Nice club in Greensboro. Fridays are international so they mainly play music in Spanish. Saturdays they play music in English. The busiest days are Friday and the people are really nice.Really easy to get in 20$ cover (cash or cashapp). You cant wear tank tops (for experience) but overall its pretty nice. I recommend going after 11:20 because before that its kinda dead.

I go here all the time. The drinks are good, my personal favorite is the coconut rum with pineapple juice. Two drinks in, I’m tearing up the dance floor. The music could be better, but everyone is always dancing and the people seem to be nice. I enjoy it.

Bartenders don’t care about the bathrooms being nasty and will inform you to go to the other floors to use bathrooms even though they have one floor open.Bartenders will also help those who have skipped the line opposed to informing them they have to respect the line, involve security to have you escorted out instead of honoring the long lines they have for service.Party with caution

Im that Guy that Hangs, in Spots, that I used to Get Over in Greensboro (which is NOT that Easy, btw) SO HARD back in the Day !! Love These Guys ........Seriously, One of the Hottest Spots in NC !!!

If i could give it 0 stars i would. They promote miss information and racially profile. My friends didn’t have a physical ID and had to pay $20. That it no where in their policy. and Usually if you are 21+ you get in cheaper compared to people under 21. We also had a ticket “ ladies free till 12”. so for them to charge her and not have that in the description is disgusting. She is black and not hispanic so that’s why i felt that she was racially profiled. Along with the flyer stating there were 2 djs. We come to the club and it’s only 1. the third floor was closed, which was the main reason we came. I DONT RECOMMEND COMING HERE.

Very disappointed with my first impression. We went with our adults son, family members and his friends. We had planned to enjoy the night with our son before he departs to Army training. The was no problem until the turn of my son’s friend who is African American. The bouncer didn’t want him to enter because he didn’t hav a belt. None of the group didn’t had a belt. He was the only African American. We found a belt for him and the bouncer didn’t like it. So as a parent is a concern for me. We explain the bouncer that we were all together and the other didn’t have a belt either, but he still won’t let my son’s friends in. As a group of family and friend we ended up asking for our money back and went to another place to have a good time with our son before he departs for MEPs.

Hookah isn’t the best. It’s an independent person who requires cash or cash app. Red flag. Plus they don’t hit right. Which equals a scam. Less hit for the buck. The atmosphere is fine. Rooftop club. LFG!

Its a cute venue but thats about it. No one dances and you cant blame them because the music is really bad; I remember Lizzo, Maroon 5 and I think Meghan Trainor being played. I only stayed for about twenty minutes because it was so bad (went on a saturday night). The drinks are also expensive, 2 shots for $14. I wont be coming back but if you like somewhere to stand around and listen to that type of music it might be a good place for you. This was on 12/3

Love this place i went through a 3 month situation ship with a white straight short el salvidorean boy we hit it off for 2 weeks than eventuallt he left me on read he looked super gay so it confused me LOVED HIM but please tell people about do not fall in love here with any man who gives u attention theyll ghost you and have u crying for week thank you for that expirience i didnt recover !

Me and my friends went there and i didn’t have my id on me i had a pic of it so they charged 10$ more. such a scam but ok anywayssss. we get in, it’s a good crowd, music is bumping, but the bartenders were extremely rude. there was only 1 nice woman who gave me free tap water. the other girls were rude, on their phone, vaping, staring at me like i was crazy when i asked for a free cup of water. she said it was 3$ and another guy was like i thought it was 2$ and she said no. it’s 3$. it was 2$ guys she was being rude. the bartender downstairs said 2$ so somethings wrong. management definitely needs to train their staff on hospitality because they have 0.

Limelight is where its at! I celebrated my birthday here and had an absolutely pleasant experience. The security guys were very friendly and cool. Our bottle girl Frenchie was beyond amazing! very sweet, beautiful, friendly and attentive! The ambiance was very enjoyable the music was on point it was packed and everyone was dancing. The drinks are awesome 10/10 recommend !

The bottle service woman named Nydia was awesome. She made my 21st special and was such a great person to be around. Highly suggest asking for her if you get a private table! Thank you so much Nydia!

SCAMMM!!! BAD EMPLOYEES!! I paid $100 at the door. If you show a picture of your id they make you pay 20$ per id pic plus the fee to get into the club. I was there for 30 minutes and an employee tried to fight a friend of mine for dancing within a crowd of people. When we questioned her about her behavior she got security and made us leave they wouldnt allow us to explain what happened and they didnt care. The security listened to nothing I had to say even though their employee was in the wrong. She was a short hispanic girl, darker skin. I will never be returning to this club theyre a scam.

I never understood the meaning of real life npc’s more by going to limelight. Plus, I got dress coded wearing a polo and beach shorts while chicks wearing little to nothing fly right by. I wanted to buy one drink (a beer at that) which I’m not quite 21 and dude had a whole meltdown. Like being one or two weeks from 21 will make a dramatic difference. Mind you, once he stated that I had to be 21, I completely understood him and started to walk away, but he insisted that I pullout my ID and called over security (like bruv). I showed him and he made a whole scene. Meanwhile he continued serving clearly over intoxicated people drinks and people definitely were smoking on things that aren’t quite legal in NC and I’ll just leave it at that. Not to mention, most people were stationary looking at their phones not even attempting to make any interaction or dance, but to each his own. I usually don’t look at rating because everyone has a different experience, but there’s definitely reasons why a lot of people don’t like limelight, hence the rating.

Average dance club experience on a Friday night.Was told to be here at 9pm to get my debit card after leaving it at the bar. Currently at the door. No one answering the door or the phone. Anyone home?A while later....... 12minutes later.... stillllllll nooooo annnsssswwwweeeerrrr....I realize its my bad for leaving the card, but if you make a commitment to meet someone in business, you keep that appointment. Just saying.And even later...In the end, very friendly bartender showed up about 2140. 40 minutes after the arranged time. Id recommend not making unrealistic engagements, but will bump this to two stars for the good customer service.😏

Where to begin...This place is heaven on earth. A truly gob-smacking experience. Beers flying everywhere, music blasting, fireballs being necked like there’s no tomorrow. Good vibes only. I went here around 15 Thursdays in a row and every single time I got absolutely rat-arsed off cheap booze. It’s the best place. Will forever hold a special place in my heart. To all the limelight workers, my love and respect goes out to you. You truly sent us to the mines of Moria every Thursday.

I was excited for my birthday but it was a complete let down. They told me i had 5 free people along with my table that could get in but ended up making my bf pay 20 because his id was foreign. The rooftop VIP was pretty small and not worth the money. The DJ was wack and played bad old music not the good throw backs but bad ones. They also didnt take music recommendations and all in all i wasnt satisfied. The bartender who could only pour my bottle was gone half the time. If i wanted to drink out of my bottle i had to find her. I ended up leaving early due to being bored. If the music was better i probably wouldve had a better time.

Literally the worst experience I had going to a club. I turned 21 this past year and went to limelight with my friends in greensboro nc. mind you I am from SC so our IDs are not the same. Showed the bouncer my ID he bent it and was trying to scrap something from my ID that was never there!!! gave it to another one and proceeded to do the same thing. As all South Carolinians know all our bars have scanners. Limelight does not I told them to scan it. The bouncer even told my friends I know what south carolina IDs look… well clearly he didn’t. He even asked me what high school I went which i told him even showed him my two COLLEGE IDS. If he had knowledge would know that school IDs DO NOT HAVE DOB. Even asked do I have another ID, like what other ID am I supposed to have?!?! Both of the male bouncers that worked march 5th around 1:20 AM kept cutting me off every time I wanted to speak had attitudes and proceeded to say I had attitude. My friend even told them well don’t you see why an attitude is here right now he couldn’t even ask the question. One of the bouncer even tried to walk up in my face HOW UNPROFESSIONAL which I told him and got mad because he kept saying I had attitude and told him if that’s the only thing then he could say about the situation about a young black female that is underline racial profiling he got mad and rolled his eyes. I Could not even talk to some in charge. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLUB TO ANYONE WITH AN OUT OF STATE ID ESPECIALLY THEY DONT HAVE A SCANNER

I used to go here a lot when I lived in Greensboro. Other than the younger crowd occasionally getting sloppy drunk and occasional fights (nothing more than the usual club scene), it’s a great place for a fun time. Gets pretty crowded during events or Friday nights. This was my Friday night spot bc it’s international Friday’s. Drinks are average, music is great for a younger crowd. 3 floors when the rooftop is open. They offer booths and bottle service too.

This is the worst club ever !! They were discriminating towards their own kind with no rational reason . It’s their job to cool down the situation but they were looking for trouble , it was way too packed (pretty sure they weren’t following covid regulations if they were so into the rules) anyways and they were just rude and tried to take a girl from her group even though she was from another country and didn’t know too much English. They didn’t try to talk about the situation and honestly were just trying to take as much money as possible. Do not recommend!!! The worst!!!! Never recommended going back and will never recommend this place to anyone.

I will not support this establishment ever again; I had the worst experience ever tonight. I basically lost $20 at the bar because I was arguing with the bartender. She said I had to pay for a drink that 1.) was ordered by the gentleman before me, and 2.) I obviously did not order. I insisted on getting my money back, and she flatly said, “no.” I did not receive my drink nor did I receive my money back, so I essentially paid $20 for bad service. I feel, because I am a young, black man, she (the white bartender) felt threatened and called security over to assist. My request for my $20 to be returned shouldn’t have been an issue considering the fact that, again, I did not receive a drink. Security told me to talk with the GM/Owner. After talking to the GM/Owner to resolve the issue, he basically did nothing about the situation and told me I was out $20 dollars. I was then escorted out of the club and barred from re-entry. I asked him, simply, “what did I do wrong in the situation,” and he couldnt tell me. In the midst of this, the gentleman who ordered the drink before me was walking out. He stated to the GM/Manager that he paid for his drink, despite it being a blatant lie. I guess they needed the money more than I did.

Went on a Friday and it was lit! Lots of great people, and great music. Loved all 3 floors! I also went the following Saturday and it was okay. Only the top floor was open and the music was okay. Definitely had 10X more fun on the Friday.

I went to college in Greensboro, graduated in 2015. Limelight used to be fun, back when they had the swing. I went out today with some friends from out of town and it was HORRIBLE. The alcohol is cheap, the drink specials were as bottom shelf as it gets. Which doesnt matter We paid full price for what we wanted and the bartender filled the whole cup with ice; i had to tell her to dump most of it. The DJ is awful and arrogant. Every song he played was white washed. It felt like listening to a kidz bop version of classics. Also he doesnt taken requests, we just ended up leaving. It was an awful experience, i should have just gone to bed instead of wasting my time and money. Its so sad that this place ended up like this.

Got charged twice for the same ticket, put in a request for a refund immediately after purchasing, but still havent heard anything from the organizer. so basically paid $50 instead of $25 (which is expensive in the first place to get into a club) and the place wasnt even full (obviously if tickets are $25 and no one manages the money properly) Im beyond mad right now. I wouldnt pre pay for this place. sketchy, they basically stole money from us and now havent heard from anyone.besides thathookah was $35 and all they had was mint flavorthe staff was rude as hellbathrooms disgusting (even for a club)just dont go here dude theres plenty of places around that dont need to charge $25 to get into a lackluster celebration.also if youre management reading this Id like to talk to the event organizer on new years eve to get my money back for the duplicate ticket I already requested. thanks.

If I could give zero stars I would. My little sister and some of her friends went there tonight and I got with a call around 11:30 with her telling me they took her and her friends drivers license and would not give them back. DO NOT LEAVE YOUNG WOMEN WITHOUT IDENTIFICATION. Think before you pull something like that. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Not worth the cover charge at all. If this is all the area has to offer for dance clubs then its a pity. While it is definitely not my seen, I was part of a group and figured Id make the best of it, but the service just ruined it.If you can make it up to the bar to order, the drink selection is tiny and WAY overpriced, then theyll get your order wrong. Not sure how they have trouble with a Jack and Coke, but I got a 7 and 7 handed to me which I handed back and was then given a Jack on the rocks...which I was willing to accept until I was charged for a double. $14 for a double Jack? Seriously? What high end club do you think you are? I wouldnt pay this for a drink at the Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, so I sure as heck wont pay it for the wrong drink at a podunk club in a college town.

Watched the bouncer almost kill a man. He threw his head onto the concrete extremely hard. We almost called an ambulance and the police. The bouncers have a history of violence. Please be careful and safe!

Worst nightclub ever!! My friends and I went on a Saturday night and only the top floor was open. Drinks are overpriced and taste watered down. The DJ was old enough to be my grandpa and the music was awful, they even played “Party in the USA” by Miley Cyrus and there were girls making butterfly motions with their hands 🤦🏻‍♀️ Never again!

I was there for a St. PATRICKS DAY event and was told my girlfriend couldnt enter with Jean shorts, but could with jeans or khaki shorts. And they were doing a collaboration with Great Balls of Fire next door where you could wear jeans shorts, which is a more upscale....dueling piano bar. But yet and still both places are ran by the same person. Not really sure what the bouncer meant by not those jeans shorts. And the group of people in front of us, one girl had on cut off shorts....Jean to be exact.

The staff is pretty rude. Last Friday I got a drink for me and my friend, on the second floor, and it was the worst drink I’ve had. I paid $20 for 2 blue motorcycles and they didn’t taste like they had alcohol. It tasted like sprite. We let our bartender know and he tried to tell us that’s the point of a blue motorcycle. Really? This drink is suppose to have like 4 different alcohols in it. So we told the other bartender and she basically called us liars and said she couldn’t do anything about it. I usually have a good time but that day was awful.

Me and my friends were anticipating a fun night at your establishment. We drove 40 mins to get there, only for the staff to not allow us in because my friend wore boots. We told them that they can search us, but they refused. Please have a dress code somewhere online that we can look at before we go. Thanks

When the rooftop isn’t open its not worth the cover charge. Drinks are good and staff is nice but shouldn’t charge a cover when there’s only a couple people in the lounge

I have family down here from Puerto Rico and I tell them we should go to limelight we will have a good time and they didn’t even want to accept their ID’s because the security guard said they are not U.S. ID’s!! First of all Puerto Rico is part of the United States how do you not accept ID’s that are part of the United States!!! The security guard obviously doesn’t know nothing!!! Worst experience ever!!If it has been an issue before You should invest in the ID scanners because we were able to get into another place and they scanned their ID’s!!! So I honesty don’t think your answer to this situation justify how your security guy treated my family and your excuse for not letting them in is not okay. Because how come we can get into another place that scans people’s ID’s but not into your club?

Go there from time to time, but for some reason when i get to the door last night I pass the bouncer my id, he looks me head to yoe and says do you have a college id. Any other Thursday they never ask. I tell him no and he says you gotta find somewhere else to go. Males have to have a college id to get in which is clearly a lie because my partner went in 5 minutes before me and hes not in college.

Paul Talley the owner assaulted my niece came up in the girls bathroom twisted my nieces arm and kicked her out because a faulty door in the girls bathroom slammed loudly. She will need surgery! Grrr

This club used to be lit and the staff was cool and it would always be packed but ever since they switched management it just has completely gone under they dont host or advertise well and when u only have what feels like 50 ppl in a big club like that on a Saturday night it is not worth your time or money at all. On top of that the vibe from the management is just off setting I would not go here again however the club next door to right I see a lot of potential in!!!

Not the best service at the entrance, I bought my ticket ahead of time, and it was me and a buddy, he bought the tickets and send me the QR code, but my friend enter before me and once I got to the entrance I showed them my QR code and told me that wasn’t enough, I needed proof of the name and purchase, tried calling my friend inside but he couldn’t hear his phone, waiting maybe less than 5 minutes and I was getting kick out for not having the ticket, but that’s not the experience I want to talk about, the workers were rude, especially the lady who told me if you don’t have the ticket than get out of the line and go somewhere else, the guy next to her told me to get out if I don’t have money to buy a ticket, that pissed me off and I took out my wallet and told him “don’t treat me as if I’m poor” and paid for another ticket, seriously worst workers they have, for the owner, please train your employees better or hire new ones, it makes your business look like it’s run by ghetto people.

The Staff rude as hell. The floor is nasty with drinks all over the floor. The bartenders wont help unless you a cute woman. I waited for my drink half an hour but when I sent my wife they took her drink right away. Never going back again

Charged two separate prices for the same drink from the same bartender and kept having to check our ID’s when getting a drink even though we got checked at the door. Pretty annoying.

Awesome place definitely coming back but I do have a question if anyone could answer, can we bring in unopened containers like Arizona tea or water bottles? I saw they mostly have just Red Bull and I try to stay away from drinking energy drinks since they make me feel sick.

Don’t go here if you wanna get kicked out for stupid situations. I got dragged out by a security guard because I was dancing and spilt WATER over the balcony. He called me derogatory names and put his hands on me and then had the audacity to tell the cops on me who went and laughed at him since he kicked me out for SPILT WATER. DONT GO HERE!

This club is the BEST in the triad by far! They definitely have the customer base to prove it. If you are celebrating an event, they have VIP cabanas on the roof to accommodate you. They are the ONLY 21+ club on Saturdays!

The rooftop lounge area is pretty cool, you can see the city, have a drink, and a smoke while jammin to some music. Music has very different types of songs rap, pop etc.
