What a waste of money & time. Pay to park, pay to enter; watered down drinks & worst if all! The music! The music is horrible; 80s&90s; the “DJ” is horrendous at spinning & mixing; other friendly words, este lugar vale verga! & I mean that a bad way, Wei!

Very bad service, very bad place to go out and have fun. I was at the bar ordering drinks with a bartender and he gave me my drinks and when it came time to pay he asked for my card and ID which I thought was ok to verify I am the cardholder but then he kept both my card and ID and said the minimum to pay with card was $20 and rather than asking me if I wanted to order more drinks or not he kept it and said I would get it back once I reached the $20 minimum. Later on in the night when I went back to the bar to order more drinks I went to a different bartender as the first one was busy tendering other customers and I ordered drinks with this bartender and he gave them to me and then just had a blank stare on his face looking right at me and was expecting my card and ID and I told him I had given it to a previous bartender and then he took the drink he had given me back and mentioned I needed to order with the same bartender as earlier and would not serve me. So then I proceeded to wait until the other bartender was available again which took an eternity. Nevertheless I will mention I will not come back to this establishment as they lack in customer service and quality.

Im surprised this nightclub is still there, and I never knew that it later became a LGBT venue. Back in the 1990s it was a regular nightclub with rooms that played different music like dance/techno in the back room and Tejano/Country in the front room. Lots of good times dancing the night away with the pretty ladies there. I remember the bartender Floyd who was a pretty cool guy and he knew how to make really good mixed drinks. I remember one night when I started a tab and realized I left my wallet at home when I went back to the bar to close the tab. Floyd just told me to pay him the next time, which I did the following weekend with a good tip since I greatly appreciated him being understanding and not letting me ruin my night. Too bad there arent enough bartenders like him.

As I was walking to the club I got ambushed by a parking attendant asking me where I parked I ignored the question and kept walking when he got in my face and asked me again super aggressive I told him thats none of his business where I parked and I kept walking towards the club where he continues to follow me harassing me with the same question where did I park I told him again thats none of your business he then said hes the parking attendant it is his business and got in my face I told him to walk away and go park a car or something and I entered the club 20 minutes later a cop comes at me inside and asked me to step outside I go outside to find out the parking attendant called the cops to ask me where I parked I told the cop the same thing I told the attendant thats none of your business where I parked or how I got here I committed no crime so again its none of your business or the parking attendants business thats like me asking him where he lives the cop agreed and let me return to doing me. Very bad experience first time there the crowd is ok but I got 3 drinks spilled on me on the dance floor but all in all its a ok place but definitely not my go to for the future place needs an upgrade very old fashioned set up.

In general the club itself is not that bad, but the music needs to be up to date it seems to be more of what the Rebelde wanna be DJ likes and plays, also the entrance has been increased to $15 and the bars only take cash and cards NO PHONE PAY, also parking is $20 or just park on the building on the right side of Colorado.

I think place needs new modern music and good prices that Will attract the community. I remember those good Energy nights and TOYZ when it was so hard to find parking because of how full the club was. Dancing music Please. And good Bartenders that know how to make drinks.

My first time to visit overall Im definitely interested in coming back, Wednesday night had strippers I was amazed of how friendly and welcoming they were. Drinks were 7$ and the atmosphere was very young and diverse with the variety of songs. Looking forward for the sequel !!

On 08/21/22 I went to this club and got a notification from my bank that my card was locked due to suspicious activity. Seems the bartender tried to run my card three times . Twice for 45.00 and once for 27.00. I called the club number located on the receipt and the voicemail is another number . Thank God I have a limit for clubs on my credit card otherwise they would of stolen a lot of money from me. I Left several voicemails and haven’t received call yet. I would never use my bank cards at this club again they are scammers !

What can I say! I love it hear! The place and music are awsome! All my friends come hear! And every time I bring someone new! To this Latin environment they LOVE IT! Only one bad thing is that they change management too often! Or idk what’s going on! They don’t do the decorations events or promote foam party’s or events that were fun! Know it’s like being in ESCAPED 2001 literally! But the DJ always saves the night! ;) over all I love it here!

Had the best time while visiting Houston. The dj played great music all night long and the staff was friendly and fast service! can’t wait to return

To many bad reviews for me to even think about going to this place. We go to Galveston beach...or Montrose for gay bars. This place charges for parking and has a cover charge? Hell no. Thats why hamburger Marys didnt make it in Montrose...this is Also why Ive never heard about this bar...lol because it is trashed...

Visited iesterday (Friday) empty... 6 peoples in total. Is too old they need some fresh renovation.

The location is ok, but the DJ sucks!!! MUSIC SUCKS!!! seems like this is a retro disco place. They played old 90s songs almost all night long!!! They need to get another DJ who can actually mix up to date music. Ive been there 3 times now and its been the same bad experience. Not coming back again!!!

As stated in previous reviews, once you park, pay cover and get your first drink, youll be out an easy $30. Beers tend to be cool at best and often taste past dated (like been from hot to cold and back and forth) and the mixed drinks are expensive and weak. The owner will not turn on the AC till late so that way you can buy more drinks since its hot. The DJ will not take requests and if he does, dont expect to hear your song anyway. He tends to stick to hiphop, rap, reggeton, bachata, and tribal. Since its a club with varied age groups, I figured they would play a little of everything but Im mistaken...no dance, no trance no pop.Lots of gangster wannabes and riff-raff people go..wish they would enforce a dress code. The restroom has two urinals broken for who knows how long...figured with all the money hes making, it would have been fixed by now.The club had great potential but because of greed it tends to lack that ability to make it great and worthwhile going.

There was a time this place played good Latino Music, Kunbias, merengue, bachata , reggeaton, and very good old school latin songs But Now This place is going down. The music is always the same, the D.J sucks, the music videos on the screens never match the music on the dance floor, the bartenders suck, the waitress for shot has no personality, the bar tenders are rude and not friendly. The only good thing about this is place is the male strippers, which you need more to keep this place going. This place NEEDS A UPDATE. btw parking sucks too. Pay to get in, pay for drinks, pay for parking. Yea, no thanks.

Crooks! Dont come here. I ordered a pinnacle vodka special -- $3 vodka. Turns out the bartender used Ciroc which is $9.75. I of course did not know this happened till I cashed out. Bartender unwilling to charge me the correct amount or understand his mistake. So I gave no tip. Never coming here again. $9.75 for a drink -- I never saw dust and busted drag queens in a Miami bar. Oh wait this is Houston....

This club used to be very good ! W/ great music ,but lately its more salvadorian and hondeuran ! You can tell they have new DJs and they are not my cup of tea...at least Dallas doesnt dissapoint ...the parking isnt free ,and the drinks are expensive more than any bar I go too I only went last night cuz of the music but now even that is a flaw ! Where did the other DJ go ? Ill go to that spot ... Crystal =overpriced and wack music .

CAUTION WHITE PEOPLE! They don’t like us. IF YOU HATE WHITE PEOPLE you’re in the right place! :D You would think a Houston club would be diverse but ACTUAL RACISM lives here.Watched a couple at the bar get shots as the bartender took a SHOT WITH THEM. The bartender then said “tu bien!” They DIDNT PAY. Minutes later, after the bartender danced and made himself a chaser for the shot my boyfriend and I asked for drinks and bartender told us “cash only” even though the sign says credit cards $20 and up.Every single person looked at my boyfriend and I like we were ALIENS. I have never felt so offended in my life. White people in MAGNOLIA treat me with more respect than anybody did in that club. In the bathroom, I put my hand on somebody’s shoulder to get passed them to use the other sink since nobody was at it. Restroom assistant grabbed me and told me no pushing and then literally said “Putos blancos” in Spanish to other customers in the restroom thinking that I don’t understand Spanish :) also my boyfriend is fluent in Spanish. I said “que tango buen dia” even though it was night time, I hope they think I’m stupid. I lost my mind after a little while of everybody looking at me like an alien and went OFF. We were the most lit people in the whole club and not even in a disrespectful way but I hope they all hate me. Maybe somebody can change it or shut it down. Cannot belIEVE a place like this exists.

Best place in the south. I had so much fun. And there was so many hotels we got to choose near by. I would love to go back, very soon! Can not wait to hear my friends tell their visit on New Years Eve. 😎😂😚

Charged for double the amount of drinks I bought. Asked for manager and the bartender shrugged and said he didn’t know. Finally spoke to someone else and they said they couldn’t refund us for the drinks we didn’t order. Bartender seemed out of it.

Great music and the bartenders are very nice. Depending on the drink of course they can get pricy but the house margaritas are always a winner!

This place needs to be stricter on their restrooms policy. Guys go to the womens restrooms and in my opinion and many others, is not only gross but also disrespectful.

The place is nice, I like the atmosphere too. I just would like them to play better music and change the super rude DJ that is there, it seems like he only plays music that he just likes. If you want to call more people, change the DJ and dont charge a lot of admission.

Bad selection of songs, bad mix and they charge you for parking, plus they charge you for an entrance that doesnt belong to them either? This is a Saturday :) choose wisely :)

1) It seems unheard of to me that you have to pay $10 for a parking lot that is PUBLIC!!!, 2) You have to pay $10 more in cash for the right to enter. 3) Drinks water with a little alcohol. 4) I had no problems with attention. 5) The music could be varied. 6) The place as a local is not bad. It urgently needs a new administration.

Worst place to go out!!!! Drinks altered with water and cheap alcohol!!! They think that you are rude and dont notice it but what a scam they refill their bottles and charge you as if they were giving you the original. Also the DJ is very rude along with the bar tenders. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!!

The place is nice in a good location and they close late, on Saturdays there is a good atmosphere BUT THE DRINKS AND PARKING ARE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN IN MONTROSE AND THE DJS ARE BAD, this place needs urgent changes!!!! Take the DJs to Blur on a Sunday to see how the DJ mixes, or bring the Blur DJ, its a shame the place has potential.

First time and last, I have several reasons why this place is not worth going to, 1 was how is it possible that they charge parking in a public place, 2 you have to carry cash because they dont take your card to pay the entrance, 3 yes If you pay by card it must be for a value greater than 20 USD,4 the DJ they have is terrible, the music is too old. The DJ sticks to playing music from the 80s and 90s. Every weekend he plays the same old music. People stopped coming for the DJ. They have to hire a DJ who knows popular music and is up to date.

Good experience overall. DJ should play less salsa and bachata and more current and varied music, very rarely do they play norteña which is always danceable. They dont beat Caliente or Habana in Dallas.

The music is very old, they hardly play current Cuban music, the less you have to give money to the DJ to do it, and the drink is very expensive and they serve the drinks badly, and they are very rude, apart from that they serve you the drink in small glasses. birthday

I visited this place without reading the comments about the place, because I confirm the DJ is terrible and with a despotic attitude, the waiters were friendly but the DJ approached me out of nowhere and insulted me 🤔, I dont recommend it, Houston has better places

The security was very rude, discriminatory in terms of cultures or countries... I was smoking next to the ashtray and he told me that I couldnt be there, then a group came in my face and they stayed there and he didnt say anything to them, how is it possible that in a Latino and gay community this can happen. This is really intolerable. You come to have fun and spend your money and you run into such ignorant people, the truth is, think carefully before coming to this place, it can happen to anyone!!!

I go to the bathroom, we left the drinks on the tables and when I returned they had collected them after paying 15 dollars for each one, however, the supposed manager said that they are not responsible......terrible......Very bad impression for a first time

The man who cleans the womens bathroom is a thief. I left my cell phone and immediately went back for it, and this man denied me my cell phone. Minutes later my partner had to give him 200 dollars for my cell phone 😠😡. Bad experience!

Lately the music is out of fashion, the DJ only plays retros from the 70s, 80s and 90 almost all night, horrible music, they dont play contemporary hits or really danceable music. CHANGE THE DJ PLEASE We need reggaeton Dale!

I have been there a few times, the atmosphere has always been good but now, there was a fight between some people, one of them threw bottles at the other, broke one on her head, hurt her and spilled beer and pieces of bottle on many people and the DJ didnt even stop the music (he had to do it and call security to remove those people and ban them from entering forever and if possible even call the police)

The DJ plays shitty music. Old music. There is no atmosphere and he doesnt know how to manage the music. It does not play bachata or reggaeton. In short, he doesnt know how to adapt the music and it doesnt work. Thats why I see the club becoming more and more empty and boring!

I havent been, I dont know, but I cant judge or believe what they publish here about negative comments, but not counting the negative comments here, many friends who come from Dallas and Austin and San Antonio, well, I live in Dallas and I work here in Houston and San Antonio. They disagree with everything. On the contrary, it is a very good environment 😜
