**Had to go back and try some other goodie’s! Can’t believe I can get food like this at a neighborhood bar! Christian also made a drink you’d expect to see in a magazine so I had to grab a shot of that as well. This time I tried the Buffalo Cauliflower and the Crispy Chicken Sliders. Spectacular service and unexpectedly great food!Arguably the best tomato bisque I’ve ever had. Certainly rivals most fine dining restaurant I’ve been to in the soup category lol! Also, perfectly toasted grilled cheese. Your mama can’t make it any better! You can taste the love. ❤️ Bartenders were prompt, attentive, aware and demonstrated excellent hospitality. Great job guys!

Well, this is our goodbye! my partner, and i have been regulars at this amazing bar for over 2+ years! whether it is tuesday night game night, special events, brunch, happy hours, or friday evening! thank you to the owner, the amazing bartenders and the phoenix patrons for all of the memories! we are off to louisiana! but first, one last game night this evening!

On at least one of our days in Las Vegas we always get off the strip and look for unique/unusual places. We never have a method we just drive around and check out what we stumble in without looking up reviews.The Phoenix Bar and Lounge was a nice find. From the outside we didn’t know what to expect. It looked like it could be a little rough, but this couldn’t have been further from the truth. Inside you find a super clean and friendly gay bar.The staff was very nice and they were generous with free drinks while we played video poker. You can tell this is a locals spot and people really enjoy it. There are also a couple pool tables and darts.We already had lunch but shared the buffalo cauliflower and it was delicious. Excellent hot wing flavor. I saw some other food as it was delivered and it all looked great, so I would definitely go back for lunch or dinner.

I love the Old Broads Balads and Booze brunches they have on the third Sunday of the Month. Natalie Blaze is AWESOME.

This was a 10/10 experience. Everyone was super friendly and the atmosphere was laid back which I enjoy. The bartenders, kitchen staff and the owner were phenomenal. Thanks for everything!

Custom service was beyond great 👍🏾 but the drinks I ordered taste like they added water, the food didnt have any seasoning 🤦🏾‍♀️ more like they they just cooked the food and serviced it lol I would go again but I wouldnt pay for another RSVP table 🤦🏾‍♀️ wasted my money on that 🤷🏾‍♀️

This bar is exceptional. The staff is very welcoming. The cooks will ask how you like your food and prepare it just that way. There isnt a holiday that they dont decorate for. All the shows they put on are spectacular. Even karaoke is so much fun. Come on down and join the fun.

Right when you walk in you’re greeted by friendly bartenders who are very helpful and attentive! We all felt loved and welcomed as soon as we entered. There is nothing bad about this place! I will return each time I go to Las Vegas!

This bar felt like home. We’re from Orlando and were worried about that “Vegas” vibe. This bar felt like being at our local bars. Absolutely recommend. If Jordan is working get him he’s amazing.

One of the best gay bars I went to in Las Vegas. The bar has an open floor plan. Off to one side is the rectangle bar, in the back is the kitchen, and in the middle is more seating. In one corner they have an area that people play video games. The bartenders were friendly and eager to help. Drinks were strong and reasonably priced. Check their facebook website for drink specials and nightly events. They also have great food options. They have some killer marketing and branding.The video poker at the bar is popular and fun way to pass the time.

This bar hid the 3 people that assaulted my sister in law, they lied to the police and told them that the suspects/aggressors were gone when they were in fact still there. my sister in law deserves her justice just as much like this place should be shut down or get new employees.

One of my favorite after work places to go for a one-and-done beer or cocktail before heading home. The staff it’s really nice, and as the new guy in town, made me really feel welcome. It quickly felt like home and I was like Norm from Cheers. As infrequent as I go, I’m always merry with smiles and a couple of hugs and handshakes. Exactly the kind of vibe I was looking for. The food is good and they always have something going on. Karaoke is fun. See you soon.

Watch your check. Bartender attempted to over charge me by $30. no doubt bartender knew what he was doing. No wonders people ditch this place and goes to the Garage

Overall, this is a really great gay bar with friendly staff, reasonably priced drinks, and really good food. It has the feel of a small town gay bar where everybody welcomes in the new people.I was there on two nights: Friday’s Drag Race viewing party, which was a freaking blast. The dancers were super hot and a lot of fun.Saturday night, it was like a “straight night” and the vibe was completely different. If you go on an off night, give it another chance because it really is a great little bar!!

I was there for Halloween and usually I come and cant stop dancing but the dj that night seemed to be a one trick pony. I love Reggaeton but come on! Play some hits that people who have been drinking want to hear! I added a picture of no one dancing. It happened for like 50 minutes. Ill be back but, lets have a mix new guy 😅

This is the only gay bar for us. I’ve been going here for too many years to say I’ll age myself then lol but the day I met my now husband we went here for Drinks after meting. So after many years being together and going here often my husband n I got married on the 30th. So after the wedding we wanted to go to the bar after with about 30 of our guest from the wedding. I messaged Gabriel and he advised me they were having a huge event the same day but he would insure we were taken care of. We really were taken care of, he had tables set up already reserved signs on the tables. We arrived and they provided us two bottles of champagne at no cost I was shocked but so appreciative. Then the bartenders kept checking on everyone in my party. People who had never been there said they have already been back. The food is amazing and priced perfectly, the drinks are made with love for sure, and the environment is so welcoming. We had many straight guys come with us and they loved it they felt comfortable and had a blast. Thank you Phoenix for making our night perfect, we couldn’t of asked for a better way to end our celebration night.

As far as most gay bars go, The phoenix has a very comfortable feel. Its not over priced at all. The staff is very friendly and try there best to keep up with volume. I like there daily themed nights. The people here are all nice and not intimidating. Definitely went beyond my expectations.

Absolutely fantastic. Steven and Christian were both amazing bartenders, helped me find a great drink. Despite being out of what I originally wanted, they found a substitute I liked EVEN BETTER. Plus the drag show was fun. 10/10 Ill definitely be back.If you decide to come here, try to get either of these amazing gentlemen if theyre available.

I’m new to Vegas and came here with friends for their glow party. I was immediately welcomed by strangers and given glowing temp tats all over as well as other glowing accessories! No cover charge and the staff took great care of me and my friends. Will definitely be going back!

THIS PLACE BLOWS! DONT EVER COME HERE!!!! The food is horrendous, the bathrooms have broken glass and blood everywhere and it smells like someone died. Steer clear of this club!

I dont even drink but I still love coming here for the food and entertainment! The staff and chef are so nice. The portions are huge for the price. When I got my leftovers to go the chef packed them up with enjoy in a heart written on the top. Cant beat this! Plus the free entertainment is always legit. 11/10!

Our friends took us here and we had an awesome time. Hopefully we can come back some day. We got some champagne on the house once they heard my fiancé and I were getting married. Great experience!

Gay/Burning Man/ Local community bar. The vibe variates a lot accordingly with the event running that night. It has two intimate patios. The food is really good for a bar. The fish tacos are my new favorite.Mondays and Wednesday are the bests days.

Best straight friendly Gay bar in Vegas, and one of the very few with clean (no cigerrets) air. Service is awesome, food, though being a bar, is better than average, and the place is a lot of fun with Shows and Karaoke on some nights.

Came to check out what music they had going on & Was Knocked Out by the Karaoke Talent that showed up for Sunday Night. Had so much fun here!! My first time going to a gay bar and feeling so comfortable when I came in. The bartenders were so nice to me! Was the first time I came out of my shell and did karaoke!! Was so much fun! Would love to visit again when I come back out here to Vegas.

Brought my uncles and aunt here for a random drop in on a Tuesday, and we had a lot of fun. The bartenders were great, the drag show was entertaining, and there were plenty of seats for us to hang out. I can’t believe I haven’t been here sooner!

This place is amazing. My wife and I got married in Vegas last weekend and came here to relax from the usual Vegas chaos. Everyone was so loving and courteous. It was a clean establishment that I would feel safe bringing my kids into. I love how the host got my wife and I involved with a skit on stage!

I came acrossed this bar visiting, and had an overall amazing time! We got in super fast, and was consistently being taken care of. Most of the staff were very nice, especially Derek & Vince. There were a couple rude ones but besides that it had to have been one of my favorite experiences! Great people I met and got to dance with, with great drink recommendations and overall amazing staff!

Ah I had such high hopes for this bar.It was Friday and they were going to show RuPaul so my man and I went early to get a seat.Get there, get a seat at the bar and order drinks.So far so good.Then it started going downhill. Ru isnt on until 9pm. Why? Cuz, I guess.They had their own drag show, which was ok.We were getting hungry so we placed a good order, tenders and onion rings. It took about 40 minutes to get them. Not because they were busy, but because the bartender forgot to Ivet the order. Once he told us he did that, we were pretty much ignored when our drinks were empty. I had to flag other bartenders to get a drink.9 pm arrives and the drag show is still going, 915, still going.We ended up leaving right after.Not one to go back to, though I will say, its a great looking bar.

Came here last night while visiting Vegas. It was very easy to spot from the road and lots of nice parking. When we got inside we had the most amazing time! Everyone was super friendly and the place was very clean. Derek was an amazing bartender and really kept the night alive. From great drinks to great music my little group was completely covered. Derek and his crew were so accommodating and so sweet. One of the best gay/lesbian bars I have ever been too. I can’t wait to come back! If you have a chance to stop, do it and ask for Derek! You will be glad you did!

So tonight, I went to the Phoenix bar for the very first time. It was a good environment and good drinks. My friend and I made a few orders of drinks. The last time I ordered, I noticed the price was a bit more than before. I simply mentioned it to the bartender. I wasnt upset or anything.Well, the bartender/manager with the muscles and man bun says to me oh, Im sorry Im gonna give you THE HOMEBOY DISCOUNT. I laughed but really, I was a hit offended inside about it. He brings the receipt and says see, I gave you THE HOMEBOY DISCOUNT!First off, I didnt ask for a discount. I simply mentioned the price difference. I still tipped though but as good as the first.Stereotypes and prejudice are just as bad in our community as anywhere else!!

Everyone has a friendly vibe. The bar is inviting and easy-going. We are non-drinkers but still were treated like we were spending big bucks on drinks. Moya and Jordan have been especially helpful as we are new to Las Vegas. Other bartenders are equally friendly and helpful. I believe this is our Vegas go-to place!!!

EDIT:They picked up a lot more recently, and Im honestly surprised at how many more people show up now. Just be careful of the weirdos who ask you to like/follow their business profile or side hustle.Id give more stars, but it still doesnt have as many people as Id like it to.OLD REVIEW:I keep giving this place a chance because its one of the few queer bars, but of the 5 times Ive been here, people come in groups without interacting with others.Its probably best if you already have people to go with, but this isnt for me. If I want to hang out with friends or partners, Id rather eat out, play games, or watch shows together.

This is the bar to go to! It is judgement free, great vibes, yummy drinks! Entertainment was outstanding! I went to my first drag show and this was the first gay bar I have ever been too! This really set the tone for my entire trip to Vegas! Thank you to The Phoenix for an amazing start to my 21st birthday! To everyone that made me feel special on my special day. The champagne was delicious and the DJ was on point!

This is an extremely friendly bar. The staff is very welcoming and social. They greet you by name and remember your favorite drinks. They karaoke, dancing and even a very large screen for playing video games on. This is one of my favorite bars to visit and I always recommend visitors check this place out. They also have some amazing food which you dont expect at a bar. They serve a lot more than your typical bar” food and it’s delicious. If your looking for a great time away from the strip then check this place out.

Most of the people that come to this place are complete junkie trash but the only reason I’d ever come back is because of Derek the bartender! He’s seriously worth coming for! He’s amazing and kind and just makes you feel great! His ability to read a room is beyond fantastic and he’ll make you feel so warm and welcome! If it weren’t for him I’d probably never show my face here!

The bartenders here like to go to other gay bars and aggressively shame others for not going to their bar especially the bald Latin/middle eastern looking guy with a beard he’s done it to me 3 times and to a few friends tonight

One of the only bars that I have really felt welcomed at and found friends at. I have been to a lot in the Austin area when in Texas and never felt welcomed as I did here there is a reason why this bar was ranked in the top twenties for gay bars in Vegas they have an inviting atmosphere and great service and food and do their best for the community here in Vegas. I have been to almost all of the bars here but this is my favorite place to go because it is just a great place to be. I never really went out to the bars because they always seemed to be oriented to one type of atmosphere but there is a different event and style every day of the week where everyone can feel comfortable.

Wow! What a fun karaoke night. Im a traveler and after having been offered several places to go by the locals, I ended up here for karaoke on a Sunday night. Man, I was impressed! Every single bartender was awesome and friendly! They didnt hesitate to talk to me about my travels and offer me suggestions. I even met some really cool people that I intend to stay in touch with after I leave Vegas! The singers were very talented and the KJ was great with her guests and on the microphone! I even stayed much later than everyone else to hang with the over night guy since he was so nice. Im definitely coming back very soon!

Stopped through Vegas met up with a friend. He took us straight to the Phoenix for lunch had the burger and fries with a two for one cocktails. Great atmosphere. Ashley was out server/bartender shes super cool and very knowledgeable about the cool places in Vegas.

Unpretentious. Friendly. Drinks are not overpriced. Food is inexpensive, but often requires a long wait. Music is not so loud that you cant chat with friends. A couple of the bartenders are cute. I hope they read this and try to decide which two.

The bartenders were very friendly and I never waited long for a drink even though it got pretty busy up there. However they were the best part of that bar. The toilets leak water so carful when u unzip ladies. It is a pretty small joint and smoke fills up quick n thick. Not every gay person smokes so the night was cut short, better ventilation is needed. But the worst part was the crowd. Not saying Im better then anyone however this is not a place to find anyone unless you have no standards. This was my first and last time there.

Sat here at the bar for 12 minutes with two bartenders working and never asked if I wanted a drink. I usually expect to wait about 5 minutes to get served but not sure why it takes so long around 4 pm on a Wednesday.

Amazing! I love this bar and Im not even LGBT! Very cool atmosphere with comfy chairs. They have a screen protector for video games, pool tables, darts, stage for kareoke , dance floor, and I really nice patio. Great pricing on drinks and tabletop video gambling machines. Highly recommend!

Ive been coming here for YEARS! This is like the gay version of Cheers. Great atmosphere, heart employees and regulars, and the food is not only reasonable, but also the best bar food Ive had in town. Without a doubt my favorite bar in town, and easily the best karaoke nights ever!

Like we need an excuse to not wear pants!Great bites menu, too! And I love the black light art.

I love this bar! Great atmosphere, great drinks (especially Magner’s Pear Cider and Not Your Father’s Rootbeer Float), and great events. There’s never been a cover when I’ve gone here and there are always great drag events. The only thing I don’t like about it is that you can smoke in the bar, but otherwise it’s perfect.

The lady working the door tonight was extremely rude, we turned around and left. Maybe one or two bar tabs don’t really matter, but we had 4 other joining us, but we all went to a different bar. If you can’t be respectful, you don’t get my money. We have visited regularly in the past, but will find another bar who treats us with respect moving forward. #Byeee

My wife and I like this place. Cheap drinks, good food, great drag shows, and a welcoming atmosphere. But the dj is such a buzzkill. Its like he doesnt notice that nobody dances to his stuff, even though the crowd obviously wants to dance. If youre into rolling balls to a light show hes your guy, but no good for just a night out with some friends and drinks.

Our bartenders were really nice and generally knowledgeable about the area and let us know some other great places to go. The drinks were great the only bad thing is the straws were small and got lost in my drink but our bartenders made up for it!

The bar tenders were so rude. A female bartender tried to charge me for 14 drinks instead of the 7 I ordered because they claimed we ordered twice when we asked about where our 7 drinks were because it was talking a long time. I paid for the 7 I ordered, and when she tried to get me to pay for the other 7 I finally said fine because I didn’t want to cause a scene and knew my group would drink them anyways. My bank declined the second charge because it seemed fraudulent and at that point the bartender refused to give me my debit card back. It was around then we noticed the 2 sets of 7 drinks looked completely different and the separate charges were for different amounts. Another person from my group paid for the second order of 7 drinks, I got my bank card back, and we promptly took our business elsewhere. The next day The Phoenix tried to charge my card again, so now I have to deal with canceling that card and getting a new one when I was supposed to be having a fun time on my vacation. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME!

The most fun you can have with your clothes on. LOL Actually, this bar feels like home to me. The times Ive been, Ive always felt warm and welcomed. It doesnt matter your gender, or your sexual affiliation (I am a straight female). The bar tenders and patrons have always made me feel right at home.I went to karaoke there on Monday, and after karaoke was over, the Dancetronauts played a gig. It was amazing! If you havent been, I suggest you check it out.

Phenomenal bar. Amazing people, food, everything. This isnt just some place to get trashed and laid, the owners have seriously invested their hearts into to this place, and it shows not just on the outside of the bulding with a phantastic mural and lighting. The inside is a well curated lighting and art showroom. I cant wait to see what else up the owners sleeves. Good job boys (and mom).

I had asked a question regarding a food allergy and the bartender proceeded to make fun of me and call me names and getting the chef in with it too when my food came out. It made me feel extremely unwelcomed and belittled for asking a question and that was the last time I ever go back.

This is another hidden Jem in the desert. Friendly atmosphere cheap drinks in. Vegas thats saying something. Great staff with good food. Not bar food either Im talking good. We love the Phoenix! The staff is super-friendly, and its energetic but not so loud that you cant talk to your friends. They also have a grill with a nice menu thats beyond just bar food. Check it out!

This place is the best to bring out of towners because its just so welcoming and fun. The food is honestly some of the best in town and its all affordable.My only complaint is how crowded it always is. Great for dancing and people watching.

This place was okay, a younger crowd of many 20 somethings and a mix and of men and women when I was there. People were playing video games on a large screen together and there was loud music even quite early in the evening. I got the feeling that many people knew each other there. I got an Uber the night I went and the lovely friendly lesbian driver said this is her club house where the women feel allowed. Its a shame they dont feel welcomed everywhere. Anyways I only had one drink here, not quite my kind of place but maybe if I went again I would like it a little more.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL AT THIS PLACE I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS!!! Absolute worst experience ever! A few of us went here Friday night after seeing that the reviews seemed ok, when we first got there seemed like it would be a cool environment to have a good time shortly after arriving it turned into a mess. My fiancé ordered 7 lemon drops from one of the bartenders, while waiting for their drinks the other bartender came up and asked them what they wanted and one of the other girls in our party said “we are waiting on 7 lemon drops”. Did not order a second set, simply let her know that’s what was ordered. The bartender took it upon their selves to make 7 more drinks, however in the meantime one of the bartenders brings my fiancé her order takes her card charges her $43 for that order, the female bartender then comes over and tells my fiancé she isn’t giving her her debit card back because she is now asking her to pay for a second set of drinks that no one ordered. On top of that all of a sudden the second round of the exact same oder is mysteriously $53. And One set of the drinks was foggy and the other was completely clear meaning something is clearly not right. They attempted to charge my fiancé’s card multiple times, but our bank wouldn’t allow the transactions because at this point the bank locked her card because of these people trying to run her card for the original order and then 3 separate times for $53 more after a separate member of our group had already went ahead and paid for the second set of drinks that we did not order. At one point the female bartender tried to push past me hella aggressively while refusing to give me my fiancé’s card and then attempted to say they would call the cops, but when I told them to go ahead because they’re the ones holding on to our property after we already paid for what we ordered it was a whole different attitude. They finally returned my fiancé’s card to us, but apparently NOT TILL AFTER THEY MUST HAVE WRITTEN DOWN HER INFORMATION BECAUSE THEY TRIED TO RUN HER CARD AGAIN MANY HOURS AFTER WE HAD ALREADY LEFT THE BAR FOR ANOTHER $53 BUT ALL DRINKS HAD BEEN PAID FOR!!!! I had to cancel my fiancé’s card and now wait for a new one because these bartenders are scam artists. Not only tried to charge more for drinks, but illegally kept my fiancé’s information. So please be aware of this place!!!!

Had 2 drinks, 1st drink was billed $10. I paid with a $20 and a tip. 2nd drink a different bartender same drink I laid a $20 on the counter he came and got it later said thanks and walked away. Didnt give me my change or ask if I wanted change. Not Kool!

Its 3am on a monday and my amf is amazing. I asked him to sub the gin out and it tastes great. Sound system doesnt hurt my ears, you can also hear you self think and talk. I never make reviews but I feel the fun around me. Worth my money to come by on my way home. I love the video games they have from beer pong, video games pool and so much more. There is of course not many people but enough if you are a loner to make friends.

Friendly staff, we came in on a Tuesday night, they were having trivia then drag show. Stayed for both. The atmosphere here is very friendly, from the staff to the patrons. Would recommend for anyone visiting.

O.M.G what an incredibly FUN experience I had one night here with one of my best friends! I drank the tastiest frozen strawberry daiquiris all night long while enjoying the male Go-go dancers and drag show. An amazing time was had by all!!!

Such a wonderful and non-judgmental place to go. Everyone is so kind, and the drag performers were friendly and on point as well. Food is delicious, and priced perfectly, as well as the drinks. Will be back!

Friendly staff that are always out on the floor mingling. Youll never see more than 3 people waiting for a drink (even when theyre super busy). They always have deals on drinks. The food and entertainment is ALWAYS worth the uber/Lyft here. I LOVE The Phoenix any day of the week.

The food was amazing. I had the fried chicken sliders with the jalapeno butter fries OMG the flavor was awesome. Really nice atmosphere, nice crowd. I would definitely visit again my next trip here.

The atmosphere and owners are great now if only the bartenders i.e. Robert and the Polynesian or Filipino gay chick stop being such prudes to customers it may look like theyre actually enjoying their jobs! A shame after so long Landon still puts up with it. SMH purchase your drinks elsewhere if you want to get their service with a smile. 3 bucks for soda would make anyone turn into an alcoholic js.

The place has definitely got its charm and thats apparent as soon as you walk through those doors. The atmosphere is bright, colorful, and, well, gay. You definitely get the stare-down thats typical and cliché of gay themes, but just ignore the intimidation and grasp your confidence by the balls. You will soon realize that everyone here is just like you. If you come to gamble, youre Ok with losing money. The machines arent very giving and not a penny machine in sight. If you come to do some gaming of another type, super Smash Bros is the game of choice in this place. Along with trivia nights, it makes for a sociable fun place. Eat something from the kitchen. Unique concoctions await to please your pallat.

My boy owns the place ao maybe im prejudiced a bit but i gotta say that the pizza here is pretty bomb, the drinks are reasonably priced and strong and Dj. Panda Funk is pretty damn good on the decks.

The food at The Kitchen was unexpectedly amazing. Seriously, their in-house kitchen is incredibly good!Its a fun atmosphere and great for dancing.

Great atmosphere and such a fun place

I love this bar, but since they have fired or switched the bar staff here the service has been horrible. You can be right next to the owner and still wait 5-10 minutes for a drink and then another 5 for your change because the new staff is socializing and not focusing on the customers. The new changes is a shame and i definitely hope it gets better
