Great for groups. Awesome view of downtown with a community feel. Tonys patios rock! The view is divine. Everyone welcomed me and kept the good vibes flowing. An amazing family good folks with big hearts.

Club is pretty cool,but seems the hostesses perform alot more than dancers themseĺves.The shows never start on time.No complaints on bartenders.

Great alternative to the Montrose district, especially when you dont want to search for a parking spot!Easy parking, outdoor patio/deck with bar, pool table, frequent drag shows, dancers, interesting historical archives and GREAT pours. Strong drinks at frugal prices.As you can see, there are several reasons to give this place a try. Come after sunset and get a wonderful view of the skyline.The best reason to visit is the owner, Tony. He is a stand-up guy that truly gives back and supports the community.

On Thursday night the elderly bar tender was very disrespectful and yelling at us when we tried to place order.I have been to Tony many times and I always enjoy. I do not think I will go back after this Thursday and how rude the bar tender was. He also made his own price for our order and over charged us.I think it is time for him to go into retirement home and stop working in customer service

Was taking care of some one that like to drink and there is a guy there that puch my friend at the bar very prepotent said that he knows the owner that he have 30 years of been there. for me was the first time and I, was working taking care of this transgender person and for me the place is good for those that love to drink and see Cubans and Venezuelans strippers Im A very young person still and for me I dont like the place the atmosphere is to tense the owner or the management have to watch and take care new costumers with respect and courtesy that no one because have signiority disrespect Houston police should be hired there to be more controlled the security guys try the best owner need to hire Houston police to have your business secure and safe for all your costumerd and employees also I suggest that.

Let me start with this .. I have been here countless times n every time I’m in here I do nun but support the workers and sprinkle bills across the floor .this specific bartender needs to taught some etiquette . the way he spoke to me was beyond disrespectful & utterly unprofessional . being an industry professional as well, I would *NEVER* say what he said to a client (me) — ever.I normally wouldn’t go out my way to post a negative review on any business but I was just so taken aback by his harsh words.one of my fav spots .. now making me feel uncomfortable , in a space that usually makes me feel like I can be me and be safe . Tony y’all never miss it’s always been a 5 star experience here for frasc me .. pls make this right

This is one of the most awesome, laidback, and chill places to go.. One of my favorite 🤩 things are the bars in and outside… SweetTea is a bartender there and will definitely have you right for the night with awesome customer service… Go to Tonys ‼️ And to the best bartender SweetTea …

Wasn’t very happy with my experience tonight, I came in by myself to enjoy the show and waited over seven minutes for a drink, which I never received. I politely walked out. The bartenders are too consumed with gossiping and trying to be the star of the show, they are missing out on good and new business.. maybe need to hire more bartenders for the overflow just a thought.

On Sunday, November 19, at dawn on Monday, November 20, 2023, I went with my friends to have a nice time at Tonys, but at the moment the dancers were applauded, a person from the audience continued applauding and shouting non-stop and This bothered the presenter Regina and she began to hit the client abruptly, this bothered the entire public because we are not going to Tonys to see violence from a person who works there. I hope the owners become aware and we will not see Regina working again. because it is violent and aggressive

Absolutely the most fun experience of my life! Super friendly bartenders! Amazing atmosphere and got to meet the wonderful Tony himself! Will most definitely be returning! And I returned! Saw Tony again and all the super staff! The place to be!

The owner was very harassing at the club . I would not go back again. I thought he was a homeless person with no voice .

Love going to this place after work for a happy hour drink...or 7. The atmosphere is always chill. I recommend going to Sweet T whom works outside on the patio, he always keeps me coming back. I definitely recommend this place during the day if you want to unwind. If you are looking to party, their night time is awesome also - very attractive exotic dancers.

I love it here, I keep coming back. I wish you guys were open till 4 am, but it’s okay. I especially love hanging out at the patio the music is always bomb. Sweet T is super friendly, makes my drink the way I love it and despite how many customers are there he manages to still make you feel acknowledged.

This has to be one of Houstons hidden gems. My partner and were a little skeptical coming to this place, but we are glad we did. This place is awesome and the atmosphere is very laid back. The place is clean and the drinks are amazing. The bartender there, Chris, was awesome. He was friendly, respectful and courteous. He gave great drink recommendations. The drinks this guy made were some of the best I have ever had, and that is says my something given the fact I have traveled extensively. He introduced to this drink/shot that tastes exactly like a Starbucks coffee. The only downside is there were no dancers and there was one bartender for the whole place. The bartender that was there made up that. We will definitely be adding this place to our regular list of places to have a drink. We will be back very soon.

First time here. Everyone was so friendly. Drinks on point and very reasonably priced. I didnt know what to expect, but I had a blast. The dancers are from different backgrounds which made it more fun to be in such a humbling environment. The host was amazing. If you are reading my review and dont believe it, go see for yourself. Guarantee youll have a blast as well. 😃

Visited this place last night and had an absolute blast. The atmosphere is welcoming entertaining and all around wonderful! The shows, the comedy skits, the people were exactly what we needed for a bachelorette party! 20 times better than la bares. Thank you so much for an unforgettable night!!! Keep them open bring hefty tips & get a few drinks ;)

Omg i love jordan and clay and irwin.

I used to come here about 15 years ago and it was a piano bar. We would all sit around the piano and sing show tunes. They changed the format, I went a few times but moved out of state. There was another bar that I used to go to that had dancers and a drag show that I forgot the name Tonys corner pocket seems to have taken over that whole format and the clientele . I wouldnt say it was much fun as sitting around a piano singing show tunes but there is a very large free parking lot, the drinks are good, so I recommend especially if you dont like wrestling with parking.

Went here for a rugby match after-party. It was fantastic. Tony and the bartenders were so great and friendly. I had a wonderful time. Will definitely be returning next time I am in Houston.

I went with a group of friends on their Thirsty Thursday night and wooh man I am definitely coming back. The dancers were FANTASTIC and lots of fun. Everyone is very friendly.

Tony was the perfect host for parking at the Art Car Parade. By the time we went back to our car, it felt like returning to an old friend. Great location and perfect atmosphere for relaxing in a genuine and welcoming space.

During the day, the drinks are good and bartenders are friendly. Be careful at night.

I love Tonys I was just here over the weekend and had a great time. They have plenty of parking to park your car. You do have to have you ID or DL just like any other place to get in the bar. The bar has a patio and you have a great view of Downtown Houston. They have hot male dancer that will give you a good show and keep you entertained. The drinks are on point it can get crowded at time since this is a small place. Over all recommended you will have a good time here.

Absolutely enjoyed this establishment. The owner greeted us and immediately knew we were from out of town he bought us some of the best wings we had tasted in Houston. The dancers are gorgeous and the bartenders were great I cant wait to visit the next time we are in town.

Great place, its a hidden gem. I went here as my first bar at 21 have been going ever since. I love bringing people and watching their eyes light up as we go inside🥰 its a fun place the only issue is going as a woman sometimes the staff or customers can try to make you feel as if you dont belong there even though their sign says all welcome usally its just one of the guest MC with a chip on her shoulder but once you get passed that though its great!! Be sure to bring money! Also I lost my wallet here one time and someone returned it with everything except the cash so that was nice lol just remember first and foremost its a gay bar so be respectful and youll be treated wonderfully❤

Tonys is a fun gay bar with different events happening every night. Its probably best known for its amateur male strip shows and drag queen bingo. Everyone there is friendly and the drinks usually strong. It has a great upper deck patio for having cocktails and one of the best views of the Downtown Houston skyline.

Strong drinks, great entertainment, lots to see. Theres someone there for everyone. Wasnt overly crowded, but Im sure its different all the time. Not every dancer is say and the dude like to talk to any sex. A place to surprise a fun mom with, but maybe too much for a old school Grandma.

I dont live in Houston but went here with a guy friend of mine and I loved it! Everyone is so nice and friendly. Drinks were a little expensive but good. Love the dancers too!! I was very pleased.

Mykey is the best bartender. He is so professional he makes us feel welcome!! He is a key part of this establishment he makes this place feel like home will be coming back because of him!!!! Ps he knows the 18 minute version of McAthur Park by Donna summmers!!!!!!

This was my first experience at a gay bar (or just a bar in general). Wasn’t very busy, but that’s my fault for coming on a Monday night. Brad and Bryan were more than amazing bartenders and helped me feel very welcome.

I’ve visited Tony’s Corner Pocket a couple of times with friends. I think Saturday 12/28/19 will be my last time I will ever visit here again. Over crowed(I should have called the fire marshal). Yes they have a sign up that says everyone is welcome, Yes EVERYONE IS WELCOME But it’s just another hustler bar everyone is out trying to make some money. People selling drugs, smoking weed on the patio area. Overpriced weak drinks. I paid 19.50 for two rounds of 3 different drinks at the inside bar. Fast forward, at the outside bar two rounds of the same drinks were double that amount that’s right DOUBLE 39.00 dollars for the same drinks that I paid 19.50 for on the inside. When I asked the bartender why say much he said idk but that’s the charge, if you ask me even the bartenders are stealing people’s money by overcharging. Yea I don’t think me and my friends will be going back here anymore. Instead of calling it Tonys Corner Pocket might want to call it Hustlers Overpriced Stealing Pocket.

Tonys Corner Pocket is a fun and friendly place. The owner, Tony, has been operating this place for 16 years. You can have a great time and be yourself here while enjoying wonderful views of downtown Houston.

By far the best and most welcome gay bar in Houston. Everyone is accepted. DJ Snuggles plays the best music weekdays and Amanda Ann is never late to her dumpster appointments.

I dont have enough exemplary things to say about McDonald. In the 1950s he would have been described as Top drawer; he is a true master of his craft and is second to none in my opinion. McDonalds abilities far supersede those of any bartender known to me in this day and age. He has the perilous ability to concoct the most magical libations from the most rudimentary spirits and mixers. Only the greatest of craftsmen can be inspired to achieve his level of paragon.Outstanding admiration is given every time I am graced with his service. Outside of being an exceptional bartender, I would rank him as first class in service. Just because you serve dose not mean youre ruled by those you serve. McDonald transcends the conventional aspects of service to deliver a sound and resolute experience to any patron who he has the pleasure to be in his grace and presence.If I could bestow a trophy exemplifying the well deserved accolades; The trophy would dwarf that of national monuments built to honour great men.Jordan, the bar manager also deserves equitable footing. When called upon there is no task too petty or great for which he will tackle steadfast and resolute. In the face of great adversity he acts with honour and serves at the pleasure of his trade with grace, determination and above all else dignity.Tonys Corner Pocket is a home to ALL and exceptional performances and lavations.

Dont go -- CRIMINALS! FRAUD!! I went here many times since moving to Houston a year ago and I generally had good time. Then one night I go to pay out my bar tab with my credit card (that the bartender held onto) and it turns out he gave it away to another customer! I had $200+ charges put on my card. Then it got worse -- nobody was willing to help me, the manager refused to see me. The owner got wind of what happened and called 2 days later, however was rude and inconsiderate. He was not willing to reimburse me nor offer me compensation for what his workers did to me. Giving away my credit card is a crime and if I wasnt as nice of a guy as I am, I could (by law) sue them for fraud. Never plan on going here again. Poor customer service.

If i get out of work before last call, Tonys is my go to spot after a long day/night tending bar in downtown. The place us always crowded on the weekends, all of the staff are very friendly (chris on the patio rocks!!) AND.....the eye candy is OH SO FINE!!! Youll see new faces each and every time you go. Be sure to bring dollar bills for tipping the drag queens as well as the dancers (some of which deserve 20s. ;-)

I always come here with my wife. I’m looking forward to warmer days in the patio. It’s always a fun night, Sweet T never misses in terms of drinks or playlist.

I cannot speak directly to what is served inside of Tony’s, but I can tell you ...I wasn’t a customer at this establishment BEFORE last night...my friends car would not start. I walked over to Tony’s and Mr. Tony himself offered his lot for free without the thought of towing.After 2 hours of trying to start her car, just to get it to Mr. Tony’s lot...we walked over and asked Mr. Tony to help us. He literally rounded up everyone inside the establishment to come help us. Long story short...her car was placed in his lot by all of the helping hands.I will be returning, but next time it will be as a customer who appreciates kindness and generosity.Thank you Mr. Tony.

This bar is like Cheers... Everyone, from the customers down to the security guys, are so friendly and make you feel like family. Definitely worth a visit if you are new to town and want to meet some down to earth guys....and a few girls.

Most diverse crowd I have ever seen in the Montrose/Midtown area and I have lived directly in the center of that area for better than 16 years. In addition, TONYS CORNER POCKET has one of the best bartending staffs in the business, in my opinion. Give it a try and you wont be disappointed; I guarantee it. Happy hour from 12pm to 8pm- a good time to check out the place and find you a spot, a friend and a bartender would be from 8pm-10:30pm, and the remaining time would be to enjoy yourself with the great Entertainment and great DRINKS. Check it out, I know what Im talking about.....lol.

You get what you pay for from the start. No admission at a strip/gogo bar is generally an indication of the worth inside. Houston Tony’s not so great, I love the New Orleans location

For a gay strip club theirs way to many women. So many the men forget where their working and ignore all the gay guys who spends tons of money trying to keep the bar open....
