Jencare Skin Farm & Day Spa

Great products but their shipping & urgency to get your package to you is horrible. I placed an order 7 days ago & they created a label and that’s it. I’ve yet to receive my package and can’t get anyone on the phone. This is a frequent issue every time I order products. It takes 10+ days to get it & I am in the US!

Face time with PetaGaye is my favorite time of the month. This is such a relaxing experience every time and THIS LADY KNOWS SKIN! My skin has totally transformed using Jencare products and I am so proud to be supporting a black woman owned Jamaican brand

I got a facial, and then I went back for a mani, pedi (I asked for the same person) . She was very professional, and she is now my new nail tech. Regular mani. Very thorough. She did a wonderful job.

Peta is literally a queen! I wish I could go more often. I always feel brand new when I leave. And the products are unmatched!

This is a beautiful spa with a great staff. Solana is a pleasure to speak with on the phone when booking or placing an order, shes just lovely. I did the Recharge Package with the aromatherapy massage and the facial and it was an awesome 2 hours. The masseuse was a pro, she knew exactly what she was doing. Some go too hard, some are too light with their touch, but she was like Goldilocks, just right. The facility and ambiance is VERY nice, nicer than I was expecting, and the facial was on another level. Peta-Gaye did my facial and I can tell you she easily knows more about the skin than most dermatologists, without question. Shes a true expert at her craft and can tell you about all the little intricacies about your own face that youve probably never known or noticed. This is not your typical facial where someone rubs a few products on your face for 20 minutes, Peta-Gaye spends a solid hour doing an intense treatment with multiple tools and products made in-house (Peta-Gaye is also a chemist), in a finely detailed process developed from science. But, minus the pain of some of your needed extractions, the facial is a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend. I also order products from their website which my family and I love.

First experience to Jencare was okay. I think my expectations were high based on reviews. I was greeted warmly upon arrival. However, I didn’t necessarily feel welcomed. I felt it was only one woman working and providing customer service to visitors; after signing in and sitting for 10 minutes, I was offered a beverage and provided forms to complete. I was scheduled for a 60 minute massage and a French pedicure.The massage room was very inviting and warm. I was given time to change, and the massage started about 15-20 minutes after my scheduled appointment; it ended 45 minutes later. So the massage really wasn’t 60 minutes. The massage was excellent, and the masseuse was very warm and friendly; she had a bit of an accent. So it was hard to understand her at times. Once the massage ended, I was a bit lost on where to go for my next service. So I went back to the front desk for direction.In my past massage experiences, water was provided afterwards. I guess I had to request water because no water was provided or offered.My pedicure seemed rushed and was very basic. I requested a French pedicure but I don’t think that is what I got. There was no music or entertainment while receiving my pedicure services. So I sat in a massage chair that was never turned on in silence with no other entertainment. I wasn’t impressed with the pedicure. I didn’t notice right away, but a few hours after my pedicure, a portion of my toe was sore and inflamed/bruised (see pic).Overall, I would not recommend this spa. As a new customer, I didn’t feel valued and it wasn’t a true spa experience for me. A true spa experience for me is a lounge area away from the front desk that includes beverages, wine, and snacks while you wait. Maybe some time to lounge in your robe in the waiting room between services with some type of entertainment. I will try a different spa for my next spa experience.

This place is super amazing . Everything clean and the atmosphere is so fresh.I got a Sweden whole body massage by Esmine and she did a great job.Also Patrice did my deep cleaning facial treatments and she was very good job and Explained the product. I love to ask questions but these two ladies answered my questions and every product they used on my body.My first time and I highly recommend 💯

INCREDIBLE! Peta Gaye and her staff are the absolute best. You are treated like a queen from start to finish and my skin has been only entrusted to her for MANY years. I had a full spa package with Peaches and had such a relaxing experience. The spa itself is clean and inviting. The staff was warm and welcoming. Peaches did my massage, facial and mani/pedi and had a great touch. I left feeling very pampered and cannot wait to go back.

I received a Swiss Massage with the employee, Mrs. Peaches. The massage was superb. I was relaxed and felt safe at the spa. Using warm oil, Mrs. Peaches gave me a full massage, adding additional pressure to areas that were tight or tensed. I strongly recommend this spa and employee to anyone interested in receiving a Swiss Massage.

I have been a Jencare client for the past 8 years. After many visits to the dermatologist for teenage acne, Jencare products were the only ones that worked for me. I started in an intense routine, but now I use a combination of natural products with Jencare moisturizers.Shipping is efficient and the team at the Miami and Kingston offices are great.

Love this place service is great and the staff is very polite. However I’m face with a situation that I have tried resolving and no one in mgmt has yet to reach out to me after several requests and attempts. I’ve been a customer for 2 years never had an issue. I had an appt I am aware of the policy that is outlined when booking that appt must be cancelled with 24 hours of booking or your charged for the service. As a result I ensure I’m very prompt on cancelling. I called to schedule an appt and was advised my account is prepaid because I missed an appointment and they were unable to process payment. The card they have on file I no longer have as that card was provided when i I initiated service. I explained to Kelly that can not be correct because I’m very meticulous about keeping my appts to avoid being assessed I updated my card information and she scheduled an appt no issues. My daughter and I contracted Covid I called and cancelled the upcoming appt and advise I would call back when I was Covid free! Called back to reschedule spoke with Julissa who is adamant that I can’t book with out payment which in fact I did after speaking with Kelly. I’ve called several times since last year asking to speak with mgmt it is now June 2022 and I’ve yet to receive a call or any follow up I called today to speak with Peta Gaye and was told she will not have time to speak with me! I have been waiting since December of last year for follow up. I will see if anyone reaches out to me in near future

Jencare’s Skin Farm & Day Spa is in a class by itself! The excellence in service begins from the receptionist to your actual service appointment. I highly recommend this spa for any man or woman who wants excellent and quality care for their most precious asset - their body!

I love their products especially for the face. Their facial stuff gives me a glow and dewy look and feel on my skin. I also have had day spas with them but unfortunately they closed the New York spa , so I only get my supplies online but whenever I go to Florida I will go for a spa day there.

I went to the location here in Florida at Miramar, for a consultation for wart removal. There I met Peaches, this lady is heaven sent! She has warm personality, shes very gentle and attentive. The wart removal treatment is done by laser and I have a very LoW threshold for pain, Peaches would go above and beyond to facilitate me. Peaches is a gem, the overall staff there at Jencare are very accommodating. I did 3 sessions of treatment, very painful but Im loving the results of my skin. I would highly recommend this location to anyone living in South Florida.

I have been going to Jencare for about four years. Each time, I feel so relaxed -- to the point of falling asleep. I have indulged in massages, body scrubs, manicures and pedicures. I have only experienced topped notch professionalism and customer service. This is the type of business that I will continue to support and refer others to experience.

I have gone to this location twice for my RF facial and have enjoyed my experience each time! Ms. Patrice is amazing and made the experience very calm and relaxing. I definitely recommend anyone who wants a truly relaxed experience.

Want to say thanks to the owner Petagay for such wonderful job she did on my face today. I cannot stop laughing at myself I remember the first time she did my facial she had to do a lot of exfoliation because I had so much blackheads I was so uncomfortable because Im a wimp when it comes on to pain although I must say shes just the most gentle when it comes on to exfoliating those blackheads and pimples. However my face had improved so much that my routine facial today was so minimal that during exfoliation I caught myself snoring so amazing what improvement no dermatologist could help my breakouts Jencare is a blessing I can recommend Jencare to anyone whos struggling with problematic skin like me, I introduced it to my sister who lives in Canada she have the same problems that I once had and shes in love with her products thanks Jencare I will forever be a family of this company.

Customer service can make or break a business. When it comes to customer service and customer relations, the current management of Jencare has no clue. I have been a customer at this spa for over 15 years. Recently, I had a pedicure at the salon and contracted scabies. I called the management and made a report of my encounter and the outcome of having contracted scabies. The purpose of me calling was to alert the spa owner for her to take the necessary precautions to prevent other members of the public from the exposure. I was told by Peta-Gaye (the manager) that I need to find out where I picked up the disease and should not return to the spa as I will not be welcome and she will make a note on my chart to the effect.I wrote a review on my experience after which I received a barrage of harassing and threatening calls from the manager Peta Gaye. This manager appears to be a bully and seems like she is of the opinion that customers are not privileged to write a review on their experience.I contracted scabies in this spa and is currently taking prescription medications for the infestation.I want to make the public aware of the practices at this spa, so no one else will put themselves in a position to endure the severe itching of the scabies parasite. I will always remember Jencare and every time the name comes to my mind I think scabies. BE CAREFUL!

Peta-Gaye is a true professional! I do not live in Florida yet she is VERY accessible via email or telephone! This is not a business for her as she cares for the quality of her clients skin! Love this place and the products are AWESOME!

I went to Jencare Spa which is located in Green Acres Mall, Valley Stream, NY twice only because I was given gift certificates. Some is the ladies are not pleasant. The wait was long and the attitude was not customer friendly. Esmin was wonderful. She gave me a mani and pedi and she did such a great job. I would give Esmin five stars if this review was only based on my experience with her. If I were to go back, I would only book with Esmin.

Awful experience at this nail salon the nail apparently did not want anymore customers for the night and her attitude showed it. After she finally called my daughter in to give her a manicure she put her in the chair for a pedicure and lefted her their waiting for 20 to 25 minutes. I asked the tech who was doing my nails if she forgot about her and she replied that she was hungry and had to get something to eat because she has been working since 9 and she didnt know that the girl at the front desk who was knew had scheduled her for an appointment. On top of that she was suppose to give my other daughter a pedicure well that never happened said she thought it was a manicure and she don’t have time to do a pedicure although my daughter asked her about her toes while doing my first daughter nails. Says she has a client coming. When we came out front yo pay she was sitting to the front desk with the receptionist leaning on the counter laughing and talking. Awful service.The nail tech that did my nails although she was apologetic upon us leaving. Left my nails very sore and bleeding. I will never return. They don’t need your business. Take your service else where. They are not concerned with making money or customer service.Fern Adderley

Come here if you want clear skin! I’ve had acne since I could remember. I’ve tried every over the counter acne medicine. When that didn’t work I decided to go to a dermatologist for my acne. Ive been prescribed topical medicines, antibiotics, face washes and other prescribed acne pills for years now. I even gave accutane a try which was detrimental to my mental health. Nothing has worked for me as well as their acne facials and using their acne products religiously. I began going to Jen care when I was 24 and got their acne facial. Now I’m 26 and Since then my skin has changed completely. I try to get a factual at least once every other month. The chemical peel facials are great too! I use their acne facial wash or the green marble all natural face wash, their acne astringent- mild, the acne care and then DM on the spots at night. This could add up and be a bit pricey but when you’re someone who has suffered with acne so long, you invest in yourself! The secret weapon is the acne face mask though!! Come here for clear skin!!!

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience from beginning to end. The place felt cold and uninviting. I had a facial and my esthtician was anything but gentle. I expected to be treated as a welcomed guest but I didnt feel welcomed at all.

They are my go to for facials. They get in and remove those impurities...black heads, white heads, dead skin...the works. Very reasonably priced. Check out the website. They offer a variety of services...they know skin.
