Had a 90 min deep tissue massage with May and it was incredible. Came in with knots and pain and feel so much better. This place is amazing, they have last minute appointments and affordable. I am not sure why others are commenting about tipping issue. I didn’t face any such issue. I paid cash. No issues with language or asking for more or less pressure either.Also not to mention they offer free hot stone therapy which is amazing. Most places offer it as an add on for $20 or more.The place itself is super clear and comforting.Only feedback I have is that the sheets they use to cover you are kinda thin and it gets cold in there. Most spas have heavier sheet or blankets. (Or it’s me. )Overall amazing! Definitely give it a try. Ask for May!!

I highly recommend this place. The lady was professional and skilled. I had pain that lasted several weeks prior to visiting the this place, even though I would go to my local regular chiropractor office. Now I feel relaxed and satisfied They did a wonderful job, worth every penny . 💯

I love this place! The foot/leg massage…amazing and so relaxing. As for the regular back and full body massages- I’ve only done a chair massage (fabulous) but my friends who get them say they are excellent too. Easy to make an appointment. Very friendly staff. Clean environment. 100% recommend!!

Very Friendly staff! Very low key environment and not a lot of fluff. Walk-in last minute massages. First time to experience “The hot stones” they were an amazing touch to the massage, and the oil was nice and warm. They recommend a 30% gratuity but not required. However, it is worth the tip. I know we all may not have the money but I think it will be ok if you can’t pay the recommendation. We received the 60 minute massage which was $70 (cash) and $80 (credit card). Try it and enjoy!

Great massage! Best deep tissue massage I’ve gotten and loved the hot stones. Good for a last minute appointment and staff is very friendly. Keep in mind you will need to tip 30%. I got a one hour massage with hot stones and hot towel for $80. I’d recommend to the business owner to put service fees on the website and maybe a way to book appointments online 😊

Long summary short, beware! This place can hurt you more than it can benefit you.When I went the first time, the masseuse pulled my muscle so that all my left leg swelled, and I couldnt bend my leg. After a couple of weeks of research on why this is happening and the root of this problem, I called them and told them that their massage is causing this problem. I requested if they charge 50% of their minimum time and massage one muscle, that is the root of problem seems to be reasonable. The manager would not budge. He offered a 30min massage himself. I gave it a shot. During these 30minutes he took three calls and was away for more than 5minutes and at the end of massage he demanded 20% tip. I cant recommend this place.Also they request more than 30% tip.Take risk at your own will, I cant recommend this business.

This little oasis is so nice. My wife has never been to a massage spa, so she was very nervous and had a little anxiety. But the spa made her feel really comfortable as soon as she walked in. They took us in the same day appointment, even text to verify they appointment. Not a while lot of choices for couples massage in Jacksonville but we are glad we found this little gem. The place is very clean, they very professional and it feels like youve just walked into a country club. Bonus they offer a very nice cash discount so stop by the ATM on your way, you can thank me later.

Been going to this place a few times and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The staff are corteous and highly skilled in both deep tissue and therapeutic massage. I have tried many places here in Jax but this is by far the best experience I had.

First time traveling to Florida and found thismassage store with exceptional service. The price was very fair and I will be back next time when I have the chance!

They have a sign asking you to tip over 30%. Service is generic and they use tactics to make you feel compelled to tip. If you want to get gaslit and ugly service go here.

I left my stress behind once I walked away. Very relaxing and peaceful environment. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We did a couples massage. I highly recommend.

A+ for massage (great one by Andy!) and comfort of the rooms. He was strong (I requested deep tissue), intuitively knew the areas I needed more work (and provided a lot of relief as a result), was focused, and had a really nice relaxing flow to his work. Way exceeded my expectations for a walk in spot.C for portions of the business model. People will accept a 3% or so customary surcharge when using credit cards but $10 is a lot. And posting an expectation of 30% or more for tips just isn’t palatable for most people and makes the customer experience really awkward. I appreciate posting a reminder that tipping is customary and appreciated. But I’d rather have the flat rate be a few dollars higher than be put in the position to make sure the therapists are getting a fair wage. Also it’s the only massage I’ve ever had where there wasn’t an intake process to discuss any existing conditions or special needs. With some of the therapists limited in their English, it seems extra important to be able to have a way to communicate any medical conditions or aches and pains. I hope, with some tweaks, the business prospers and flourishes. There really are soooo many good ingredients already in place. And I’d personally go back! But I think some of these other ingredients will run customers off if not changed up a bit.

Just what I needed! I was given this surprise as a Mothers Day gift and boy am I glad I came! Jack was my massus. He was absolutely amazing!!!! I don’t go anywhere else for a massage! I do the deep tissue massage for an hour and I have extremely crunchy shoulders. When I leave I feel like a new person! Be mindful, a deep tissue is not meant to feel relaxing it’s meant to break up the knots. They offer relaxing massages too! Make sure you know what you are getting into.

5 stars for Andy but he needs to leave. The management is hurting his business. Charging the clients $10 to use a credit card when the law restricts fees from banking institutions at 1.5 % that’s $1.20. Then there’s a big sign suggesting 30% tip. My mother owned her massage studio for 25 yrs was well tipped and never asked for a tip. It’s considered poor business practice to post how much you should tip. I won’t be back and will never suggest this place. I’ve been getting professional massages for over 40 years. Run Andy run far away. FYI in FL there is NO sales tax on massages. If you collect it needs to be paid back to the USA goverment.

The best 90 minute massage Ive ever had. Plus the hot stones, back walking, and medicine oil are free. Ive been several places and they all charge for the hot stones and back walking. Plus the prices are outrageously cheap. 60 mins for $70; 90 mins for $100. I had Lee Lee and she will be my go too person. Couples massages are $140 for 60 mins. This will be my next massage. The location is clean and everyone was very professional.

10/10 Anna did an amazing job. I came for a deep tissue massage for pain in my neck and lower back, she focused on those areas and helped with the pain, I feel so much better. I will definitely be coming back, I highly recommend point massage to anyone who is in need of a massage!

I hope that some people with conscience will not help the evil. This unscrupulous shopkeeper actually charges ten yuan per person for swiping the card. This is the first time I have encountered such a thing. I went to a one-hour massage with my husband, and the card fee for two people Charged $20 and will never come back, charged in disguise.

Tom and Sophia were great. The schedule was accommodating for us. The atmosphere was peaceful and we liked the stones and hot towels. We have been several times and follow the 30% tip suggestion as expected since it is stated. The only complaint is Sophia has to answer the phone which distracts from the massage she is great and this isn’t her fault. They need someone to answer the phone that would help the problem. We will be back.

Im reviewing this on behalf of my husband for whom I had booked a massage here. Massage was okay but the worst part is they force you for certain amount as a tip. Tip is something I would give as per my satisfaction but staff here was very very forceful for more than some X amount. Disappointed. Would not return or recommend.Reply on owners response-In that case you should be really checking your staff. They were very very forceful to my husband. When I say forceful I mean it. All the smile at the beginning went away when he have his desired tip. Very unprofessional. There are 2 other reviews with the same experience.

I have been getting monthly massages for years - from chains to smaller establishments to licensed individuals. Point Massage has easily become my favorite place to go for a massage. For this reason, I cancelled my membership with Hand and Stone.H&S does a good job giving this oasis-like feel, but thats about it for me. I dont seek a massage to admire the layout. When I ask for deep tissue, for example, I expect to be on the brink of tears (in an it hurts so good kind of way). Sometimes, Ill get a good therapist with H&S, but Im just as likely to get someone who will charge me for the deep tissue but not deliver. Point Massage gives me exactly what I ask for every single time. I usually see Jack, and hes phenomenal. The staff overall are welcoming, pleasant, and very accommodating.The prices are competitive considering everything thats included - the massage itself, stretching, hot stones, and so in. And--you get the full time you requested.The layout of the establishment is simple, clean, quiet, comfortable, and 100% perfect for someone who just wants a good massage. As other reviews mentioned, there is a bit of a language barrier but that hasnt hindered my experience.Im really glad I found this place.

I called day of and they had available appointments, so that was great. However, I did feel like there was a lack of privacy at this location. I have never felt uncomfortable during a massage, but during this one I did feel quite uneasy at times. I had a couples massage. So there were two workers in the room I was receiving my massage in. When it was time to roll on to my back, my masseuse lifted the thin sheet completely in the air without warning me, and I was laying on the table with my full chest out in the open for the other masseuse to see. I have never experienced so much lack of privacy during a massage and after this I was counting down the minutes until my massage was over. Also, like other reviews have said. We tried to give a 20% tip. I didn’t feel like they deserved more since I left feeling so uneasy about my experience. Then the lady at the countered tapped on a piece of paper that stated “tip 30%” and she said “that is not 30%” then proceeded to stare at my husband and I until we changed our tip to 30%. I simply do not agree with the practices here, and will not be returning.

Just left my first massage here and am feeling so insanely good. By far the best, most unique and purely blissful 90 min massage service. I had Jack and he was professional, making sure I was comfortable throughout. He massaged literally every inch of me including my head and face. I was cracking as he stretched me and I kept thinking I was so glad I got 90 min instead of an hour! I have been hesitant to go to new places. Pointe had such good reviews I immediately booked my appointment after reading them. This really is a 5 star experience once you are on the heated bed. Thanks Sofia for opening this place and employing technicians like Jack who exert great physical effort to ensure the most comprehensive massage ever. I get massages pretty frequently and do a lot of traveling and this was by far my best experience! Jack did a phenomenal job and was very thorough! Was just the right pressure and the atmosphere was very pleasant! Highly recommend if youre in the Jacksonville area!

I don’t even know where to start..the only part I don’t get is why are they begging customers for tips? I had the best massage today, like honestly the best in a long time. Then all of the sudden the masseuse asked me to give him a good tip at check out because he only works for tips. So as I was checking out and included tips in the bill, he looked at the receipt I signed and says “ no no no.. can you add more ?” Omg! Like why do you beg for tips. Tips are paid based on performance, not based on begging for it. He was doing such a good job and I even thought to myself “ this guy earned some good tips today”.. but when he started to beg for it and at the end asked for even more, I just had to walk out. This is very unprofessional. I only have one advice for the guy: you are good at what you do, and if the owner only pays you what you earn in tips only, then you better run away from that place. Such a shameResponse to the owner!You do not beg customers for tips. I always tip! But when someone asks you for money that’s when you don’t want gyro tip because it’s very unprofessional. He said he only works off of tips, so basically he’s saying you are not paying him for the work he does! And that’s the claims worth of reporting your business to authorities.

Massagers are very professional and they know each point of your body and how to relax them :) Walk on my back was heavy but very relaxing, hot stones were really releasing the stress and made me feel good! Great massage. Out of all the places I have been to where they walk on you, this was the best and not painful at all even with spinal issues. She knew exactly what she was doing with her feet and it felt like a giant cat was making biscuits on me working out all the sore spots, haha. Good communication and very clean facility. She was very thorough with legs, neck, and face even. Foot massage was effective with out being painful. Great location as well next to many good places to eat. Will return again.

This massage was great and the staff were nice. However, when you get to the payment following your appointment there is a sign clear as day that says you need to tip 30%!!! It is just like that, with many exclamation points and all capitalized letters. They literally stare at you and watch how much you tip, and their attitude changes depending on your tip amount. Tipping good has never been a problem for me, but Its like they are forcing you to tip, and then at that amount. Honestly, a simple tips are appreciated or 20% gratuity suggested is okay, but to nearly force someone to tip such a large amount is not okay. I loved my experience up until this point.

I am so happy I came here! I live with chronic foot pain and was ready for an hour of dedicated massage. I was seated right away and tended to thoroughly. I met with Sophia on 4/15/22 for a 90 minute deep tissue massage and I cannot be ANY happier! I’ve had vocal chord problems due to neck/throat tension that has made it incredibly difficult to speak loudly and was very strained and painful to talk since the beginning of February. I don’t know what her magic hands did but my voice is back! She worked out the severe tightness from my shoulder that has been ongoing for a long time. My muscles feel loose. I cannot recommend her enough! I will certainly be back. Thank you Sophia! 😁

Things have changed here. There will be a demand for 30% tip. Also if you pay using credit card they charge you extra $10 as transaction fees. Overall you will be paying $30 to $50 extra based on the service.
