I have been coming to the Hollywood location for a few years now and have an excellent massage therapist Helen. She really works on the areas of tension and stress and is very knowledgeable about the muscles and how they work together. She also incorporates aromatherapy based on my needs, like detox or relaxation. When Helen uses the hot Himalayan salt stones I feel immediate pain relief. The Hollywood location is very professional, clean and the staff all greets me by name. Since I get weekly treatment, I feel so refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of my week!
Awesome place! Theresa B gave me an excellent massage!! (And I get the often.) She listened to my concerns and focused on exactly what I needed. It was a deep tissue therapeutic massage. I will definitely ask for her. The facility was very nice and clean. Everyone was very nice! I highly recommend this location!
Had to use tge rest room before my 90 min massage. By pure luck, my masseuse walks out of the bathroom as I go in, and I can still see the toilet water spinning. As I stand there reading the sign, employees must wash hands.We got a couples massage, and as in other reviews, we were out the door 15 minutes before our massage should have ended.My massage was far from relaxing. It was more like my mom putting suntan lotion on me as a child, all in a hurry like. Could have been done at 1/2 the speed, and It would have been so much better.Im probably not gonna be back, sorry. 3 strikes, and youre out.
The most horrible massage in my life. Massage therapist Maria does not know how to do a massage. Total amateur with the massage. My 10 year old nephew could have done a better job.I requested a deep massage and asked for focus on my thighs and back. This lady just kept putting oil and rubbing my skin up and down my back with her fist. I asked her if she can please massage deep on my shoulder and all she does is use her elbow up and down. There was no kneading done to actually feel a massage. It was the majority rubbing your skin like youre putting on lotion.When it got down to my legs, she spent the whole time putting oil on my calfskin and feet. I informed her if she can please focus on my thighs since that is where I have knots. She just put oil and put her hands up and down lightly with no pressure. I requested her to go deep and she still could not do it.This honestly felt like a waste of money and a wasted massage session for the month since I am a member. I wanted to switch up and go to a different place close to the beach to massage and relax. I was more frustrated than relaxed. I shouldnt have to coach a person on how to massage.Im not sure if Maria is even licensed. No way the work is of a licensed massage therapist. Extremely amateur performance.

I’m from pompano but figured I’d try another location and for sure I’m only coming here now. The drive was well worth it! I usually always try to leave a good review but I am very disappointed in Massage Envy. I was in the area on vacation and had scheduled two 90 minute massages for my sister-in-law and myself. The night before our appointment my sister-in-law who is in her 70s fell and I wasn’t sure if we were going to need to get medical attention so I called to cancel the appointments. I was told I had to pay $40 per appointment because they couldn’t schedule anything else for the therapist. This was an emergency situation and I have thought that there may have been some empathy but no. I was actually charged $70 each totaling $114. Poor business practice. I have a bad taste in my mouth for Massage Envy. I had wanted to try them out and thought about a membership. Not now
During our initial visit to the establishment, three of us arrived. I was the first to enter, and my family members followed approximately 15 minutes later. Upon exiting the facility, I discovered that they had been waiting for me for 10 minutes. They had each received a 30-minute massage. Unfortunately, the receptionist, Laura, and another individual there were not particularly welcoming or accommodating. Consequently, it is unlikely that we will return to this establishment in the future.
Been a member for 1.5 years... I have gone to 3 different locations. The west hollywood is my fave.Once you find the right masseuse for you, it is fabulous.
I went to Massage Envy for the first time in South Florida, the Sheridan location. I have not had a massage since my therapist left Florida in 2021 because of covid. Ed was the therapist I saw. Hear me when I say this...HIS...HANDS...ARE...MAGICIAL!!! He had me walking on cloud 9 when I left. My only 2 wishes are that I lived closer and that I had a longer massage.
Amazon spa experience. The staff is extremely professional and well trained. The massage therapist and estheticians are some of the best in the area.

I went for a 90 min deep tissue massage. I went in 5 minutes after my husband. I saw his therapist come out, let him undress and go back in before my therapist Helen came to get me. I told her I wanted a deep tissue. She sighed and said she just did one, and I could tell she was tired, but I did specify at booking that I needed deep tissue when making the appointment over phone more than once. After consultation, I waited in my bed with a phone and sent a message off just as she walked back in from our quick consult. So, it was timed, as she started within the minute I saw that message send. No talking throughout, but heard her mutter a lot to herself. Not sure if she was wearing headphones and repeating?When I was told it was finished, i got dress and went to wait at the front desk for my husband. To my surprise, he was still getting his massage in the room. I looked at my phone and the time was 8:16pm. I was actually supposed to be only finishing my massage at 8:26pm before even getting dressed.She shorted me a total of about 15 mins from the 80 minute active massage. I went in 5 minutes after my husband and came out 10 minutes before he did.Getting about 65 minutes for an 80 minute massage is unacceptable. Started at 7:06pm on my phone, but was out of my room and in the lobby by 8:16pm for a 90 minute (80 minute service) massage that I paid for with my monthly membership.Seriously? Unacceptable, unprofessional and absolutely disgusting to try and dupe your paying customers. I waited 10 minutes for my husband to finish his massage, which by the way, was the time I was supposed to end mine before even putting on my clothes to get out. It just made my angrier. Appointment will be reported to headquarters. When you pay for your 90 minute time, you should be getting the full 80 minutes. Treating guests like theyre too stupid to notice is an absolute mistake.Following up over a month later. I wrote headquarters and left them my email and phone, and no one cares about your feedback. They didnt call back or email even though I encouraged them to. Dont go here, and if you have a bad experience, they dont care. Neither does headquarters.

I definitely recommend this location, honestly Im signing up for membership because of therapist Edward G. One hour a week minimum with him is a new requirement in My Life. Truly talented at stress relief, takes his time, money well spent!!!! Thank you Massage Envy!
The masseuses are fantastic but the admin, front desk people are constantly not providing all information when scheduling, temporarily suspended service and the fees to unsuspend. Terrible at best, Ive had too many miss communications going on that are completely aggravating. they dont communicate well at all
I had a bad experience with my massage. I got a feedback form, I described my experience candidly. It asked if I wanted a manager to reach out to me, I said yes. No one ever got back to me. Giving two stars because my mom went there too but she did like her massage therapist.

DONT GET A MEMBERSHIP at this location! They took two months to cancel my membership and did not respond to my numerous cancellation email requests. Also, they conveniently forgot to mention it is a one year contract and cannot transfer credits once you cancel. I activated membership at the location in Ft. Lauderdale, much better service.
Terrible people service by front desk staff Kimberly, Managers Marcie & Jodie. This Franchise location is a disgrace to ME. I have been a ME since 2011, never experienced horrible service at other ME locations. High turn over of therapists, therapists earn lousy $22 hour. Jodie is horrible manager no compassion, grace for long term clients. . I got sick, ended up in the ER, I rescheduled appt. Still got penalized for being sick in the hospital.called to reschedule my appoint, I got charged for a No show. I showed up the following day for my appointment. the manager Jody never called me back as I was promised

If youre looking for a complete body tune-up make sure you ask for Kevin and sign up for the 90 minute session, as it is the most beneficial since it takes the body a full 20 minutes to relax! Who knew? Kevin kindly detailed what was going to happen from beginning to end. I told him my hands and feet were important and explained why those areas were also important.I also want to mention that Ive been with Massage Envy for over 20 years now. The company keeps up with the latest massage techniques, etc. for the well being of the client. The company also believes in safety for the client and its employees.Employees must have (background checks) every year.I really want to know that I am in a safe environment when I or a family member or friend is getting a massage or facial. Peace of mind.Ive had the best massage service with Johnny, Helen, Alejandro, and please ask for Dee when getting a facial. Each is personable and has an expertise of their own and good sound recommendations for enhancements. Ive had the rapid tension relief upgrade which reached deeper into the muscle tissue and even improved my range of motion.I also tried the CBD cream, and Wow! I was so relaxed, and energized at the same time! I totally recommend the upgrade. The ambiance was perfect, bedding was clean, and the staff was great! I cant wait to visit again 🤗.
Gary was absolutely amazing and very receptive to my needs. If you like medium to deep pressure, you should book him immediately. I got a 90 minute session with him and he focused on my very specific problem areas that I had told him about. In particular, I have been having some issues with my right foot and he knew EXACTLY where to put pressure and was working at the precise location for a very decent amount of time. Thank you so much for your amazing work. Highly recommend and would love another session in the future.

1. Extremely unprofessional front desk staff.2. Had a 90 minute couples massage scheduled that began at 9am. By 10:10 we were done. When I brought the time discrepancy to their attention, they were dismissive and tried to convince us that the 90minutes included our undress and paper work/consultation time. I was also informed that you technically only receive 80 minutes of contact time. We were still charged for the full 90 minutes.3. My masseuse left in the middle of my massage to get water.
I hadnt been to a Massage Envy in years, and after today I will not be back.After arriving, filling out paperwork, and being seated in the waiting area, my partner and I were advised that we would not be able to have our massages done in the same room, even though we had purchased the couples special. We were offered no discount for the inconvenience.Both of our massages were just okay, and my masseuse talked through the entire 2nd half of mine.After we were done, I found out that I was supposed to have a salt foot scrub that I did not receive. Also, my partner was charged double, even after voicing her concern that she had already been charged.To their credit, the front desk attendant did call to advise that the double charge had been refunded. But there were too many hiccups and the damage had been done.Would not advise..
I was very excited to start my journey with Massage Envy until I had the worst experience with the manager Ashley at the East Hollywood location. You may have a much better experience if you are not a person of color.I had an appointment set up and Massage Envy contacted me to reschedule because one of their aestheticians called out. I worked with them and altered my schedule, which was a huge inconvenience, in order to help them help me.The time they rescheduled me for didn’t allow me to get the massage and facial that I originally wanted, so I had to choose one or the other. After working all month long, all I want is a massage and facial once a month. I did not want to do one or the other. I requested to reschedule and ended up getting charged $20 for a cancellation and received no service.Massage Envy and their management team did not help me take care of me. Ashley didn’t have a care in the world or any type of sympathy toward the situation. Ashley hated the fact that a young, African American, male had a monthly Massage Envy membership. I work way too hard to be treated this way and the entire situation is unfair.I am currently waiting to file a claim with my bank and I have canceled all of my appointments with Massage Envy East Hollywood. I wish to never step foot in this location and I hope to get a refund and continue my journey at a different Massage Envy location.
I cannot emphasize enough the exquisite experience I had with the East Hollywood Massage Envy. This office should be teaching the national franchise class on bespoke customer service.I have been a member of Massage Envy for over 10 years and I have never encountered this level of customer experience or competency. (Note: Im from the Washington, DC area and am spending the month in Hollywood). Which is surprising, considering how my day on January 23rd started.I arrived for my 10:00 am massage and after waiting for about 5 minutes, received news that my therapist would not be in and I had to change my plans. However, that is where the bad news ended. The extremely competent manager, ASHLEY, wasted no time noticing that I had been waiting (after only 5 minutes past my scheduled time) remedying the situation. After walking past me sitting in an empty waiting room, I could hear ASHLEY immediately start trying to locate my therapist. (This stood out to me because I have checked in at other Massage Envy locations and been left waiting from upwards of 10-15 minutes past my scheduled appointment time without anyone noticing.) The fact that ASHLEY was aware of what was happening in her store and immediately took action is impressive to me.When ASHLEY came to tell me that my 10 am appointment was not going to happen, she immediately re-booked me that same day (also very rare) and offered to comp a portion of my service. That certainly improved my day and I was happy to accommodate.While waiting for my afternoon appointment, Ashley even called me and offered me another time slot as an earlier option. On that call, I let her know that it was my birthday and I appreciated the extra effort she was making to ensure I received good service.When I returned back for my services that afternoon (massage and facial), ASHLEY also offered me an add-on service for my birthday. The massage I received was exquisite. GINA was so skilled, that I booked a repeat appointment the following week. My facial was also to die for. The skill level of the esthatecian (DEE) was beyond expert!! She even fixed some problems I had been struggling with for over 6 months!!! To further exceed my expectations and end my special day on a high note, ASHLEY surprised me with a birthday cupcake, DEE the esthatecian and ANDREA the front desk professional sent me home with a swag bag of skin care samples to test, and as I walked out hugging everyone, there was a smile on my face and a skip in my step.In todays society, quality customer service is becoming harder to find. The team at this location were beyond experts. Massage Envy corporate needs to visit this location and figure put how to bottle what they are serving.Thank you ASHLEY, ANDREA, GINA & DEE for making my visit and experience memorable. You definitely exceeded my expectations.
I had THE worse experience going here. I called two days to reserve my spouse’s and I’s couples massage. Got done with our activities a little early and called to see if I could be taken and was told that everything was booked and I would have to come at my scheduled time. No problem. My appointment was at 730, I arrived at 7, filled out paperwork and waited patiently for my turn. We got called to the back waiting area where we sat for a few minutes. Shortly after we arrive, and by shortly I’m talking 20 minutes in to the wait, a gentleman joined the waiting area. It was still a nice vibe until I realized it was 815 and my spouse and I still hadn’t been seen. I went to the front and asked how much longer because our appointment was behind and the front desk called and checked and came back and stated that we would be next. I went back to the waiting room and relayed the message to my spouse. About 5 min after coming back the gentleman who came after us was brought back, his appointment wasn’t until 830. Now I’m VERY upset because I feel like this is either a race thing or a homophobic situation because we had been sitting there WAITING and still had NOT been seen. My wife went to the front desk and told them that we were leaving and discussed her disappointment and lack of professionalism when it came to bookings and appointments. I asked for a card so that I could inform the manager, instead I was given a massage envy card with their info. I am very upset and would NEVER go back to such a place. This place shouldn’t cater to people if they’re not going to uphold their own booking schedule. I still want to speak with someone regarding this because this discrimination wasn’t needed, especially towards A POTENTIAL PAYING CUSTOMER. If I could rate NO stars I would!
I’ve been in other massages envy before and this is the dirtiest one I’ve ever seen. This is the place where I had the best massage ever, but in a matter of weeks the therapist was gone, i’m wondering why... the receptionist were super gross and messy. I’m pretty sure that they were stealing the therapist tip, so I always tried to leave the tip in the card or give it straight to the therapist if it was is cash.
So disorganized. The therapist wasnt the best (I booked a therapeutic massage with an experienced therapist and thats not what I received), and the front desk staff werent professional by any means. After being asked about my health history in public, having front desk yelling between them, I left in a hurry after paying. The manager called me after and apologized for the experience. Asked me to come back again and give them another try, which I will. But... Would have liked to enjoy my first massage when I needed it most.UPDATE: okay, so after speaking with the manager I decided to give it another shot. I booked a 90-minute massage with Marisol for Tuesday at 2:30pm. I got a confirmation call the day before for Tuesday at 2: 30pm. Then I got a strange call an hour before my appointment by the manager saying that I had changed my appointment to be with the last therapist I had (and didnt like). I said that I didnt change it and that I had gotten the confirmation yesterday for Tuesday at 2:30 pm for a 90 minute massage with Marisol. The manager got weird, and said okay great well see you at 2:30. Haha ok???When I arrived Marisol was very nice, the massage was good. But it was only 60 minutes?When I got to the front to pay, the staff said that it was listed on my account that I was to pay the intro rat, but no mention of the 30-minures free the manager had offered me over the phone. I mentioned this 3 times and the front staff said that the 30 minute upgrade is only available to members, and I was to pay the intro rate. They said that the manager only told me I would get 30 minutes free so that I would be encouraged to come back and commit to the monthly massage program, only then would I get the 30 minute free upgrade?this company blows me away... I will not come back. Do not try to call me and waste more of my time. I would recommend anyone reading this find a different place to have a massage. These guys are way too disorganized for your business.
I’ve been a therapist there. The massage therapist that work there are good professional workers, but the stuff manager doesn’t treat the therapist probably. Besides that, the receptionist stole my tip from the customer when they give it in cash. And the owner, Tony Buteras, wouldn’t do anything about it. Not happy about the experience of working there at all.What you can expect as a costumer?!!!
I was going to a different Hollywood location and was very unhappy , so yesterday this location in east hollywood was able to get me in last minute. I had a 90 min with Kevin and omg … he was amazing !He listened to me .. focused on my problem areas . I am so happy I found him and already booked my next appt with him !!
Watch out! They tend to change your appointment time within a few hours of notice to accommodate their needs, without caring for the client schedule. When I tried to cancel the appointment the receptionist threatened to charge me. I Called the manager to complaint and she offered an enhancement to my massage. If it would resolve their unprofessionalism So I paid for the appointment and will never go back there.
I used to run Ironmans, Now Im limited to do long Road Bike rides, I visit Envy massage after a long road and i have to say that the service is phenomenal. Nadine the manager of this location is very dedicated to what she does and make sure everyone gets the service they deserve. I choose Ivan, he is one of the therapist in that location and he really put me back together, all bones and mussels came to where it supposed to be. I totally recommend this location for your massage, you will feel like new
I have only been a member for 2 months and the customer service has been awful.. I was scheduled with a therapist I requested not have anymore...I was then offered a complimentary massage...When I came back to get said massage I was told I would have to pay. After a long conversation with the front desk staff with no resolution I left.. The next day I called thw manager and told her the situation.. She said she would get back to me by the end of the day. Never heard back... In the meantime I got a text reminder for a massage I never scheduled... 5 days later I called them and was given the free massage with an add on... I went for the message and was over charged for the 90 minute massage...It should be $23 and the front desk person charged me $29.. Now I have to call them again...this time will be to cancel my membership...
Rude Front Desk Staff, DO NOT SIGN MEMBERSHIP ITS ACTUALLY A CONTRACT. they will try to keep up-selling and give you the run around when you ask to cancel. Was told auto renew was off when i was at location only to get a call later from a very rude employee telling me how its not off and why i should keep it on. refused to listen to what i wanted just cared about contract and convincing me. Massage was very good but not worth the aggravation after. If i do not receive a copy of my cancellation will reach out to corporate offices shortly.

Horrible customer service. I scheduled an appointment online for today at 6:30, with 5 days in advance. I received a ohone call letting me know that I had the free massage available on friday , and I let the woman know that I had already booked an appoinment. She made me a verbal confirmation about the appoinmen. I was here on time tiday and they said that my appoinment is not there. They called to the other location and bothing . The receptionist didn’t even apologized and with a tired pker face offered me an appoinment at 9:00 PM. I accepted the appointment at first, but 10 minutes after , I called to canceled it because wast too late for me. She start saying that she was going to firgive me the cancellation fee just for this time. I was furious. I should charge them for made me loose my time, and I shoul cancel my membership too . I can’t stand such a disrespect for costumers.

Do not sign up for an account with ME bc your services and money will be held hostage by the location that opened your account.I’m trying to “gift” a service to someone using the service credits I’ve accumulated. Go to my local ME. They tell me I have to call the location at which I opened my account. Call that location. They tel me they cannot do it - because I closed my account, yet still have accumulated/paid for unused service credits and that I have to call back after Christmas to speak to a manager.So this goes back to my point about what I’ve paid for. I cannot freely use my services without a manager from the location I opened my account at - approving/overriding.VERY INCONVENIENT. I have a relationship with a spa a few minutes from my home, organic services and locally owned and operated. Harmony Eco Spa. Not a franchise. Great service. I would highly suggest using a locally owned and operated location.At this point I am giving one star. Here’s why. I moved from Hollywood in 2017. Tried to cancel my account with Massage Envy. Spoke to a male manager who told me I couldn’t do so until the anniversary of my account? I asked that he update my account to reflect this. He agreed to do so. Fast forward several months. I get a friendly reminder call from Massage Envy reminding me that I have HOURS of service available to me. Wait. What? This account was supposed to be cancelled. I call again, speak to another manager who ensured me she would take care of this and refund me the charges - this was June 2019. I receive a call TODAY. They’ve charged my credit card AGAIN. So I now have 17 hours of credits on my account - that’s $59/month x 17. You do the math. I am livid. I am dealing with my Mother’s death and now have to find out that I have been continually charged hundreds of dollars even after I had stated multiple times to cancel the damn account. Excuse me for not having more time to stay on top of this but I have been dealing with an ailing and now deceased parent - priorities. So I’m expectedly upset and am reprimanded by Nadine the clinical manager - for speaking loudly and she continued to over talk me. I hang up and call another ME - staff was fabulous. They look at my account, tell me they see at least the last conversation from June telling them to cancel the account (I wasn’t going to ask them to dig any further), saw all of the credits, saw I was charged today, told me there is a form I needed to complete (ME East Hollywood NEVER told me about this form), told me to call the owner. I call back ME East Hollywood and Anthony the owner has just come in. Spoke to him and ironically he cancelled my account immediately and refunded today’a charge! Why couldn’t this have been done months ago? I had to ask for the form. Had to ask to review all of the notes on my profile (which shouldn’t be many - but all should say cancel the darn account), refund my money. He said he would look into it today and get back to me later today or at the latest by Monday. THIS IS PRECISELY WHY YOU SHOULD NOT GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD TO RETAILERS FOR MONTHLY AUTO PAYMENTS. Do it from YOUR bank and that way you can control it and your money wont be held hostage and you won’t have to deal with this type of situation. It’s unethical. I will update once I hear back from Anthony the owner. In the meantime checking with my lawyer and credit card company. Such a shame bc there’s is a masseuse at ME East Hollywood names Kali that it ONE OF THE BEST EVER.
I have always had the best experience at this location. The office staff is friendly and helpful and every single therapist I’ve had there has been amazing. The owner is there frequently and does not hesitate to make sure you are taken care of. I highly recommend this location, I would give it 10 stars if I could 😊

I appreciate them for being so sweet,, the facial I received from this location was very good I can’t complain at all.. my lady was Tatyana from Russia.. she was such a sweet lady and she gave me the best facial I have gotten in a while.. thank you to the staff at this location, I would be delighted to come back for another service anytime 👌🏽
The few times I went the service was good. I actually enjoyed my massage. Still debating whether I want to join the membership though it sounds tempting.
If you come to this franchise avoid signing a membership: singing an agreement and attempting to make use of your Wellness Benefit may result in greater stress.Massage envy is a failed attempt at a holistic approach to health, and I plan to reach to the corporate office to fully express my discontent.Avoid Massage Envy. If you really need a one time massage this franchise might do, and avoid the Massage Envy service agreement as it is a poorly designed contract (absolutely terrible service agreement).
I have never used this service and decided to try it out while I was out of town on business. I called this location to get information on pricing and the process. After giving me pricing information I asked if I should make an appointment. The person who answered the phone told me no I could just walk in. After driving 30 minutes to get to their location, I walked in only to be told they were booked for the night. Information is everything! For this to be my first experience I am not happy! Who knows when I will have the opportunity to take an hour out of my time as a small business owner and Mom of 5 😢
Not good. Nice massage therapist. Was sweating on me during the massage. And it just wasnt good. What I expect from a chain.

1hr massage was really 30minutes and 5 minutes of telling him how to pass the nclex to be a nurse. Waste of time

Very helpful...I went there in major pain and left knowing what I needed to do to get better. My IT band was knotted up so bad that I could barely walk and now its 80% better.
Took my mom the other day for a B-day massage and foot scrub and she absolutely loved it.
The place is very clean and professional, the services are ok ... nothing very special .... they do charge you for one hour but you get 50 min. Overall is good depends on what person you get

Terrible place!It tells you that the contract or membership is for 6 months and they renew it automatically and do not give prior notice. ! To cancel it is almost impossible, they put thousands of obstacles in the process...! Additionally, I made a transfer for a friend to use a service and without his authorization they were going to charge 200 Dollars!I dont recommend it, its more that they threw the phone at me and I couldnt even cancel!!!!!Bad bad bad placerrrrrrrrerrr lousy service they dont want to cancel me months ago I sent the email they say they dont receive it or anything they DONT want to cancel me lousy services
Bad service and the worst customer service... pure charging and money, they dont solve... bad choice in this entire company
Since I went there to get my nails done they have been super weak and brittle...I dont know what products they use but obviously something to keep you depending on them...you get a manicure and after 10 days they all break...you should go have them do it. gel...or like...dont go to any more and put up with my short, weak nails until they recover.
