from Alex was outstanding, as well as the 24k gold facial. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and I was offered a mimosa and heated neck wrap after my facial, which was a really nice surprise, before I went down for a manicure and pedicure. My pedicure was enjoyable, and looks fine. My manicure, less than 24 hours later has to be removed. I will definitely return but I would skip the nail services next time.I could not find the free parking, but the lot behind the spa is $4 for the entire day so not a big deal at all. I also really enjoyed the ease of booking everything online, that’s a wonderful perk.

We got a couples Swedish massage and highly recommend Greensboro Day Spa! This was not only the most reasonable place for a massage, but the only one that offers a couple massage. Mia & Sophie gave excellent massages, and were very precessional, communicative, and made us feel comfortable. The Swedish massage included hot towels, and drinks afterwards that we got to enjoy in “the nest”.

Definitely worth it. My first time here I had gotten a Groupon for a hair cut. I loved it. Today I went for a pedicure. It was so nice not feeling rushed. A quite relaxed atmosphere downtown. And it turned out so perfect.

Thes gals were amazing! My mom and I went in late for our appointment. They told us upfront that since we were late we would have to reduce what we scheduled. Totally understandable! Despite this they had a cancellation and were able to do the full service for my mom!My technician did amazing on my nails and was super gentle! I got gel and nail art! So good! I’m definitely coming back!

I had a facial, and had a great experience. It doesnt look like more than a nail salon when ypu walk in, but the upstairs is set up for the facials and massages. The lady that did my facial was great, she looked at my skin and we went from there on what to do. It felt good to treat myself! Side note - this is downtown, but they do have parking behind the building.

Got a gel manicure the night before I left for a trip to France. Mae said it lasts 2 weeks. Literally the morning of my trip my nails already were chipping. Really disappointing since I’ve been to this salon twice before for gelx. Paying $40 for a manicure that didn’t even last 24 hours is so frustrating. I am very unhappy with my service.

*This is a joint review from my husband and I*The massages were okay, but the customer service was a joke. To give some context, if you buy a $170 gift certificate — you have one year to use it otherwise they only honor $145 (a ridiculous concept, just make the customer pay the difference if there is any change in massage prices — which there were not).Regardless, we knew this agreement when we got them. So, we scheduled our massages before the penalty date, and a few days before our massages - we had to call and reschedule. The new date fell exactly 6 days past the penalty date, and they refused to waive the penalty. We talked to the manager and explained that my grandpa had just UNEXPECTEDLY DIED. That’s the only reason we could not make it. The lady said there was nothing she could do — which I find hard to believe. This was already an unbelievably difficult few days, and they simply did not care. Don’t waste your time with this place. If they are willing to make this right, I’d be happy to remove the review. Until then… don’t bother with their gift certificates.

I came in for my first visit as a birthday gift from my boyfriend. I was greeted by the owner, who was very friendly, asked if I would like anything to drink, who gave me a blanket and heated neck wrap when I was cold and just overall made me feel very welcomed.Ashley did my manicure/pedicure and was amazing! She took her time, was very friendly, and was a true artist with her work. You can tell she loves her job and I would recommend this place and her to anyone! I can’t wait to go back.

Lovely team. I treated myself and a friend to a spa day, the whole shebang! As someone with full body pain I was nervous about the massage and sugar scrub but they were wonderful! Not too much pressure but still worked out my kinks. Alex made me feel very comfortable. Then the sugar scrub was like a second massage just with sugar instead of oil. The shower after sprays from all three walls and from above, there is also a handheld sprayer. They we came downstairs and had our lavender manicures and pedicures. They made sure the water temperature was to our limits and my nail technician was very cool about the fact that I had to move around a lot because of my pain. She worked around what I needed and I still felt like I got the same service as someone without my disabilities. The whole experience was amazing and worth every penny! The next time I treat myself I will definitely be back here!

Amazing experience today for my daughter’s birthday. We were welcomed from the moment we walked in the door until we left. Very friendly staff and owners. Alex gave me one of the best massages I have ever had - even adding in stretches to some much needed trouble areas. Both massage therapists were wonderful, this was my daughter’s first massage and she made her feel very comfortable! We finished up with mani/pedis which were also great! I can say enough great things about the friendliness of the staff. We can’t wait to come back!

I had an amazing experience with massage therapist, Charvon! I was very impressed with her professionalism and ease of communication. She was accommodating and truly had me feeling relaxed by the end of my massage. Thank you and will be returning!

I love this place.The atmosphere is amazing and the staff was awesome. The prices are very reasonable. Parking was easy and free for 2 hours. The masseuse I had was awesome and knew what he was doing. I highly recommend this place.

Just had a facial and pedicure at a friend’s day party.Good facial and pedi, tipped my ladies in cash. But when it was time to pay, gratuity was on my bill? I told her I had given a tip already and she said, that’s great? Then she would not let me use a coupon because “ I was already getting a discount for being part of the party “ which was not true because I checked their site before going. . I didn’t make a big fuss, just paid what I know is the regular price and double tipped 👍🏾😂. Needless to say, I won’t be back . .

Danielle does a great massage and the zen corner/nook was amazing! The only thing I would recommend is a different changing area/setup. The little room with the curtain (right next to the check-in desk upstairs, yikes!) didn’t feel very private and I was so afraid someone would fling the curtain back while I was changing. Also, the cabinet didn’t lock so my belongings weren’t secure. Other than that, everything was great.

So excited to find a great spa in Greensboro! I got an SNS manicure from Ladan today. It looks beautiful, she was super friendly and the salon is clean and taking lots of COVID precautions! I will definitely be back.Its also wonderful that they have all the services in-house. I cant wait to try a massage and facial!Their online booking is also a plus. You get text message reminders about your appointment.

I am very pleased after my spa day experience. I received a warm welcome from the knowledgeable and professional staff.The meticulous decor made the ambiance relaxing and comfortable. The environment is clean and modern.My customer experience was impeccable. My massage therapist, esthetician, and nail technician were conscientious and caring.Self care is a priority. This place is Heaven those were the words of the 3 text message I sent while enjoying a spa day package with my daughter for her birthday. AMAZING value for the service received. I am VERY picky about my beauty services especially my nails and Laden did a flawless job! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We enjoyed massages, facials, pedicures, eyebrow wax, and full set manicures with designs and I was impressed with each experience. I had a haircut yesterday done by Elizabeth and felt compelled to leave a review. She was very nice and very attentive to my preferences. My haircut is perfect and I will definitely be a repeat customer. I have also had nail services here, and they were quick, curtious and have an abundance of gel colors to choose from. My last manicure lasted two weeks before one nail chipped.

I just had a great massage and a manicure with my daughter . I am still in the parking lot but didn’t want to wait to give this a good review . I had a massage with Mia and it was probably the best massage i have had in 25 years . Her Swedish massage technique is slightly different then I have had before but it was the best .I would also like to mention that Ashley did my manicure and it was meticulously done . She spent a full hour making it perfect.I highly recommend this Spa

Wow what amazing service we received. Took my girlfriend for her birthday for a couples massage. It was exceptional. The customer service started when we walked in the door. Greensboro Day Spa is very clean. They took us upstairs and treated both of us great from the beginning. At the end just being able to sit in the nest and overlook downtown Greensboro and relax with a drink was great. I would highly recommend and we are already planning on going back again. My mom, sister and I came Into Greensboro day spa today and each received manicure, pedicure and massage. I didn’t catch the girls name that did my manicure but she was so friendly and did a wonderful job on my manicure! I had Alex for my massage, and it was literally the best massage I’ve ever had. Before the massage I told him about a spot on my lower back that had been giving me issues for over a year. I have been to multiple chiropractors and Massage therapist try and give me relief with no success. I felt like a new person walking out today. Thank you so much! We will be back!

Had the best massage ever from Mia! She did an amazing job. I’ve had other massages in the past but I’ve never had one as good as hers. I’m getting married this weekend and needed to relax while getting my stress knots out of my shoulders. She did a wonderful 1 hour massage. I wish I lived in North Carolina because I would be there all the time!

My husband and I visited this establishment for his birthday today, and we really enjoyed the experience. We were greeted upon arrival, we were immediately taken to our seats. Our pedicures were amazing (I had the CBD pedicure, my husband had the pearl), and we were both trying to fight to stay awake lol Our feet feel and look like new! 😍 we will definitely be back soon.

We had such a horrible experience at this spa over this past weekend! I honestly could never recommend this spa to anyone. I arranged a relaxing Spa Day for a small group of women who flew in town for the weekend. Two 90-minute massages were scheduled at noon and the other two 90-minute massages were scheduled for 1:30 on Sunday. I was told there would be a private room for two people in our group to relax while waiting and that we’d be served champagne with warm neck wraps but we received no such thing! They were still setting up the shop when we arrived at 11:50am. No one was prepared for our arrival, they weren’t very friendly and almost seemed bothered that we arrived on time for our appointments while they rushed to set up our robes and spa shoes. We waited for quite awhile before inquiring about the private room and when they took us to it, no one came to check on us or offer anything they promised over the phone...not even a cup of water. Each massage was $130 so for that price point, it should definitely be a fun and relaxing experience, however, the entire experience was frustrating and they didn’t even seem to care. I was completely embarrassed since I chose this Spa for my visiting guests who were all very upset and disappointed by the entire experience. We plan spa days all the time and this, by far, was the absolute worst! And I do mean THE WORST!! The owner should think about hiring new people to improve customer service.

Love this place and staff, I came in last week very last minute and they still found time to make me an appointment. They were so clean and sanitized everything after every customer got up. I got an amazing pedicure that still looks and feels great. The people are so nice and offered me a delicious mimosa. I will definitely be coming back!

What an amazing day. I was pampered and well taken care of. My massage was amazing and my body scrub left my skin feeling amazing. I will definitely be returning soon.

I had a great time visiting Greensboro Day SPA. This is my second visiting and they definitely deserved this review. The environment was so relaxing, peaceful and very clean. Jane did a great job doing my nails and my facial with Dominique was amazing. I’ll definitely be going back to them soon.

Found my favorite nail place in Greensboro! I have tried my fair share of nail places and this one outshines the others by a lot. Very friendly staff and the nail job was painless and amazing! Thank you Jane for the great experience. I very much recommend this place!

Hair person is sweet as can be but VERY inexperienced. Spent hours there because she said she could do a perm, spent $150 and my hair was straighter than when I went in with naturally wavy hair. Went to my normal hairstylist and she confirmed it was incorrectly done. She did MANY things incorrectly and by doing so wasted my time, money and damaged my hair.

Amazing massage!. I got a prenatal massage with Sophie. Probably one of the best massages I’ve ever had, and this wasn’t my first massage nor was it my first prenatal massage. I had the mindset that my massage would be “just ok” since I’m pregnant, but this exceeded my expectations. I will be back!

I went to get my hair done today for the first time since I moved to Greensboro. I was scared at first, who isn’t when finding a new hair dresser. I felt 100% better when I walked into the salon and met Amanda. She walked me through everything we were about to do to my hair. She did an amazing job! I’m ecstatic about my new hair. Today I got my hair done by Amanda Wicker. She is so sweet, super friendly and did an amazing job! I walked out with the hair color that I asked for and a cute fresh cut. It was a great experience and the Greensboro Day Spa really is your one stop shop for all your beauty needs. I will be back!

My husband and I just lost our fur baby. Animal lovers you know what this means. He and I needed to relax and remember her, as we tried to start the healing process of losing a piece of our heart and soul.All the spas we called were booked, so we landed here, where they had just a few spots left. Our experience was relaxing. The employees were nice and professional. It was very clean, HUGE plus. The owner came and offered us a tour of the facility. It was just a very nice experience and we will return. I am a hard critic especially when it comes to cleanliness and customer service. If I was impressed take my advise you will be also!!!

I recently moved to Greensboro and was in search of a nail salon that could do dip that would last long and not chip away. I have been going to Jane to do my nails and she has far exceeded my expectations. SHE IS AWESOME! She is very real with you and gives her professional opinion about the health of your nails. I HIGHLY recommend coming here and requesting Jane. I have had nothing but a great experience here:)

Very unhappy with the quality of my SNS acrylic nails. I tagged along with a friend who made a reservation for me to go with her last Thursday before Valentines Day and within less than a week, 2 of my nails have started to lift. My friend experienced issues with her SNS acrylics as well and even returned to get them fixed. The staff was friendly enough and accommodating, since we accidentally made appointments for the wrong services, but even though we were both still serviced, my nail tech was huffing and puffing the whole time - she seemed bothered by the whole situation. This was not worth $40 of my hard earned money. I will not be returning soon or recommending anyone to this place.

Went with my husband. Emily Ann gave a great massage. She was attentive, and boy did she work on tense areas and other areas where I was experiencing problems. She was good. Loved her style and techniques. Hubby had a great experience as well. I wish they had more space for relaxing before and after a massage. I plan to go back again.

Recieved a Spa Day for my Birthday..... arrived early and inquired if they could trim my bangs, and trim the back about an inch, there had been a cancellation so she would be able to do it. She dry cut my hair.. said after my facial I could get a wash and style. After a few minutes she was done, not a regular haircut- literally just cut a touch off of one side- and the bangs are not straight and the right side is shorter then the left at the back- I will have to go get another haircut to fix it- the Facial and Swedish massage were excellent tho- then was placed in the “nest” to wait for someone to come get me for my mani- pedi.. an hour later she finally comes, I was just getting up to go down stairs. It was a basic mani pedi- nothing exceptional. The experience was so different upstairs then downstairs- seems like your in a different salon. Would not recommend hair or nails here, but facial and massage were on target. Will not return.

This was my first time trying this spa since it was Chakras. I was beyond delighted and pleased with the services I recieved and with the customer service!!! The owner greeted me at the door as well as my massage therapist. I 1000% Suggest you book your next spa day with them!!! Cudos!!!! I will definitely be back!!!! I visited Greensboro Day Spa for the first time today 6/16/2020 and got a mani/pedi. It started off a bit slow with the person doing the pedicure. I guess the person was new or just beginning because there was little interaction with that person. I suppose she was just trying to focus on her work. The owner of the company stepped in and made things a lot easier by her interacting and having small, enjoyable talk that made me feel much better about being there. The company is very professional and has every need a customer could want to pamper themselves for the day, I highly recommend calling and making an appointment today you will enjoy it!

Canceled my appointment morning of after I had already requested off work and headed towards the spa. DO NOT make an appointment with Amanda . Rudest person I ever dealt with. Was supposed to be a special birthday gift I waited months for just for it to be canceled an hour before my appointment. I haven’t tried services with anyone else in Greensboro day spa so they may be different than Amanda, as she is just renting a booth here.FYI: my stylist was supposed to be Amanda Wicker and she had apparently tested positive for covid without letting me know. She was extremely rude when canceling and made up a different reason for canceling. Do not schedule with her! I could have gotten covid if I would have went.

I got a deep tissue massage there about a month ago or so. It felt good! I was warned I would be a little sore but me being me I carried on. I noticed my posture was majorly different I was so happy! I was sure the next day and I said to myself man! This is serious! But stretching helped a lot lol long story I miss y’all!!!! I WILL be coming back my posture and back need your help again

Im hesitant to give too low of a rating because the staff is very nice, and Ive had a good experience with body work (i.e., body wraps, massages). That being said, my nails are never done very well. Ive gotten both my toes and hands done with gel and regular polish. Some techs are better than others, but I always leave with less than ideal nails. Sometimes its that the nail color is splotchy, other time the tech didnt clean up the excess polish and it looks messy. Im disappointed because I really like this place, but I just wouldnt suggest going here for any nail work.

My daughter in law made an appointment for a bridal party to have manis and pedis at noon on a Friday. There were 8 women in all. The appointment was confirmed numerous times. We arrived to find only 3 manicurists on duty. When I questioned whether there was anyone else coming, I was told that people were on vacation. My daughter and I were not even started until after 1:00. We had rehearsal dinner duties to tend to as well as her two babies to prepare for the evening festivities. They were so far behind that we had to both ask for the quickest service they had available and leave with wet nails. The whole appointment ran so late that the bride was 30 minutes late for the rehearsal. What should have been a nice relaxing day turned into an extremely stressful one. On top of that, the prices are ridiculous. The owner did not seem at all concerned that they were holding us up and nobody seemed to be in any hurry to get us finished. I would not recommend this business. They have no respect for time.

I went to this spa for my birthday, it was my first time being at a spa. The workers are very diverse which is welcoming. Although when changing into my rob and spa slipper slides ,they didnt have any spa slides that fit my womens 8.5 size foot. So i just wore my own sandals i had on. The facial was cool, the guy who did it was really nice, although i had some dried up residue from the products he used on my nose holes. My massage therapist was cool, she didnt really get into the skin as i hoped for, she was really really gentle. In my package it included a mani and pedi. Mind you, I was quoted a quote, but my total was 10-20 dollars more. Im assuming they charge for polish take off/soak off which should be mentioned on the site in the my day package. I also didnt receive a manicure!!! The young girl literally soak off my sns and reapplied my sns without giving me a manicure first. She stated to save my nail length she needed to do the sns first. Ive never heard of a nail tech skipping cleaning up the nail/ nail bed before doing the nail. Will i come back most likely not. Kind of sucks this was my first experience at a spa. As much money as I payed for my special day close to 300 dollars ,it should have been perfect.In Response to the Business Response: I visited the spa in April of this year for my birthday April 2020, and when i received my facial it was a done by a MALE, a feminine Male to be exact. As i mentioned your shoes did not fit my 8.5 women feet. Maybe you all did not have the correct shoes for me upon arrival, but i booked in advanced and arrived early. Also the package i purchased did not mention other charges for nail services, outside of my request of sns. My response is my EXPERIENCE, in your establishment and i am letting everyone know that. Your response as the business owner is distasteful and unpleasant like your services.

Booked a spa day for myself and my partner. We’ve gotten massages before and had a not great experience at Greensboro day spa - the therapists were really loud, dropping bottles, scooting their chairs across the room. We both felt that they kind of tossed our bodies around and it felt very uncomfortable and not at all relaxing. While we waited for facials, the therapists argued with each other where they should have us wait and it was very odd.... they used cold water for the manicures and mine starting chipping the next day. Overall really displeased because all of the services were really expensive. Sounds like this Spa was significantly better as Chakras and it’s a shame that the positive reviews are from that Spa. It’s not a relaxing environment and I won’t be going back.

I’ve been going to the Greensboro Day Spa for two years now and couldn’t recommend it enough! I get literally everything done here. I’ve had manicures, pedicures, waxes, massages, facials, and even get my hair done here. They treat me like family here and I always leave happy. They are a great local small business that everyone should check out. You won’t be disappointed!

Loved loved my experience here. Will most definitely be back. Came to get my hair done and the awesome hair dresser Anna did an amazing job. Felt like ive known her forever. The other staff members were just as curtious. Great staff, awesome refreshments, relaxing atmosphere. This place rocks! Will be back!

I had Nicole (I’m so sorry if I spelled that wrong) doing my nails, and she was so kind and bubbly! Not to mention- my nails look fantastic. I’ve gotten multiple massages here from multiple people and they’ve all been fantastic- definitely recommend!!

My wife and I came in for a much needed deep tissue couples massage. Everyone there was very pleasant and professional. We both enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning soon.

My nails look beyond beautiful every time I leave here. They use all best best products and the atmosphere and experience is so relaxing. Trang does such an amazing job. I’ve never had a certain nail technician that I return to until I met her. Now I won’t go anywhere else. Cam does AMAZING designs. You can go in with anything in mind and she makes it happen. Best place in Greensboro by far.

I was really looking forward to going to this nail salon. I had walked by it a couple of times and really admired the atmosphere. However, my first experience left a little to be desired. The nice lady that did my manicure did not do a good job at all, and my polish looks horrible after 1 week. So much for the 2 week chip free gaurantee.

My friend and I went for the nail services less than a week ago for the first time and are overall unhappy with the quality of service. We both got SNS sets and our service was a little rushed (due to an error on my part), but my friends nails are already lifting after 5 days. My set isnt great, either. I was cut with the nail file on two different fingers (and one of those cuts got infected), 8/10 of my nails were lumpy, two are crooked, and all of them looked cheap and thin. My mom even asked me if I let a friend do my nails... I eventually went back to see if they could be fixed and the nail tech filed the clear polish off and just slapped some acrylic on top to make them thicker and to fix some (not all) of the lumps. You can see dust particles and air bubbles on my nails now. She wasnt able to do much about the crooked nails. The staff are WONDERFUL people and great at customer relations, but the quality of our sets is just bad. Like I said, it was my fault that they were rushed, but I dont think Ill be coming back.

Kris is awesome! She has done a wonderful job on my hair. She really takes her time to do her job. You can tell she is a perfectionist, and she cares about the quality of her cuts. I had NO volume to my hair when I came in, so she gave me a cut that would hold volume more easily. It is amazing how my hair has changed for the better. She also gave me a wonderful scalp massage during the shampooing. Totally, 100% worth the money.

My first experience was ok but my Second visit this past weekend was not good at all don’t get me wrong my facial was amazing from the young lady but the One staff was very rude when I did my scheduling someone should’ve called me and let me know that they were not doing blowouts due to germs floating in the air is what she said. I was so excited about my appointment and then after that my whole mentality just went down I started to leave but I have a good heart an I stay for my facial but I will not be Recommending this day spa like I was this time.

Amanda is the absolute best hair stylist I have ever used! She is brilliant with color, easy to talk to and always goes out of her way to ensure she can fit you in. Shes the best around and I will follow her anywhere!

I want to start by saying I truly enjoyed my first visit. It went quite well. Being a previous chakras client I knew it wouldn’t be as upper scale - but none the less it was a decent experience- at first.With later visits the disrespect of some of the employees was saddening honestly. I was due to get married and wanted advice on product(some of which was extremely outdated) After that lead me away from the spa overall- The last thing I was disheartened by was after removal of my nails from another salon I had a fungus on one of them. ( I would insert a picture but google apparently won’t allow it).It’s odd how half of these reviews are positive feed back from chakras. Please take my review and build on it because I sadly will not be back.Responding: Obviously it was well before the pandemic. My other reviews specify that.It was late December possibly early January. Not that that in its self is even relevant at this point.

I had the hardest time finding a decent place to do my hair in Greensboro, considering Im from New Jersey and like my hair a particular way. I figure Chakras was a good place to try out. The place not only is elegant but the service is better than I received in New Jersey. The stylist (Samuel) took what I wanted, was straight forward and and realistic and told me what was good and what was not for my hair type, face structure, skin complexion etc. He was very honest, and sweet. He took my hair and did a complete 180 with it. I am extremely happy with the location, service and my hair has looked better than I ever thought. I extremely recommend Chakras. They treat you with the upmost respect and kindness. So happy I found my new salon. They will continuously receive my business.

The ambiance and atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing! My massage and sugar scrub by Tosca was AMAZING!! it was more of an experience then a massage. Then after its all done you get to sit and relax. The shower after the scrub was the most amazing shower in the world I highly recommend it. This place was more then I imagined and I will come back whenever Im in this city!

I had my haircut with Samuel last week and he was amazing! He really listened to my needs and my desires for my haircut. He was able to provide a cut that is fun, fashionable, and practical for my everyday life. He also took the time to teach me how to fix my hair to look as great as when he did it! Not pushy about products and gave me great recommendations for items if I was interested in purchase. I will definitely go back to him for my future cuts!I also visited the spa for a 90 minute Chakras massage with Sarah. She really helped relieve the trigger points and tension I had built up in my back and my neck. If you are looking for a great way to relax, Chakras spa is the place to go. The nest is perfect for hanging out in for a bit after!

I came in with an idea, but was willing and open for another style suggestion...I have had so many compliments on my cut! Samuel really knows his career!Cant wait for the next visit!

Loved my experience. Im from out of town so I was glad to find this place. Its very clean. And the girl that did my pedicure and eyebrows was amazing. And I liked the fact she asked question about if something would irritate my skin. All in all it was amazing.

Abby and Samuel did a wonderful job on my family. Abby did a great job with my daughter. She connected with her really well and my daughter loved her cut. Ya know, Im not hard to please especially when I work to make people happy as well but this experience to me was outrageous. I called ahead of time and spoke with Julie on the phone who I asked, do I need an appointment? She tells me no, walking in would be just fine. I asked twice (I shouldve just insisted on making an appointment).... When I arrived there was a twenty minute wait. We sat, we waited FOR 1 & 1/2 HOURS! The ONLY reason I waited was because my niece (it was her 12th birthday) wanted to stay. Once they ran the water we sat for about 20 minutes until they finally started our pedicures. I told two people that spoke to us that she was getting a regular Mani-pedi and that I was getting a golden pedicure. They then proceeded to give us both golden pedicures and I had to stop them because I suddenly realized what was going on. I wont be back, Im sure they are wonderful any other time but my experience wasnt relaxing or fun but extremely frustrating. Hope others have better luck.

Had a great experience with a spa package that consisted of a whole body sugar scrub, body polish, then 1 hour massage. The steam shower and then regular shower or fabulous following the scrub, And both Mariah the esthetician and Alex the massage therapist did a great job. I cant wait to return!

I had three visits here back in late May. First visit: everyone was super nice. Staff looked a little confused but they were handling the load the best way they could. Had a mani pedi, they served a version of mimosas which was awesome. Atmosphere was nice. My mani pedi was ok...I asked for cucumber Pedi package as I’m not fond of heat if I can avoid it, but got the lavender package instead and it was too late when I realized it. language barrier. Was looking to do a drastic change to my hair. Met Anna the stylist, who was very sweet. I assured me she could get the look I wanted. I on the other hand came in with the assumption that I was not gonna get the look I wanted but close enough was ok with me. She washed and cut my hair, and it came out nice. 2nd visit was to have a bayalage(something like that) which came out nice but I thought it wasn’t enough for the look I wanted but yet there was another visit so I waited. Anna I spoke, told her the colors I wanted, the look I wanted was the oil slick, specifically said I did not want a lot of green to pop. No blonde or red at all. 3rd visit was for color, she started doing the color using technique than half way decided she was just going to use her hands to add the color. You def could see lots of green and she decided to leave some blonde. The end result was, I didn’t get the look I wanted. I did tell her that when she asked, but like I said I kinda knew that I wouldn’t get the look as it is a difficult look, Anna had been doing color only two years. So I chalked it up to experience, for her. My hair still looked nice when she was done but not what I wanted and paid for. Still, I would go back. The engagement between the staff and customer is really awesome.

I booked a day at the spa for my grand-daughter and I as a special day and when we arrived parking was confusing but they helped us find a spot behind the spa and began our pedis and manis right away even though we were a little early and then we had to wait awhile for our facials to begin and that was frustrating but cleared up quickly with my complaint by staff and facials were very nice and my 13 year old grad-daughter loved it.It was feeling like an amazing spa day until......Then we were off for our massages and it seemed to be ok, they put us in a enjoining room with and partial wall between us that was nice as this was my grand-daughter 1st ever massage, but my massage lady whispered something in my ear that I couldnt hear and thought it was strange but I let it go. And afterwards I asked my grand-daughter how she liked her 1st massage and she said I will tell you later can we go now?? I was surprised by her eagerness to leave and I was shocked to find out that she was freaked out by her massage lady making groaning sounds while massaging her and made her feel VERY uncomfortable and grossed out.In all of my 60 years I have had many massages even while I was out of the country traveling and have NEVER once has a massage therapist make groaning/moaning sounds during my massages...SMH!!We will Never go back to this spa again, that was totally inappropriate behavior of a professional massage therapist to do. She made my grand-daughter feel so uncomfortable and freaked out and was completely inexcusable behavior.

I recently got a haircut from one of the emerging talents, Samantha. I had a great experience - she listened to what I wanted and executed it very well. For someone who is very low maintenance with hair care, I tend to get a little attitude from stylists when I tell them how little I do with my hair/how infrequently I cut it, but I did not have this experience at all - very friendly and professional!

Ah-Maz-Ing! Literally thats how I felt when I left. The staff at GDS were very warm and welcoming. I had called to set up a prenatal package as I am due very soon and they were able to give me details and availability on the spot. I got extremely lucky and they had a cancelation that allowed me to be seen sooner rather than later. I had a prenatal massage and a facial! The ladies didnt see, but I definitely cried in the nest area they had set up between my sessions. I really needed to release soooo much tension emotionally and physically as this is my first time giving birth.Thank you ladies for such a great experience. I will be coming back!

I had my eyebrows tinted and my eyelashes done and I’m in love with how they turned out. My eyelashes look real not fake and has brought back my confidence about myself that I lost. I highly recommend Elizabeth she is wonderful.

I had a pedi/mani with Alycia. She was very professional and did an excellent job. I will definitely be back to see her. I also had color, cut and blow dry with Emily. She listened to what I wanted and did an excellent job with the balayge hair color. I have extremely long, thick hair and she handled it expertly. It was exactly what I wanted. I will return to her for all of my hair needs. Ive also received great massages here and the staff is very nice and helpful.

Best nail salon in Greensboro and I’ve been to a lot of nail salons in Greensboro. The nail techs are extremely nice and professional. They take their time to make sure you have amazing nails when you leave. My first time there Joyanna did my nails and they are beautiful.

Omg where do I began? I requested the Spa Day package and I was highly satisfied and so was my partner. They are very inclusive for people of the LGBTQ community. Giovanni did my facial! Thank you GDS for providing great customer service and quality service!I had pleasant experiences twice here in the past and decided to go back yesterday. I had an enjoyable pedicure and was set for my SNS. It was clear the tech was doing it incorrectly. He used a file too long and hurt my fingers. I tried to tell him and he ignored me. I told him he was filing too low. He ignored me. My fingers were burning. He ignored me. He put the SNS liquid on my nails and then used the gel lamp and wondered why it was not drying. He pulls out the file again! He was rude and after more than an hour of rude and poor service I just asked to leave. The other staff was nice but I believe the entire service should have been comped. I spent more than two hours in the salon in all only to leave having to get my nails fixed another time. The right reaction by staff should have been free service not a $10 off card for a future service. I was almost in tears when I left and had no energy to argue. I will not be back.

I absolutely love them!! My two sisters and I had Crystal, Amy, and John. Crystal did both manicure and eyebrows and it was awesome. Amy and John did our manicures and they were great. Highly recommend them!!!

This was a lovely experience. My toes, nails, and hair had been neglected by me. Jane gave me a beautiful set of nails and a very relaxing pedicure. Length, color, everything was perfect. And omg Giavanni worked miracles on my hair. I was scared he would cut to much off. I explained all the breakage and split ends, which he saw right away, and he tailored my trim to my exact specifications. That’s saying a lot, because I’m so particular. He also showed me some bumble and bumble products that will help restore me hair. Thanks y’all soooo much!

This place is the worst in town. If you care anything about good service or quality I would not suggest going. Management is also terrible. Do not come here. Also should share that they abide by “policies” that are not posted. Maybe they will provide clear and upfront pricing and policies from this point forward.Update: Contrary to the owner’s belief, me and my significant other received pedicures December 2018. We were not satisfied with the quality in relation to the price. However, I foolishly decided to give them another try. Huge mistake on my end which warrants me sharing my truthful experience.

I went v in with a picture of what I wanted. Got nothing that looks like the picture. I went to Amanda who is like family. I text her told her it was too dark on the topbut it wasnt her fault that I just didnt like it. She told me she would lighten my hair c for another 85 dollars on top of what I already paid. She made an appointment, canceled and two weeks later Ive yet to hear from her. This really upsets me as I thought I meant more to Amanda than this.

I had an amazing spa weekend with my besties. We planned a full day of services before our night on the town. We were greeted by their awesome staff with refreshments and taken to their spa area upstairs. After my massage, I got a blowout and a mani/pedi. I will definitely be coming back!!!

After working in the spa industry for five years, I thought I knew every rule, except ......DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILD TO CHAKRAS SPA. Upon planning for my eyebrow appointment I thought I had arrangements for my three children, however as fate would have it my husband was emergently called into work leaving me with the following choices: cancel my eyebrow appointment within the 24 hour cancellation period or take my one year old little girl with me to my appointment??? As I had done many times in the past for other appointments and such, I packed her up, drove 45 minutes to the spa and she accompanied me to my appointment. You see, as a working mother to three children, if I never took my children with me to various appointments/things, I would never be able to get anything done. We were greeted as we checked into the appointment by being asked if I had anyone to watch her. I questioning replied that no I did not have anyone to watch her. I began to look around for signs that displayed no children allowed but could only find signs displaying silence your cell phone. I was then informed of their policy that no children are allowed in the service area. I explained to the receptionist that I was trying to honor their 24 hour cancellation policy by not cancelling my appointment and that I had driven 45 minutes with my child to have my eyebrows waxed. Thankfully, the service provider was fine with me bringing her in there with me to have my eyebrows waxed. I explained if she got loud or fussy that I would have no problems taking her out but was told not to worry about it as we were the only ones in that department. We made it through the appointment with no problems and proceeded to the checkout. I was rudely checked out by another lady (to later find out that this was the manager) and was informed that if I called back to schedule an appointment that I would be required to put down a credit card. I paid for my service and was never thanked or told to have a good day by the receptionist/manager. While I was checking out, it was quite obvious that the first receptionist had talked to the receptionist checking us out.So Chakras, you will never have to worry about myself, nor my children coming back to your place of business. If you have so called policies they need to be displayed in your spa and listed on your website, not everyone knows to call to ask permission to bring a child as you told me I should have done. And learn some etiquette in making your guests feeing welcomed and appreciated, not completely uncomfortable as I was made to feel. And my major problem is not your policy, its the way that the situation itself was handled = unprofessional!!!And to all the other mothers out there, think twice before booking your services at Chakras, as they dont value you as a client and mother.

Great people that work at this location. Very friendly and kind. I took someone for their birthday to get a massage and they treated me just a great as the person getting the treatment. Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing time to get away. Very clean as well.

Great pedicure. Alycia is awesome always. I love the new pedi chairs. The owner needs to install an elevator. I watched 2 older women struggle with the 2 steep flights of stairs and saw 2 women fall once. The stairs are dangerous and defeats the purpose of a relaxing spa day for some.

My little sister is graduating today! She set up an appointment at 9:00A with the owner yesterday. Yes, they open at 9:30A, but the owner said she was going to sacrifice the 30 minutes to get my sister squared away for her graduation. We arrive at 8:30A and she didn’t get into the chair until 9:20AM, when the owner showed up LATE. Remind you she has a 10AM make up appointment. The worker LUCY was very rude, unprofessional, she screamed at my sister, then told her to turn off her massage chair rudely. I would not recommend this location to anyone. The customer service was horrible!!!! We will not be going back!!!

Lisa Shaffer is one of the best massage therapists in the country. I have had deep tissue massages in a number of spas across the country and she rates as one of the best! I always feel wonderful after receiving the Go Deep massage with Lisa and would recommend it to anyone!

First pedicure with Lavi at GDS and it was perfect. I had an appointment for 6:45 but I had a short window to come in earlier so I walked in about 4:10. I was seated immediately. I have a permanent injury to my ankle. Lavi was gentle around it but firm everywhere else so I left refreshed with pretty toes in an hour. I will be back and will ask for Lavi again!

I am a stay at home mom with out alot of help so when I have help things need to be getting done. My mother came an hour away to watch my son so I could get my hair cut (despartly needed). I made an apt for 2:30 and got there at 2:15. I waited untill 2:50 when I finaly told the receptionist that I didnt have much longer to wait. Turns out the girl that was going to cut my hair was not even there, and may not have been called to come in. I wated for another 15min before I had to leave. The receptionist watched me sit there for 45min a half an hour after my apt and did nothing and when confronted with this she said that it didnt feel that long to her bc there was so much going on. The hair stylist was not even called until I went up to the desk to let them know how long I had been waiting and they couldnt get a hold of her. This was no big deal to them but now I get to go around for who knows how much longer with out a hair cut and I wasted very valuable time that I dont have to waist. I cied on the way home. Short story long It was a very big deal to me.

Worst visit Ive ever had the Company fired my hair stylist while she was doing my hair told her when she finished blow drying she had to get out. Also a stylist that wasnt mine was touching and checking my hair saying my hair was ready to wash when it wasnt. I had asked for my stylist to curl it and pin it up but walked out disappointed because I had to leave before my hair was finished
