St. James Restaurant and Cabaret

This is the best restaurant and cabaret I have ever been to. The building is beautiful inside and out. I have been going here for years and its only gotten better since the new manager London Steele has improved so much of the atmosphere. The girls are stunning, and they have a lot of events. There is always something going on, and you can bet. I will be there for it. Its definitely the place to be!!

I didnt have fun here and left very disappointed. I came with my wife for my birthday and not a single girl gave any attention to us at all. Its a nice looking and clean place but we just couldnt get any attention from anyone so it was not fun.

Turned away at the entrance because I had classy black pants, but they were tied with a string instead of a button. A place that thinks its upscale but is just an old strip club on a dirty, poorly lit road. Maybe it was because of my French accent?

Great place to visit any day but especially Friday for their seafood lunch special! London the manager always has great hospitality always checking on me making sure I have a good time. Also a special thank you to Cleo for showing me around the club and showing me an amazing time. Hands down the most beautiful Asain in the building!!

Love the attention to service! All my needs were met when it came to the food, drinks, and view! The ambiance makes it comfortable to spend hours at a time while having fun nonetheless. Would recommend frequenting there often with friends!

Turned away at the door because of my face tattoos, Im a tattoo artist not a drug dealer. Door lady was super rude about it to 🙄 Dont bother wasting your time here if youre not in black tie attire, white, and perfect, they wont let you in.

Racist to Latinos! Fat lady at the Front door / cashier is rude. She claimed we were drinking before coming inside. when she clearly saw we used her hand sanitizer and she called a guy who ask us personal questions like where we were coming from or where we work. How can that be relevant?. Then we decided to leave and spend our money somewhere else. They lost a customer. I bet they just didn’t didnt like our looks or how we were dressed…

Im in town for a few days, nice place went in for lunch, food was great Alice is a very attentive waitress, and the entertainers are very attractive specifically Janet .

My experience was not so good I would be sitting for hours waiting while the girls spent more time on there phones than making money I went there with a lot of money and left with most of it I spent more on drinks and only 1 girl came to me and after my dance she said she would come back but didnt and another girl i tipped and wanted a dance from just sat at the bar and didnt till I was about to leave and because a girl management sent over who I didnt want talked to here and when she came over she tried to make excuses and tried to give me 1 but I was to upset so I didnt get a dance from her even though she tried and Im not happy management sent some girls over I told them Im very picky I sent them away this isnt the first time I been looked over and Im done Im never ever going there again.

Had a great night out with friends here. Lots of girls and Lonnie the manager and Christian the bartender were awesome

Got turned away after a 50 minute drive, they felt like someone who was quiet in our party was too drunk (loud obnoxious drunk group after us was let in though)Never again

Gentlemen and Ladies for all that matters. If you want to try a Fantastic Buffet look no further. The buffet on Friday from 1100 to 1400 is fantastic. Ask for waitress Holly and order the Buffet and you will be pleasently surprised. Your eyes will enjoy this upscale cabaret also.

I have been coming here for about 3 years now. Absolutely love the environment and staff. It is truly my best adult night club. Very welcoming. 5 star to Kim, lovely waitress, always with the best attitude. Love this place…

This is the BEST GENTLEMAN CLUB IN HOUSTON food is absolutely AMAZING Service is top tier, the drinks are delicious and Entertainers are absolutely beautiful I always go see entertainer MILANI she’s amazing ask for her she’s a day shift girl! This place was my first strip club experience and it was pretty decent. I had private dances from a few different girls and each one was clear about how much itd be and there were no sneaky tactics to swindle me or anything like that. There was a nice mix of girls in regards to race, features and sizes. Our waitress was cute and attentive. Drinks were expensive but thats what you expect at a place like this. Overall I was very satisfied. Id come back again.

Awesome club! Best in Houston. This establishment has a lift on the stage. The dancers come up with a smoke machine. This was something I’ve never seen before in any club. Also, there was a danger I noticed that preformed with a light up hula hoop. I don’t think I’ll forget the evening I had there. Defiantly a night to remember.

The food is second to none. Bartenders are top notch and know how to make every drink you can think of. What else can you ask for? The entertainers are down right beautiful and friendly. The waitresses are cute and attentive. By far the BEST CLUB in Texas. With Jason Lebaron being the GM now, the club has returned to its glory days! You’re gonna have a damn good time! I’ll come to this club before I go to any of the clubs in Vegas. It is by far superior in every aspect!

Never in my life did I think applying a a strip club would be hard but I guess so for a person of color . Came in February talked to nikko was told by nikko to come back in April. Came back and April called ahead of time asked if Nikko was there and then turned away . This club doesn’t want black in the club unless it’s a customer. Will never come back recommend heartbreakers instead

Great club but your front door cashier working this night is woke. I had to leave. She can claim her ideas; elsewhere we just want to say hi to the talent. Not her... the last woman was a great ally. The new woke trailer girl didnt like my look to her negative question. Lost customer...

DANCER STOLE MONEYNext to last dance of evening. Shy friend wanted girl to dance for him. I approached and gave girl on stage $100, specifically pointing out to girl the gentleman that I wanted her to dance for and informed her gentlemans name was Paul. She acknowledged arrangement and said she would come over after her on-stage dance. Girl took off with money and snuck out the back of the club. When I reported to management, he initially appeared helpful and then accused me of placing money on stage making it stage and not dance money.I informed the manager in a courteous and polite manner that if matter was not addressed that that they could keep money and I would post appropriate reviews on-line.Manager accused me of threatening him and establishment, and did so himself in a threatening and menacing manner.Manager instructed very large bouncer to escort friend and myself out of club and instructed bouncer to keep me out PERIOD.when told management to keep money but that I would post appropriate review. I have NEVER had anything like this happen nor have I ever been treated in such a way before.The manager was absolutely thuggish acting. But dont believe me. Read some of the other reviews concerning management.If you want to relax and have a drink while looking at attractive women, your money is better spent in some other gentlemans club where they know how to act and treat their customers like gentlemen.

This place is superlative in comparison to any club in Houston.I came in with neutral expectations and left with a smile on my face. Looking forward to seeing Mrs. Constance again. She was fun and friendly. I thought it was sweet of her to cut me off from drinking too. Ill be back to see her.

Went this past Sunday and only a couple of dancers can actually dance. Most were very low energy, almost lazy with their performances. Journey, however, was amazing. Great body, great moves.The food was ok. Maybe a bit over priced. Bartender that night was horrible.

I should put a negative review. Managers Reggie and Jason are money hungry crooks. They charge you *under the table* and dont realize where and who is spending money. This is for the owner, I know your name, but wont mention it on here. You should really look into your business and stop all this *under the table funding* Need to get this place under new management, so all this stops. I could have numerous reviews from others that see the same thing posted on here if I dont see a change soon.

The St. James is a classy place with attractive, fit, friendly dancers. However if you are a woman/couple this is not the most welcoming club. The managers make you feel unwelcome and the dancers will rarely pay attention to you since policies mean they cant really make any money from you. If you are a woman and want more detail I talk about my experiences as a female patron there in my wordpress blog: just a girl who loves strippers. If you are a guy, go, youll have a good time, classy place, great girls, if you are a couple, its still nice, but dont expect too much beyond a stage show.

Honestly I don’t write reviews unless they are either really positive or negative and this is one of those cases. Went in today with no expectations as it was my first time going here and I can most definitely say it will not be my last!. Everything was literally like my review 5 stars from beginning to end definitely recommended to everyone. Not sure what’s up with the bad reviews honestly.

Its always an enjoyable evening at the church ⛪. The venue has attentive staff, good drinks, nice music, and attractive dancers. Theres always a level of variability depending on the night you visit, but overall, one of the best - if not THE BEST - Gentlemens club in Houston.

Absolutely amazing club. Clean, fun, beautiful girls and most of all, they put on a show !Ask for Oksana when you go in, she is absolutely amazing in every way. That Russian Beauty knows how to show everyone a great time!

The only bad thing about this place is that it is too far from Austin. I had a girl who I met in Austin. When she moved to Houston she went to work there. We had it on for the first time in one of their little rooms. We did it a lot of times there. Then the place was busted a couple of times by the police and several of the girls landed in jail for a night, and my friend got really scared and stop dancing there. I have been there every time I get to Houston and it is never disappointing, if you know what i mean. If you have the money pay for the VIP section is fantastic (the managers leave you and your girl totally alone)

Visiting to see the super bowl lineup and based on reviews and my friends word this was supposedly the best place. There was some special regular big shot there, and management kept on putting his favorite girls on stage which just happened to be very unattractive over weight dancers which I would not expect to even be hired at the best place in town. All I have to say to management is, that special regular was not the only customer in there be more professional. Not everyone wants to see some fat hogs up there.

No show on stage at 4 pm?! Then I got served 2 Perrier bottles with broken seals that was clearly tap water, as it was very flat. I tried to tip $3, on 2 tap waters and instead the waitress kept $8 change (on top of the $12 for 2 waters)! Then when asked if I wanted another “Perrier” the waitress brought it anyway after I declined! I won’t be back!!! I think $6 for a sparkling water should be enough to make a profit without having to refill the bottles with tap water! What a scam. On a positive note the service at the front door was outstanding.

Good management, dancers make sure you have a good time. Good food, good view, excellent bartenders, fast service.

Not a very good variety of women, many of them looked the same. The 2 women I spoke to were drunk and had snippy attitudes, but were super quick to offer other services upstairs. Im a man, so hell yeah I love the offer, but not to a drunk, money hungry robot who acts like she doesnt even want to be there.

Plenty of nice looking girls (all, shapes, sizes and nationalities), friendly wait staff, prices about the same as any other in Houston. went on a Friday at about 6:45 and stayed until 11:30. Strange menu - New york Strip is $25 and they say they do not have a ribeye, but you can get the Rib-eye sandwhich for 9 dollars and its huge.. :) If you want a steak then order the ribeye sandwich and just remove the bread.Food taste I would rate about 6-7 out of 10, not the best quality but better than some regular places.

Pretty good stuff here, mid day and must be 40+ girls here, and most of them are hot! Prices pretty reasonable and you can vape

Ron and waitress Kat are the reason this place is failing. Ron fails to see waitress Kat pimping out girls throughout his club and how bad she is making the Club look not just with this, but with her crappy attitude. She constantly gossips about dancers/customers/management and spreads lies and I am only looking to come here as an escape from the drama. This place used to be fun, now it’s the furthest thing from that. This place has really fallen off. Such a disappointment and maybe Ron will wake up and make some serious changes.

Make sure you discuss pricing BEFORE. One of their staff tried to charge me $300 for a 2-3 songs. Otherwise it was good vibes

Best strip club to see it rain. You will see thousands of dollars getting thrown from upstairs while the girls are dancing. They literally use brooms to sweep it all up. Watch private dances by not so good looking girls.. They will change prices without notice. The pool next to the helicopter landing was out of a movie. The Hispanic thick twins are out of this world!

A night of fun turned into a night of hell ending with my husband getting his arm broken by police from the force of them slamming him to ground for no reason and an african nigerian decent valet driver assaulting me by slapping me not once but TWICE for no reason..... we were trying to leave and the valet driver refused to let us and i didnt understand why b/c i parked my own car..the cops were called and in the mist of the driver slapping me the manager at the club didnt do anything about it when he was standing there watching ..... we ended up being released by police b/c we didnt do anything wrong, but yet nothing was done about the assault against me by the valet driver, so i plan to get an attorney and take this further with internal affairs as well for my husbands broken arm, which was so badly broken that he ended up needing surgery. This place is heartless and unprofessional and i am going to pull the race card simply because we were treated like criminals and i feel because we were an interracial couple.

Went here last night 12-1 all I can say is fantastic. Beautiful ladies, friendly service, good food. Ive seen the few bad reviews on here and can only say was not my experience. Had a great time and will definitely be back.

I had really bad experience in recent visit. The manager searched rooms using a flashlight towards me and dancer, too dad! I will never come back.This manager should be fired, because he is too rude and drives customers away.

Im disappointed, ended up playing games with my phone, place is so boring, girls WILL NOT come to you and/or ask you for dance, I took a pic to send to my friend to have him come over, a waitress asked me to open my pictures and delete that one picture, then go to deleted items and clear it, and all the time she was looking at my private photos just to make sure I deleted that one photo, ppl, there are more gentlemen clubs in the great area of Houston that will (RESPECT) what a gentlemen wants!
