Came here for a quality craft cocktail in a town with generic bars and we werent disappointed! 6 friends had Old Fashions, Ya Mon, So Fresh & So Clean and the ultimate, a Last Word. All were expertly made and delicious.

What a blast this place was. Really fun people to be with.This is a bartenders bar. Bartender was very knowledgeable and they specialize in special drinks like Manhattan’s. A number of very good sweet vermouth’s to choose from.Come here for a great non-cowboy experience. Not that there’s anything wrong with that! (Seinfeld)With tip, we spent about $100 for two but we drank quite a few special drinks! LOLDidn’t have food, so no rating

These guys know how to pour a cocktail! We ended up chatting with the owner, Josh, and learning they were originally connected to death & Co. in New York - which makes sense. Incredibly impressed with the service, the drinks, and the ambience… Will definitely be back.

We had a great Old Fashioned at the Rose. Friendly bartender and good music. Changed my mind in one sip! And the cheapestCraft cocktail you will find in JH.

Read previous reviews that they were known for their whiskey tasting. Went up to the bar and asked for an old fashion to try one of their top shelf whiskies. Bartender goes I dont have enough time for you to make a cocktail, pick something else... Im sorry but what?? Im pretty sure youre supposed to provide something youre known for?

Pool table was awesome. My husband and I played for hours. The bartender brought us old Fashions and they were fabulous! Thank you so much for such a fine and fun evening!

Seems to be under new ownership as of June 2023; we were the first to see their full menu! Mark talked with me a few minutes to find the right sip for me. Our House Old Fashioned and Gin de Vine were tasty, but it was a bit warm in the bar for us to enjoy another round.Looks like a cool place with lots of room, music videos playing on the TVs, and I think a spot for live music as well.

Really good people that run a tight ship. Excellent after hour scene with good DJs arrival a little early and play some pool before the party gets started!

The Rose as fun as the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, nor did it have as much personality, but it does stay open 1hr later. The DJ was subpar, playing bizarre remixes that no one in my large group could follow or jive to, but this bar did have AC which makes a huge difference in the middle of July. Cover charge was annoying…

The drinks are amazing! I was stunned to have such amazing drinks as I had not expected it to be of this level. Special shoutout to Sahar! She was an amazing host and bartender and was beyond kind!

Sort of sketchy vibe. A bouncer was monitoring people going in and out of the bathroom. I’ve never seen that before which to me was indicative of this place drawing a rough crowd or something odd..? I value safety but the amount of security at this small-medium sized bar seemed a bit strange… Regardless, it was nice to find a place that was open later as most establishments around town seemed to close on the earlier side.

The bar had chill vibes, super friendly bartenders and staff. Definitely a great spot for good cocktails. It was reasonably priced as well.

They make the best espresso martini I’ve ever had, the vibe is cool, and the waiter was pretty attentive despite it being busy. Definitely a good place to hit up when in Jackson!

The bouncers told me I couldnt wear sunglasses. I told them that it helps with my anxiety when being in crowded places. They didnt care, citing security reasons(?).Never been told I couldnt wear certain clothing other than in a bank, TSA, or government area, due to legit security reasons.Other reasons for 1 star has happened in the past.This town deserves better.

Without a doubt one of the most fun and professional nightclubs I have ever been to. From Sal/Juana/Olivia/Lillian/ and Mark. The team is stacked with welcoming and smiling professionals. Sincerely impressed. Shout out to DJ Also Starring and anyone else I failed to mention by name!

Look no further for craftsmanship! It was our first visit and per other reviews it appears this place is under new ownership. We couldn’t ask for more pleasant nor knowledgeable staff. They went out of their way to come up with a unique drink for my wife based on her specs, which followed the excellent specialty cocktails with which we started. We met some cool people at the bar with whom we had lively conversation and had a great overall experience. Thanks for starting off our evening with a great time👍

A throwback to a speakeasy with dark wallpaper and picture frame TVs. Its dark but not shady in any way, the staff is incredible, Drew was the best bartender of the entire trip. The drinks run from high end mixed cocktails to the brown bag special where you pick a number 1-4 and you get a shot from whatever is in the bag for $3. It was a risky game but ended up with a shot of some really nice scotch. Drew explained the scotch and it was a great $3 lesson. With a visit for anyone traveling through.

The Rose is known for having the best cocktails in Jackson, and that is definitely not true. The cocktails arent bad, but they arent very impressive either. FIGS has WAY better cocktails and only costs $1-$2 more, with the added bonus of incredible Lebanese food. The service at The Rose is good, the bartenders were very friendly. Unfortunately the ambience was wrecked by some really raunchy hiphop music, and this is coming from a woman who has an extensive rap and hiphop collection having lived in that culture for several years. The music didnt even fit the atmosphere, so it was odd too. We will be back, but I would only come here to end my evening on the town.

Really great spot. Drinks were creative and delicious. I enjoyed the retro music videos playing on the tv. The bartender was really friendly. Will absolutely be back next time were in town.

Huge fan of The Rose! The drinks are incredible, my favorite is the Sandia Picante. Munchies (the food) is so good – I love the ability to have bar food that’s late night. The DJs are always playing fun music, and the atmosphere feels like you’re in the heart of NYC right here in Jackson!

For starters there wasnt any food offered but the drinks were amazing. I was visiting here celebrating my sisters wedding and had the greatest time. Drinks music and atmosphere was a 5 star wedding experience for me.

I recently had the displeasure of visiting The Rose, a supposedly trendy club that prides itself on providing a fun and inclusive environment. However, my experience there was nothing short of a nightmare. Not only did I encounter rude and unprofessional staff, but I was unjustly kicked out for an incident that was beyond my control.Let me set the scene: I was minding my own business, enjoying a night out with friends, when disaster struck. Out of nowhere, a completely insecure individual accidentally threw his drink all over me from across the dance floor. Now, accidents happen, and I was willing to brush it off as a simple mistake. However, instead of addressing the situation with maturity and professionalism, the staff at The Rose decided to turn a blind eye to this blatant act of disrespect.To make matters worse, the person responsible for the spill was reportedly around 4 foot 2, which seemed to be the only reason the staff overlooked his actions. Apparently, height is a free pass to cause chaos without any consequences at The Rose. This blatant favoritism and disregard for customer satisfaction is appalling.Rather than offering assistance, compensation, or even an apology for the inconvenience caused, the clubs bouncers decided that I was the problem. They approached me, completely ignoring the actual perpetrator, and without any explanation, forcibly escorted me out of the club.It is deeply disheartening to see a supposedly reputable establishment like The Rose fail so miserably at handling such a simple incident. Their lack of accountability and unfair treatment of customers is a clear indication of their disregard for professionalism and customer satisfaction.I would caution anyone considering visiting The Rose to think twice. If youre looking for a club that values respect, customer service, and fairness, I strongly advise you to steer clear of this establishment. There are plenty of other venues in town that will treat you with the dignity and respect you deserve, unlike The Rose.

Amazing cocktails and a nice liquor selection. The place is on par with New York cocktail bars like Employees Only and PDT. Unfortunately they don’t serve any food here right now, plus the space is a little bit large and they had a couple of big groups that really diminished the ambiance

I was Recently RACIAL PROFIED by the Not so “Professional bouncer” Because I was dancing with a Caucasian girl that I believe that the bouncer had a crush on. I also was under the impression that the owner was on some kind of substance. THE PROFESSIONALISM IS A VERY BIG DISAPPOINTMENTI NEED FOOTAGE.

Great bar maybe trying a little too hard. Loved the wild turkey old fashioned, could have done without the cardamom, but still great.

Staff is AMAZING. Great group of people in the bar. Later evening(10pm) unfortunately turned a bit sketchy one of the two nights we were here.Cocktails are great. Management, event manager and staff were all easy going, fun and energetic. They make you feel extremely welcome and want you to have a good time.Really nice spot. Cool booths, wallpaper, art and chandelier. Would highly recommend for early evening, low key, cocktail spot.

I called the venue this past Saturday on the way back from my wedding venue in a panic because my guests unexpectedly wanted to keep the party going. Micky and our waitress were awesome! They had extra space in VIP and reserved it for us. 45 minutes later we were at the venue, seated, and drinks in hand. We had a great time!

This place will steal your card and illegally charge it - they did it to me. I have heard many horror stories about locals and tourists being drugged as well (just look at the reviews). It is a tourist and overall trap. Please be careful. Watch out for Lillian the bartender and Marc the owner. They will scam you.

My time at this bar was going okay I thought till the bouncer of the bar could have been respectful and do his job but wanted to be a Racist and try to put my friend out because he was talking to a Caucasian women who we believed the bouncer liked or had a crush on to act out in such a disrespectful manner after the bouncer and my brother stop talking I started dancing to the DJ music I thought everyone let it go till we was surrounded my three police officers saying we are here for two Black guys with cowboy hats took us outside took our IDs and Banned us from property Racial Profiling nobody did nothing wrong the Bouncer used his Authority to the highest power he knew being a Racist this will be resolved higher people I know and everyone around the world will know what happens at The Rose Bar in Jackson Wyoming

The folks making the drinks behind the bar are true mixologists. Talked with the owner for a while, and hes a great guy and very knowledgeable on mixing cocktails.

Went in here for the first time last night in almost a year and was charged a $20 cover which I felt was high even for a holiday weekend. I get that this is the only place in Jackson that stays open till 2 am at least on the weekends which is nice and I can understand why they may want to have a cover but I feel a $5 or $10 max cover would be more appropriate. I do like that the beer prices were about in line with the other place and did like that it was packed and the crowd was chill

Walked in to 8 people inside. We had a party of 15 and were immediately told to pay a $10 cover. Inside, our friends put their coats in a corner of the bar and were told they had to pay to have the coats checked if they wanted to take them off. When we were offered a table for “only $500”, everyone who overhead the offer laughed and over 20 people left.Simply put, this is not where you want to waste your time when visiting Jackson.

Looking for an energy packed evening of entertainment. We saw Lulla Blue and the place ROCKED. Great musicians all around and a show that was well worth it. Two drink minimum but thats loosely enforced. Everyone our night stayed well beyond the two drinks because it was fantastic!

I stopped in this bar knowing it was a “posh” bar and would be undoubtedly filled with folks of the like. My expectations were low from the start, but was hoping for a stiff drink to make it better. Three of us came in with hopes of a good drink, first a simple Jack and Coke - only Pepsi products so the Pepsi was sufficient. I ordered a shot of Fireball back, and was told they were out of Fireball and had been out for nearly a week. Disappointing on whoever does the ordering, but oh well. A friend ordered a Kahlua cream and Coke - again no Coke, but Pepsi is sufficient, however they didn’t carry cream or anything of the sort so it was settled on a simple Screwdriver. We sat in the bar for about an hour waiting on drinks, a cocktail waiter was great about keeping our drinks fresh, however the attitude left much to the imagination. After a while I had gotten up to approach the bar for another beverage and was told we had already passed last call - we did not hear this and when brought to the bartenders attention he offered that it was only told to folks at the actual bar and not a table; fine, I completely understand we didn’t hear it, however his choice of remedy was to offer free shots to the table, which only one person wanted. He quickly told me that the shot he was providing was typically $18 per shot, completely taken aback when I seen him pouring Midori. This bar seems to be more of a place to drink craft beers and any one else looking for a “simple” drink should move on. Pricing is also very excessive and not at all worth it for the very light hands at work.

Advertised as a cocktail bar but its a pathetic attempt at a club. Drinks are supposed to be from Death & Co in NYC but their execution leaves a lot to be desired. Management took our bar stools at 10:45 to make more room for people ordering shots.Also the bouncers just stood in the way of the front door taking to each other, dont acknowledge you trying to enter, and make you push past them to get out.

Best bar, not just in Jackson, but in all of Wyoming!!! Great atmosphere, music, bartenders & drinks. The drinks are so inventive and well thought out. Apparently all their juices are fresh squeezed and they make a lot of their syrups and stuff. You can tell! Great place 👍

This place will charge you for drinks that you did not receive nor ordered!We had gone here to grab a few drink for our friends 30th birthday party. They had forced us to set up a tab when we ordered our first drinks. By the time we were ready to leave, we closed out the tab. They had just brought us a receipt of ran amount ($175) after only ordering 6 old fashions made with Wild Turkey.I then went up to the bar to get an itemized check to see what we were charged for. They had charged us for 10 shouts that we did not order! The bartender had stated that he would change the tab for the correct amount that was ordered. But that was not the case. We were over charged for drinks that were not ordered and were not taken by us. Please DO NOT get scammed like we did!

The friends of the manager are more important than people spending $$$ drinking. I went to the Rose for the first time tonight to drink with a friend and a friend of the manager’s started a fight with my friend while we were trying to enjoy a night out together. We ended up leaving first just to not deal with the drama but a bartender told us “he gets drunk a lot” and he was able to stay. We tipped 30% and left. I tried calling to follow up. No answer after four dead end calls.

Expectations are everything. Past 7 this turns into a college bar. Not bad drinks - but not good for the price. Most bars in Jackson will outperform the drinks here. Plus there’s 5 tables. Otherwise you’ll stand (like a college bar). Service is a 3/5. Neon lights and disco on constantly. If you’re young and want nightlife - this might be the place for you. However, for the rest of y’all - I’d recommend all other bars and restaurants, where you’ll be able to sit and talk. Otherwise expect a crowd where your standing and getting bumped against

I had guests in town and took them to The Rose. We had been drinking cocktails at a table for about 30 minutes when an event manager with his arm in a sling approached us and said contemptuously that we were dirtying up his linens and he made a show of brushing off some imaginary dirt with his hand as he said it. Apparently the table was reserved for someone else, but there was no sign and it was not in the roped off area. We would have happily moved if he simply said the table was reserved. There was no need for his attitude and rudeness. I will not be taking my out of town guests here ever again.

I arrived in Jackson Hole around 9pm on Tuesday September 8 2020. I decided to hopefully have a drink around 10pm at your establishment and after several guys together were rushing to get into the place and they had to wait on a table. I asked I’m just one person wanting a drink and gave my ID to the host and he said just a moment to help me. I waited for a bit long and just stepped into the seating area(two steps) and the host said you need to wait where You were told. I wasn’t near anyone to not be social distancing or in anyone’s way. I decided that for one person not to be able to be taken care of quickly, with open high top tables not seated I would leave the establishment to maybe try it another time. After going down the stairs the host thought he would walk outside and tell me to have a nice day very sarcastically. I think it was totally uncalled for to respond it this manner. I hope this is not a regular practice for your high end establishment. I have been in the Industry for over 18 years in every position. I would like a response to my experience and hopefully I will try your establishment in the future.

We stumbled on this place while we were in search of drinks for the evening. They have an incredibly affordable happy hour, and you can order in pizza from Pinkys which is downstairs. Our service was excellent, drinks were great, overall our favorite spot in Jackson!

Interesting bar. Up stairs so not handicap accessible, unless there is an elevator I missed seeing. The wine selection isnt good, but the staff was friendly. And the atmosphere different then most of the other Jackson bars.

Pretty cheap, only place open when we wanted a drink. Very creative take on our favorite stuff, the only problem was that they were not worth drinking. Not sure if it was just the bartender that night, but it seemed like they were trying too hard. The place had a great vibe & nice music, though.

Our 3rd time here. Our first time last year we didn’t have a great experience, our 2nd time last year was better, and then last night was amazing. Drew was our bartender and was fantastic. Super interesting guy who made fantastic drinks for all four of us. Tequila sour was the best I’ve ever had.If it’s crowded, it can be a long wait to get a drink (not because they’re slow, but because they truly take the time to mix phenomenal drinks), but we’ve found going a bit earlier in the night is the perfect way to have a conversation with your bartender, learn about their drinks, and enjoy a quieter vibe.All in all, definitely worth a try and do yourself a favor and ask for Drew!

My favorite bar in Jackson. Craft cocktails made by talented and friendly staff who care. Food is excellent when available. Great live music year round upstairs in the Pink Garter. Pinky Gs Pizza down below. Open late year round, a fine spot to drink with friends.

My wife and I stopped in here on our way through Jackson and had a great time. The drinks and atmosphere were top notch, very much an upscale cocktail lounge and the prices reflected it ($10-14 per drink). If youre in the area and looking for a great cocktail I would recommend making this your first and last stop.

Nice local spot!The didn’t serve any food (not sure if they stop serving after a certain time) staff were friendly, customer service was great and drinks were reasonably priced.We paid $112 for 8 cocktails not including tip.It turned into a club kind of vibe after 10pm which was cool but It was a little weird that they had scooby doo playing in the background 😂

Nice bar, but cocktails are too fancy and overpriced. There is usually not a lot of people here and each drink other than shots takes a while to make because they have a lot going on with it. Not a bad place but come here for dancing it the theatre, not the bar. But they do service industry nights on Tuesday where drinks are cheap and the pool table is free all night, so thats nice. 3.5 stars at least sometimes 4.

Worst bar ever. The bouncers were so rude to my family and friends. The service was awful, so slow, and served drinks in plastic cups. The bartender Chad was condescending, and the drink I ordered tasted cheap. Overall a terrible experience. The decor and music is outdated and the people who come here rolled their eyes at us saving a table for our friends.

Great cocktail speakeasy tucked away in the Jackson Hole streets. Honestly, all the cocktails are delicious and please let the bartender/mixologist make something off menu if possible. He made me this wonderful coffee scotch based drink and it was unlike anything Ive tasted before. As a matter of fact, all of the drinks he made were otherworldly. If youre in Jackson Hole and in the mood for some great and unique drinks- visit the rose! 🌹

‘Gin & Juicy’ drink was great, unsure what vibe they’re going for in a western tourist town. Ska music, dark lit with vintage styling and had the movie Inception playing on projectors.. felt like a try hard Seattle hipster cocktail bar.

This is everyone’s happy place beside cowboy bar hehe. Honestly been here for every week to party with friends and they are so accommodating and I love the most their manager Page! She is the best always say’s Hi and welcome you! The best place to party too! Always!

The Rose seemed like a local watering hole and was an absolute blast!Bartenders were nice and helpful although they were completely packed. Half bar, half club, definitely stop in for a good time.

The drinks were beautifully crafted. It seems like a hidden gem. When we went it was super slow ,only like 5 people in there. They just have to promote this place a bit more. Then again, when we went it was slow season.

After waiting for more than thirty minutes (gabbing with my friend) and three staff walking past is over and over again, my friend asked if they were open. We were the only ones there. The bartender - a tall guy with a ponytail - responded yes so we asked if we could order something. He said, “You have to order at the bar. Does it look like I am wearing a cocktail apron?” We left. He snarked after us, “Have a great night, ladies!”

All the cocktail ingredients are made in house, the cocktails are usually delicious unless you try venturing really far outside your own co.fort zone, would definitely recommend after getting some slices downstairs in Pinky Gs because this place usually does not serve food

Friends in Jackson Hole- be sure to catch dinner here as this is certainly one of my favorite places to dine! Rene, an amazing master at the art of food, has a unique European style threaded throughout his creations. The menu is seasonal and the food is carefully prepared to separate each distinct flavor. The beef is aged to perfection and the flavors are just right as not to overpower one another throughout the meal. We ended with buttermilk ice cream with mint oil that is truly an explosion of flavor! I feel like I just found a hidden foodie paradise!

Manager screamed in my face for asking if he could replace my 3 WARM beers I got served. Totally warm out of a box. Mickey is he’s name so rude. Insulted me and wanted to “kick my ass”

Super awesome staff and a killer vibe to boot. If your in Jackson Hole, definitely a great spot for nightlife. (The pizza downstairs is also stellar)

We love the rose. Zach is one of my favorite bartenders of all time. The drinks are delicious and strong. Good luck remembering your name. Bonus points if you dont forget anything else.

I Wish i would of taken my friend to the hospital because i strongly believe she was drugged at this bar. I wasnt drinking and after 3 drinks she was wasted, keep in mind she is a person who can hold her liquor. Please be very careful here and if you suspect something go to the hospital! This was very scary because she was out of it. Unfortunately i cant prove anything but i wish i could!!!

I love the concept of an Old-Fashioned cocktail bar. The atmosphere was delightfully eclectic. Unfortunately they werent able to offer several of the drinks that I asked for.

I was planning on writing a 5-star review but then I saw the huge sign in the window :-( I came here last night and had an amazing Old Fashioned - one of the best Ive ever had. The bartender (cant remember his name) was excellent. I was planning on coming back the next two nights but then I saw the sign. In the front window is a HUGE sign espousing a laundry list of political opinions. When I go out to have a cocktail, I dont want to be preached to. Sorry, but keep your politics out of the cocktails.

Ive been coming to the rose for a couple of years. Most of the time its been a good experience. Last night though there was a bouncer there that was really rude and aggressive. Im a local Chef and most of the staff recognize me when I come in and they are friendly. After the way that guy acted, you lost my buisness.

Horrible service. And inaccurate description of what they offer. No take out. When I asked if they were still doing takeout for the evening the waitress told me that they were a bar and asked if I wanted to booze to go. If Im asking if your kitchen is open Im not interested in booze, idiot.

Fun atmosphere, really enjoyed the hostess who was dancing around all night! All the staff had great attitude considering all the restrictions. Tasty drinks!

Pricy drinks but a very unique style of bar. Classy booths to sit in and quite enough to have an actual conversation in. The only downfall when we were there is the place had the heat turned up a little high.

Disrespectful of the place. We were trying to dance and they kept trying to interfere. Some of the guys said really mean things when we were just trying to have fun. If you want to make out with your girlfriend then get a room. Dont blame it on innocent guests.

The Rose is an outstanding cocktail lounge that provides quality, accurately poured cocktails. They arent the cheapest, but they make amazing classics that are de-licious.

The rose tries to be fancy with their drinks but they fail to deliver... Ive been in there numerous times in The Taste is always off. I would go to The Rustic Inn for a real drink any day😉

I was in the rose this past weekend. There I witnessed a minor/underager get served a shot. I also seen a security person take a shot while working. I do have video of this!

This bar was a horrible experience. Rude staff, rude patrons, horrible drinks and horrible music. The bartender had a condescending attitude to me and my family and the overall vibe is a 0/10. Never come here!!! Management take note and make some changes.

The Rose is a gem of a bar. Fantastic cocktails and great service. Our bartender Michael was the best!

This is one of the worst places i’ve ever been. The manager is so disrespectful, instead of trying to fix the bad service he turns violent. I’ll never go back again until they change managers. 0/5

The Manhattan I ordered was top notch however they only offer single ply toilet paper in their restrooms, which ended up being problematic.

It was okay, nothing to write home about and it was a bit overpriced. I spent $18 on a drink and watched him make it with simple syrup and gin

If you want to enjoy a night of good cocktails and different music The Rose is your place, on Fridays and Saturdays they have a cover of $5 (locals) and $10 (visitors) and it is worth paying for them since they have a live DJ and on Sundays it is special because its only Latin music. Their cocktails are special and different, I love the Spacy Watermelon 🍉, their bartenders are friendly and very professional and the security is unique. The atmosphere of the place is very pleasant and spacious to dance and enjoy, and the best thing is that it is the only place in Jackson where you can enjoy the rumba until 2 am and then... sleep off your hangover!!

Good club to have fun, variety of cocktails, also good on weekends, they just dont let you enter with an INE credential, only a passport 😌

A very fun bar, in winter the best days to go are Sundays, it is very full and has good music but the bar is always busy, I recommend buying the cocktail when you get to the place, if you like Latin music, on Thursdays you can go to dance salsa or bachata, you will have a lot of fun, on Saturdays there is live music and you can move as you want, there are a little less people.

They treated me absolutely horrible. I have heard horror stories about this place and sadly I ignored them. TERRIBLE service and the manager really doesnt understand what hes doing working there. They dont know how to treat people, much less Latin people sadly. Not recommended to go at all.
