I’ve been coming here for years. Super fun bar. Highly recommend doing the drag brunch. It was only $5 per person and we got our own table. Definitely worth it.We ordered food. It comes from a nearby restaurant. Excellent. Hot and fast.Service was amazing. Our server was on it. Made sure my drink was never out. Shout out Kai!Everyone was working hard to make sure you had a great experience. Thanks for a great day out! Had a blast.
We were walking in the rain and were drawn in my the hot guy dancing on the front stage about 8 pm on a Saturday. The drinks were awesome prices for happy hour. More dancers came out to dance around 9:30 and it was so fun. All the dancers were so hot. Way better than the abbey.Carlos made our night so fun. Thank you to all the staff and dancers who made us feel welcome.
So we decided to go out to Mickys Weho. The place was jumping. We were having a great time until 2 of us out of the 4 of us had our phones stolen. I failed to check the reviews before I went. That was a BIG mistake!!!! Had I did that before going, we would of went somewhere else. After reading all of the reviews about folks having phones and wallets stolen, I feel like everyone that works at this establishment are involved in the taking of property from patrons. The fact that it happens all the time, and people are tracking their phones and they are ending up in Mexico and other places tells me that there is some sort of theft ring going on in this place!!!! If you decide to go, BEWARE your phone, wallet or both my be stolen!!!
I had my wallet stolen here 2 weeks ago, someone barely touched my jeans pocket and wallet was stolen. It was a horrible experience and I will never go back.Drinks are 20 $ and badly made. Security doesn’t respond to my requests to help recover my wallet 30 seconds after it was stolen. Only at this place have had things stolen from the inside of my jeans. And my leather jacket but I chased them and took it back. So much crime at mickeys. Be careful
My friend got their phone and wallet stolen from here! The bouncers smirked and charged us $20 cover to come scope the place trying to find their missing phone! I am pretty sure the security was in on it and possibly one of the dancers took it bc they were super handsy and kept getting close to my friend!
I had fun, but one of the servers were extremely rude. He was giving strawberry shots and “provided” service, but he looked at me in a disgusting way. There was the second guy who also served strawberry shots and he was extremely nice. The first guy with the tattoos was nice to my friend, but not nice to me.
I asked where the bathroom was. Was told to go straight back. So I did ..was in some sort of back room. Security come got me and treated me like garbage. Then a stripper comes up to me and knocks my 17.00 drink on the bar and the bartender saw it. No one offered to buy me another drink
Literally here at kpop throwback night and they keep playing new kpop and its so bothersome - like dont call it throwback and youre barely playing what you advertised. As an old kpop fan super disappointmentTalked to the DJ about song requests too and I get stuff isnt guaranteed but its strange to me how youre literally only playing new kpop... like advertise correctly. Just say kpop dance party, dont mention throwbacks because its literally been sprinkled in here and there.
Older black bussman stepped on me twice while I was in sandals first time thought it was an accident, 2nd time he made eye contact w me after doing it lmfao. And joke of a bartender blonde short hair w/ glasses rudely served me a drink, kinda seemed on one. On that snow or something fr.
Your phone gets stolen but I have a huge feeling that security is in it.. Security doesnt allow you go back and check and when you inform them miraculous your phone is off. When I used a friends phone the location was still inside the club.
Mickeys African-American door security guard is highly unprofessional. Last night as soon as I arrive to meet with a friend who had invited me. Before I can even approach the booth I was treated like a suspect trying to smuggle something in. I would never return to Mickeys again. Doesnt deserve my money.
I had an encounter with the most rude bathroom attendant, I don’t understand his pointless job. Why is he there if he’s going to be rude and try to sell cheap cologne. This place ain’t it.
Honest opinion: You don’t even need to be gay to check out this places. I went yesterday because Monday nights they have a👸👸🏻Drag queen👸🏽👸🏾 show. I had never been in one but watch minutes here and there of some. But been there and seen all those queens out there I loved it. So I’m already planing my next trip out there. Pd: if it’s your first time please bring cash and make sure you bring some singles and tip those girls. You pay 10$ admission.
Theft, friend got phone and wallet stolen after interaction with bar staff. It seemed they used the interaction with the staff as a distraction to pickpocket.
Worst bar I’ve ever been, they make different prices for who is the line, and the bartender was so impolite that declines to give a water cup
Restroom Harrassment (by security guard):Sunday, 12/3/2023, at around 1:30 am, Id just arrived at Micky on Santa Monica Blvd. Upon entering, I went directly to the restroom. While peacefully minding my own business, after I exited the stall and began to was my hands, a security guard (see photo) physically forced me out of the restroom and lashed out threats as I was clearly already leaving. He had absolutely no cause to approach me beyond his bigotries and power-tripping.He continued to physically force me out passed the restroom door only stopping his unprovoked harassment of me when someone stepped in and stopped him.I contacted Mickys via Instagram and email to request the guards name. It has been 4 days, I can only conclude that Mickys management has chosen to ignore the assault in hopes that I would forget and move on.This man is a danger to the LGBTQ+ community, at the very least.I simply asked for the guards name, and additionally would like to know which security company he works for. I was not holding Mickys accountable for hiring him, but I am holding Mickys accountable for not addressing the issue. It needs to be known that this man is a danger to the LGBTQ+ community and should not be assigned work at locations where he cannot control his insecurities.
Was having a great night dancing and taking shots, but a thief stole my wallet, ID and phone out of my front pocket. I approached the staff and they smiled and said “sorry” but after reading all the reviews on here I’m seeing it’s quite normal.I wiped my phone and went to a dmv kiosk and canceled my cards, but my phone is how I accessed and chard my electric vehicle and so I was quite literally stranded in la while hosting friends from Canada. Incredibly frustrating. I went the next day and the guard wouldn’t let me talk to the manager because my items were not on his list.If it helps anyone on here, my phone ended up in Beverly Hills that night, then in Long Beach a couple days later and then up in Puente Hills after that (seen via find my iPhone).
I went a lot off bars/clubs. Worst bartenders ever
Great place to get pocketed and all you stuff stolen. They have a reputation of people stealing your stuff
Asked security a question. Before he let me finish my sentence he said Bye. And I kept trying to ask again and he just kept yelling and repeating Bye.
Yall need to give water to your customers. Its so dangerous to not allow people DRINKING ALCOHOL to have free tap water. Get a cooler, put cups by the bathroom sinks for all I care, SOMETHING. To only provide bottled water that you have to pay for is utterly ridiculous. Do better.
A server by the name of Addie(which was the name on my receipts)was very rude and disrespectful to me when Im asking about 2 transactions on my card that she charged me for. She got an attitude with me and I got one back so she decided to kick me out the club. Thats all fine but to work in an establishment where you know youre going to work with people that have been drinking, need to work on her work ethic and know how to talk to people in a crowded environment. She also need to humble herself and realize that she can lose her job at any given moment. I will not be returning for that reason and I know you all are like so? But if yall keep her there with that discussing and horrible attitude, its bad business. Peace ✌️
I have come to this place like 3 times and I have never been turned around because I had a backpack with me and tonight they turned us around because no bags allowed, also the drinks were pricey in the last occasion I went I ordered two Jaegers with Redbull and they where $40, every other place that Ive been in the block have the cocktails for around $10 some $8 some $10, I had fun while they were acxepting me with ny backpack now me and my buddies are gonna have fun with their competition cuz theres a lot and more welcoming places
The worst experience I’ve ever had at a bar. Had my phone and wallet stolen. Security and staff are most definitely in on it and especially know reading other reviews! They were completely rude, not friendly at all. I also believe my drink was roofied because I woke up on the other side of the street not remembering anything from the past 2 hours. Didn’t go to police as I was made to believe that I was intoxicated. Do not trust this place and be aware of your surroundings at all times. Also I called for over a week to ask about my wallet and phone and they never picked up their phone. Be cautious. Lesson learned the hard way!
This place participates in roofing customers for the local cedar sinai hospital to profit from your unconsciousness. Be CaReful!!!!!
Horrible. They literally snatch your phone out of your hand. My friend got his phone stolen before and now it’s me. They are like gangsters that will snatch anything you have and follow your phone to mexico.. all that so they can make 20$ out of locked iPhones. Ridiculous
Drag brunch was so much fun! Even though there were some technical difficulties it was a great show with talented performers and unexpectedly great food. Chorizo burrito was enormous. Mimosas come in a pitcher that is pretty soda-Ed down so not sure how potent they really were. Also heard they caught the WeHo pickpockets - so hopefully no future issues but they did have signs that said beware of them!
Had a great time! Super fun atmosphere! Be smart, people tend to steal from people who are easy targets at bars, clubs, wherever. Don’t carry a big purse, don’t ever put it down, don’t ever pull your wallet out in public, and carry what you need close to your body-always.
Came fully prepared for my phone to get stolen but nothing happened except a great time. The drag show was INCREDIBLE the bartenders and all the staff were super friendly. I had never been to Mickeys before so the reviews made me nervous but there were 6 of us that night and everyone had a good experience. I would definitely recommend going to see the drag show!
As an Angeleno it is disheartening to experience discrimination in a city that prides itself on its diversity. To be clear, West Hollywood has not had the best track record for its treatment of people of color. I am writing this review in hopes of raising further attention to the issue. On October 16, 2022, I and a couple of friends were waiting in line to enter Micky’s establishment. At approximately 12:24 AM, my partner and I were front in line to enter the nightclub. I noticed that the bouncer had a laptop with a front facing camera attached to the top of the computer to take photographs of patrons when checking ID. This was a new practice at this establishment for me, presumably for security purposes given the recent string of thefts reported at Micky’s recently.I myself am Latino and my partner is White. I noticed that the couple in front of us was similarly an interracial couple: a White male and a Black male. When the White male had his identification checked at the front door, he did not have his photograph taken. When his Black partner was next to proceed, the bouncer required the Black male to be photographed. When the Black male questioned the bouncer on the disparate treatment between he and his partner, the bouncer alleged that a photograph of the White male was taken. It was very obvious that a photograph was not taken because the White male was never standing within the frame of reference of the laptop camera lens to begin with.Following that encounter it was my turn to proceed. After checking my identification, the bouncer instructed me to stand in front of the camera to have my photograph taken. My White partner was next in line for the ID check. The bouncer did not follow the same protocol with my White partner, and he was able to enter the establishment without requiring to be photographed. When I questioned the bouncer on why I was required to have my photograph taken, when my White partner was not, the bouncer alleged the same set of facts that he shared with the Black male who was in front of me in line. The bouncer claimed that he had “taken” a photograph of the White patron in each circumstance, which was clearly not the case.Mandating that all patrons of color take a photograph to enter the establishment, while White patrons bypass this requirement is a poisonous relic of this country’s sordid history with racial discrimination. This racist and targeted practice perpetuates the dangerous over-policing of people of color.I urge any person of color to think twice before supporting this establishment. Take your dollars elsewhere.
Music offers that Main Character in a Netflix series vibes. Was aware of the HEAVY theft problem the strip had and luckily wasn’t a victim. 2 floors of dancing and plenty of room if you come with a medium group size. You’re better off carrying the least amount in your pocket and hold onto you’re phone at all times.
A friend of mine had her phone stolen last night here. We definitely weren’t the only ones. If you’re fond of this bar, have a clutch with a zipper, or a jacket with an inside pocket!!! Just not worth going somewhere where pickpocketing is so common.
Went on a Saturday for drag brunch for my birthday - the queens were incredible, the drinks kept coming, and the food was actually really good! I had the best time. 10/10 incredible service too!!!
It was really fun until my wallet got stolen out of my purse. Now that I’m reading all the other reviews about theft I’m not surprised. There are pickpockets here every weekend apparently. Next time I’m only bringing cash and an ID and putting both in my bra. Already filed a police report about the incident.
This place is honestly the worst! Things were going good when we first entered the bar. After a drink or two and walking around we started to notice that we were being followed by security. Out of nowhere one of the security guards grabs my partner and starts forcefully pushing them! When I asked the security why they were being super aggressive I get pushed as well and get told that we are “extremely” intoxicated! Mind you Im very aware of what is happening and telling them we have only had two drinks each. We get thrown out because 1. we apparently my partner was “super” intoxicated 2. I was told I got kicked out for standing up for my partner and because I questioned security. This is super unprofessional, and it brings up a lot of red flags about the staff and management. Once we were out I went up and asked why we were kicked out, one of the other security guards tells me that I “tried” starting a fight with security as soon as I walked in and that a man that’s a regular said he didn’t feel comfortable with me and my partner around due to “personal” reasons. When I told them I would like to speak to management they laughed and said that management doesn’t care about these types of incidents, because regardless of how many complaints they get they know they’ll never get closed down. This is sad to know that we don’t have any safe spaces in WEHO!!!!! Over all super grimy bar and management!!!! This place is definitely not a safe space for people of color!!!
I have had so much fun here for years! Great staff, awesome drinks, and now fantastic food. If your looking for a fun place in Weho, without the Weho attitude, then Mickys is your place. They have promos practically seven days a week, so there’s always something going on. Micky’s is definitely my favorite Weho hangout!
Great place if you’d like your valuables stolen! Spent NYE 2021-2022 there and my wallet got stolen, while 2 people there (who i never met before) got their phones stolen. Whoever they had at the cashier was rude af and completely insensitive and it took the manager like 30 mins+ to come down only to say that unless i got my cards through a “mattress company”, it’s the bank’s responsibility to deal with the 113$ purchases that were made on my card that night by whoever stole it! The place also was pretty empty considering it was a new year’s party, and the bar smelled like someone threw up there. I definitely do not recommend it and certainly won’t be visiting again. Totally unprofessional from the security, to the receptionist, to the manager/owner. 0/5 stars if i could give that.
My bestie and I had the BEST time at Mickey’s on our girls’ trip to Hollywood. It was a dream come true to stop in this iconic spot for some drinks, dancing, and good company. Everyone was so nice and the music was hype!
Don’t go here unless you want your things stolen. When asking staff about my stolen phone, they laughed and kept saying “BYE” in my face. Five other phones were stolen, and not a single staff member bat an eye. There’s no way the staff isn’t in on the theft happening in this club. Soooo many reviews in here about phones stolen in particular. Read the reviews. Be safe, keep your stuff close or not on you at all.
We went into Mickys around the end of our Halloween night. Out of the 5 friends that were in the club 2 of us had our phones stolen and 1 of us had our wallet stolen. We asked all of the bartenders and patrons around the club and were basically ignored. It really put a damper on the end of the night and changed the mood of the entire group. Because we werent able to call an Uber we had to rely on the kindness of strangers to get back home.
I went to Mickys on a Monday night for the drag show. We got seats on the second row back from the stage. When I sat down I put my jacket on the back of my seat and around an hour later I noticed it was missing and the people who were sitting behind me had left. I’m giving one star because the show itself was great, however it’s not worth the risk of having your stuff stolen by other patrons. Also the bartenders and staff were not helpful or attentive.
I have seen this location go from being a horrible dive bar back in the early 80s (before it was Mickys) to pulling itself out of the gutter and hosing itself off when it became Mickys. As Mickys, this club really started to thrive and build a reputation as a fun place for a young crowd. Disaster hit in 2007 when the club caught on fire. But much like a Phoenix, the new Mickys has risen triumphantly from the ashes. The dance floor has always been small and it still is a bit on the small size and that would be my one and only slight complaint. Otherwise, this is always one very fun and hopping joint. They have a very good sound and lighting system, the drinks are strong (a little expensive though) and the gorgeous men/boys are everywhere you look. They have some of the hottest go go boys in WeHo and quite possibly the cleanest and nicest bathrooms I have ever seen in a bar/dance club. They always have a cover charge on the weekends after 8 or 9pm so get their early if you dont like paying a cover charge. Otherwise, hit your banks ATM machine on your way there because between the cover charge, tipping the go go boys so that they will reveal more of their chiseled bodies, and buying drink after drink for yourself and friends....you will spend some hard earned money here but you will also have a great time.
Reasonable prices. Excellent dancers. You can relax and have fun in the bar. Promotions are passing, I got free drinks and a private room for an hour. To do this, registered on 909gay,com created a profile, and showed it to the administrator. It was very nice for such unexpected gifts.
Fantastic musical selection, crowded, exquisite variety of cocktails.Good artistic amenities and formidable drag showsFantastic musical selection, full busy, exquisite variety of cocktails.Good artistic amenities and formidable drag showsFantástica selección musical, concurrida, exquisita variedad de cócteles.Buenos amenities artísticos y formidables drag shows
Felt pressured to give money during a drag show to one of the performers. Got unwanted physical contact and overall felt uncomfortable during my time there after the fact.
My phone was stolen out of my backpack and I felt it happen. The guy had rubbed up against me before and I told him not to touch me then 5 min later he reached into my backpack while pushing me into the crowd. When I went to security they refused to help me at all. wouldnt let me talk to a manager. Legit ignored me. When I asked them to look at security videos they refused to even though I knew what guy it was. Horrible experience! staff is AWFUL.
Went here with a friend and my phone was stolen. we asked the bouncers to let us in just to check around to see if my phone was anywhere, but there was a line of eight other people/groups, suspiciously also looking for their phones, none of whom were allowed back in. the bouncers were very mean to one girl, accusing her of being too drunk to understand what was going on, but she was completely coherent, and just looking for her stolen belongings. like a lot of the other reviews say, if you come here, keep a death grip on your belongings or they might be stolen. also, for an lgtbq bar, theyre very closed-minded. the womens bathroom was absolutely disgusting and there was no toilet paper, so when people started going into the mens bathroom instead, anyone female presenting was kicked out and told to use the womens bathroom instead. an lgbt bar shouldnt even have gendered bathrooms to begin with! roccos is right down the street, and its a much more welcoming and safe environment!
Micky’s is really the place to be now. It’s very welcoming and in the WeHo ambiance. Sure the party is at Micky’s!Jason is our favorite bartender, who always make us welcome and super friendly! Always a good moment with him.
I was thrown out by the staff along my 2 friends 1 min after we paid 60 bucks and got in; why? bc they said we offered 100 bucks for alcohol after 2 am. NOT TRUE. If there was anyone that offered this, it was NOT us. Horrible treatment too... I tried to explain the situación, nothing. Paid 60 bucks for nothing
The bartenders were very cordial and tactful (especially Anthony). And the performers were nice too. BUT, one of the security guards was VERY RUDE. Upon their closing the store I was trying to go to the bathroom. And I was in the bathroom when the security guard came in and pushed me out, saying they’re closed. It was appalling that he should treat a customer in such a disgustingly violent way.
I went to Mickys tonight, and it left a sour taste in my mouth. I walked by and decided to stop by for some food since I was hungry. They were having their all-u-can-eat taco Tuesday. After purchasing their taco and a pitcher of beer, the bartender swiped my card and ignored me the rest of the time. Never came by to ask if I wanted another plate, even though it says All-You-Can-Eat, and they werent even that busy. If your business cant afford people eating your food, then dont advertise it like that. I even tipped the bartender 40%, but that was before I knew about the bad service. I should have waited to the end to signed the check, and gave him no tip just to make a point, but like I said he had already swiped my card. This bartender had a holier-than-thou attitude, and to add insult to injury, he showed his discontent by throwing loose change onto the floor in front of me as I was walking out in disgust! Ok, you are in the service industry, it doesnt matter how good your food is, or how cheap it is, or if your bartender is shirtless, or how many dancers you have, if your service is bad...all it takes is one time, one bad experience and that customer will never come back. No wonder all the other bars/restaurants around it is packed and theirs is not. THIS PLACE IS TRASH, DONT GO THERE.
THIEF hotspot with Unhelpful security. You might think It’s a kinda fun place to dance but the crowd is hiding pickpocketers and thieves who target you when you’re having fun. Friend got wallet and phone stolen and this is just 1 more story out of countless from here. Their lack of security protocol indoors should be investigated.
I **LOVE** Micky’s. It’s the HAPPIEST place on Earth!!! So many on here wrote about theft and shady behaviors. I have come to Mickys weekly for 4 years (excluding the lockdowns) and I never had a problem. The bartenders are nice. The dancers are fantastic.
Definitely worse less than 1 star actually! If you’re looking for nursery rhymes and a $20 cover fee, this might be the bar for you otherwise PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. Boring as hell and the worst part is they WILL charge YOU a cover fee and not have ANY alcohol!! Worst place to have a good time in WeHo!
I love Mickeys great dance floor and friendly bar staff. I have t been there for a long time but I always had an awesome time there. I loved the Rage also and a bartender there or at Mickeys named Stacy great bartender iconic bar. 🙂
Micky’s has the worst service ever. Rude security’s and rude bartenders. Absolutely horrible. Don’t come here trust me. I’ll recommend Abby 100 percent better than this place.
Phone and wallet was stolen last night between 2:00-4:00 am. Security was rude and was not helpful at all. After reading so many reviews about theft , I shouldve known that Mickeys is the ghetto of weho
Most bartenders nice, but the drinks are barely passable, and NO choices in wines, btw. -- AND, the front door and management are neither courteous, nor responsive to (legitimate!) complaints! -- Better to go to ANY other club on the street! Better drinks and better wine choices EVERYWHERE else.
Expect to be robbed by either the bartender or some random people!Lost my credit card and the bartender respond was “you should take care of your belongings”I mean it was with him 🤦🏻♂️Bad business!! Bad staff!! Very disappointed👎🏼
Mondays they have showgirls drag night. Really good crowd. Outdoor area thats spacious the only downside to that is everyone outside is smoking. Second floor is fun on the weekends cause usually it gets really crowded on first floor. Make sure whoevers at the front door knows what the cover charge is. Ive been twice and they got it wrong both times. But other than that its a peak of the night place to go.
Purchased a drink for $10 and left $2 in tips; checked my online bank account couple days later - turns out I left $37 in tips. Filling a police report with LAPD tomorrow. Since this place is well known for credit card fraud, I will most definitely press charge.
The music is good and the drag queens are fabulous!...the people who attend are also great. The problem I seem to consistantly have however, is the service from the bartenders..........They ALL seem to have the the same negative energy which in turn manifests as pure attitude and digust. It really destroys the beautiful atmosphere thats been set for this venue. Ive tried complaining on several occasions to management, but I never hear anything back...for obvious reasons. The only one whos ever really apologized and taken care of my concern, were the bouncers. I feel they hear the same issues as mine and thats why they were soo quick to apologize. I occasionally attend this bar due to the fact my friends and I luv the dancers and atmosphere of the party attendees. As GOD as my witness, I promoise that I will never buy a drink from Mickeys as long as im GAY lol. Horrible bar tenders with disgusting attitudes....they are lucky im being nice in this review. I havent even gone into detail how they treat people.Jonathan Thompson;)
Everything about my experience here was top notch! From the vibing security, to the insanely sweet and sexy GoGos, the bartender Eddie, and the badass manager Aaron. Not to mention the fire DJs Steve Oaks and Mike Orion…this is the party to be at!
This place has earned its stripes and its stars. Big favorites of my clients. Always an epic story every time they get back in the car. They’ve even invited me in a few times and the DJ on both nights was OG West Coast dance vibes. Legit.
Me and a group of friends are visiting LA for New Years. I’ve been researching what bars/clubs for us to go to. Never in my life, here or abroad, have I seen so many reviews about thefts of wallets/phones or rudeness of bartenders. I give this spot 1 star and I’ve never been. Not because I believe the masses but because I see no response EVER from the establishment. To me that says they simply dont care, or like some complaints mention... the staff is part of the mischief
The security in this place is terrible. There were a lot of people coming in by jumping the wall. Everyone was stolen, and the security guards were so rude to the victims. They were calling the victims pickpocketers and yelling with the victims. We tried to warn about the people jumping the wall, and they just ignored us.
After buying several drinks, and handling several of their drunk customers, I offered a recipe that I had learned through my global travels and was attacked by one of their bartenders who decided to start making it as I gave it. I will not be visiting again. At no point did I ask them to make it, I offered the recipe I response to handling their drunk customers.
Monday night drag show is worth coming out on a school night! The cast/host changes but always has a few RPDR alumni. Depending on the show there might even be a few Drag Race girls catching the show in the audience. Both the performers and crowd has great energy. Mo behind the bar pours great cocktails! Mickys takes reservations for the show, which I would recommend because seats fill quickly.
Terrible! I sometimes visit Mickys to chill after work, during their weekly Wednesday Wings event, from 5pm to 9pm. I visited on 6/7/2017 at 7:45pm, sat at a table on the patio, and no one asked me what I wanted. After I pro-actively spoke to a server, he informed me, I needed to order at the bar, around 7:58pm. I immediately went to the bar and ordered a cocktail and wings. The bartender brought out the drink directly, however I didnt receive 4 wing-sections until, 8:15pm, after I ordered a 2nd drink! The Wednesday Wings are supposed to be an all-you-can-eat weekly event, yet the server did not visit to me again after serving me two cocktails and 4 wings-sections. The bad service, the 4 all-you-can-eat-wing-parts and two cocktails I ordered, were not worth the price I paid!
This place seriously hit an all time low. Last night, we went out and went there. After being there for awhile, they kicked on of our friends out. We proceed to leave and my friend, who is 56 130lbs gets tackled to the ground by 3 of their security guards. After that, two other guards came after two more of my friends and choked them out. They also punched him in his face, broke his nose, and even bit him on the neck. In addition to all of that. They went though their pockets and wallets while they had them pressed against the ground and took their money. They also took my phone as well. I tried to call the place, but you cant get ahold of anyone. On top of that, they voicemail boxes are all full. How can people go to a place to have fun and in turn get beaten up and robbed by the people that are supposed to protect them
I came in to see a drag show with my daughter and the show was fun but the drinks are overpriced and watered down a lot. The security steals phones as well so beware.
This place used to be fun, last time I went the only one that seemed to have some decency and humanity was the guy selling shooters on the tray. So many bad reviews about theft and rudeness. What really irks me is that management doesnt seem to care or rectify the problem with patrons.
My girlfriend had her wallet and phone stolen from her purse, staff didnt care at all told her we hear that all the time and was a battle to even re enter to check. Dont even bother going here, unless you like getting robbed.
Great place to have fun but I’m telling you be careful with your phone they will steal it. Even if you have it on your purse they will open it and take your phone. I’ve had several friends who have had there phone stolen from here.
This place has become pretty bad. My phone was stolen twice, called the manager never got a call back...And really! People giving BJ in the middle of the dance floor 😱 if you like that then that will be your place...wasnt mine.
I went last Sunday 11-11-19 and the bartenders were super rude and racist. I felt discriminated for my heavy accent (im visiting US) I asked for a manager and they did want to call him. I was overcharged, 1 drink (vodka with juice) $18.32. Poor customer service.
Mickeys was great but post covid its he said she said... I tried to drop $2Gs for bottle service and went through 5 different people before ultimately going to Roccos. It was actually kinda a test cause Im about to drop another 2Gs for a going away party and whelp I know where Im going. Its a little ridiculous considering Ive seen Stefano have bottle service multiple times and I doubt hes paying for it...
Great music and entertainment but the white neck beard security guard will pickpocket you and then kick you out when you call them on it.Used find my iPhone to see it was still in the club for days after, and when I call they say it’s not there and there’s nothing in lost and found. SUS af. I swear they have a trove of all these “lost” phones and wallets, and lie until people give up looking for them. The bouncers are all in on it.
Currently travelling internationally and made an error when booking. This establishment refused to open a dialogue to resolve the situation. Bad business practice and does not want me to attend this club with my party.
Mickys is a cool place to get down and they even have some good happy hour specials on the weekdays. If you want to see some go-go eye candy then be sure to go here. Sometimes they have women dancers and oh my gosh they are sexy! There is also the upstairs where I usually find that there is a big dance floor and its really easy to find someone to dance with. Oh, and when I went for New Years Eve, I saw JD from the Real World serving drinks, so he works there for all you RW fans! 3.5 stars for Mickys!!
Theres always a lot of people inside and out in the patio area. The upstairs part is never open, the music isnt the best. Its the epitome of how cookie cutter and boring the community is at night. No one ever dances either. They have an abundant amount of dancers on stage, but they dont really do much besides step side to side.
Please guys, everyone and especially women. Stay away from this bar for your own safety. This bar is hiring unprofessional security guards on the entrance who im assume there are no differences between them and prisoners!! I’ve had so many bad experience everytime i wanna get inside, for any small thing they are ready to attack, and once they attack, the other one will attack and at the end, what??!! It’s my fault. There are so many lawsuits against them but they are protected from the sheriff and city for some reasons I don’t know why, that’s why security guards knows that they are protected for some reason and they are ready to attack. On top of that, they cheat on their drinks by not following what other bars does when it comes to the amount of liquor inside the glass before they fill the rest with mixer, I’ve been coming to West Hollywood so many times during 5 years and i know everything about the area. Micky’s has the worst service between all bars in Weho and got prisoners security guards waiting to attack you for any small reason, BEWARE.
They will steal your phone!!!!! Myself & 2 friends have had phones stolen from our pockets here. I would suggest not going at all, but if you do dont keep your phone out or in your pockets, put in a bag or purse.
When I think of adventure and fun, I think of Mickys in West Hollywood. Everyone here always made me feel welcome. I performed here countless times, the visitors embraced my talent and with their hands up in the air encouraged me to give them the best of me. I love you all very much, the staff, the visitors, and everyone who contribute to my global success as the worlds No.1 superstar.
Was in town to visit from Detroit. RuPauls Drag Con was going on and some of my other friends were in town for that and we decided to all meet up here. Nice atmosphere and everyone I talked to seemed friendly
A patron was either overdosing or was roffied in the restroom, I told 2 bartenders, they both said oh yeah, ok and didnt do anything. I told a security guard and also nothing. My friend had to drag the patron out if the restroom himself and dragged her out. Her friends found her and took over. The lack of concern from the staff is worrisome. They had no problem tell people to move when the line got crazy but when dragging a potentially overdosing patron out of their place they didnt say a word. Terrible place. We will be contacting the BBB and tell them about the situation.
Micky’s is great! Love their Drag Race viewing party on Fridays - I bring friends some times and everyone always loves it.
Terrible i used to love this place until the incident i had recently my best friend from out of town and i stayed til the bar closed like everyone we were rushed to leave okay then we realized we forgot the car keys /house keys so we made our way back and the staff refused to even check and laughed at us and the crowd after i explained i have kids to go home to, we asked them to search they said no come back tomorrow taunting us and others for our missing belongings things tuened violent i was pushed by a staff member and i got hurt for trying to recover my property THEN the cops came and guess what they had them check for my keys and low and behold THEY WERE THERE .. very upsetting that it had to take a horrible turn just because they did not want to return me my property. Unprofessional staff never going back (also others have said many things about this place and i brushed it off like maybe a bad night but no its all true ! ) and no this was nothing to do w alcohol intake we actually were there for hours trying to get our stuff back literally took the cops who sided with us and asked them to check all while all the staff was laughing and pointing at me pleading them to please just check and return them
If you want to hang out for brunch on a Saturday there is no place better than Micky’s drag brunch in WeHo. Great show, fantastic drag queens and a perfect atmosphere for a lazy Saturday in L.A. We love it!
Left my debit card at the bar, called so many times and never got an answer. Went to the bar for 3 days in a row and the manager won’t even come out to help or answer any questions. TERRIBLE experience that basically confirms all the reviews regarding theft. This is no way to conduct business or treat customers
What a waste of money. DONT BUY GENERAL ADMISSION! You dont get any guarantee to see anything. Left after spending $60 on 4 tix and didnt get to see anything more than I could see on my TV at home. Overpriced overall and misleading.
So sad! Just because the security is in the bad mood we got kick out! Okay so we played with the curtains no harm just having pure fun but we got kick out because i was a LADY and i am asian maybe!!!!??? I dont know i was waiting for an explanation but they can’t explain either. 😳🤪
No tap water. That should be a crime. It’s a poor business practice at the least. Water is a right not a commodity. Charge me all you want for a cocktail, but provide free tap for your patrons.
Two years ago I had a blast at Mickeys. There I met beautiful go go girls & go go boys. What a happy place! There we really can enjoy the best kind of music.
Anyone who would give Mickeys less than 5 stars is obviously lame! Go here for the best time of your life!
Got my phone stolen here and security didn’t care at all. You’d think if it were such a rampant problem, the bar would try to do something about it.
They made us pay $20 for a cover fee and when we got in they were no longer serving alcohol. I travel this country a lot and never have I experienced this regardless of how big the city is. Never coming again.
Im loving drag race on Thursdays. Usually not a fan of Mickys, unless already loca, but have to admit have always enjoyed the drag viewing shows here. Will most likely return for the drag shows on Monday/Tues. Wish they had one on Thursday though, Id for sure go.
Nice place but my partner asked for tequila cut with water and was given a margarita, twice. I myself witnessed a worker use the bathroom and not wash their hands.
This is the worst club EVER! IT IS NOT OK TO BEAT UP YOUR COSTUMERS! , EVEYONE PLEASE BEWARE! I had paid to get in, got stamped, had gone to the bathroom, washed my hands and the stamp had faded a little so I was trying to get out and asked the guy to stamp me again so i can get back in later, and what does he do? He calls the security. They put me to the ground 2 huge security guards, (mind you Im only 53 110lbs) handcuff me, drag me outside ( while hitting me) and throw me against the wall in a chokehold. Im bruised from head to toe and my entire body is in pain. This has effected me drastically physically and mentally and i will be seeking legal action and will press charges ASAP! NO WOMAN SHOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH SUCH TORTURE AND PAIN! THIS IS NOT A 3rd WORLD COUNTRY! SHAME ON YOU MICKEYSs FOR PUTTING ME THROUGH THIS ABUSE!
I got my wallet stolen from my pocket. Tried contacting Mickeys after in hope they would turn it in since i only had cards in my wallet but no response what so ever. Seems that pickpocketing is a big issue here.
The ugly bartender kick me out because my friends card was declining and I ask if I can pay for the drinks with my card, but they still kick me out and didn’t kick the card owner out. Ironically I’m black and he was white.
Such a great place ruined by such basic DJs. Especially the after hours dj from 2-4. IDK if they use different DJs but shamaz would detect the same song for 2 hours straight. Its the same beat for 2 hours. Makes edm look bad. Honestly the worst music of any bar from 2 to 4 am. Beaches is taking over.
Im long time patron of this establishment and can say they do better at handling the situation of the bar after renovation which occurred after fire. They have made it much more upscale and the gays and others seem to enjoy it.
The WORST place for a night out. And following days. My ID, purse, and bank card were stolen. AND ME AND MY FRIENDS WERE ROOFIED. Watch your drinks and all of your belongings if you go here.
ClubbingNess at Mickys is Lovely 🍹🍺🍸
Best Staff, All Genuinely Nice Amazing Guys From The Dancers, Promotors, DJs, Bartenders (Especially) To the Secuity! They make sure everyone feels welcome and is having Fun!I have some of the best Memories of this Club, Especially one night after the Pulse Shooting, we had a Candlelight Vigil Here. It was Touching. I love the Sense of Community you find in #Castro & #WeHoPlus #TacoTuesday & #IceCreamSunday !!! ☀️🌴🍹🌮❤️
Not necessairly a fault of the bar, but as Europeans we were not aware that alcohol serving stops after 02.00 in California. Would be nice when this is clear before paying 20 dollars to get in.
Went here a couple of times while holidaying from Australia. The best night is Monday nights with dreamgirls. Morgan McMichaels is an outstanding entertainer and the most pleasent individual. Totally fan girled trying to get a picture with her & she ended up chatting to me for ages. Total highlight of the holiday.
Super fun gay bar with great energy and a fun crowd. Music was great. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed. The drinks are a little pricey but that’s the case in WeHo!
Depending on the night, the best place to dance and have fun. I prefer it over the so-famous abbey. I love Mickys. It rocks! No attitude, just fun!
Great place to hang out. They do not water down drinks. The food is good and so is the service. The employees there are always smiling and very pleasant.
Got my phone and wallet stolen out of my pockets last week. Had two other friends get their phones stolen in the same month. Keep your phone in your hand and not in your pockets when youre here.
Very attractive dancers and bartenders, generally good music, great patio and an alternate upstairs all add up to a nice bar. Charging a cover and acting like a club is unacceptable though.
My cell phone was stolen, I reported the incident and they did absolutely nothing, other people reported the exact same thing, be careful, it seems that there are people stealing in that place all the time
It has been awhile since Ive been here . noticed some changes. When the bartender was chatting with his friend at bar , service was good. Loved the 2 for 1 beer @ happy hour .
PICKPOCKETING!!! Don’t go here! There’s a group of people that kick it here every weekend and steal peoples cell phones. Multiple people I know have gotten their phones stolen on different occasions & security won’t help you either. I wouldn’t be surprised if security is in on it too.
8 phones got STOLEN on the night we were there .DJ refused to announce it . Said : oh we have 10 people like you here - EVERY night out . Be careful . Hold your phone in your hand at all times . Not in your handbag , not in your pocket . Hold it the whole time !
Be extremely cautious at this bar the bartenders have been known to Rufie and poison drinks my friend was poisoned from a bartender here and ended up in the er so please use caution!!!
Nothing special, the music was good, the gogo-dancer coming up to me while were at the bar with friends and trying to rub his thing onto my hand to get money was not cool. I tip when I want and when I feel its appropriate thank you very much.
This bar usually gets pretty packed Because even though they stop serving alcohol at 2am Sometimes they will stay open till 3 and keep the dj going, they have a 2nd level but they close it at a certain time, they have a Large Smoking patio too.
The hours are the best because it closes at 4am last call at 3, free entrance before 12 , drinkss are ok and food its good, 2 dancefloors the music its good but it gets too crowded in the second level, thats never FUN.
Bartenders are not consistent with their drinks. The music that is played at the club need some help. It seems that the DJ needs to be let go, or take a few moments and see what music is being played now.
DO NOT GO HERE! Me and my friends phones got stolen here, and the staff was useless. My other friend saw someone with their hand in her purse. Do yourself a favor and never set foot in this bar.
Got my phone stolen along with a few other peoples belongings Security was completely useless and rude. They could not care less.
The bartender was super rude, they lost my card and they called me an idiot in front of the manager and the manager did nothing about that... please dont come here they ruined my trip
Was there for the drag show on Monday. It was fun, Morgan McMicheals read me because I was from Scotland which was a laugh. Cute staff.
Fun spot, cool dancers, good music. Bartenders are a little jerky but just give them a good tip at the beginning and youll be fine.
This has always been my hangout . For a long time. Even before it was on fire. Its a good idea place to stay alive with your kind of people & family that you fit in with.
Mickeys is really fun and its closes at 4am so you can have fun all night. the top floor closes at 2:30 thats the only part that sucks
Its a fun place. The remodel is super awesome. However they almost always charge cover and it gets super crowded. And drinks are strong but almost as expensive as an abby drink.
Stop with the rupaul that has a bad sound and just gives you a headache, be on time when you perform (really annoying to sit for an hour with a bad sound system), the music was good when rupaul was not on, staff was fun
This Mickeys its so terrible I miss the Mickeys from over 10 yrs ago when the men were real men and did have a hair stuck in there crack and came up to u to enjoy the moment and so unlike today everyone is so stuck on there image its sad to say too much hungry btm can I get a vers to go..
Best gay bar in WeHo, friendly owner and hot gogo boys (Yari) xx
Only after hours in town. Nice Go Go Dancers. Free on weekends before 2a.m Open till 4a.m.
An older gentleman with glasses bartending at the outside patio threw straws at my friend when he was trying to order a drink, terrible customer service
Ilove to relax unwind and relaxing talk to Alex. ... the bartener At mickeys....dance ....the treat me very well...great customer service.
Rude service and no drinks or price list so they can scam customers. Also has a horrible reputation for theft.
Mickys is a popular WeHo spot but by virtue of its size, theres usually room to get in. Drinks are reasonably priced, vibe is decent.
Service sucks but it seems like it’s always lit here .
There needs to be a water station. It dangerous to not have water available for people.
If you want your phone stolen. Come to this place. Seems like a common thing too.
Worst place ever!!!!!!!!!! Got my phone stolen!!! Other people outside asking to go back because there phones went missing as well, asked to go back in to get my phone manage had the biggest Attitude ever very on called for. If I could give 0 starts I would 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
This place is definitely not for me. Bad service. Bad/angry waiters bad music bad bartenders. I would NEVER at any circumstance go there again. Bye Mickys.
Monday night Showgirls performance was scheduled to start at 10pm and it is now 10:45 and the show has not started. Seating situation very unorganized.
Very ghetto staff they sell drinks after 2:00 am and long lines at that to wait for them .
Hello, if you wanna change a new phone, yea you can come here lol, you know what I mean 😇
Loved the drinks and dancers are so cute! Russian dancer is the best! Please tip well!
My boyfriend and I came down from Vegas to go to Drag Con, and we had the best time here. A must go to when in WeHo.
Half full and the people there weren’t even nice I miss this place do just be better boo I mean I guess the employees are the ones who have to step it up
A place where I wanna dance my heart out and forget my name after a few drinks !
My first in wehos night life and mickys was a blast -even better if I didnt go overboard and being so wasted! Lolz
Fun! Had great music! Went for a friend’s birthday!
Friday night here was awesome. Great DJ & awesome music, and the folks who come here love to dance!
It is nonsense that they don’t let you go inside just because your driver license expired
The drinks, and the service were great, a fun, friendly vibe that made the first night of vacation in Los angelas even better.
Y’all should turn on the AC (it’s SWEATING HOT) and switch from glass to plastic cups there’s shards everywhere!
Teach your ice guys respect and not have them nudge you with the freezing cold ice bucket whenever they need to get though, very rude at least say excuse me.
Terrible customer service. I’ve been calling them the past couple of days but get no answer each time. Went in person and it was the same as calling, no response and no answers. Also my friend’s phone got stolen here!
If you are not a cis gender man, stay away! It is not a safe place! Beware!
The Monday night shows are a lot of fun, seating is just uncomfortable and it feels very cramped.
Great after hours and two dance floors but they refused to serve tap water in the bar?!
I thought was a cool place until a bartender named Micheal show his a misogynistic and racist person... Idk how that happens in an LA gay club:(
Second floor feels really trashy, but the place is fun, stays open late, and the staff is good.
Had my phone taken out of my purse twice :( no bueno
The barbacks need to stop taking drinks that are half full..it happens to me a few times a month...especially when im dancing
I like to go there.. I from Las Vegas n Drive 3 Hrs to go there... All the GoGo dancer are handosme.. More Alex Navarro..!! 😘
The music and atmosphere was nice. I enjoyed the entertainment they had as well.
Honestly, I never got Mickys. 12-yr-olds as go-go dancers. Another weho identity problem.
Awesome bartenders, great drinks, and the drag shows are awesome! I seeeeeee the hole in the curtain! >=]
Hot guys, great crowd and great drag shows! Cant wait to come back all the time!
Upstairs has good R&B & Hip-Hop music. Does have a cover charge sometimes.
Drinks are super expensive but there is some great music and eye candy!!!
PRO: Entertainment and Drag Shows are GREAT!CON: Drinks are VERY pricey..😕
Cool vibe but rude bartender
DECEMBER 2019SECURITY ASSULT CUSTOMERS. More on Facebook and those reviews. You’re all going down.
Would love them to reply to my messages about lost and found and to not just continually ignore me.
Ive quickly become a regular. Watch for their specials, theyre well worth it.
Fun place BUT friend got her phone stollen here so be extra careful !!
Like 30 strippers and 1.5 bartenders.
DJ was great playing lively house music keeping everyone dancing.
They really charged me $54 for two Moscow mules, what a scam
One of my favorite places it’s always packed and tons of fun
The best GoGos
Lol I love how all of the bad reviews are from women. 🤣 Love this place!
Gross. Don’t go here. If you turn down an employee you’ll be kicked out.
Fun bar.Ive been here a few times, had a blast every time
