Amys Med Spa is the best skin care center in Houston. Ive been going for two years now and Amy is wonderful. She is very knowledgeable about skin. Im also well versed in skin care, because Ive been going to various estheticians in different cities for over 20 years, and I know a good skin care specialist immediately. I have been receiving services from Amy’s for over a year and I am well pleased with the results of the services that I have received. I have gotten luxury facials and am still on the 6 month treatment for the green peel. I was experiencing resistant post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and my skin had become sensitive to the products that I was using prior to receiving treatments with Amy. Amy advised me to discontinue use of those harsh products and resort to more gentler skincare options. Amy was very transparent with me about what to expect throughout the treatment process and was very diligent about tracking my process. I had a wonderful experience will go again. I had left $200 down for a acne treatment package that I ended up not being able to afford for personal reason. But I went again to see if I could use the $200 for a facial and they worked with me and I thank them a lot for that the staff was amazing. I had such an amazing facial and the person I can’t remember her name made me feel so comfortable and at home I really enjoyed my time there thanks to her for working with me and teaching me a lot what to do with my skin and helping me find the right stuff. Im writing this review to hopefully save others a trip from considering this place to be of service towards their skin transformation. You will be shown pictures of various individual,will be told how much of a difference green peel has made for those individuals, and how you can experience a difference in your skin after a series of peel sold as a package. I decided to consider the green peel and after a series of 6-8 peels and facials in between (which in my opinion were nothing I would rave about), the peels did not make a difference and my skin did not transform to what I was told upon consultation and purchasing the package. Also, throughout my expereince, much care and attention was not given as the peels progressed, pictures showing progress overtime from her end were not taken throughout each session. I told the owner that the treatments did not do much for me, and my concerns were not resolved as discussed that they would be during consultation and in return received store credit for not much. That being said I will never go to this place again to get any treatments done. Please consider another medspa, this is not a place where your genuine skin concerns will be addressed by realistic outcomes that your seeking. There are far better med spas in this city. This place is simply a place where you wont get results and your just paying money for getting your face washed and exfoliated which only yields minimal to no visible changes.

First time going to Amy’s based on family/friend recommendation. Satisfied customer. Would return. Reasonable price. Clean. Good customer service. Good at explaining/performing treatment. This business has been around for years.

My husband bought a $250 gift card for my birthday for massages. When I called to make an appt, they said that they were not accepting new massage clients. So hubby asked for his money back, and they REFUSED! At this point, we are out $250 for nothing! Do not buy a gift card from Amy’s! Wish I could give zero stars! We are now seeking legal action just to get our money back!

The worst place to go. I went in once for green peel facial and it was so painful that i couldn’t take it and after that i went for skin tag laser removed and this is the worst worst thing i have done to my skin. It’s been 2 years and i still have white marks on my neck. White spots and i have lost my confidence and everything not able to wear a piece of jewelry on my neck because of this Amy. When i went for facial also she’s so so hard on my face that the experience is worst. Please guys don’t ever go to this place, it’s my sincere suggestion.

This is before and after ONE treatment of the natural chemical peeling. I have 5 more to go, and I’m just beyond happy. It’s been years since I don’t take pictures without filter or make up. I came to Amy’s Med Spa because my daughter gifted me with a facial, and Amy recommend this peeling treatment for my skin condition. No regrets here, just happy tears. I feel more confident now! The girls here are to delicate and professional! Amy takes the time to talk to you, and she is the one performing the actual peeling. I feel renewed!

I had an interview here for the esthetician position- tried to give the benefit of doubt but overall decided it was not for me. This place has so many red flags. Amy was very rude & invasive with her extremely personal questions. For example, asking me how I’m able to afford things. She also wanted me to stick around for 3 hours, unpaid- no thanks. I should’ve read the reviews before considering applying here.

Amy’s Skin Care is absolutely the best and most kept secrets in Houston! As someone who has sensitive skin, I would only get a facial somewhere that I know the products are good and the aestheticians are knowledgable and well trained. I am so glad my friend referred me to This hidden gem! Amy is AMAZING. After a visit with Anne, my skin was glowing, I was relaxed, and I looked refresh! I have been coming here for a couple of months, but really increased the frequency of my visits. Amy takes her time, she is gentle, and she knows what she is doing! I am now addicted and come every 8-10 weeks. I will also add, the prices are very reasonable for what you are getting. I would recommend anyone to pay an visit and see the result yourself!

I came to this spa about 2 years ago. I am dark black women just trying to perfect my skin. I came in to ask about their services Amy tried really hard to convince l me to by a package for $2000 which consists of 5 series of green peel. I couldn’t afford it but she promised me that would make a huge change to my life that I should go ahead and buy it. I accepted and put it all my savings on it. After the first one it was so painful and my skin healed so badly.. my pimples increased and I was looking worse she told be to be patient and I trusted her .. I came back the following month and it ddnt get better my skin was breaking out even more and she started to care less after treatment 3 another lady who occasionally did my facial in the same spa told me to stop because obviously it is not working for my skin and that this whole package deal was a scam. I stopped and started using organic product like tumeric and stuff. It took a long time for my skin heal from all the trauma and awful chemicals she was putting on my skin. I reached out to her months later to request a refund for the services I ddnt use because the product is making my skin worse. And I don’t wanna continue with it. nshe completely refused and wanted to offer me a $70 refund over a package I purchased for $2000. I am in the process of suing her and I would like to warn y’all to watch out. It’s all talk and no results.

Had some skin tag removal with Amy & I’m very satisfied! I was very scared about it at first because it was right on the edge of my waterline. After the numbing cream the pain was minimal to none. Highly recommend!!! She’s a lovely person 🥰 I had several other spots removed & she was sure to inform me what will come off completely and what will need more sessions due to the depth. The owner of this business is extremely untrustworthy and stole $800 from me. I paid $800 as a deposit towards laser hair removal and then was transferred to another state with my job before I could schedule the services. I called to request a refund because I’m living out of state and will not be in Texas to schedule services. I was told no refund would be provided but when I’m in town I could use my $800 credit towards ANY services they provide. One year later I’m visiting my family in Houston and l to call and use my credit to make a massage appointment. I’m told they arent accepting new customers and I cannot use my credit for a massage because their Massage Therapist is old and about to retire and can only handle one customer per day. Ummmm? Not my problem! I ask AGAIN for a refund an told the owner would call me but I’ve never received a call. This business STOLE $800 from me and now I’m forced to contact an attorney for fraud and theft. My sister is a news anchor for a popular Houston news station and I’m also bringing this to the news to expose this business for lying to customers.

I had dark spots appear on both my upper and lower lip, so I called and the person on the phone was very kind and informative of what Amy could do for me. I went in for an examination and Amy and the staff were very comforting, welcoming and kind. I expected the procedure to take a few hours but she was able to get the job done with excellent results in under 10 minutes. I will definitely come back here if I need something done! I had skin tags all over my face and neck with a few large ones near my eyes for as long as I can remember. I was always self conscious and embarrassed by them, especially since they can’t be covered up with makeup. Tamara and Mrs. Amy were empathetic with my issues during my consultation and Mrs. Amy patiently removed all of my skin tags during my treatment sessions. It’s been only a couple of weeks since my treatments, but I’ve already seen dramatic improvement. After all the scabs fell off I was left with my once again smooth face and neck. During my follow up appointment, when Mrs. Amy asked if I was happy with the results…all I could reply was it’s not happiness I’m feeling, but WOW!!!

Amy is hands on the BEST at what she does. Her facility is clean, inviting and very pleasant to be in. I dont have a consistent skin care regimen but I came to get a facial and some help getting a consistent skin care regimen to help take better care of my skin. Today the service I received at Amys was AMAZING! Im so glad I came here. First I had a consultation to asses my skin, find out my problem areas. Amy walked me thru the different types of treatment I could start. Wendy did my treatment and facial! She was amazing! The products she used have my skin glowing and so CLEAR! I was very disappointed in my facial. I chose Amy’s because she has great reviews, but perhaps her strengths are in other areas. I wanted a facial with a “spa” experience. I did not get that here. Her front desk people had no customer service skills. The patient consultation was not a consultation at all. It was merely an opportunity for Amy to see what other salons you visit. I also did not appreciate That she trying to sell me other things that were unrelated to my visit before my facial when I had already been waiting 30 minutes to be seen. For the price that she charges, I expected more of a spa experience. I also had to correct the aesthetician. She kept hitting the bed to dry her hands. Between that and numerous trips to the sink for water, it was impossible to relax. The entire visit felt very transactional. I will not be returning.

Lauren is awesome. She did my facial and was very professional from the start. She is very knowledgeable and educated me on skin care and guided me on what she was doing. It was a relaxing process and the office is nice and clean. I would definitely recommend Lauren for all your facial needs!

My skin has never looked so good. I have very sensitive skin. I have been going to Amy’s for over a year. My favorite is the hydrating facial done by Sarah. It is rejuvenating and so relaxing. This is the only place I will be going to in the future.

I use to have problems with break outs until a co-worker recommended Wendy at Amys Skin Car & Med Spa. That was over 2 years ago and I have been going to Wendy ever since for my facial. The difference in my skin is like night and day. Friendly and professional staff on top of great results. I have already set up my next appointment with Wendy. I am forever a loyal customer!

RUN RUN !!! This place is a joke I went and got their green peel package for $1900, that is how good Amy is in scamming you. After I paid for the package she said I need to come for facial to get my skin ready for peel which I did . On my first peel appointment I was running late about 10min due an accident on the road, I called to let them know and since they charge you $40 for rescheduling the receptionist automatically asked me to reschedule since they don’t allow you to be late at all despite the circumstances. I told her the dr offices will allow 15min late but your asking me to reschedule while I am 10min away ? She was keep insisting on rescheduling- I finally made it there on time , Amy who I already had 3 visits with came in to do the peel and asked me what was my concerns I told her you don’t remember, after taking pic and talking my head off - her response no I do so many peels So I don’t remember- when she finished the peel she asked me to schedule a follow up and bring all my skin care products so she can see if I need to make changes - at that moment I knew she wants to push her products on me - the next day I called and asked if I could get my money back which of course they said no- I had to go through my credit card company and get my refund - she is running scam

I had a reaction to a green peel which left me severely scared for months! She said I had scarring because I talked the day after the peel. Sooo you expect me to work and not talk? Crazy....Lol...Ive had chemical peels in the past with no issues so Im not new to how to behave after a peel... When I asked to change my package to microneedling Amy kept pushing me to do the green peel again and I said no and opted for microneedling to replace since they dont do refunds. I dont think Amy really listens. She is all about money and not customer first...All other staff were excellent and my facials and microneedling was good which is why I gave the extra star.I will never be back. Ive seen other negative reviews and the company responds saying they cant find them in the system. I have pictures to prove the damage she caused my skin. I doubt any of those negative reviews are wrong because their stories are consistent with my experience as well. Please put your money elsewhere.

I did not care for my service they took too long. Wendy did my service the waxing was not done properly I still had hair left on my arms and legs. I asked for full arms and she wanted to charge extra for finger hair. I felt that should of been included with price. For the whole service it took over 4 hours that was way too long for me. I will not be back.

Nice place , Amy is so nice . I came for a facial .Really know and is passionate about her job . I came for the first time and she was really honest with me about the necessity that my face required and told me to reschedule so she can take care of my face . After two hours of suffering and a foot treatment (+35$) . My face is fresh and Im definitely happy with it. I have lived around the corner from Amys for five years and never had a chance to stop by. Why did it take so long? For my daughters 3Oth birthday we had a mother/daughter spa day with facials and massages! It was perfect! I had the hydrating facial with a college mask and I could tell the difference immediately! The women at the spa are welcoming, professional and all-around lovely. I will be back regularly and cant wait for the next time.

I love Amys skin care & Med spa originally went for a consultation and met Mrs. Amy herself the owner absolutely straightforward and sweet lady. Mrs.Amy did my consultation and it was very informational and straightforward so I end up deciding on a herbal peel She will let you know what is best for you the 3 or 6 treatments I decided on that 3 treatment herbal peel And in between my pills I do my face shows as well and my skin has come a long way. Very very good salon! High end. I am experienced customer in regards of salons, though didn’t go deep into investing into myself yet (I m 42), mostly facials here (Wendy is the best but always booked), and other non radical procedures in other places which I am used to. Have this one for my future procedures in mind for sure! I moved to Katy but still coming back here! Even though it’s difficult with the 4 month old ...:)

After the passing of my dermatologist I was looking to remove skin tags for an affordable price. Because of the changes in healthcare and insurance not paying for the procedure, my chiropractor recommended Amys skin care. Not only did I not have to pay for an office visit and lab work but Amy had extremely reasonable pricing. I’m a returning customer, and usually satisfied by miss Wendy. But today I was highly disappointed by a new esthetician, named miss Rosita who did my facial. I was supposed to get a deep cleansing but she spent the whole time massaging my face and my neck with oil (which was rough and not relaxing). She did not take the time to deeply clean my face, which was a waste of money and time for me. The services offered in this spa are expensive so you should take the time to do what the customer asks. It seemed like she was rushing to take somebody else. Another thing I noticed in this spa, is that it always has new people working there, so make sure that the job is well done by whoever does it. Next time I’ll talk to the manager before paying if I’m not satisfied cause I just threw my money away today. Don’t feel like my face just got a facial.

Amy is personal, dedicated to her customers and passionate about her business. She and her staff are well trained and stay abreast of the latest natural techniques. My facials are amazing and I’m not a “high” maintenance type of person but Amy makes it worth it!

DO NOT GO. they are 2K green tea cream car salesman! Amy especially. they don’t consult or listen. The consultation is in the form of Amy shoving her green tea peel down your throat. It is about 2k because you need multiple treatments. I want to warn people about the poor ethics this business has when you want to trust someone with your skin. I left a review a year ago- they insinuated I wasn’t a real customer (because I have nothing better to do) 🙄 then I got a nasty personal message from a random person with zero review history other than to respond to my review in private unprofessionally insulting me for what my husband won’t pay for, wait what?… lol My facial was nothing special. Rub some cream wipe more cream $200 please.

I came here, not on a recommendation, but by one of those guys on the side of the road spinning around an advertisement for new skin tag removal technology. Having recently starting to grow skin-tags, I decided to drop by Amys to see what she could do for me. I was immediately greeted by a very friendly and knowledgable staff and was very much surprised that I was able to see someone that same day. They took me to a room and less than 5 minutes later, I was immediately greeted by Amy herself. She educated me on the procedure and answered any and all questions that I had. You can tell Amy is very passitionate about what she does, which made getting the procedure done one of the best decisions ive made that day. Though I only came to get my skin-tags removed, I will definitely come back for her other services. She def. has a customer for life and I would def. recommend coming here for all your skin-care services. You wont regret it.

I honestly forgot when was the last time i went with amy, but i can tell a lot of people my skin and life wasn’t so great when i visited amy, At the time i had a lot of personal issues going on and the stress was getting to me. My face was filled with acne, and with that.. my confidence went down to zero. I’m pretty sure everyone does research and tries to figure out a way to get rid of acne, i tried every single thing and still didn’t work. So my only option was to find a dermatologist, and i came across Amy’s skin care. I made a call to book an appointment, when i arrived the day of the appointment the staff was so nice, they told me to sit and offered me drinks, it didn’t take long for amy to see me. She took me to a room to discuss pricing, and i’m going to be honest it was pricey but she does try to work with you and your budget. We ended up agreeing to an offer she gave me, so just like that i was on to a journey of pain lol but well worth it. The package she gave me consisted of a lot of things plus additional products you needed to buy for your face. I wish i could tell you my whole experience with my face but i’m just trying to get straight to the point. Amy is a very highly skilled person, very nice and understanding. She gives you good advice on what you should do to prevent acne or anything skin related. She also tries to make conversation with you so you won’t feel awkward for any of you people that are shy. For the most part it’s a very nice place and i would highly recommend amy and her nice staff, they all work hard and try and make you feel like you are at home. I don’t have before and after pictures but this is how i look after the process with amy.

This place is amazing, they helped me get rid of all my stubborn white heads on my forehead and helped with my acne. You can really see that Amy takes pride in her work and is intrested in your needs as well as Wendy who is excellent with her hands!! It’s a little pricey but totally worth it!!!! I will be coming back for sure.

During my pregnancy, I developed several skin tags on my neck. I was hoping that after I delivered they would go away naturally; however, they did not. Luckily, I found Amys Skin care to help remove the 15+ skin tags on my neck. Amy was very quick and professional in the removal and I was greatly pleased with my results. I highly recommend her services if you are looking for skin tag removal.

I came across Amy’s skin care through a coworker whom I noticed her glowing skin with the lightening of her freckles. I’ve suffered from cystic acne since I turned 35. I had perfect skin before then. With the acne came the devastating scars so I asked my coworker what she did with her skin and she told me great things about Amy’s skin care. With my desperation to tackle the acne and acne scars, I came for a consultation. She recommended a series of the Green Peel and microneedling. After my 1st treatment, I became very enthusiastic with the effect. Nevertheless I still broke out but the scars have faded especially on my chin area. As I continued with the treatment, I had less and less breakouts. I am very pleased. After my 4th treatment, I barely get any pimples. Take note that I had the deep cleaning facials a week before my green peel or microneedling.I also would like to note how wonderful Amy, Wendy and Trisha are. The spa is clean and inviting. Truly a place to relax and destress. I highly recommend them.

This place should be closed! Amy damaged my skin! She didn’t understand well about skin and treatments. Her green peel price is 3-4 times more expensive than any other MedSpas and even doctor offices. Gave very very wrong consultations!!! All she cared about trying to sell her green peel package and other facial packages not your skin/health concerns. It was so annoying when she and her staffs kept on convincing you to do treatments and buy skincare products you did not need or bad for your current skin conditions! She damaged my skin and those damages are permanent. Don’t waste your time and your money for this spa! It should be closed!

I am a 63 year old male who had grown accustomed to the unsightly skin tags that had developed around my left eye, around my neck and the most troublesome under both arm pits. Love the Green Peel treatment. I highly recommend this place for any questions about skin improvement. I had some darker skin pigmentations under my eye for over a decade thinking they would fade eventually. Went as far as to going to the wrong dermatologists and barley now after this treatment its beginning to fade away. Im very satisfied and will come back for further treatment.

Been coming to Amys for a few years now and I totally love how clean the place is! The atmosphere is very relaxing and soothing!

My esthetician was Wendy. She was a very nice lady however my facial was horrible. My face was worse when I left. I had breakouts & Cuts. The cuts came from the derma planning service I added to my facial. She derma planned my face dry without any cream, gel or oil. My friend and I both went and STILL had to extract our own pimples immediately post facial. Our facials werent worth 200+ Dollars.

I came in without an appointment looking to get an estimate on a skin tag removal and was greeted by Tricia who is super friendly and professional amy and her staff were so pleasantly welcoming took me in although they had an appointment at 11 coming in and explained to me what I had and what she could do to remove it I felt like I was in good hands so I went ahead with the procedure and it was so fast!!! It did hurt a little but amy and wendy helped me through the process the whole time and I forgot about the pain and shortly after I was finished!!! I loved my experience and would definitely recommend anyone and everyone to come by for all services offered here at amy’s!!!

Finally, after going through multiple laser treatments and no results. I decided to give Amy a chance and my experience had been awesome. Results are great. Amy is a blessing for me!!!

I went to see Rozita for a microderm facial and I have to say it was AMAZING! I go to 5 star resorts and this is 6 stars! When I entered the Spa I was greeted with smiles, the owner was there and she was so welcoming and informative of all the services they offer. The Spa is very well decorated and gave a very cozy and comfortable feel. I am very particular on who works on my face and I have to say I trust Rozita to take care of me. She was very gentle during the facial and listened to all of my concerns. I recommend Rozita and will be returning.

Love going to Amy’s for a quick pampering. Everyone there is very friendly. Amy’s has a lot of different services to offer. I enjoy the Micro/Oxygen facial the most that Amy does.

My daughter was seen by Amy and a microderm-oxy facial was recommended. We paid 160$ for an oxymicro facial. On the way home we realized my daughter did not receive the microderm part of the facial. When I called to ask the receptionist she said maybe the anesthetician changed the plan but the cost of our facial was the same. The staff was professional and the clinic was clean. I think maybe staff confusion was an issue. Make sure you get what you pay for.

First time here, I saw Wendy. I could tell she had been doing this a long time. Her technique was fantastic and was careful to focus on the areas that I had problems with. I had back and hip issues from excessive golf (excessive golf is never a problem) and she made sure to work those areas out. I highly recommend.

Walking in I had really bad inflamed acne and super dark acne spots. I hated my skin. I ended up buying the green peel package and after 6 months I completely love my skin. After one week of the treatment alone my skin had already improved dramatically. Thank you so much Amy.

They never told me that they dont do refunds so I ended up losing.8/27/20 you probably got rid of my paperwork but i was there, yes this happened at Amys and I spoke directly with Amy. I was a customer who received a treatment maybe 10 years ago. for one of the body cellulite reduction treatment, the treatment designated time was 60 minutes but they totally forgot about me and I fell asleep and woke up one hour and 30 minutes later and had to call the front office to remind them of my presence !! LOL. I had another bad experience with them but too sleepy to type

Amy is all about money and sales. Has 50% knowledge about skin or the product she sells. Has 100% knowledge on how to pressure you to buy her overpriced products using sales tactics. Don’t waste your money, I’d suggest looking for better rates somewhere else If you’re not a millionaire.

Electrolysis saved my life!!! I started growing facial hair at the age of 12. I thought I was abnormal. When I entered High School, my self image declined drastically. I can recall hot summer months, I would either carry a scarf around my neck, wear a jacket with collars so that I can hide my neck, chin and side burn area. Each year that I was getting older, my facial hair were getting more out of control. I shared with my mother, but she did not know what to do for me except to shave it. The shaving was worse as it caused me to grow a beard. I was actually looking like a man. I found myself shaving, if not daily, at least every other day. The shaving caused discolorations on my skin. I find myself hiding from people during day light, not liking to be around others too close so that they would not look into my face. When I got into a relationship with my husband, I would not allow him to touch my face when it was time for him to kiss me as it would cause me so much embarrassment.Then turned into waxing. I thought I found the cure. Waxing would remove the hair from the roots and made my skin feel smooth, but the problem was even worse because more hair would grow and more discolorations. I tried laser and it also left more discolorations on my face and still was not able to get rid of the light color hair that I had on my face. With laser, waxing, shaving, the hair grew back. I did not know what to do until one day I found an Electrolysis, Ms. Maria September, 2015.Ms. Maria consulted my skin and reassured me that she can help me. Immediately, I felt relieved at the age of 50, that I can actually become hair free of facial hair. She was very honest, up front and provided a treatment plan for me. Electrolysis is not a short term process, but it is the only procedure to got rid of my unwanted hair. I was dedicated to do my part. I started going two times per week for several weeks from September, 2015 to December, 2015. As the regrowth of the hair became less, my need to go twice a week to once a week in January 2016 until March of 2016. Now, I am scheduled once every two weeks, started from 1-1/2 hour to 30 minutes per visit. I am so grateful to Maria, my Electrolysis who has changed my life. I am more confident now with my skin. I feel beautiful with soft skin. I no longer need a scarf around my neck or to hide my face in the presence of others. As a nurse practitioner working in the health care field, I can actually say that Electrolysis is the best way to get rid of unwanted hair as it kills the hair follicles from the roots. So stop plucking with tweezers, stop shaving, stop waxing or using laser that will discolor your skin. I advise you to try Electrolysis that will change your life and self image.
