Literally blown away by my service! I’ve been to so many massage places Spa World, Gangnam, Massage Heights and small scales and they’re really no comparison to Hiatus! My massage tech Tanisha Adams did EXACTLY what I told her to do and I actually feel the difference. This will be my first time leaving a spa satisfied. I will most definitely be back and eventually join the membership.

My first time here and the quality of service was outstanding. Check-in procedure was smooth and quick.All amenities are provided.The lounge area was very cozy. Hot tea and water were available.I booked a Signature Massage with a hot stone add on and a Body Wrap. Both were fantastic. It was so relaxing I fell asleep during both sessions, so because of that I also decided to sign up for their membership program. I can’t wait to come back!

Went for a relaxing massage for Mothers Day and got THE WORST massage I have experienced in my life. Firstly, upon entering you have one lady attending to the guests and one typing away on the computer as if she and everyone that walked in were invisible. She needs an office space because standing in the front area and not so much as looking up to greet guests as they come in the door is ill-mannered (she was doing the same thing 3 hours later when I left). The doors are not clearly marked so you can easily find yourself walking into the mens locker area. The therapist, Ariana was hands down the WORST masseuse (i use that term lightly) I have ever encountered. Error #1, I requested a male therapist so when she walked into the room, I thought surely she must be doing my facial. For clarification, not only did I request a male therapist in my online profile, I also requested a male therapist in person. I figured perhaps they didnt have one available as it was Mothers Day so I let it go. I shouldnt have! I first requested if she could change the music to a more zen/serene sound like the one in the relaxation room. She advised it was the same music just a different song...it was not. Secondly her hands were thin, bony and COLD. I requested to work out the kinks in my shoulders...between the cold bony fingers, sharp elbows and simply not getting the point, the experience was horrible. I kept reiterating the locations of concern, however they were totally ignored. I specifically requested the hands/wrists and neck shoulder area so why she kept massaging the top of my arms, i cant tell you. I requested that she work my hands as I type a lot, that was a failure also. I paid the additional fee for the scalp massage...that was all of 30 seconds and again, not a pleasurable experience. As someone who gets frequent massages, I can tell you that she didnt even understand the technique in which to correctly massage. I am in more pain today than I was prior to the massage and this isnt one of those day after deep tissue pains, this is someone didnt know what they were doing pains. I am not sure what the qualifications for hire are to be a massage therapist but she didnt even cover the basics. The facial I had from Moe was great , the rest of the experience....BASURA. Additionally, my sister who I went with, had her appointment delayed because they kept getting her services mixed up with someone elses which cause us to have to cancel brunch. The 145 appointment wasnt started until 210. Overall I would not recommend this spa. The calming, welcoming, relaxing day I thought I was going to have was completely ruined.

My individual and couples massage visits here have been amazing. The serene environment with its accompanying calming effect begins right from the front desk. The staff obviously care about ensuring that clients leave the premises rejuvenated and satisfied. I have appreciated that therapists have been attentive to my needs. The facility is clean, well equipped and maintained.

The only way to start your week . Amazing facial and massage. Floated out of the place, because I was so relaxed.

Omg hands down the best massage spa we’ve ever gone to! We aren’t from the Houston area but come to Houston often, we are from Louisiana and husband decided to have a date day in Houston Thursday! We decided to do our very first couples massage since we’ve only done massages separate! It was such an amazing experience! Lorenzo and Courtney are such massage angels! They were super sweet and nice and appreciated the silence during the massages for relaxation! The atmosphere was superb and very mood setting! We were literally treated like royalty! And even tho i felt i didn’t belong there because i am by far bougie, the people and workers made us feel so welcome! They laughed with us and made sure we were comfortable! After the massage we just lounged in the lounge room for a little while until my glass of wine was finished! If i could give 100 star rating i absolutely would! We will def be back and will def be returning to this specific establishment!!! Love love love! I can’t say enough nice things!

I have visited MANY spas all over the world! Hiatus sits at the top. It is a great spa experience, but of course, the main attraction is the services they offer. I had the 90 min massage with Shanika. Hands down, one of the best massages that I have had, EVER! She didnt take her hands off of me, her lotion/oil was warm, she explained everything that she was going to do, and checked on me in the process. Her technique was one that I had never had before and her hands were stronger than she looks. Because of this experience, I purchased the membership and have booked services for my husband and I until June.One note to staff, quiet voices work best in this environment. I heard talking while I was in my massage and in the relaxation room.

I’ve been on the search for a luxury spa in Houston for a while now, and I finally found the right one for me. I had a facial done, and Luz was outstanding. She did such a good job of explaining everything she was doing, and made me feel very welcomed. There was literally no wait time and everyone from start to finish was very professional. I’m considering getting one of their memberships since it’s a bargain for regular self care.

Its such a joy each time I come here. I usually get the signature massage plus hot stones. I am instantly relaxed when I walk in. Lorenzo and Christine are so awesome, professional, and great at their job. The Aveda tea is a plus in the relaxation room. Ive even tried the Vichy shower before COVID which was amazing. Everything here is incredible. Dont forget to go to eat at Dish Society after your appointment, its the start to a perfect weekend.

I’ve been coming to see Luz for facials ever since I moved here in 2021. She does such an amazing and thorough job. I always leave so relaxed and my skin is always glowing! So happy to have found her and this spa!Update: got a signature massage with Maria last night and it was absolutely phenomenal! So happy to be a member of this spa, you save so much and get 5-star service! Love coming here for my monthly self-care services!

If you are looking for the best facial ask for Maria Molina. I’ve been to many spas but never had such a great esthetician as her. I see her once a month and I alway walk out glowing and refreshed. She knows exactly what my skin needs each time. I’ve added getting a facial from her every month to my beauty routine with the monthly membership they offer. So grateful to have found this place and Maria!

Amazing staff, I had a hydro facial with mr.Grace which she was very knowledgeable and amazing. The front desk staff Haley was supper sweet and helpful. Definitely recommend this spa 🙏🏻

Incredible service. Joshua was my massage therapist this time and it was so clear he had so much experience and knew what he was doing! Definitely coming back to this place!

Had a mom/daughter day at Hiatus. I had Talat and my daughter had Luz for our facials. It could not have been better. We did this last year as well and had them both. It was everything we hoped and more.

My favorite place to go every month. Excellent massages, ask for Lorenzo. And top tier facials with Maria and Luz. The spa and amenities are very clean, relaxing lounge area with refreshments, and very good customer service. Overall elevated experience compared to your typical spa.

Update: They are now a medspa! Lynn did a wonderful job on my botox today! Ive been getting botox since 2020 and Im very particular about placement. Lynn really knew what she was doing and was quick to answer my questions.Ive been a member since 2017! The quality of care, covid safety protocols and personalised service are impeccable! If youre looking for a place to get a monthly message, do some self-care and build a relationship with staff, this is a wonderful option.

1/21/24 - Great visit! All 3 of my providers were well trained and delivered amazing services. Updated from 2* to 3* when evaluating overall experience with all visits (managements lack of follow up/returning my phone call when I tried to follow up from my 2023 visit and left a message from their note/call mentioned below from visit 1/16/23 still doesnt sit well!!).------------------------------------I visited the spa on 1/16/23. My Body Glow service went horribly - I left the spa VERY flustered and upset. I requested the spa manager call me; over 2 months later, Ive received no contact. The small concession offered on the service did nothing to make up for the *extremely* poor experience I had. I still would be unhappy, had the charge been reversed - but at least I wouldnt feel like I completely wasted my money. See below for details on the Body Glow performed by Kimberly Vasquez. The only reason Id possibly recommend the spa is because every other service I have had has been great - completely the opposite of my most recent Body Glow experience.Regarding my recent Body Glow:- Service felt rushed- Did not apply scrub to most of tops of legs, or most of insides of legs, top to bottom (can frog leg out to maintain patient privacy while also accessing full area) - just applied to a very small section of the lower outer thigh- Scrub was very fast and applied with a very heavy hand - it was on the verge of being uncomfortable, was barely tolerable to me - people with sensitive skin, or older people, would likely not tolerate well (for reference, I prefer heavy pressure during massage - I routinely have sports injury and deep tissue type massages)- Rinsing scrub off on the front of body was very rushed and only done with hand held shower head, rather than the full body Vichy shower wand, leaving me chilly and uncomfortable- When provider had me turn face down, bolster was not adjusted from knee position to ankle position, leaving my legs in an awkward position; also, when she had me turn back right side up for the warm oil portion, and place the back of my head in the cradle, the bolster remained in the same position - leaving my legs flailing in the air, with pressure on the knees due to the location of the bolster under the calves- When provider applied salt scrub on the back, towel was placed clear up around my waist and no salt scrub was applied- Hot oil was literally squirted on me very generously, then swooshed around quickly with one hand- Oil was left all over the bottom of my feet - which made my first step into my slippers both unsafe and uncomfortable. This led me to clean off both my feet and the then-oily slippers, so that I could safely make my way from the room- The service was overall sloppy - towels were not nicely placed, which was uncomfortable under my shoulder/arm at one point, and I had to adjust it myself- Provider concluded, stating my skin was glowing - this was nearly a slap in the face, with approximately 30% of my body having remained untouched- Provider asked if I wanted any water or tea at the end, I asked for water. She brought a blanket and no water.- Seems like provider is not knowledgable about the service, and that she is simply there for a paycheck - not because it is a passion, or she cares about her clients, or their experience- I sought out Hiatus Spa specifically because it has a Vichy shower, when I first started going to the spa a few years ago to celebrate my birthday. My visits to Hiatus are a luxury treat, not a commonplace occurrence. Ive had this same service is the past, and, while it was unavailable for awhile due to COVID, the experience I had today was nothing like I had previously.

Its great for the money. Services are great but front desk / scheduling / logistics leaves room for improvement. Also near impossible to schedule a spa day with 3 girlfriends - not enough staff to deliver 3 facials at once. Having said that, I am a member and will continue to go. There are better spas with better amenities in Houston, but this one is affordable.

Ive been meaning to write a review but finally here it is. That just say I didnt even make it to the massage table because I DID NOT! When I was setting up my appointment the receptionist was super rude as soon as she found out I had a gift card given to me for my birthday. Not sure why it matters, if am paying either one way or the other. Despite that I got the appointment scheduled. On the day of the appointment I had a emergency occur that I was not able to make it to my appointment. I called the next day to let them know and tried to reschedule. I was told that I basically lost the gift card since they charge the FULL amount of the service you were suppose to get and that they will get with the manager to try to see what they can do, which I NEVER got a called back from them. FULL amount? That practically like stealing!!! I know some businesses charge for a no show fee/ late fee which that is fine typically that is like 20-50$ but this is a full on $120-200 dollars they are charging. I basically did not even get to enjoy a much needed massage that was gifted to me. The little that I had left on my gift card will not be used because I resist going to a place that STEALS from their customers.

It was my first time at this establishment and I loved it! I went in for a massage today and my masseuse Shanika was outstanding, her hands are truly a gift. I would highly recommend if you are looking to relax and relieve tension to go to her. It was a completely serine experience from the moment I got there to the moment I left.

The epic manicure I had today was unraveled. 75-90 minutes of pure bliss. Including headphones, anti- grab it chair, warm eye pads to relax and block out the world. A+

I went for the first time last week for a facial and it was wonderful! Going back today for a massage 😁. Its tranquil and very clean. Highly recommend.

Very affordable spa with awesome services! Grace does the best facials EVER, shes the only one Ill let touch my face. You havent lived until youve had a mani-pedi here. Its an experience unlike any other! I docked one star because the facilities maintenance needs improvement. One shower has been out of order the entire year plus Ive been a patron, and there are some worn finishes and built up grime in the bathroom and dressing room areas.

Just had THE BEST experience today! Its such a relaxing and nice atmosphere. Everyone is SUPER FRIENDLY!! Victoria was incredible!! She did an AMAZING job on my hands and feet!! You have to visit Hiatus Spa! You wont be disappointed!!

A trip here was a birthday gift. I was skeptical as I had my own places. Well, this has become a go-to for me. Love the facials and massages! Price is good too.

Being a successful business owner and in management for several years now, I know that providing quality customer service is everything. I also know that there are days when people are simply not at their best. I’ve been a member at this spa for a year now and its good to know and share with others that the management at this location do care about customer concerns, are open to feedback for improvement, and are willing to make things right by providing fair service recovery. I was on the fence about extending my membership here for another year, but after my interaction today with Jazmin, I am happy to continue patronizing a quality business that values me as a customer.

This place never disappoints. I love the cleanliness, the professional and friendly staff. Everything was great. I brought my 14 year old daughter here to receive her first teen facial. We received the Tailor made facial. My facial was amazing and relaxing. My daughter enjoyed hers also, the only hiccup was when we left the spa, in natural daylight I could see facial product still on her chin and temple. Her face was not properly cleaned off. I wasnt upset and she really enjoyed her facial so overall we were pleased. I do not know her esthetically name bit it would be great to remind them to male sure they remove all product off the skin. I would definitely recommend this spa to everyone looking for a full spa experience at an affordable price.

I love Hiatus, and I always like to take my mom here on special occasions. So far weve had great experiences. I just booked two appointments for next month and Catherine from the front desk was so helpful and patient. Thank you Catherine for great customer service! I had a reservation set for 3, myself and my two daughters for mothers day weekend. My oldest daughter went first and was very pleased and extremely relaxed when she was done. However my massage was at 3pm and by 3:20pm someone came to let me know that the person that was supposed to be taking care of me and my younger daughter was unable to be reached. I am not holding anything against them. People are so unreliable these days. Anyway the gentleman who took care of me was amazing!!!!. I would highly recommend and would absolutely be back. I will not let the actions of one bad employee spoil my experience or ruined the reputation of the establishment. My youngest daughter had her first massage ever and enjoyed her time. She was super nervous at first, but ended up feeling so relaxed that she almost fell asleep multiple times. If I could give 10 stars, I wpuld

On Thursday March 30th I went to this place and got a facial and a massage which, the service was great, however, I left behind a necklace very sentimental to me. I called the next day Friday morning and the receptionist checked and found it in the room and I responded I would go in on Saturday to pick it up. I wasnt able to go in on Saturday so I went in on Sunday. When I walked in they all of sudden dont have the necklace anymore and claimed that they dont have it. No management has reached out to me with a follow up nor have they offered any solutions to me.

I booked a “retreat” as a treat for myself. Was told it included a massage but it didn’t. When I got there the front desk ushered me to the back without orienting me to the dressing room etc. Super pricey for what it was. My massage therapist Shanika was really great and definitely had expertise. I wouldn’t return though because of the lack of help from the front desk/hospitality. I’m sure a massage here would be great though.

I visited Hiatus for my first massage experience ever. I wasnt sure if I would feel comfortable enough to actually relax and enjoy my time - but I was absolutely surprised. I told my massage therapist, Vanessa, that it was my first experience and I wasnt sure to expect. She was so comforting and made sure to explain the process. She made me feel welcomed and that made all the difference. Fully relaxed and enjoyed every aspect.The spa was beautiful, kept clean and calming. They guided me through the spa to make sure I knew where everything was. Great experience and I highly recommend the spa and Vanessa!

This place is EVERYTHING!! Had a great experience. I was allowed to change into a comfy robe and relax In their relaxation area. Lorenzo’s massage was so good. I felt relaxed and and all my knots got handled. Then when checking out the front desk staff was so sweet and took care of me in a jiffy. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spa for anyone who is looking to take a break away and get some good relaxation time. 😊

Just became a member at Hiatus last month and it’s the best membership you can get. I have gotten two facials that have done wonders for my skin. The spa is beautiful, clean and so relaxing. Staff is also very kind.

One name: SHAROBIN. Girl has healing hands! The spa itself is nice and quaint. Nothing too extra. You don’t really come here for a “spa” experience. It’s limited, but enough. I specifically come here for Sharobin, lol. But, they do have great prices as well. Great value!

Very disappointing with the customer service! Upon my arrival the greeting was good. My therapist Edward was good too. He applied the right amount of pressure and constantly checked on me. After service, he walked me to the relaxation room to wait for my friend. I made appointments for us to celebrate her birthday. While there I inquiry about purchasing some wine. However, to learn that they had complimentary wine. I got both of us glasses to sit, wait till friend was finished with her 90 min massage & unwine. We had 2 drinks then I asked for another one & was told there were only 2/guest for our safety on the road. We sat for 30 mins more. Then the staff, Jasmine just stared at us from time she denied us another drink, paid and left the facility. We were asked if we wanted to leave a tip. We left $25 but it seem like it was a big push to move us along and get a tip. Then shortly afterward Jasmine was leaving for the day but question the message therapist about our comments in the parking lot. We were really taking back by her looking at us & demeanor completly!

Shanika always does my massages and her hands are a gift from the Gods! Fast and east check-in and check-out. The environment is great, and everything is always remarkably clean. Ill never go to another spa again.

Maria is the best! I feel so great after my facials every time. She is consistent and keeps me coming back. Everyone is always so nice and considerate as well.

Absolutely phenomenal service. Great staff. Relaxing atmosphere. Great massage.Today I had a massage and it was literally the best massage Ive ever had. In fact, it was the first real massage I feel Ive had in my life, despite other pretty good massages.This is now my go-to place for massage therapy. This place made my day, from the time I walked in, to waiting in a relaxing waiting area, to the massage, to the east checkout process and exiting. Every moment was amazing and made my day.

I am only deducting one star because the receptionist was prickly and not very helpful, she just told us to head on back when we’d never been the facility before, and she rushed telling me where everything was in the women’s lounge (luckily another guest was in there so she helped me since she saw how rushed the receptionist was being). Anyways, Maria was AMAZING!!!!! I wish I was local to the area, because I would see her all the time if I could. She is so knowledgeable and professional, along with being an absolute sweetheart. Because of her, I’m going to try the hiatus in San Antonio where I live.

Wonderful experience from start to finish! The inviting, calming, relaxing atmosphere was just what I needed after a long work week. To say my therapist, Cathryn was amazing would be an understatement. I literally feel like I was there for four hours when only it was an hour massage. Cathryn did some sort of Houdini time warp!! I just booked an appointment for my best friend and I to get massages facials and manicures. Im counting down the days to my next visit. I highly suggest Cathryn but also my friend she sees Anthony and Valerie. I dont think you can go wrong here.

My experience here was amazing! I booked the Signature massage with Vanessa, she was so sweet and listened to all of my concerns; best massage I’ve ever had. The front desk were also super sweet and helpful. 10/10 definitely recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

It was my first time there and I loved it. Everyone was nice and made me feel welcomed. I got a facial by Kimmy. She was the bomb and I will return for another one.

I have been a member at hiatus for a few months. Every time I come in they ask if I’m new. The service is fine and prices are good. I enjoyed going until pregnancy when I was treated badly by one of their front desk staff. I’m newly pregnant and am unable to do most of their services based on their protocols which I was not informed of when booking. While I was processing the rude treatment and shopping to spend my credit money, someone walked in and they told her she could have my appointment while I was in the lobby. Which was somewhat embarrassing and made me feel ashamed. I will be cancelling my membership and consider rejoining post pregnancy.

Every one of my last three visits has been spectacular. From the front desk to the incredible nail technician services. One of the best spa retreats in Houston.

I love this spa. I feel so relaxed every time that I am here. The spa is very clean unlike the other chained spa. Overall experience is excellent in affordable price. Cheryl is the best massage therapist and this is from a massage therapist myself. The way she gives you a massage is very unique and relaxing without feeling hurt at all. I highly recommend her to everyone but you need to book an appointment with her as she has very busy schedule ‘cuz everyone loves her.

Depends on who you have. The place is great, clean, and a nice relaxing vibe. I had a pedicure and felt like the person didn’t do a great job with cleaning around the nails - she just trimmed. Had some great massages and my facials were lovely.

My epic pedicure with Nadia was AMAZING!! I had never been to a spa before and it had been a bit since I last treated myself to a pedicure. She not only made sure I was comfortable, but also did an amazing job with the service. I would not only recommend the service, but also the experience at hiatus in general. Be sure to ask for the tea at check out, its delicious!

Esthetician Luz was wonderful. She was very good at listening to my needs, recommending products for aftercare, and giving me a 5 star service from beginning the end. Luz is the reason why I became a member. I can’t wait for my mom to treat herself with her, too. Removing one star from my review due to the unfriendly front desk staff — they do not align with the welcoming ambiance of Hiatus!

The massage itself, I’d give 5 stars. Shanika made my first massage experience an AMAZING one. However, the customer service is horrible. My boyfriend booked me a massage for Mother’s Day & the run around & hurdles he had to go through was insane! I was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma (which my oncologist gave Hiatus the okay to do the massage), & as a result they were going to cancel my appointment (although the website doesn’t say anything about people w/ cancer not being able to receive a massage). I was told by my boyfriend that “Jazmyn” stated that the massage therapists were not oncology certified (which is completely understandable) & that a massage therapist caught cancer from giving a cancer patient a massage). Upon confronting Jazmyn about this uneducated statement that she made, she denied the fact that she told my boyfriend this. I explained to her that I understand taking precautions as if something were to happen, they’d be liable. But to LIE & say something like this as if cancer is contagious is insane to say the least. We were lied to twice by Jazmyn & as a business owner, this is unacceptable.

This was an amazing spa. It was the full white robe spa experience and was a true treat. I had Pogge as my massage therapist and she took great care from my finger tips to my toes. The aroma therapy offered with the massage was absolutely amazing, and it was a very reasonable price as well. I will definitely be back to get a facial sometime in the near future.

This was my second visit and I must say, it never ceased to impress me! This place was recommended by a colleague and have been raving about this place so I tried it and I couldn’t be happier! I’ve had Michelle both times and she’s truly amazing! I’ve tried so many places and even expensive ones, but never really go back to those places as I didn’t really feel the kind of energy that I felt when I first walked into Hiatus. I felt relaxed and comfortable when I came here and I’m not exactly sure why! But, it just does. Every one I have encountered at this place so far, have been really nice and helpful. Besides that they just need to keep an eye out for their items to be stocked, this place is very clean and I really love coming here. I just wish some people that come here are a little more aware of their voices as it is a place to “relax” and “unwind” a little. Their membership is also very “customer-friendly” meaning, they are very flexible unlike other spa places. You’re not tied-up with a contract or anything. It is transferrable to your friends or family as well! I’ll definitely keep coming here and will surely recommend this place to my friends.

Carla. One word, all you need. I almost didnt want to write this review because I want her ALL to myself, but she deserves a shower of praise!! My skin loves Carla (and the rest of me too!). She is very discerning with my skin, and has just that touch. She gets it. The whole service just... flows. She addresses my concerns and suggests different masks for my facial based on how my skin is looking and feeling that month. In addition to her skin magic powers she has the most wonderful aura and is a such a positive light in the world. I soak it all up when I see her. I feel refreshed, positive, and ready to be a better version of myself after my monthly facial. The whole experience is such a treat. Life changing, skin changing, the whole sha-bang.

IF you are looking to relax, feel comfortable and pampered, this is the place for you! I received a gift from my boyfriend to try Hiatus Spa. I LOVED IT!!! My therapist, Dan was beyond amazing! His pressure was spot on. Dan truly has an art and knowledge of the muscles in your body, something that I have never quite experienced before. I am pleased to say that I was very satisfied with Hiatus Spa ambiance, professionalism and energy. I will be back and will recommend to anyone who is looking to be pampered in Houston.

Facial was good, relaxing and the technician Sarah was very kind and helpful. The front ladies however, their service was not that great. My friend and I made an appointment and after driving nearly an hour, she was told that her appointment was cancelled. I was then told that if I wanted to reschedule, I would have to pay $50. They were unable to give us a name of the employee who cancelled my friends appointment and basically stated there was nothing they could do for us. My friend ended up rescheduling for an hour later since we spent a long time driving to get there. By the time I was changed and ready to go, I only was able to utilize 30 mins out of my 60 mins facial. Not worth the trouble to go here again. And definitely not worth the unhelpful attitudes from the employees up front.

I was in Houston for a company event. One of the excursions offered was a massage at Hiatus. I could not have been more impressed. The experience was outstanding. I have been to a number of spas over the years. Hiatus takes everything up a notch. From the well trained staff to the heated massage oil to the hot towels to the foot bath and beyond. Travina provided an excellent massage .Casey at the front desk went out of his way to accommodate our large group of type A personalities! We are not an easy group to wrangle, but did it with patience and grace.A total customer experience!

I must say, this place is top notch! It is very inviting and relaxing. My massage therapist Ariana was AMAZING!!!!!!!! She truly is a master of her craft and I must say that being new to Houston, I have found my person!! Sorry girl, you won’t be able to get rid of me now! Hiatus and Ariana are the best!

I have been coming to a hiatus spa for a few months now and I’m so happy I joined their membership! Tonight I had Vanessa as my massage therapist and will be requesting her for now on. I always have a hard time relaxing and actually fell asleep, I was so relaxed!

Consistently excellent service. I love their facials, mani/pedis and Botox. Lynn makes you look refreshed but not overly done!

Hiatus SPA is a very pleasant facility if you are searching for some time to relax and have a good massage. The rooms and staff are very nice and gives a positive energy. Cheryl was my therapist on my service and really appreciated her work. Very professional and has good techniques that she earned with her 15 years of experience. Definitely recommend her and the Hiatus SPA.

If you go here DEFINITELY ask for Ariana for your massage. She is so sweet, very attentive, and AMAZING at what she does. I have had a fair number of massages and she is literally the best massage therapist I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

I got a Groupon for my husband. He stated, decor and ombience was beautiful, his therapist was absolutely fantastic. I wish I knew his name. He say a big guy that was bigger than him...lol. I will try them for myself next soon. Overall my Mr was very happy with the people and surroundings.

Plan extra time for parking as this place is inside the court of an apartment complex with other businesses onsite. The spa has an online client profile form which was completed but didnt save for one guest in our party, so we waited for the receptionist to try to find it via her system. The paper form and locker area issue with code caused a delay start time to our massages. The locker area is very small, but it works ok; more than 3 people in the locker area and its too crowded. The individuals that gave massage and facial treatments were professional and good in their respective positions. I would visit this location again because of the experience I received from the masseuse and ethnitician.

Great body treatments and massages, however the nail service was not that good. The nail polish was applied poorly, and the whole session was a mess. The lady was sweet, however it had nothing to do with quality of service, which by the way was very expensive! ($69+tip) Our reservations were a little bit messed up as well, for ex. the nail service was scheduled right before the body treatment ( which is not acceptable if you would like to keep your pedicure without messing up your toes) The administrative organization was not the best. For ex., due to being misinformed, I decided to cancel some service. I did not want my guest to wait for me, however then I was immediately told that I would pay some cancellation fees. I think it is just not right, particularly when this mistake was made by one of the team members. It seems to me that this place is more interested in getting paid rather than acting in the best interest of their clients. The entire time I felt more tensed than relaxed.

Very average gel manicure, I’ve been to better places. The person doing my manicure was very cold, didn’t smile and her mask covered her mouth but not her nose. She was not friendly at all. The place is way over priced. 60$ for gel manicure is ridiculous and the worse part is it is not even worth it!! Would not recommend this place.

Maria Molina did my facial and it was hands down the best facial I’ve ever had. She was super attentive, would highly recommend booking with her!

I dont complain, but if Im spending 440 dollars on a service, I simply expect what I paid for. I was forced to pay for an hour massage when only recieved about 20 mins, and I was forced to pay 220 dollars for 2 basic manicures and pedicures. When I asked for a discount I was met with a big negative from a highly rude and condescending manager. I wish I could give them negative stars. Not only will I never go back I want to warn everyone of how horrible they are! Find ANYWHERE else!

Hiatus Spa offers the most amazing, luxurious experience with experienced, incredibly cordial, and helpful staff. The atmosphere is always great and everyone makes sure that you have the best, most relaxing time you could have there. Carla at the reception is always very sweet and helpful and her smile when I enter always lifts my mood! Melanie Scholl provided me with an excellent facial and her expertise and knowledge helped me understand what my skin needs and ultimately helped me better care for it. Eboni always makes my visits very special - her passion and proficiency always yields outstanding results after my facials and body treatments! Valerie Hoopes is an amazing massage therapist who is always incredibly respectful, listens to my needs and addresses them- after the massage sessions with her I am always truly relaxed! The massage with her is always a highlight of my week! Dafne is my also one of my best massage therapists- she always provides with with and excellent, relaxing massage/cranio-sacral therapy after which I feel regenerated! Mrs. Takisha Jackson always provides me with the most amazing mani-pedi sessions! She is very professional and my nails always look outstanding after my session with her! I always have a great experience at the Hiatus! I brought my husband, my mom and friends here and they all loved it too! I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an impeccable, luxurious service which is great for the body and soul! LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

I bought a Groupon for a massage here but then was told you could only use one Groupon after trying to use the second one. The Groupon fine print states, “Limit 3 per person”. Spoke to a manager on the phone who was very rude and just kept telling me it’s their policy. She couldn’t even tell me where this policy is stated and nothing they could do. Maybe add that “policy” to the fine print. Very misleading and such terrible customer service.

Booked a mani/pedi and a massage for my girlfriends birthday. It was her first time at a spa and she loved every minute of the experience . They were professional, fast, and extremely courteous. My gf loved her nail tech Amy, and Adrian was extremely helpful with the booking. We’re already planing our next visit .. highly recommend !

Im so glad I found this place via Groupon! I purchased a Kindred Spirits couples massage for my boyfriend and I to de-stress after the holidays. And the entire experience was amazing!After completing our profiles and outlining our massage preferences we were led to the changing rooms to change into their robes and slippers. The changing rooms are beautiful and complete with secure lockers, clean showers, and all the products youll need to refresh yourself after your massage. Tea and fruit infused ice water are available while you wait for your therapist to prepare the room for your services.We were greeted by our massage therapists and led to our room which was dimmed for relaxation and smelled lovely. We opted for the foot soak to begin and were offered 3 scents to choose from. I liked how they explained what scent we chose and which chakra it was linked to. The massage.....oh my god.....the massage was amazing. My therapist Tytiana had magic hands!! I left feeling extremely relaxed and rejuvenated.While checking out I even purchased some of the calming oil with the $20 credit I had with the Groupon so I could try to hold on to the zen as long as I could. But I have a feeling I will have to make this a regular thing because it was that wonderful.

The facial was 5 stars & the pedi was 2 stars. I would give it an overall 3.5 stars. The facial was AMAZING. Very relaxing. THE BEST facial I’ve ever had. The pedi honestly was the WORST pedi I’ve ever had! You can go to ANY of the Asian nail shops and get a waaaaaayyy better pedi for much cheaper. The environment of the building itself was very nice and all of the employees were nice and friendly!

Can I just say wow!! My brother and sister-in-law had given me a $250 gift card for this spa. While both the massage and the facial were very good, they wete quite over priced. All I could get with that money was a massage and a facial.

Eboni ensured I had an amazing spa experience and an escape from real life! I walked in and was greeted with a warm cup of delicious tea and was led to the changing area to get into my robe and slippers and waited about 5 minutes in the relaxation room for my aesthetician. Then I got a nice foot wash and scrub and laid in the warm bed to get ready for my facial. I opted to use all Aveda products and enjoyed the aromatherapy. My facial left my skin glowing and I felt like a brand new woman! Yall go book an appointment with her you wont regret taking some time to yourself and escaping from real life for a bit!

I have had quite a few facials over the years at various locations and they’re always nice but I never think they leave a lasting difference in my skin. However, two weeks ago I had a facial with Sarah at Hiatus and my skin STILL looks glowing and fresh. I highly recommend Sarah and Hiatus!

I really wish I could give this place a better review. For starters my fiance booked this appointment as surprise for my birthday. I receive a message a day before the appointment to confirm it. SURPRISE ruined! He called to make a complaint, but no manager was on duty and he never got a call back. When I get there, I fill out the card for what I want done on my massage & anything extra so I checked for some extra stuff. Which I did not receive, so instead they added it to my mani & pedi. The massage person & mani pedi lady were GREAT. BUT they very next day, my polish was coming right off my nails and bubbling up. Mind you I dont wash dishes all day or clean so there was no excuse. It was 69 + tip......

I had the best experience at Hiatus Spa in Houston. I recently moved to Houston and wanted to find a nice spa I could go to and I definitely did. I had the one and only mani and pedi with Nadia and it was amazing. After moving all week I needed relaxation. I will definitely be back!

My husband and I were gifted a couples massage at Hiatus Spa by our daughter.We are frequent users of massage services. However, we usually go to Mokra Spa.We arrived early and filled out the required medical history. There was also a card to list our preferences in the strength of our massage and places we would like them not to massage. I checked Light massage and asked not to have my face or hair touched. I also wrote that I would like extra attention paid to my feet as I have arthritis. Well, it’s obvious they do not read the card or listen to the client when I verbally repeated the requests on the card. NEVER PUT LIGHT AD YOUR MASSAGE STRENGTH!! I got an hour of light tickeling. And two minutes spent tickeling my feet. No massage what so ever! My spouse put medium strength and his therapist hurt him. He voiced his pain and it was like she didn’t care. He listed not to have his hair touched and she massaged oil all over it during a head massage. We will not return and will recommend our friends go to Mokra.This place needs better massage therapists. Ours were Sarah and Jennifer. They need to learn to read the client cards and LISTEN to them when they verbally tell you their preferences. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE !On a positive note, the spa was nicely decorated.

Unfortunately this review is not a great one compared to the rest. I had heard great things about this place and the reviews on here proved it. I was certainty not expecting what happened to me. I bought a couples massage package from Groupon and made my appointment days prior to the actual day of the service. I was told to show up at least 30 min prior to the massage to be able to relax. The day of the service was our 1 year anniversary for my husband and I. This was a surprise for him. But the surprise in the end was for me. I was contacted 30 min prior to the scheduled time to inform me that our massage was being cancelled due to of the masseuses calling in that morning. I was offered to reschedule the appointment or have a mani pedi instead of the massage. I was very upset because our day had been partially ruined. I asked to speak to a manager and was told there was no manager on staff at the moment but I would soon get a call back. I never received a call back, I had to contact the facility 3 times that day and was told someone would get back to me the next day. I contacted Groupon and they refunded my money. The owner of the spa contacted me a day later and all she said was sorry, they are a new facility and therefore did not have on call staff for when someone called in. Very disappointed in this place, the customer service failed and when confronted all they had to give was a weak excuse for their faulty service. I truly hope no one else has to go through this and specially on a special day like we did.

Had a fabulous couples massage here yesterday. A full 60 minutes of heaven each, my husband upgraded to a head massage aswell and I tried the hot stones. Wow !! Great facilities, changing rooms with lockers to store your valuables. Showers included robes, slippers and towels. Shampoo, conditioner and bodywash free to used aswell as other hair & body products. Chill out room for before and after your appointment. I got a Groupon voucher which included a $20 credit on a product so I purchased some bath saltsMonthly membership is available at $69 per month.Free parking in the parking lot.We will definitely be going back. 💖

Are you paying a membership at a strip mall massage place? No judgement, but for the same price you can be treated way better! Tucked in a little apartment/shopping complex on San Felipe, this is truly a hidden gem (well it was for me!). After check in you are taken to the locker room where you change into a robe and slippers then to the tranquility room where you can have tea and infused water while you wait. The therapists there are all amazing! Pro tip: get the Groupon and after using it they will waive the membership ship admin fee if you join!

I had the Spa Mani - Pedi and it was magical. Takisha was superb. I dont remember her actually painting my nails or toe nails but they sure looked pretty when she was done. She was so gentle and mindful of the quiet could not ask for a better experience on my birthday!! Thank you Hiatus and Takisha.

My wife and I absolutely had a great relaxing massage from Shanda. Shes one of the best. Also enjoyed the atmosphere and having a retreat where I could read and drink tea amidst the bustle of the city.

I try to avoid this, but I have to make a negative post about a business. I can no longer recommend Hiatus Spa Houston or any of their branches. This business reached out to members asking us to continue monthly support for them through COVID - which I did - and is now punishing us for the privilege.When COVID hit, Hiatus advised our member credits would not expire during the pandemic. They offered to suspend accounts but asked members to continue if possible to support the staff. I did because supporting each other is what we do in a pandemic.*With no notice* they changed their policy at the beginning of the year and expired all credits! I only found out when I logged into to check something. They have a normal process to reinstate these (Ive used it before) but it is truly devious to expire everything without any warning,Secondly, despite it being the worst pandemic spike yet in Houston, they wont allow us to use credits to purchase gifts cards for future service. Im not vaccinated and avoiding risk for reasons. I wanted to buy gift cards for others to use when the pandemic has calmed down or who are lower risk (e.g., vaccinated). This is giving them potential new customers - its purely to their benefit, and zero benefit to me (cash out my door).An extensive call provided no good resolution. They refused to budge, politely of course. They will only allow credits to be used for services or products. Even buying a specific service for someone has a day pass cost - which they also refuse to take out of credit (seriously!). You cant even order the products online with your credits. You have to call to order, and come pick them up in person - because additional contact in the worst pandemic spike yet is a good thing. The only offer was to waive the reinstatement fee.I supported Hiatus and their staff. They choose to deviously change policies and hold my funds hostage. Like they say, no good deed goes unpunished. Needless to say, after I cash out my credits on my products I wont be doing any business with them again.

I had my Mani and pedí done by Amy and it was amazing. I really cant have my feet touched but Amy made my experience great and was able to have my feet done without an issue. I would recommend Amy Ozuna for your service. Great place!!!!

I purchased a Groupon for their couples massage service and I’ve called numerous times and left messages and no one has called me back. I am constantly calling in hopes of getting someone on the phone but still no luck. I plan on stopping by this week to find out why their customer service is so bad and get a refund.

Came here through class pass. The staff was nice and friendly. Really no wait time. Had a waiting room with tea and water while you wait for your service. Definitely would come back to try out more of their amenities.

I bought a 60 minute massage and they made me do 10 min of paperwork and wait another 5-10 minutes for the therapist which in turn meant that my massage was cut short over 20 minutes. Ridiculous. Would never go back

This place is horrible I scheduled a double message and the rep was rude and was not interested in helping me. But i called the next day someone answered and it was great. Maybe the rep was having a bad day I’m glad I called them again. Amazing I had another issue with another rep. The rep was rude an argued with me about sending me the notice. ITs sad some times you get good service at the front desk and times you dont. I will find another place dont argue with anymore reps anymore. its like noone cares. The service is ok but the front desk staff is very rude and horrible. you can find a better place like i did

It seems to be a common practice from this place to advertise on groupon and then cancel, giving the same excuse to different costumers, just read the reviews!!! If they dont want to honor the grupon dont advertise on it!!!! 11 months ago someone was giving the same excuse we were given. Someone called in and we dont have anyone to fill in.
