Dont let the pics fool you. This place gets really busy. I started my visit here during the new lunch time hours. The server Bella was a sweetheart. She was kind, engaging, and informative about the community. Her service was excellent. She even gave me my own personal bell to ring for my non alcoholic beer. This place is super awesome. To name a few perks, they offer bingo, trivia, ladies night, darts, and 🎱 pool. The food was good. The manager took the time to make sure all went well. I enjoyed my visit and look forward to a return.

While the food at this bar comes with a hefty price tag, the service was decent and friendly. The pool tables are in good order, and price per hour is fairly reasonable. What truly sets this place apart is its exceptional atmosphere. The ambiance creates a welcoming and enjoyable experience, making it a worthwhile spot to unwind despite the pricey menu.

I didn’t love the policy on the table deposit, but it’s pretty standard at pool halls. This one actually has a liquor license, which is the exception in Jacksonville. Staff is accommodating, and I will give them another try soon. Didn’t try the food, but friends have said it’s pretty good. Update again once I’ve gone back!

I was charged $16 for a crown and coke ... High price. When I wanted to drink and smoke I was told I cant. I have to smoke on the porch, but cant drink on the porch. So I asked for a refund on the drink, the manager came and said no refunds. I didnt even take a sip. When I said Im just gonna dispute the charge, then she said Fine, Ill void it but youre not allowed back in here ... And I was kicked out just because I asked for a refund. Terrible service. Some white girl with brown hair and glasses was the manager. Shes awful. Stay away from this business.

This is a great place to hang out. Service, food, and drinks are very good! There is good music and nice pool tables.

I went on a Thursday, it wasnt too crowded and got a table. They had their own music playing and they service was awesome someone comes to check on you often enough to where you dont have to leave your table but not so much that its intrusive. Fabulous service, lovely drinks and pretty chill social vibe.

I have autism spectrum disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder so finding a place where I can be social and still feel safe and comfortable can be difficult. Rack is that place for me. Lexie, Jordyn, Kalei, Bella, Whitney, Mark, Bambi, Cyrus, and other great people there that truly make my day better when I am able to go out.The service is very good. I have never found myself waiting an unreasonable amount of time for service. They always provide service with a positive attitude.The food is actually quite good. Personally, I recommend the wings. Good size, cooked well, plenty of sauce options and very fairly priced.There are plenty of beverage options and they are made quite well.My favorite night of the week is Sunday when DJ Randall hosts karaoke night. There is quite a lot of talent that comes out and it is enjoyable to listen to and sometimes participate myself.I would recommend checking out their Facebook page as well as their Instagram to see what all is going on, as they do have events that are weekly and also one-offs.

They sure know how to make a good drink!! Had shot samples and popcorn during our Cinco de Drinko pub crawl. Staff were very nice.

Poor customer service. Rude employees. Owner responded to my poor experience by saying dont come again instead of inquiring more information about the bad experience I had.To the owner who called me cheap, I spend $100 a day on a drink alone. Your place is actually cheap compared to where Im used to go. So, youre the cheap one here. You might want to raise your prices to be able to afford higher quality employees. Good luck to you, cheap business mentality who talk rudely to customers 😃

Love this bar! Bambi is super chill, and they let us all play Super Smash Brothers! If you dont feel like playing Smash, theres plenty of pool tables and dart boards to play at!Also the food is really good at a good price. Thanks guys!

Place was a has a awesome atmosphere. Really chill, they werr doing karaoke the night I stopped in and lots of people participating. Drinks are cold, around 10 full size pool tables, with very cute waitress serving your drinks. Has a full bar and some regular tables if you just want to kick back.

This place is laid back. Darts, pool tables, food. The hot wings were delicious. People there were cool. You can smoke inside.

Place is ok, food is nah! Pool table is pricey. Service is ok but bartenders are flirty because they want bigger tip.

Havent tried the food yet. The drink was standard, happy hour is good but just for wells, wine, and domestic. Decent place havent gone in awhile. They changed some things and cleaned up, no more cigarette smoke inside.

This place is a hidden gem! I came in after getting my knees looked at for lunch. Amazing food, staff is so kind and the owner comes out and makes sure your experience is great. Im definitely coming back here to watch football and the atmosphere reminds me of my hometown. Love this place!

Clean bar, doesnt reek like cigarettes. No smoking inside but they do allow vaping indoors. Pretty sure its a full bar, ive seen people drinking everything from wine to Yaeger shots & patron. Karaoke on Sunday is great but not a lot of people know about it so if you like to sing I highly recommend it, youll have the chance to sing more than once and song selection and DJ are fantastic. One server in particular (Angel/Angela) really stands out, she is super friendly and accommodating if you want a drink made a certain way. Shes also quick witted and has some pretty funny comebacks. Bathrooms are always stocked and clean. Pool tables are regulation grade and level, pool sticks are not bowed or bent, most are decent enough to play a great game of pool and moderate/fair pricing. I spend about $30 to play on the table for like 2-2.5 hours.

We went here for New Year’s eve. We are newer to the area and we are glad we found this place. Very clean, attentive service, friendly and fun. Good food and drinks.

I can say only negative things though I was there for only 15 min that 15 made me leave starting with the young women bartenders who ignored me and decided playing with her hair and talking to her friend was more important... Doesnt seem to be single use quarter pool tables either so be ready to pay by the hour. Cant say much more but being ignored is deff enough to make me leave and go to a establishment that wants my money. You might have a different experience though so hopefully its just me.

Nice place! Clean, our waiter/server was amazing with all of our orders..like 20, good food, several pool tables, lots of TVs, darts....etc...plenty to do!One suggestion...PLEASE start Wednesday Trivia at 8!! 9 is just too late for all members of our group to stay and play.

Drinks kept coming and shots were well prepared in a timely fashion. Disappointed with staff and treatment to patrons. After spending 3 hours on a pool table and consuming alcoholic beverages had 2 employees come to me and my partner to ask us leave the corner where we were finishing our drinks to leave the space and move to the bar because we were no longer “playing”. Jordan who we assume was the bar lead on duty, rudely approached us with her bouncer to ask us to move after supposedly another employee had alerted us already, which btw no other employee had. We just stated we were finishing our drinks and heading out. However, we faced resistance… Ironically they had a sign stating the “customer’s always right”… We left lost a few patrons.

Its the first time that I have been here andI would definitely come back. The bartender Jordan made the best long island ice tea that I have ever had in my life!!! ( Her shots were on point too ). The staff was friendly and this bar had an overall good vibe. I cant wait to come back♥️

Terrible bartending and customer Curtesy. Would not recommend unless you are a local. Smells like cigarettes and people who won’t make it out of a 9-5. After Leaving because of the terrible service, we Waited on the side walk for our Uber. A lady walked out with glasses and tired to scare us with a “final warning” to leave the strip mall after receiving no warning at all. The bouncer then argued about it and telling us we couldn’t stand in the parking lot near the bar. If you are younger 20’s don’t go.

My husband and I visited last night for the first time and were impressed! We arrived around 11 and thought it was kind of slow for a Saturday night but in no way a negative thing. We were able to walk in get a good seat at the bar and got service immediately. All the servers were very friendly, the bar was very clean and the drinks were delicious and well priced. Overall great experiance would definitely come back. As a female I felt comfortable on the environment and would come here for a girls night out to play some pool.

Great place to hang out. Decent food and cold brew. Great service.The only complain I have is this... theres a white woman who sits by herself, drunk, writing in her notebook, smoking, if you see her do not seat anywhere near her. Do not engage her. Shes a regular and she will be all over your personal bubble and breath on you and your food. If you see her let the bartender know if you do not want to be bothered or else she will ruin your night.Other than that, this place is a great place to hang out.

I really enjoy myself whenever I visit. Yes it’s a smokers environment and I’m a smoker myself. The only thing I want to say is the DJ with a certain genre of music, I could live without. For those who don’t smoke… DON’T COME HERE! It’s that simple. There are PLENTY places that don’t allow smoking so please go there! I’m so tired of the non-smokers that complain about the people who have the RIGHT to enjoy cocktail, a game of pool, and a cigarette! We’re not criminals and we’re not trouble makers. It’s a preference. So please if you don’t want to enjoy the cigarettes that we do, take yourself somewhere else.

Great little pool hall / hookah bar - service was good. Honestly, the only reason for 4 out of 5 is that we went for the DJ and dancing and there is no dancing or place to dance; tables sitting where a dance floor would be.

We got rejected upon entering because one of us (a 65 year old tourist from the Caribbean) did not have his ID on him.A 42yr old and 65yr old got rejected, so the rest of our office (15 in total) took the business elsewhere.

Went to play darts but couldnt even walk inside before we were choking on smoke. Turned around and walked out to find another place (less than 3 miles away) that didnt smell rancid.RESPONSE TO OWNER RESPONSE: The $17,000 in ventilation obviously didnt work because the place was almost empty when we showed up and the doors were propped open by the staff for that reason, they said. Even they said youll smell of smoke when you leave, its so bad. The place LOOKED nice, but a few dozen air purifiers could do wonders. Maybe the filters need changed in your $17,000 ventilation system.

Pool hall, sports bar feel. Decent place, beer on tap is warm, no chilled glass, ran out of bar mixs limiting the drink selection for my group. Had lasers that would interrupt you when shooting pool. Service was great, waitress was always available as soon as we needed her, drinks served quickly, service with a smile. Small changes would make this place great!

The environment is great , glad they open doors gets alittle Smokey. My bff and I went and we played pool , had a few drinks and a flat bread and hookah it cost us $80 each. We were not expecting that. A bit expensive for a night out.

You pay $15 an hour for horribly beat up tables where the felt has holes on every single table! There’s not one decent table in the whole place and they aren’t even half way decent? I pay the same at a billiards hall with new regulation tables. We went Friday night and the womens bathrooms were trashed. Toilets clogged and broken. Spent $32 for an hour of pool and 3 drinks plus a &10 tip as it’s not the bartenders fault I guess.

First, pretty decent place. Good beer selection. Decent wait staff. Nice atmosphere. But I didnt realize it was smoker friendly. Wow. I was a smoker for 30 years and quit 7 years ago. Its very smoky in there. Couldnt take it. Be forewarned. If you smoke, awesome. Youll love it. If not, ....

Had a great night shooting pool. The bartender was a personable guy, and we talked about rhe Marines. Food was the only draw back. Got a app of Tots asked for Ranch and was given just a small container. Im sure I could have asked for more, but I would have thought I would have gotten a bit more. Otherwise, would definitely go back, plenty of tables to have a good time playing pool.

I went here for dinner while on a business trip and was not impressed. I wanted to watch the NBA playoffs so I found what looked like a popular spot for sports and food but was sadly let down. The burger I ordered was average, nothing spectacular. The bartenders were helpful and put on the game, but there wasnt much else to compliment. There was no sound, whatsoever. No TV noise, no music, no conversation from other customers. It was a very awkward, eerie experience. I give this place 2 stars, simply because thee restaurant was clean and the staff was helpful, thats it. I would not recommend this place for anything other than an average, quiet meal.

I travel allot for business, but try to get back to Jacksonville when I can. I first went to Rackem Up Billiards about 9 months ago, and have been back around 6 times since then. The staff is engaging or not depending on how you respond, very clear on the pool table rates, specials, etc. and overall nice people. I had a friends fries one night - which were good, but overall I cant speak to the food that much. I grew up in IL and spent allot of time in pool bars/halls, the table price isnt bad really and the cross section of customers is nice to me..tables have decent felt and they provided ques are not too shabby..I enjoy coming here when in town and have the free time.

I wouldnt think of spending my spare time anywhere else. Hired entertainment is always good. The hookahs and beverages are always priced appropriately. Pool tables are in great condition. Staff is always friendly/funny/fast. Food service is slow but that falls on the restaurant that services their orders (Vinos). However, there isnt a bad tasting item on the menu. Despite being a smoker, I cant stand walking out of bar smelling like an ashtray and that simply doesnt happen here. Cant think of one other place in Mandarin that meets or exceed the standard of quality set by this place.

Strong drinks, cool atmosphere. Can smoke hooka at the bar or play some pool. Love the music, they play great songs of all different genres. Usually a much higher ratio of men than women, but Ive never felt the need to leave because of some creeper. Always friendly atmosphere.

The waitress was friendly but not very attentive. The place was filled with cigarette and hooka smoke. We are from out of town and came for drinks and food. The food was fair and the drinks warm. We left smelling like a tobacco experiment. The atmosphere was quiet but I dont recommend this place for food sue the the smoke😷😷😷

A bit on the pricey side but indeed a great place to hang. Played pool for about 2 hours and smoked a hookah. My favorite part about this place is that you have the hookah and they have more than enough pool tables that you won’t be left out. Took a while for the staff to help us initially but definitely turned that around by giving us great service.

It wasnt super crowded. We got a pool table immediately. Bartenders were great. A little pricey but, I say its worth it.

The atmosphere felt a little forced, like it was trying to be a night club. The pool tables and beer are usually good enough. The DJ did trivia and it was awkward. I think if it hadnt been such a weird vibe inside I would have enjoyed it more.

Stocked bar, 10 tables, jukebox is just loud enough to enjoy your music, but not enough to make you deaf. Bartender(ess) was awesome, and cute. They have other parlor games as well. And hookah. Good mix of chill and sports.

My wife and I go here all the time. They have lots of regulation pool tables. I usually play a few games of darts while we are there and they have a pretty good beer selection. Their happy hour doesnt have the best deals in town but, their prices arent outrageous to begin with...

The cost for a pool table wasnt bad and the dart have was a ton of fun. There have a decent beer selection and offer hookah as well! It wasnt busy on that Tuesday night so the service was very quick and the restrooms we clean. TVs played about it different sports but they were rather small. Soon theyll have a kitchen so Im excited for that.

This is the best pool hall that Ive found since Ive moved to the Orange Park/ Jacksonville area. The tables are a bit under regulation size, but their felt quality is good. The bar serves liquor and beer, which is rare. There are no servers going around to tables to check on people, and you have to pay per person, by the hour. Both of these things make me miss the pool halls back home in Tallahassee.Overall, it was a good experience, and I would go back.

I enjoyed my experience, even though it was very crowded. The clientele is very diverse. Smoke smells do fill the air and leave you drenched for the remainder of your evening. So if Cig smoke isnt your thing, then you should avoid this place. Large bar, so you dont have to wait long for a drink. The roaming servers do make it fast to get a drink too. Nice pool tables. This isnt a bad place to mix up your evenings, but like I said, be prepared to smell like an ash tray for the rest of the night. Make sure you go home in time to take a shower before bed!

Tables are little worn down and too close together. $15/hour for pool is steep. The environment is decent for a drink.. but for pool only, not so much.

I have been to plenty of sport bars, but Rack em up is an exceptionally great in everywhich way. Fantastic service, great food not your typical bar food this is something to brag about, the bar tenders are very polite, the owners are so humble and need of their customers always comes first. You gotta check this place out, you will not be disappointed. If I could give them more than 5 starts I TOTALLY would have!

Fun place to play pool, get a drink and hang out with friends. They have cool jukebox that plays thousands of songs at a touch of a finger. The staff is extremely courteous. The atmosphere is laid back and chill.

I Enjoyed every minute it was my first time there and the bartenders were professional and courteous. Wish they had a military discount 😪 but besides that I think I found my spot. Will definitely recommend.

Last Thursday, I went to Rackem up, shortly after opening. Not sure of the hours of the happy hour but $2 domestic draft beer (Pint!) As well as $3 rack drinks. And pool was only $7 per hour! Had a blast. Definitely recommend.

We had a great time shooting darts Saturday afternoon. Played some music and just relaxed. The bartender Nicole was very sweet. Thanks for a nice bright and clean place to enjoy the afternoon.

Customer service was terrible and so we did not tip. Bartender was rude and cussed us out and threatened to call JSO because we did not tip. Do not go here. Overpriced and rude bartender. You cannot show me that footage because it does not exist. I was not rude or loud or cussing at her. She engaged me as I was leaving, cussing and yelling. If she had good customer sevice skills and was nice she would have been tipped and there wouldnt have been a problem.

The billiards rates are pricey compared to places Ive been to in the past, the food was good but Im not confident it matched up too well with what we paid for it

Had an amazing time here. We went on a Saturday and they had a DJ. Nice vibe and good drinks. You can even shoot a little basketball after playing pool.

Its a neighborhood bar. Its a great place to drink and chill with your friends. They have pool tables, darts and plenty of tables you can sit at. Sunday they have karaoke, Monday is bar bingo, Thursday is trivia night and Saturday they have a dj. The bartenders are eh. If you dont have high expectations they are great.

I was there as a retirement reception and the staff was really great. Nicole was the bartender on call and she was absolutely fabulous for our party. The food was simple and delicious and the drinks were good.

Never coming back here again. Ive been regular for quite sometime. The bartenders here play favouritism. It seems doesnt matter how many times a week I come here and Ive always tipped more than 20%. There are better lounges Ive found in the mandarian area better places to go. Its all good though. I dont recommend anyone come here.

I was carded... I understand but I am clearly over 50 with gray hair and wrinkles, when I gave them my id for them to scan, it didnt work and yet I was still questioned by additional male personnel if it was valid. Not very friendly or welcoming.

Bouncer is a rent a cop that thinks he knows what he’s talking about when he doesn’t have a clue. He listened to a jealous girl that claimed I couldn’t drive because she didn’t want me to leave. He had the audacity to tell me I wasn’t driving after 3 drinks. I won’t be back.

Pretty solid place. Lost of pool tables, a metric ton of televisions. Karaoke on Sundays. Place is nice and clean, drinks are good, although not terrible strong. But all in all its a good experiance.

Great bar for pool players. One thing to know is that is a hooka lounge and smoking is allowed inside. They also have electronic dart boards. Great place to watch almost any game. Cheap cold drinks.

Sadly because you can smoke in there, its not somewhere I will go. Nice drinks, food is alright. It has the sports bar feel with the TVs and of course the pool tables. I just cant handle the smoke.

My girlfriend was sexually assaulted in the bar area. I notified the manager and he made the owner aware. He approached me and said he would review the video. When I came back the next day the owner said I could not acquire the video footage and had me escorted off the property by police, with a reluctant attitude. I will be following up with legal action. This establishment is shady and does not promote a safe atmosphere for women.

This is now called Rack em up. Went to see my friends band play there. The band was great. The service? 3 bartenders, not busy, chatting with each other, after trying to get their attention for about 7 minutes, one finally walks over, then someone shouts an order right over the top of my head from behind and she serves THEM first. My eyes fell out of my head! She then looked at me like did you need something and I just waved her off. Sat at the bar watching the band for 2 hours and was never asked one time if I wanted anything. WOW!

The worst billiard room in Florida,.serving hookah with food in a 100% inclosed area plus rude manager . Stay away from this place .

My friends and I have been coming to this bar for several years and we love it. We play Trivia every Thursday and the entire staff is great! Great food and drinks, highly recommended!

Always changing up craft beers on tap and in bottles/cans, which is nice to be able to try different crafts. Way less smoky than cheers and not all dark inside. Open space.

Absolutely terrible experience!! Everyone should be also be cautioned that this place will call the police on you if you try to sleep it off in your vehicle like a responsible person instead of driving home drunk.So, Im a freelance documentary film maker doing some work in Jacksonville for about a month. I come into this place and drop a bunch of cash a few times. I sleep in my van because I have all my camera and audio stuff, and Im always traveling.I go into this place one night and have some drinks. This guy comes up to me and tells me that I shouldnt park my van in the lowes parking lot because somehow Im scaring the women. This was the stupidest thing that Ive ever heard. I am well asleep long before the place even closes. Anyway, I basically told him that he should mind his own business.Anyway, at 3am, the police are shinning lights in my van talking about I cant be here and how the manager said Im banned from the bar, and Ive been camping around the area. I guess the police are used to dealing with a bunch of intellectually challenged meth heads at that hour, because they tried that good ole boy throwing their weigh around crap. They even said they would tow my car away with me in it lolI quickly corrected these officers by telling them that Im well aware of my rights, and if they tow me away while Im in it, there will be severe kegal consequences. I also told them that Im a member of the 24 hour gym and if I want to be on that property 24 hours a day, Im legally entitled to do so. The result was that I ended up staying there for the rest of the night.In closing, I would be very cautious of a bar that behaves this way against patrons who spend money. Im considering asking my producer if we could conduct a social experiment by sending in 20 year olds with hidden cameras to buy alcohol. Im sure that would make great footage.

Friendly staff good food

Not a bad pool hall (they have darts too), the staff seemed friendly, there was a good atmosphere and the drink prices were reasonable. I would definitely go there again.

This place has food, drinks and some of the best times a person can have. This place is awesome.

This place seems to condone rape culture with drinks called, Statuatory Grape, Alabama Slam Her, and the worst one Lay Down and Shut Up. Dont they know the bar business is all about impressing female clientele. Where there are women, men will follow. I dont know what kind of human being would think this is amusing but I wont be back. Create a safer space for women.

I went there about 2 weeks ago andit was great very laid back bar with good music. And plenty of pool tables i liked the way they did the new to me wrap around bar NICE!!!

Cool place to play pool but bouncer was a bit too much for my liking. Will go back with Hopes that the bouncer will ease up a bit. No need for so much hostility.

I waited for a long time to get my pool balls because the bar tender was hitting on a brunette. And then when I was done, I gave back the balls, but when I went to pay, I got ingored. I was in a hurry so I had to leave my ID there and didnt pay.... I am livid.

Good refreshing place to hangout and have a cold brew in Mandarin that isnt filled with people 60 and over. Service is great! Will return soon.

I was there for my company Christmas party. Waitresses were great! Bartenders were slow. Regular bar food. Small clean pool hall!

Some of the best pool tables in the city, I have my own at home but my pal & I go up there every Thurs and are never disappointed. Good Tunes usually playing in the backgound....Good Times

Full bar, tables are well kept and usually have a few available. Bar staff is attentive and friendly, DJ plays good music.

This is definitely a place the locals come and hang out. Masks are required when entering and IDs are checked. There is hookah and smoking allowed inside.

Chill place to play darts or pool, hang out with some friends, smoke some hookah, do karaoke. Music is not obnoxiously loud so you can dance and still hear your friends talk to you

The security that stays on the door came to complain that we were sitting on the pool table (we werent...we were just standing there ) and was rude with us telling us to no even touch the table once we were not playing anymore. Do not recommend this place and this rudness to anyone!!

Came on a Thursday night for trivia and was a little overwhelmed with all the cigarette smoke. Drink selection was ok and hookah selection was good and trivia was awesome!

Love this place, good beer selection and food. If you want something else to eat theres good places in the shopping center and drinks afterwards here.

Rude bartender, sign at bar said no walk up service but we were ignored at the table we sat at so had to go up to her for everything. We wanted food but ended up going elsewhere since she didnt wanna help us.. plus I ended up having to wipe our own table and chairs off because they were filthy... And this was at lunch time

We come here from time to time to play pool and have a few drinks..First time coming since they started serving food and the food was great.A must place to go and let your hair down and just relax and have fun.

Worst customer service... Walked in with a couple of friends but I wasnt gonna play... So whoever was taking care of the place wanted to charge for everybody even for people who wasnt gonna play... It makes no sense to pay for something people is not going to get or do.. So we toke our business somewhere where they are not that rude and money hungry.

Beer pitchers are cheap. Pool table rates are pretty good too. Good spot on weekdays. Weekends not so much. Lol

Im not really sure what you guys are thinking, but $15/hour to play pool is incredibly overpriced. Ive been to 3 different places that I can play at for $5/hour. And thats not happy hour rates.

This is a fun clean environment to come enjoy some food, good sports bar, and great pool tables. Staff are very friendly and attentive to you. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun hangout!

The girls there know not only the names but their drink choices, the tables are clean and the hall is pretty spacious...little on the pricey side but worth it.

The bartender raised the rate to 20 dollars an hour for 6 people! I believe that rate went that high solely for the fact that were African American! We are visiting Jacksonville from another state. I guess racism is still down South!
