Tubular Tokes Largo

So a friend of mine has been the victim of harassment under the owner of Tubular Tokes.He suffers from DEPRESSION and BODY CONFIDENCE issues. The owner of the store has harassed him by making derogatory comments about his weight. This didnt happen once, this has happened EVERY TIME he walked into the store. According to Yelp, this isnt the first time the owner of Tubular Tokes has been accused of harrassing customers.Something needs to be done, NOW! Harassing your customers is not OK, harassing a customer with body confidence issues is a big hell no! Something tells me he needs to be taken down a notch. I dont wanna think what would happen if I had to walk into the store to confront him.I just reported him to the Better Business Bureau, so well see what happens from here.

Don’t go into this store, they don’t deserve your business, but especially if you’re a women. The owner literally has felony charges on him for beating women. He will also abuse you verbally and otherwise simply for existing in his store. There are plenty of other vape shops in the largo and Saint Pete areas with great prices, why give a known abuser your business 🤷🏽‍♀️

I visited the store once before and he was slightly rude so I decided to try again since its right on my way home from work (and open late). I walked in with a smile and said hello! His response: waddayawantI said (politely) ummm a little better customer service? , he chuckles and said waddayawant?? So I turned around and walked out. Not giving my money to someone who doesnt appreciate business, guy is an @$$ and from what I read in these reviews, a violent masogynist! I went without and went to the corner store in the morning where theyre more appreciative of my business.

This guy does has a wide selection of smoke shop items in his store but everything is overpriced compared to all other smoke shops Ive visited; some of which are ridiculously overpriced and he will not work with you (anecdotal experience from myself and 5 others who have visited multiple times). The owner, who is usually the one behind the counter, is surprisingly rude, impatient and even insulting; regardless of the patron or their reason for visiting. I have personally seen it happen several times and he gets aggressive at times, seemingly without cause or provocation. Tonight was absolutely my last visit or purchase from this guy or his store as he once again was rude and agitated immediately upon my entrance into Tubular Tokes. He walked over as I stood at the counter and said verbatum, What do YOU want?!; to which I laughed and gave a sarcastic reply. The item I purchased has a sticker price of $5.84 but the total cost was nearly 2 dollars more because I used a card instead of cash. In summation, if you prefer overpriced items with hidden charges (some ridiculously overpriced), random hours and a rude, impatient, sometimes aggressive owner who gives terrible service, Tubular Tokes in Largo, off W Bay, is your spot.P. S.— [If you check the owners criminal history you will find much more disturbing info and prior instances]

This place doesnt Even deserve one star, but in order to post a review I had no choice, but it should be negative 10 stars I used to be a frequent customer for a while a long time ago and I recently just went in there, and well never be back the kid with the curly hair that works there is very rude. Actually I see He has this problem quite a bit. Especially with dogs that are SERVICE DOGS!!! I WASNT EVEN A FOOT IN THE DOOR BEFORE HE BASICALLY HARRASSED ME OUT THE DOOR IN MY FACE. YELLING. NEVER AGAIN IDK HOW HES STILL IN BUSINESS

The man that owns this store is a vile human being, terrible attitude and cant control his anger. He also has a public record or violent assault of two women one he based in the face and one he kicked repeatedly while she was on the ground. Idc what his prices are this man needs to be behind bars and have a mental rehabilitation treatment done asap.

Been going to this guy since I was 16 when he sold underage kids downtown went to his other store up in largo he was the clerk/owner probably moved because he beat a girl outside his downtown location anyways dudes still a conceited rude individual.

Tried to walk in the door tonight when I was told by the extremely RUDE owner that absolutely no dogs were allowed. I have a service dog & he still wouldn’t let us in.

I havent had a problem so far and I only come for the sales. Havent seen the owner there yet. Thats a plus.Warning:Opinion is subject to change. 🤟

Wandering around st pete i saw tube tokes and instantly lovedit so much i had to drag my bf to a horrible place called largo to experience more. they have everything i want inna place: neon lights, an unparalleled snack selection, and horrible customer service. 10/10 never coming back unless i end up in florida again somehow

Will no longer be supporting a man who laid his hands on a women.Workers are helpful and have a good attitude. Especially the tall brunette at largo location. Unfortunately does not make up for the owner, who is in fact scum, rude and again beats women.Plenty of other smoke shops in St. Pete / Largo than to support someone with multiple battery charges against women.

This shop sole me 2 vapes. When I got home the vape malfunctioned and burnt out. I called the clerk who was super friendly in the shop and he hung up on me. I called their other location and the employee informed me there was boring they could do and the owner couldn’t be contacted. The last couple vapes I got from there have been funny but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and I shouldn’t the shop is great buy some sodas and maybe a snack but don’t waste your money on the vapes there they are fake.

I am honestly confused of the issues with management and staff. I assume that the business isnt profitable and the stress is taken out on each other and thus the guests. A shame this prime location isnt better managed, I suppose Pinellas county will just have to wait for the business to go under before a better firm takes over the unit.

Just go to one of the hundreds of other vape shops in the area. Owner doesnt deserve to have his business supported. Absolute clown of a human.

Owner has 2 felony aggravated battery charges for 2 seperate attacks on female customers in the st pete store since July 2023. One for tasing a customer in her head and one for kicking a woman in the face and upper body multiple times while she was on the ground blacked out. He has also been known to verbally harass and insult customers. Do not spend your money at this business, this man does not deserve your support.

He has what you need. The owner is really funny as long as you arent the target. The store says its all neon and the owner does it. Neon is an amazing lost art.Too bad the owner only knows how to work in LED

Everytime I come here the door is locked, its 5:02pm right now. I always sit in the parking lot call about twice and nothing. No response, no notice on door. Pull up at your own risk

I been going to this shop for months now n I never ever had a problem, same wit my friends. They are the cheapest by far, when u buy the vape they always tell u to make sure to test ur vape out before u leave. So not sure why other reviews say they sell fake when u actually get to test it while ur in the store. So if they malfunction, they will give you a new one. So its ur fault if u walk out without testing them. All vape shops have had vapes that stop working so its the company fault, not theirs. The customer service here is amazing, so welcoming especially when u first walk in n always helpful. Wont shop anywhere else bc all these shop are so expensive.

Cool building and decor! That is the only reason I would give it 1 star. Walked in on a Friday night, employee was helping a customer at the counter and we were able to witness a very rude owner or manager criticize the employee in front of everyone!! I am not sure what the employee did but I am pretty sure he was doing a fantastic job as the customer expressed this to the rude manager/owner. She even expressed that she had been in the store multiple times but would not be returning due to his rudeness. He then of course had some not so nice things to say about his customer. Needless to say we will not be returning and would hope that anyone reading this review would spend their money at another business that respects employees and customers.

Ive been to this store a bunch and really loved it. I got a tank and it was leaking out immediately. I offered to bring a used one to show the weight difference that I used it twice and they wouldnt exchange it and said I should have tested it in the store before I left

The one in st pete is awesome been going for years this one I tried 3 times during work hours and it was closed I definitely recommend tubular tokes if you can catch them open at this location. ST pete location 5 out of 5.

This place is NEVER open anytime I go there, despite it being within their business hours. I even went there one time and they had a sign on the door that said out to buy heroin be back later. Extremely unprofessional and I wouldnt recommend supporting this business whatsoever.

I called to ask a question. The phone was answered and I heard real loud static but managed to make out you are talking to my sound hole in a real annoyed voice. Not 2 seconds later I then hear youre not talking and get hung up on. Real nice manners and way to treat your customers. I know I will not be shopping in this store. No wonder you are at a 2.3 star rating and earned another 1 star. Keep up the good work! Not!

So this place was recommended to me by a coworker so before I made the drive I wanted to make sure they had what I wanted. I call the store, someone answers and says nothing at all 🙄 so I call back and finally someone speaks and I ask if they sell what I need, they say yes and before I could ask how much I was hung up on. I was almost just going to make the drive anyway but looking at these reviews I am so glad I didn’t, pretty sure I dodged a bullet and a possible charge because I don’t do disrespect at all lol. If you are reading this do yourself a favor and go to Giavanni’s on Roosevelt, top notch customer service

Pretty sure this is one of those places that are rude on purpose like those restaurants that you go to to be demeaned. They are usually rude, but Im a big boy and they have cheap vapes.

In and out in 5 minutes, great variety of vaping supplies, lots of brands and flavors. they also carry nap Champa and wildberry incense, plus lots of other unique things.

It’s super scary considering the owner is a woman beater.. He abuses me every time i go in. Don’t go if you’re a woman. He hates us for no reason

Just bought a vape and it worked at first. Walked across the street and it stopped working. Came back and they refused to replace it as you could see it was not working. They just said buy a new one. Not cool at all.

The owner is a dope addict or something. Stay far away. He is rude and doesnt care about his customers at all.Shop somewhere else. Theres a million smoke shops around. Attempted to walk in at 1300 (1pm) and the door was locked on a Thursday. Hours of operation clearly do not matter to the owner.*edit: The owner responded and shows they have horrible customer service. Put a sign on the door with an explanation, seems quite simple. What a tool that guy is.

I dont know why everyone is so sensitive. I thought the owner was funny. The staff always answers my questions and I get what I go in for or I go somewhere else to find it. Simple.

Actually really enjoyed the little act the owner puts on. If you don’t catch on to it I suppose it could be unsettling, but it’s definitely entertaining. Would go back just for the personality

Do not shop here! They have a limit of 5 per customer, but when I went to get my disposable vapes, he told me there was a limit of 2! And refused to allow me to purchase any more then that after my sister had just been in and gotten 5 herself. What a wasted 45min drive!

I’ve bought several pieces from here and was a regular customer until the guy with the mullet was working on my last visit. Very rude for somebody who is suppose to answer your questions about products. I was there to buy something and you don’t want to take a few minutes to explain your product that you’re trying to sell so I’ve been taking my business somewhere else.

Went in and I guess supposedly a minor followed behind me and the guy said I couldn’t buy my vape cause “he needs the other guy id” I didn’t even know the guy been going here as long as they were open and just got nothing but disrespect
