People tend to post about their bad experiences because they are not satisfied. I wanted to post about a positive, wonderful massage I just received by Geneva! First time with her! I have lower back problems that have been rendering me almost unable to walk!Geneva was awesome! She focused on the area that was killing me for most of my massage time but then also did a wonderful job on the rest of my body parts.She listened and was attentive and sweet and she worked hard to try to help me feel better!Thank you Geneva!! I got a 60 minute massage with Jose and I highly suggest requesting him. I have a pinched sciatic nerve and not only did he help decompress my back through the massage, but he also showed me exercises to work on to help alleviate the pain. I asked for a deep tissue massage and I definitely got that!

Sara is great! She is not harsh and does the facial gently! Plus added by her quick massage is wonderful :)

This location is by far my favorite - I warn parking can be rough when the nearby garage is under maintenance but duh it’s Hobo. Gianna at the front is consistently warm, welcoming, and personable. I came here for a service like a year ago and have been a member since because of her hospitality. Grateful to the staff here for treating my mind, spirit, and body. Xoxo

I have been a member here for a few years now. Staff are always kind, place is very clean! The membership isn’t cheap, but I do find it’s really improved the regularity of my self care routine and my body really needs it.I love a firm massage and Amina is the best!! She can get out my knots like no other. Ellie and Jose were also great for pre-natal massages when things are required to be a bit lighter.

I love my facials at Massage Envy. Sara is an excellent aesthetician. She goes over every detail and really knows what will work best for my skin. Shes gentle and really creates a calming atmosphere.

Jose is always the best therapist. I come back to Hoboken and schedule appointments just with him. I recommend him to everyone. My friend has now been going to only him too for the last year ! No small talk. Let’s you actually relax and enjoy your massage. Good pressure and has the upmost respect for his clients.

Lilly was able to provide the exact relief I was looking for. By the end of the massage I felt much better than when I came in.By the next day I was back to normal. I have another massage scheduled in 2 days to massage out the last of the residual stuck energy, trauma, adhesion, or pain in the body. My wellness is worth it.

As someone paying for a membership for over six years, I’ve accrued 10 sessions that I was looking forward to using. However, my recent experience with their customer service has left me deeply disheartened. When I called to inquire about canceling my membership, I was informed by an employee named Gianna that I would only be given a two-month window to use all my remaining sessions upon cancellation.Seeking further assistance, I requested to speak with a manager, but Gianna’s dismissiveness and lack of professionalism were striking. Instead of helping me navigate my options as a long-standing member, her unhelpful attitude made me feel completely undervalued.It’s disconcerting to receive such service after being a loyal customer for so many years. It certainly undermines the sense of community and customer appreciation I thought Massage Envy stood for. I will cancel my membership and will never recommend massage envy to anyone

Great experience. I am a competitive runner/triathlete & while building distance over the last few months my back hip started to be painful. The specialist at massage envy were able to turn a 90 min session & alleviate a decent amount of pain that I had Highly recommend uptown waterfront hoboken!

This is the best branch of massage envy! I recently had sent my mom to the Bayonne location where she had a horrible experience but I called this branch and Melissa made sure to get my mother in as soon as possible and took amazing care of her! My mom said her massage therapist Genevievewas excellent!! Thank you ladies for making my mothers experience a wonderful one! I highly recommend this location for anyone looking into choosing a massage envy location 💕

She always asks if there have been any changes or updates with me in regards to where Im feeling the most tension and her massage techniques are superb! I went to Massage Envy for the first time recently and was so impressed. Everything from booking, to check in, and the actual massage were beyond seamless and perfect. Jasmine was very helpful at the desk and Jose truly provided the best massage of my life! I told him I had some TMJ issues and he spent so much time working on relaxing the tension that I felt like I melted into the table and relaxed for the first time in months. Thank you SO much!

Great experience. Masseuse was amazing. Had a deep tissue/ swedish hybrid type and felt amazing after.

There is a lot of waste of time and you don’t give the exact time that is told. Yesterday since the massage gun wasn’t working and the masseuse went to replace it, there was no extra time given.

Yelena is AMAZING!! She has done my chemical peels all the way to my facials and has never failed me. My skin is in the best shape ever!! Yelena also goes the extra mile and it really shows in my skin. She talks me through all of the steps and she’s so gentle and kind. My most recent appointment was a Microdermabrasion and Yelena suggested the UV light after to really calm and heal my skin. It was my first time but it was so worth it!

Amazing masseur, ambience and service. Manu nice options to choose from. At the end felt like a baby

The staff at massage envy in hoboken is great. Osato does her work very well as a masseuse and is very easy to talk to, thus creating a great environment. Sara the esthetician is amazing as well, she’s always kind, honest, and gives great recommendations. The front desk staff have always been great with me and easy to communicate with in regards to my appointments. I don’t think I have a complaint about the place and I’m happy with the service I’ve received here.

The rating is in comparison with my other location (Edgewater) of massage envy. And I see other reviewers mentioning the same thing, so I guess my experience quite general. In conclusion, most likely this is a good place if you live near by to get regular service, but not for others.Pros: nice area. clean facility.Cons: 1. The traffic is bad, and hard to find a parking spot. Even though you depart early to have enough time, frequently you may stuck in bad traffic and be late.2. Session time is shorter than what it is booked for. There is no compensation for the late time for sure. (Other locations were nicely offered compensation time in my past experience)3. Personally, I felt the pressure for tipping, from the way the staffs friendliness would change depending on it. However, this is one of the few ways that customers can speak up about their experience, as an autonomic appreciation for the outstanding service without a lie.

Jose not only took the time to acknowledge and address my concerns, his knowledge of anatomy shows in his methods. He performs in a very safe but therapeutic method.31M; History of Bilateral Hip and Left Knee Replacements (3).

Yelena is an absolute gem at the ME in Hoboken. She is very knowledge about health and skin and gives amazing facials. She takes her time and ensures you feel and look your best. She creates a daily regime and treatment plan so you are able to ask any questions and plan ahead. She truly is amazing at what she does!

Have had a membership since they opened some years ago. Have referred to so many friends.Have had so many great massages and facials here.A shout out to Daniel - have been having lower back/mobility issues lately and the massage yesterday was AMAZING. Had a little swelling, but the impact to my mobility was just great. Cant wait for my massage w him again next month.

My boyfriend had been calling around looking to book us couples massages for the last 2 weeks. After speaking with ME in Hoboken we decided to book there because they guaranteed we would have a couples massage in the same room. It’s safe to say this was the worst experience ever. We were asked to be there 15 minutes prior to our massage. Our appointment was for 3pm. We arrived 25 minutes early. We were asked to have a seat while they prepped the room. About 3:15 I had to ask how much longer it will be. The receptionist then stated that they are preparing the room and will be right out. 5 minutes later the massage therapist that worked on me came out and asked if we can do our couples massage separately because the girls at the desk never checked us in. She then showed me her schedule, that she had 3 more appointments after ours. Again, we looked for couples massages for 2 weeks so it would have completely defeat the purpose. Now let’s get to the massage. The massage was not relaxing at all. I’m not sure if she was trying to break the Guiness book of world records for doing the fastest massage or what. She was doing karate on my back like she was training for the next kung fu panda movie. When we left out of the room no one asked us how our experience was. We left a very small tip. I wouldn’t recommend a couples massage or going to this location at all because they clearly do not value customers.

Massage Envy are encouraging their clients to come in while sick!! I’m not one to write a negative review but I’ve had it! I booked an appointment last night after closing, using their app, for today. When I woke up this morning I had an extremely bad migraine, since I wasn’t sure if I’ll be better by my appointment time, 1 pm, I decided to cancel. I called but they weren’t open so I canceled via text message. I went back to sleep to then wake up to a text that I’m being charged $25 for same day cancellation. When I called she couldn’t locate me, said I wasn’t scheduled for today. But said if I cancel through text it’s a $25 and if I call to cancel it’s a $15 fee. So I again said to her that I wasn’t feeling well and all she would say is they need to get paid. Which I completely understand BUT with COVID still around you’re encouraging people to come in sick so not to be charged your $25 fee. I honestly can’t wait to finish up all my credits so I can leave this place!! Sadly, this isn’t only the reason why I’m done, read the other 1 star ⭐️ reviews because they’re true, but this is definitely my last straw.

Hello, I been a member of massage envy for a almost a decade and a terrible experience I had yesterday with the Hoboken location is what is prompting this negative review. I never encountered such a heartless and unprofessional staff. On many occasions where staff were late in performing schedules sessions was never a problem with me. However, being a few minutes late resulted in forfeiting a massage session or threat of a cancellation fee at the discretion of Hoboken’s Massage envy staff. I would not recommend having any services done at this location as it is a poor and subpar reflection of what Massage Envy represents. I may likely cancel my membership after almost 10 years as loyalty is seemingly discerning to their members.

My experience at Spa Envy in Hoboken is nothing short of exceptional. The staff is welcoming, polite and helpful. The facility is impeccably clean and there is a committment to upholding health protocols. I have only worked with Alex who is a gifted and knowledgeable masseuse. I integrate his professional services with acupuncture and chiropractic maintainence. His knowledge of the body mechanic and diverse massage techniques contributes to my success in protecting and preserving my physical health. I recommend this location and Alex without reservation because the experience and services are top notch.

I love this location - everyone is so sweet, helpful and professional. I absolutely love my massage therapist- (I almost debated whether to post her name in this review because I don’t want her availability to decrease even more, for selfish reasons) Yas is truly amazing - so kind and talented. Honestly I’ve been getting massages my entire life and I think she is the best massage therapist I’ve seen. I tend to err towards deep tissue massage due to fibromyalgia issues, and she 100% curtails each session based on one’s unique needs. 10/10I do wish there were more facial appointments- early November when I was in, the soonest appointment was after Christmas already so I booked for January to get something on the calendar.Thank you all!!*EDIT: Im not sure why the owner replied to my glowing review apologizing for my negative experience when in fact, my above 5 star, glowing review is quite the opposite. Yas is a great massage therapist. She took her time, had perfect pressure, and made me feel very comfortable. I also appreciated her ability to allow quiet at times as well as being responsive to questions at times. Thank you for a much needed relaxing experience.

I originally went into Massage Envy before this past Christmas to purchase a gift card for my boyfriend who has never had a massage. I have held a previous membership at Hand & Stone in Clark NJ but never really went for various reasons. My initial first impression was that the space was clean and welcoming. The front desk was extremely helpful with the gift certificate. I also received a promotional gift certificate for $40.00 towards a Massage for myself. I returned shortly after the new year for a 90 minute massage. After that initial massage (which was great), I remembered how important it was to pamper myself here and there so I signed up for a membership.Today I went in for an early 90 minute massage (there is an early bird discount M-Th for morning appointments). I met with the massage therapist named Anna. We did the typical talk about any problem areas and what kind of pressure I wanted. I said Medium/moderate. Im usually one for light pressure but I had some knots from strength training so I took a chance. So glad I did. It was the hardest (for me) massage I have ever had, but the absolute BEST massage I have ever had in my entire life. The only way to explain it is that she hit all the feels. Where I needed work she got the knots out in a hurts so good kinda way. Where I didnt, she gave just enough pressure for me to relax. In the past I have always thought of massages as a good 60-90 minutes of feel good pampering during the session alone. Today was different. I have never left a massage and felt the affects hours later. Like my body was on a high.I would def. recommend Massage Envy in Hoboken -- more so, I would highly recommend Anna.

J was one of the best therapists Ive ever had. He was completely knowledgeable and in tune with the muscles causing me problems and pain. Many of us have had massages that seem so routine and scripted. This one was not of them. Thank you J for being amazing and open to your clients. 🙏🏼

My fiancé and I have been going here for 3 years now and enjoy it immensely. We are always greeted warmly by the friendly front desk staff. Ive seen several massage therapists and have never had a bad experience. It may take a few trips to find a therapist most suited for your needs and preferences, but in my experience they are all well-trained and professional. Ive had a few facials too, and find it to be a nice reset for my skin, achieving a clear complexion and balanced level of moisture. Well both continue coming here as long as were still living in Hoboken!

UPDATE: ME clearly did ZERO research in looking into my issue before replying to this review. I had already reached out via the link they provided in their response, and the recipient of that email told me they couldnt help me as they had no relation to the Hoboken ME.Unresponsive management. For 2 MONTHS, I’ve been trying to resolve an issue with them taking 100% of the value of my appointments. Their policy is 50% of the value if you let them know within 24 hours that you won’t make it. I’ve sent multiple emails,texts, calls to the clinic, and have heard nothing from management. During the pandemic, they also charged me for my monthly membership while they were temporarily closed - I reached out multiple times and never heard back. I cannot wait to be done with this place, so much so, that I consider just canceling my membership and forfeiting the hundreds of dollars in sessions. Stay away - there’s a hand and stone in hoboken. Go there.

Upon booking the massage I was told I could transfer over a massage package from my wife’s account effectively making the service free for that visit. Only after the appointment was complete was I told that I had to pay and after several back and forth conversations an unauthorized charge was posted to my credit card. I’m sure 90% of the time this place offers a “good” experience but to me this was obviously a scam or else they would have informed me before my appointment that I would have to pay full price and allowed me to cancel the appointment. I would proceed with caution and make sure you confirm upfront what the cost is to you with this place as they are not above charging you without your consent.

Was in need of a massage due to lingering back and neck issues. Osata was clutch. Massage definitely on point. She is my new go too person. Excellent massage and very attentive.

Yas is great, however I was short time by 15 minutes. My massage was supposed to be from 4:00 to 5:00, however I was sitting in the waiting room until 4:07 after arriving at 3:30. I was then finished and out the door at 4:58. I’m very disappointed because this seems to be a trend lately, I will not be returning.

A spa that causes more stress than stress relief! Booking with this location can take 5-10 phone calls over several days just to get an answer (they put you on hold for 15+ minutes at a time and they rarely answer the text messages either).I have been coming here for facials for about 8 months now and my esthetician is *always* 5-15 minutes late and ends 5-10 minutes early… basically giving me half the time I paid for. Not professional at all.They canceled one of my appointments and never even notified me.I am constantly billed incorrectly as well which is incredibly annoying (have to call them half a dozen times over several days just to get them to answer so I can get my money back). They’ll bill you for a full visit even if you have a membership and paid for the visit already with it.I am trying to cancel my membership and I need to use up all my credits beforehand, but that’s impossible because they never answer the phone to let me schedule an appointment.

This location is quite beautiful, the staff are so kind, and every visit has been wonderful. Alex, Yaritza, and Katoya all have been some of the best massage therapists I’ve worked with. I have a migraine disorder that massage therapy assists with greatly, and for over a year this Massage Envy (and their excellent COVID protocols) has helped me keep it under control.

Paula did a great job of communicating each step as she proceeded through the facial. She regularly warned me about various sensations I might feel and checked in with me consistently to see how I was doing. I love the Jan Marini products used and felt relaxed and covid safe at all times.

Alex is the best LMT! He is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his healing work. He explains and educates on the specific muscles that are impacting pain and limitations in mobility and gives “homework” to help maintain the gains from the massage. If you want to help get yourself pain free and mobile, Alex is the one to go to!

Did facial and chemical peel with Yelena, she is wonderful! My skin improved a lot after seeing her for three facials/peels.

Massage was good but service from the administration/management is horrible. After being told I could gift my wife accrued massages, after several months they inform me they could no longer do so since the manager that had told me that had left. Repeated attempts to resolve with Adriana went nowhere. Never could get to the bottom of why she made this decision. Seemed to have been made arbitrarily. Dissapointing approach and an easy way to lose a customer once my membership expires. Not good. Go for a one time Massage but DO NOT join their membership and be crystal clear on the contract as they seem to run somewhat lose on their agreements.Additional: upon seeing my review the manager contacted me stating she wished to resolve and placed tbd locations owner on the email as well. However, I never received a response back from my email response to her or my follow up. I contacted Massage Envy corporate customer service and although I was told this would be moved up the chain I still received zero response. Be very wary. Rating reduced to a 1 due to this HORRIBLE disrespect to customers.

I was so excited to use a gift card to splurge on a facial here. It felt amazing and the facility was clean and the vibe was very relaxing. One thing that kind of ruined my experience was the constant up-selling. Throughout the facial I felt guilt tripped that I wasn’t doing enough for my skin and pressured to buy expensive products and a monthly membership. I understand this is the nature of the business but like ... can a girl just relax?! 😁

Shanice is consistently amazing every massage I get from her. I need deep tissue massages and she is so strong and so intuitive. She has been treating my severe TMJ and my sciatica, and I feel the difference. I highly recommend Shanice!! Run, don’t walk!😍

I called to get a last minute massage. Being that Im over 40 weeks pregnant I wasnt very hopeful but tried anyway. The front desk agent MJ was extremely thorough and helpful over the phone and was able to fit me right in. He set me up with a prenatal therapist named Effie who was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable and at ease throughout my whole session. I left feeling relaxed and when youre this far along in your pregnancy its very hard to relax . I had a great experience overall and I applaud this location for having such a good team on staff , I will definitely be returning ! :)

My experience at Hobokens Spa Evy is consistently professional, warm, and friendly. In an era of covid, the facilities are immaculate, and the extra efforts to ensure safety and peace of mind are greatly appreciated. Working with Alex has been one of the best decisions of my year thus far. He is punctual, professional, and beyond the gift of touch; his repertoire of massage modalities gives him a therapeutic advantage when doing bodywork. In addition, he is intuitive and knowledgeable, when combined, makes a well-rounded masseuse. I strongly recommend working with Alex and the Hoboken location.

I have been a massage envy customer since they opened. The front staff along with the massage therapists are consistently amazingly wonderful: customer service, massage skills. I must say that Adriana and Laritza- management staff- have created this lovely environment called: HOME and have the right staff who share the same concept!

There are some phenomenal therapists here, however Id like to point out one individual in particular. Tim gave me a massage 2 weeks ago and for the first time in a few years, I have had absolutely no sinus headaches. I have them frequently during the fall and spring due to allergies. Tim worked on my neck and sinuses and I am shocked to say that my sinuses have been much, MUCH better. In fact I have had absolutely no pain since his massage 2 weeks ago. Tim, youre a miracle worker....seriously. If you dont really have any issues and are perhaps just looking for a real, feel good massage, go with Josh. Make sure you specify what you are looking for when you call to book. They gave me a very poor therapist for one of my massages and I walked out of there feeling like nothing had been accomplished. I ask for Tim every time now (or Josh if Tim isnt available). And Im aware that after writing this review, hell probably be even more difficult to score a time slot with!!

Today, we canceled our membership. It was long over due. Poor scheduling practices and Poor management and leadership at the Hoboken location. For 3 years we traveled the extra miles to visit a different location. At the Hoboken location, Either we would make an appointment for a couples room and get split up bc they double booked. Or more times then none the therapist will come out to get us or I 8 to 10 minutes late for the massage and/or facial and that lost time is not compensated.Months ago my wife and I made an appointment for couples room and her massage was Maternity massage. Minutes into the massage my wife asks, “can you explain to me what is the difference between a Maternity massage and a regular?” My wife being 8 months into the pregnancy at the time, a regular massage could cause her water to break. They stopped the massage and it took them 25 minutes to speak with the front desk and confirm, in fact, it was Maternity Massage. Do you think we got that time back? Waste of money and time.Since I’m canceling and they give you 60days to use your sessions after the class action suit 4years ago, I attempted to make a follow up appointment. It took me 45 minutes to get availability by continuing to push it back by a few weeks. I was professionally explained that the 3 different weeks we considered did not work for them. It would leave a 30 minute open gap on their scheduling book for the therapist. I run a multi million dollar business unit and would be appalled if my managers would run there employees this way. There is no accountability in the Massage Envy business structure. For those that may feel I am talking extra. I have been a member since 2007. I speak from a long proven tack history. Based on prior results this location in Hoboken is consistently inconsistent.I gifted sessions out to friends and family this weekend since I had 15 accumulated sessions. One was to my mom. As soon as she got out she called to complain how her appointment was for 4pm and the therapist came to get her at 4:09pm. Two session were gifted to friends so they can have a couples massage. They called me right after they got out to thank me for the gift. I asked if everything went well. Making sure they got a couples room and were welcomed at the time of their massage. They felt shy since it was a gift but they explained how they came out to get them 11 minutes into their appointment.Please management when you read this don’t reach out. You have had over ten years to rectify this customer service issue that has snowballed into many lost memberships since I’m such an advocate now. Many times these occurrences were brought up to management. It has been made very clear your bottom line trumps customer service, or how it was so eloquently explained to me in layman’s terms “we can’t book you the session for any of the next 3 weeks bc we can’t mess with the therapists money like that.”

I have been a 10+ year client of this location. I have tried other ME locations and nothing compares to the quality I get here at the Hoboken ME. The therapists are all great and listen to your needs. I always leave feeling relaxed and well taking cared of. Thank you ME.

AMATEUR HOUR AT MASSAGE ENVY. I joined at and went to this location twice. Once it was great but the second time it was merely adequate or worse. I took my husband with me and gave him a massage as a gift. He had very specific issues and needs. He specifically told the therapist that he did not want a cookie cutter massage and showed her the areas that needed attention as well as mentioning those that didnt. She completely ignored what he had said or was incapable of fulfilling his specific needs. What he got was a by the books, beginner level massage that did not touch on ANY of the areas he had requested and was nothing more than a nice gentle body rub that I could have given him for free. Also, they NEVER answer their phones. I have waiting for up to 15 minutes for them to pick up and have finally hung up and called the Edgewater, NJ location instead. Someone needs to hire more help at the front desk. Overall, I would not count this location as a hot spot in the Massage Envy company.

Ahmed is an amazing massage therapist! I used to live in jersey, now I live all the way in Washington Heights NYC and I commute the 1.5 hours to Hoboken just to get an appointment with him. Im a former athlete and have a lot of tension problem areas, and like deep tissue. He is amazing at working out all my knots. ive had so many masseuses in my life and he is by far the best one Ive ever had. He will adjust to your specific needs. Highly recommend.

I’ve been to a handful of Massage Envys for facials and Yelena is the best. I’ve been seeing her in Hoboken for 1.5 years for at least once a month and now I wont see anyone else.

Nefi is the best masseuse ever. She is so sweet and has a very friendly personality that makes you feel comfortable the moment she grabs you from the waiting room. She listens to your needs in the beginning with a little conversation to clarify, and from there you are off to another world! She has the ability to go deep, and there is not a knot she cant find and eliminate. She utilizes a few leg, arm, and neck stretches too which are amazing and help loosen up the muscles. Like a few other reviews, it does take some time to find the right person that suits your needs, and Nefi is far and away my favorite! She deserves a raise!!!!

Massage Envy in Hoboken does not know how to keep a reservation. The first time I came here, the aesthetician never showed up until five minutes before the appointment was supposed to be over. No one came in to check on me or let me know what was going on. When I let the manager know, she was apologetic and gave me some complimentary services; well, now back for a second time and everything she discussed with me for this next booking was not done correctly. Now here an hour early for a non-existent massage. I will never be coming to this location again. Envious, I am not.

I had a horrible experience with a massage at this location. The massage therapist just didnt know what she was doing. I have had several massages before and this just felt like this person didnt learn what they are supposed to do and is there pretending, charging people for a bad service and wasting their time. She would press on my bones and I had to tell her to stop because I was in pain and scared she would hurt my back. The tension points on my shoulders were not addressed. She just rubbed oil on my body the entire time and finished the massage 10 minutes before the hour (which honestly I didnt really mind since I almost took off in the midlde of the session before bc I was so irritatad by the poor service I was receiving). So please so yourself a favor and do not get a massage from a lady called Merav.

My sister and I wanted to have a great sisters date night so one of my sister scheduled an appt for 3 at 5pm.The atmosphere is quiet,peaceful, and welcoming. The front desk staff are friendly and attentive of our needs. However, I ordered the biofreeze package with the 1 hr massage and I did not recieve the biofreeze treatment. The massage therapist focused on on my neck, shoulder, and lower back but failed to even massage my gluteus maximus. When I got up from the massage table I noticed the table is covered in cotton cloth with a thin sheet over it. That is extremely unsanitary and an infection control issue. When I went to the front desk to inform them I did not get the biofreeze treatment they simply said sorry you did not get the treatment . I did not even recieve a discount for the inconvenience caused by someone inability to read the request form. I am a first time customer and I surely will not be returning to this location.

As soon as I walked in I was thrilled to be greeted by a wonderful soul. I felt the vibe and the energy and realized I was in a safe environment and couldn’t keep myself from being amazed by the light and kind heart person I was introduced too, .. and her name was anan. And the second name, was message envy in HOBOKEN NJ. Me and my boyfriend came here for our 1 year anniversary and I’m so happy I did it. I will return, and be a customer of this place more then often. And mainly to my girl again!! Haha (anan) is really a must stay. Her energy is AWESOME!!

I purchased a massage for someones birthday so that they could relax and de stress. To make a long, ridiculous story short, they cancelled the appointment less than an hour before the appointment time. The appointment was rescheduled for two days later and they called to cancel again. THIS WAS JUST EMBARRASSING to happen TWICE!!!! They wanted to reschedule the appointment again and I refused.

Jose gave me a 90 min deep tissue massage. He communicated the whole time to make sure the pain level was tolerable. Really enjoyed his work!

I apply this job 2015, the manager call me, to practice test. After he meet me, he change his mind to ask me for practice test. He was looking at me from my feet to my head like i am very disgusting person.That day i was feel so embarrassed, and he told me, that he will contact me soon as possible. He just judge me because i have thick accent with deep voice, and guess what your lost. FYI I was graduated from one of best massage school in country, Swedish institute college of health science. I hope this is not gonna happen in future to everyone.

As much as I used to like Massage Envy and all of the times Ive been here, I will never go there again! I scheduled a couples massage and unfortunately I had to cancel the same day. My appt for for 5pm and I called early 10:30am to let them know that extenuating circumstances happened and I would gladly like to reschedule the appt for another time or exchange it for a facial etc at a later date. I was told I would be charged $50 same day cancellation fee and they couldnt do anything about it. (Mind you they NEVER informed me of this fee over the phone, when I made the appt) Really? You cant waive the fee? Although Im offering to have another service done at a later date? Very rude and completely not customer friendly.

You definitely get a happy ending here, because youll walk out with a smile from how good the massage was. If you feel like youre internal organs are getting bruised from the deep tissue, just tell them to lay off of the Hokuto Shinken.If at any time you feel that the pressure might turn your arteries into gelatin, the masseuses will gladly tone it down and pat you with cat mittens.Overall, excellent place. 👌👍

The masseause was a very nice lady, and the first 30 mins was fine. However she went entirely too deep and hard at the end. My face was wincing in pain and I repeatedly was saying ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch very loudly. I even at one point said you can go lighter. The last maybe 20 minutes was like a nightmare, I was in so much pain. I had to ice my shoulders when I got home. My point of the massage was to relax and release some stress however it caused so much pain that I in turn was more stressed. I understand my shoulders have bad knots in them, and I am no professional but I dont think I should have been in tears wincing in pain gritting my teeth trying to get through the pain, when I was paying to relax. Not to mention, going that deep I think is something you work up to. Honestly, Im scarred from ever getting a massage again thats how much pain I was in the last 10-20 minutes. I sat in tears with ice packs when I got home on my couch. May need to see a chiropractor to make sure my shoulders are okay. I told my friends the situation who regurally get massages and they were shocked and assured me that definitely is not normal. Definitely not returning, and for that matter not getting another massage anywhere for a very very bery long time if that is what it consists of.

They convinced me to purchase 3 massages for $250 that expired 2 1/2 months later. I was not made aware of that, so now Im out $250. Massage envy will never see me again.
