They missed my call but called me back which we appreciated. We were visiting the Jacksonville area and my boyfriend wanted Jamaican food. He was pleasantly pleased and the food wasnt overly priced. We will visit here again when in the Jacksonville area.

I always get oxtails, cabbage and rice with beans! ALWAYS Delicious! They are experiencing phone problems today but theyre up and running! Just left! 👍

I enjoy the small homey atmosphere and the spot is very clean. Nice place to end your day with a very tasty meal and cold beer with.

Wha Gwaan! This is a taste of Jamaica right here in Jacksonville. Chef David is amazing. You will not find better Jamaican food anywhere other than THE ROCK. We had Escovitch Parrot Fish (all fish is fresh and made to order but trust me it is worth the 20 minute wait) with rice and peas (not red peas we are talking real Gungu Peas) cabbage that will make your mouth water, fried Plantains, calaloo and of course you can’t have real Jamaican food without a Red Stripe Beer. Listen I have had Jamaican food in many states and in Jamaica and few come close to the fine food David makes at Jamrock. I also forgot to mention that it is called JAMROCK for a reason. Friday and Saturday nights he has a DJ and turns the place into a Jamaican Dancehall. If you want the real deal this is where you get your meal!!!

DJ is good but food is too expensive not to be good.They only take cash and make it hard to buy something if u didnt know.

#1 spot for oxtails hands down. I had them and were in heaven. They are very well cooked this place deserves 5 stars ⭐️

Server had a terrible attitude. No card payments. And the amount of oxtail you get is was not what you pay for.

Grate place they help my grandma every time she come there and treat her well

The service that I received from this place was excellent I will be returning back to this place I went there not knowing that they only take cash and I order a couple of soup and they just gave it to me because I didnt have cash I only have my credit card and for someone to do that recommend this place I will be going back there and bringing friends and family it was nice and clean in the establishment and I like that the soup kind of remind me of how my grandmother used to make soup and it take me back down memory lane so I have to go back and try other stuff in the restaurant I appreciate what they did cuz I was not feeling good that day thats why I needed a coup of soup and I appreciate what he did for giving it to me because i bid have cash and I thank you for that I would say this restaurant at 10 out of 10 thats just my opinion

I must have went on the wrong day for oxtails. Rice 🤮 no gravy on it, oxtails looked days old and had an orange oil in the container 5 maybe 6 thin bones. What was good the jerk chicken and cabbage that’s it. 2 medium plates oxtail rice peas, jerk cabbage rice peas 34$. 3 stars for tha jerk and cabbage

My first time eating here. I was on my way to a friends house and needed to pick up a bite and seen the sign. I turned around in the rain and got the jerk chicken plate with cabbage and rice and peas. It was delish, shouldve got the medium instead of the small. Great customer service, very friendly and do t have to wait long for your order. Best authentic jerk chicken Ive tasted.

Ate here today and everything was absolutely delicious. The oxtails were nice and tender. These are the best peas and rice that I have had and the cabbage was in point. Portions were good for the price.

No menu the price is what ever some guy feels I think buddy had some left overs put them in the microwave 😂 horrible dont waste your time if u enjoy authentic fresh Caribbean food

Their Stew chicken is amazing

It was ok We wanted some Jerk Chicken but was told they didnt have any even though it was posted on the big menu board on the wall inside. Settled for the Curry chicken which was ok but didnt have the spice and was a little bland. I might go there again but just not for the Curry

My favorite club to hear some good ole reggae music. They could give a lil more liquor in those cups but I aint trippin I know how that goes, the food is good and I personally come to hear Djstylish play

I try jamrock and love their food. Everything I tried so far is delicious, I tried a few more Jamaican spot in jx but I found where Im always gonna go & thts Jamrock. The food is great and the Restaurant is nice and big with tables to dine in if u chose to.

Dont like how they dont accept cards but its all good. Their food is superb. I got the jerk chicken with rice and peas. Bomb ash 😍 🙌🏽

They charged me $16 for a medium akee & saltfish but there was a small portion inside the container. I wont be eating here again. I felt ripped off.

My husband is from here and he swears by this place. He convinced me to give it a try (my first time having jamaican food). Honestly, it wasnt good at all. The flavors are just not for me‼️‼️

Good food and reasonable prices, but sometimes the owner can be a bit rude. Still kept coming & the owner finally warmed up to us 🙂
