Woodhouse Spa - Hoboken

Went to the Woodhouse Spa in Hoboken for the first time. On the outside, it looks nondescript but inside was a very serene tranquil oasis. My masseuse Leslie did an excellent job and really listen to concerns and issues I had and focused on problem areas. She went above and beyond. Highly recommend it there, can’t wait to go back again in the near future

I really enjoyed my experience at Woodhouse Spa in Hoboken. I was not sure it was going to be good as other reviews were not encouraging. The space is clean and spacious for Hoboken. The front desk support person was very knowledgeable and friendly. My massage was very relaxing but also had good pressure to relieve tension. I enjoyed using the shower and also the waiting room was simple with water, tea and light snacks. It is a bit pricy but overall the experience was worth it and I plan to return.

I cannot say enough great things about my experiences at Woodhouse Spa!First, Abigail is so kind and such a friendly face to see right when I walk in. She always gives me a heads up on great deals that are coming, along with product recommendations that are tried and true favorites amongst her colleagues.I’ve had hormonal acne nearly all of my life and have horrible scaring/dark spots. I started going to Haley (spa professional) after I got engaged a few months ago, and EVERYONE has noticed a dramatic improvement in my skin! She tailors the products she uses each session to my exact needs that day, and I feel so much more confident walking around with little / no makeup.Highly recommend Woodhouse Spa for others who are looking for exceptional service!

I had a wonderful facial and stone massage with Bella. I have been getting massages and facials for decades at all top notch Manhattan spas, and Belia is the absolute best!! So happy to have found a real professional with deep knowledge of skincare. Can’t wait till next appointment!

If I could give 0 stars I would. If you wanted to be cheated out of a service, go here!!!My partner and I booked a 50 minute massage service as we really wanted to get a massage and relax. Woodhouse Spa has great reviews and we have gone here previously so we were excited. Turns out: this 50 minute massage ended up being terrible.My partners masseuse had acrylics on that were very long so she wasnt able to fully enjoy, and even though we paid for 50 minutes, we only received a 40 minute massage. We were frustrated since we paid for 50 so when asked at the front desk how it was, we told them it was short 10 minutes. We explained to the person at the front desk that we started 5 minutes late and ended 5 minutes early so we only received a 40 minute massage. The front desk person told me they would get back to me within the next 30 minutes with a refund. One day later, they finally called and confirmed that they did in-fact confirm with our masseuses that our massages were only 40 minutes (so Woodhouse spa confirmed we were 10 minutes short) and not the 50 we paid for. They then stated that they received guidance from upper management that they can only give us a 10% refund as. When I told them that the 10% refund doesnt cover the money that we lost in the service, their response was this was protocol and that is what upper management approved.We paid for a service we did not receive, even when Woodhouse Spas own staff CONFIRMED that they cut our massages 10 minutes short for no reason. My partner wasnt able to enjoy their massage because of the long acrylics from their masseuse and when we told the manager that we arent getting what we paid for, we were pushed to the side. What a prime example of terrible service, even worse leadership from the manager and upper management and incompetence.

I love this spa! Very friendly staff and relaxing rooms with a lovely aroma. I had a deep cleanse facial with Haley and she was the best! Gentlest extractions I’ve ever had and i got great tips for my skincare routine!

I had an amazing experience at Woodhouse Hoboken!! First with Helena for a magnificent massage, then with Haley for a gorgeous facial!! I’ll certainly be back. The entire staff and atmosphere spoke strongly to kindness, wellness and a 5 star Spa experience. Feeling fab!!

We had a mini girls get-away. We stayed at the W Hotel and went to the Woodhouse Spa. I had a wonderful and relaxing massage. I would definitely recommend this spa.

Kishma provided me with one of the best facials I’ve ever had! She introduced me to a hydrofacial and I was thrilled with the results and was happy to hear there was no down time. I will be booking with her on my next visit.

My first time experience at Woodhouse Spa was nothing short of amazing. The spa was so quiet and peaceful when checking in and getting ready in the ladies lounge. I felt very comfortable walking the hallway and stairs to the service room. Leslie went over all the treatments I was getting and made sure to tell me to give her any feedback on pressure throughout the service. I fell asleep numerous times! Overall I was beyond pleased and will be back for another treatment very soon.

Stopped going to this spa for a while now, the manager there has a really bad attitude and deep down is not willing to help. She reluctantly helped bc she didn’t want to lose her job. Poor customer service.

From entrance to exit, I was treated like royalty. Abigail welcomed me as if I owned the place, showing me around and showed me to my locker, which was ready with my right sized robe and slippers. The lounge was equipped with fresh cucumber lemon infused water and there were snacks handy. I relaxed until Hailey my esthetician came to greet me. I was so calmed and relaxed the entire time in my warm robe.When I got up to my room I was put on a heated bed, soooo cozy!!! Hailey performed my sculpting facial and lifting mask so gracefully that I fell asleep! I was in a true state of zen!Once we were done, Hailey had a glass of water ready for me and walked me back down to the lounge. I was able to stay as long as I wanted and used the sauna while I ate some cashews and sipped my water. There is even a beautifully tiled shower and big soft towels to dry off. Complimentary combs, razors, hair ties, fem products, q tips, mouth wash you name it! They even have a revlon blow dryer with a diffuser piece!I got dressed and went to check out and Abigail welcomed me back with a birthday gift!!! It was a full size lipid cream for the face from skinceuticals, my favorite brand!!! Also a photo cleanser and a cute cosmetics bag! It was the sweetest gesture. They made me feel so good!For the service I received including the hospitality and luxury setting, the price for the facial was so right!!! It was extremely affordable for the experience you get. I can’t wait to schedule my next one!

Had an amazing first experience at Woodhouse Spa. From the moment I was greeted I felt welcomed, comfortable, and relaxed. The robes are heavenly. MJ gave me one of the best massages of my life and was able to adjust the pressure and techniques as she went based on what my body needed. I’m already planning my next visit back!

This is the worst place for advice you don’t even get no service from them to Massage Therapy’s in there. They are a waste of time and they gonna destroy up and ship back to Eagle as you being a massage therapist especially males just stay away.

Leslie, the polite and friendly massage therapist, hit all the right places where I had tension. She stretched my hip flexor muscles so I felt overall looser than when I arrived. The spa was clean, quiet and featured two well appointed waiting lounges with cucumber water and cinnamon tea to stay hydrated.

Best massage I have ever received in my life !! Truly amazing.. relaxing.. and she worked out all the knots .. I had a very talented masseuse, Beila was the best !!! She was so so kind and made me feel so comfortable.. 5 stars isn’t enough !

Spent almost $300 for a lifting facial which was just a basic mask facial that was prolonged to 80min and I can do myself at home. There was no “lifting” and unnecessarily long which could be done under one hour. I am disappointed.I recommend trying other spas nearby instead. Glowbar, skin laundry.. etc

Amazing experience at the woodhouse spa today. I got a deep cleanse facial with Eileen and a body balance massage by Belia. Both of these treatments were so relaxing and both women were super sweet and very good at what they do. I will most definitely be going back again.

I had a Soothe & Hydrate facial with Allison K on 6/19. It was very relaxing and my skin looked great when I left. The staff also recommends products for your regimen. Would definitely recommend. And have already gone back.

My facial with Alexandra was relaxing and enjoyable. She gave me honest and helpful guidance to improve my skincare, even advising on wellness like how my water intake affects my skin. Facilities are clean and nice as well.

Had a great experience. I opted for the woodhouse signature spa with hot stones. The massage was great. I have been going here for a while and it’s always a great experience. The facilities were clean and pleasing. Showers were well maintained and bathroom was stocked with a hair dryer, moisturizers, mouth was and other feminine supplies like tampons, hair ties.

My experience with the hydrofacial was great. I forgot the person name who did the facial but she was pleasant, very informative, and very accommodating. On the other hand, the front desk lady was unpleasant, a little hostile and not welcoming. Upon arrival to a spa, especially on your bday, you want to be welcomed buy that is exactly the opposite of my experience. Customer service training is definitely needed.

I came here this month, it was a holiday gift from a family member. I had the Calming Retreat massage.The front desk staff, a woman with short blonde hair, was quite kind and welcoming. Ms. Belia, my massage therapist, was a STAR - such an incredibly kind, attentive, and professional woman. She asked if the massage pressure was satisfactory, really worked out deep knots in my shoulders and other tension, and was just such a JOY. She is very humble but make no mistake: her experience as a massage therapist (of 30+ years) is palpable. I plan on returning, and asking for Ms. Belia, everytime.The location is also optimal (close to the train/PATH station) and is very clean and serene, with calming background music. Several days after my massage, I was still reaping its benefits. How wonderful.

My massage was great. It did start a little late though, and then time wasn’t made up on the other side. I also added on the stones and that didn’t happen. The salt room I wouldn’t recommend. It didn’t make much sense to me. Didn’t feel or smell like salt was coming through. Just felt like I was sitting in a glass box with nothing happening.

I was recommended for extractions, Eileen is perfect at delivering gentle extractions. The service is only 50 mins but super good. The spa’s rewards program is unclear/inconsistent if that’s important to you. I was trying this place out for convenience but will go back to booking around my NYC aesthetician, and have this place be a back up. Eileen is really good!

We celebrated our anniversary with a 50 minute hot stone massage and it was wonderful! Dejon and Leslie were attentive to our needs and comfort level throughout and the entire facility was clean and relaxing. Definitely was a highlight of our stay at the W Hotel.

Massage was good but these people are not accommodating at all. There was an accident on my way there so I was little late which I informed them 30 min in advance. But they cut my massage time and were not accommodating about the circumstances at all. They said the message therapist had back to back appointments and so she couldn’t go over the time even for 5 mins but as I sat there waiting for my ride back, there was no client after me and the therapist just headed out to do some shopping. I was looking forward to my prenatal massage as I’m 8m pregnant and this was a Mother’s Day gift. I basically just wasted $200 dollars as this place was more that 30mins away from me.

I love going to the Woodhouse Spa for facials. I typically get the microdermabrasion and the facial does such a good job every time. The staff are really knowledgeable on skin issues and what products you should/ shouldn’t be using. One of the best spas I’ve been to!

Massage was great. It was my birthday and front desk didn’t even realize. Attention to detail is very important for me and as it being a solo birthday that detail would’ve been nice. Other than that the massage beds truly impressed me being heated.

Great spa experience in a convenient location.I had an appointment with Belia at Woodhouse. She was very sweet and listened carefully to my areas of concern. This, on top of good amenities and a central location that makes it easy to meet up with my family afterwards and run errands, makes Woodhouse my go-to spot for a spa day.

One of the few spas in Hoboken that give you a true spa experience! Robes, slippers, snacks and beverages. Came with a girlfriend for a relaxing day and it did not disappoint!

Nice relaxing spa! Maternity massage requires you to turn on your side and doesn’t have an option to lay face down (with stomach opening).

So disappointed. My first visit was great and I rebooked with the same therapist but on the day discovered that I was booked with some else. There was no prior notice, call, text or email in advance to let me know. No apology from reception :(

I have many rheumatological issues. I was shaking my whole way there. But Dani at the front desk was such a relaxing presence. When I was waiting in the (beautiful and serene) lounge before my massage, she came in and was so sweet while refilling the cucumber water. Then, Danielle (the massage therapist, different than Dani), walked me upstairs and was so patient as I walked up, and I was very comfortable explaining my fibromyalgia to her. By the the time the massage was over, I genuinely wasnt shaking anymore. When I checked out, Danis warm and kind personality made it so that I was calm and relaxed all the way back to the car, not just relaxed until I left the massage room. Id recommend this spa any day, but hopefully youll book an appointment for a day when Dani is working! You wont just leave smiling, but chances are, shell also make you laugh.

Unimpressive facial. The facialist worked on me less than the alotted time. No upper neck or arm massage, she just put lotion on those areas and that was it. Very disappointing experience.
